Waiting On God! by Myra Boozer

When a well-known Christian teacher was a young student himself, he was moved with compassion to buy a meal for a Mother and her hungry little child instead of himself. He walked the street that night going back to his room with an empty stomach but a full heart. He thought inasmuch as he had given to one of God's suffering ones that God would in some way provide a breakfast for him the next morning. The morning came and all the others were eating, he had nothing. He was a strong young man and he was getting hungry.

This is alright, he thought, God will provide something. Maybe he would find the money on the side walk or get some payment for work. God would provide but He did not. Same thing the next day and he was getting ravenously hungry. He knew he could borrow money from a friend. He thought, “NO, I will not borrow money. I expect to be a preacher and tell people that if they do right, God will take care of them. I will see this thing through and if God does not take care of me, I will never preach to others that God will take care of them.”

There was no lunch and no dinner on the second day. On the third day he still believed in God and waited his time. Toward the middle of the afternoon, one of the instructors called him aside and said "I have received a check with directions to give this to someone who will use it wisely. I have decided to give it to you.” It was a check for 36 dollars. He bought food and some much needed items. From that time to now he has never passed through such a testing time as on that occasion.

We will learn many things from our heart of compassion. When we deny ourselves to help others, we grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. He always thought of others and not of himself to the point of laying down his life for all humanity. The moment we realize it is NOT all about us, we become a true servant of the Lord.

In times of trusting God for our needs do we get fretful and anxious? Knowing that things are not moving along as fast as we had desired, do we just give up and seek another source? HOW LONG ARE WE WILLING TO WAIT ON GOD? The answer does not always come quickly. "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD," Psalm 27:14.

Who Is God And What Is My Understanding Of Him?

Psalm 24:8, “Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. 9 Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 10 Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty—he is the King of glory.”

Who is the King of Glory? Who is the Lord God Jehovah? Who is God and what is my understanding of Him? This question comes resounding across the pages of history and has been debated by all manner of men in every generation. But, what it comes down to is, “Who is God with respect to my understanding of Him and His relevance to my life.” Life must come to that benchmark in the totality of who we are as individuals. We must settle the question in each of us! We are totally and utterly LOST until we do!

The Apostle Paul is an excellent example of one who settled the question and in return gathered the harvest destined for his life. However, the process was not painless or effortless. For him to settle the question of who God was to him, required that he make some drastic changes.

First and foremost Paul had to have a change in his thinking concerning God. He thought he knew God! He thought he knew the mind of God so he threw himself into the adherence of the Law. His passion was to enforce the Law of God as interpreted by the religious leaders of his time. In so doing, he placed himself in a position to diametrically oppose Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus was the answer to Israel’s prayers. He was God’s Messiah to deliver His people. This was God’s plan! Therefore, Paul’s mindset made him an adversary to the very ONE that he professed to love. Beware The Apostate Church! by Myra Boozer

Today there are many apostate churches with their feel good message of, come as you are, stay as you are, God accepts you! This “NO need for a change of heart or lifestyle” is NOT from GOD but from Satan. It is the broad road that leads directly into hell and many are being fooled because no one will tell them the TRUTH. Matt. 7:13, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at:”

The sugar coated preaching with no scriptural standard will not transform the life of a sinner! The Truth that Jesus speaks is OFFENSIVE to the sinner. Heb. 4:12, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

It is not a "feel good about your sin" MESSAGE but, “depart from sin, deny yourself, take up your CROSS and follow Christ” message. When true conviction comes to a person, it is the most UNCOMFORTABLE feeling in the world. The warm and fuzzy feeling will follow but not until after REPENTANCE.

God CONVICT the spiritually blind people who are doing a great injustice to those who are seeking truth. They are enemies of the cross! They are your enemy! Don't listen to them and their spirit of error message. The Spiritually blind people are the workers of iniquity and their master is not GOD, no matter how many programs or Bible Studies they may have, no matter how many people attend their church, no matter how many mission programs they support. When a pastor and church promote anything more than the "turn from your wicked ways" message they are the apostate church teaching and preaching in error. Matt. 15:14, “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”

When a church is dead in its traditions, they do the same thing year after year and get the same results. The Spirit of Life is not flowing! It takes the anointing of the Holy Ghost to break the yoke of sin! Without the moving of Holy Ghost power to convince and convict the sinner, it becomes a club of people who still claim their sin but want to believe heaven is waiting for them. When the blind lead the blind they both fall in the ditch. If your church is sugar coating the message, it is the apostate church! Get out, seek God, read His Word and allow the Spirit to transform you into His vessel of honor. Obey His voice as He leads you into all Truth…

John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

These Are Perilous Times! Conclusion

(See yesterday's post for part 1)

2 Timothy 3:1, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be...3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

Paul told Timothy that in the last days perilous times would come and then he detailed the conditions that would come to pass. He said that men would become “...Lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.” The Greek word used for “pleasure” is Philedonos. This word comes from two other words, philos and hedone. The first meaning “friend” and the second meaning “pleasure, desires for pleasure and lust.” From this concept the world has created Hedonism which is the ethical theory that pleasure (in the sense of the satisfaction of desires) is the highest good and proper aim of human life. Paul was saying that in the last days man’s pursuit of pleasure would be greater that his pursuit of God!

“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” Having the resemblance of Christian service but without the spiritual dynamic of the Holy Spirit. Peter said, "These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest…" 2 Peter 2:17. The barrenness of this false religion mocks the thirsty soul by promising refreshment but can not deliver. Perhaps Jude states it best in vs.12-13, "These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear; clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever." Paul says from such turn away or have no part with them. They will drag you into outer darkness with them!

