Prayer For Today! by Myra Boozer

Father God, send your Light that we may walk in it.

Send your Truth that we may proclaim it from the rooftop.

Send your Power that all may see your Glory.

Send your Love that we may be refreshed, renewed, and redeemed.

Send your Mercy that we may be rescued from the evil one.

Send your Holiness that we may be washed clean.

Send your Deliverance so that we may go free.

Send your Freedom that all will rejoice and dance in the streets.

Send your Son that we may be taken away in the twinkling of an eye...to be where He is, forevermore...Amen!

"Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace." Luke 1:78-79

Have Faith In God!

Galatians 6:7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

We are engaged in a great spiritual war with the unholy forces of darkness. The scope of this conflict is greater than any we have faced before and will become increasingly more intense as we proceed. We must place ourselves in position for optimal results for ourselves and those we can assist. Jude 1:23, “And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”

We control the outcome of our battles by how we respond to them. If we become distressed and overwhelmed, the enemy will use that to defeat us. If we maintain faith and assurance, the Lord will be our rock and fortress. How do we achieve the latter and allow Christ to fight our battles? We must embrace Galatians 6:9 and have faith in God!

It all begins with an honest, faithful relationship with Jesus Christ. Come to the cross and leave everything there including yourself. Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” When you give it all to Him, it becomes His property and all belongs to Him. God will vigorously defend that which belongs to Him.

However, we must be strong in faith and submit to the way of God. We cannot become fractured by the circumstance and attempt to take control again. We will only repeat previous failures. Give all to the Lord and leave it there! Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

The discipline of our heavenly Father will save our lives. We must give Him our total selves, the good, the bad, the challenging, and the pleasant. “Give them all to Jesus, shattered dreams, wounded hearts, and broken toys...He will turn your sorrow into joy.” Put Your Faith In God!

Signs Of The Times! by Myra Boozer

One of the greatest signs we have concerning the End Times is the evil and corrupt spirit that prevails in our world. It is so unified in setting up this new world order. An order without decency, truth, and justice. One filled with deceit and hypocrisy. Closer to the end it will be where only those who deny God and His ways will be accepted by this world system.

This system is being fueled by selfish individuals who want nothing to do with Truth or Righteousness. They are all about controlling and promoting what they think is acceptable. They want to make all the calls and say what is offensive to them. They don't want any part of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, or any person who professes Christ.

They don't want to retain God in their minds. So as a Christian, just your existence reminds them of who THEY actually are. They are made aware that God IS, and they will be judged unholy and unrighteous in His sight because of their choices unless they REPENT.

“Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin," Isaiah 30:1.

Jesus wants to be their Savior today. But He will definitely be their Judge one day. I Samuel 15:23, "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry." God have Mercy on this world! Truly, Signs Of The Times!

The Weapons Of Our Warfare! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 7/29/24)

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;” Paul declares that our “weapons” are not in the flesh but “mighty” in the Spirit of God so that we may participate with Him in the destruction of the “strongholds” of Satan. This is a military phrase for the capture and destruction of fortresses. Ellicott states that Paul “speaks as if leading an attack on the strong defenses of the powers of evil, possibly thinking of the great system of idolatry and impurity enthroned at Corinth and throughout the Empire, possibly of those of pride and obstinate rebellion in the hearts of his individual opponents.”

Paul knew that His task was much larger than what he could perform. He knew that the Body of Christ would need the habitation of the Holy Spirit to finish the commission given by Christ. Subsequently, we have the promise of God that as we walk in the Holy Spirit, He (Holy Spirit) will exercise His power to destroy the strongholds of Satan.

Our weapons are not carnal but spiritual. The 1st Century Church was not successful in its mission to deliver the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world by human power and authority. These Disciples of Christ did not rely on learning or eloquence, or anything that could be attributed to human ability. Their source of power and strength was solely in Jesus Christ. God’s plan has not changed. The source of our power and strength must rest solely in Jesus Christ.

In closing, I want to ask a question. Have you pulled down any strongholds recently? If not, why not? I ask myself this same question. The source of my power and strength must rest solely in Jesus Christ. And when it does the fortresses of Satan will fall powerless in the presence of Almighty God! Bring it, Lord bring it! Help us all to die to everything that does not begin and end in You! Thank you God for considering an undeserving soul like me!

No Room For Satan! by Myra Boozer

“As the Communist atheists allowed no place for JESUS in their hearts, I decided I would leave NOT the smallest place for Satan in mine”...by Founders of the Voice of the Martyrs. We must be on guard what we allow in our hearts and our thoughts. Stay full of God and the Holy Spirit, and then there is no room for Satan.

The Spirit will warn us when Satan is knocking on our door wanting to come in through the media or through unforgiveness, idolatry, pride, and unbelief, to name a few. There are so many ways he will try to enter our minds and take up residence in our hearts. Don't answer when he comes knocking. If you do answer, make sure you answer with the Word of God. Luke 4:8, "Get thee behind me Satan for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." We live in a world filled with sin and corruption everywhere we look and we must stay away from it. We cannot partake of sin and remain pure, holy, and Godly.

A well-known evangelist said that after receiving Christ in his life, some of his past friends came by wanting him to do drugs with them. He thought about it and said, I would have to lay down what God has done for me. He washed me clean I can't go back to my old life. Thankfully he would not consider giving up his "New Life" in Christ for the pleasure of sin. The sin had almost killed him. He was used greatly by God to win many souls during the Pensacola Brownsville Revival beginning in 1995.

Remember we are in training for the Lord's Army. When we fall down, we get back up. Never give up on God! Keep striving for the finish. Philippians 4:13, "I CAN do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." With the help of our Lord, we will remain faithful to Him and the calling He has on our lives. So grateful He continues to pursue me and confronts me about my life through His Word. Psalm 119:105, "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." Guard your heart and thoughts so they are filled with God...leaving No Room For Satan in your life.

The Weapons Of Our Warfare!

2 Cor. 10:3, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

We are engaged in a mighty spiritual war! We must not be negligent in our mission as the Body of Christ. We are empowered by the shed blood of Jesus Christ to engage and defeat the enemy of all souls, Satan! All souls belong to God! Jesus has purchased all who will come to Him and receive His deliverance. God declares in Ezekiel 18:4, “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine:..” However, somebody must deliver the message of Christ's deliverance.

