Satan Will Oppose You! by Myra Boozer

Opposition to lives which are yielded to Jesus Christ takes many forms, some dramatic, some subtle. Satan is a clever angel of light but sometimes he chooses supernatural ways to frighten us into inactivity. During a time at camp with the girls, I was singing outside of the cabin after lights-out. The song had the words: ‘Don't be afraid for whatever is coming, your heavenly Father takes care of you.’ Suddenly I heard horrible noises around me. It seemed as if among the trees some sort of beings were trying to make me stop. The noises grew and subsided, sending shivers through my body with their weird tones. While I sang, I pleaded with the Lord: ‘Cover me and protect me with Your blood, Lord Jesus...give me strength to go on singing and speak through me to reach all these girls.’ The noises remained and got louder and more ugly, but I didn't stop. I knew that I stood on the front line of battle but through Jesus it was victory ground, not defeat or retreat. As soon as I finished the song, the noise stopped, just as abruptly as they began. I went to bed and thanked the Lord for His victory. The next morning I asked the girls if they had heard anything unusual the previous night. They answered that they had never heard me sing so beautifully. Nobody heard anything else.” This is taken from Corrie ten Boom's book IN MY FATHERS HOUSE..

My question is what is trying to stop you today? Don't let the troubles, trials or tribulations of this life or anything that Satan would throw in your path stop you from singing the Praises of our Lord. Sing loud and with all your might! Don't give up, we are almost HOME. Jesus said in this life we would have these troubles but to not be alarmed...because He overcame, so will we through His power that works in us. As we get closer to the return of the Lord the noise will become louder and louder from the opposition. It is time to arise and stand in the face of the enemy. The world's tactics (or armor) will not fit the Christian. Just like Saul's armor did not fit David, the Shepherd boy. It will take the leading, the direction and the unction of the Holy Spirit to defeat the enemy of our day just like it did in David's day. We must remember these words as we go out to defeat our giants... "NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER..FOR I GO IN THE NAME OF THE LORD GOD JEHOVAH...

Satan Is Already Defeated!

Philippians 2:8, “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

There is a time in the near future when all creation will bow at the feet of Christ and declare true reverence to Him. Jesus, the Son of God, humbled Himself to a degrading death on a Roman cross. In doing so, He became the eternal sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. His blood was poured out for the Victory of every believer. Through the power of His resurrection and triumph over death, hell and the grave, Jesus has brought LIFE to all who will believe.

By the same triumphant act, He has sealed the doom of every entity that stands in opposition to God’s plan for all mankind. “...Of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth,” all will bow in humble, submissive, reverence to Jesus Christ as the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. This ultimately will happen in the END, the CONSUMMATION of all things.

However, Satan is already defeated! He just hasn’t conceded his loss! I am convinced that Jesus Christ wants to use the Body of Christ to bring to fruition (the state of being real) the domain (area of a ruler's control) of His miraculous power. The Lord Jesus Christ wants to reveal the awesomeness of His miraculous power in and through the Body. He wants to use the Body of Christ to march into Satan's house, the very seat and throne of his rule and rescue perishing souls.

Satan has believed his own lies. He is the father of lies. He exists in the domain of lies and deceit. And as with a habitual liar, he cannot discern where the lie ends and reality begins. He thought he could defeat Jesus in the wilderness of temptation. He thought he could defeat Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane. He thought he had defeated Jesus on the cross. He thought he had defeated Jesus when they sealed Him in the tomb. But what Satan failed to remember was that all this was according to prophecy and God's plan. Jesus brought us to the apex of spiritual victory when He walked out of that tomb! That was God's plan! Satan Is Already Defeated! (continued)

Finding You Is Worship! by Myra Boozer

"Worship is so much more than just singing songs. It is a condition of the heart and a state of mind. We can even worship God passionately without singing a single note. Our worship for God is born in our hearts, it fills our thoughts, and it is expressed through our mouths and through our bodies. Worship is fulfilling your purpose. When you are praising God, you are not just fulfilling a duty, putting in time, doing what is expected of you. You are entering into all He has for you. You are opening a door, behind which you will find His purpose and destiny for your life"

Wow this says so much to us today. True worship happens when the door is opened and we step into the awesome presence of God, becoming aware of who He is and who we are in Christ. It can happen when we sing , when we pray, or just walking along the wayside with the Lord. It is a time of walking hand in hand with Jesus as though nothing else matters.

Dear Lord, may we get lost in your presence and find you. Finding You is what matters today.. The world is screaming for more and more attention. May we cast off all the distractions and focus on you with a Heart of Worship.

The Holy Ghost Removes The Veil Of Religion!

2 Corinthians 3:15, “But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

The presence of the Holy Spirit among worshipers of God opens a heavenly portal. In this wicked and obstinate generation the Body of Christ must seek for and walk in the manifest presence of Jesus Christ. Not only do we need the manifestation of the Holy Ghost but the world needs to see Him working in our midst. This Holy Ghost covering is the key to our progress and ultimate completion of our mission here.

2 Chronicles 7:1, “Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.”

Solomon prayed a prayer of honor and thanksgiving for the newly completed Tabernacle. It was not simply a formal prayer of dedication. He PRAYED honestly and earnestly. Oh, how we need to earnestly seek the God of glory for His manifest presence in His Church. Pray for and sincerely desire that the glory of God rest upon His House.

Solomon had prepared the House for God's habitation and invited God to live there. 2 Chronicles 6:41, “Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place,..” Solomon had built the Tabernacle as a habitation of the Lord and he entreated God to dwell there. When the glory of the Lord filled the house, the people fell on their faces in honor and reverence at His presence.

Let us prepare this house for the manifest presence of God. You are His house. Ephesians 2:22, “In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Allow the blood of Jesus to wash us clean and make us holy and acceptable to God. Invite Christ to live in this house and manifest His presence. Fall on our faces in honor and reverence in the presence of God, total, complete, unreserved and uninhibited worship in His presence.