Paul has described the characteristics of our world in 2023. We are presently living in that time! We can look at each character trait and we must admit that we are seeing that behavior in our society. Paul was prophesying about this time and the world we are living in and he connected these conditions with the last days! In the face of such overwhelming evidence in this passage and others, along with the conditions and events happening all over the world, we must conclude that THESE ARE THE PERILOUS TIMES OF THE LAST DAYS!

The Last Days! by Myra Boozer

"This know also, that in the last days perilous (uncertain)times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous (desire, envy) boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent (without self-restraint especially in sexual activity) fierce (furious, enraged, vehement, cruel, insane, hellish) despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, (intoxicating) highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers(various) lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was," 2 Timothy 3:1-9 KJV.

These are not my words but the words of God through His servant. The next chapter tells us "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the TRUTH, and shall be turned unto fables (a fictitious story, a falsehood),” 2 Timothy 4:3-4.

We are living in the last days! We are to preach the Word and remember these words, "And the LORD shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen," 2 Timothy 4:18.

These Are Perilous Times!

2 Timothy 3:1, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

Paul told Timothy that in the last days perilous times would come. The original word for “last” is Eschatos meaning “last in time or in place.” From this word is derived Eschatology which is relating to the end of the world or the events associated with it. Paul states that this period of last days will be perilous times, hard to bear, troublesome, dangerous, harsh, fierce and savage times. Then, he continues to characterize this period of last days.

“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy...” Paul is describing a selfish people in this verse. Have you ever observed a more selfish and entitled generation? We are living in one of the most self-absorbed times in the history of mankind. It is hard to find people who are concerned about anyone else but themselves. Jesus said to love our neighbor as ourselves. People who are only focused on themselves do not have the capacity to love others. Consequently, the driving force in their lives is to gain for self and it doesn’t matter who they hurt to achieve their goal.

“Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.” Without natural affection is used only twice in the New Testament. It is used here and in Romans 1:31. The term “affection” comes from the Greek astorgos meaning unsociable, unloving, inhuman. Paul states that these characteristics will manifest themselves in the last days.

Well, we are seeing these things manifest right before our eyes. It is without natural affection for a mother of an unborn child to abort that living, developing baby. It is without natural affection for two people of the same sex to enter into a sexual relationship. It is unsociable, inhuman and perverted love according to God’s Holy Word. And when the followers of Jesus Christ take a stand for these Biblical Truths, the false accusers, the fierce and despisers of those that are good, go ballistic. The haters, the militant, the defiant instigate social disorder, destroying public and private property and even causing the death of the innocent. They are incontinent, without self control and intemperate! (continued)

Lord, Deliver Us From Evil! by Myra Boozer

Dear Lord, I ask that YOU help all Christians to stand strong against the evil in our world. Help us to not be shaken by what is coming and already here. We desire that nothing hinder us as we seek YOU.

May we trust YOU in these evil days. We desire to stand in the power of YOUR might against the enemy of our soul and the souls of our families. Lord may we receive wisdom to know how to share YOUR Gospel Message effectively.

Evil is on every hand trying to destroy every good work, especially the work of the righteous. Lord may we seek to be filled and overflowing with YOUR Spirit so that no evil spirit can enter our hearts.

We must rise up as Daniel and proclaim YOUR Word because it is power unto salvation. God, Your Word tells us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We stand on that truth! It tells us that we are made over-comers by YOUR blood and the word of our testimony.

We proclaim YOUR Word is truth! We cast our cares on YOU and delight ourselves in YOU. May faith continue to arise in our hearts as we send praises to YOUR throne. Deliver Us From Evil for thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory...Forever...Amen

Why Is Our World In Such A Chaotic State?

Joel 1:1, “The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel. 2 Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers? 3 Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation. 4 That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten. 5 Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth. 6 For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion. 7He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.”

Joel viewed this plague of locust an invading army descending upon the nation of Israel as the judgment of God. The call had been given to repent and return to the theocratic rule of the Lord God Jehovah. Israel had refused and rebelled against God and God’s messengers.

Our world is descending into this pit of darkness at an alarming pace. We are now observing disorder and dissension at every level of governance. It began at the national levels and is bleeding down into the regional and local levels. It is affecting the small communities and individual families.

The calamity and chaos will not stop! It will not go away! It will invariably come to your house and to mine unless the problem is addressed. As a people, we have a deep seated spiritual problem! It goes down deep into the soul, embedding itself in the very heart of every human being. The root of the issue is SIN and an unwillingness to REPENT and TURN from that SIN. This plague and every plague of darkness draws it’s strength from SIN and REBELLION.

No person or group of people are immune from this disease of indifference, hatred and darkness that has invaded our land. This is like the plague of locust described in the book of Joel. This plague will continue moving deliberately, methodically and with absolute certainty unless it is challenged by the Power of Heaven.

Jesus placed His power and authority within the Body of Christ to address every ill of our ailing society. We must rise up in the power and authority of Jesus Christ and address the chaotic state of our world! We must rise up in prayer in the Holy Ghost and pray against this darkness. In the Name of Jesus the Body of Christ has power over every demonic power and the very power of Satan himself. He can do nothing but cower in the darkness when we invoke the Name of Jesus. Jesus’ blood has conquered him and he knows he is defeated. Philippians 2:10, “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;” Hell and the depth of everything in it will be cast down and give way for the Mighty Lion of Judah. Thanks be unto God who always gives us the victory over all things in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise God forever!