Although we are flesh we cannot win this war through our flesh. We already know that our carnal man has failed us and we cannot defeat Satan in our flesh. The weapons of this warfare must come from a higher plane. We must be empowered and instructed by the Lord God Almighty.

Paul gives instruction to the Church in Eph. 6:10, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:” What Paul is describing in this text is the power and work of the Holy Spirit which inhabits the life of a disciple of Jesus Christ. Our power and spiritual energy come through our obedience and submission to the Holy Spirit! (continued)

Time To Choose Sides! by Myra Boozer

Concerning the trial of Jesus Christ and his crucifixion found in Matthew 27, the governor asked the crowd which of the two should go free? The innocent Jesus or the guilty Barabbas? They, of course, chose the guilty one to go free and to crucify Jesus, the one innocent of the charges.

When we listen to the news concerning the evil actions and deeds of many people, we need to consider who we are siding with, the guilty or the righteous. I choose to side with God's Holy Word, the standard given to all people everywhere. This is truly about Light and Darkness.

The world is getting more and more evil and corrupt in its actions. The Word tells us to be a separate people, not just on Sunday or when we go to church, but in EVERY aspect of our living. Come out from among them! Don't be connected to or joined with them in their evil deeds. Romans 1:32, "Who knowing the judgement of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, But have pleasure in them that do them." Or could we say, consent, rally, cheer, and promote evil?

Romans 1: 25, "Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. amen...28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind...''

How else could any people believe it is okay to take the life of innocent babies, to change their sex, and to not identify their baby as male or female? Those who rally, cheer or protest for those who do so are also guilty of choosing to side with the guilty.

God help this world! It is time to be concerned because the JUDGEMENT SEAT OF CHRIST is getting closer. All will soon give an account of the choices made when we stand before the Lord on Judgement Day. Are you siding with the guilty or the innocent, the evil or the righteous? Time To Choose Sides!

These Are Perilous Times! Conclusion

2 Timothy 3:1, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be...3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

Paul told Timothy that in the last days, perilous times would come and then he detailed the conditions that would come to pass. He said that men would become “...Lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.” The Greek word used for “pleasure” is Philedonos. This word comes from two other words, philos and hedone. The first meaning “friend” and the second meaning “pleasure, desires for pleasure, and lust.” From this concept, the world has created Hedonism, the ethical theory that pleasure (in the sense of the satisfaction of desires) is the highest good and proper aim of human life. Paul said that in the last days, man’s pursuit of pleasure would be greater than his pursuit of God!

“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” Having the resemblance of Christian service but without the spiritual dynamic of the Holy Spirit. Peter said, "These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest…" 2 Peter 2:17. The barrenness of this false religion mocks the thirsty soul by promising refreshment but can not deliver. Perhaps Jude states it best in vs.12-13, "These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear; clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever." Paul says from such turn away or have no part with them. They will drag you into outer darkness with them!

Paul has described the characteristics of our world in 2024. We are presently living in that time! We can look at each character trait and we must admit that we are seeing that behavior in our society. Paul was prophesying about this time and the world we are living in and he connected these conditions with the last days! In the face of such overwhelming evidence in this passage and others, along with the conditions and events happening all over the world, we must conclude that THESE ARE THE PERILOUS TIMES OF THE LAST DAYS!

Jesus Take Control! by Myra Boozer

There comes a time in all of our lives when the things we thought would happen just didn't happen for whatever reason. But, God wants us to be still and know that He sees every tear and every challenge we have faced. He is telling us to "Be still, and know that I am God..." Psalm 46:10.

Being still is so very hard for a child, and sometimes as an adult, we get very anxious acting like a little child, wanting what we want, thinking we have everything figured out. We may think we have grown to maturity and think we have the bull by the horns. We have not! We must stand and look into the face of our great and mighty Maker and say woe is me for I am still childish.

“Take control of my life Lord and bring me to the place you want me to be, even though I may be kicking and rebelling all the time against you and your plan for my life. Yes, Lord please pick me up and correct me as I know you are a good Father and what you do will be for my own good. Times are changing fast and I lose my way. I must have your supervision to make my way to the place you have prepared for me and my family. Change me Lord into your image and into the Christian adult you want me to be. In your Holy Righteous Name, I do humbly ask." Jesus, Take Control!

These Are Perilous Times!

2 Timothy 3:1, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

Paul told Timothy that in the last days, perilous times would come. The original word for “last” is Eschatos meaning “last in time or in place.” From this word is derived Eschatology which is relating to the end of the world or the events associated with it. Paul states that this period of last days will be perilous times, hard to bear, troublesome, dangerous, harsh, fierce, and savage times. Then, he continues to characterize this period of the last days.

“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy...” Paul is describing a selfish people in this verse. Have you ever observed a more selfish and entitled generation? We are living in one of the most self-absorbed times in the history of mankind. It is hard to find people who are concerned about anyone else but themselves. Jesus said to love our neighbor as ourselves. People who are only focused on themselves cannot love others. Consequently, the driving force in their lives is to gain for themselves and it doesn’t matter who they hurt to achieve their goal.

“Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.” Without natural affection is used only twice in the New Testament. It is used here and in Romans 1:31. The term “affection” comes from the Greek astorgos meaning unsociable, unloving, and inhuman. Paul states that these characteristics will manifest themselves in the last days.

Well, we are seeing these things manifest right before our eyes. It is without natural affection for a mother of an unborn child to abort that living, developing baby. It is without natural affection for two people of the same sex to enter into a sexual relationship. It is unsociable, inhuman, and perverted love according to God’s Holy Word. And when the followers of Jesus Christ take a stand for these Biblical Truths, the false accusers, the fierce and despisers of those that are good, go ballistic. The haters, the militant, the defiant instigate social disorder, destroying public and private property and even causing the death of the innocent. They are incontinent, without self-control, and intemperate! (continued)

Your Unfailing Love! by Myra Boozer

Jesus, help us to know you better and know your unfailing love. I ask that you show us what real love is all about. We are needy people with a misunderstanding many times of how much YOU love us. Teach us about your agape love which covers all people. You love the high, the low, the rich, the poor. Your LOVE is like a river that flows freely for one and all. You see us all the same, a people in need of a Savior.

