Struggles Are Necessary! by Myra Boozer

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 41:31

I have been thinking about struggles lately, maybe because I have had a few. I came across this story and it helps put things into perspective. Maybe it will help someone else.

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no further. So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon.

The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that at any moment the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It was never able to fly.

What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

SOMETIMES STRUGGLES ARE EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED IN OUR LIVES. If God allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could be. We could never fly! Lord, help me to not doubt the path you have chosen for me because you are working ALL things for my good, even in the struggles.

This life is full of struggles but one Day, and it may not be that far away, we are going to hear that trumpet sound and our wings are gonna open wide, lifting us right off this earth to meet our Lord in the clouds. We will be so glad we endured whatever we had to endure to make us strong in the Lord. I'm gonna lift my hands til I reach Heaven...a sign of surrender to the Almighty One and also a sign of adoration to OUR KING. Struggles Are Necessary!

God Will Make A Way!

Tonight, as I contemplate the conditions that exist in our world, I am reminded of how really important it is to believe in a living God who wants to be intimately involved in my life. And, He wants to be involved in your life in the same way. Actually, He desires to be involved in every detail of each and every life on the face of the earth.

Presently, people are dealing with very difficult situations and circumstances all over the world. From China to Europe, to North America and all around the globe, humanity is in a crisis. We have come to a place where we need to know the solution to our dilemma. We need answers to stabilize this volatile environment.

I don’t know how you are feeling right now but I can imagine the varying levels of fear, confusion, frustration, and helplessness that many are experiencing. Our future doesn’t appear too promising if you only look at the current conditions in our world. But there is a solution to each and every problem that we face. God will make a way! Jesus Christ is the Way Maker for every person, community and nation that will call to Him for help!

A good example recounted in the Bible comes to mind. You find the story in the book of Jonah about the great city of Nineveh. God was preparing to destroy the city because of their wickedness. However, God sent Jonah there to warn them. Jonah went throughout the city, from one end to the other telling them that God would destroy the entire city except they repent of their evil ways.

When the King heard Jonah’s warning he declared a time of prayer. He put off his royal garments and clothed himself in sackcloth, covered his head with ashes and knelt before God in repentance. The King led the way and the whole city repented before the Lord God. God spared the city!

During the time of our present crisis our leader, our president has continued to call us to prayer. Our Christian leaders, Clergy, Pastors continue to call us to prayer. It is truly time to pray as a move of God has begun in our praying. We are witnessing believers at the center of this coronavirus outbreaks and beyond, falling on their knees, crying out to God for our deliverance. 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

All over the world, I believe God is calling upon His people to rise up in the power and authority of Jesus Christ and declare deliverance in His Name. The hearts of the fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters are hearing His call and responding. I hear the sound of a mighty army, rising and moving in deliberate unison into the battle and ultimately into deliverance for all who will hear and answer.

God has brought us to this place to give opportunity for all who will call upon His Name to be saved. This is the dividing line and all who have a desire to know God will move toward Him. But, those who don’t want to have any part with Him will move further into darkness. It’s time to choose! It’s Time To Pray!

Prayer For Today! by Myra Boozer

Father God, send your Light that we may walk in it.
Send your Truth that we may proclaim it from the rooftop.
Send your Power that all may see your Glory.
Send your Love that we may be refreshed, renewed and redeemed.
Send your Mercy that we may be rescued from the evil one.
Send your Holiness that we may we washed clean.
Send your Deliverance that we may go free.
Send your Freedom that all will rejoice and dance in the streets.
Send your Son that we may be taken away in the twinkling of an eye...to be where He is, forevermore...Amen!

"Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace." Luke 1:78-79

God's Purpose And Your Future!

God’s purpose and our future is always secure in the obedience of the heart! Acts 27:41, “And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves...43 the centurion...commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land: 44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.” God's process will run its course and in the end, His purpose and our future is secure in our obedience. How many times in our own lives have we survived on the broken pieces of our ship? The storms have been strong and the struggle bitter but we have stayed with God and our end is secured!

The sustaining factor in Paul's life was his relationship with Christ and the fact that he walked in God’s revelation and inspiration. Having an intellectual understanding of scripture can be an advantage. Passion and zeal have their place in the Gospel. And even our incomplete understanding of God's plan is a beginning that we can build upon. But the bottom line is that we must walk in the revelation of Jesus Christ if we are to experience His perfect plan for our lives. Just as Paul had his intimate encounter with Jesus, we must do the same! That is what sustained Paul and that is what will secure God’s purpose in us! God’s Purpose And Your Future!

I Long To See You, Jesus! by Myra Boozer

I long to see You Jesus, high and lifted up in Your Glory, in Your wealthy prominent estate. You are rich in Royalty and flow with Grandeur. You are covered with the precious Anointing of Your Father as he said, "This is My Beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." There is no name above Your Name for You are the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I long to See You, Jesus!

But first I saw You differently. I saw You as one cast down upon a stone, crushed as an olive. There You gave forth the healing balm to all who believe in You.
I saw You being stricken with great ridicule and yet You were humble and You never lashed back.

I saw you being mocked and despised by those that had little or no regard for who You are. But, you said not one word.

I saw You cast aside as a foreigner by those who once loved You and called You Lord, yet You still loved them.

I saw You forgotten and forsaken by those of Your own Household. You still called them Your people.

I saw You betrayed, stripped of Your robe and beaten without mercy, hung on an old rugged cross, mocked, ridiculed and left to die. I felt it was all because of me and my sin. Yet, You could have called ten thousand angels to release You.

Yes, You were held a short season by those who were blinded by their doctrine, traditions and selfish motives, those whom God allowed.

The same is happening today. Many are blind and they do not see the evil doctrines and hideous acts they are condoning, pushing You completely out of their lives. Many are cold, heartless and rebellious. You are still calling out to them in Your Mercy.