In The Morning Light! by Myra Boozer

In the morning light, things are so much clearer. I can see further than I expected. I see HOPE resting high upon the mountain, just waiting for me to come and save her from all the doubts that were lurking during the night. They are hiding under the rubble of yesterday's leftover trials and heartaches.

I can see her looking all radiant in the sunlight, where I couldn't see her at all in the midnight. She needs me to be her friend as she bids me come. But, more importantly I need her. I could never face TODAY without HOPE.

With so much depression spreading over our world and people feeling helpless and hopeless, I pray they will look up and find HOPE in Jesus Christ. He is the answer to all our needs. He gives us the strength to press on even though the darkness comes and doubt is always hiding in the shadows.

HOPE remains steadfast! The secret is, “get up out of the rubble of despair and reach for her.” Yes, it takes effort but, your life is dependent upon YOU making the right choice. Hope isn't hiding from you! But, you must look for her! In The Morning Light!

Take This Whole World But Give Me Jesus!

Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

“In the morning when I rise, give me Jesus.” So goes the lyrics of one of my favorite songs. Jesus is my Beginning and He will be my End. He is my Sustainer and my Provider. Though I pass through this intense darkness, He is my Light and my Salvation. I may not know the next step to take but He is my Guide and gives me perfect peace in the turmoil. He will speak to this storm and declare “PEACE BE STILL.” He restores the strength of my soul and causes me to rise up on wings as an eagle. He makes me to soar high above the conflict in this world, separated from the struggle. He keeps me in the hallow of His hand and Nothing can pluck me from His saving grace.

That is the power of His abiding presence! Power to push back the evil and darkness that has captured the innocence of life and destroyed so many precious souls. The power of His presence in me enables me to declare in the Name of Jesus, “YOU SHALL PROCEED NO FURTHER.” There is power in the Name of Jesus over all that comes against me. As He abides in me and I in Him, He will vanquish every foe and cause me to triumph over every evil plan of the enemy. Oh! Victory in Jesus, my Savior forever! He will keep me in perfect peace as my focus is on Him! That Peace is my total Freedom Forever! Amen! Take this whole world, just Give Me Jesus!

Looking For The Glorious Appearing! by Myra Boozer

The Rapture is the "Blessed Hope" while the Second Coming is a Day to be greatly feared... Titus 2:13, "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;" (the Rapture)...Amos 5:18, "Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light." Isaiah 13:9, "Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it."

I do not believe the Rapture of the Church and the Second Coming to be the same event... We are getting closer every day to this great event...We must get ready and stay ready. Don't let anything get you off track! Many have already fallen away from the Truth...PRAY AND STUDY TO RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD OF TRUTH...

Unbelievers Will Not Be Ready!

Unbelievers will not be ready for the Rapture! The Bride of Christ, His Church, His Body will be looking for and anxiously awaiting the Bride Groom. This is the “catching away” the Bible refers to in 1 Thessalonians 4:17. We refer to this event as the Rapture of the saints! Hebrews 9:28, “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” Only those who are looking for Jesus will see Him at the Rapture. Therefore, we must be watching and waiting. Rev. 3:3, “Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.” Jesus was speaking to the Church at Sardis, the Body of Christ at Sardis. (read Rev. 3:1-6). His instruction is to be ready and watch!

Unbelievers will not be ready! Having had the opportunity to receive the truth and subsequently rejecting the truth, the unbeliever walks in darkness. This includes secular churches. I am talking about those groups and individuals who fail to embrace Biblical Truth. Those who generate their own carnal doctrine to appease their followers. The sad thing about these groups is that they provide a centralized government and structure for deception.

Paul describes the perilous times of the last days in a litany of ills in 2 Tim. 3:1-5. He especially addresses religious apostasy.  Give special attention to v5, “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” He is addressing those professing Christianity but describing them as resembling Christian service but without the spiritual dynamic of the Holy Ghost.

What is Paul's solution to Timothy's challenge? 2 Tim. 4:2, “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” If they turn away from the Truth, they are unbelievers. Unbelievers are without the discernment of the Word or the Spirit. Consequently, they will walk in carnality and will not be ready. They will not be able to discern the times. “...unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

Lord Write Your Words Upon My Heart! by Myra Boozer

Lord, write Your Words upon my heart today. As I sit under Your wonderful baby blue sky, I hear many sounds but the most prominent are the birds singing their songs of praise to You. The sun is shining thru the pines and the smell is so refreshing, pure and clean. I feel a slight yet gentle breeze blowing upon this fleshly body. My own heart's beginning to sing of Your great splendor as I delight myself in your peaceful beauty and rest.

The beauty of your handiwork is so enormous! To think that You would create such a place for mankind to live, to love, and enjoy is amazing to me. I feel so honored to have been allowed to experience life, enjoy family, and to know you as my Lord and Savior.

How can anyone not believe in You? How can they see the beauty and the mystery of life and not know there is a much higher power and that power is You. You are the Lord God Almighty! You express yourself in all I see, in all I experience, and all I plan to experience in the days ahead.

I cannot find words to express my feelings about Your exceedingly great mercy for mankind. I am many times overtaken with grief for this beautiful world and the souls that don't seem to discern Your Coming and the culmination of all things. How can they not see, how can they not believe, how can they continue to resist Your tugging on their hearts. They only need to think rationally for a few moments to understand Your love, Your power, and Your plan for mankind.