Lord, you've created each of us with a plan, a purpose for our life and not to live an isolated life with no one to share this love you have GIVEN. Lord, your love is not about caring and then forgetting. It is pure, holy, full of mercy, and EVERLASTING.

When we come under your umbrella of authority, we come into your Kingdom and accept your Lordship. When we cast off the earthly, carnal thinking and resign all our cares to you, you become the force within us to actually love as you love. You open our eyes to see the hurt and confusion in the hearts of mankind.

“All souls are mine,” is what you said in your Word. We are to care for one and all, not just the tender and gentle but also the cold and harsh. They need to know you and you want us to love them as you love them. Help us to break down the walls of separation, walls that create solitude and loneliness, the place where lies grow and deception controls, a place of absolute misery and spiritual death without your REDEMPTION.

"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us we ought also to love one another,"         1 John 4:10-11.

Lord, I want to sink deep into the truth you have for me today. Nothing should be as important as what you are saying to my heart. Cause me to desire to be filled with your love and mercy. May my actions show those around me your character. Lord, touch my heart with your compassion. Touch my eyes to see their needs, my ears to hear their cries, my hands to offer a healing touch, and my lips to speak your words of LIFE.

Prepare our hearts, dear Lord, for out of them will flow the most BEAUTIFUL LOVE that we can imagine, love that will cause us to pray for one another. We are FAMILY because you are our Father and we are experiencing Your Unfailing Love!

Arise, O Lord God Into Your Resting Place!

2 Chronicles 6:40, “Now, my God, let, I beseech thee, thine eyes be open, and let thine ears be attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. 41 Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness. 42 O LORD God, turn not away the face of thine anointed...”

2 Chronicles 7:1, “Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.”

We pray for and sincerely desire that the glory of God rest upon His House. You are His house. Ephesians 2:22, “In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Solomon had prepared the House for God's habitation and invited God to live there. 2 Chronicles 6:41, “Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place,..” Solomon spared no expense and people gave freely and abundantly. The edifice that was created was a tribute to the glory of God and the love of His people.

Let us prepare this house for the manifest presence of God. Allow the blood of Jesus to wash it clean and make it holy and acceptable to God. Romans 12:1, “...that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Invite Jesus Christ to live in this house and display His character through you. Give up and submit complete control to the influence of the Holy Spirit. Follow Him as He leads and directs. The result is a life lived to the glory of God and filled with love for Him.

God's promise to Solomon was, “...I have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.” 2 Chronicles 7:12 says, If it doesn't rain...if the locusts devour your crops or pestilence comes...if you will pray, humble yourselves and turn from YOUR way (rebellion), then I will hear you from heaven and will forgive and heal because I see you and hear your prayers.

Regardless of what you may face tomorrow, God will walk with you through it if you will trust Him. Psalm 121:8, “The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” God watches over everything you do all the time, in every circumstance, and forever. As a believer, you are “covered” by the abiding presence of the Lord. Blessed be the Name of the Lord. Arise, O Lord God Into Thy Resting Place!

Struggles Are Necessary! by Myra Boozer

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 41:31

I have been thinking about struggles lately, maybe because I have had a few. I came across this story and it helps put things into perspective. Maybe it will help someone else.

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no further. So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon.

The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that at any moment the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It was never able to fly.

What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

SOMETIMES STRUGGLES ARE EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED IN OUR LIVES! If God allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could be. We could never fly! Lord, help me to not doubt the path you have chosen for me because you are working ALL things for my good, even in the struggles.

This life is full of struggles but one Day, and it may not be that far away, we are going to hear that trumpet sound and our wings are gonna open wide, lifting us right off this earth to meet our Lord in the clouds. We will be so glad we endured whatever we had to endure to make us strong in the Lord. I'm gonna lift my hands til I reach Heaven...a sign of surrender to the Almighty One and also a sign of adoration to OUR KING. Struggles Are Necessary!

God's Grace Is Greater Than The Storm!

John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.”

“In the beginning God created..,” Gen. 1:1. He has been a part of every beginning since. He has been with us from the beginning of the journey and He wants us to understand that it is through Him that we will finish this race. There is no other power, presence, or virtue sufficient to complete our assignment. He will magnify our efforts and ministry as He receives the honor and glory for the results. He is our all in all!

I am weak but He is strong! 2 Cor. 12:9, “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” God’s grace is sufficient for each and every test or trial we face. If we allow Him to fully control our lives, we are made strong in our weakness because in our weakness God shows His strength. There is no enemy that can stand against Him or foe that He cannot overcome. There is no fortress that can withstand Him and no opposition that he cannot vanquish. Let Him wrap you in the mantle of His authority and shelter you from the storms ahead.

I hear a rumbling in the distance, the sound of a mighty army moving into position. It is a well-prepared army, with each soldier in his place and prepared to perform his duty. There is ONE with them whose eyes are a flaming fire and He is clothed with a vesture dipped in blood. His name is the Word of God. Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword to smite the nations and rule them with the rod of Truth and He tramps the wine press of the wrath of Almighty God. He has on His garment and on His thigh written the name, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. At His appearing every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord! Rev. 22:17, “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” God’s Grace Is Greater Than Your Storm!

Who's Going To Tell Them? by Myra Boozer

Psalm 7:9, “Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. 10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. 11 GOD JUDGETH THE RIGHTEOUS, AND GOD IS ANGRY WITH THE WICKED EVERY DAY.” (emphasis added)

This may be hard and difficult for some Preachers to Preach. But, someone needs to tell the people if they live wickedly that God is angry. There is so much wickedness going on in our world. God is certainly not happy with them! You can read Psalms 7:12-16 and see what He has in mind for the wicked. Verse 16 states, "His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate." I thought there was an error but the word pate, according to Webster means the head, especially the top of the head. I believe it is time for REPENTANCE unless people want to meet an angry God. Who's Going To Tell Them?

Lord Jesus, We Are Desperate For You!

