God Will Confirm His Revelation By His Anointing!

There is a delicate balance in pursuing God into His revelation and pursuing our own inspiration. The determining factor is the anointing of the Holy Ghost. God will anoint His revelation and Holy Ghost inspiration but He will not anoint inspiration that is born out of our human intellect. His anointing signifies recognition and approval. We must secure the anointing of God upon our message. If not, our message is not God's message. The goal for all should be to be one with Christ in desire, purpose, and message.

There is much to be said about the influence of our religious heritage. However, we can’t be stuck (consumed) in religious tradition but neither can we lose the spiritual virtue of past generations. It is important to understand that all of us are continuing to evolve into the people that God desires that we become. And just as important that we understand that the Bride of Christ continues to evolve. Ephesians 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”

Paul says that Christ loves the Church and gave Himself for it that the process of making herself ready might be accomplished by the washing of the Word. God's plan for the Body is established in the Word. It will not change but we, the frail human characters that we are, must find His perfect plan for us. He will confirm His revelation by His anointing!

The World Must Hear God's Truth! by Myra Boozer

Why do many churches compromise, neglect, forget and even reject the Bible standard? Many churches didn't start out that way...but little by little the compromise began...slowly the TRUTH was neglected and forgotten until in many cases, completely REJECTED.

It truly breaks my heart to see so many falling away from THE TRUTH that was once delivered to the saints. This is a prominent SIGN of the last days...many are following those who crept in unaware and diluted, watered down the teachings of Jesus Christ. Those who changed the meaning of what the Word actually says to fit their own lustful desires. Innocent people in search of TRUTH will blindly follow those who are ungodly, unholy, unrighteous, those speaking lies and taking advantage of people. We are warned in the Word to be aware of such people and have no part with them.

2 Peter chapter 2 speaks of these false prophets. People deserve TRUTH! TRUTH should be prevalent in every church preaching Jesus Christ because He said, I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, John 24:6. Be aware...it is NOT being taught! People have followed their own ways and still operate under the guise of being "Christian Churches."

BUT know this...we have the WORD OF GOD...get into the WORD, study and know for yourself what God expects from you...turn your life over to him, seek Him until you are filled with His Spirit. It takes His Spirit to understand His Word...then listen to His voice. In all your ways acknowledge HIM, obey HIM. He said He would direct your paths and lead you in TRUTH...

Unwise To Justify The Wicked! 2 by Myra Boozer

There is a strong attitude that seems to prevail in our world today. If you love me, you will condone my lifestyle. You must accept me the way I have chosen to live and if you don't, I just might do something that you will regret. This is such a horrible attitude. It originates in the pit of Hell and came from Satan himself.

We are living in a time of great confusion and deception. Many are falling for the lie and deception that however they want to live is acceptable and should be celebrated by all the world. God’s Word declares that to be wrong! We have been given the rules for our lives in the Word of God. God is our creator and our sustainer. The one who gives us the breath we breathe. He also holds the keys to life and death and no man can change that! He is God and what He says is the way it is, without argument.

Mark 12:29, “And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these." KJV

There is only One God and He is the one we should love, honor and respect. He has given us the guidelines and boundaries for our lives. When we go against God’s standard, we are asking for trouble. God is patient but His Word declares what we sow we will reap! Yes, we are to love our neighbor as our self. But, not to the degree that we would justify any sin or disobedience to God's Word. Loving another person does not mean that you are to accept and justify their ways. It means when you really love them you will tell them the truth and stand against sin and ungodly living.

Proverbs 30:11, “There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother. 12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. 13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up. 14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men." KJV (continued)

God Will Confirm The Truth Of His Revelation!

When we respond correctly to Divine Revelation, God will confirm the Truth of His Revelation. The shepherds pursued after the revelation the angels delivered. “And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger,” Luke 2:16. They were able to observe confirmation of the angels' announcement. When God confirms His Truth, there is always an expected result. Luke 2:17, “And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. 18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.”

The revelation was a personal experience for the shepherds in so much that the encounter compelled them to seek the truth of the revelation. When God confirmed the truth of the revelation the expected result was that they would share with others the wonder of this event. Their experience compelled them to tell others about what they had seen. The greater circle or larger group that heard the message “wondered at those things which were told them.”

The Bible doesn't elaborate on the effect this wonderful happening had upon the general public. But we can conclude with certainty that those who pursued the truth experienced Divine Revelation. “But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.” I am convinced that “wondering” takes place in the mind but “pondering” takes place in the heart. The wonder of the many was a transient emotion; this recollecting and brooding of Mary was an abiding habit. Mary had experienced revelation before! She was no stranger to the visitation of the heavenly and received the Divine herald in her heart. Divine Revelation is a heart thing! (continued)

Can You Hear The Rumbling? by Myra Boozer

How do you stop an avalanche? What is an avalanche? It is a large mass of loosened snow, earth, etc sliding down a mountain...an over-whelming amount coming suddenly...You can"t stop an avalanche!!! But you can hear the rumbling noise and get out of the way...possibly. Are you hearing the noise of the over-whelming avalanche that is coming on this world? If not then maybe we need to get very quite and still and listen...The rumble is getting louder, but it seems our world just turns up their music of distraction (what-ever it may be) to drown out the Sound of the coming disaster...There is good news...Jesus is the rock, He is the fortress, He is the shelter in the time of storm...Stand strong in Him today and know that His Father has EVERYTHING, including the avalanche that will come suddenly, in His hands. Trust in the one who created Heaven and Earth and all that is in it...

We Must Respond Correctly To Divine Revelation!