God's reply to Solomon was, “...I have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice,” 2 Chronicles 7:12. Sacrifice was the system of worship in the Old Testament. So, what was God saying? He was saying that when His people came to Him in worship He would meet with them. The same promise applys to the Body of Christ today. When we come to the Lord in unreserved and uninhibited worship, we will experience His manifest presence. It is expedient that He inhabit this House for our salvation and the souls of our lost world.

What will your church offer the lost, the dying, the hungry? What will your worship experience give to them? Will it be business as usual or will it be a Divine Encounter? True worship will always include a Divine Encounter! Otherwise, it is only an expression of religious habit!

I Love To Worship! by Myra Boozer

I love to worship with hands raised in surrender to the Lord as the Holy Spirit comes down like rain. It washes over me like nothing else and takes all the worries and cares of the day down the drain.

I love to walk in the river that floods the place...All because I know who God is and what He has done for me...as I sing praises to Him not only with my mouth but with my understanding, my heart, my desires and everything that is within me. I lift the Name of JESUS and He lifts me.

He lifts me up above all the shadows of despair and defeat and tells me I am His own. That I am the apple of His eye and that He loves me. Just another reason for me to never back up or give up on God.

For me, worship is a Celebration of all that I live for and all that Christ died for...My debt paid!...My sins forgiven!...My passport to my new home!...and so much more!

The Power Of God's Presence? Embrace God's Truth!

Jeremiah 2:8, “The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.”

The power of God’s presence requires embracing God’s truth! That is the reason Judah was not experiencing God’s favor during this time. The priests, pastors and prophets lead the way for Judah into apostasy. Through the words of Jeremiah, God was revealing a pathway to victory. But there is only one way to secure God’s favor. Judah must acknowledge their defiance of God’s law and return to God in repentance and submission. Through the prophet Jeremiah, God was pleading with Judah to return to Him and to His Favor.

I suppose that every Christian would say that they desire the favor of God in their life. But, are we willing to embrace the truth of God’s Word and submit our lives to its standard? What is the parallel with our text for today?

Leaders of the churches in America have led the way down the broad road toward apostasy! The leadership of the churches in this nation must bear the responsibility for the conditions in the churches. The simple return to prayer and contrition before God could change the course of our nation.

A congregation will not rise above their leader. Then, it becomes the responsibility of those leaders to represent God’s Truth in word and deed. Godly leaders will lift up God’s standard which is God’s Truth. True leaders are co-workers with the Lord Jesus Christ through the abiding presence of the Holy Ghost. God said that He would lift up His standard when the enemy comes in an overwhelming force. “So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19

We are experiencing now the onslaught of the dark forces released from the Satanic abyss. The enemy is angry that the Church of Jesus Christ would dare to rise up and oppose him. But now is the time for that very thing. Every pastor, leader and congregation has been pressed by the will of a carnal society to accept the unfruitful works of darkness. Paul instructed the Church at Ephesus to have no fellowship with darkness because we are children of Light. Ephesians 5:9, “(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.” This external influence has pressed into the churches creating internal conflict. The pressure of inclusion and compromise has led to a deviation from God’s Truth by some.

However, God has a standard for us to embrace, accept and model if we are to name the name of Christ. God’s standard is Holiness. God requires repentance and a turning away from sin to the holiness of God’s Truth. Ephesians 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Godly leaders must preach the glorious Gospel of God’s Truth. Jesus is returning for His Church made ready by the washing of the Word that His Church may be presented to Him Holy and without Blemish.

The power of God’s presence requires embracing God’s truth!

Living In Splendor! by Myra Boozer

Do you ever wonder about the home the Lord has gone to prepare for you? Will it be a villa by the beautiful sea, or a chalet in the mountains? I don't know what it will be like. I sure don't need to have anything fancy. I can just hang out by the crystal sea and sit on the beach for a long time. Then, I can come and visit you in your new home and we can talk of all the things that we don't have time to talk about down here.

Oh, we will not talk of our insecurities, our lack of trust or hope or any of our sickness. The bills will all be paid, no talk of politics, or the school system...no talk about what is going on next door or the way the people are treating little children...abandoning them and leaving them on the streets and even aborting them before they are born.

No talk of all the shootings and robberies and the vulgar filth that is on the TV and the movie theaters...No talk of drugs, alcohol and abuse...or talk of drama, and fake people, no talk of the Grammy Awards or any worldly status.

No talk of needing goats to send to the needy...no talk of needing clean water for little thirsty children. We will all be happy, healthy and completely whole, living in the splendor of a Righteous God who will feed us from His Throne forever and ever.

" In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know." John 14:2-4

The Dream Of My Life Refocused!

As I sit looking out my window, I observe nature at work in my world. The rain is falling at a steady pace and a gray squirrel is running from place to place appearing to be searching for food he has stored. His work must continue whether sunshine or rain. No matter what the weather or circumstance each day brings the same responsibility and need for provision and survival.

We have a lot in common with my little squirrel. We rush at a hurried pace from place to place searching for whatever we perceive to be the needs of life. And we do that for the entirety of our lives. We rush through our childhood wishing that we were older so we can participate in the games of life. Whether it is to attain the age of 13 to be a teenager or 15 to get a drivers permit or 16 to actually get a drivers license. And on we go experiencing the magic of age, graduating high school and maybe college.

We hurry through those magical years thinking that by “obtaining” our lives will be fulfilled. We find a mate, get married and start a family. We are so very busy learning how to be a companion, parent and provider, thinking that life will slow down at some point and we can begin to enjoy who we are and what we do. So, we rush through the early family years thinking that when the children get older, or we land that perfect job or we achieve this or that special status we've always wanted, that all will be “better” and we can slow down and enjoy this life we have created.

And, before you know it the children are all grown up, have chosen mates and have started families of their own. Then we rush through the grandparent years helping our children and grand children to do the same as we have done. We are rushing through time achieving, thinking all along this journey at some point we are going to slow down and enjoy the life we have created for ourselves and our families.

