Let God Arise! by Myra Boozer

Stay close to the Lord and receive His Favor.

Trust in Him and receive His Strength.

Long for Him and receive His Glory.

Walk with Him and receive His Power.

Ask of Him and receive His Wisdom.

Listen for Him and hear His voice.

Praise Him and He will give you a Song.

Humble yourself before Him and He will exalt you.

Wait on Him with good courage and He will strengthen your Heart.

Eat at His table and you shall be filled.

Delight yourself in Him and He will give you the desires of your Heart.

Submit yourself and He will wash you clean.

Give what you have and He will multiply it.

Sit at His feet and He will teach you.

Look to Him and He will show you great and mighty things.

Put your Hope in Him and you will not be disappointed.

Lift Him high and others will be drawn to Him.

Love righteousness and hate wickedness and He will anoint you with Gladness above others.

Remember Him and you will rejoice.

Let God Arise and his enemies will be scattered.

Call upon Him and He will answer you.

Seek Him and You will Find Him.

Release The Power Of God In You!

Opposition to the Truth, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is becoming increasingly more intense. As the Body of Christ, we are already experiencing Satanic attacks of greater intensity. It seems as though we are preparing for all hell to break loose. Only God knows what is ahead! However, He has promised to walk with us. Jesus said that He would never leave us or forsake us, Heb. 13:5, “...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” And, we want Him to walk with us wherever we go! But, how many of us will walk with Him wherever He goes? In the former, we seek God’s blessing on the path we have chosen. In the latter, we seek God’s leading and the path He has chosen. His blessings automatically follow. Sure, we want Him to walk with us but what would our lives look like if we follow Him to where He is going?

God made a similar promise to Joshua. Joshua 1:5, “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” God’s promise to Joshua is relevant for us today and provides a powerful example to those who would follow God to where He is going.

God had created the initiative to bring His people into this land of Canaan where they could worship and follow Him without the intrusion of the customs and religions of other nations. For 40 years they had been on this journey and now it was time for them to go in. It was God’s plan for Joshua to lead them in, however, Joshua had to decide to follow God where He was going. Joshua 1:2, “Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.”

Why did it take the children of Israel 40 years to get to Canaan? The obvious answer is that they just were not ready. God had to teach them, grow them, mature them. Many died on the journey! But, the core issue to all their problems was that they would not consent to let God do the leading. They would not follow God to where He was going! Their success or failure was based upon that very simple principle.

Are we so much different than they were? I submit to you today that we are not! Every need that exists among men can be addressed by the power of God’s presence. But we are forced to make the same decision that Joshua was confronted with. Are we willing to let God do the leading? Are we willing to go with God to where He is going? There lies the key to releasing the power of God in our lives! (continued)

Many Are Called But Few Are Chosen! by Myra Boozer

God is looking for an Army and many are satisfied to be Cheerleaders...Go God Go! Yes, Lord yes! You can do it, God! Or Go Pastor Go! You can do it, Pastor!

But God is saying to us “Go Mighty Army...Yes, Church Yes! You can do it Church! I left the work for you to accomplish...Get into my Word and the path will be clear. I didn't leave without giving you instructions and directions for the task at hand...The Harvest is Great, the time is short, the laborers are few and many are weak...Take strength in my Power...I alone am the Power Source... don't look to yourselves.”

Sing the Battle Song, sing it loud and strong! "Like a Mighty Army Moves the Church of God"... "Onward Christian Soldiers marching as to war With the cross of Jesus going on before..."

Arise take up your cross...only those in the heat of the Battle are God’s true Warriors. Don't be a traitor, don't lay your armor down. The enemy is too close, you will not be spared. Time is swiftly passing, the end is getting near. Those that slumber and sleep will be left behind. Awake Church! The Army of God has a destiny...an appointed end.

The Wedding Supper is already in the making, the halls are lined with banners and the Heavenly Host is getting in tune. The flowers are on the table and the candles are being lit, the music is swelling and the Bridegroom is ready, waiting for His Father to give the command, “Go and bring my children home.”

In my prayer time sometime back I asked the Lord, "When are you coming?” In my heart, I heard, "Coming soon...not yet...I am going to call all I have chosen.” Matthew 22:14, "For many are called but few are chosen.”

Extended reading... Matthew 6 and Luke 12

The Beginning Of Sorrows! Conclusion

God has already begun to pour out His judgment upon this world and the birthing pains have begun. In light of the scriptures in Matthew and Mark, we must conclude that the Holy Spirit is connecting “the beginning of sorrows” to the birthing process. The term “beginning of sorrows” is associated with childbirth and literally means the beginning of travail pangs. We can conclude that the judgment we are seeing and will see in the immediate future is a prelude to the culmination of the birthing process. This birth will bring forth a new Israel reborn, a new kingdom (the implementation of the literal Kingdom of God), and a new world (new heaven and earth).

Let us understand that God will preserve His Church, the Bride of Christ through all the unrest and destruction coming upon our world. He will equip and empower His Church to rise up in His Name and do great things even in the midst of darkness and evil. He will preserve the Church until she has completed her mission in the earth and then He will rapture her away. In both Matthew and Mark’s writing, the “beginning of sorrows” described by Jesus is the beginning of something much worse which is yet to come.

Mark 13:19, “For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. 20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.”

Matt. 24:21, “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”

The “beginning of sorrows” is the beginning of the birthing process which will culminate in the rebirth or restoration of Israel to a living relationship with God through their Messiah, Jesus Christ. But before they repent and return to God, Jesus says in the book of Matthew that “then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” This “great tribulation” will bring forth a new Israel reborn. The Lord will shorten this time of affliction for the elect’s (Israel) sake. Jesus will return at the second Advent defeating the Antichrist and his world system of government and religion. Jesus will establish a new kingdom in the earth (the implementation of the literal Kingdom of God) and a new world (new heaven and earth).

The birthing process has already begun and deliverance is at hand. The tribulation now and the great tribulation to come are but a prelude to the culmination of all things. Oh happy day for the child of God! Oh, the sorrow of those that neglect His call!

Matt. 24:42, “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

What's On Your Calendar? by Myra Boozer

For the Lord himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we EVER be with the Lord... Wherefore, COMFORT one another with these words,” 1Thessalonians 4:16-18.

For the Child of God, this should be on your Calendar! He is coming! We don't know when, but we know He is Coming. I do NOT regret the years I have lived my life with this anticipation. Even though He has not returned as of yet, it has made me who I am and has kept me more focused on what is eternal, instead of what is temporal. The word temporal means worldly, not spiritual, secular, of, or limited by time. (Webster's New Dictionary)

I believe the way we live our lives on a daily basis has such an influence on ALL the decisions we make and on our goals and expectations of life. If we are continually focused on our plans for today, if our life revolves around "us" and what we want, we will be grabbing for all that we can get not really thinking of the day we are living in and where we are on God's Calendar.