So what is the proper way to respond to a revelation from God? One should respond with holy reverence and submission. The prophet Isaiah comes to mind. In Isaiah 6, he saw the Lord sitting on His throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple. He responded in holy reverence by falling on his face in total submission, lying prostrate before the Lord and crying out, woe is me for I am undone. Revelation puts one in awe of how miraculous God is but brings the understanding that God wholly embraces the repentant. Isaiah came face to face with the grace of Almighty God and he would never be the same. God’s question was, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” Isaiah’s response was, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8. God’s response to submission, “

In Luke 2, how did the shepherds respond to the appearance of their Divine Messenger? Luke 2:9, “And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. They were terrified although they were the recipients of Divine Revelation. How did the messenger from God respond to the fear of the shepherds? Luke2:10, “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy,” God's revelation brought good tidings personally and “which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” These were glad tidings. The promise was not only to the shepherds but to ALL people.

We must respond to God's revelation with the appropriate action. The shepherds did just that. “And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us,” Luke 2:15. God will validate and confirm His message. But we must be willing to pursue after the Truth. More often than not, God's revelation comes in steps, short messages, small pieces. In my experience, it has been much like a puzzle. Piece by piece you find its place until you can see the complete picture. (continued)

Something To Think About! by Myra Boozer

If there were no God and no Bible filled with prophecy about the last days, what intelligent person would think that this world would last long with all that is going on? When Nations are about to fall because of the economy and collapse because of debt...also moral decline has hit BOTTOM...the earth is coming apart at the seams because of earthquakes and volcanoes...people are killing the innocent at an alarming rate...evil men have grown more corrupt in their deeds, hating and killing all over the world...disease and sickness is out of control.

What kind of future do you see? It is horrible, beyond horrible if time goes on. But for those who love God and have chosen to follow Him. He has made a way of ESCAPE. He is coming to take us out of this horrible and depraved atmosphere that has been created by ungodly men and women.

People have pushed God aside and want to create a new world with NO rules or standards of Godliness. It seems everyday you hear more plans to confuse and turn our children and grands from the truth that God designed for us to follow or to be as He created us to be. Everyday sin is getting stronger in the hearts and minds of sinful man. Even if there were no God and no Bible...(WHICH THERE IS) this world could not go on the way it is going. Sin is like a cancer and it destroys.

The great news is that God spared not His only begotten Son but sent Him to earth to take the punishment for the sin of mankind. The ball is now in your court. You can choose to allow Him to forgive your sins and choose to follow Him or remain as you are and suffer the punishment of sin throughout eternity.

II Corinthians 13:5, "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" KJV

The Role Of Divine Revelation In Our Salvation!

1 John 4:13, “Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.”

No man can truly say that Jesus is the Son of God except by the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of God. Our finite, carnal mind cannot comprehend this gift of God to a lost and dying world. It takes the illumination of the Holy Spirit to open our consciousness to the reality of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for the redemption and salvation of our souls. God must take yet a greater role in our salvation by opening our heart in Divine Revelation to the magnitude of His gift of salvation. 2 Corinthians 9:15, “Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.”

And that is only the beginning! God must continue to lead us by Divine Revelation to where He is going or we will get lost along the way. Therefore, we must recognize the element of Divine Revelation in our personal relationship with God and the completion of our ministry in the Body of Christ. We will experience competing doctrines and theories in our quest to fulfill God’s purpose through the Word. It is only through Divine Revelation that we can know the His TRUTH. There is a difference in a doctrine of error and an absence (lack) of understanding. We all lack understanding to some degree. But the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit will assist us in receiving the TRUTH if we will open our minds and hearts to it.

Revelation is a personal experience. A revelation may impact one person, a great number of people or generations of people. For instance, when the angel of the Lord announced the birth of the Messiah to lowly shepherds in Luke 2, they were alone in a rural area and the message was for them. Luke 2:8, “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.” They were in a field, apart from the traffic of nearby Bethlehem. The angel of the Lord spoke directly to these few shepherds alone in the countryside. His message was a message to them first and then meant to be shared with the world. First, the revelation was a personal experience. We can say that because they had a visual experience and it had an effect on them. “And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid,” Luke 2:9. Not only was it a personal experience but also an emotional experience. And as with most revelations from God, this experience was accompanied by awe and reverence.

In some instances when God reveals Himself to us, we respond in utter disbelief that it could be happening. This scene causes my heart to proclaim, “WOW, WOW, WOW.” No doubt they were paralyzed with fear. But God always comforts (to give strength and hope) and reassures (to make feel less afraid, upset, or doubtful) when we recognize (to know and remember because of previous knowledge or experience) Him and respond properly (so that it is right, true, proper, etc..) So what is the proper way to respond to a revelation from God? One should respond with holy reverence and submission. (continued)

Lord, What Would You Have Me Do?

Acts 9:6, “And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.”

Saul was on his way to Damascus with documents to imprison followers of Jesus Christ. This text recounts Saul’s response to his Divine Encounter with Jesus on the road that day. Saul had his own objective but God had a different path planned for him. It took Divine Revelation to change him and the direction he was going. Confronted with the Divine Presence of Christ, his response was, “Lord, what would you have me do?” We would do well to seek God for the same attitude of submission that we could proclaim, “Lord Jesus, what would you have me do?

God help us to yearn for His Divine Presence and the Revelation of His Truth! Lord Jesus, open our hearts, our minds, our souls to hear your voice today! We need your revelation of your plan. We are not seeking a fleshly understanding of mortal research. We are seeking Divine revelation of the Word of God. The same revelation the Old Testament prophets experienced as they walked in obedience and depended upon the impartation of your instruction and anointing to bring a relevant Word of God to the people of God. The same revelation that the New Testament apostles experienced as you called them out and set them apart to be your voice for your message to a world in crisis, lost, without hope except for Jesus' sacrifice. Holy Spirit take charge of this mortal flesh! Lead us along the correct path to receiving God's revelation and understanding of the Word relevant to where we are today. We are not seeking insight built upon human understanding because that is empty and fruitless. The revelation of your truth passes all human understanding far above this world's knowledge. The hope of our heart and our soul's desire is to receive and impart your truth. Your truth delivers the sin sick soul, frees the shackled and heals the wounded heart. Lord, revive your Word afresh in our souls and lead us to those in need. Lead us Lord and we will follow where ever you open up the door. Lord, what would YOU have me do?