Your love is superior to any love known to man. It cannot be duplicated or cloned by mortals. It flows from Your Holy Throne, pure and undefiled. There is no one like You. Your power is beyond all our imagination. No one is capable of keeping the oceans in place, hanging the stars out to shine just at the right time, send the rain or make a rainbow. You are perfect in all of Your ways and Your Kingdom is never ending!

You Are Mighty, Oh God!

You are mighty Oh God in the midst of your people. Who can stand against Your beloved as You dwell among them? How Great and Mighty You are, Your Wonders ready to perform. Is anything too difficult for You? “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” Jeremiah 32:17. There is nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing that God can’t do. Put your faith and trust in Him today!

"Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit of God, when I survey the awesomeness of who you are, I stand in wonder of your person. You are the Creator of all things yet you are my Father. You are the Life and Sustainer of all things created yet you are my Life and more abundantly. You are my Way, my Truth and my Life. In you I live and move and have the entirety of my being. You are the power of Almighty God inhabited within the person of the Holy Spirit as witnessed in the book of Acts. Yet you are my Strength, my Power, my Comforter, my Teacher, my Paraclete. You are the Divine and Magnanimous Person who inhabits all of eternity yet you are my Friend, my Companion, my Heart and my Soul. There is no one like you!”

Psalm 46:1, “...God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.”

Jesus Is Always Near! by Myra Boozer

“When I walk by the wayside, He is along with me...Amid all my forgetfulness of Him, He never forgets me.” Thomas Chalmers

Oh the days that I look for Him, the days I think, where are you Lord? I cry out to him, please come and fill my longings and let me know you are here. I wish I could remember that He is always near and never leaves me, but trouble over takes me and my heart begins to break. Just for a moment my forgetfulness rises up and I too despair as Peter did over the stormy weather. Peter was walking on the water to Jesus! Wow, but the winds were overwhelming to his mind. He must have actually forgotten the miracle that was happening right under his feet.

Matthew 14:28-31, "And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come and when Peter was come down out of the ship he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. BUT when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying Lord, save me."

How many times is God making a way when there seems to be no way? But one puff of wind from the evil one blows us right off track. We must be like Peter and CRY out in our desperation, "LORD save me." We must never forget that He is ever near when the enemy starts howling and putting up a fight. We must have our mind centered on Jesus and remember that he never changes. Jesus Is Always Near! "For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5

Lord, Keep Us Safe Till The Storm Passes By!

Daniel 6:10, “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.”

The prophet Daniel was not so different from you and me. He lived in a time of displacement and captivity for his people. He struggled to remain at peace with his captors and remain true to the Lord God Jehovah. But, when he was forced to make a choice, he always chose God.

When Daniel knew that the decree was signed forbidding anyone to pray to any other god except King Darius, Daniel made an open show of his allegiance to God (Daniel 6:10). Daniel prayed as before! His prayer life was the foundation for his existence both present and future. When the enemy tested his love and loyalty to God, Daniel continued doing what he did every day. The die was cast and the pattern established. Therefore, Daniel held to his faith in God and God delivered him.

The substance of our life in Christ must be established before the storm comes! We must know that the foundation of our life is built upon Jesus Christ and all other ground is sinking sand. Therefore, when the trials of life test us, we continue doing what we have always done. We pray and trust God and He will deliver us once again!

God reveals Himself and our future in Him during these times of intense trial. It is during those times that we seek guidance and rely so heavily upon Him. He uses our faith and our dependence on Him to lead us into our future with Him! Lord, Keep Us Safe Till The Storm Passes By!”

Don't Be Double Minded! by Myra Boozer

James 1:5, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”

There is coming a day when the righteous will be separated from the unrighteous. Many hearts will be saddened because they thought they had accepted Christ. They thought He was with them but to discover they had not actually made room for him. You see, Jesus does not dwell in an unclean heart. He will not live among the unholy or vile. He is holy and when He comes into your life, the unholy has to leave. There is so much more to having an ongoing relationship with Jesus than just saying a prayer once upon a time.

When we really want God, when we invite Him to come and live in our hearts, our desires change. Life becomes about Him and not about us. Our motives change and we want to live to please Him and not ourselves. Our thinking is renewed and our old ways are no longer part of our everyday life. We don’t think about the same things as before and our speech changes. We don’t act the way we used to act or love the things we used to love. We are a brand new creature. The unclean and vile things that may have once been a part of our life become repulsive to us. We just don’t want that kind of life anymore. It is like a light bulb comes on and we see clearly that we are on the wrong path, going in the wrong direction, headed for destruction. Then we hear the voice of the Lord calling us to Himself. He so desires to lead and direct us on the path of righteousness, the path that leads to Everlasting Life. We realize the ONLY way to PEACE is through accepting Jesus! The only way to HEAVEN is by following JESUS!

Don't be double-minded, claiming God and living in sin. It is a deception, actually a lie from the pit of hell. There are only two choices, heaven or hell, Holy or unholy. I think most of us know the difference. No, we cannot make ourselves holy but we can surrender under the mighty hand of God and allow Him to wash us clean.

