A Life Of Dead Rituals! by Myra Boozer

God is telling us something...He cares! He really cares for everything that concerns us. The Lord gave me this early one morning after I had been so sick. I got up out of bed three times as the Lord was impressing me to write. I am only sharing part. "Don't let your life become a routine of dead rituals. You will drown in a sea of dead deeds with no life and no resurrection. The living must live in the ‘now experience’ of Jesus Christ with a daily submission to His will for their life. Arise out of sleep and stand on the Banks of Resurrection where there is life, freedom and hope as fresh and new as the living waters that flow in the stream of your salvation. The dead are dead but the living are alive in Him. No more rituals. No more going through the motions. Rejoice in your new Freedom. Sing and be Glad!" Read it again and again because we must understand. Our salvation is new every morning. Jesus is calling us to awake from our FORM of godliness, from our cold and unfruitful life, from our downtrodden life and be whole and complete in Him. HE IS LIFE!

Colossians 2:6, “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:" This is the only way to be complete. All the searching and wandering will NEVER end in the desired result until one receives Christ and follows HIM. Following Jesus is never dull or boring. He is very much alive, refreshing and revitalizing (means to breathe new life into).

Don't get caught up in a list of traditional "must do's" in order to be a Christian. Remember, you can drown in the routine of dead rituals. True Repentance will make you alive in Christ Jesus. When you experience this radical change in your life, you will rejoice in your Freedom from sin and the bondage it had you in. You will want to tell someone, so tell them! You will want to read and study the Word, so take time for it. You will want to pray for others, not because it is your duty but because you have great compassion for them. You will want to worship so put your worship music on and spend time in the presence of the Lord. During this time, pour out your heart to Him. You don't have to be in church to worship. Worship is a matter of the heart. Never allow your love for God to grow cold. Remember, live in the "now experience" of Jesus Christ. Keep Your worship on! It is a great way to pray and praise the ONE you love, Jesus Christ! 

Except You Repent, You Will Perish!

Luke 13:1, “There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”

In this passage, Jesus issued a call to repentance! His attention was directed toward the sin of all men. Evidently there were some worshipers from Galilee who had been killed by Roman soldiers while they offered up their sacrifices in the temple. They were not worse sinners because this happened to them. The issue is that God had presented them with a New Testament or new covenant in Jesus Christ. The new covenant requires repentance for sins and turning to a new life in Christ. God promised through the writings of the Prophets that their Deliverer would come in His time. Luke acknowledged that in the book of Acts.

Acts 3:18, “But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; 20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.”

The prophecies by Old Testament prophets concerning the coming of Jesus Christ and what He would suffer were fulfilled perfectly. Jesus was crucified and rose from the grave becoming victorious over death. His disciples saw Him ascend into the heavens where He sits at the right hand of the Father. He will remain there until the time of the "restitution of all things." Then the prophecies concerning His Second Coming with be fulfilled perfectly just as the First Advent.

We are nearing the “restitution of all things.” The stage is set and the players are taking their places. God is moving the course of human events to the culmination of this age. Current events are a testimony to where we are as we approach the final curtain.

My prayer is that God will open our eyes to understanding the significance of what is happening now in our world and help us to see the urgency of His message. The world is doomed to eternal darkness except they turn to Jesus Christ in repentance. “Repent ye therefore...” Acts 3:19. 

Lord, You Are My Strength! by Myra Boozer

Psalm 22:19, “But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.”

Father God, I come to You in humble adoration for what You mean to me. You are my strength like no other. When the world comes crumbling down in front of me, when the enemy tries to flood my thinking with fear about the day in which we live, You Lord, come and hold me in Your arms of great comfort. You soothe all my doubts and calm all my fears. You hold my head up so I can breathe.

Lord, You know where we are and what is going on in this world. It does not take You by surprise because You have been here already. You are the beginning and the end! You are the everlasting and the glorious future.

I stand in awe of Your great power, Your love, and Your mercy that surrounds me. I know You abide in this place. I feel Your Spirit upon me. I am honored to live my life in Your presence and have Your strong arm of protection against the enemy. I am pleased to write Your Words when they overflow the banks of my mind. I am humbled to pray for the sick as compassion arises in my heart. I am blessed by Your voice that speaks unction and direction. I am honored to be called Your Child!

Today, I am asking for a greater anointing to speak to the Nations, to speak to the world around me. I want to speak to those who have a desire to know You, to hear what You are saying through what You give me to write. But, I need the strength of Your anointing! I am helpless, I am empty, I am nothing without Your anointing! When You come and sit with me, speaking directly to my heart, something arises and I feel such love and compassion for the world and those around me that need You. Lord, we really need You, not for the moment but for always and forever!

Lord, our babies are being destroyed before their time. Our youth are being shot down by those whose minds are confused and troubled, those who have not found faith or strength from family, friends, or this society. Our families are broken because of sin, many because of sinful sexual desires that have left the family broken without a mother or a father. This has caused so much anger and hopelessness. Many children are turning to drugs, sex, violence, and a life of crime.

Our government is in a heap of turmoil because of lies and deceit. Nothing new, just the same old politics that have gone deeper and deeper into corruption. This is causing great disturbance, with many harsh and hateful words being spoken even among friends and families.

Our world is struggling because there is such division and unrest among people. Many no longer want to be a people "Under God." They no longer want to recognize You in our schools or our society. They have cast You out and are looking to their own devious ways of doing things, which brings persecution to your followers.

Today my prayer is that You will send a strong desire in the heart of every believer to ARISE with Your power and declare Your Word to a lost and troubled world. Arise and declare a Word for the hour and an Anointing to break the bondage that has such a great hold on the multitudes. Luke 1:79, “To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” You Are My Strength! Strength Like No Other! 

Our Faith In God Remains Steadfast!

2 Chronicles 20:20, “And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. 21And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. 22And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. 23For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.”

The enemies of Judah rose up against her. Through prayer and supplication, King Jehoshaphat and the people petitioned God for His intervention. They placed their faith in God and He came to their aid ensuring them that “the battle is the Lord’s.” What they needed to do was follow His instructions. Their faith remained steadfast in the Lord God Jehovah and He delivered them without a single skirmish. The enemy destroyed themselves!

The future is uncertain but our faith in God is steadfast! Time is passing swiftly as all of creation rushes into eternity and God’s judgment! What lies before us only our heavenly Father knows. God knows where He is going and where He wants to lead us. He knows what He desires to happen in our world today. Paul exhorted the Church to pray for all men everywhere that they might lead a peaceable life in godliness and honesty. God’s desire is for all men to be saved. 1Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” Our Faith In God Remains Steadfast! 