You are being crucified afresh, tortured by the heathen and they see You not. You are the Son of God but they are blind.

They give You no esteem for being who You are. They cast You down and consider You useless to them. They consider You powerless and weak, crumbling under their rejection of You. They seem to despise what You represent...Holiness...Truth...and Life Everlasting.

One day in the near future, "at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:10

Lord I am captured by Your love for mankind. You suffered and died for all who would call on Your Name. You went through much agony for us to be with You one day. I see You Strong and Mighty...full of Righteousness...High and Lifted up...Coming in Splendor to receive unto Yourself Your chosen Ones...Those who call You Lord...Those who are willing to die for You if need be...I Long To See You, Jesus!

The Battle For Your Soul! One World Order!

The stage is being set for Satan's last stand. The worldwide events that are taking place at this very moment are a test run to evaluate how humanity will respond to a One World Order. I believe the framework is being established for the consummation of all things. The spirit of Antichrist is moving all players into their positions. Demonic powers are running rampant and only held in check by the WORD and the HOLY SPIRIT. The world population is following the deception like sheep to the slaughter. Because the nations have rejected the influence of the Gospel and the work of the Holy Spirit, God has left them to their own devices to the destruction of their societal structure.

There are few voices to warn the nations when “danger” should be shouted from every mountain top. This last phase will be the “new world order,” or “one world order.” This is the spirit of Antichrist energized by the spirit of darkness, Satan. We know from the Scripture that his goal is one-world government and one-world religion.

On January 1, 2016, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development officially came into force by the United Nations. This “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” was adopted by world leaders in September 2015 at a historic UN Summit. Over the next fifteen years, these 17 new Goals will universally apply to all countries. This document was originally presented in 1987 as “Agenda 21.” The goal is to unify world laws on the environment, religion, and distribution of wealth. The plan proposes an array of actions which are intended to be implemented by every person on earth. It calls for specific changes in the activities of all people. Effective execution will require a profound reorientation of all humans, unlike anything the world has ever experienced.

Every person in the world needs to read “Agenda 2030.” The analysis reads like a horror story right out of the book of Daniel or Revelation. All you need is a leader as described by Daniel or John the Revelator. Just do an internet search for Agenda 2030.

As I have previously stated, God is sending His judgment upon the nations because of the attempt to take Abraham's land from his descendants. The wrath of God will be poured out upon the inhabitants of this world during the time of Great Tribulation spoken of by Daniel, Jesus, and John the Revelator. However, that does not impede God from rendering is judgment when He so desires upon a wicked and rebellious people. He did it in the Old Testament and He will do again.

The World Council of Churches is one such example of rebellion against the will of God. The World Council of Churches (WCC) is a collective of “347 churches, denominations and church fellowships in more than 110 countries and territories.” In recent years, the World Council of Churches has been an advocate for “an end to the illegal occupation of Palestine” by Israel. “It's time to end Israel's illegal occupation of territory; it is time for the political rights of the Palestinian people to be recognized and implemented;”

The World Council of Churches is a product of the United Nations. Both organizations are on the wrong side of God’s Word for Israel. We know that Israel will possess the land God gave to Abraham. God’s Word promises the restoration of the nation of Israel and that invariably includes the land God gave to Abraham. We don't know the conflict and warfare that will occur before that time. But, God began the restoration of Israel to the Holy Land in 1948 and they will remain there under the covering of God’s Covenant with them.

Through our spiritual eyes we can see the approaching consummation of all things! Civil authority is being surrendered to the powers of darkness. Individual liberties are being destroyed and control relegated to the powers that be...governments, local, state, national and international. The stage is set and the players are moving into place. One world government, one world religion and the restoration of Israel are glaring indicators of where we are on God’s timetable. We can not change what is coming, only our response to it. The sin of the world hastens the judgment of God. Let the watchman on the wall cry aloud as the enemy approaches. In doing so he will save himself and all that will hear him. Repent and return to the ways of the Lord!

Jeremiah 4:18, "Your lifestyles and your actions have brought these things on you. This is your calamity—it is indeed bitter, for it has reached your heart!" ISV

Know The Enemy! by Myra Boozer

So much unrest in our world today! So much talk about people having a RIGHT to freedom of speech...even to disrespect our Country and what we STAND for...the things that were once recognized by our country as moral and sacred...the things that our Country upholds because God and His Word say so. When they are aborted, cursed, rejected, denied, protested against...even to publicly disgracing the American Flag and National Anthem all because of hatred and rebellion, how can this be for the good of a people, a country, a nation? How can this be about Freedom?

Some people are on a Campaign to destroy all Freedom because they want the right to destroy those who uphold Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. When the Lion comes to live in your home, he is there for one reason, to eat your family. Do we allow that because "everyone," even lawbreakers should have free speech and act out however they desire? When this is regarded as acceptable, the Enemy wins. We lose!

Tolerance of All actions becomes a prison to the people of a nation. Where is Freedom in that? I Said all that to say this. Don't allow every thought and every campaign to win you over. Don't be a friend to the enemy! His character is to destroy you! Know your enemy! Know those who stir up strife and bitterness. Know those who call good evil and evil good. Know those who do not respect life, born or unborn. Know those who leave God out of the equation and expect you to do the same. Know those who have come to steal, kill and destroy! THEY ARE THE ENEMY...WE MUST NOT GIVE RIGHTS TO THE ENEMY...Know The Enemy!

The Battle For Your Soul! The Spirit Of Antichrist!

1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”

Satan is like a wild animal seeking to devour you. He is attempting to destroy everything and everyone associated with God. The spirit of Antichrist is becoming stronger as each day passes. His followers are becoming more vocal and more active. Their goal is to destroy everything affiliated with Jesus Christ. This is the rise of the last days influence of Satan setting the stage for the beast in the prophecy of Daniel and in the prophecy of John in the book of Revelation.