We set our goals in life always thinking of tomorrow or later. I realize that there are things in life for which you must plan. It is best to prepare for college and career, marriage and family, retirement and final things. But, it is so very important to keep the finish in mind, always! A correct understanding of the final things in one's life will keep everything else in proper focus. Then we understand that our vision of the finish will determine how we respond to every relationship in life. No matter what decision or choice we may face, the final things will bring a correct perspective to the matter. Ecc. 12:13, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”

Therefore, life's choices are governed by our vision of final things. We realize that we live our lives in the present tense. We are planning for tomorrow by the way we live today. That will not only affect our lives but also those who have been given into our care and those who share our sphere of influence on this journey.

Now, getting back to my little gray squirrel. His creator has given him an innate sense to gather and store provisions. I am sure that what appeared to me to be a frantic search was normal for him. That's the way squirrels are because God created them that way. You and I are created to live on a much higher plane. If God gives an animal an innate sense of provision for his life, God has done so much more for us. The problem comes when we fail to communicate with Him. My little squirrel has an automatic system built into his consciousness for his provision. We are created higher than any other creature in God's creation. We were made for relationship with God and each other. Our relationship requires communication. If we fail to communicate with God, we cannot receive instruction for our provision.

If we are listening to God, He will instruct us in His plan for us today. He will help us to understand that we live His will today so that we are in His will tomorrow. If we follow Christ today, we have no need to worry about tomorrow. Our life and future is secure in the grace of Jesus Christ.

2 Tim. 4:7, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”

He's A Good, Good Father! by Myra Boozer

Today I'm thankful for God's provision. All my life, God has always been such a big part, even when I strayed away at different times like a rebellious child. He was on my mind and I knew He was looking out for me and calling me back to a close relationship with Him. I always sensed His strong arm of correction, not allowing me a clear conscience for my actions but showing me my error (something a good parent does for their children).

Sometimes it is not in our plans to turn away from God but little by little if we're watching other people. We will began to question why some things are never dealt with and why others help them to cover up their sin. But this is something that has always been and we surely see evidence of that going on today more than ever. People will let you down and disappoint you, causing you to pull away from God and Church. Just remember we will NOT be judged by what others do or say. We will be judged for our own words and actions.

Those whom God loves, He will chastise. We don't like correction but just remember when God cares enough for you to take time to discipline YOU, He really cares. God not only shows us what is wrong in our life but He brings a solution and healing to our problems. He has truly provided what I needed and His direction and correction has brought me to where I am today. But I had to turn around and seek His forgiveness knowing that I was not going to survive out in the world on my own. I needed Him and all that He had for me and that included Him being my Lord and Master. He is my avenger, my strength and my protector. My heart is fixed on Him. My eyes are looking for His coming and I am filled with JOY in the expectation of what He has in store for those who love Him. YES, HE HAS PROVIDED ALL I'VE EVER NEEDED, EVEN THE DISCIPLINE.... SO THANKFUL!!!!!

A Portrait Of My Father!

You are mighty Oh God in the midst of your people. Who can stand against Your beloved as You dwell among them? How Great and Mighty You are, Your Wonders ready to perform. Is anything too difficult for You? “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” Jeremiah 32:17. There is nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing that God can’t do. Put your faith and trust in Him today!

"Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit of God, when I survey the awesomeness of who you are, I stand in wonder of your person. You are the Creator of all things yet you are my Father. You are the Life and Sustainer of all things created yet you are my Life and more abundantly. You are my Way, my Truth and my Life. In you I live and move and have the entirety of my being. You are the power of the Almighty God inhabited within the person of the Holy Spirit as witnessed in the book of Acts. Yet you are my Strength, my Power, my Comforter, my Teacher, my Paraclete. You are the Divine and Magnanimous Person who inhabits all of eternity yet you are my Friend, my Companion, my Heart and my Soul. There is no one like you! Thank you for loving me! Thank You! My Father!”

Can You Believe? by Myra Boozer

Can you believe how fast things are falling apart in this country and the world for that matter. God will not put up with evil running rampant for an extended time. He will come and fight against these evil people who seem to prevail.

God has all power and those who think they are so high and mighty to come against God and His Holy Word, will find that they can ONLY do what God allows them to do. One day they will tremble in His presence, bow their knee and confess He is LORD. But that will be too late! NOW is the day of salvation!

Somehow I believe these, that have turned to such rebellion against God and the Truths that our country were founded upon, at some point rejected the still small voice of a loving God who offered His only Son for their sins. But they rejected Him! When any person keeps on rejecting God they are falling deeper into the arms of an evil master that will consume them with his deceitful ways and carry them with him to the pits of hell.

God has given us another day(well, He could come at any time, before the night has ended) but we have this time right now to surrender our hearts, our minds, our wills. It could be too late for those who don't have ears to hear but for those who have ears, let him hear what the Spirit is saying. Call on the Lord while He is near! Seek Him while He can still be found. Please don't take God for granted and spurn your opportunity to know Him as Lord and Master of your life.

"For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of the which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled," 1Peter 3:12-14.

There is a song that speaks of, " God is fighting for us. He is on our side. We will not be shaken. We will not be moved." God is so faithful to His children! He will not allow them to be defeated.

God Is Holy! So Are His Children!

Psalm 29:2, “Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.”

God requires that we come before Him in holiness. If we are to enter into His presence, we will do so under the covering of Holiness. The Psalmist said it best, if we are to give God the glory that is due Him, if we are to truly worship Him we will do so in His holiness. Holiness is an indispensable element of our relationship with God. Hebrews 12:14, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:”

Man was created in the image of God, and until he sinned he was the reflection of God. After the disobedience of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, God pronounced the curse of sin upon all creation. All that God had created would carry the scar of man’s failure.

The sin in mortal man cannot be representative of God. Therefore, the sin must be cast aside and abandoned. That is done in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus provided everything we need to be a true disciple through His cleansing blood. Look to the cross, believe in the cleansing of Christ, be washed in His blood and He will make you clean and holy. We are then the reflection of God.