Know The Enemy! by Myra Boozer

So much unrest in our world today! So much talk about people having a RIGHT to freedom of speech...even to disrespect our Country and what we STAND for...the things that were once recognized by our country as moral and sacred...the things that our Country upholds because God and His Word say so. When they are aborted, cursed, rejected, denied, protested against...even publicly disgracing the American Flag and National Anthem all because of hatred and rebellion, how can this be for the good of a people, a country, a nation? How can this be about Freedom?

Some people are on a Campaign to destroy all Freedom because they want the right to destroy those who uphold Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. When the Lion comes to live in your home, he is there for one reason, to eat your family. Do we allow that because "everyone," even lawbreakers should have free speech and act out however they desire? When this is regarded as acceptable, the Enemy wins. We lose!

Tolerance of All actions becomes a prison for the people of a nation. Where is Freedom in that? Don't allow every thought and every campaign to win you over. Don't be a friend to the enemy! His character is to destroy you! Know your enemy! Know those who stir up strife and bitterness. Know those who call good evil and evil good. Know those who do not respect life, born or unborn. Know those who leave God out of the equation and expect you to do the same. Know those who have come to steal, kill, and destroy! THEY ARE THE ENEMY...WE MUST NOT GIVE RIGHTS TO THE ENEMY...Know The Enemy! 

The Enemy Of Your Soul!

John 10:7, “Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Our enemy is Satan, the ruler of darkness. He is the thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. We must recognize his schemes and resist the onslaught of darkness which is enveloping this world. We must resist him with all the strength that God gives us, resist him and he must flee from us. James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

The conflict of good and evil has been around since man's rebellion in the Garden of Eden. We have only to read our history to see the ebb and flow of this war. The world climate has not come to its present state overnight. Through a process of years of devaluing human life, indifference to Biblical morals, and disrespect for Divine virtues, the enemy has brought us to where we are as a civilization. He has slowly penetrated every level of human life and had his way with little or no resistance. Consequently, he has destroyed empires, governments, states, churches, and families. His goal is to control every facet of life on this earth.

The enemy has slipped in unaware. It has seemed to be little things but they have become great things. Little things like taking prayer and Bible reading out of schools because it offended a small minority. Little things like a failure to take a public stand for the right under the Constitution to express our faith in the public arena. But it is a great thing. Slowly but surely the enemy has sought to silence the cry for truth and justice. It is a great thing to take the life of an unborn child. Their innocent blood is crying out to each and every generation, “Where is truth and justice?” How can the leadership of this country, those who are directly responsible for these heinous crimes, invoke the name of God? How can they look out over a public gathering and declare “God bless America?” They are heartless, cold, and calculating men and women with no feeling for the loss of innocent lives. Do you think God is going to overlook such egregious behavior? He didn't give a pass to the Israelites when they offered their own children on the altar of sacrifice with the Canaanites. Neither will He give this nation, any nation, or any people a pass either!

The call is to return to God and repent of our indifference to His leading. We must return to Biblical morals and God’s Divine principles for living life. Only then can we escape the Enemy of Our Souls! 

Jesus Is Always Near! by Myra Boozer

“When I walk by the wayside, He is along with me...Amid all my forgetfulness of Him, He never forgets me.” Thomas Chalmers

Oh the days that I look for Him, the days I think, where are you, Lord? I cry out to him, please come and fill my longings and let me know you are here. I wish I could remember that He is always near and never leaves me, but trouble overtakes me and my heart begins to break. Just for a moment, my forgetfulness rises up and I too despair as Peter did over the stormy weather. Peter was walking on the water to Jesus! Wow, but the winds were overwhelming to his mind. He must have actually forgotten the miracle that was happening right under his feet.

Matthew 14:28-31, "And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come and when Peter was come down out of the ship he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. BUT when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying Lord, save me."

How many times is God making a way when there seems to be no way? But one puff of wind from the evil one blows us right off track. We must be like Peter and CRY out in our desperation, "LORD save me." We must never forget that He is ever near when the enemy starts howling and putting up a fight. We must have our minds centered on Jesus and remember that he never changes. Jesus Is Always Near! "For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5 

Lord, Keep Us Safe Till The Storm Passes By!

Daniel 6:10, “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.”

The prophet Daniel was not so different from you and me. He lived in a time of displacement and captivity for his people. He struggled to remain at peace with his captors and remain true to the Lord God Jehovah. But, when he was forced to make a choice, he always chose God.

When Daniel knew that the decree was signed forbidding anyone to pray to any other god except King Darius, Daniel made an open show of his allegiance to God (Daniel 6:10). Daniel prayed as before! His prayer life was the foundation for his existence both present and future. When the enemy tested his love and loyalty to God, Daniel continued doing what he did every day. The die was cast and the pattern was established. Therefore, Daniel held to his faith in God and God delivered him.

The substance of our life in Christ must be established before the storm comes. We must know that the foundation of our life is built upon Jesus Christ and all other ground is sinking sand. Therefore, when the trials of life test us, we continue doing what we have always done. We pray and trust God and He will deliver us once again!

God reveals Himself and our future in Him during these times of intense trial. It is during those times that we seek guidance and rely so heavily upon Him. He uses our faith and our dependence on Him to lead us into our future with Him! Lord, Keep Us Safe Till The Storm Passes By!” 

Grace And Mercy Are Waiting For You! by Myra Boozer

People are leaving this world every day and going to their final destination. So much death, from little babies to the elderly. Ready or Not we will leave this world either by death or the Rapture. The big question is, “Are you ready to meet God?” Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus? Have you asked God to forgive you of your sins?

God has a great plan for your life here but if you seem to have missed it somehow, Grace and Mercy are still waiting for you to accept them. Forgiveness is still available for the asking. I know that sounds way too simple but God made it simple. Truth and Love have been waiting for you to open the door for them to come and invade your life like you cannot imagine. The power of the Holy Spirit wants to lift you above all the mundane living. He wants to set you on a path of Holy living where the river of Life flows freely for all who want to drink fresh, living waters. You will never thirst again!

If you are weighted down by a load of sin and regrets, it can be lifted by the prayer of repentance. You can be lifted by the wings of mercy to live in the realm of peace and joy. Yes, even in this life! There is Abundant Living for all who will surrender, give it up, let it go, and find what God has designed especially for you.