This conflict between good and evil has manifest itself through the centuries with an ebb and flow of severity. However, the consequences of the conflict can be directly related to the rebellion of man against the laws and sovereignty of God. This is a conflict between the Light of Heaven and the powers of Darkness. Satan’s war has been against the Sovereignty of Almighty God and the man of flesh is his pawn in this conflict.

Although times of evil and darkness have gripped the earth in centuries past, the grand finale is still to come. Satan is preparing for his last stand. He knows his end and will do everything in his power to destroy all he can. He has targeted world governments, world leaders, Christian leaders, Christian churches, families, and individual Christians. His goal is to destroy order and control. He wants to create total chaos.

The course of human history is directly related to the willingness of mankind to seek after and follow the sovereign will of God. In recent years we have seen a digression from Biblical morals and values and a more rapid deviation from Biblical principles in the past decade. This behavior has brought us to where we are as a world community and as a nation. The consequences of rebellion will rule eternity. How we respond to the voice of God will determine our future and the future of all who will hear us. We must understand where we are on God’s timetable! We must remain alert and watchful to escape the cataclysmic events just ahead! Sound the alarm!!! (next, One World Order!)

Time To Be Very Still! by Myra Boozer

Colossians 3:15, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body, and be ye thankful."

For quite a while now a big squirrel has perched right on the top point of the building out back. He looks like an ornament, really, he looks frozen, not moving except the wind blowing his fluffy tail. I wonder if he is angry about this weather, or maybe the stash he had for his family is depleted. I don't know, maybe he is confused by this weather. One moment the sky is sprinkling snow on us, just like you would sprinkle confectioner sugar on your french toast, then all of a sudden it stops and the sun shines so brightly. You think, wow is it over, then it starts up again. That's the way of confusion and it's something we all have at times. It is hard to deal with when your prayers are still not heard and your heart is breaking for your loved ones. You began to question God, “Why the delay?”

This is the time to be very still and very quiet and just wait, just like the squirrel perched on the highest point. God can soothe all our frustrations and calm our minds. We can rest in His presence and know He loves us but we must remember sometimes He allows us a little while of "feeling all alone and confused." Don't give up and don't complain. Rest in the fact that God has it all in His hands and in His time He will make all things beautiful...with no confusion. He brings Peace and Joy that will overflow in our hearts and bring assurance in every situation. Time To Be Very Still!

God, I Need You To Speak For Me!

Almighty God, Lord Jesus Christ, I need You to speak for me today for I am at a loss for words! Capture my mind, my heart and my soul within the power of Your Grace. Create in me the passion, the power and the deliverance of Your vision. Engage my total self to birth the desire of Your heart in me. Fill this frail emptiness with an outflow of Your living water, creating a clean vessel overflowing with Your Love, Your Generosity and Your Compassion. Help me to feel the hurt of precious lives that surround the place that I occupy. Flow through me to aid and comfort those who are bleeding out the wonder of their lives because of the mortal wounds of the enemy.

Anoint me to bring the good tidings of Your Gospel to a broken world. Oh, that Your Holy Spirit in me would bind up the brokenhearted, those whose hearts have been broken asunder by the deceitful, insidious enemy of their souls. Set at Liberty those held captive, held captive by their past. Release them today from their broken dreams and failed plans and cause them to look to You for their total deliverance. Loose the chains and open the prisons for them that are bound. May the Holy Spirit invade the dominion of Satan with such power that the chains will disintegrate at His mere presence. May the presence of Almighty God be so powerful that the prison doors be thrown from their hinges and eternal souls be forever set free.

Lord Jesus, I pray this day for Your anointing to fall heavily upon the Body of Christ, that we walk as You walked, talk as You talk and be as You are, the living breath of life in an otherwise lifeless world. Lord, anoint us with the message of Your Gospel that all who will hear will have life and have that life most abundant. God, I Need You To Speak For Me!

Your Unfailing Love! by Myra Boozer

Jesus, help us to know you better and know your unfailing love. I ask that you show us what real love is all about. We are a needy people with a misunderstanding many times of how much YOU love us. Teach us about your agape love which covers all people. You love the high, the low, the rich, the poor. Your LOVE is like a river that flows freely for one and all. You see us all the same, a people in need of a Savior.

Lord, you've created each of us with a plan, a purpose for our life and not to live an isolated life with no one with whom to share this love you have GIVEN. Lord, your love is not about caring then forgetting. It is pure, holy, full of mercy and EVERLASTING.

When we come under your umbrella of authority, we come into your Kingdom and accept your Lordship. When we cast off the earthly, carnal thinking and resign all our cares to you, You become the force within us to actually love as you love. You open our eyes to see the hurt and confusion in the hearts of mankind.

All souls are mine,” is what you said in your Word. We are to care for one and all, not just the tender and gentle but also the cold and harsh. They need to know you and you want us to love them as you love them. Help us to break down the walls of separation, walls that create solitude and loneliness, the place where lies grow and deception controls, a place of absolute misery and spiritual death without your REDEMPTION.

"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us we ought also to love one another," 1 John 4:10-11.

Lord, I want to sink deep into the truth you have for me today. Nothing should be as important as what you are saying to my heart. Cause me to desire to be filled with your love and mercy. May my actions show those around me your character. Lord, touch my heart with your compassion. Touch my eyes to see their needs, my ears to hear their cries, my hands to offer a healing touch and my lips to speak your words of LIFE.

Prepare our hearts dear Lord, for out of them will flow the most BEAUTIFUL LOVE that we can imagine, love that will cause us to pray for one another. We are FAMILY because you are our Father and we are experiencing Your Unfailing Love!

The Light Of Pure Redemption!

Isaiah 59:1, “Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:”

The condition of our world is not God’s fault! Sin has separated mankind from God but it’s not God’s fault! Man has chosen to walk in the path of sin rather than heed God’s counsel and correction.