Unwise To Justify The Wicked! by Myra Boozer

"He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord," Proverbs 17:15.

It seems more than ever that sin is being accepted. Many are no longer ashamed of their error, their mistakes, or their sin. When this happens many feel justified and they stay on the same path of destruction...telling themselves, "I have done no wickedness"...especially when they aren't held accountable for their wrong doings by those around them...even to being considered the "Citizen of the Year." The Lord God is not pleased with those who JUSTIFY the wicked nor those that condemn the righteous. In this verse they are put in the same category. They are both called an abomination. That word means to hate, to loathe. Yet, people want to say God is not angry with me! I believe this scripture proves that statement to be wrong. "But a certain fearful looking for of judgement and FIERY INDIGNATION, which shall devour the adversaries," Hebrews 10:27. Adversaries are the enemies of God. He is definitely angry with SIN. "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God," Hebrews 10:31

Who is speaking against sin? Who is warning? Where is the fear of the Lord? Who is lifting up the standard of the righteous? Who is standing in the Gap? Who is proclaiming the year of the Lord? Who is speaking TRUTH to this perverse generation? Who is declaring the WORD of the Lord in the face of the wicked? "He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him: But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them." Proverbs 24:24-25 KJV

I believe God is merciful, gracious, and so patient with mankind. He loves YOU! However, He does not condone SIN! He loves you more than that. He loves you so much that He will send His Holy Spirit to convict you of your error, your mistakes, your willful sin. It doesn't matter who justifies you, friends or family. When God says it is sin, it is sin and it will separate you from God. "My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth," Hebrews 12:5b-6. The scripture goes on to say If you endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons. But if you be without chastening then you are not sons. It is your choice to receive correction or not. Ask God to send the Holy Spirit to convict and convince you of the sin that has beset you. The sin that maybe is accepted and even celebrated by the world. Only God is the true judge of all sin. "Let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire," Hebrews 12; 28b-29.

Jesus Wins This War!

Galatians 6:9, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

If you are not being tested or tried right now, hold on tight. Satan has not forgotten about you. He is fully aware of the efforts of every child of God and will do everything in his power to defeat us. But, we are not bound by Satan. We serve an awesome God who has already secured our future in Jesus Christ. In the power of the Blood of the Cross, we are loosed and we are free. The Spirit of Almighty God possesses our mortal bodies. Our Creator and Redeemer has broken the chains, loosed the fetters and opened the barred doors. We are free! Thank God we are free! However, we must keep our faith in God’s promises. By the nature of our commission, we are compelled to stand on the Word of God until we finish our mission here.

Don’t grow “weary in well doing.” Persecution of the followers of Christ has always been. Actually, tests and trials are the anthem of the “born again.” Persecutions and afflictions are synonymous with being a disciple of Christ. Paul testified to the deliverance of Christ because Christ brought him through persecutions and afflictions. 2 Tim. 3:10, “But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.” The Lord Jesus delivered Paul out of them all. That was Paul’s testimony. Paul “endured” hardness (to suffer, be afflicted) as a good soldier of the Cross therefore, he could instruct Timothy to do the same. 2Tim. 2:2, “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”

Persecution will become worse as we approach the coming of Christ and the consummation of all things. 2 Tim. 3:12, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;” Though the enemy rises up to interfere with our mission, our victory has already been secured. Jesus declared victory at Calvary when He embraced the role of His sacrifice. Psalm 22:14, “I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.” Jesus poured Himself out on the cross and there is power in the blood of his sacrifice. Power to march into the enemy's domain, invading the places he has hidden the souls of the lost, hopeless, and imprisoned of the human race. The power and light of Jesus Christ will reach into these deep dark crevices of life and set the doomed free.

Take heart, be encouraged, we’ve read the last chapter in His Book. Jesus Christ is victorious. Put you trust in Him. Walk in His strength. He will provide everything we need to successfully complete our mission. Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Need Confidence? by Myra Boozer

If you are in need of confidence (trust, reliance, assurance), turn your eyes to the Lord, for that is where our help comes from. There is no greater power or greater force than God. Yes, God uses man sometimes to take care of the things that we may need. But for the one who created this whole universe and hung it in space, He really doesn't need anyone to help Him, but He allows us to be part of His great plan.

Put your trust in him and your confidence will rise, knowing this. Psalms 40:11, "Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD, let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me." It is He who gives us life and all that we need ONE DAY AT A TIME. “For in thee O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God,” Psalm 38:15.

When we truly BELIEVE this we will be filled with confidence, not in ourselves, but in God. "Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies," Psalm 40:4 KJV.

Peace In Troubling Times!

Romans 15:13, “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

The word's of an old song from the early 70's comes to mind this evening as I ponder the condition of our world. It goes something like this, "Troublesome times are here, filling men's hearts with fear, freedom we all hold dear now is at stake. Humble your hearts to God, saves from the chastening rod, seek the way pilgrims trod, Christians awake. Troubles will soon be o'er, happy for evermore, when we meet on that shore, free from all care. Rising up in the sky, telling this world goodbye, homeward we then will fly, glory to share.

Jesus is coming soon morning or night or noon, many will meet their doom, trumpets will sound. All of the dead will rise, righteous meet in the skies, I'm going where no one dies, heavenward bound."

We live in troubling times if all you see is the present conflict. Paul said, "If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable," 1Cor. 15:19. We must have hope beyond what we see. And we do have hope if we have put our faith in Jesus Christ. The child of God has nothing to fear. Actually we should be excited that last days prophecies are being fulfilled and that "Jesus is coming soon..."