We then become addicted to THINGS. We are never fulfilled, never satisfied, always searching, always desiring "something" new, something different to fill our life. You see, this is a trick from all the way back to Eve and the "lust of the eye." It was just so appealing and she just had to have it. Also, the promise from the serpent was that it would make her like God. It inevitably brings its reward of spiritual death if not repented of. What’s On Your Calendar for the next few weeks or months? This thought might help us to re-evaluate where we are and where we're going!

The Beginning Of Sorrows!

Mark 13:5, “And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 7And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. 8For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.”

First, we must look at the context of these verses in relation to their immediate application. Christ was alluding to the immediate future when many of these circumstances would occur but also alluding to events that would occur at the end of the age. We can conclude that these scriptures were partially fulfilled when the Romans destroyed the Temple and Jerusalem in AD 70. The Jews were scattered to every corner of the world and only began to return to their homeland in 1948. Since that time, God has been bringing them home.

The tribulations and calamities which preceded and accompanied the overthrow of Israel at that time are a sign and warning of the great and universal woes which will bring in the great day of the Lord and the judgment of God. The reference alludes to the beginning of something much worse which is yet to come.

Ellicott's Commentary states that the words, “the beginning of sorrows” mean strictly, the beginning of travail pangs. Paul speaks of the whole creation as travailing in pain together. So a time of national suffering and perplexity is one in which the children come to birth. Romans 8:22, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.” The whole of creation is groaning in travail for the birth of a New Day. A day when sin and its destructive results will no longer affect God’s Kingdom, a kingdom in which the Son of Righteousness will reign for eternity. The lion will lie down with the lamb and the Glory of God will once again permeate all of God’s Creation! (continued)

Jesus Christ And Love Are Synonymous! by Myra Boozer

John 13:34, "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."

As Christians, should we be united in "Love" or in Christ Jesus? You may say well, "God is Love." But love is elusive apart from the love of God in His Son Jesus. True love comes from God. But the love the "world" knows is tolerance (to put up with)...This is not God's love. God's love is Jesus in the fact that He gave His only begotten Son to die for this world. This is true love. If the world doesn’t receive Jesus it does not receive love. Tolerance and love are two different things. We are to live in His love, walk in His love, speak in His love and rejoice in His love, then we can also die in His love...Tolerance will only take you so far but the Love of Jesus will take you to the end.

God, open the heavens and reveal your love to us. When you do, the world will see none other than JESUS...Jesus the Saviour of the world, the Bright and Morning Star, the Rose of Sharon, the Beginning and the End.

Don't settle for a form of love or a counterfeit of love...It will fade, it will pass, it will not endure. There is NO substitute for Jesus no matter how hard anyone may try to convince you. Do not be deceived!!!. This love the world is talking about right now is NOT Jesus but a false Jesus, a facade( the way something appears to be not necessarily what it is). Rise up Church and show Christ to the world for they have lost vision of Him...They only see what they want to see and it is tolerance of one another not the love of Jesus.

There is NO unity for us without the "Head of Unity," the originator of unity. The God of Peace will come when the "Gift" JESUS, that He gave to the world over 2000 years ago, is received.

Rejoice and be glad for your Redeemer lives. He is about to reveal himself to this world, when He steps out on the clouds in the Eastern sky, with the sound of the trumpet...Rejoice and again I say rejoice…

God Loves You!

John 3:14, “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

Our frail human mind is incapable of fully comprehending the magnitude of God’s love for us. How can someone who we have not known previously be willing to sacrifice His only Son for our benefit? Romans 5:6, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.”

When we did not realize how wretched, vile, reprobate, and lost we were, God had planned for our total and complete deliverance! Through the precious blood offering of His Son Jesus, the pure and spotless Lamb of God, the penalty for sin was paid. When barely for a righteous man and possibly for a good man some would dare to die, God loved us when we were still sinners. Christ died for us and we are justified by His blood. We are saved from the wrath of God as we look to the cross and believe. When the sin in us made us enemies of God we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son. We have now received life through the atonement for our sin by Christ Jesus. He died and rose again to provide our deliverance, to free us from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment.

God’s desire is for all men everywhere to be saved. 1 Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all...” God has prepared the way through the gift of His only Son. The penalty for sin has been paid. All one needs to do is repent of his sins and accept the Lordship of Christ in his life. God Loves You!

If you are tired of what sin has done to your life and want to be FREE from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment, Pray this prayer with me! “Lord Jesus Christ, Thank You for paying my penalty for sin. I believe You gave Your life to ransom my life. I believe You died on the cross but You rose victorious over death, hell, and the grave on the third day just as You had promised. I’m tired of my life of sin. From this moment forward, I give my life to You. You paid the ransom for my sin. I belong to You. Use me for Your honor and glory, and give me an eternal home with You in heaven. Thank You for Loving me! Amen!”

No Longer A Slave To Sin! by Myra Boozer

When God changes you, accept the FACT that you have been changed, not of yourself, but by His Transforming Power. You must have your mind made up to never go back to your old ways of foolish habits and careless living. They only lead you back down the same ole path reaping the same ole results, and in the end, it is spiritual DEATH.

Listen to God as he speaks to your heart. Arise and be strong! Walk in the newness of life, free from the bondage of sin and evil. Never offer a half-hearted life to Christ. He requires ALL or nothing. When you give Him your ALL, make sure there are no hidden rooms in your heart with "NO TRESPASSING" signs hung on the doors. Begin your life with Him open and honest (He knows it already). Give him the key to every area of your heart. This commitment will help produce a strong desire of "NO TURNING BACK" to the old life of sin and regrets.

You will wake up in a brand new world with a new attitude about life and living. You have been bought with a price greater than the riches of heaven. The rags of sin won't belong to a child of the King. You are royal now and you will be clothed in royalty. Just as the King's daughter is glorious within, so are you (Ps. 45). When you come into his palace, you will come with gladness and rejoicing because of the favor that God has placed on your new life in HIM. When you know who you are, the son or daughter of the MOST HIGH GOD, your status changes. You walk, talk and live in a brand new world. The old things are passed away. When you love righteousness and hate wickedness, you're anointed with the oil of gladness. You see things through different eyes. Where you once lived in doubt and dread, you now live in faith and trust.