In Isaiah 59, Isaiah gives a litany of sins for which Israel needs a redeemer. He observes that judgment, justice, and truth are qualities absent from the life of Israel. Because there was no qualified mediator, God would provide salvation through the coming kinsman Redeemer. This salvation is in Jesus Christ whom they rejected at the First Advent. But God promises that He will forgive their sins and restore them in covenant relationship in the end. Isaiah 59:20, “And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD. 21As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.”

The promise of the kinsman Redeemer “and unto them that turn from transgression,” is a provision of the covenant but will be implemented through repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as the Messiah. That will happen to a remnant of Israel in the end.

The call of God to all humanity is to repent and return to God in covenant relationship through Jesus Christ. Any people who expect the favor and covering of God must approach Him in repentance and follow in obedience. One of the greatest judgments that God brought against Israel was their failure to uphold “truth and justice.” That principle is just as relevant to our world today. If God brought the leadership of Israel to judgment because of their lack of truth and justice, He will do the same for every generation.

We must have the intervention of God in these last days. Let all men in every place fall prostrate before Him, casting all care upon Him, and receive His light of pure redemption. And let His perfect light be exercised through me. Jesus Christ alone is the remedy for ALL our sin and The Light Of Pure Redemption! youtube.com/watch?v=eYefLBtqQyQ

We Are Not Destroyed! by Myra Boozer

Have you lived at this address recently? ll Corinthians 4:8-9 "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; "

Verse 17- 18 " For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory: While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal " Amen!

All Christians will suffer something at some point. We live in a fallen world and sometimes the prince of the world (Satan) will throw you a curveball just when you feel forsaken by a friend or loved one. You know those days when the unexpected comes, like the central unit can't be fixed any longer and you need to get a new one...or when the nail in the tire can't be fixed and this calls for 2 new tires...when the doctor says your A1c is just not good enough and you need meds. We all have those days of trouble but take note we are not in despair, not forsaken, not destroyed. These things are light afflictions and sometimes they can bring something good to our lives...for one thing, they keep us humble if we allow them to. They also help us to see the hand of God and how he makes a way when we think there is no way.

These things we go through are preparing us for the road ahead to help make us stronger in our Faith. As our Faith grows, we learn so much about the all-sufficiency of our Faithful God. We learn he has a plan and if we will put our trust in Him, we will see there is no need to be troubled, distressed or perplexed. When we work with Him, when we commit our ways to His ways, we realize We Are Not Destroyed but blessed. Amen!

It's Getting Late!

Ephesians 5:15, “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. 18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”

Every day and hour previous to this time has been intricate to the plan of God and instrumental to our success in service to Him. However, many times we have needed to return to God and ask Him for a “do-over.” The outcome of our plan didn’t turn out the way it was supposed to or we failed to follow through with our plan for some reason. Whatever the circumstance, God has given us a second chance to get it right. We usually have had the opportunity to do that.

We have come to the threshold of eternity and we may not have time to go back and fix things as before. We need to get it right this time! I’m afraid we might not have a second chance. How many people do we pass in a day's time never to see or influence that person again? What will happen to them if no one else steps into their lives to inspire them to follow Jesus Christ? They will hear the Gospel message in some form or fashion but you just lost the opportunity to make a difference in eternity for that person or persons. We cannot afford to be negligent in being a good steward of this time.

In Ephesians 5, Paul is instructing all who would be accepted of God to follow Him as children of God. Paul goes on to state that believers are to walk as children of light. Previously, we were walking in darkness, but now we are light in the Lord. Therefore, live as children of light to shine in the darkness to direct the way of others. He said, “walk circumspectly,” or carefully knowing that our lives, our testimony will affect those around us. The response of others will depend on how we have responded to the Gospel and let Christ transform our lives.

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Make the most of the time God has given us knowing that when that moment has expired it is lost forever to eternity. Evil is ever-present to resist the Gospel but the love of Jesus Christ is much stronger. Darkness is ever-present and will increase as we draw closer to the end but His Light shines even brighter in the darkness. Let Him shine through you! It’s Getting Late!

Who Will Be Ready? by Myra Boozer

Hebrews 9:28, “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

"What kind of people must we be to be ready for the return of the Lord and to enter the kingdom of heaven with him?" There are many answers to be given. The one that stays with me so much is...We must be watching and waiting for Him (carrying out His commission). He is coming for those who are looking for Him!

We must be set apart from this world and its hold on us. We must be in a loving relationship with Him so as to want to be with Him. Not just use him as an escape route to "get out of " what is coming upon this world in the form of judgment because of sin and wickedness. Luke tells us, "Watch out! Don't let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don't let that day catch you unaware, like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth. Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man," Luke 21:34-36 (NLT).

We must have ears to hear and recognize His voice when He gives us direction...also to hear the trumpet sound...not everyone will hear that sound. We must be ready to go with Him. The Word says to be alert, not dulled by careless living.

Do we love the Bridegroom? Are we laying aside every weight that would hinder us from being ready? Are we watching for His coming? The Truth about the Rapture gives us great incentive to deny worldliness and live holy and righteously today because He could come today.

I wrote this three years ago...more true today than then. Don't let anything sedate you. Stay watchful! This world can pull you in by its luring bait which looks all pretty and innocent but it is a trap and not easy to escape once you have bought into it. Jesus said "And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things, entering in, choke the word, and it become unfruitful," Mark 4:19. 1 John 2:15 tells us to “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” Who Will Be Ready?

Do Not Refuse The Admonition Of The Lord!

Hebrews 12:25, “See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: 26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.”

This reference in Hebrews 12 is looking back to a prophecy given by the prophet Haggai in 2:6-9. Haggai 2:6, “For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; 7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts. 8The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. 9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.”