No, it will not always be easy! It will be hard, almost unbearable at times. But the road (this life) is so much easier to travel when Jesus is your personal guide and the responsibility to fix everything is not upon your shoulders alone. You will find that He is a constant help in time of need, always listening to your heart's cry and willing to carry you when you can't go on.

Jesus is never far from you and longs to be your dearest friend. He can give hope where there is none because of who He is. Seek Him while He may still be found! Isaiah 55:6, “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:” Grace And Mercy Are Waiting For You! 

Jesus' Love Pulls Back The Veil That Separates Is From God!

I began this day as I do every day in the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. I see that His love abounds everywhere even in the areas of our world that appear to be dominated by sin. But, Jesus’ love is there! A love that transcends all obstacles, and penetrates into the most remote and isolated crevices of life. Every area of human existence is held in the shelter of His hand.

Your need and my need is laid bare before Him. He knows where we are, what we feel, and what we dream. He sees each despairing thought and feels the anguish that we feel. He identifies with every human experience and emotion that has and will touch our lives. He left His throne in glory, and took upon Himself the form of human flesh so He can tell you today, “I have been where you are and I feel what you feel.” He experienced the human condition in the fullest sense yet without sin. Heb. 4:15, “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

He is saying to the whole human race, “I understand. I have made a way out. Believe on me as the scripture has said and be free.” You may feel trapped in a place you don't want to be. Give it all to Jesus! He has made a way of escape for you. Trust Him! He knows the way. He is the WAY! Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Look to Him and live! 

Come To Me! by Myra Boozer

“COME TO ME when you are hurting and I will soothe your pain. Come to Me when you are joyful, and I will share your Joy multiplying it many times over," from “Jesus Calling.”

If the things that bring us joy are things that are acceptable in the sight of the Lord, it is so easy to share them with Him. But, on the other hand, if we are taking pleasure from the things of this world, things that His word says not to partake of, then we cannot share those with Him. That is where we come up short. Because, His Word says "The Joy of the Lord is my STRENGTH," Neh. 8:10.

Are you Spiritually weak today? Check to see if you have been taking pleasure in the WRONG things. That could be your answer, especially, if you are seeking to be closer to the Lord and wanting to enjoy your life in Him. He has a plan and it works!

Matt. 11:28, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” 

Be Still And See The Salvation Of God!

Exodus 4:13, “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. 14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

“Lord Jesus Christ, I want to be still and hear Your Voice. Open our ears to hear Your Message for today. Bring forth in us Your Purpose and Will. Send Your Power to explode in the lives of those who will believe, sending forth the fragments of Your Glory penetrating the most formidable obstructions that Satan has built. Invade the darkness with the light of Your Presence, sending out disintegrating beams of Your Deliverance. As the rays of the sun warm and revive creation in the spring, may the rejuvenating Power of Your Love and Mercy call to life the sedentary soul. We pray this in the Name of Jesus, Amen!” 

Whose Work Are We Doing? by Myra Boozer

John 6:28, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."

"Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established," Proverbs 16:3. Whose work are we doing? Our work or the Lord's work? When life is all about "ME," I am suddenly overtaken by my thoughts, which causes me to be living my life for me.

If my heart is on the Lord and His plan for my life then my personal life becomes secondary and serving Him takes priority. I don't have to search for work...but yield myself to BELIEVE ON HIM and He will bring people and situations into my life that I can love and be a blessing to. That my friend is the GOOD LIFE...loving God and loving Others...that is His plan for us! Whose Work Are You Doing? 

Do We Really Want God's Help?

2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people...then I will hear from heaven...”

This verse is all about God intervening in the lives of His people. God wants us to invite Him into the affairs of our lives. He loves His creation and desires to intervene in our needs. In verse 13 God offers a litany of circumstances that would warrant His intervention. In this text, the first is, “If I shut up heaven that there be no rain...” He is literally addressing a physical lack of water. However, I believe we can also apply this in a spiritual sense and spiritual water. Jesus referred to Himself as being living water and referred to all that would believe on Him as having rivers of living waters flowing out of their belly. He was talking about His flowing through the believer by the Holy Spirit to give spiritual refreshment to all who are willing to receive.

I believe that our world is in need of spiritual rain, spiritual rain flowing from the throne of God, spiritual rain consisting of the power and presence of God in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit! How long has it been since we have seen a genuine move of the Holy Spirit? I’m not talking about an exhibition of emotions or a series of religious meetings fraught with a supposed divine encounter. What I am talking about is an undeniable, unmistakable, genuine move of the Holy Spirit that affects not only our emotions but also has an overwhelming effect on the way we talk, behave, and live. A work of God that changes attitudes as well as actions. A work of God that changes people, changes churches, changes communities, cities, states, and nations. God help us to lay hold on such a move of God!

For such a long time, the Church has been void of that intense, sustained, convicting presence of God. We must admit that we have walked away from God’s perfect will for us and His Church. We have become satisfied with a trickle of spiritual water when He wants us to experience a spiritual river. He wants to lead us out into the deep! He wants to bless His Church by His presence and He wants to flow out through His children by the Holy Spirit to bring His refreshing to a dry and thirsty land.

I suggest that our world is in the midst of a spiritual drought. The Holy Spirit is calling the Church to bring life-giving water to the thirsty and dying souls in this world. We can only do that as we seek for and participate in God’s intervention for the salvation of lost souls. Jude said, “...pulling them from the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”

In our beginning text, after solidifying His relationship with His people, God challenged them to trust and believe in Him. He said in verse 13, “If I shut up heaven that there be no rain...” and in verse 14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Are we willing to do our part so God can do His part? 

Who's Going To Tell Them? by Myra Boozer

Psalm 7:9, “Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. 10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. 11 GOD JUDGETH THE RIGHTEOUS, AND GOD IS ANGRY WITH THE WICKED EVERY DAY.” (emphasis added)

This may be hard and difficult for some Preachers to Preach. But, someone needs to tell the people if they live wickedly that God is angry. There is so much wickedness going on in our world. God is certainly not happy with them! You can read Psalms 7:12-16 and see what He has in mind for the wicked. Verse 16 states, "His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate." I thought there was an error but the word pate, according to Webster means the head, especially the top of the head. I believe it is time for REPENTANCE unless people want to meet an angry God. Who's Going To Tell Them? 

Who's In Charge?

Isaiah 40:21, “Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? 22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: 23 That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity. 24 Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble. 25 To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.”