When Satan comes knocking on your door telling you nothing changed when God forgave you and gave you a new wardrobe (spiritual robe), tell him he came too late. Because you now see him for who he is, the great deceiver. Tell him you have a new Lord and Master, Jesus Christ. Tell him you have been washed by the blood of the lamb and you are no longer a slave to sin.

Be blessed with the Mercy and Love of God...Acts 10:15, "Don't call something unclean if God has made it clean," NLT. You are a new creature! Walk in that newness! No Longer A Slave To Sin!

Put On The Whole Armor Of God! Conclusion

Eph. 6:10, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Many who once stood for Biblical principles and righteous living avoid confronting the societal pressures of our day. The progressive thinkers in our society demand that the Church embrace all people, all lifestyles, and all manner of behavior. In so doing they are removing their covering of Holiness, Divine protection, and Divine intervention. They no longer wear the whole armor of God.

These so-called Christians stand naked before God and in this present spiritual battle. The assets that Jesus gave for the victory of the Body of Christ are no longer available to them. Why? They have stripped away their covering, no longer desiring to be identified with Christ's teaching that the Church is to be separate from the world. 2 Cor. 6:17, “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.” They have removed their covering and therefore, they stand powerless in the face of overwhelming darkness.

But not all churches or individuals have given up their role in the Body of Christ. There is a remnant of true believers who are seeking God's intervention into the affairs of men. God is answering their prayers. God is moving where believers are submissive and obedient. They access and God delivers the “dunamis” of Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” That is Christ's promise!

The army of Christ is rising up. Rising up in the covering of Jesus Christ. That covering is the manifest presence of Christ in the Holy Ghost. If you have received since you believed, you carry the covering of Christ. I feel the urging of the Holy Spirit calling upon the Body of Christ to rise up in the power of that covering and do His work. What is that work? To preach the gospel for the salvation of souls. If we will accept His commission, we have His promise! The gates of hell cannot prevail against the Body of Christ. Why? Because we are secure in Christ's covering! We are dressed in God’s Armor and filled with His Holy Spirit!

Signs Of The Times! by Myra Boozer

One of the greatest signs we have in this day concerning the End Times is the evil and corrupt spirit that prevails in our world. It is so unified in setting up this new world order. An order without decency, truth, and justice. One filled with deceit and hypocrisy. Closer to the end it will be where only those who deny God and His ways will be accepted by this world system.

This system is being fueled by selfish individuals who want nothing to do with Truth or Righteousness. They are all about controlling and promoting what they think is acceptable. They want to make all the calls and say what is offensive to them. They don't want any part of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit or any person who professes Christ.

They don't want to retain God in their minds. So as a Christian, just your existence reminds them of who THEY actually are. They are made aware that God IS, and they will be judged unholy and unrighteous in His sight because of their choices unless they REPENT.

" Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin," Isaiah 30:1.

Jesus wants to be their Savior today. But He will definitely be their Judge one day. I Samuel 15:23, "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry." God have Mercy on this world. Truly, Signs Of The Times!

Put On The Whole Armor Of God!

Eph. 6:10, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

As I read this text, I am reminded of a passage in 1 Samuel 17. The armies of Israel were engaged in a conflict with the Philistines. The Philistines had presented a challenge for Israel to face their champion. It was no coincidence that a young shepherd boy by the name of David was present that day. The heart of this young lad was stirred that this infidel would challenge the army of the God of Israel. David went to King Saul and told him that he would face this giant Goliath. Saul insisted that David be dressed in the king’s armor but it did not fit him. And David had not proven the armor. David entered the plain of battle with only what he trusted. He had his sling, five smooth stones, and unshakable faith in his God. David was the victor and Israel was delivered because of his unwavering faith. He was dressed in the armor of God!

We are engaged in a great spiritual war. We are not fighting flesh and blood but against spirits and against the very ruler of the darkness of this world. Eph. 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:”

Saul’s armor was not beneficial to David. He chose rather to put his faith in the awesome power of God. We must choose to follow the example set by David. Far too many are trusting in man-made theology and man-made plans. We must have the anointing and covering of God to meet our enemy and be victorious in this conflict. Anything less than total surrender to the plan of God will certainly ensure defeat. (continued)

Are You Hiding In The Locker Room? by Myra Boozer

There was a time when the evidence of what you stood for wasn't as well known as it is becoming today. If you are in doubt of who you are and who you really stand for, I guess you just hide in the locker room. NO THAT WON'T WORK! Remember in not choosing "you choose." You’ve made the decision at that point.

As a Christian, you need to come out of hiding and give an answer to the world about what you STAND for. They are watching and waiting, looking for your response!

I have noticed that some, like Peter of old, don't want to be recognized as "one of them" and some are hiding out hoping that God will not see their lack of allegiance to HIM. They are so-called "secret Christians" which is an oxymoron. When you become a Christian you're changed and people will know you are changed. If you hide it or camouflage it, then you are ashamed of the Lord. If you are ashamed of Him, He will be ashamed of you. Luke 9:26, “For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory…” I think that hiding your LOVE and RESPECT for GOD among the people you associate with is totally "Denying Christ."

But, if you KNOW who you are and you know who you Love and Respect, you have NO problem coming out of the locker room and standing tall in front of the whole world...no matter the consequences from your associates.

Do you remember what Adam and Eve did AFTER they disobeyed God and followed the leading of the serpent? They hid themselves from God. They broke the spiritual relationship they had with their creator and constant companion...causing themselves much pain and sorrow. They died spiritually! That is much worse than physical death.

Our world is on an hourly downward slope. It will not be as easy as it has been in the past to say "I AM A CHRISTIAN, and I will NOT DISRESPECT MY GOD. I WILL STAND TALL and be counted among CHRISTIANS." You must make some SERIOUS decisions today. You must see the line drawn in the sand. It is time to know who's side you're on. Only two sides, God or Satan! Good or evil! Only two choices. It is really simple and time is counting down to the end.

Time to come out of the locker room if you're hiding? We are either for or against…

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth," Romans 1:16a.

Satan Is Already Defeated! Conclusion

Satan is caught in the trap of his own deceit which separates him from the reality of God's plan. The reality begins at the cross. The reality is that the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin and delivers us from the power of sin. 1 John 1:7, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” Romans 8:2, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Therefore the blood of Jesus delivers us from the power of Satan's influence over this mortal body.

The reality is that the tomb could not hold Him. He is risen, exercising the power of God over death, hell, and the grave. He gives us the hope of eternal life. The reality is that He ascended to the Father but He did not leave us powerless but promised the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” The reality is that He has given us power and authority to go into the Devil's house and take back what he has stolen from us. He is a thief and comes to kill, steal and destroy but Jesus has overcome him and so can we!