God's promise was for a shaking of all things that can be shaken, all things earthly so that things eternal shall remain. Both point to a yet future time when all things created will be separated from those things eternal.

Haggai was the first prophetic voice to be heard following the exile of God's people in Babylon. His mission was to call the people to finish the Temple. Work on the Temple had faltered and the people turned inward to their own perceived needs. Haggai chided the people for living in their “ceiled houses” while the Temple was left unfinished. His call was “consider your ways.” God's warning was that He would bring their prosperity to naught because His house laid waste. The Lord stirred them up and they finished the Temple. This restored Temple was nothing compared to the Temple that Solomon built and the elders were reminded of that when they looked upon the new structure.

However, God reiterated His covenant with Israel in Haggai 2:5, “According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.” Now He is looking into the future in v6-9 when He will fully restore the nation in their promised land given to their father Abraham. The Hebrews writer gives greater clarity to this passage in Heb. 12:27, “And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” Once again “...I will shake the heavens, and the earth..,” Haggai 2:6.

This prophecy points to the future fulfillment and restoration of Israel at the second coming of Jesus Christ. Haggai 2:7, “...I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come:..” Jesus Christ is the desire of all nations that should come. At the Second Advent, Jesus Christ will establish the Kingdom of God on the earth and rule from the throne of David in Jerusalem. and “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former..,” Haggai 2:9. Then, the prophecy of Haggai will be fulfilled. Former things will pass away and ALL things will become new in Him.

The shaking referred to by Haggai and the writer of Hebrews refers to a time of separation. A time when the earthly will be separated from the eternal, the good from the bad, the wheat and tares, the harvest and the chaff. The end result being the establishment of the literal, eternal Kingdom of God to be ever-present with the redeemed of God.

Make sure that you have built upon the rock. When this shaking comes, only the redeemed of Christ will survive! Matthew 7:24, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.” Do Not Refuse The Admonition Of God!

I Can Only Imagine! by Myra Boozer

Oh Lord, how my heart does sing when I hear Your people worship in song. It is a glorious feeling to be brought into Your presence. Your love captures us and we are taken away by Your spirit, taken into the heavenly realms of rejoicing and praising Your Holy Name.

One day we will stand in Your presence and bow at your feet. We will be free from all of the thoughts that try to rush in and steal our admiration of YOU!

We will be without any restraints. We will have no hindrances. We will have no reservations. It will be a time of jubilation, a time of exaltation! What Joy will flood our mind, our body, and our soul.

This mortal body cannot imagine what Glory we shall experience when we see You face to face. "Will we dance before you Jesus or in awe of you be still?"

It will be an event like we have never experienced. So, we can only imagine what it will be like to stand before You in Your Glory.

I will continue to think on this day and prepare my heart to be still and just rest in the mystery of what Eternity will bring.

"Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted. For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted. For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our King," Psalm 89:15-18.

Whatsoever You Will Ask!

John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

To abide in Jesus is to carry His name. To carry His name is to carry His presence. The Bible says, “how can two walk together except they agree.” If we truly walk with Christ, we will embrace His Truth. Then, we can agree together with Him concerning His will. Matt. 18:19, “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”

There is power in our coming into agreement with Jesus Christ just as His agreement with God, the Father! His one accord with the Father opened the windows of heaven to Him and our one accord with Him will do the same for us. He has all the resources that we will ever need.

The power of heaven contains unlimited possibilities to those who will trust and believe! There is power to break every chain. Power to live for Christ and walk in unbridled victory, free to flow in the Spirit and experience His presence from glory to glory. He leads us up, higher and higher into His Majesty. Having been exposed to His glorious Light we will never be the same.

We are changed in His presence. We can never be the same once His glory has shown upon us. We are changed forever and He has planted such a desire to reach higher. His presence is so addictive that no sooner than you walk away, you have an unquenchable need to return. And we can return again and again. There is no limit as to the glory we can experience in His presence.

Simply come to Jesus in obedience and submission and He will carry you to heights previously unknown. He will reveal to you truths you haven't understood and emotions you've never experienced. But, most of all He will reveal Himself to you and in you so that the world around you can see Him and be touched by Him, “that the father may be glorified in the Son.” Whatsoever You Will Ask!

God Knows The Best Way! by Myra Boozer

A few years ago our two granddaughters were playing so sweetly together. All of a sudden, I heard a cry that shouldn't have been part of their playtime. Then I heard the youngest say to her sister, “You're being rude because you won't let me do what I WANT to do.” This really got my attention. How childish but then again she was only 6 years old.

Even as adults we sometimes feel this way toward God. We may even say, "God, this is just not fair." We think He is not being a good Father when He doesn't give us what we WANT. Well, we are wrong! He knows what is best for His Children and He will do what is best. But, there may come a time when we refuse to do what is right and He will let us go our own way and do what we want to do.

Now, that is a scary place to be and we don't want to stay there very long. When we choose to walk away then we must choose to go back where we left God, repent with tears and do things His way. He is not going to come and say, "Child I was wrong, do what you want and everything is okay."

God will help us at any time. He loves us but we must go His way, not ours. "Can two walk together except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3. Are you asking God to go your way, or are you going His way?

When we walk with the Lord we learn so much about His character. We learn about His loving patience and His unending mercy. But, we also learn about His boundaries and His laws. He is not a pushover and He is not one to allow us to live reckless and ungodly lives. He is strict with His requirements of righteous living. He will discipline us and sometimes correct us with a strong hand. But, walking hand in hand with Jesus will lead us right into Heaven. That is the place we all want to live when this life is over. God Knows The Best Way to get there!

Sound The Alarm! Conclusion

The world-system has become so jaded that almost nothing is viewed as wrong. Our society has been conditioned over time to accept sin. A spirit of “inclusion” has been embraced by many churches so nobody feels left out. Everybody must be accepted regardless of their relationship with God or manner of living. We are to love all people but the Church of Jesus Christ cannot accept a lifestyle of sin. Sin must be brought before the Lord in repentance!