One day in the near future we will be so glad we came clean and cast off the sin that has tried desperately to live in our hearts. Asking God to forgive us is just part of the plan. Only you can choose to lay it all down, take up your cross and follow Jesus. No one can do it for you. It takes a real revelation of what is going on in your life. You must see yourself lost, forever doomed, and on your way to a devil’s hell. Then you must see JESUS with his arms stretched wide open and nailed to that cross, for YOU. You must realize that Jesus had a choice to be obedient to His Father, to go to the cross, or NOT. No one was making him do what he did! He chose to suffer the agony of the cross and die for YOU, yes YOU! He is calling and He is waiting for you to surrender your life to HIM...no longer lost, no longer guilty, no longer doomed...but cleared of all charges, ACCEPTED and REDEEMED by the precious blood of JESUS...

Make Room For Jesus!

Luke 2:7, “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.”

Today, we stand at the door of a grand endeavor. That is to prepare for the appearance of the Son of God, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. Our challenge is to make ready for His return, to be united with the bridegroom. The external forces in our world are pressing in upon the boundaries of holiness and righteousness so firmly established in God's Holy Word. The ideals of a carnal theology have infiltrated the pulpit and diluted the faith that was once delivered to the saints. But the Holy Spirit is the sustaining force within. He will lead and guide us into the Truth of His Word.

There are many voices claiming to speak for God. Although God uses human vessels to share His message, we must know God in an intimate and personal kinship so He can speak directly to us. The Holy Spirit and the Word will teach us the Truth. The Holy Ghost will help us to understand the events we are seeing take place in our world today. When we read God's warnings in His Word and see the events around us aligning with the Word, we must conclude that we are living in the End Times.

Are we really expecting Jesus, our Messiah to return to deliver us? The world was not expecting Him when He came the first time and they missed His gift of Salvation. Don’t let that happen to you! Make Room For Jesus!

Heb. 9:28, "...unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."

Are You Drifting? by Myra Boozer

Have you noticed how we drift into different ways of living? For example, some people just take life so slow and easy and don't really want to go anywhere, happy where they are. While others are always in the fast lane with places to go and people to see. They are so busy having fun and accommodating their latest find of food or entertainment, they almost live in a whirlwind.

D. A. Carson said, "People DO NOT DRIFT toward holiness...Apart from grace-driven effort, people DO NOT gravitate toward godliness, prayer, obedience to Scripture, faith, and delight in the Lord...We drift toward compromise and call it tolerance: We drift toward disobedience and call it freedom: We drift toward superstition and call it Faith. We cherish the indiscipline of lost self-control and call it relaxation. We slouch toward prayerlessness and delude ourselves into thinking we have escaped legalism. We slide toward godlessness and convince ourselves we have been liberated..."

Age makes a difference in our pursuit of life and what it offers but I believe we have drifted until many don't know how to find God. Start where you are and surrender ALL to Him. Then, we must pursue HIM until He catches us, captivates, and changes us into His image...no longer trapped by worldly attractions and sounds...no longer drifting on the sea of time... But looking unto our Blessed Hope, who is coming to rescue us from this world and its alluring deceptive ways. Are You Drifting?

(A ship that loses its propulsion capability flounders helplessly and is at the mercy of the winds and waves. Without the spiritual dynamic of Holy Ghost power, we will flounder helplessly at the mercy of the winds and waves of life)

Thy Will Be Done In Earth As In Heaven! Conclusion

Matt. 28:18, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Christ has given the ministry of bringing in the Harvest to the Church. The Holy Spirit within us will equip and empower us to rise to the challenge in the midst of darkness and evil. The light shines brighter the greater the darkness. We have already entered into an extended time of sensual depravity and spiritual hypocrisy. The Body of Christ has an enormous task to reach the lost in the face of great opposition. The affront to the Gospel is growing stronger every day. The mere mention of the name of Jesus will ensure persecution. But God is greater!

“Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world...” 1 John 4:4. God will use the Church to do great things in the name of Jesus. That is why Satan fights so hard against the message of Jesus. There is power in that name (Jesus)! Christ will reveal His power, His grace, and His glory through us as we submit to His leadership. “He will use the trying times ahead to discipline and train us. Do not resist. Do not question the Lord's WAY. Yield to Him and allow Him to do His work in you even during all this shaking as the Bride makes herself ready.” God has a plan. He will protect His Church and preserve His people. Blessed be the name of the Lord! Thy Will Be Done In Earth As In Heaven!

Thy Kingdom Come! by Myra Boozer

Mark 1:15 “...The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

I would love to feed all the hungry...wrap my arms around the broken and mend them. I would love to wipe the tears from all the lonely and crushed...mend the bruised and battered...release those who are in bondage by the enemy...set the captives free...hold all the babies that are unwanted...care for all the elderly who are forsaken...heal every sickness and diseased person on the face of the earth...stop every evil and depraved thought that enters the mind of the youth...I would guard them against all evil. I would mend every marriage and bring every family into unity with God...strengthen every person who shares the Word of God and give them HOPE of many souls being saved, delivered, and set free. I would love to do all this! I am limited but JESUS is NOT! I can share JESUS and He can do this for all who will REPENT and BELIEVE!