A disciple of Christ will reflect the character of God. 1 Peter 1:16, “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” Peter’s reference is to the command of God in Leviticus 11:44-45 for the people of God to be holy as the one who has called them is holy. Jesus was also our example and was without sin. 1 Peter 2:22, “Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:”

Holiness is a New Testament teaching and has become a serious issue in the 21th century church. If we believe and accept the Bible we must declare that holiness is an absolute in the Body of Christ. The Body of Christ is the Bride of Christ and is destined to be presented to Christ as a holy bride washed in the blood of the lamb. Ephesians 5:25, “...Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” The Bride will be presented in holiness. Jesus shed His blood on the cross as a sacrifice to atone for our sin. In Him, sin is cast aside and abandoned, never to be remembered. The believer is wholly washed becoming a child of God and prepared to be the reflection of his Father. Amen! (continued)

Anointed For A Mission! by Myra Boozer

Something to think about, "anointed for a mission." Do you feel you are here on planet earth with a purpose or do you feel you are just floating through with ease and comfort with a don't disturb sign hanging on your heart? What wakes you up in the morning? Is it a prayer on your heart for someone or something you might could do to make this world a little easier or a little brighter? Or, is it where is my coffee, where is my easy chair in life? Don't look at me, don't talk to me, don't expect to get a response from me because I am all ready spoken for. Life is a breeze and my mission is "Me." I hope not!

Now that I have your attention, the Bible (the greatest book on earth) teaches us that we are not our own. We have been bought with a price, the Blood of Jesus. And, our"mission," like Jesus, is to do the will of the Father...all that He has laid out in His book, written by Holy men as they were inspired by the Holy Ghost.

I have been thinking of my mission as God's child, my husband's wife, my son's mother, my grand's Nana, my families relative, my neighbor's neighbor, my church families spiritual relative, my lost world's watchman. Wow, this is a big responsibility and I come up short in being all I need to be for these people. But, I am coming more and more to the understanding that I can not always be what is needed or expected of me. However, I can maintain my relationship with God and let His love flow through me so that I can be filled with His Spirit and His Love...So that my MISSION, my calling will be ANOINTED. Whatever your mission let God be your source of strength!

Psalm 27:1, “...The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

Power In The Holy Ghost To Serve God's Purpose!

Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

The first requirement that God expects of us is total and complete surrender to Him. The Apostle defines that here as presenting “your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God...” This is where we start! From here, we must allow the Word of God to have it’s perfect work in us by the power of the Holy Ghost. Be separate from the world and be changed by regeneration in the Spirit of God. Why is that necessary? So we may discern what is the acceptable and perfect will of God. This transformation can only be performed by the Holy Ghost.

Immediately following His baptism by John the Baptist, Jesus was let by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by Satan. Matthew 4:1, “Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.” Jesus had just left Jordan where He saw the heaven open and the Spirit of God descended like a dove and lighted upon Him. Luke addresses the same event in Luke 4:1, “And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.” Jesus was full of the Holy Ghost and possessed the power to serve God’s purpose in Him. Now came the beginning of the testing. Ryrie states that Satan’s intention was to make Christ sin so as to thwart God’s plan for the redemption of man by disqualifying the Savior. But, this event was not for the benefit of Satan. The Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness and God’s purpose was to prove His Son to be sinless and thus a worthy Savior. Ryrie states further that it is clear that Jesus was actually tempted and it is equally clear that He was sinless.

Luke 4:2-13 gives the details of the confrontation of Jesus, the Son of Truth and the Deceiver, Satan. The grueling encounter continued for 40 days and Satan used all his best tactics but he had no power over the Son of Truth. All he could do was to walk away from the battlefield in defeat. But, Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit! Luke 4:14, “And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.” This classic battle has repeated itself every day since that time. The same scenario has played out in our lives. The Truth has prevailed and the deceiver is defeated. That is God’s Plan!

After His departure, Jesus sent the Holy Ghost to lead and guide us into the fullness of our relationship with God. Through the Word of God and by the anointing of the Spirit we are brought to the place where God truly wants us to be. Paul described this journey in his second letter to Timothy in chapter 3. In reference to the Scriptures, Paul declared that, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God...” 2Timothy 3:16. That is to say that it is “God breathed.” Therefore, the Scripture is God’s Word to us. Consequently, it will benefit us in every aspect of our lives if we will receive it’s instruction. What is the purpose of this inspired Word of God? Paul answered that question in 2Timothy 3:17, “That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” That we may grow into the fullness of our relationship with God and be endued with the power to serve God’s purpose in us.

Power to serve God’s purpose only comes in the power of the Holy Ghost. That is why we must experience regeneration in the Spirit of God and the indwelling of the Holy Ghost. Why is that necessary? So we may discern what is the acceptable and perfect will of God. This transformation can only be performed by the Holy Ghost. Power to serve God’s purpose is by the power of the Holy Ghost indwelling us.

Don't Follow The Crowd! by Myra Boozer

When we FOLLOW the LORD, We will NOT FOLLOW the CROWD. We will take a different path, the path of Holy living, Holy speech, Holy dress, Holy thinking, Holy conduct, Holy attitude. God said in His word, be ye Holy as I am Holy. Christ is coming for a holy people, a holy church without blemish. Ephesians 5:27, "That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle or any such thing but that it should be holy and without blemish."

I was taught at an early age that if in doubt about something, don't do it. If it seems to be wrong it probably is! If it doesn't bring Glory and Honor to God, leave it. Now the crowd doesn't understand that kind of talk. They have delighted in making the rules. Do what feels good to you. Don't concern yourself about what God or anyone else might think.

If you have been following the crowd you still have time to get out of that group. But, I will say you can't do it own your own. You must fall upon your knees in repentance and trust God to show you the way. He says in His Word, there is a way that seems right unto man but in the end destruction. That is why we can't trust ourselves. We must have him to clean our hearts and our minds in order to know what He requires, in order to have ears to ear His voice.