Lord Jesus Christ, we, the Body of Christ, need You in a desperate way today. We need You to unlock our consciousness and pour Your inspiration and revelation into us. Lord, take charge of Your Church and fulfill Your mission in us!

Lord, I desperately need You! I desire to hear Your consoling words and have them take root in my heart. Come, Lord Jesus, and raise this mortal soul into Your heavenly realm. Just give me a glimpse, I pray, of what is before us. I do not question Your ways and submit totally to Your leading. Help me to walk in unreserved obedience and baptize me afresh in Your love and compassion. Almighty God, seize my soul in Your embrace to walk in intimate relationship and companionship. Bear me up on Your wings. Empower me to soar above this world and all its problems. Help me to see only what You desire to reveal.

Lord, I hunger and thirst for Your constant presence! It is not sufficient to only meet with You on religious occasions. I must know that I am going where You are going, doing what You are doing, and a part of Your grand endeavors in and through the Body of Christ. Take me, take me now where it is just You and me. Put within me all that I need to complete our journey here! In Jesus’ name! Amen. We Are Desperate For You! Jesus Christ is our living hope!

What God Has Ordained He Will Establish! by Myra Boozer

Isaiah 46:9, “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: 11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.”

I love walls and gates. I love boundaries of protection with gates that open to new revelations or new experiences. In 2013 and before, we prayed, "Open the doors you want open Lord, and close those you want closed." We have learned His Ways are so much better than ours and to Trust Him brings great Joy!

Now, today we are giving so much Praise and Honor to our Lord who opened the way for us to minister to the Whole World. We are so humbled and feel like David...whom God pulled from the fields all dirty and sweaty from tending to his Father's sheep...unworthy, unknown by many, and just hidden away from all the crowds...but yet remembering what God had spoken to us on many occasions and He has made our calling and election very sure (confident, positive, absolute, certain without doubt, determine, ESTABLISH).

We knew that in His time God would reveal to us His Will for these Last Days. I was reminded by a friend as she told me that God spoke these words to her, "What God ordains He will establish." Those whom God calls, He ordains, He consecrates with His anointing. It is not for us to question but to yield to His timing. He will establish (to work or settle in a permanent place) build up, set up, install, prove, verify, and confirm.

David's own family had no real confidence in him. When he went to the battlefield to serve them food, they knew him as their little brother doing the work that maybe they didn't want to do. He wasn't a popular person but he was a person who loved God and had seen firsthand how God had protected him against the bear and the lion. David had a song in his heart that God loved to hear and God chose him to be anointed as the King of Israel.

To be a “nobody” is not a bad thing when God knows you by name and knows exactly where you are. He also knows He can depend on you to listen to His voice, be obedient, and follow His commands when the Gate opens. At that point, he will lead you into new and deeper revelations of Himself so that you can be the witness that He has ordained you to be. Whatever the task great or small, it is such an honor to be chosen and used by God to minister to others. What God Has Ordained He Will Establish!

What Do We Do When Confronted By The Enemy? Conclusion

(for part 1 see 7/23/24)

God sent young David to the battlefield that day because He needed a champion and He had chosen David. He didn’t pick someone who would be measured as a warrior. The king’s armor would not fit this ruddy young lad; nevertheless, he was God’s champion. He left the field that day with a resounding victory because he gave himself into the hands of God.

The Body of Christ is facing its own spiritual giants. At the same time, the Holy Spirit is raising up God’s Champions to render the enemy helpless and deliver a resounding victory. We know how this will end. God will be the victor! But are we willing to answer God’s call and become His Champion for His cause? David used what was familiar to him, his faith in God and his slingshot. He became a willing participant in God’s cause. Will you give yourself without reservation into the hands of God and become a willing participant in His cause.

Remember the One we represent! We are covered by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is POWER in the NAME of JESUS! He will vanquish every foe and cause us to triumph over every evil plan of the enemy.  Give yourself wholly into His hands and become His CHAMPION? Thanks be to God who gives us the VICTORY today and forever through our Lord Jesus Christ!

Good News! by Myra Boozer

Singing the old songs and hymns can really make one homesick for Heaven and for our loved ones who are already there. Listening to these songs carries one into a place where the heart swells with love for our Lord Jesus. He is the one who has done so much for all of us...not just a few, a specific people, or a particular nationality...BUT FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE! That includes YOU...

He gave His all for YOU, whoever you are! If you're feeling lonely, forsaken, lost, and hopeless, I have good news for you. You are not forgotten! Jesus knows you by name! He desires to forgive you and heal your broken heart. He wants a relationship with you like no one you have ever known. He will be your constant companion and friend, your provider, your confidant, and your Savior. He will carry you through this life and take you to His Home when this life is over.

Just look up and give yourself in total surrender to Him. He sees every tear you cry and He knows just how you feel. You see, He too is forsaken and forgotten by so many today. Many who have in the past called Him Lord and Master have fallen into the trap of Satan. They have fallen for his lies and tried to make it without God. They are now bruised and battered by Satan. They were blinded by his influence as they were drawn away by their own lust. Some who were reaching for a higher level of fame and fortune have only fallen deeper and deeper into Satan's scheme of destruction. They are almost destroyed by this enemy, feeling rejected and hopeless.

GOOD NEWS! It isn't too late because He still knows you by name. He knows your MOTHER’S NAME AND YOUR GRANDMOTHER'S NAME. HE REMEMBERS THOSE WHO PRAYED MANY PRAYERS FOR THEIR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN and He is answering those prayers. He also knows those who had no one to pray for them. He knows where you are and HE is there with you as you read this. Fall into His arms of Mercy! It's not too late but the time to seek Him is when He is calling. If you feel Him speaking to YOUR heart, Don't delay! Answer, Yes Lord! If you don't feel HIM, Cry out until you do feel Him! "The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit..." Psalm 34:18. That is the Good News!

What Do We Do When Confronted By The Enemy?

1 Samuel 17:40, “And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine...45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. 46This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand;...”

What is the significance of the smooth stones that David chose? The smooth stones were more aerodynamic. They would fly straight. David knew this not because he had studied physics at the University of Jerusalem. He knew this through his own practical experience with a slingshot. This was a tried and true weapon in the hands of a proficient champion. David used what he had in his hands. He used what he knew best, his faith in the Lord God of Israel and his slingshot. The combination of the two was a sure formula for victory.