We might look at the insanity that has captured the minds and souls of the nations and the peoples of this world and wonder, “Who is in charge?” Some people may look to world leaders to solve our problems and address the issues that plague our societies. Some may trust in the strategy of their political party to persevere in this struggle to overcome adversity and strife. Still others may trust in the power of their religion to get them through these dark times. All of these may provide a measure of limited assurance and stability in these troubling times but they cannot address the heart of the problem.

The solution to our problems goes much deeper than the symptoms of disruption that we see in our daily lives. What we observe are only the symptoms of a much deeper issue. The issue is the human heart has pulled away from its Creator and has chosen a separate path. The solution is to turn back to God in repentance and seek His intervention.

There is always hope for God’s intervention as long as there are people to pray! The devil is NOT running wild and unchecked even though it may appear to us that he is. He can only do what God permits him to do! We can take heart because God is still very much in control! However, God responds to our actions. 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” The question is are we willing to do our part so God can do His part. 

Cry Out Against The Shedding Of Innocent Blood! by Myra Boozer

Isaiah 59:7, “Their feet rush into sin; they are swift to shed innocent blood. They pursue evil schemes; acts of violence mark their ways. 8 The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks along them will know peace.”

Our hearts continue to be burdened for the suffering of innocent souls living in our world. Innocent souls who are suffering unimaginable horrors and death at the hands of vicious, wicked people. My heart cries out to God for Divine intervention and deliverance for these precious treasures!

I know it is so very hard to comprehend what others are going through unless we are in the same situation. I can hear, in the distance, the cries of the children and the parents who have seen their homes destroyed, the ones who lost every single thing they owned. I can see the heartbreak in my mind of the families who had to leave their homes because of the fires or floods, bombs, or enemy. But in no way can I experience the utter hopelessness that they are feeling. I cannot know the anguish of the parents who saw their children killed by people who get enjoyment from killing the innocent, the Christians, the Jews. I could not know unless I am standing in their shoes.

God, please send a strong revelation upon YOUR people to cry out against the shedding of innocent blood today. Just because you and I are not in the middle of severe storms, calamity, disaster, revolution, upheaval, war or killing does not mean it cannot come near to where we are, to our neighborhood. We are not exempt from what is coming on this earth because of sin.

Daniel says, "it shall be for the time appointed." When will it come to us? We do not know. God help us to be mindful of the suffering and the dying in our world. God, give us your compassion for intercession! This is so important, to love others and pray for them in their sufferings.

Will you join with us and cry out to God against the shedding of innocent blood. Just as the righteous blood of Able cried out from the very ground covering him, I pray that the shed blood of the innocent will proclaim to Almighty God of heaven and earth, “How long will this continue?” My soul is screaming, “God have mercy on us all.” I pray that the prayers of the saints will bombard heaven bringing Divine intervention! May God bless you for praying! 

God Will Address The Evil Of Apostate Religion! Conclusion

God was getting ready to administer His judgment upon this wicked government and apostate religion and He wanted Elijah to know his role. God was compelled to let him know what He was preparing to do. God was not finished with Elijah just yet and wanted Elijah to know that He still had large numbers of the faithful who had not bowed to Baal. Elijah had a role in bringing God's plan to its completion. God said, go and anoint Hazael to be king over Syria, Jehu to be king over Israel, and Elisha to be the prophet in Elijah's place (1 Kings 19:17-18).

God’s purpose was to turn the heart of Israel back to Himself! The Apostate Religious rituals offered on her altars were the epitome of Evil and He was setting the stage for judgment of the spiritual leadership. Those responsible for the perpetrated Evil were suddenly and utterly destroyed.

God is setting the stage to perform a cleansing in the earth. The apostate religious rituals offered on the altars of many churches today are the epitome of evil. God is preparing for judgment of the spiritual leadership. Those responsible for the evil perpetrated will find themselves suddenly and uttering lost, turned into desolate darkness where deliverance is not possible. 2 Peter 2:13, “...Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; 14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: 15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;”

The time for correction and change is now! Just as God gave Israel the opportunity to confess and profess the sovereignty of God, He is calling all who will hear to return to the straight and narrow path. Who will heed His call? Luke 13:24, “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:” God Will Address The Evil Of Apostate Religion!

Many are talking about the reprieve that we in America have been given, a short window, the interval during which something can be done. No one knows how long this window will be open. It's not a pretty picture because evil raises its ugly head when the Word of God is spoken through the reading or quoting of the Bible or sung by an anointed ambassador of Jesus Christ.

When hearts are touched and tears are shed, when wrongs are made right and paths are made straight the enemy gets MAD. He’s angry enough to destroy property and set fires, to curse and talk of bombings, to pull innocent people into their arena and plunder this country with filthy talk and posters. They are degrading this country by declaring the right to take innocent lives, to adamantly go against the Laws of God, and push their agenda to be free to commit murder.

Some are saying it is time for actions from the Christians. Our actions must come from our Commander-in-chief. His Word tells us that the Battle is the Lord's! We are only to be ready with our armor in place, ready to Stand and be the Standard that the Lord himself will raise up against this flood of the enemy.

We are to sanctify (set apart unto the Lord) ourselves by submitting ourselves to God so God can use us in this last day's Harvest of souls. We must be fueled by the fire of the Holy Spirit and armed with the Word of God, loving the sinner but hating the sin, becoming the Light on the hill for all to see Jesus in us.

We know how this all ends! Good will win! Truth will prevail over evil! Justice will be served BUT those not repentant will be doomed. So, the battle cry is to stand in the power of HIS might and speak HIS Truth. Don't seek revenge because vengeance is mine saith the Lord. Souls are at stake and we must be wise during this hour to proclaim the word of God. According to the book of Acts, we need to give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. As God shut the door in the Ark, He will shut this window and no man will be able to open it. Time to get READY while we have An Open Window! (note: this was written some time ago but is still relevant to our day). 

God Will Address The Evil Of Apostate Religion!

1 Kings 18:21, “And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.”

The cause of Israel’s idolatry had to be addressed. Jezebel had infected the pure worship of Jehovah with the idol worship of her ancestral god, Baal. She used her position as queen to force all of Israel to worship Baal. The time had come for Israel to choose who they would follow and the evil influence of apostate religion had to be eliminated. Elijah ordered that all the priests of Baal be killed to rid the kingdom of their evil influence. Good call, right?

1 Kings 19:1, “And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword.” Jezebel promised to do to Elijah what he had done to her priests and he ran for his life. He found himself all alone hiding away in a deep dark cave but it was there that he encountered the Almighty Lord God Jehovah. 1 Kings 19:12, “And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. 13And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?”