In the midst of all the turmoil everywhere, let us be thankful that Jesus has provided an escape. My prayer is that during this present celebration of Thanksgiving and the coming Christmas season, that we the Body of Christ will reflect the glory of God is such a fashion that the unbelieving will see Christ and make that decision to follow Him. May the presence of the Holy Spirit be with you in every gathering!

A Prayer Of Thanksgiving!

Psalm 121:1, "...I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore."

Lord Jesus, thank you for allowing us to share in the glory of your presence. The freedom, the peace and the absolute marvelous deliverance is a testimony of your desire to reveal yourself to your people. It is good to dwell together in unity as one in you and through you.

Thank you Lord for bringing us into the outer court (the court of praise), into the inner court (the court of ministry) and the Holy of Holies. It is in the Holy Place we come face to face with YOU and experience your person as Almighty God, Lord God Jehovah, our Creator, our constant Support and Shield, our Deliverer, our Counselor, our Redeemer, our Savior, our Lord and our God. It is there that we receive access to all we need and require for this present journey. Lord, your strength is our present help in time of need. The shield of YOUR covenant is our defense from the tormenting darts of the enemy. Truly, You are the source of our victory.

Thank you Lord for giving us YOUR WORD that is spiritually embraced and conscientiously invested. Lord Jesus, help us to let go of all things around us and every substance within us that would impede our success in YOUR cause. We do here and now accept YOUR promise of an expected end by faith. We fall helplessly into you embrace and look to you for the strength and grace to complete YOUR assignment. We open our hearts, minds and souls to YOU and without reservation do purpose to receive all that you desire to invest in us. Prepare us O Lord and fill us full of YOU! Amen

May We Remember! by Myra Boozer

JESUS is your Rock when everything begins to sink all around you.
HE is Your Bread when your pantry is empty.
HE is Your Home when you are evicted.
HE is Your payment for a debt you cannot pay.
HE is Your Friend when all others forsake you.
HE is Your Light when darkness tries to hover over you.
He is Your Coach when you feel defeat has overcome you.
HE is Your Weapon when the enemy strikes.
HE is Your Joy in the time of great battle.
HE is Your Escape when the lions are hungry.
HE is Your Covering when all is stripped away.
HE is Your Passport when the time comes to leave.
HE is Your Key to the riches of Heaven.
"He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion." Psalm 111:4 KJV
Oh, how quickly we can all forget just what Jesus really means to us. When the storm has past and the sun begins to shine...May We REMEMBER the works of His Hands.. This is our time to remember and be thankful...today and always...

My Safe Place! by Myra Boozer

Life is so full of troubles, trials and disappointments and many days our hearts can be broken because of all that is going on in our world. Neglected children, the forgotten elderly, the sick and dying and the lonely with no one to share the day. It is a beautiful thing to know that God has a place that provides protection and shelter, a place one can turn to for help, relief and escape. The Lord tells us He is with us at all times. But we must leave our little world of survival and focus our hearts and minds towards Him who is our refuge.

When we give all our TRUST to Him alone...then it happens. He comes and sits with us and talks with us wrapping His big arms of love around us. It is then we realize we are not alone or overtaken by any burden that He cannot handle.

When we allow the Holy Spirit to renew our mind we are actually surrendering to what is going on and receiving our life vest for survival during our storm. Spiritually we are taken into that safe place of His protection, His pavilion and none of the things of this world can defeat us. Not that we are not there already, but when our hearts don't stay FIXED on Him, we do not REST in His PRESENCE.

We must stay awake and aware that the world will pull us in, leaving us vulnerable to Satan and his lies of defeat. BUT Jesus says come unto me ALL of you that are troubled or overtaken and I will give you REST. He is our safe place in a world of calamity. He is our shelter in the time of the storm. He is the one who lifts us up above the shadows and puts our feet on solid ground.

To really know Him is to TRUST Him...To Trust Him means that your soul will be at REST... when all around us is crumbling down...Our heart is fixed on the Lord and we are safe and secure in Him...

God Is Lifting Up His Standard! Conclusion

The Hebrews writer tells us that if we are to please God we must first believe that He exists and secondly believe that He will reward us as we seek Him. Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Consequently, we must believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, co-existing and co-equal with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. Those who reject the Person and work of the Holy Spirit reject the whole of God's plan and that is the root of the confusion. When this basic scriptural truth is denied, every doctrine built upon that foundation is at risk of dilution or discarding altogether.

The doctrine of inclusion came into existence because religious leaders wanted to accommodate people. As public opinion has become increasing more liberal, societal pressure has expanded to include entire groups of people and lifestyles. Although the Word of God strongly condemns carnal, fleshly thought and lifestyles, the moral climate of our world demands that such behavior be accepted and embraced by the populace of the world including Christianity and the Church.

The Kingdom of God is a spiritual entity and as such has a spiritual administration. True, we all are mortal beings but God uses mortal beings in His Kingdom if they are subject to the Holy Spirit. Therefore, the work of the Holy Spirit must be embraced in submission and obedience. The tension comes in the conflict between the carnal leadership of man and the administration of the Holy Spirit. Religious leadership has succumbed to the collusion of ambition, greed and pride. Therefore the door is thrown open wide for governance by man and the Holy Spirit has been expelled. Hence our present dilemma.

God will set apart and identify the believers in His Kingdom. By the Holy Spirit, God is lifting His Standard and His obedient followers are flowing to it, as the enemy comes in like a flood. The question today is, “Am I going to follow a religious movement or the Holy Spirit?” The answer to that question will determine our affiliation with a religious group or being a part of the Kingdom of God. And the answer to that question will determine our eternity. My prayer is that we will allow the Holy Spirit to open our ears to hear what He is saying in this late hour!

Never Regret! by Myra Boozer

Lord, may I never regret or begrudge the time I set aside for YOU...

My days are full to overflowing with so many task at hand...

I see them all coming at me like a dump truck...spilling them all over my world and calling out my name loud and clear...