Gradually the enemy has crept in and performed his despicable work, undermining the very foundation of our existence. From the beginning, our social order was built upon the family unit. God's design for the family has been manipulated to fit every desire and convenience imaginable to mankind. God has His Standard which cannot be manipulated to please anyone! The Word of God calls for the sinner to repent of their sin, turn from their sin and follow after the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul wrote to Timothy of the evil in the last days in 2 Tim. 3:1-5 identifying the total depravity of the human state. "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4. Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5. Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."

As Christ's return draws near, the depraved conditions will increase. "But evil men...shall wax worse..."v.13. Paul describes mass corruption and lawlessness. The warning is that the condition of the world ultimately presses into the Church. "Having a form of godliness but denying the power..."v5. Having the resemblance of Christian service but without the spiritual dynamic of the Holy Spirit. Peter said, "These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest…" 2 Peter 2:17. The barrenness of this false religion mocks the thirsty soul by promising refreshment but can not deliver. Perhaps Jude states it best in vs.12-13, "These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear; clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever."

In Eph. 6:11 Paul instructs the Church to "put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." The emphasis is on the "whole armor of God" in its completeness providing power against "the wiles of the devil." Romans 13:12-14, reads, "...put you on the Lord Jesus Christ…"

Paul addresses the armor of God as a complete covering. Its completeness corresponds to the divine perfection of Christ's humanity. We are "to grow up unto Him in all things." Eph. 4:15. We are to put on His image in all the harmony of truth, righteousness, peace, and faith. We are to receive the spiritual energy and power of Christ as the "Word." Jesus Christ is the solution to the present human condition! He is the embodiment of our power and authority to defeat the "flesh." Sound The Alarm!

Who's Going To Tell Them? by Myra Boozer

Psalm 7:9, “Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. 10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. 11 GOD JUDGETH THE RIGHTEOUS, AND GOD IS ANGRY WITH THE WICKED EVERY DAY.” (emphasis added)

This may be hard and difficult for some Preachers to Preach. But, someone needs to tell the people if they live wickedly that God is angry. There is so much wickedness going on in our world. God is certainly not happy with them! You can read Psalms 7:12-16 and see what He has in mind for the wicked. Verse 16 states, "His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate." I thought there was an error but the word pate, according to Webster means the head, especially the top of the head. I believe it is time for REPENTANCE unless people want to meet an angry God. But, Who's Going To Tell Them?

Sound The Alarm!

Joel 2:1, "Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand."

Everywhere I look I see the hand of God's impending judgment upon our world. Wars, tyranny, civil unrest, spiritual discontent, oppression, death, disease, starvation, helplessness, hopelessness and on we go. Jesus said it would be this way. He told His disciples in Matt. 24 that there would be wars and rumors of more wars. He said there would be famines, pestilence, earthquakes but these things are only the beginning of sorrow. The worst is yet to come.

The call of Joel 2:1 is to awaken the people of Judah to the judgment of God hanging over their head. God sought through Joel to correct their Godless living and return them in repentance to Jehovah. Joel sees the plague of the drought and locusts as judgment for the sins of Judah. He makes a direct correlation between sin and judgment.

We know according to history that Jerusalem was destroyed along with the Temple of Solomon, the land was laid waste and the people carried away to Babylon in 587 BC by King Nebuchadnezzar. Judah suffered in captivity because of their unwillingness to heed the voice of God and return in repentance to Jehovah.

How can people believe that they can live any way they choose and not reap the consequences of their choices? God created man higher than any other creature and gave us the unique quality of freedom of choice. However, we all must understand that there are consequences attached to each and every choice.

So then, what is the answer to the present human condition? What shall we do in the face of overwhelming judgment? Repentance and restitution is the answer to the world’s fallen state. And like a watchman upon the wall, we are mandated to sound the alarm that judgment is coming. People, God's most precious creation, must be made aware that sin has consequences. Romans 6:23 tells us, "For the wages of sin is death..." We will reap what we sow. "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting," Gal. 6:7-8. If we sow righteous deeds we will reap a righteous reward. If we sow sinful deeds we will reap a sinners reward. (continued)

My Safe Place! by Myra Boozer

Life is so full of troubles, trials and disappointments and many days our hearts can be broken because of all that is going on in our world. Neglected children, the forgotten elderly, the sick and dying and the lonely with no one to share the day. It is a beautiful thing to know that God has a place that provides protection and shelter, a place one can turn to for help, relief, and escape. The Lord tells us He is with us at all times. But we must leave our little world of survival and focus our hearts and minds towards Him who is our refuge.

When we give all our TRUST to Him alone, then it happens. He comes and sits with us and talks with us wrapping His big arms of love around us. It is then we realize we are not alone or overtaken by any burden that He cannot handle.

When we allow the Holy Spirit to renew our mind we are actually surrendering to what is going on and receiving our life vest for survival during our storm. Spiritually, we are taken into that safe place of His protection, His pavilion and none of the things of this world can defeat us. Not that we are not there already, but when our hearts don't stay FIXED on Him, we do not REST in His PRESENCE.

We must stay awake and aware that the world will pull us in, leaving us vulnerable to Satan and his lies of defeat. BUT Jesus says come unto me ALL of you that are troubled or overtaken and I will give you REST. He is our safe place in a world of calamity. He is our shelter in the time of the storm. He is the one who lifts us up above the shadows and puts our feet on solid ground.

To really know Him is to TRUST Him...To Trust Him means that your soul will be at REST... When all around us is crumbling down...Our heart is fixed on the Lord and we are safe and secure in Him...Jesus is My Safe Place!

God Is Lifting Up His Standard!