The reality is that Jesus is coming again and soon. Matt. 28:11, “Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”

God’s Promise for the Believer: 1Thess. 4:16, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

God’s Promise for the Deceiver: Revelation 20:10, “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” Satan Is Already Defeated!

Satan Will Oppose You! by Myra Boozer

Opposition to lives which are yielded to Jesus Christ takes many forms, some dramatic, some subtle. Satan is a clever angel of light but sometimes he chooses supernatural ways to frighten us into inactivity. During a time at camp with the girls, I was singing outside of the cabin after lights-out. The song had the words: ‘Don't be afraid for whatever is coming, your heavenly Father takes care of you.’ Suddenly I heard horrible noises around me. It seemed as if among the trees some sort of beings were trying to make me stop. The noises grew and subsided, sending shivers through my body with their weird tones. While I sang, I pleaded with the Lord: ‘Cover me and protect me with Your blood, Lord Jesus...give me strength to go on singing and speak through me to reach all these girls.’ The noises remained and got louder and more ugly, but I didn't stop. I knew that I stood on the front line of battle but through Jesus, it was victory ground, not defeat or retreat. As soon as I finished the song, the noise stopped, just as abruptly as it began. I went to bed and thanked the Lord for His victory. The next morning I asked the girls if they had heard anything unusual the previous night. They answered that they had never heard me sing so beautifully. Nobody heard anything else.” This is taken from Corrie ten Boom's book IN MY FATHERS HOUSE...

My question is what is trying to stop you today? Don't let the troubles, trials, or tribulations of this life or anything that Satan would throw in your path stop you from singing the Praises of our Lord. Sing loud and with all your might! Don't give up, we are almost HOME.

Jesus said in this life we would have these troubles but to not be alarmed because He overcame and so will we through His power that works in us. As we get closer to the return of the Lord the noise will become louder and louder from the opposition. It is time to arise and stand in the face of the enemy. The world's tactics (or armor) will not fit the Christian. Just like Saul's armor did not fit David, the shepherd boy. It will take the leading, the direction, and the power of the Holy Spirit to defeat the enemy of our day just like it did in David's day.

We must remember these words as we go out to defeat our giants...”No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD,” Isaiah 54:17. NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER...I GO IN THE NAME OF THE LORD GOD JEHOVAH…

Satan Is Already Defeated!

Philippians 2:8, “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

There is a time in the near future when all creation will bow at the feet of Jesus Christ and declare true reverence to Him. Jesus, the Son of God, humbled Himself to a degrading death on a Roman cross. In doing so, He became the eternal sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. His blood was poured out for the Victory of every believer. Through the power of His resurrection and triumph over death, hell, and the grave, Jesus has brought LIFE to all who will believe.

By the same triumphant act, He has sealed the doom of every entity that stands in opposition to God’s plan for all mankind. “...Of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth,” all will bow in humble, submissive, reverence to Jesus Christ as the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. This ultimately will happen at the END, the CONSUMMATION of all things.

However, Satan is already defeated! He just hasn’t conceded his loss! Jesus has empowered the Body of Christ to bring to fruition the domain of His miraculous power. The Lord Jesus Christ wants to reveal the awesomeness of His miraculous power in and through the Body. He wants to use the Body of Christ to march into Satan's house, the very seat and throne of his rule, and rescue perishing souls.

Satan has believed his own lies. He is the father of lies. He exists in the domain of lies and deceit. He cannot discern where the lie ends and reality begins. He thought he could defeat Jesus in the wilderness of temptation. He thought he could defeat Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane. He thought he had defeated Jesus on the cross. He thought he had defeated Jesus when they sealed Him in the tomb. But what Satan failed to remember was that all this was according to prophecy and God's plan. Jesus brought us to the apex of spiritual victory when He walked out of that tomb! That was God's plan! Satan Is Already Defeated! (continued)

Your Love Lord! by Myra Boozer

YOUR LOVE LORD...

Is so high my mind can't reach it...

My thoughts can't think it...

My heart can't conceive it...

And my words can't express it...

YOUR LOVE LORD...

Is like the ocean, it covers more than I can see...

Like the sky, it keeps on going...

Like the rivers, it keeps on flowing...

Like the trees, it keeps on reaching...

And the flowers, it keeps on growing...

YOUR LOVE LORD...

It finds me where I am...

It hovers over me like a light...

It forces me to smile even in the saddest times...

It lifts me above the sorrows...

And gives me hope for tomorrow...

YOUR LOVE LORD...is all I need!

Replacing God's Plan! Conclusion

The external, dark forces in our world are pressing in upon the boundaries of holiness and righteousness which are so firmly established in God's Holy Word. We must push back and stop this intrusion. 1 Peter 4:17, “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” We need the correction of the Word by the Holy Spirit. This correction must begin at the “house of God.” This text indicates an examination by the Word and Spirit in the household of faith, the family of God.

The Bride of Christ will be presented to Him as chaste, pure, undefiled, and without spot or wrinkle. One role of the Holy Spirit is to illuminate the darkness and remove the covering for sin. The covering for sin is the absence of Truth. The Word of Truth illuminated by the Spirit of Truth will set the souls of men free to walk in the liberty which only God can give.

The promise of Christ is that as the Gospel goes forth, it is accompanied by His power and authority. When religious men compromise the Word of God, they fail to walk in the authority of Christ, therefore, there is no power. If there is no power in the message, ask by whose authority the message has come. Is this my message or the message from the heart of God? It must be God’s message or we are Replacing The Plan Of God with our plan of flesh!

Revelation 22:18, “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Are you Replacing God’s Plan with your own plan?

God Is My Refuge! by Myra Boozer

"A lot of people have these little retreat places they go to when they need a break from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. Some just can't wait to go to the beach. Others will head to the mountains. Still, others will spend time in theme parks and other places of interest. But, me? I love to just find a quiet place with my Lord! It can be in the early morning when the sun is coming up, or the late hours of the night when everyone else is sleeping. I can go outside to the porch swing, or sit in my recliner. I can travel to the mountains or sit on the bank of a lake or river. When I need to get away, I go to my refuge...” by Pastor David L. Browder

Psalms 91:2, " I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust."

"God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him." The things of this world can fade away like a fog that lifts off the valley. I believe that we find a new perspective about life, love, and our relationship with others, especially God. He fills our every longing and desire. We are no longer pushed or pressured into needing anything except Him and His presence. It is no longer about me and what I must attain or receive from this world. God becomes my focus! He brings my life to the fullest. My heart can sing in the midst of chaos because I know He is more than enough for today and tomorrow...God Is My Refuge!

Replacing God's Plan!