Lord, may I never regret or begrudge the time I set aside for YOU...

This is a reality for all of us...the demands, the chores, the responsibilities, the duties that we feel are heaped upon us...

And many things we have chosen or allowed to come into our lives...they are not silent...they are forceful and strong...calling and screaming for our attention...

But I hear in the distance a voice. Lord, I feel your nudge. I feel your calling. I know your voice and I feel you pulling me aside to spend time with you. I must release my thoughts and plans and surrender to your will...

Lord, may I never regret or begrudge the time I set aside for YOU...

Lord, you break me and mold me and sometimes crush me into nothing to make me what I need to be. I am nothing until you form me and make me after your design. I must submit for I am stubborn and unyielding. I must trust that you know best when you bring me to tears and help me see how helpless and useless I really am...unable to do any of the task at hand without your healing touch and your strength to guide me.

Only you can give me the love and compassion that is needed to help my family and friends. Only you can give me courage to go on. Only you can bring my life into harmony and fill my days with hope. Only you, Lord, can do these things and you are usually the last option for many. FORGIVE US, LORD. MAY I NEVER REGRET OR BEGRUDGE THE TIME I SET ASIDE FOR YOU...

God Is Lifting Up His Standard!

In the Old Testament economy, a standard was the identifying colors of an army or kingdom. It was necessary to be able to identify allies and enemies. God's promise to Israel was that He would stand with them against His enemies. This is a necessary principle in our spiritual warfare today.

God will set apart (sanctify) and identify as His the believers in His Kingdom. How is that going to happen? It is happening at this present moment! God is, by His Spirit, lifting His Standard and His obedient followers are flowing to it, as the enemy comes in like a flood. We are currently living in the time Isaiah described in chapter 59. In verses 16-21, Isaiah writes by the inspiration of the Spirit of God concerning the last days restoration of the nation of Israel. God brought salvation at the first Advent of Christ but Israel rejected Him. At His second Advent or second coming He will judge His enemies and restore salvation to Israel. The restoration of Israel is at hand. The deliverance of the Body of Christ is even at the door.

The enemy has come in like a river over running its banks and causing great destruction and distress where ever it flows. The flood gates are open and just as Aaron and the priesthood were co-conspirators in the disobedience and idol worship of the Israelites at Sinai, the leadership in Christianity must share the responsibility for where we are today. The strong emphasis placed on the doctrine of inclusion in the religious world has lead to a departure from the faith which was delivered to the saints of the New Testament. This doctrine must be reversed in the churches. Instead of inclusion, separation of the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of this world must be preached again from our pulpits. Although the gospel message is one of inclusion and is to all men, there always has been and always will be the Divine standard to be achieved. His holy standard can still be achieved in the heart of the submissive, obedient believer through the work of the Holy Spirit living within us. Jesus said that He (Holy Spirit) will lead and guide into all truth. John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” The Truth is the standard but can not be achieved apart from the indwelling of the Holy Ghost in the heart of the professed Christian.

Difficulty has arisen because of a departure from the leadership of the Holy Spirit. How can we be lead by Him if we are not first possessed by Him? How can we be possessed by Him unless we believe that He exists as the third person of the Godhead fulfilling Jesus' promise to be our comforter? John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” The promise of the Comforter was as such to provide a Paraclete to lead and guide the Church as Christ's Advocate or on His behalf. The Holy Spirit is to lead the Church just as God lead Israel and Jesus led the New Testament Church. (continued)

Sin Is Sin! by Myra Boozer

I found a statement that is very interesting..."There is no gay marriage. Marriage is a Christian word for Holy Union. Gay is an abomination to God, hence no gay marriage. It's simple, can't make it complicated."

Sin is sin and we will all be judged by God for those things in our lives that are not covered by Jesus blood and forsaken. Jesus our redeemer and justifier, told the woman found in the act of adultery, "go and sin no more." John 8:11

As a Christian, I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I do not claim to be perfect. But God is my Father, His son is my Savior, His Holy Spirit is my guide and His Word is my road map. If I don't follow His ways and keep His word, then I am not a follower. I must stand with His word and live His word or I am not a Christian.

Jesus invited people from all walks of life to come follow Him. He loved and welcomed many to come to Him. Yet, His words offended a lot more than they attracted because He would not tolerate sin. He forgives sin but He does not tolerate sin. The book of Ephesians teaches us Christian duties.

In both the Old and New Testament, homosexuality is referred to as sin. See Leviticus 20:13 and Romans 1:26-28. I declare to you today, the day is coming and is here that if we call ourselves a Christian we will be called a lot of different things. But don't be alarmed because greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world. Jesus said the world hated me, it will hate you also, but be not alarmed I overcame the world and you can also.

Sin is sin and we will all be judged for those things that are not under the blood of Jesus. "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD :though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18 KJV

Don't be intimidated by people who say you are judging when you give them scripture against homosexuality or abortion. Even if our government is in support of these sinful acts. Many in our government are wanting to turn us against the principles of God. They want nothing to do with God and are getting ready to persecute those who do.

"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28 KJV

God's Favor Requires Embracing God's Truth!

Jeremiah 2:8, “The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.”

The priests, pastors and prophets lead the way for Judah into apostasy. Through the words of Jeremiah, God was revealing a pathway to victory. But there is only one way to secure God’s favor. Judah must acknowledge their defiance of God’s law and return to God in repentance and submission. Through the prophet Jeremiah, God was pleading with Judah to return to Him and to His Favor.