In the Old Testament economy, a standard was the identifying colors of an army or kingdom. It was necessary to be able to identify allies and enemies. God's promise to Israel was that He would stand with them against His enemies. This is a necessary principle in our spiritual warfare today.

God will set apart (sanctify) and identify as His the believers in His Kingdom. How is that going to happen? It is happening at this present moment! God is, by His Spirit, lifting His Standard and His obedient followers are flowing to it, as the enemy comes in like a flood.

We are currently living in the time Isaiah described in chapter 59. In verses 16-21, Isaiah writes by the inspiration of the Spirit of God concerning the last days restoration of the nation of Israel. God brought salvation at the first Advent of Christ but Israel rejected Him. At His second Advent or second coming He will judge His enemies and restore salvation to Israel. The restoration of Israel is at hand. The deliverance of the Body of Christ is even at the door. (continued)

He Shall Preserve Thy Soul! by Myra Boozer

"The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul" Psalms 121:7

In his writings, David spoke so often of knowing where his help came from. He knew where to look and in whom to put his trust. He knew who his keeper was. His life sustainer was the Lord God Jehovah! Do you know that today? Are you settled in that very important fact?

Psalm 146:2, “While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. 3Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help...5Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: 6Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:” This chapter goes on to tell us what the Lord will do for the oppressed, the hungry, the prisoners, the blind, those bowed down, the strangers, the fatherless, and the widow. These promises are very positive. But then he says in v9, "...But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down." That is a promise also, but it is NOT good! We have the promise that the LORD preserves all them that LOVE Him but the wicked He will destroy.

My HOPE today is in the Lord our maker. I am so thankful for a President who is standing on the side of Christian freedom, that He stands with Israel, that he has not given up on America and thrown in the towel. But my HOPE is not in the President or any other politician. My HOPE is in the promises of THE BOOK...God's Holy Word. "The Name of the LORD is a strong tower, the righteous runneth into it and is safe," Proverbs 18:10.

People, when you run to the Lord for His forgiveness and for His protection, STAY THERE. Don't run in and out thinking you can be saved or safe when you keep playing with the world, getting into all kinds of sin. There is much false doctrine and many are falling for untruth because it sounds good but it is not TRUTH.

There is only one way and that is by the blood of JESUS. Don't trample HIS blood by playing with the world and falling for the doctrines of devils. IF GOD SAYS IN HIS WORD THAT IT IS WRONG, IT IS WRONG AND NO ONE CAN CHANGE THAT.

God is a jealous God! He doesn't accept a half time relationship. He wants all of our heart. Stay with God, live close to HIM and PRAY. “The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He Shall Preserve Thy Soul.”

The Sure Path!

Proverbs 2:1, “My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; 2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; 3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; 4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; 5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.”

The poor receive the good news in the Gospel!
The broken-hearted are healed in the Gospel!
The captives are delivered in the Gospel!
The blind receive their sight in the Gospel!
The bruised are given liberty in the Gospel!
The burdened and battered are set free in the Gospel!

Thanks be to the God of our salvation who gives us the victory through the shed blood of Jesus Christ! There is no mountain too high, no valley too wide that the blood of Jesus cannot transcend and make all things right. All it takes is a broken and contrite heart willing to turn ourselves and all our baggage over to God.

Seek the Lord while He may be found. Isaiah 55:6, “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:” 2 Cor. 6:2, “...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” The Message Bible states it this way, “Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped.” Follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ! It is The Sure Path!

Something To Think About! by Myra Boozer

If there were no God and no Bible filled with the prophecy about the last days, what intelligent person would think that this world would last long with all that is going on? When Nations are about to fall because of the economy and collapse because of debt...moral decline has hit BOTTOM...the earth is coming apart at the seams because of earthquakes and volcanoes...people are killing the innocent at an increasing rate...evil men have grown more corrupt in their deeds, hating and killing all over the world...disease and sickness are out of control.

What kind of future do you see? It is horrible, beyond horrible if time goes on! But for those who love God and have chosen to follow Him, He has made a way of ESCAPE. He is coming to take us out of this horrible and depraved atmosphere that has been created by ungodly men and women.

People have pushed God aside and want to create a new world with NO rules or standards of Godliness. It seems every day you hear more plans to confuse and turn our children and grands from the truth that God designed for us to follow or to be as He created us to be. Everyday sin is getting stronger in the hearts and minds of sinful men. Even if there were no God and no Bible...(WHICH THERE IS) this world could not go on the way it is going. Sin is like cancer and it destroys.

The great news is that God spared not His only begotten Son but sent Him to earth to take the punishment for the sin of mankind. The ball is now in your court. You can choose to allow Him to forgive your sins and choose to follow Him or remain as you are and suffer the punishment of sin throughout eternity.

2 Corinthians 13:5, "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" Something To Think About!

I Need You Lord Jesus!

My Lord Jesus Christ, show forth Your Mercy! When I survey my world, I am troubled and distracted by the events and conditions surrounding me! I need You to help me to focus on Your will for today. I need You to guide my thoughts, my prayers, my speech, and my steps. It is only through You that I can press through the darkness which surrounds me, darkness and evil so intrusive and pervasive that its goal is to take away Your very Life in me.

I struggle within this fleshly house, and I know that it is Your strength that will prevail. Rise up, Oh Holy Spirit, and exert Your ownership in me. Push back the darkness and evil that takes my very breath away. Breathe on me the eternal, sovereign, deliverance that only You can bring. Trouble may endure for a night but Your Joy will come in the morning. The darkness will be forced to retreat and dissipate as the Son of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings. Healing for the soul, mind and body.

Oh God! Take me there, where no sadness or sorrow can exist. Lift me up above the shadows of this world and set my feet upon the mountain top, high above the battle for my eternal soul. Release me from the chains of this mortal existence and cause me to walk in the everlasting life of Your Eternal Promise. I long to walk by the still waters and rest in Your Divine Presence.