Jude 1:3-4

Jude wrote to identify the apostasy that had crept into the Church in his day. There were false teachers presenting Gnostic beliefs as truth. They believed and taught the emancipation of the spirit while their flesh could do anything it liked and as a result, they were guilty of all kinds of lawlessness. Vs. 4, For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Lasciviousness is defined by the Greek word “aselgia” which means: wantonness, lewdness, sensual. HelpWord studies define it as “violent spite which rejects restraint and indulges in lawless insolence, shameless and defiant, contemptuous expressing deep hatred or disapproval.” The use of this word indicates contempt for and revolt against the plan of God. We can conclude from this text that carnal men have chosen to reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ and replace it with their own carnal theology.

Jude was also writing to warn future generations to guard against false doctrine. The departure from the “faith” began some time ago. What we are seeing now is the result of rejecting God’s plan and authority. We can conclude that this apostasy, defection, revolt is taking place right before our eyes. We can also conclude that as this falling away takes place, we can know that “the day of Christ,” “the day of the Lord” is at hand. See 2 Thess. 2:1-3.

God’s judgment is upon us because of man’s sinful revolt against His influence in our daily lives. One reason for this impending judgment is the apostasy that has crept into our churches. The ideals of a carnal theology have infiltrated the pulpit and replaced the faith that was once delivered to the saints.

Sin and apostasy must be identified and addressed. Our church leaders are obligated to seek for and teach the Truth. We are bound by our covenant and calling by the Lord Jesus Christ to preach and teach His Gospel. Today, we stand at the door of Christ’s return. Our task is to prepare for the appearing of the Son of God, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. Our challenge is to make ready the bride to be united with the bridegroom. Treasures Of The Heart! by Myra Boozer

Proverbs 2:1, “My son, (or daughter) if you will receive my words and treasure my commandments within you, 2 Make your ear attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding; 3 For if you cry for discernment, lift your voice for understanding; 4 If you seek her as silver and search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will discern the fear of the LORD and discover the knowledge of God.” NASB

The things that I love and hold dear to my heart are just borrowed they're not mine at all... Jesus only let me use them to brighten my life...So remind me, remind me, dear Lord. The words of an old song hold true today. I have loved and held many things close to my heart. I have had so many blessings and material goods. No, I am not wealthy compared to some. But compared to others, I am. I have had my share of the comforts of life, not extravagant things but enjoyable things. Some have been very useful and some just pretty to look at and some just plain and simple little treasures. But, things are just that, they are “Things.” Things can be replaced if lost or stolen. They are disposable and transferable. They are things.

Sometimes things get in the way of what is important. They can become too meaningful and take our time and energy away from what really counts. I am learning to lay them down. Day by day they are losing their value to me. I have been letting them go from my heart for some time now because I will not take them with me. They have served their purpose thus far and I am very thankful for all I have been given to enjoy along the way.

I have always tried to keep my head straight as to how I spend our money. I have tried to be saving and practical, you know the bargain hunter kind of person. But even at a bargain, the “things” you have can become a part of you. You become familiar with them and they sometimes become “treasures.” They may not be worth much to anyone else but you. They are special to you.

Well, I have had lots of those special things hidden away in old hat boxes or the dresser drawers and in closets, even under the beds. Things I have saved from our only little boy, baby clothes, little cars, and things he saved thru the years. Things that make you smile, like a costume I made him for his 1st-grade play, pictures he drew of his house, family, and the neighbor's dog. The dog stayed at our house because he loved it so much. You know “treasures” that I don’t plan on throwing out but my heart is letting go.

I think I understand the purpose is for letting go. It isn’t wrong to have things but it is wrong for things to have us. When what we have and what we do is all about things and we just want to live on and on so we can secure and protect our treasures, we need to release them. There are no U-hauls going to heaven. I don’t want the tears that are wiped away from my eyes to be about the “things” I have accumulated. I will leave all that behind.

1 John 2:15, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world...” I am letting go! The greatest treasures I have are My precious Family, My Relationship with the Lord, and My Understanding of His Word. I celebrate the fact that He died, that I might live and that has nothing to do with “things.” That is my greatest treasure! And, that my friend, I must hold on to forever and NEVER LET GO. “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also,” Matt. 6:21.

The Dreams Of My Life Refocused!

Matthew 16:26, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”

(I wrote this some time ago on a wet, dreary day, inspired by a little gray squirrel). As I sit looking out my window, I observe nature at work in my world. The rain is falling at a steady pace and a gray squirrel is running from place to place appearing to be searching for food he has stored. His work must continue whether sunshine or rain. No matter what the weather or circumstance each day brings the same responsibility and need for provision and survival.

We have a lot in common with my little squirrel. We rush at a hurried pace from place to place searching for whatever we perceive to be the needs of life. And we do that for the entirety of our lives. We rush through our childhood wishing that we were older so we can participate in the games of life. Whether it is to attain the age of 13 to be a teenager, or 16 to get a driver's license, on we go experiencing the magic of age, graduating high school and maybe college.

We hurry through those magical years thinking that by “obtaining” our lives will be fulfilled. We find a mate, get married and start a family. We are so very busy learning how to be a companion, parent, and provider, thinking that life will slow down at some point and we can begin to enjoy who we are and what we do. So, we rush through the early family years thinking that when the children get older, or we land that perfect job or we achieve this or that all will be “better” and we can slow down and enjoy the life we have created.

And, before you know it the children are all grown up, have chosen mates, and have started families of their own. Then we rush through the grandparent years helping our children and grandchildren to do the same as we have done. We are rushing through time achieving, thinking all along this journey that at some point we are going to slow down and enjoy the life we have created for ourselves and our families. However, We must plan for the present with the end in view. (continued)

I Run To Jesus! by Myra Boozer

When my heart can't find direction and my thoughts are running wild, I run to my Savior and I began to cry. He dries my tears with hands of mercy and looks into my eyes. He knows my burdens and that my tears are for those for whom He died. I tell Him all my secrets and allow Him to mend my wounds. I tell Him how my heart breaks for those that I hold dear, for those who once loved Him but walked away and left Him far behind, for those who are now lonely and feeling exhausted by this life. I call out to Him and ask that He would speak softly, just call out their name. Help them to see there is a better way! Help them to see you Lord, the person that you are, the Son of God and Redeemer of this world!

Lord, would You send someone to talk to them, someone they will listen to? Maybe a neighbor, a friend, or a stranger...Someone who would remind them of the treasure they once had and cause them to quickly turn and run to You...because You will be running to them with open arms of mercy, forgiveness, and New Life. You have not forgotten them! You love them still the same! On the cross, You died for all who will call upon Your Name. I Run To Jesus!