There are two issues that Elijah was challenged to address. One, how could he justify his hasty retreat in the face of such a victory at Mt. Carmel? And second, could he be used by God to finish his mission? Elijah began to justify his behavior and defend his cowardly retreat. He had been very zealous for God when the children of Israel had forsaken His covenant. They turned to the worship of Baal, having thrown down the altars of the Lord and slain the prophets of God. Elijah proclaimed that he was the only one left therefore they sought to take his life. God assured Elijah that there were “7000” who had not bowed to Baal or worshiped his image. God's command was to return to action and finish what God had started. (continued) 

Do You Know The Love Of Jesus? by Myra Boozer

Do you know the love of Jesus? Has He come into your life and brought peace where confusion and turmoil once lived? Has He come with His whisper of the love that He has for you and your family? Has He given you joy beyond measure, sharing with you the abundance of the heavenly rain that covers all souls that delight in Him? Do you feel His arms of security and confidence in His plan for your life, instead of feeling like a lost ship on the sea of time? Do you awake each morning with the hope that today you will be able to share the good news with the world that so desperately needs it...all because you know JESUS, the author of good news? Do you have a laughter that comes from a deep, deep well of living water that springs forth giving life?

Do you know the love of Jesus? The compassionate one who feels every heartache, and sees every tear that falls from your eyes. Do you know this man who gave His very life so that you would not have to receive punishment for the sin of Adam born in each of us? Do you know Him? Do you know that He is coming to take those who love Him to live with Him forever in a place that eyes have not seen and ears have not heard? There is nothing on earth to even compare.

Jesus is the one who picks me up and turns me around. He puts me on solid ground when I feel dizzy from the hustle of this life. He is the one I depend on to give me strength. He is the one who gives me HOPE that no matter what may come, no matter what may happen I can be FAITHFUL to Him and TRUST Him for the outcome. Do You Know The Love Of Jesus? 

Take This Whole World But Give Me Jesus!

Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

“In the morning when I rise, give me Jesus.” So goes the lyrics of one of my favorite songs. Jesus is my Beginning and He will be my End. He is my Sustainer and my Provider. Though I pass through this intense darkness, He is my Light and my Salvation. I may not know the next step to take but He is my Guide and gives me perfect peace in the turmoil. He will speak to this storm and declare “PEACE BE STILL.” He restores the strength of my soul and causes me to rise up on wings as an eagle. He makes me to soar high above the conflict in this world, separated from the struggle. He keeps me in the hallow of His hand and Nothing can pluck me from His saving grace.

That is the power of His abiding presence! Power to push back the evil and darkness that has captured the innocence of life and destroyed so many precious souls. The power of His presence in me enables me to declare in the Name of Jesus, “YOU SHALL PROCEED NO FURTHER.” There is power in the Name of Jesus over all that comes against me. As He abides in me and I in Him, He will vanquish every foe and cause me to triumph over every evil plan of the enemy. Oh! Victory in Jesus, my Savior forever! He will keep me in perfect peace as my focus is on Him! That Peace is my total Freedom Forever! Amen! Take this whole world, just Give Me Jesus!

I will search for you as a newborn baby searches for his mother's milk. I will rely on you to take care of me...

I will rise early and sit with you before the demands of the day push you aside and leave me anxious, frustrated, and feeling hopeless...

I will wait for you with my eyes wide open. I won't allow the rushing waters of distraction to drown me and cause me to miss your appearing…

I will stay in close communion with you, waiting for your response and listening for your voice...

I will sing your song of sweet redemption, your song of new life...the song of life over death... the one that brings me freedom...

I will remember who you are and the price you paid for me. You purchased me with your blood and I am yours...

I will remember to whom I belong, Until You Come!

Jesus Will Return When The World Least Expects It!

Matthew 24:44, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

Today, we stand at the door of the most important event in our lifetime. We are preparing for the appearance of the Son of God, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ! Our challenge is to make ready the bride to be united with the bridegroom. She will be chaste, pure, and an undefiled virgin bride prepared for her husband.

The external forces in our world are pressing in upon the boundaries of holiness and righteousness that are firmly established in God's Holy Word. The ideals of a carnal theology have infiltrated the pulpit and diluted the faith that was once delivered to the saints. But the Holy Spirit is the keeping power of the Body of Christ. He will lead and guide us into the Truth of His Word and sustain us until He comes!

There are many voices claiming to speak for God. Although God uses human vessels to share His message, we need to know Him for ourselves. We must know God through an intimate relationship so we can hear directly from Him. God will speak to His children and give the guidance that we need!

The Holy Spirit and the Word will teach us the Truth. The Holy Spirit will help us to understand the events we are seeing take place in our world every day. When we read God's warnings in His Word and see the events around us lining up with the Word, we must conclude that we are living in the End Time and approaching the culmination of all things. The Body of Christ will be ready and waiting for Christ’s return. The world will not be prepared! Which group do YOU belong to? 

Who Will Be Ready? by Myra Boozer

Hebrews 9:28, “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

"What kind of people must we be to be ready for the return of the Lord and to enter the kingdom of heaven with Him?" There are many answers to be given. The one that stays with me so much is...We must be watching and waiting for Him (carrying out His commission). He is coming for those who are looking for Him!

We must be set apart from this world and separated from its hold on us. We must be in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ so as to want to be with Him. Not just use Him as an escape route to "get out of " what is coming upon this world in the form of judgment because of sin and wickedness. Luke tells us, "Watch out! Don't let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don't let that day catch you unaware, like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth. Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man," Luke 21:34-36 (NLT).

We must have ears to hear and recognize His voice when He gives us direction...also to hear the trumpet sound...not everyone will hear that sound. We must be ready to go with Him. The Word says to be alert, not dulled by careless living.

Do we love the Bridegroom? Are we laying aside every weight that would hinder us from being ready? Are we watching for His coming? The Truth about the Rapture gives us great incentive to deny worldliness and live holy and righteously today because He could come today.

Don't let anything sedate you. Stay watchful! This world can pull you in by its luring bait which looks all pretty and innocent but it is a trap and not easy to escape once you have bought into it. Jesus said "And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things, entering in, choke the word, and it become unfruitful," Mark 4:19. 1 John 2:15 tells us to “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” Who Will Be Ready? 

Who Left The Gate Open? Conclusion

At present, we are in the battle of our lives as we stand against the evil that has been unleashed upon our world. What we are experiencing did not come about overnight. This has been in the making for decades. The Wolf, Satan, has moved quietly but intently among the flock doing his treacherous work. But, his work has taken on a new level of intensity because he knows he only has a short time to work.