What is the parallel for today? The leaders of the churches in America have led the way toward apostasy! The leadership of the churches in this nation must bear the responsibility for the conditions in the churches. A congregation will not rise above their leader. Then, it becomes the responsibility of those leaders to represent God’s Truth in word and deed. Godly leaders will lift up God’s standard which is God’s Truth. True leaders are co-workers with the Lord Jesus Christ through the abiding presence of the Holy Ghost. God said that He would lift up His standard when the enemy comes in an overwhelming force. “So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19

We are experiencing now the onslaught of the dark forces released from the Satanic abyss. The enemy is angry that the Church of Jesus Christ would dare to rise up and oppose him. But now is the time for that very thing. Every pastor, leader and congregation has been pressed by the will of a carnal society to accept all people and lifestyles. This external influence has pressed into the Church creating internal conflict. The pressure of inclusion and compromise has led to a deviation from God’s Truth.

However, God has a standard for us to embrace, accept and model if we are to name the name of Christ. God’s standard is Holiness. God requires repentance and a turning away from sin to the holiness of God’s Truth. Ephesians 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Godly leaders must preach the glorious Gospel of God’s Truth. Jesus is returning for His Church made ready by the washing of the Word that His Church may be presented to Him Holy and without Blemish.

God's Favor Requires Embracing God's Truth!

The Power Of The Gospel Is Truth!

Paul proclaimed in Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:..” He declared boldly that the Gospel was the power of God to bring men unto salvation. The power of the Gospel is TRUTH. That is the pure, undefiled TRUTH. It is that pure message that will set every man free who believes God’s promise and place their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Any deviation from the Truth of God’s Word will annul it’s power to accomplish it’s intended purpose in us and all that we might affect. The only way to walk in the power of His Spirit is to embrace His TRUTH without amendment. Jesus declared to John in His Revelation 22:18, “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” It says what it says and means what it means. We must embrace His TRUTH if we are to hear Him say, “...Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord,” Matt. 25:21.

Jude is pleading in Jude 1:3, “...that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” The Holy Spirit, speaking through the writer of this passage is calling for the Church to return to the Truth of the Gospel. Jude was writing some 40 to 50 years after the death of Jesus. The Faith which Jesus taught was being diluted (not containing very much of the original message). The element gone missing was the TRUTH which Christ had preached and modeled. It was upon this TRUTH that he established His Church and the gates of hell will not prevail. Matt. 16:15, “He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

The power of the Gospel message is the TRUTH. The TRUTH is validated by the Holy Spirit. “Validate is to recognize, establish, or illustrate the worthiness or legitimacy of...” Just as Jude pleaded with the first century Church, the Holy Ghost is pleading with the present day Church. He is saying repent and return to the Truth which Jesus taught and modeled.

Truth comes in its entirety from the throne of God. It cannot be a mixture of Spirit and flesh but must be 100% God. Any deviation is a mixture of heaven and earth and will result in a dilution of the heavenly message. The Truth is born of God and has to be born of the God in us. We must be born again of the Spirit of God which is THE Spirit of TRUTH! The Power Of The Gospel Is TRUTH!

Thou Art Worthy! by Myra Boozer

"Thou art worthy, O LORD, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." Revelation 4:11 KJV

Wonderful Spirit of worship at Church today...with hands raised and hearts burning with adoration for a HOLY GOD...we felt the power of the Almighty God rush into the room where we were gathered. It lifted us above the earthly realm and into His presence. Oh, He is so Holy and we are just normal everyday run of the mill people and we were allowed into His presence.

He came to earth over 2000 years ago for that reason that we mortal man would recognize Him and know that He left His Throne in Glory to come and sit among US...and bring something into our life that no one else has ever done. The JOY of that meeting lingers in my heart as I write this to you. He has brought HOPE to a hopeless people. He has brought PEACE to a heart of turmoil. He has brought LOVE to the withdrawn soul and FAVOR to a forgotten lad...HEALING to a dying friend and a SMILE to a little child.

"Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain." Rev 5:12a

Written In Stone! by Myra Boozer

" You shall consecrate yourselves therefore and be holy, for I am the Lord your God. And you shall keep My statutes and practice them, I am the Lord who sanctifies you," Leviticus 20:7-8.

A friend used to tell me quite often when we were making plans...now "it's NOT written in stone." In other words, our plans could change and they usually did to some degree. The 10 Commandments are a different story.

When God gave them to Moses on tablets, they were written in stone. He believed and meant every word He wrote. They are called Commandments because they are just that. They are not suggestions. To be even more clear, they are God's Laws. Thru all these years, God has not changed them. Many would like to forget them, remove them and destroy them. But God has not and will not allow this to happen.

Jesus came that they might be written on our hearts. The love Jesus has for us causes us to desire obedience to God, to do what He ask! Only by seeking God and having a very personal relationship with Jesus Christ will we desire to obey this Word that is Written In Stone.

Satan Is Defeated!

Remember, Satan is caught in the trap of his own deceit which separates him from the reality of God's plan. The reality begins at the cross. The reality is that the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin and delivers us from the power of sin. 1 John 1:7, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” Romans 8:2, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Therefore the blood of Jesus delivers us from the power of Satan's influence over this mortal body.

The reality is that the tomb could not imprison the Son of God. The power of the Holy Ghost raised Him up exercising the power of God over death, hell and the grave. Thereby we are heirs of the same promise and have inherited the hope of eternal life. The reality is that Jesus ascended to the Father but not before giving a commission to the Church. Matthew 28:18, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

The reality is that He did not leave us powerless but sent the gift of the Holy Ghost to take His place. Acts 1:6, “When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” The reality is that Jesus has given us power and authority to go into the Satan’s domain and take back what the enemy has taken from us. He is a thief and comes to kill, steal and destroy. But Jesus has overcome him and so can we.

The reality is that He is coming again soon. Matt. 28:9, “And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”

We have read the end of the Book and know how this ends. Matthew 28:9-11 is our Promise! Our Hope is Revelation 20:10, “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” The dominion of sin and death will be no more! “...For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen,” Matt. 6:13.

Let us, in one accord pray, speak and live as we know SATAN IS DEFEATED by the blood of Jesus Christ! And we can all say Amen! God is Almighty and His mercy endures forever!