What do we do when confronted by the enemy? Much like the armies of Israel when confronted by the Philistines and their champion, we stand motionless in fear at the very prospect of defeat. Thoughts of doubt and uncertainty flood our minds and cause us to lose heart. In our minds, we are defeated already! And if that is our mindset, then we are defeated before we even engage the enemy. Let us be reminded of who we represent. We enter the plain of battle in the name of the same Lord God Jehovah that David represented. We have the same resources! Use what is in your hand and trust God! (continued)

Come To Me! by Myra Boozer

“COME TO ME when you are hurting and I will soothe your pain. Come to Me when you are joyful, and I will share your Joy multiplying it many times over," from “Jesus Calling.”

If the things that bring us joy are things that are acceptable in the sight of the Lord, it is so easy to share them with Him. But, on the other hand, if we are taking pleasure from the things of this world, things that His word says not to partake of, then we cannot share those with Him. That is where we come up short. Because, His Word says "The Joy of the Lord is my STRENGTH," Neh. 8:10.

Are you Spiritually weak today? Check to see if you have been taking pleasure in the WRONG things. That could be your answer, especially, if you are seeking to be closer to the Lord and wanting to enjoy your life in Him. He has a plan and it works!

Matt. 11:28, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

It's Time To Come Home!

In the book of Luke, chapter 15, a certain man had two sons. The youngest of them decided he wanted to go out and make his mark in the world. So he took his portion of his father’s goods and went away into a far country. There he wasted his inheritance in riotous living. “And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want,” Luke 15:14. He found himself living with pigs and no one would help him. However, it was while he suffered in those deplorable conditions that his sense of home returned to him. Luke 15:17, “And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father.”

In that terrible place and demeaning position he began to think about home and the pleasant memories of serving in his father's house. He came to his right senses saying, “I will arise and go to my father...” v17. His sense of guilt and remorse brought him to a state of repentance making him willing to be a servant in his father's house. He left his deplorable life and returned to his father. His father received him with open arms declaring, “...my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry,” v.24.

It’s Time To Come Home! It doesn’t matter where you are or how deplorable your life. Your Heavenly Father wants you to know that He loves you and stands waiting with His arms open, ready to welcome you home. Come on home son or daughter! Your provision is in Your Father’s house!

John 6:35, “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”

Grace For Grace! by Myra Boozer

John 1:16-17, "And of His fullness have all we received, and grace for grace, For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."

Thank you God for sending your Son Jesus. Thank you...things have changed. We no longer struggle to conform to the law. Because of Jesus, we have been covered by Grace and He has written His laws in our hearts that we might not sin against HIM. Lord God, your ways and your truths are so strong and mighty and worth seeking.

My mind and my heart have a hard time understanding your willingness to send your Son to die for us. I am humbled when I think of Jesus' willingness to suffer such humiliation, shame, and torture that resulted in death on the old rugged cross. Not for one, but for all who would kneel at that cross in repentance of their sins.

Every day I can come to your Banquet of Grace. Love, Forgiveness, and Healing are all provided and so much more. When I come humbly before you, I receive all your provisions. It is only through my Faith in You that I eat from the TABLE you have so graciously set before me. Lord, I pray for greater Faith and a stronger desire to push through every distraction that keeps me from your table.

Thank you for this "grace upon grace." It flows down from the Father of Light. It is shining in the darkness but many are not willing or accepting. They are not comprehending it. "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth NOT is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. For this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men LOVED darkness rather than light, because their deeds were EVIL." John 3:18-19

The Word says in John 3:15, "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life" So glad that "whosoever" included me! Grace For Grace!

God Loves You!

John 3:14, “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

Our frail human mind cannot fully comprehend the magnitude of God’s love for us. How can someone who we have not known previously be willing to sacrifice His only Son for our benefit? Romans 5:6, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.”

When we did not realize how wretched, vile, reprobate, and lost we were, God had planned for our total and complete deliverance! Through the precious blood offering of His Son Jesus, the pure and spotless Lamb of God, the penalty for sin was paid. When barely for a righteous man and possibly for a good man some would dare to die, God loved us when we were still sinners. Christ died for us and we are justified by His blood. We are saved from the wrath of God as we look to the cross and believe. When the sin in us made us enemies of God we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son. We have now received life through the atonement for our sin by Christ Jesus. He died and rose again to provide our deliverance, to free us from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment.

God’s desire is for all men everywhere to be saved. 1 Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all...” God has prepared the way through the gift of His only Son. The penalty for sin has been paid. All one needs to do is repent of his sins and accept the Lordship of Christ in his life. God Loves You!

If you are tired of what sin has done to your life and want to be FREE from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment, Pray this prayer with me! “Lord Jesus Christ, Thank You for paying the penalty for my sin. I believe You gave Your life to ransom my life. I believe You died on the cross but You rose victorious over death, hell and the grave on the third day just as You had promised. I’m tired of my life of sin. From this moment forward, I give my life to You. You paid the ransom for my sin. I belong to You. Use me now for Your honor and glory and give me an eternal home with You in heaven. Thank You Lord Jesus for Loving me! Amen!”

Our Hope Is Jesus! by Myra Boozer

Just thinking how Satan works to paint a picture of a horrible, no-win situation in the lives of those who may be going thru a dry valley...a place where you are thirsty for a drink of spiritual water...a place where you seem to be all alone and no one seems to have time to give you an encouraging word...a time when the wall just won't come down and the Lord seems to withhold the ladder for you to climb over. And then, with everything else it's time to pay those bills and the money is low...the tears seem to flow and the heart breaks but you find that the Lord is standing in front of you holding out His hands to you...wanting to lift you from the valley and sit you on the mountain of Hope where the sun is shining and the birds are singing the song of deliverance.

It is up to you...after you pour out your heart and rid yourself of all doubt and fears...reach up to the ONE who can change that picture and give you the best drink of water you have ever had. He will tear down those walls and open doors that have been closed. His promise is for you! If you are looking down instead of looking up, God loves you...love Him back and watch things begin to change. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEtDhcmQtzs&t=40s

Oh God! Show Us Your Mercy!