There is a monstrous storm gathering and is even now forming into a catastrophic event. Those who can’t weather the storm will be broken off! There will be casualties in the ensuing conflict. We cannot allow ourselves to be driven by the winds of this world. We must know the TRUTH and stand upon the TRUTH. Ephesians 4:14, “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;”

The days ahead will require that we have and maintain a real experience in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our faith in Him will be put to the test and even now the battle has become more intense. You can feel it in your spirit! This is all an attack by Satan and his demons from hell. But, greater is He that lives within me than he that is in the world.

We must maintain a healthy connection to Jesus Christ. Jesus said Himself, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing,” John 15:5. All our strength comes from Him. If our relationship with Christ remains vibrant and healthy, He will sustain us through any storm. Otherwise, the storm will break us and we will be like so much discarded refuse! God have mercy upon us! 

The Enemy Is At The Gate! by Myra Boozer

I believe the enemy is at the gate! He is like a roaring lion seeking to devour whomever he can. If there is anyone thinking of becoming a warrior, IT IS TIME! If anyone is thinking of giving up, turning in their armor, backing out, and running scared, IT IS NOT THE TIME! We have too much at stake, our lives and the lives of those we love dearly. Who would not fight for those they love? Stand in the strength of the Lord. Let not your heart be troubled! For the child of God, the battle is almost over. The King is about to call the Warriors and all those who love Him to come up higher! 

Who Left The Gate Open?

John 10:12, “But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.”

The hireling has left the door open and the wolf, Satan, has entered in and made havoc of the flock. However, we cannot continue down this path. We must rise up in the power of the Holy Spirit and take back what the enemy has stolen. You might ask, “What has he stolen?” He has taken our families and our homes. He has taken our schools and educational systems. From there he has taken control of our local governments, state governments, national and international governments. Over the period of the last few decades, Satan has moved God out of these institutions and governing bodies and he almost does at will what he wants when he wants. Except for the “Restrainer!”

2 Thessalonians 2:6, “And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”

God is still in control and His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, is still restraining the full-blown takeover by Satan and his world of darkness. That time is coming and is quickly approaching but God will determine when! (continued) 

Be A Faithful Watchman! by Myra Boozer

It seems the weathermen are kinda like the prophets of old and of today...warning us...telling us what is taking place and what is about to happen...telling us when conditions are favorable for "Disaster." When the people heed their voice they are usually safe. If not, they may suffer days of hardship even death.

The prophet only knows in part and prophecies in part. You see, God is the Sovereign One. He is above all others for He is God of heaven and earth. I do know that He makes decisions that are sometimes based on what people do. If people pray He listens. If people repent, He forgives. If people seek restoration, He restores. When people humble themselves, He heals their land. If they don't, the only alternative is spiritual death.

I think the hardest job ever is to be a watchman on the wall, to be the one who has to share the bad news. "Trouble is coming! Wake up and get Ready, Jesus is Coming! Judgment is at the door." The watchman knows he must do his job and declare what he sees coming. He also knows it is ALL in the hands of our Sovereign God as to when these things take place and where.

Habakkuk 2:1-3, "I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."

Don't be afraid to stand your watch and share what God has shared with you from His Word. But be warned, 2 Peter 3:3-4, "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation."

Don't grow weary in well doing. "Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee," I Timothy 4:16. Be A Faithful Watchman! 

A Christ Centered Message!

There are many issues in our world that could warrant our participation to alleviate the suffering all around us. Our world is in full-blown crisis and needs an intervention. We need the intervention of the Lord Jesus Christ. We will never be able to do enough to address all the needs but Jesus can and will heal the hurt of all mankind if we will allow Him. What does He require? A repentant heart and a submitted life. Jesus Christ would have us to give our all to Him that He can draw all men to the cross. John 12:31, “Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. 32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” Our message must be centered on Jesus Christ!   

Christ-centered ministry is built upon the foundation of selflessness. Jesus’ example was that of total selfless demeanor in word and deed. His concern was for the wholeness of the human race rather than His own comfort and gratification. Consequently, our future is predicated upon the delivery of the Gospel message, the message of salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for the sins of all mankind. The Gospel is the solution for the present human condition. The Gospel is what the world needs to hear. Any other message is of little effect. What the world needs now is to experience the love of God in Christ. Only the blood of Jesus can deliver from the chains of sin and death. We must approach this divine mandate in total surrender asking God the question “What would you have me to do.” It is necessary for self to die if we are to answer Him honestly. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you! Give Him your plan and allow Him to include you in His! 

What Should We Be Doing Until The Lord Returns? by Myra Boozer

In Matthew, the 25th chapter, Jesus gives parables that could help us to know what should be priority for the child of God. First, He tells of ten virgins and at midnight the cry was made, "Behold the Bridegroom cometh." He tells us five were wise and five were foolish. Now what was it that made them different? It was their lack of oil. Five ran out and asked to borrow from those five who had oil. The wise had to answer NO. This shows us we cannot give away what we have. Each person has to receive for themselves. When they couldn't borrow they had to leave to find more oil and the bridegroom came while they were gone.

In verse 10, "And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were READY went in with him to the marriage: and the door was SHUT." This makes me think of Noah and the Ark. God shut the door to the Ark when it was time and that was all that went in. There will be no allowances for the procrastinators, the lazy, the apathetic or the careless.

We must be WISE and be filled with His Spirit, as the oil represents the Holy Spirit. We must be watching and waiting. We must stay the course! No playing around, running here and there, doing other things that can so easily beset us. The wise virgins stayed near the door and when the bridegroom came they were READY. So, we must constantly be Watching for His Return and Listening for His sound!

Matt. 25:13, "WATCH therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." My heart says, it won't be long until we hear the sound. Lord help us to be full and overflowing with Your Holy Spirit, Ready to leave when You Return! 

An Elephant In The Room!

Matt. 24:38, “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

In spite of Noah's warning, this verse describes the reckless way that the people went on their usual course, pursuing their pleasures with doom hanging over them. Life continued as though nothing was amiss. The world was on a collision course with the judgment of God because of sin and disobedience. God gave them warning and opportunity to repent but they laughed at the message and mocked the messenger. For 120 years God left the door of redemption open but when time (God's time) was up, He closed the door to salvation.

The people of Noah's day “knew not until the flood came.” They would not receive the message of the coming judgment. Their attention was upon their own carnal pleasures. Flesh was the driving force in their lives rather than care of the soul.