I WOULD SHUT THE MOUTH OF THE LIONS THAT ARE TRYING TO DEVOUR ALL WHO ARE GOOD AND RIGHTEOUS...I WOULD STOP ALL THE LIES AND CORRUPTION OF THE EVIL AND EGOTISTIC WHO ARE HUNGRY FOR STATUS IN THIS WORLD...I WOULD BIND EVERY EVIL SPIRIT THAT RAISES ITS UGLY HEAD AGAINST HUMANITY...I WOULD SHUT DOWN ALL THE PLACES THAT OFFER ENTICEMENT TO THOSE WHO ARE WEAK AND UNSTABLE...I WOULD STOP MURDER, HATE, AND EVERY ABOMINATION...I WOULD STOP ALL FALSE TEACHINGS AND DOCTRINES OF DEVILS...I WOULD BRING ABOUT A NEW WORLD WHERE THE LAMB WILL LAY DOWN WITH THE LION...I AM LIMITED! BUT, JESUS IS NOT! JESUS WILL DO ALL THIS WHEN HE COMES RIDING ON HIS WHITE HORSE WITH FIRE IN HIS EYES, WEARING MANY CROWNS...HIS NAME IS CALLED THE WORD OF GOD...HE SHALL RULE WITH A ROD OF IRON. HE WILL PUT EVERYTHING IN ITS PROPER PLACE...We are getting closer and closer to that DAY! Lord Jesus, Thy Kingdom Come!

Thy Will Be Done In Earth As In Heaven!

Matthew 6:10-13, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven...thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever...”

The followers of Jesus expected Him to set up a literal ruling government at which time He would rule from the throne of David in Jerusalem. As we know, that has yet to happen! Christ pointed to a yet future time when that will actually take place and His will is accomplished in earth as in heaven.

Paul wrote to the Church at Corinth reminding them that “...the fashion of this world passeth away,” 1 Cor. 7:31. He was speaking concerning temporal attachments and being held captive by them. Though they may be good in themselves we are not to be constrained by them. We need to be free from any and all encumbrances that would restrain us from hearing and being obedient to the voice of Christ. Let us always follow the Lord Jesus closely, not to be guilty of following afar off. Our conformity to Him will be our sustaining power when all else has failed. The outward form of this world and everything in it will pass away.

Heb. 12:26, “...Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” The words “Yet once more,” point to the final change which will initiate the removal of all that can pass away. The removing of created things that the things not shaken can remain...that is the Kingdom in us, not anything of material creation. It is to that end that Christ is preparing His Covenanted people for His return and when He will literally establish His Kingdom in the earth. Thy Will Be Done In Earth As In Heaven! (continued)

A Sunday Morning Prayer! by Myra Boozer

Lord, may we cast off any and all distractions that keep us from focusing on You. Those things that devour our time, leaving us tattered and worn, even frazzled in our thinking. The things that pull us down into despair. May we discard them for today as you draw us into Your domain.

May we turn our thoughts to resting in YOU and your precious mercy, that You so graciously extend by Your right hand. May we sit in Your presence and be renewed, refreshed and revived. May we feel the touch of Angel wings upon our faces as we measure the depth of Your unfailing love.

May we feel your gentle hand upon our cheek as you dry our tears. Yes, Lord may we cast aside all that is pulling and draining our very soul. May we know without a doubt that you are taking care of every worry and every heartbreak, as we climb up in you lap and lay our head on Your big shoulder. You are our Loving Father! May we never grow so wise in our thinking that we fail to remember we are a child, Your Child! We are Yours, Lord! May we never forget Your great Love for us!

The Day Is Far Spent!

Luke 24:28, “And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further. 29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.”

Jesus would have continued on His journey except that His disciples constrained (to cause a person to give in to pressure) Him to “abide with us.” Jesus’ disciples compelled Him to stay with them. As I read these words, I am drawn to the idea that they compelled Jesus to abide with them. The day was gone and twilight was coming on. The end of the day had come signaling the end of the day’s work.

We will soon come to the end of our day and the end of our work. The day is almost gone and twilight is coming on. What we do for Christ we must do it quickly. We must use the precious time He is giving us to finish His work. Jesus said of Himself in John 9:4, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” The night is upon us and no one will work. The time for work will be over. Nothing can distract or detour us from the mission Christ has given us. Complete TRUST in the leading of the Holy Spirit is essential to our victory and salvation for all who will hear this message! The Day Is Far Spent!

Change My Heart, Oh God! by Myra Boozer

I love this song..."Change my Heart oh God, make it ever new. Change my heart oh God, make it more like you." It is also a great prayer. Isn't His Grace Amazing? To think that He would forgive all our sins and cast them far, far away in a sea to never be remembered. Just makes me cry when I think how my mother taught me many years ago about the love of Jesus. This love also takes away our chains, the things that seem to hold us captive and make us a prisoner. His love says NO MORE BONDAGE! His love is unending and still so amazing after all these years. I trust Him to take me on the rest of my days, however long they may be.

My mother also taught me how to cook, sew, clean house, take care of babies, and much more. However, the best things she ever taught me was that Jesus loves me and died on the cross for my sins. She taught me to love others as myself, to be forgiving, and to pray about everything. She taught me by example, which is the most profitable way to teach.

I must share this news with your today. Jesus loves YOU and died for YOU. You too can be set free from all the struggle, from all the guilt and shame, the chains that bind, the things that pull you down and make your life miserable. They can vanish in a moment's time when you humble yourself and allow God to raise you up in His Holiness because He is Holy, Righteous, and Pure.

He wants to hold you in His great big arms today and make everything new. JESUS LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER KNOW. Put your trust in Him. He is your deliverer and He will fight your battles. You don't have to struggle any longer or carry the guilt of sin. Just surrender to the one who created you, loves you, and died for you. He wants to give you life everlasting and peace for the journey until that Day. His love is so Amazing, so rich and free. He is so full of compassion and great mercy. When all around you is crumbling and falling away, Jesus will not fail you. He is your steady ROCK, your firm FOUNDATION and soon Coming King!