As I gaze out my window, I am reminded of how good and great God is. The earth with all its beauty was created by Him. He spoke the words and all things were made. The glory of it all is incomprehensible except by the Spirit of God. He must open our eyes to the totality of all He has placed in our world. Help us Lord to search and find. Help us to see all your beauty and glory. My mind, my heart, and my spirit stand in awe of the wonder of Your creation!

In contrast, the picture of this world is catastrophic. What man has done to the glory of God's creative masterpiece is a shame and disgrace! How can we sincerely ask God to bless the mess that man has created? I simply pray, “God, show us your love, show us your grace, show us your mercy.” Just as the wind bends the mighty oak tree and its leaves and branches yield completely to the strength of the wind, may the Holy Spirit of God cause the nations to bow in convicted repentance. God move us by your Holy Spirit to yield to your will and your way. Bring us to a convicted repentance! Oh God! Have Mercy On Us! Oh God! Save us!

Isaiah 1:18, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.”

Mercy And Truth Meet Together! by Myra Boozer

Psalm 85:10, “Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.”

“Mercy and Truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other" is one of my favorite scriptures. You know, Truth is so strong and forceful it stands tall but cannot make its way into the heart of man without mercy. They go hand in hand and that, my friend, is because of Jesus.

Righteousness (right living) is so hard for many of us. We try to do good and be acceptable in the eyes of God. We all come up short because our goodness is nothing. It is His power that dwells in us. That only comes because of Jesus and I say, "Teach me your ways O Lord." Pick me up and put me back on that straight path. When He does, it isn't always pleasant, but usually after tears of repentance “Peace will come so sweetly and Kiss Righteousness.” Peace can't be bought with money or bartered in any way. It only comes when we yield everything over to the Prince of Peace and fully rely on Him.

He is so worthy of our praise! I love you, Lord! I treasure your presence which comes down like a dove when my heart is overwhelmed. When those in need come knocking on our door for help, we know who to call on. You are our very present help in time of need and people know that You dwell in this house, our Spiritual house and physical house. You are here with us. We acknowledge that it is by Your great power that we can help others. Lord, You can do what no other can do and your presence brings Mercy and Truth every time.

The Gospel Of Jesus Christ Is Your Answer!

2 Cor. 6:2, “...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

The Message Bible states it this way, “Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped.” The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to the needs in every person’s life. All men need to hear and respond to the message of redemption and freedom in Christ. The message of Jesus Christ is the light of pure redemption shining forth in a world filled with darkness.

This is the Message of deliverance for all who will believe! All repented sin is forgiven in the Gospel! All human weakness is given strength in the Gospel! All chains of bondage are broken in the Gospel! All the poor receive the Good News in the Gospel! All the broken hearts are healed in the Gospel! All the captives are delivered in the Gospel! All the blind receive their sight in the Gospel! All the bruised are given liberty in the Gospel! All the burdened and battered are set free in the Gospel! The Gospel is the Good News of the delivering power of Jesus Christ through His shed blood. Jesus became the sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. Through His sacrifice we are delivered from sin and sin’s punishment.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to every need in our lives! He issues our invitation in Matt. 11:28, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

“Are you tired of chasing pretty rainbows? Are you tired of spinning round and round? Wrap up all the shattered dreams of your life, at the feet of Jesus lay them down. Give them all, give them all, give them all to Jesus, shattered dreams, wounded hearts, and broken toys. Give them all, give them all, give them all to Jesus, He will turn your sorrow into Joy.” The Gospel Of Jesus Christ Is Your Answer! www.youtube.com/watch?v=izYoI1oBdEg

When I Don't Know What To Do! by Myra Boozer

Lord, when the world is overwhelming and I don't know what to do,

I struggle with my feelings and try to trust in You.

When the trials come down like rain and I think I'm about to sink,

I call for you to save me and stop all my defeat.

When my feet get weary from running and my eyes are full of fear,

I turn to you and just in time, I know that you are near.

When my lips began to quiver and my heart begins to faint,

I stand upon the Solid Rock and call upon Your Name.

You Come!...for you are not afraid of what I'm feeling and you calm my stormy sea.

I draw a breath of sweet relief and put my trust in Thee...

“My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever,”  Psalm 73:26.

Lord Jesus, Capture Me!

Psalm 19:14, "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."

Lord Jesus, today I ask you to capture my mind, capture my heart, and capture my soul. Keep me, the total me, safely in your hand. Empty this vessel of all substance except YOU. Fill me full with YOUR SPIRIT. Create fresh in me the passion, power, and deliverance of your VISION! Engage my total self to procure the desire of your heart through me. Fill this emptiness with an outflow of living water, creating a worthy vessel overflowing with your love, compassion, and generosity. Help me to feel the hurting of the precious lives that surround the place of my habitation. Flow through me to aid and comfort those who are bleeding. They are bleeding out the wonder of life because of the mortal wounds of the enemy. Help me to stop the bleeding that is draining them of the very life you give. Anoint me to bring the good tidings of YOUR Gospel to a broken world.

Oh! That your Holy Spirit in me would bind up the brokenhearted, those whose hearts have been shattered by the deceitful, insidious enemy of their soul. Lord, set at liberty those held captive, held captive by their past. Release them today from their broken dreams and failed plans. Cause them to look to YOU for their total deliverance and life in YOU. In the Name of Jesus, set them free! Break the chains and open the prisons for those who are bound. May the Holy Ghost invade the dominions of Satan with such power that the chains will disintegrate at His mere presence. May the presence of Almighty God be so powerful that the prison doors be hurled from their hinges and these eternal souls be forever set free.

Lord Jesus Christ, I pray this day for your anointing to fall heavy upon the Body of Christ, that we walk as you walked, talk as you talked, and BE as YOU ARE the LIVING BREATH OF LIFE in an otherwise lifeless world. Lord, anoint us with the message of YOUR GOSPEL that all who will hear will accept YOUR LIFE and have that LIFE most ABUNDANT. Praise to our LIVING CHRIST, in JESUS NAME! Lord Jesus, Capture Me!