Covered!

2 Chronicles 7:1, “Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.”

We pray for and sincerely desire that the glory of God rest upon His House. You are His house. Ephesians 2:22, “In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Solomon had prepared the House for God's habitation and invited God to live there. 2 Chronicles 6:41, “Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place,..” He spared no expense. The people gave freely and abundantly. The edifice that was created was a tribute to the glory of God and the love of His people.

Let us prepare this house for the manifest presence of God. Allow the blood of Jesus to wash it clean and make it holy and acceptable to God. Romans 12:1, “...that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Invite Christ to live in this house and display His character through you. Give up and submit complete control to the influence of the Holy Spirit. Follow Him as He leads and directs. The result is a life lived to the glory of God and manifested love for Him.

God's promise to Solomon was, “...I have chosen this place to myself for a house of sacrifice,” 2 Chronicles 7:12. If it doesn't rain...if the locusts devour your crops or pestilence comes...if you will pray, humble yourselves and turn from YOUR way (rebellion), then I will hear you from heaven and will forgive and heal because I see you and hear your prayers. Regardless of what you may face tomorrow, God will walk you through it if you trust Him. Psalm 121:8, “The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” God watches over everything you do all the time, in every circumstance, and forever. You are “covered” by the abiding presence of the Lord. Blessed be the Name of the Lord.

Who Will Listen? by Myra Boozer

Who will listen to the still small voice when He speaks. It won't be the excitable, giddy one who is inflated with self-conceit. Being bound up in pride with an arrogant spirit leaves no room for listening.

It won't be the one who can't be reasoned with because they are stubborn and stuck without understanding, unable to concede.

It won't be the fearful for it takes courage to receive instruction.

It won't be someone who doesn't welcome change for God is an advocate for change in its most deliberate form.

It won't be someone who refuses to forgive, for the speaker is the Father of Forgiveness and He requires it.

It won't be someone who ignores the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is the very unction to hear the still small voice.

It won't be someone who doesn't understand trust, because God is all about our leaning on Him.

So Who Will Listen? I think it is the one who is DESPERATE...The one calling out to God for HELP in their Brokenness, the DESTITUTE person who has forsaken all to find God. All else has failed and they are searching for answers from someone higher than themselves. If that is YOU, there is HOPE! God will speak to your HEART when you listen with your HEART...Who Will Listen? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBnIKFd6nI4

Lord Jesus, We Are Desperate For You!

Lord Jesus Christ, we, the Body of Christ, need You today in a most desperate way. We need You to unlock our consciousness and pour into us Your inspiration and revelation. Lord, take charge of Your Church and fulfill Your mission in us!

Lord, I desperately need You! I so desire to hear Your consoling words and have them take root in my heart. Come, Lord Jesus, and raise this mortal soul into Your heavenly realm. Just give me a glimpse, I pray, of what is before us. I do not question Your ways but submit totally to Your leading. Help me to walk in unreserved obedience and baptize me afresh in Your love and compassion. Almighty God, seize my soul in Your embrace to walk in intimate relationship and companionship. Bear me up on Your wings. Empower me to soar above this world and all its problems. Help me to see only what You desire to reveal.

Lord, I hunger and thirst for Your constant presence in my life. It is not sufficient to only meet with You on religious occasions. I must know that I am going where You are going, doing what You are doing, and a part of Your grand endeavors in and through the Body of Christ. Take me, take me now where it is just You and me. Put within me all that I need to complete our journey here! In Jesus’ name! Amen. We Are Desperate For You!

Unwise To Justify The Wicked! Conclusion by Myra Boozer

When we declare the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ as being "Our Lord" that means He is Lord over everything, every thought, every decision, and every relationship. It means what God does not condone, we can't either. We have a great responsibility to others to speak Truth and live Truth.

We are responsible to train our children and stand against all the evil that is being thrown at them through our culture. It is not for us to allow the world and ungodly people to dictate to them what Truth is or what is acceptable. We cannot tell them it is okay to live like the world and participate in every ungodly activity that society has conceived. We cannot allow them to be seduced by the perversion of evil people who are only concerned about their evil ideas.

When we become politically correct and tolerate the sickened agenda that "Hollywood " is portraying even to little children, we have fallen short of the mandate that God set for those who call Him Lord. Little minds and little hearts are being so abused by society thru the media. We may wonder when this will stop? Will we ever be normal again? I don't think so, only worse because too many have been tolerant of immodest fashion, disorderly conduct, and even attitudes of "however I want to live is okay because society accepts it."

Many have failed to teach that wrong exists, that bad exists, and that unacceptable exists. We must tell them we are not to justify and condone every lifestyle. Many Christian leaders are not addressing the problems that we are facing in this generation, because tolerance has slipped into many churches. Many Christians want to be accepted and listened too so they walk on eggshells and speak the acceptable message that makes people feel good instead of telling them the Truth. We must not remain silent, fearing isolation and rejection by society and even some churches because we do not justify (free from blame or guilt) those who do wickedly. "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death," Proverbs 14:12 KJV.

Jesus Christ is our hope! He is the remedy for all sin. He leads and guides us day by day when we live by His Word. Oh, His Grace is sufficient to hold us and to heal our broken hearts when those we love are more influenced by the world than they are by us. We must never give up! We must keep praying and proclaiming the Word of God for it is life unto salvation.

"But ye beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some having compassion, making a difference: and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To the only WISE God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen," Jude 20-25. This scripture is powerful and covers what we need to do.

Build Up The Breach! Conclusion

Isaiah 58:12, “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.”

According to George Barna, following Sept. 11, 2001, “churches succeeded at putting on a friendly face but failed at motivating the vast majority of spiritual explorers to connect with Christ in a more intimate or intense manner.” Within a few weeks, we went back to the way we were before that horrible and tragic event. There was no appreciable change in the life of the average US citizen but the landscape of this country and the world were changed forever.

I am compelled by the Spirit to ponder what would have happened after 9/11 if we had stayed on our knees in prevailing prayer seeking for the divine intervention we so desperately need? Would circumstances be any different than they are today? Only God knows for sure but the Word of God advocates for the idea that man controls his own destiny. Our obedience to God's leading determines the outcome. As individuals and governments, we will determine our future. Yes, prophecies will be fulfilled as written and the end will come just as prophesied, but we will determine the role we play by our obedience to God or lack thereof.

We are fighting against the ruler of the darkness of this world. Satan is behind all this chaos. He is the enemy, and his goal is to destroy the soul and body of all men. But the army of Jesus Christ must rise up against him. How you may ask? We must have the direction of the Lord Jesus Christ. He has empowered His Body to fulfill His ministry in this world. We need the Holy Spirit to give us His instructions to combat the enemy. Human resolve and determination alone cannot win this war. We must have the Holy Spirit to help us understand the enemy, connect with God's plan and empower us to complete His mission. That will lead us to VICTORY! We are Building Up The Breach!