Jesus' Love Pulls Back The Veil That Separates Us From God!

I began this day as I do every day in the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. I see that His love abounds everywhere even in the areas of our world that appear to be dominated by sin. But, Jesus’ love is there! A love that transcends all obstacles, and penetrates into the most remote and isolated crevices of life. Every area of human existence is held in the shelter of His hand.

Your needs and my needs are laid bare before Him. He knows where we are, what we feel, and what we dream. He sees each despairing thought and feels the anguish that we feel. He identifies with every human experience and emotion that has and will touch our lives. He left His throne in glory, and took upon Himself the form of human flesh so He can tell you today, “I have been where you are and I feel what you feel.” He experienced the human condition in the fullest sense yet without sin. Heb. 4:15, “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

He is saying to the whole human race, “I understand. I have made a way out. Believe on me as the scripture has said and be free.” You may feel trapped in a place you don't want to be. Give it all to Jesus! He has made a way of escape for you. Trust Him! He knows the way. He is the WAY! Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Look to Him and live!

Put Your Trust In Jesus! by Myra Boozer

In light of what is going on in our world today, I want to offer this prayer.

“I pray we give our attention to God more than ever and stand with Him and His Holy Word...I pray we give time to those around us as though they are family and depending on us...I pray for strength and encouragement to come just at our time of need...I pray for love to send forth its power to bring in the lonely and the hurting from the cold that has settled on our world...I pray for truth to invade our lives as a strong and mighty wind stirring in our souls...I pray for unity to prevail in the hearts of all believers so that the world might see and know that God is alive and working among us...I pray for peace to surround us like a strong light coming from the throne room of God...I pray for joy, the kind that is deep rooted and cannot be shaken by the howling of the enemy...I pray for eyes to see the beauty that is in everything we hold...I pray for ears to hear the whispers of our babies as they pull on our heart strings and long to be close to us...I pray for guidance from above as we travel the road we have never traveled before...It is all new and our hearts are excited but our minds question what lies ahead for each and every one of us...Trust in Him who will not leave you...Put Your Trust In Jesus!”

God Knows The Way We Should Take!

Job 23:10, “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. 11 My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. 12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.”

As I observe the behavior of the world around me, I must conclude there seems to be a mad dash of lost humanity into their eternal destiny without regard for the preservation of their eternal souls. Life is precious and a gift from God. No one has the right to take away that gift!

We are living in an era when a majority of people support the killing of innocent children in the womb and then are horrified when someone takes a gun to school and massacres those innocent lives. Our world has created an atmosphere in which a reverence for life has been greatly diminished for some and for others it is destroyed altogether. The weight is heavy upon us to sound the alarm and awaken lost humanity to the consequences of our apathy in this arena of life. We cannot attach value to life in one instance while devaluing life in another! We are reaping the result of our inconsistencies.

It is time to take a stand! As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must proclaim the call of God to come back to the principles of His Word. The path before us is unknown, however, the way ahead is not uncharted territory. We have never been this way before, but we can proceed with full assurance that God knows where we are going. God has something to say and a work to perform in this generation! If we have covenanted to walk with Him, we are going where He is going. God has gone before us and created our map in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Way! John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” If we follow Him, He will lead us in His path. He knows the way we should take!

There is no need to flounder in a climate of indecision when the answer is with us. Let us not be deterred by the uncertainties that lie before us but concern ourselves with the cause of Jesus Christ. He loves each and every person and has placed great value on each soul by giving His own life to bring life to the lifeless. We may not know the specifics of our future but we can be sure that if our faith is in the saving grace of the cross, we will finish well! God Knows The Way We Should Take!

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” Revelation 22:13

It's Time To Come Home!

In the book of Luke, chapter 15, a certain man had two sons. The youngest of them decided he wanted to go out and make his mark in the world. So he took his portion of his father’s goods and went away into a far country. There he wasted his inheritance in riotous living. “And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want,” Luke 15:14. He found himself living with pigs and no one would help him. However, it was while he suffered in those deplorable conditions that his sense of home returned to him. Luke 15:17, “And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father.”

In that terrible place and demeaning position he began to think about home and the pleasant memories of serving in his father's house. He came to his right senses saying, “I will arise and go to my father...” v17. His sense of guilt and remorse brought him to a state of repentance making him willing to be a servant in his father's house. He left his deplorable life and returned to his father. His father received him with open arms declaring, “...my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry,” v.24.

It’s Time To Come Home! It doesn’t matter where you are or how deplorable your life is. Your Heavenly Father wants you to know He loves you and stands waiting with His arms open, ready to welcome you home. Come on home son or daughter! Your provision is in Your Father’s house!

John 6:35, “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”

Where Are You? by Myra Boozer

Many times during the day when our little grandson is here, we hear the words, “Where are you Papa?” Or, “Where are you Nana?” This is an important question to a young child. When this question is asked, we don't hesitate. We respond quickly!

I want to ask you that question today. Where are you? You may say I am at home, or I am on the job. Maybe you are in school or in the Military. You could even be on vacation, seeing the many beautiful sights in our world. This is what we think of when the question is asked. We respond as to where we are physically.