Behold The Lamb Of God! by Myra Boozer

What kind of stir do you think happened in the area of Galilee when someone yelled, "Jesus is Coming!...I just saw him, He is headed this way...Hurry, let's go and see this man that people are talking about."

I can IMAGINE, a Mother with a sick baby. Maybe it has been fretful for several days but now she feels the intense heat of its little body upon her chest. She has the baby tied in a sling around her waist and knows the chores she has been doing will have to wait. Dinner will be delayed for Jesus is coming...

I can imagine her scurrying around to make her home safe so she could leave and follow the crowd. I can feel the rush of her heartbeat as she thought...”today, I will see Jesus and He will heal my baby!” No more fear, no more anxiety over her now lifeless little one...”Today my baby will be healed!"

Because of her faith and her persistence, she set out to push her way through the now seemingly impossible gathering of people. You see, she was not the only one who believed. She and many others heard about the miracles...the lame walking, the blind seeing, the little girl raised from the dead...even the grieving Mother given back her son as Jesus passed them in the funeral procession. Yes! She knew what He could do and she had to make her way to Him regardless of the effort it took. Her baby’s life depended on it.

Are you in need of a miracle in your life or in the life of someone you know? What are you willing to do to reach Jesus? It could mean breaking free from everything that holds you captive. Getting desperate and strong in determination to go the distance. It could mean pushing through the crowd to touch Jesus, the one who can change your life or someone you love and bring hope to the hopeless situation. Jesus is the giver of life...the Great I am...the one who will take time to stop and HEAL YOU...Behold The Lamb Of God!

No More Fear!

Luke 24:21, “But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.”

The disciples were dejected and depressed because they had believed that Jesus was the one to “have redeemed” Israel but this “is the third day since these things were done.”  It is noteworthy that this conversation took place on the third day. Jesus had taught them that He would go to Jerusalem and there He would die. But, He also taught them that He would be raised on the third day. Jesus had revealed the plan of God to them. However, they were so consumed with His death that Satan had stolen the most important part, the promise of His resurrection. This was the day of their salvation, redemption, and victory, but they just could not see it!

These disciples were going through all the emotions of losing someone close to their hearts. The first emotion was denial, the absolute disbelief that this could be happening to them. All the signs appeared to point to Jesus as the Messiah. How could they have been so wrong about Him? They were experiencing the intrusion of a life-altering doubt, a crippling doubt that would cause them to question all the things previously discerned to have been settled. How could they ever trust their emotions and discernment after suffering such a debilitating loss? They had dared to love and trust so deeply that their lives were forever changed by this experience. God's plan was proceeding on schedule just as Jesus had prophesied. It just wasn't time for their resurrection revelation.

How often do we find ourselves in the position of denial and question, “Why are these harsh circumstances developing around us?” We are susceptible to cry out in absolute disbelief, “I can't believe this is happening to me!” This position makes us vulnerable and opens the door for Satan to rush in and steal our faith. In extreme cases, just like the disciples, our soul can be seized with such life-altering doubt our Christian service is totally paralyzed and we cannot proceed further! In that moment, we should run to God and fall upon our faces in prayer! If we will seek His face in submission, He will throw off the chains of dejection and depression as we heed the burning desire of the Holy Spirit that lives within us. We are never alone. Heb. 13:5, “...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

We can easily get caught up in the climate and events of this present day. Like these disciples, we make question why all the negative stuff appears to be happening to us. But Jesus said it would be this way in the last days and that He would return to catch His Church away and redeem His people Israel. We must be careful that we are not so consumed with our current distress that we allow Satan to steal away the promise of our redemption and the Second Coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

We can place our total confidence in the promises the Lord has given us. He will never fail us! What He has promised, He will fulfill so there is No Need To Fear!

Joy Is Coming In The Morning! by Myra Boozer

Sorrows may last for the night

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Sickness may seem to have its way

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Heartaches may swell and your heart may bleed

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Friends may withhold their love from you

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Troubles may pound upon your door

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Your pantry may be empty and the rent may be due

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

The family you have counted on, all your life may all be gone

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Your finances may dwindle and finally run out

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

The night may be long and weary no doubt

But Joy is coming in the Morning!

Psalms 30:5, "...weeping may endure through the night, but joy comes with the morning."

Remember faith grows in darkness. He is Coming. Don't give up but hold to His promise! Joy Is Coming In The Morning!

Call Unto The Lord And He Will Answer You!

Psalm 3:3, “But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. 4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. 5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.”

We need to be ready to leave where God is not and go to where God is! It is always important to know where we are and where God is. Where are we in relation to where God desires us to be? I personally feel the need to press in and press through the opposition of the enemy into the good that God has for me and all that I may influence. I must Call Unto The Lord!

Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” God has “good” planned for those who will answer His call and follow Him in faith. He has a secured end or divine heritage. We need not question our finish if only we will heed the voice of God. He knows where He is going. He goes before us and leads the way. John 10:4, “And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.” We must determine if we are going to follow Christ whatever the cost! We must Call Unto The Lord!

Jeremiah 29:12, “Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.” Oh, to Call Unto The Lord our God, to seek His face and hear and see His answers! He promises to hear and respond (hearken). Our challenge is to clearly perceive His response. The Spirit of God is pushing back against the darkness that permeates this sinful world. God is calling His warriors to come alongside Him, join in the battle, and share His victory. He is calling us to our knees to intercede for a lost and dying world. Will you Call Unto The Lord?

Jeremiah 29:13, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” God is always available, “...ye shall seek me, and find me...” He is always with us. But we must have a sense of His presence to recognize His voice and to understand what he is doing or planning to do. God's promise is that we will find Him when we search for Him with all our hearts.

The human condition requires the intervention of our creator. We always need God's assistance! The question is, “Do we really want his help?” Are we willing to relinquish complete control of our lives to Him? He knows the way we take (the path we should follow) and will direct our steps accordingly.

God has a plan for us, a plan for good and not evil. He has an expected (secured) finish for His faithful, obedient children. Lord, help us to search for you with all our hearts. Help us to walk in your manifest presence and to seek you with all our hearts! Amen. He compassionately entreats, and pleads for us to Call Unto The Lord!