Our guessing and hoping that we are on the right path isn't good enough. The Lord purchased our salvation and He knows the path that leads home. Unless He leads, guides and directs our ways, we might as well stay in the crowd. This sounds strong but it is time we give strong Godly advice, because "the world" is creating strong delusion (false belief).

GOD HELP US ALL TO STAY ON THE PATH OF RIGHT LIVING....IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO BE SAVED. St. John chapter 10 explains to us that Jesus is the good shepherd. He gave his precious life for His sheep. He knows His sheep by name and when He calls them they FOLLOW Him...and another they will NOT FOLLOW.

If the path you're on seems crowded with lots of happy go lucky people...not concerned about the day we're living in...If they are still talking the same ole talk and walking the same ole walk...YOU are definitely FOLLOWING THE CROWD. "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it," Matthew 7:14.

The Old Life Will Pass Away!

2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”

We must experience spiritual transformation! What God has purposed will require the power of the Holy Spirit to transform this fleshly tabernacle into a spiritual habitation for Himself. “Transformation is a complete or major change in someone's or something's appearance, form, etc.” This process begins with the first step to salvation which is repentance. Acts 3:19, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” Peter was addressing the Jewish unbelievers regarding their rejection and crucifixion of Jesus, their Messiah. This comes after the healing of the lame man at the gate of the temple. The people marveled at this act. However, Peter said, you did what you did through ignorance but God revealed His coming through the mouth of the prophets and that Christ should suffer and die. Therefore repent of your ignorance and sinful disobedience and be restored. Through this message, God was giving them another chance for redemption. Repentance is not only a change of mind but a change of heart brought about by the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in a penitent soul.

This transformation is initiated by the renewing of the mind. The Word states, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Phil. 2:5. Have the mind of Christ rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation and continuing instant in prayer. Walk in this life in Divine communion with the Father having continued access to His strength, power, wisdom, and deliverance. We cannot think like the world thinks and walk like the world walks and expect to be a citizen of the Kingdom of God and as such walk in unrestricted communion with Him. That is why we must experience a change in our temporal mindset, a spiritual transformation brought about by the Holy Ghost in response to our obedience and submission to Him. Thereby, we are restored to a level of communion that man experienced in the garden before his sin. We are regenerated by the Holy Spirit to walk in intimate, holy and unrestrained relationship with God. What a gift God has given to all who will believe His promise in Jesus Christ! The Old Life Will Pass Away!

The Worth Of A Soul! by Myra Boozer

I was awakened in the early morning hours with this thought, “the worth of a soul!” My thoughts automatically went to the scripture. "Behold, all souls are mine..." Ezekiel 18:4a. I actually went back to sleep and the thought was with me when I got up. I was searching and thinking, “the worth of a soul?” It has got to be enormous because of the price Jesus paid. He bought us with his precious blood. So we are valuable! But how valuable? What are we worth?

Some may put a great value upon themselves thinking themselves to be more highly than they should. But they will never come to the value that God the Father and His Son has placed upon them. Bill and I discussed this over breakfast. What makes something worth anything? We came up with this. Something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it! Sure enough, I googled and found that to be the case exactly.

Then, I found this in an article that came from Rescuing Wayward Children. "Can we imagine that the Savior, innocent of sin, who had assumed the staggering weight of the demands of justice until vessels broke and blood seeped from every pore of His suffering body, who had submitted Himself to brutal beatings, to unconscionable humiliation, to arrogant injustice, to the torture of a thirty-nine-lash scourging, to the horror of being stripped and stretched violently upon a cross, to being raised up to hang, full-body weight, from those spikes until He allowed death to overwhelm Him – can we imagine that after the Redeemer had paid that immeasurable price to ransom every individual, that He would lose interest in a sinner, give up, or stop short of His rescuing effort?"

Wow, this was overwhelming for me to read. I don't usually go that deep into my thinking about His suffering. I much rather think of His Resurrection. It makes me smile and rejoice in the fact that because He lives, I can live also.

But to find my answer I had to acquaint myself afresh with His suffering. I had to go there and experience the thoughts of what He was so willing to pay. He paid the ultimate price for me and for YOU. That puts a big price tag on us, all because of Him, not because of any good thing we have done.

The Preacher preached Sunday that it will take a revelation from the Lord for us to see people in the same light that Jesus does. "When we fix our eyes on what is really important to God it will be people." Jesus died for ALL PEOPLE! He paid the price making each one as valuable as the other. When our eyes are opened we will "see the great value and plan that God has for all people."

A New Way Of Life!

Romans 12:2, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Are you sick and tired of the way your life is going? Are you disappointed with the outcome which you expected to be totally different? Are you frustrated with all the empty promises you have received which never materialized? If you expect your life to be different, then you need to change your approach. If you keep living the same way and doing the same things, you will continue to get the same result. If you are tired of being beat up by this worldly system, it is time for a change! It is time for a new way of living! Would you like to wipe the slate clean and begin fresh and brand new? You can in the Lord Jesus Christ!

God has a perfect plan for you! However, He will set you apart from this worldly system and make you holy unto Himself. You will not live according to the custom or pattern of this current age. We cannot follow the example of the world community and expect to draw near to God. The customs and behavior of our world system are repulsive to God. 2 Cor. 2:16, “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,..” God will separate you from the pollution of this world and make you His. He will make you an instrument of His Holiness!

Why would you settle for less than the very best your life could possible be? It all depends on who or what you put your trust in! The system of this world will let you down. We cannot place our trust in the hands of mortal man but must seek out the “life giver” who already has a plan, His plan for our lives. If we will obey His call, He will fully implement His Divine “order” in us and through us. Order suggests the way objects in space or events in time are arranged or follow one another. God knows where we need to be at any given time so He may bring forth His Divine purpose in us. He is vividly aware of the best possible path for our lives. He see’s our future and knows the way we should take.