A Great And Terrible Day! by Myra Boozer

"And the Lord shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?" Joel 2:11 kjv

The world is getting ready for a great and terrible day. People are choosing sides for that last horrible and final war, and they don't even know it. There are only two sides...Good and Evil.

The word for the day is unity. It is such a powerful word. "UNITY"...sounds good but does not mean for good when teaming up with evil. Unity is strength and people are unifying in their evil thoughts and deeds against all that is good and righteous.

"And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the LORD cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage." Jude 1:14-16

Many are being deceived by evil people to believe lies. It will come in a pretty package with a message that seems sent from heaven above. Evil is very alluring and captivating. It desires your attention and affection. When evil comes to your life, it comes to stay. Only the blood of Jesus can rid you of this horrible attribute.

Know also that in that last great battle God with his saints will punish and destroy all evil. Choose to be on the winning side. Choose good not evil! The Bible is the only gauge to measure your life against good and evil. " Seek good and not evil, that ye may live," Amos 5:14a.

Claiming Deliverance In Jesus Christ!

Ezekiel 18:4, “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine:..”

All souls belong to God who created us. God has promised us deliverance from sin and the wages of sin. However, someone must deliver the message of Christ's deliverance. Somebody has to enter the realm of darkness in the power of Jesus Christ and declare freedom to these imprisoned souls. Are you ready to be used of God in such a mighty endeavor? The beginning of this process is PRAYER bathed in the Holy Ghost. My prayer is that God will ignite a fire in the Body of Christ that will become a raging, consuming fire of God. I pray that we will burn so hot and so bright that the darkness cannot stay where we go.

The powers of darkness must acknowledge and surrender to the presence and power of Jesus Christ. There is a future time when all creation will bow at the feet of Christ and declare true reverence to Him as the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. However, Jesus wants to use the Body of Christ presently to show forth His miraculous power and divine glory. The Lord wants to reveal the awesomeness of His miraculous power in the Body. He wants to use the Body of Christ to enter into Satan's domain, the very seat and throne of his rule and rescue perishing souls.

You see, Satan has believed his own lies. He is the father of lies. He exists in the domain of lies and deceit. He cannot discern where the lie ends and reality begins. He thought he could defeat Jesus in the wilderness of temptation and the garden of Gethsemane. He thought he had defeated Jesus on the cross and when they sealed Him in the tomb. However, Satan failed to remember that all this was according to God's plan. God had planned these encounters. Thereby He is touched by the feelings of our infirmities. Hebrews 4:15, “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” He was tested! He suffered, died and rose again! Consequently, He brought us to the apex of spiritual victory when He walked out of that tomb! That was God's plan!

Are you willing to be changed into an instrument of Christ’s deliverance? Are you ready to become a raging, consuming fire of the Holy Ghost? Yes, it is time to PRAY! Claiming Deliverance in Jesus Christ!

God Wants Your Commitment! by Myra Boozer

Many people turn to God when they have serious troubles and trials. They need help!...so they go to Church, say their prayers but only for a short time. They turn back to their old ways, until the next time when they just can't handle their problems any longer. Over and over they do this...So Sad! They just don't understand!

God is not a "pie in the sky" kind of God. He wants us to love Him for who He is not for what He can do for us in time of need alone. He is not an on and off God. He is a full time God and wants a full time relationship with His Children.

Today is not the time to forget God! The battle is raging and it is so dangerous to be out in the cold without your covering. God wants to shield you and keep you from all harm and danger of the enemy that is out to steal, kill and destroy. Satan is sneaky and will come at you in many different forms...Sometimes as an Angel of Light. Don't be deceived by him. Run to God today and find Him to be your answer. He is waiting with open arms, longing for you to make a commitment to Him. Stay the course, don't run away. "We love Him because He first loved us." I John 4:19

Prepare For The Conflict!

Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for holding us close and loving us beyond our human ability to measure. Thank you for renewed strength. We mount up on wings of eagles. We run but do not become weary. We walk but do not faint. Lord, let us walk with you today. Let us continue in your awesome presence. Help us to stay the course, push forward, dare to enter the enemy's camp and take back what he has stolen from us.”

Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Galatians 6:9, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Are we prepared for the conflict of prayer? In prayer, the force of flesh and Spirit collide and Spirit must always reign. By the power of the Holy Ghost, we are set free from the dominion of the flesh. The power of Almighty God possesses our mortal bodies as we give ourselves to His Divine Will and Sovereign Purpose. Our Creator and Redeemer has broken the chains, loosed the fetters and opened the barred doors. We are free to be a servant of God and fulfill His mission in us. However, the Devil is as a roaring lion seeking to devour and destroy everything and everyone that proclaims salvation and freedom in Jesus Christ. We must rise up in the power of the Holy Ghost and declare God’s Victory. “Father God, Your power will break the chains of sin, disobedience and rebellion. We are Your servants. We stand where You stand and by Your power, We will do Your work. By Your power, We will break through the enemies fortresses and You will deliver the hopeless souls of mankind.”

This is a spiritual war! We are not fighting against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities, against the ruler of the darkness of this world. Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Our victory has already been ordained and secured. Jesus declared victory at Calvary when He embraced the role of His sacrifice. Psalm 22:14, “I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.” David wrote of his own struggle with life and death but uses language which is appropriate for Christ's crucifixion. Jesus poured Himself out on the cross. Consequently, there is power in the blood of his sacrifice. Power to enter the enemy's domain, the places he has hidden the souls of the lost, hopeless, lifeless, imprisoned bodies of humankind. The power and light of Jesus Christ will reach into these deep dark crevices of life and set the doomed free. Who will carry His light into the darkness?

In Isaiah 6, when Isaiah saw God, he saw Him high and lifted up or in an exalted state. Isaiah fell on His face in repentance and submission and declared, “...I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me” Isaiah 6:8. Are we prepared for the conflict of prayer? Can we answer as Isaiah, “here am I, send me.” Yes, it is time to pray!