Unwise To Justify The Wicked! Part 2 by Myra Boozer

There is a strong attitude that seems to prevail in our world today. If you love me, you will condone my lifestyle. You must accept me the way I have chosen to live and if you don't, I just might do something that you will regret. This is such a horrible attitude. It originates in the pit of Hell and came from Satan himself.

We are living in a time of great confusion and deception. Many are falling for the lie and deception that however they want to live is acceptable and should be celebrated by all the world. God’s Word declares that to be wrong! We have been given the rules for our lives in the Word of God. God is our creator and our sustainer, the one who gives us the breath we breathe. He also holds the keys to life and death and no man can change that! He is God and what He says is the way it is without argument.

Mark 12:29, “And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."

There is only One God and He is the one we should love, honor and respect. He has given us the guidelines and boundaries for our lives. When we go against God’s standard, we are asking for trouble. God is patient but His Word declares what we sow we will reap! Yes, we are to love our neighbor as our self. But, not to the degree that we would justify any sin or disobedience to God's Word. Loving another person does not mean that you are to accept and justify their ways. It means when you really love them you will tell them the truth and stand against sin and ungodly living.

Proverbs 30:11, “There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother. 12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. 13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up. 14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men." (continued)

Build Up The Breach!

Isaiah 58:12, “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.” Read also Isaiah 58:1-14.

Repent and return to the Lord were absolutes in the salvation of Israel and God's invitation to all humanity is the same today. Once again the world is afforded another opportunity to evaluate where we are in the scope of eternity. We cannot allow the events of the past few months to pass us by without serious introspection.

In the wake of the attack on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, the American resolve was to seek out those responsible and to attend to the loss and healing of the nation. The lesson that we should have learned is that human tragedy cannot be resolved by physical strength and determination alone. Our failures as a civilization are most generally connected to our deep-seated spiritual inadequacies. When men have a right relationship with their Creator all other relations will follow the same path.

These United States as a people had the opportunity after 9/11 to become a light to the world. For a brief moment, we thought that an awakening was in process, that we the people would be enlightened to serve our true place and purpose in the world. For a short time people went to their knees in prayer, church attendance increased and the name of Jesus and God were invoked in the public arena.

Gerald Zelizer cited a report by George Barna in Jan. 2002. "After the attack, millions of nominally churched or generally irreligious Americans were desperately seeking something that would restore stability and a sense of meaning to life. Fortunately, many of them turned to the church. Unfortunately, churches succeeded at putting on a friendly face but failed at motivating the vast majority of spiritual explorers to connect with Christ in a more intimate or intense manner." Unwise To Justify The Wicked! by Myra Boozer

"He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord," Proverbs 17:15.

It seems that sin is being accepted more than ever. Many are no longer ashamed of their error, their mistakes, or their sin. When this happens, many feel justified and they stay on the same path of destruction. They are telling themselves, "I have done no wickedness" especially when they aren't held accountable for their wrongdoings by those around them.

The Lord God is not pleased with those who JUSTIFY the wicked nor those that condemn the righteous. In this verse, they are put in the same category. They are both called an abomination. That word means to hate, to loathe. Yet, people want to say God is not angry with me! I believe this scripture proves that statement to be wrong. "But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and FIERY INDIGNATION, which shall devour the adversaries," Hebrews 10:27. Adversaries are the enemies of God. He is definitely angry with SIN. "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God," Hebrews 10:31.

Who is speaking against sin? Who is warning? Where is the fear of the Lord? Who is lifting up the standard of righteousness? Who is standing in the Gap? Who is proclaiming the year of the Lord? Who is speaking TRUTH to this perverse generation? Who is declaring the WORD of the Lord in the face of the wicked? "He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him: But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them." Proverbs 24:24-25

I believe God is merciful, gracious, and so patient with mankind. He loves YOU! However, He does not condone SIN! He loves you more than that. He loves you so much that He will send His Holy Spirit to convict you of your error, your mistakes, your willful sin. It doesn't matter who justifies you, friends or family. When God says it is sin, it is sin and it will separate you from God. "My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth," Hebrews 12:5-6.

The Scripture goes on to say If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons. But if you be without chastening then you are not sons. It is your choice to receive correction or not. Ask God to send the Holy Spirit to convict and convince you of the sin that has beset you. The sin that maybe is accepted and even celebrated by the world. Only God is the true judge of all sin. "Let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire," Hebrews 12; 28b-29. It is Unwise To Justify The Wicked. (continued)

Put In The Sickle For The Harvest Is Ripe!

Joel 3:13, “Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.”

In this chapter Joel deals with the Judgments of God upon the wicked and disobedient. He addresses specifically God’s judgment upon the Gentile world for their treatment of Israel. Also, he addresses in a more general sense God’s judgment upon all wickedness and disobedience.

Joel 3:2, “I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.” Here Joel identifies a specific place of God’s judgment, the valley of Jehoshaphat (which means “Yahweh judges”). It is probable that his reference is to the campaign of Armageddon which he addresses in detail in verses 9-17. In verse 13 he describes the harvest of the wicked and their resulting end in the same way one would describe the harvest of grapes used to fill the wine presses. The wicked are a harvest ripe for judgment. This is an ominous prophecy portraying the inescapable wages of the wicked.

As I think on the dreadful future of lost mankind, my heart is heavy with the task of reaching them with the Good News of salvation in Christ Jesus. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to the present human condition. All men must hear the message of redemption and freedom in Christ. Jesus left the responsibility of delivering this message to the Church. The Body of Christ is commissioned to carry the message into all the world.

The lives of lost humanity are in our hands. Who will speak light in the midst of such gross darkness? Who will offer deliverance to these miserable souls? Who will go for Christ? Isaiah 6:8, “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Let us go for the Harvest Of The Wicked!

God Wants Your Commitment! by Myra Boozer

Many people turn to God when they have serious troubles and trials. They need help!...so they go to church, say their prayers but only for a short time. They turn back to their old ways until the next time when they just can't handle their problems any longer. Over and over they do this. So Sad! They just don't understand!

God is not a "pie in the sky" kind of God. He wants us to love Him for who He is not for what He can do for us in time of need alone. He is not an on and off God. He is a full-time God and wants a full-time relationship with His Children.