The Lord Jesus assures us that similar recklessness and unbelief will be found at His coming. We are living in the day that Jesus talked about. The conditions in our world parallel those of Noah's time. The general attitude toward the last days message is that of unbelief and a false security that refuses to heed any warning. Life continues as though nothing is amiss. Mankind continues to seek his way of life which is focused on selfish, carnal desires. He lives in pursuit of another enticement that will thrill the senses. All he sees is the momentary pleasure, the temporary highs. He doesn't see that he is sowing carnal seeds that will be brought into judgment. Our world is on a collision course with the judgment of God.

Noah's ark was set in the middle of their daily lives. You might say it was like an elephant in the room. How could they walk around it everyday and still ignore the message of God. It sat before them as visual reminder that God's judgment was coming. They looked at Noah working every day but refused the message of salvation. Why did they do that? Because they were driven by the temporary pleasures of this life. They could not believe that anything would change what they perceived to be in their future. God made believers out of them but it was too late when it started to rain. The door to their salvation had been shut by the hand of God and no one could open it.

Just as God brought judgment in Noah's generation, He is in the process of doing the same in our world. The greatest failure of a man is to exclude God from his life. You can allow what is coming to do the work of conviction and repent by accepting Jesus in salvation. Or, you can continue in your own way, failing to heed God's warning, and suffer the same destruction of Noah's day. Judgment is coming! We will reap what we have sown. Hear Jesus' voice today, repent and be saved!!! 

All For The Glory Of God! by Myra Boozer

I had this awesome experience about five years ago! I share it here “All For The Glory Of God.” Just as the worship music swelled and the sun spread its crystal clear light through the trees, I raised my hands in glorious worship and the LORD TOUCHED ME. Thank you Jesus! He really touched me!! I proclaim, He touched me! Thank you Jesus!

I had told the Lord during the early morning hours, "I have gone my limit, I can't deal with this pain!" I must have you Jesus because I don't know what to do! This was on a Thursday morning. I was instantly touched! The pain left and I slept like a baby Thursday night with no pain! But, on Saturday at 3 a.m. I began to get restless and not sleeping, couldn't get comfortable. The pain started to give me misery every way I turned, so I was up fairly early and I put my worship music on and this is what I saw again. With my hands lifted high, I began to praise God and declare my healing, as I watched the Sun break forth into my room and most importantly into my heart. This gave me so much hope...that I never walk alone...that He is always near and He listens when I call.

Sometime Saturday night before I was awakened at 3 a.m., I had a short dream...and I believe it applies to my healing. I will say before I start...I HATE SNAKES...just so you know. In this dream, I had a small baby snake in my hands. It was very cold and I wanted to warm it up (what???). So, I placed it on my chest next to my skin...and tried to warm it. The next thing I remember, it clamped down on my left forefinger and would not let go. I was not in pain or afraid, but I saw the snake in a different light and I wanted it OFF my finger. It took a while but it finally came off. That is all I remember.

This is the meaning I received...sometimes pain wants to come back and reside in our body...it comes as small pain...not like it was before (vicious) but you know, it is the same pain...you begin to reason with it and think, oh I can take a Tylenol with thoughts of, "I may continue to have a little pain," and before you know it... that pain has latched back on with vengeance...not willing to let go. I must see the enemy as the enemy and recognize him for who he is. “Never give up and never give in to your enemy,” is a great rule!

I got up with a determination to seek the Lord at my window again and raise my hands in worship to the ONE who Heals. I have made it good all day. "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me," Philippians 4:13 KJV.

I have continued to open my blinds and raise my hands to give God the glory. I praise Him in my battle with pain. I am not willing to give up! I press on and I will continue to claim my healing in the LIGHT of His pure redemption! Thanks be unto God who gives us the VICTORY!!! Today I have Victory in Jesus because I trust Him to help me every day that I live. No, I haven't been pain-free all the time but neither have I given up. I will continue to call on the Lord and keep trusting in Him! I am determined to not lean on my own understanding because when I do, I am helpless. I live in the power of His might and continue to spread His good news because He strengthens me! All for the Glory of God! 

I Will Declare The Glory Of God!

Psalm 19:1, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. 2Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5 which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. 7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.”

The heavens declare the glory of God. All nature proclaims the majesty of His Sovereignty. The mere combination of the elements of the universe attests to the magnificence of our Creator. Oh, that we had a thousand tongues to proclaim His majesty and glory to all generations. I will shout unto the Lord! I will call unto Him who is able to deliver from all the best-laid plans of the enemy. I will call unto Him from the mountain tops. I will call unto Him from the valley below. He will always hear my cry! He will always answer me!

Psalm 27:1, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. 4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. 5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. 6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.”

I will not be consumed by the darkness of this world. God is the light of my salvation. He will lead me to that rock that is higher than I. His strength, His power, His Love, and His Grace are a shelter in time of the storm. The forces of darkness must bow low to the Sovereign Light of Glory. His light dispels all darkness. Walk in His Light and the darkness dissipates at the sheer magnitude of His Glory. Walk in His Light as all evil will bow before His Throne.

All Creation must declare the Glory of God and that includes You and Me!

When we know God is fighting for us,

All is Well...

When we know God is in control,

All is Well...

When we know God is the Victor,

All is Well! 

God Knows The Way We Should Take!

Job 23:10, “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. 11 My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. 12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.”

As I observe the behavior of the world around me, I must conclude there seems to be a mad dash of lost humanity into their eternal destiny without regard for the preservation of their eternal souls. Life is precious and a gift from God. No one has the right to take away that gift!

We are living in an era when a majority of people support the killing of innocent children in the womb and then are horrified when someone takes a gun to school and massacres those innocent lives. Our world has created an atmosphere in which reverence for life has been greatly diminished for some and for others it is destroyed altogether. The weight is heavy upon us to sound the alarm and awaken lost humanity to the consequences of our apathy in this arena of life. We cannot attach value to life in one instance while devaluing life in another! We are reaping the result of our inconsistencies.

It is time to take a stand! As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must proclaim the call of God to come back to the principles of His Word. The path before us is unknown, however, the way ahead is not uncharted territory. We have never been this way before, but we can proceed with full assurance that God knows where we are going. God has something to say and a work to perform in this generation! If we have covenanted to walk with Him, we are going where He is going. God has gone before us and created our map in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Way! John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” If we follow Him, He will lead us in His path. He knows the way we should take!