Who Will Listen? by Myra Boozer

Who will listen to the still small voice when He speaks. It won't be the excitable, giddy one who is inflated with self-conceit. Being bound up in pride with an arrogant spirit leaves no room for listening.

It won't be the one who can't be reasoned with because they are stubborn and stuck without understanding, unable to concede.

It won't be the fearful for it takes courage to receive instruction.

It won't be someone who doesn't welcome change for God is an advocate for change in its most deliberate form.

It won't be someone who refuses to forgive, for the speaker is the Father of Forgiveness and He requires it.

It won't be someone who ignores the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is the very unction to hear the still small voice.

It won't be someone who doesn't understand trust, because God is all about our leaning on Him.

So Who Will Listen? I think it is the one who is DESPERATE...The one calling out to God for HELP in their Brokenness, the DESTITUTE person who has forsaken all to find God. All else has failed and they are searching for answers from someone higher than themselves. If that is YOU, there is HOPE! God will speak to your HEART when you listen with your HEART...

It's Time To Pray! Are You Desperate For God!

Daniel 6:10, “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.”

Daniel did as before. He prayed! The prophet Daniel was not so different from you and me. He lived in a time of displacement and captivity for his people. He was desperate to have God’s strength and support every day. He struggled to remain at peace with his captors and remain true to the Lord God Jehovah. But, when he was forced to make a choice, he always chose God. God was more important than anything or anybody else!

When Daniel knew that the decree was signed forbidding anyone to pray to any other god except King Darius, Daniel made an open show of his allegiance to God. He went into his house, opened his windows toward Jerusalem, knelt down and prayed. He did so three times each day and gave thanks to God as he had done before. He was desperate to show his world the depth of his kinship with his Father!

Daniel was persecuted by his captors for his disobedience but God protected Him. It was during this time of intense trial that God revealed prophecies of the future for the nation of Israel. The most relevant to his time being chapter 9:2 revealing the prophecy of Jeremiah that the seventy years of captivity was almost complete. One principle that we can take away from Daniel's experience is that God reveals Himself and our future in Him during times of our intense trial. It is during those times that we become desperate to seek God’s guidance, intervention and deliverance. He uses our faith and dependence to lead us into our future!

Daniel prayed as before! His prayer life was the foundation for his existence both present and future. When the enemy tested his love and loyalty to God, Daniel continued doing what he did every day. The die was cast and the pattern established. Therefore, Daniel held to his faith in God and God delivered him.

The substance of our life in Christ must be established before the storm comes. We must know that the foundation of our life is built upon Jesus Christ and all other ground is sinking sand. Therefore, when the trials of life test us, we continue doing what we have always done. We pray and trust God as we always have done and God will deliver us once again!

Are you desperate to have the strength and support of God in your life everyday? Then, it is time to pray as never before. We will be tried and tested in the days ahead. Our future will require the power and presence of the Spirit of God every moment of every hour of every day. If that is to be a reality in our lives, It Is Time To Pray!

Lord Jesus, help us to pray like Daniel prayed. Help us to trust like Daniel trusted. Help us to be delivered like Daniel was delivered. Thank you, Lord, for the power of your promises. Direct our steps to walk in your word and experience the power of your promises. Order our steps that we may walk in your perfect peace. In Jesus' name! Amen” Yes, it is time to pray!

It Is Time! Know His Plan!

Where am I? We need to be ready to leave where God is not and go to where God is! It is always important to know where we are and where God is. Where are we in relation to where God desires us to be? I personally feel the need to press in and press through the opposition of the enemy into the good that God has for me and all that I may influence.

Jer. 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

God has “good” planned for those who will answer His call to discipleship. He has a promised (secured) end or divine heritage. We need not question our finish if only we will heed the voice of God.

Jer. 29:12, “Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.”

Oh, to call upon God, to seek His face and hear and see His answer! He promises to hear and respond (hearken). Our challenge is to clearly perceive His response. The Spirit of God is pushing back against the darkness that permeates this sinful world. God is calling His warriors to come along side Him, join in the battle and share His victory. He is calling us to our knees to intercede for a lost and dying world.

Jer. 29:13, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

...ye shall seek me, and find me...” God is always available. He is always with us. But we must have the sense of His presence to recognize His voice and to understand what he is doing or planning to do. God's promise is that we will find Him when we search for Him with all our heart. The human condition requires the intervention of our creator. We always stand in need of God's assistance. The question is, “Do we really want his help?” Are we willing to relinquish complete control of our lives to Him? He knows the way we take (the path we should follow) and will direct our steps accordingly.

God has a plan for us. A plan for good and not evil. He has an expected (secured) finish for His people. Lord, help us to search for you with all our heart. Help us to walk in your manifest presence and to seek you with all our heart! Amen. Yes, it is time to pray!

Paths Of Righteousness! by Myra Boozer

Psalm 23:3, “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.”

Lord, lead your people in the paths of Righteousness and we will always be right where you want us.

You open doors and you shut doors... for that we are grateful. You know the way in which we should go and we do not. Lord we have never been this way before. We must trust YOU.

Some days our hearts are so grieved because of the evil that is running rampant. Our hearts break for the people who suffer and for those who are engulfed with sin and cause such horrible acts.

There is one thing we do know, to exalt your NAME, to lift YOU up, to Praise and Glorify YOU in the SANCTUARY. "Lord prepare me to be a sanctuary, pure and holy, tried and true, with thanksgiving, I'll be a living sanctuary for you."

Lord I pray that I may follow your Spirit as you continue to open the right doors at the right time. I pray that I continue to be led by Your Spirit to follow your voice and be ready to meet you in the air on that Glorious Day when you call your Bride to come up to where you are. What a Day that will be!

Lord, Your Paths of Righteousness will lead to HOME...That is where I long to be.