Today is not the time to forget God! The battle is raging and it is so dangerous to be out in the cold without your covering. God wants to shield you and keep you from all harm and danger of the enemy that is out to steal, kill and destroy. Satan is sneaky and will come at you in many different forms...sometimes as an Angel of Light. Don't be deceived by him! Run to God today and find Him to be your answer. He is waiting with open arms, longing for you to make a commitment to Him. Stay the course, don't run away. "We love Him because He first loved us," I John 4:19. God Wants Your Commitment!

Prepare For The Conflict Of Prayer!

Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for holding us close and loving us beyond our human ability to measure. Thank you for your renewed strength. We mount up on wings of eagles. We run but do not become weary. We walk but do not faint. Lord, let us walk with you today. Let us continue in your awesome presence. Help us to stay the course, push forward, dare to enter the enemy's camp, and take back what he has stolen from us.”

Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Galatians 6:9, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Are we prepared for the conflict of prayer? In prayer, the forces of flesh and Spirit collide and Spirit must always reign. By the power of the Holy Ghost, we are set free from the dominion of the flesh. The power of Almighty God possesses our mortal bodies as we give ourselves to His Divine Will and Sovereign Purpose. Our Creator and Redeemer has broken the chains, loosed the fetters, and opened the barred doors. We are free to be a servant of God and fulfill His mission in us.

However, Satan is like a roaring lion roaming about his domain seeking to devour and destroy everything and everyone that proclaims salvation and freedom in Jesus Christ. We must rise up in the power of the Blood Stained Cross and declare God’s Victory. “Father God, Your power will break the chains of sin, disobedience, and rebellion. We are Your servants. We stand where You stand and by Your power, We will do Your work. By Your power, We will break through the enemies fortresses and You will deliver the hopeless souls of mankind.”

This is a spiritual war! We are not fighting against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities, against the ruler of the darkness of this world. Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Our victory has already been ordained and secured. Jesus declared victory at Calvary when He embraced the role of His sacrifice. Psalm 22:14, “I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.” David wrote of his own struggle with life and death but uses language which is appropriate for Christ's crucifixion. Jesus poured Himself out on the cross. Consequently, there is power in the blood of his sacrifice. Power to enter the enemy's domain, the places he has hidden the souls of the lost, hopeless, lifeless, imprisoned bodies of humankind. The power and light of Jesus Christ will reach into these deep dark crevices of life and set the doomed free. Who will carry His light into the darkness?

In Isaiah 6, when Isaiah saw God, he saw Him high and lifted up or in an exalted state. Isaiah fell on His face in repentance and submission and declared, “...I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me,” Isaiah 6:8. Are we prepared for the conflict of prayer? Can we answer as Isaiah, “Here am I, send me.” Yes, it is time to pray! Prepare For The Conflict of Prayer!

Escape The Wrath To Come! by Myra Boozer

What is the purpose of the Rapture? I think it is to remove the Body of Christ out of this world so the WRATH of God can be poured out, as outlined in the book of Revelation.

In the Old Testament Noah obeyed the call of God to build the ark according to God's specific instructions, providing an escape from the floodwaters and saving the righteous people. In Lot's day, the people of God were removed before He rained down fire and brimstone on the city of Sodom and Gomorrah. In the crossing of the Red Sea, God dried up the waters and allowed the Children of Israel to pass over before he brought the waters back down on their enemy, the Egyptians. God's obedient people have always been spared the calamity of God's wrath. Through the Rapture of the Church, the Bride of Christ will be spared the wrath of God. However, it will be the time for Israel to have another opportunity to recognize the Messiah and choose Him, many giving their lives for their restoration to Christ.

There are many prophecy preachers who have studied and they are presenting their finds. But, all of them can't be right which is causing much confusion. We must study the Bible in prayer for ourselves.

I believe the Rapture (the catching away) is to remove the Church, the righteous Body of Christ. The word Church is no longer used after Revelation 3. From there on we hear about the 7 Angels, 7 plagues. 7 seals, 7 vials, 7 bowls, 7 trumpets. All this appears to be Judgment and the Wrath of God and has nothing to do with the Church, the called-out ones.

I Thessalonians 5:9, "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, But to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ." Please read I Thess. 4:13-18. The last verse instructs us to comfort one another with these words about the rapture. I am so thankful for this blessed Hope we have to be counted worthy to escape what is coming upon this world. Our purpose is to spread the Word of the Lord that all men will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and Escape The Wrath To Come!

Unbelievers Will Not Be Ready!

Unbelievers will not be ready for the Rapture! The Bride of Christ, His Church, His Body will be looking for and anxiously awaiting the Bride Groom. This is what the Bible refers to as the Rapture. Hebrews 9:28, “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” Only those who are looking for Jesus will see Him at the Rapture. Therefore, we must be watching and waiting. Rev. 3:3, “Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.” Jesus was speaking to the Church at Sardis, the Body of Christ at Sardis. (read Rev. 3:1-6). His instruction is to be ready and watch!

Unbelievers will not be ready! Having had the opportunity to receive the truth and subsequently rejecting the truth, the unbeliever walks in darkness. This includes secular churches. I am talking about those groups and individuals who fail to embrace Biblical Truth. Those who generate their own carnal doctrine to appease their followers. The sad thing about these groups is that they provide a centralized government and structure for deception.

Paul describes the perilous times of the last days in a litany of ills in 2 Tim. 3:1-5. He especially addresses religious apostasy. Give special attention to v5, “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” He addresses those professing Christianity but describing them as resembling Christian service but without the spiritual dynamic of the Holy Ghost.

What is Paul's solution to Timothy's challenge? 2 Tim. 4:2, “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” If they turn away from the Truth, they are unbelievers. Unbelievers are without the discernment of the Word or the Spirit. Consequently, they will walk in carnality and will not be ready. They will not be able to discern the times. “...unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

My Lion Of Judah! by Myra Boozer

Oh Father, not of myself, no good thing have I done to deserve you. You are what is Good in my life! You are my Bright and Morning Star! You shine bright even when the clouds are gray and the sun doesn't shine, when the storm clouds gather and the wind is howling.

I am settled in the fact that you are here with me even when I don't feel you or see you. I feel great assurance of your presence.

Forever you reign and forever your love trails after me. Your heart beats inside of me, sometimes like a drum from the Islands.

The songs of jubilation and redemption come upon me like the rushing sounds of a great waterfall. My heart is made glad with such splendor. The sounds of Victory and Deliverance are mighty.

Like David of old, I sing a new song!

You will defeat the enemy, the one who is sly as a fox. You know where he lives and you have a mandate to capture and defeat him. Forever, he will be under your feet, defeated and destroyed! You, Lord, are the Lion of Judah and You Reign Forever!

Rev. 22:16, “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