Oh, how I desire to escape from this intruder sent to buffet me. He has come upon me suddenly and abruptly. He is not welcome here and I will resist with every ounce of strength until You come. And You will come to release me from the bonds of this flesh.

Bring the rain of Your sweet Deliverance upon my thirsty soul. Fill my mind, my heart and my soul with Your Word of Promise. Cause the aroma of Your Presence to envelope me. Push back the evil and darkness. Direct me to walk in the light of Your Path and surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life! All I Need Is You, Lord Jesus!

Not A Death Sentence! by Myra Boozer

Psalm 16:11, "Thou wilt shew me the path of life; in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."

Being on the wrong road does not have to be a "death sentence." It is sometimes difficult to admit, "I have made a wrong turn." The sooner one stops and checks the road map, the sooner one can get back on the right road headed in the right direction.

The same is true in our spiritual life. One must admit, I have taken the wrong exit, or sometimes just kept on going on the same road that was taking them further and further from the intended destination. Actually now is a good time to talk to the Lord and confess one's disobedience or whatever the distraction that caused the error. This is not an easy solution but it is the only one that works.

People call it different things such as indifference, stubbornness, hardheadedness, to name a few. The Bible uses some words like rebellious, stiff-necked, blind, unaware, dreamers, complainers, those who have gone in the way of Cain. I think the bottom line is they who have gotten on the wrong road just don't have the strength or the desire to stop and evaluate where they are headed. They go deeper and deeper into depression, loneliness, confusion, and heartache which can lead to spiritual death. All because they were not willing to check with the Word of God (The Spiritual road map). They will find it will lead them further and further from understanding what the Will of God is for their life. They can no longer reason out what to do and are overtaken by guilt from their failure in following the wrong road.

Being on the wrong road does not have to be a "death sentence." The Lord knows the way you should go. Cry out to Him in your despair and listen to His voice. When He speaks and gives you direction, follow His directions, the sooner the better. He can lead you out of your dilemma and set you on a straight path. A path that leads to a much better ride with a clear and determined destination of Eternal Life at the end of the way.

Jesus Gives Us Power To Overcome!

Matthew 28:18, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

According to the Bible, we know that God is always the VICTOR! God is Sovereign in power and authority and when He is challenged He always WINS. In the book of Exodus, when God was bringing His people out of slavery in Egypt, Satan challenged God. God said, “let My people go,” and ten times Satan replied through his servant Pharaoh, No! God responded with ten plagues of pestilence, disease, and death. The Israelites were protected. God was VICTORIOUS!

Satan challenged God again at the Red Sea. With Pharaoh's army behind them and the Red Sea before them, Moses and the children of Israel had nowhere to go except to God. God’s response, “...stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD,” Exodus 14:13. God miraculously divided the Red Sea and Israel walked through on dry ground. When all of Israel had reached the other side, the waters miraculously returned to their former state drowning the entire Egyptian army. God is always VICTORIOUS!

That same Bible teaches us that Jesus will WIN this present raging spiritual war! Though the enemy rises up to interfere with our mission, our victory has already been secured. Jesus declared victory at Calvary as He proclaimed, “It is finished!” John 19:30, “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”

God sent Jesus to be the Savior of the world, to take upon Himself the sin of all men and pay the awful price for sin. That price was the death of the sacrifice, His sacrifice. But, in three days Jesus came out of the grave to declare our final victory over death, hell and the grave. Consequently, He embodies the Power of God to Prevail over all things, “...of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth,” Philippians 2:10. Jesus is our power to prevail. Jesus Gives Us Power To Overcome!

Remember Your Promise! by Myra Boozer

Many have made a promise to the Lord to spread His Gospel message to a lost and dying world. Maybe when you got saved, when you were in Revival hearing the Word of God and had a real "revelation" of what Hell is going to be like for all those who do not accept Christ... Maybe when you were at Youth Camp sitting around a big fire after the sun had gone down... You were given a pine cone to throw in the fire that represented your commitment to share salvation with a lost world.

All of these and more happened in my life and as a child, I knew God had a plan for me. I am sure I could have done more but it has been my life's purpose to help people know JESUS. I cannot stop now! We are too close to the coming of the Lord! More than ever, we must REMEMBER our promise to tell others. Tell people about JESUS the Son of God coming as a baby born in Bethlehem to become the Savior of the world. And, tell people about HIS SECOND COMING as KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS to establish the KINGDOM OF GOD and RULE AND REIGN FOREVER! Remember Your Promise!

The Power Of The Gospel!

Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith...”

God has shown His mercy and grace toward the whole of mankind in that while we were all still sinners, Jesus Christ died for our sins. He sought us out and saved us. He left the ninety and nine and came to find us and bring us home. Therein is the redeeming power of His name. There is delivering power in the name of Jesus. That is the power of the Gospel!

Thank you God for the power of the Gospel. I am not ashamed of the Gospel for it is the power of God unto salvation in Christ Jesus to all who will believe. I embrace the promise of your Word and agree with you for all who will hear the Gospel and believe. Make me a beacon of light through Your Word. May Your Words of Truth pierce through the darkness with such fervor and power that Your Word will compel the lost to repent and turn to You.

Send Your Power in me to pierce the darkness. That is what I seek as an instrument of the cross to reflect Your glory. Set me ablaze with the fire of the Holy Spirit so that all who come near the place of my habitation will feel the intense heat, that the power of Your presence would be so great that the barriers that separate fallen man from the Truth would fall flat, the doors of captivity would burst open, the chains of religion would fall helplessly away, the fetters that keep us from pursuing You would be ripped loose. I pray that those in bondage be set free and those restricted in service be inhibited no more. Lord Jesus, set us free from all encumbrances and make us a faithful and victorious warrior in the Kingdom of God.

The Power Of The Gospel has set us free!