Go Light Your World! by Myra Boozer

Dear Lord, I ask that your LIGHT shine in the darkness today. Many are struggling and can't find their way. They seem to have no one to point them to you. They are so alone and lost without your guiding light.

Lord, I will be a candle if you will trim my wick and set my soul on fire. My heart is willing and my compassion is growing stronger for people who are covered in such deep deep darkness. I know one candle isn't much for the multitudes. But, my heart cries out to help! If it is for just one person, that person is so WORTH SAVING!

May I share your LIGHT in this dark and lonely world of struggling, helpless souls. You Lord, can make their path clear when they see your ever Guiding Light...even if it is from one small candle…

From one who's so glad I found YOUR LIGHT…

Light In The Darkness!

In Acts 13 we read about the beginning of Paul’s missionary ministry. The leading and anointing of the Holy Ghost was an integral part of Paul’s ministry and gave him the advantage of discerning Light from Darkness. Acts 13:2, “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. 4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.” Notice that the Holy Ghost made the selection and the Holy Ghost gave the assignment. We must lay our plans aside and petition God to make us part of His Plan.

They preached the Word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. A certain deputy of the country called for Paul and Barnabas desiring to hear the Word of God. A certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus opposed them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Acts 13:9, “Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, 10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? 11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. 12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.” The reality of this passage is that those who oppose Jesus Christ really do walk in darkness. The decree of the Holy Ghost brought to fruition the physical reality that the sorcerer was truly walking in spiritual darkness.

The Holy Spirit discerned the “darkness” and called it out. In the power of the Spirit, the darkness was defined and confined. There is no further mention of Bar-jesus in the Bible. The lesson to be learned here is that the judgment of God is sure and final. This was God’s Plan! The Holy Ghost did the choosing and gave the assignment. Therefore, Paul’s mission was under the mantel of Christ and without limitation. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must walk in the Light as the Holy Ghost leads and move in the anointing of His assignment. He will discern the Darkness, Define and Confine it. By the power of the Spirit, the power of darkness will be revealed and deposed! By The Holy Ghost, we will discern Light In The Darkness!

Who Is On The Lord's Side? by Myra Boozer

WHO IS ON THE LORD'S SIDE AMONG YOU? This is the title of an old song that we sang about 40 years ago. I am asking the same question today. You don't have to answer now but in the days to come the question will clearly be asked. Pressure is going to become stronger (MORE INTENSE) and you will have to give an answer.

The answer is not true or false, or even a multiple choice. It is an answer that will be given by the way you live your life and stand true to what the Bible says about sin. Yes, you will be hated by the world, not by just one or two friends but by the world and its system...REJECTION in its highest form.

You may have been a Christian in hiding, following God from afar. But you will be asked, “Are you one of them?” Be ready! It will take the power of the Holy Ghost in our lives to say, “Yes I am, and I agree with the Word of God.” ALL OF IT...not just the acceptable part that people love to hear...BUT THE PART WHERE SIN WILL BE JUDGED...THAT NO VILE OR UNCLEAN PERSON (ONE NOT COVERED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS) WILL ENTER INTO HEAVEN...ALSO, THAT SIN WILL REAP IT'S JUST REWARD...THAT JUDGMENT IS COMING UPON THIS WORLD...THAT JESUS IS THE ONE AND ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN.

Get ready! Don't delay! Call upon the Lord to give you what is needed when the question is asked, “Who Is On The Lord’s Side?”

Push Back Against The Darkness! Conclusion

Spiritual darkness has come upon this world like a spiritual tsunami! Our struggles in the spirit realm have spilled over into our physical world and invariably affect our way of life. It is a serious matter to exclude God from our daily lives. That is what has transpired in many nations including the United States. God has been legislated out of our schools, governments, and public arenas. It is there that truth and justice should be promoted and encouraged. We have allowed our leaders to prohibit the mention of God in our public places and then wonder why our world is in such a mess. We have excluded God and He has left us to our own devices and the consequences of governing in the flesh.

Satan has silently done his work. We did not recognize the evil he intended and unwittingly became a partaker of his evil scheme. But we cannot go silently into the night. Even at this late hour, we must draw attention to the evil and avarice in this world! We must take a stand for truth and righteousness! We must actively and purposefully push back against the darkness.

Matt. 5:14, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

What has happened to the light? Where are God’s Champions for Truth and Righteousness? Jude 1:3, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” Instead of being separated from the world to be a light to the world, the world has been assimilated into the churches. When we rely more on the planning and production models that we have observed in the world than on the revelation and anointing of the Holy Spirit, how can we expect people to be enlightened and changed? Can we really expect lives to be convicted of sin and changed in repentance and regeneration without the leading and anointing of the Holy Spirit?

Why do we fall back on the arm of the flesh? Because it is the easier route. With the abundance of resources, anyone can develop their own program or plan. However, for the revelation and the anointing of the Holy Ghost, we must go to God’s Word, and take time to be alone with God and His Word. We must bury our faces into the carpet on the floor and cry out to God with everything that is within us, fervently seeking God to send His fire among us to address the needs of a lost and dying world. God alone has the solution. Jesus Christ is the answer! Push Back Against The Darkness!

Your Light! by Myra Boozer

YOUR LIGHT...

Lord, I get lost without your light shining on my path.

I find I am alone and hopeless, fearful and afraid.

Your Light reveals my great need of you.

It warms my heart and fills my soul.

It opens my eyes and helps me see clearly.

It captures my interest and floods my mind.

It settles all my concerns and comforts my anxiety.

It rolls my cares right off my back.

It thrills my heart and causes me to rejoice.

It opens my mouth to sing your praise.

It drives me onward to face the new day

with peace, hope, and love.

So I mount up, as with eagle wings...

And I soar, Yes I Soar... Because of your great Light!

“The LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall

I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom

shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1

Allow His Light to invade your world. He will change

your heart and bring HOPE into your circumstance...

Make your deepest and darkest days filled with

the Light of His Resurrection Power...Revealing His

abundant love for you and your family...

There is a Light that forever shines...That Light brings

deliverance from all the darkness and sets you in a

position of high ascent...

You are no longer a slave to sin but adopted into

The Royal Family of God...forever and ever. Amen!