John 10:7, “Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Whose Work Are We Doing? by Myra Boozer

John 6:28, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."

"Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established," Proverbs 16:3. Whose work are we doing? Our work or the Lord's work? When life is all about "ME," I am suddenly overtaken with my thoughts, which causes me to be living my life for me.

If my heart is on the Lord and His plan for my life then my personal life becomes secondary and serving Him takes priority. I don't have to search for work...but yield myself to BELIEVE ON HIM and He will bring people and situations into my life that I can love and be a blessing to. That my friend is the GOOD LIFE...loving God and loving Others...that is His plan for us!

The Weapons Of Our Warfare Are Not Earthly!

2 Cor. 10:3, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

We are engaged in a mighty spiritual war! Fleshly or earthly instruments of war have no value in this conflict. However, we are empowered by the shed blood of Jesus Christ to engage and defeat the enemy of all souls, Satan. All souls belong to God. Jesus has purchased all who will come to Him and receive His deliverance. God declares in Ezekiel 18:4, “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine:..” However, somebody must deliver the message of Christ's deliverance. We must not delay the action of engaging the enemy! We must not be negligent in our mission!

Although we are flesh, we cannot win this war through our flesh. We already know that our carnal man has failed us and we cannot defeat Satan in our flesh. The weapons of this warfare must come from a higher plane. We must be empowered and instructed by the Lord God Almighty.

Paul instructs the New Testament Church to be strong in the Lord and to stand in the power of His might. Eph. 6:10, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:” What Paul is describing in this text is the power and work of the Holy Spirit which inhabits the life of a disciple of Jesus Christ. Our power and spiritual energy comes through our obedience and submission to Him. (continued)

Early One Sunday Morning! by Myra Boozer

Early one Sunday Morning years ago as I was walking and praying for our neighborhood, I came upon a big pile of new looking items which were bent and twisted...some sort of toys or game for children. I looked toward the house and there I could see looking out the picture window two little heads, one taller than the other, and the look on their faces was hopelessness. It actually broke my heart for they were looking at what used to be something they were no doubt happy to receive.

It had not been that long since Christmas but now it was destroyed. I could hardly deal with this! What could have happened? How could their new toys be laying on the curb? Was someone angry, or high on drugs? Was there abuse in the family? And most of all, were the little boys not only emotionally abused but also physically abused? So much was rushing through my mind. Such a sad day for them and for me, because when I looked into their little faces I too felt the pain. With a broken heart for God's little ones I walked on and cried tears of compassion asking God to take control of whatever was going on in that house.

This is the same thing happening to many people in our world today. They are looking out with eyes of great sadness and heartbreak upon something or someone they once loved but see no hope of restoration. They see the damage and the pieces of their dreams all twisted and broken...Feeling forsaken and alone to face the future not sure what will become of them.

I wanted so badly to go and hold those little ones in my arms and make things happy for them. I wanted to comfort them. I wanted to say, it's okay we will fix it. But I am most sure there was a great stronghold in that house. It would take more than me. It would take God Almighty! I am praying for God to break the strongholds over the homes of this broken and hopeless generation today! I pray that God Almighty will become the Guardian over their lives! There is HOPE in Christ Jesus for full RESTORATION!

Choose Eternal Life!

John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

Life just happens! But serving Jesus Christ requires deliberate action. Life will go on all around you and you don’t have to do a thing. You can sit and watch the sun rise and set and not lift a finger to do anything and life will still go on. Babies are born and death takes others away but life goes on. Some people are thrilled to the heavens about life and others are depressed enough to die but life goes on. Whether we choose to participate in life or not, life will continue to move forward, moving us into our future and our eternity. But it does matter the choice each individual makes regarding their life. It is so important that we choose eternal life in Jesus Christ and take deliberate action to serve Him. Take advantage of the opportunities God gives you today to assure that your eternity includes Him.

Worship God In Everyday Life! by Myra Boozer

Are you loving on the Lord with your Worship? I once heard someone say that she lived a life of Worship, that in everything she did she worshiped the Lord. Sounds wonderful and that is the way I want to live. Lord let my life be a life filled with worship, not that I am standing on the rooftop praising you all day but in my everyday routine. I want the things I say and do to be acceptable unto YOU. If they happen not to be, Lord may you pull me into subjection by the Holy Spirit. Let me be quick to earnestly say," I am sorry" and be convicted of my error.

I want the joy of the Lord to rule my life. Yes, sometimes I hurt and sometimes I cry but I have a joy that is deeper than those things that affect me. My joy is in knowing that I serve a God who is bigger than all my pain and all my struggles. He is stronger than any storm that pushes its way into my world. He is the ONE my hopes are built upon. There is nothing that I can do or think of that brings me more contentment than knowing He loves me, knowing that He has all my hopes and dreams in His hands. That He is returning one day for me and my family (those who love Him and have committed everything to Him).

This world of great fame and riches will one day humbly bow down at His feet and confess "JESUS IS LORD." Everybody who has been too busy with getting all they could from this life, instead of living a life of worship, will be so very troubled and distraught. All that has been accumulated, houses, land, silver and gold will all melt away, leaving them emotionally bankrupt and defeated. But this understanding that I have with my Lord will continue to hold me and carry me from this ole world to my new Home that He has gone to prepare. "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN, AND RECEIVE YOU UNTO MYSELF; that where I am, there ye may be also," John 14:2-3.

Remember, God desires to receive glory from the life we live EVERYDAY, not just on SUNDAY or when someone is watching. Worship God In Everyday Life!

Seeking God For Spiritual Awakening Of Pentecostal Proportions!

As the Body of Christ, we must understand the task that is before us! The weight of our mission is insurmountable apart from the inspiration, revelation and anointing of the Holy Spirit. We cannot finish what Jesus began without a visible, recognizable, Holy Ghost discerned spiritual awakening! We must actively solicit participation within the Church and fervently seek God for an “end times” spiritual awakening.