There is no need to flounder in a climate of indecision when the answer is with us. Let us not be deterred by the uncertainties that lie before us but concern ourselves with the cause of Jesus Christ. He loves each and every person and has placed great value on each soul by giving His own life to bring life to the lifeless. We may not know the specifics of our future but we can be sure that if our faith is in the saving grace of the cross, we will finish well! God Knows The Way We Should Take! 

Don't Follow The Crowd! by Myra Boozer

When we FOLLOW the LORD, we will NOT FOLLOW the CROWD. We will take a different path, the path of Holy living, Holy speech, Holy thinking, Holy conduct, and Holy attitude. God said in His word, be ye Holy as I am Holy. Christ is coming for a holy people, a holy Church without blemish. Ephesians 5:27, "That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle or any such thing but that it should be holy and without blemish."

I was taught at an early age that if in doubt about something, don't do it. If it seems to be wrong it probably is! If it doesn't bring Glory and Honor to God, leave it. Now, the crowd doesn't understand that kind of talk. They have delighted in making their rules. Do what feels good to you. Don't concern yourself about what God or anyone else might think.

If you have been following the crowd, you still have time to get out of that trap. But, I will say you can't do it on your own. You must fall upon your knees in repentance and trust God to show you the way. He says in His Word, there is a way that seems right unto man but the end is destruction. That is why we can't trust ourselves. We must have Christ to clean our hearts and our minds in order to know what He requires, in order to have ears to hear His voice.

Our guessing and hoping that we are on the right path isn't good enough. The Lord purchased our salvation and He knows the path that leads home. Unless He leads, guides, and directs our ways, we might as well stay with the crowd. This sounds strong but it is time we give strong Godly advice, because "the world" is creating strong delusion (false belief).

GOD HELP US ALL TO STAY ON THE PATH OF RIGHT LIVING...IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO BE SAVED. John chapter 10 explains to us that Jesus is the good shepherd. He gave his precious life for His sheep. He knows His sheep by name and when He calls them they FOLLOW Him...and another they will NOT FOLLOW.

If the path you're on seems crowded with lots of happy-go-lucky people...not concerned about the day we're living in...if they are still talking the same ole talk and walking the same ole walk...YOU are definitely FOLLOWING THE CROWD. "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it," Matthew 7:14. Don’t Follow The Crowd! 

The Old Life Will Pass Away!

2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”

We must experience spiritual transformation! What God has purposed will require the power of the Holy Spirit to transform this fleshly tabernacle into a spiritual habitation for Himself. “Transformation is a complete or major change in someone's or something's appearance, form, etc.”

This process begins with the first step to salvation which is repentance. Acts 3:19, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” Peter was addressing the Jewish unbelievers regarding their rejection and crucifixion of Jesus, their Messiah. This comes after the healing of the lame man at the gate of the temple. The people marveled at this act. However, Peter said, you did what you did through ignorance but God revealed His coming through the mouth of the prophets and that Christ should suffer and die. Therefore repent of your ignorance and sinful disobedience and be restored. Through this message, God was giving them another chance for redemption. Repentance is not only a change of mind but a change of heart brought about by the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in a penitent soul.

This transformation is initiated by the renewing of the mind. The Word states, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Phil. 2:5. Have the mind of Christ rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, and continuing instant in prayer. Walk in this life in Divine communion with the Father having continued access to His strength, power, wisdom, and deliverance.

We cannot think like the world thinks and walk like the world walks and expect to be a citizen of the Kingdom of God and walk in unrestricted communion with Him. That is why we must experience a change in our temporal mindset, a spiritual transformation brought about by the Holy Ghost in response to our obedience and submission to Him. We are regenerated by the Holy Spirit to walk in intimate, holy, and unrestrained relationship with God. What a gift God has given to all who will believe His promise in Jesus Christ! The Old Life Will Pass Away! 

God Is Amazing! by Myra Boozer

It is so very hard to comprehend what others are going through, because all situations are different. But I can faintly hear, in the distance, the cries of the children and parents who have seen their homes destroyed. The ones who lost every single thing they owned. Some have lost family members but many lives have been spared in all these catastrophic events. It is amazing to me to see the devastation and how people survived. Thru these events many have learned what is really important to them, "their lives and the lives of family and neighbors."

I heard of a two year old comforting his Mother during the loss of everything in the California fires. He said, "it will be okay." I have heard our grand's say so many times, "I'm okay," so I understand how precious those words were to that Mom.

The daughter-in-law who, while cleaning from the floods in Texas, found the family Bible opened to Solomon's Song 8:7.  "Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned," (meaning is scorned). When shown this the elderly woman said, "Isn't the Lord amazing. He always gives us exactly what we need, when we need it. Praise the Lord."

Just because you and I are not in the middle of the raging fires, severe storms, floods, calamity or the horror of mass killings, does not mean it cannot come near to where we are and to our neighborhood. We are not exempt from what is coming on this earth in these Last Days. Daniel speaks of "it shall be for the time appointed." When will it come to us? We do not know. God help us to be mindful of our relationship with Him and ready to meet Him if something happens. It is most important, to love God and others. We need to pray for those suffering. Pray for their understanding of God and who He is. Pray they will cry out to Him during these uncertain days. Pray for those who do not have a personal relationship with Christ, that they will seek Him and find Him.

The Lord is near to the broken hearted. He calls them to come to Him to allow Him to comfort, strengthen and renew their HOPE, to show them what He requires. If they will be willing and obedient they too can be like the woman in Texas saying, "Isn't the Lord amazing? He always gives us exactly what we need when we need it. Praise the Lord." 

My God Is Awesome!

You are mighty Oh God in the midst of your people. Who can stand against Your beloved as You dwell among them? How Great and Mighty You are, Your Wonders ready to perform. Is anything too difficult for You? “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” Jeremiah 32:17. There is nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing that God can’t do. Put your faith and trust in Him today!

"Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit of God, when I survey the awesomeness of who you are, I stand in wonder of your person. You are the Creator of all things yet you are my Father. You are the Life and Sustainer of all things created yet you are my Life and more abundantly. You are my Way, my Truth and my Life. In you I live and move and have the entirety of my being. You are the power of Almighty God inhabited within the person of the Holy Spirit as witnessed in the book of Acts. Yet you are my Strength, my Power, my Comforter, and my Teacher. You are the Divine and Magnanimous Person who inhabits all of eternity yet you are my Friend, my Companion, my Heart and my Soul. There is no one like you!”

Psalm 46:1, “...God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.