Romans 13:11, “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” My very soul cries out, “Lord, send Your fire among us! Burn away everything that is unlike You! Reveal to us anything that is displeasing to You!” Can we call out to God with the Psalmist in Psalm 139:23, “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Lord, help us to see ourselves as You see us! And give us the desire and strength to make the necessary corrections.

I pray that God pour out a holy desperation in the Church to fulfill His plan in this hour! Are we willing to be shaped and molded as a vessel that God will choose to use? God can use whoever or whatever He chooses when He chooses. He has utilized various elements in creation as it has served His purpose. He has used animals, birds, fish and even inanimate objects like a staff or a piece of wood. He has even used some of us when it suited His purpose. But, we need to be so hungry to be used by God that He will invent occasions to use us. That He will see our desperation to come along beside Him and fulfill His Plan in this hour.

A Pentecostal level spiritual awakening will require a restoration of the power of the Holy Spirit in our churches. May the Spirit of God bring about a hunger in our congregations that He can birth Pentecostal revival as in our history. Revival that will change us and our families, move our communities and affect our nation. We must have Divine intervention in this hour! If we will seek Him according to His will, He has promised to answer. 2Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” And again in Luke 11:9, “And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

We need Divine intervention. However, we must desire His help and welcome Him when He comes. It’s time to pray like our future depends on it! It does and the future of everyone within the sphere of our ministry! IT’S TIME TO PRAY!

When Something Is Just Not Right! by Myra Boozer

If you ever feel that something is just not right, maybe you feel a little anxious, a little fretful, maybe a little uncertain about things and you just can't put your finger on it. I have found the answer. Get into worship and let the Glory of The Lord come down giving you a refreshing that comes from His presence. If that doesn't work, just talk to Him one on one, asking Him if there is anything in your life that is not pleasing to Him...maybe your attitude, your actions, or your inability to rely on Him. Learn to love the closeness that worship and prayer brings. Sometimes it takes effort and discipline, especially in the beginning. We are His children and sometimes children don't always make right choices. So we must ask if we don't already know, "God what is wrong in my life?" This world is a headache sometimes, well all the time...but God desires that we overcome the world. Don't get caught up in the worldly system or the SIN that is so prevalent and very seductive. It can reel you in and take over quickly, putting your life in a state of turmoil and real danger. Instead you can experience wonderful fellowship with the Lord and cast off all the heaviness the world throws at you.

We must remember our physical freedom that we hold so dear cost a great price. Our forefathers suffered and many died because they dared to declare Independence from the mother country England. I know our Freedom is not Free...it cost and is still costing. “God help us to know that our Freedom in You cost You Your only Son, Jesus.” Oh, how He loves us and we must not trample His mercy as we see some who trample our American Flag and our American Heritage.

Stand firm in the things God has shown you in His Word. Live true to the standard He has set for you to live by. The Bible, His Word is not to be ignored, pushed aside or rearranged to fit ones lifestyle. Understand there is Life in the boundaries and guidelines of His Word. There is protection from shame and disgrace. There is forgiveness and freedom in His mercy. There is transformation from the drab and hopeless life to a life of overflowing joy and peace, even in the midst of trouble. It can happen when you open your heart with confession instead of trying to keep secrets from the Lord. He sees all anyway...we can't hide anything from Him. He so desires for us to come as a little child and give him our heart, our worship and our allegiance. He will make all things new in our life as only He the Creator of all things can do!

Run For Your Life!

I recently heard a sermon by this title delivered by Pastor Carter Conlon, lead pastor of the Times Square Church in New York City. He preached this sermon on Sunday after the horrific attack on the Twin Towers on 9/11/2001. I believe that is was then a WORD from God and is still applicable to the Church today. I have included a link here to his full sermon. (youtube.com/watch?v=1YDvuBAczXY&feature=share).

I was so moved by this message that I feel the urgency to share something I wrote a few months ago. The Church of Jesus Christ stands at a pivotal point in our commission for the completion of the last days harvest. Our response to the call of God will bear directly upon the salvation of souls. Will I be responsible for souls being lost that could have been saved had I been obedient to the prompting of the Holy Ghost? That is the eternal question!

Joel 2:15, "Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: 16.Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. 17Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?"

Joel repeated his call of 2:1. The difference here is a call to national repentance to be performed in a national gathering of all the people before God. The priests were to proclaim a day of humiliation for all the people regardless of age or distinction. Joel summons all ranks and classes to assemble in the Temple for this solemn service.

Sanctify the people! The people were to prepare themselves for this solemn time. Under the Law, they were to wash themselves and their clothes. They were commanded to cleanse themselves from all impurities, to have offered sacrifice for any transgressions of the Law. To be obedient was to be purged and made worthy to be presented before the Lord in His house!

Assemble the elders, children, babies. No one should be excluded. Even the bride and the bridegroom were to delay their festivities for this solemn assembly. Everything must stop and all attention to focus on the Lord of glory.

The priests, the ministers of the Lord were commanded to take the lead in this sacred work of penitence. They are compelled by the greatness of the national trespass to stand weeping and praying between the porch and the altar. It was here, in the open court, that the priest with his face toward the inner court and the altar, that he turned his petition toward God in supplication for the sins of the people.

As I read this text, I cannot help but think what would happen if God's people would approach God with the same intensity as was required here. Such fervency that would drive us all to our knees in convulsive groans of agony for the needs of the lost and Christ's Church alike. I am reminded of Jesus' encounter with the weight of His destiny as He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane. "And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground." Luke 22:44. Is not our destiny just as relevant? He (Christ) has given us as the Body of Christ the urgent task to carry the message of deliverance to all creation. Do we not languish in such a state of national trespass in desperate need of the sacred work of penitence? God help us to fall helplessly into His embrace and become an example and instrument of His salvation and deliverance. God send your fire among us. May the Holy Spirit set us ablaze that we will never be the same. Change us Lord into what you desire us to become. Make us instruments of your salvation. There is a change coming! Are we willing to be changed?

Stop The Worry! Get Ready! by Myra Boozer

Trust isn't a very big word but it sure brings about BIG changes in the lives of those who can open their heart and wrap their mind around it. Oh, the peace it can bring to a troubled soul...the calm assurance that comes all packaged with peace is priceless! It will pick you up and carry you in its arms if you will only yield your will (your life) to His will and surrender your thoughts to His thoughts. Being ready to meet the Lord means, "If we live or if we die we are safe in His arms of Mercy." So, we don't have to worry about anything. Being totally surrendered to His WILL brings us into "His Pavilion." Psalm 27:5, "For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock."

At His command, all creation will have to listen and do what He says. When God speaks I pray we will recognize that it is Him that is speaking. Sometimes He has to speak to us in a LOUD voice to ever get our attention. I feel He is speaking to the world today as it is spinning out of control with great concern about the floods, the fires, the disease, the hunger, the abuse and threats of being bombed. Can you hear Him saying, "Fear not, I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and HAVE THE KEYS OF HELL AND OF DEATH;" Revelation 1:17b-18.

Allow the Lord to speak to your heart today and show you where we are on His calendar. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and he is about to come for all those who have been washed in the blood of the Lamb...after that takes place, YOU don't want to be here. The great tribulations and the wrath of God will come upon this world. Please find your shelter in the safe place "His Pavilion," the place of redemption and ultimate healing for your soul before the Rapture takes place. He could come any hour! For those ready it will be wonderful...for those who aren't, it will be a horrible time. Don't spend your time worrying about what is coming. Be ready and watching for we do not know the HOUR He is coming... but He is coming, so be ready!

There Is A Change Coming! There's A Strong Wind Stirring!

Acts 2:2, “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind...”

Let It Start In Me” is the title of the song that has been especially stirring to me recently. The 2nd line of the first verse says, “There’s a strong wind stirring...” As I listen to these words, I cannot help but to reflect on Acts 2:1, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

I declare by the Holy Spirit that there is a strong wind stirring across this land. A fresh wind of the Holy Ghost is blowing across our world. Previously where there has been doubt and defeat, God is raising up men and women who are embracing His Voice, His Vision and His Victory. He is showing through the lives of the faithful that His eternal promises are secure. God is revealing Himself to this generation as the awesome, all powerful, all knowing, loving, nurturing Father that He is.

There is a change coming! There's a strong wind stirring!” The lines have been drawn. God will bring His plan to completion. Satan will fight against God and all who identify with His holiness. The wind of God’s Holy Spirit is effectuating the change necessary in the heart of every believer to make us ready for the finale. God’s desire is to enlist all who will answer His call. Change is coming! Are you willing to be changed? Do you desire to be changed?

Ezekiel 37:7, “So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. 8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. 9Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.” (continued)

You Can Know The Truth! by Myra Boozer

The world seems to be always be in a tizzy about something on and on they go. But to major on the minors is a real distraction from what we need our focus to be on. What should we be concerned about TODAY?

Truth is a main issue that keeps getting twisted in lies and more lies. Some things just get swept under the rug while others continue to be proclaimed from the roof top. But the bottom line is we need for Truth to prevail. The more we seek Truth, the more we can recognize lies when they are presented.

There is so much deception in our world. Every one seems to have their own song and dance routine. They dance to a different beat. Sometimes that beat is unsure, not clear, just not accurate, but because it is their drum and their inspiration they continue to beat.

I say it is time for us to find the Master Conductor and fall at His feet, so that we may get the correct notes and play the sound that the world needs to hear. No, everyone does not play the same notes and sometimes everyone stops for that loud sound of the cymbal. But in the whole scope of a beautiful masterpiece of music, everyone follows the conductor.

No one should be alone to play what ever sound he desires to play. All are united to play what the Master says to play. Time to get alone with the Master and know what He wants from us. As the Church we need to be playing a beautiful symphony. That is not what we are hearing, but for every Child of God to listen to the Conductor it can happen quickly.

I feel a change in the air for the people of God. I feel God is stirring hearts and bringing us into the unity of prayer. Prayer for repentance as a whole and prayer for the lost because our time is coming to a close. Our open window may be closing soon and there are still many who are not saved. It is time to pray! When we pray in fervency the windows of Heaven open and prayers will be answered. The Truth will be heard, souls will be saved, the work will be done and the Bridegroom will come for His Bride!

There Is A Change Coming!

The lyrics of a song by the Gaither Vocal Band has been especially stirring to me recently. The title of the piece is “Let It Start In Me.” The first line of the first verse states, “There’s a dawn arising on a brand new day.” This world has entered a new era. There’s a new feeling in the air, a feeling of something extraordinary just ahead, the conclusion of former things and all things becoming new. Paul states in 2 Cor. 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Paul proclaimed this truth to emphasize the affect of the new birth in Jesus Christ. However, we are poised at the culmination of all things. We are standing at the door of the most earth shaking event in human history.

There is a renewed expectation among God’s people, renewal of faith and trust in the promises of God. This is a “brand new day,” a day to reach for the very best God has for us. God sees all the way to the end and desires nothing but good for us.

There is no reason for the child of God to feel discouraged. He will walk with us to our final mortal breath. Paul said in 2 Cor. 4:8, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;” We may feel that we are pushed down but we cannot be defeated.

The Holy Ghost is calling us to rise up! Rise up in the anointing and commission of Jesus Christ and finish our mission here. Jesus said in Matt. 28:18, “...All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth...” Jesus established His position of power. He, who was in the beginning, who was a participant in the creation of all things. He, who is one of three persons in the Divine Trinity of God, spoke the Words of God and brought all creation to life, Gen. Chapter 1. He, who was from the beginning has now given His power to the Church, His called out body of believers with the Divine responsibility to GO and do what He has done. As the Church we must petition the Spirit of the Lord to come upon us and anoint us to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the broken, to bring deliverance to the captives, healing to the blind both spiritually and physically, and provide comfort for all who mourn.