In Genesis 3, God asks Adam that question, "And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?" This is the response that Adam gave, "And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?" The answer Adam gives has stuck with us down thru the ages. "And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, SHE gave me of the tree, and I did eat." It is the transfer of accountability to someone other than ourselves. We have a very hard time accepting responsibility for our actions. So, we blame someone else for where we actually are in our lives.

I truly understand about disappointment, heartbreak, broken homes, verbal abuse, lack of security and unworthy condemnation. But with all of that, we are still responsible for our reaction to life and all it brings. We alone are responsible for the choices we make. Adam could have answered, “NO” to Eve. He could have reminded her of the command that God gave them about not eating of that one tree. Only one tree was forbidden. Of course in the next verse, God asked Eve, "What is this thou has done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I DID eat."

I do not read any more of God communing with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day. However, I did read that "...God sent them forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken, So he drove out the man;" Genesis chapter 3. There are definitely consequences to all our decisions!

My question is Where Are You? Are you living in the garden with constant communion and fellowship with the LORD your God? Or, do you feel you're across the tracks just struggling on your own? Are you in a place of no hope, no relief from the push and shove of this sinful world? Are you always feeling blame or giving blame to someone you love because of the pressure that is increasing in your life? Are you living a life of defeat in the midst of constant confusion as to the choices your making? Do you stumble at the simple things in life because you don't know the direction to take? Are you feeling helpless and hopeless with every decision you need to make for your very survival? Where Are You?

Some may feel they are making it just fine. Jesus said in Revelation 3:17, "Because thou sayest, I am rich and increased with goods and need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked" The good news is found in the fact that SOMEONE has the answer. Someone knows just where you are and He can rescue you. He can pull you out of the darkness, the confusion, the helpless situation. You don't have to remain where you are. The choice is yours and yours alone. No one can make you look up! Or reach up! Or call out to God but YOU!

When the loud, wailing, sound of disaster strikes, even those who have pushed God aside, those who have tried to hide their "nakedness" from him, will cry out. Come and save me, Jesus! He knows just where you are and will come immediately. He will cover your nakedness with His robe of righteousness. Where Are You?

What Are Your Priorities?

Matthew 6:19, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

If you were to make a list of what is most important to you, what would that list look like? What is the driving force for your goals and accomplishments? It is very important that we can answer this question clearly and precisely. Our future and the future of those we influence is depending upon our response.

It is expedient that our focus is on the important things in life. At this late hour, we cannot afford to be distracted by minor issues. “Keep the main thing, the main thing.” The attention, time, and effort we invest will impact greatly the result we experience.

In Romans 14, Paul wrote to address the significance of the church’s relationship with God as opposed to the external issues. Matters of the heart will rule the day, therefore, we must keep our hearts right with God! The Roman church had failed to keep their relationship with God as the main thing. Subsequently, external matters became divisive in their attempt to serve God as a church. Romans 14:17, “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. 18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God...” God’s kingdom is the main thing and is not centered on external matters. The visible testimony of the Church will be pleasing to God only if we are in right relationship with Him.

Matthew 7:21, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

We make mistakes and experience unnecessary heartaches when our priorities are not in sync with God’s will and purpose for our lives. God should always come first. Our relationship with God takes priority over everyone and everything. It is the foundation for everything else! Our relationship will directly affect our obedience to God’s direction in our lives. Our obedience is essential for our deliverance and ultimate victory! What Are Your Priorities?

Matthew 7:24, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.”

Satan Will Oppose You! by Myra Boozer

Isaiah 54:17, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”

“Opposition to lives which are yielded to Jesus Christ takes many forms, some dramatic, some subtle. Satan is a clever angel of light but sometimes he chooses supernatural ways to frighten us into inactivity. During a time at camp with the girls, I was singing outside of the cabin after lights out. The song had the words: ‘Don't be afraid for whatever is coming, your heavenly Father takes care of you.’ Suddenly I heard horrible noises around me. It seemed as if among the trees some sort of beings were trying to make me stop. The noises grew and subsided, sending shivers through my body with their weird tones. While I sang, I pleaded with the Lord: ‘Cover me and protect me with Your blood, Lord Jesus...give me strength to go on singing and speak through me to reach all these girls.’ The noises remained and got louder and more ugly, but I didn't stop. I knew that I stood on the front line of battle but through Jesus, it was victory ground, not defeat or retreat. As soon as I finished the song, the noise stopped, just as abruptly as it began. I went to bed and thanked the Lord for His victory. The next morning I asked the girls if they had heard anything unusual the previous night. They answered that they had never heard me sing so beautifully. Nobody heard anything else.” This is taken from Corrie ten Boom's book IN MY FATHERS HOUSE...

My question is what is trying to stop you today? Don't let the troubles, trials, or tribulations of this life or anything that Satan would throw in your path stop you from singing the Praises of our Lord. Sing loud and with all your might! Don't give up, we are almost HOME.

Jesus said in this life we would have these troubles but to not be alarmed because He overcame and so will we through His power that works in us. As we get closer to the return of the Lord the noise will become louder and louder from the opposition. It is time to arise and stand in the face of the enemy. The world's tactics (or armor) will not fit the Christian. Just like Saul's armor did not fit David, the shepherd boy. It will take the leading, the direction, and the power of the Holy Spirit to defeat the enemy of our day just like it did in David's day.

We must remember these words as we go out to defeat our giants...”No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD,” Isaiah 54:17. NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER...I GO IN THE NAME OF THE LORD GOD JEHOVAH…

No More Fear!

Luke 24:21, “But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.”

The disciples were dejected and depressed because they had believed that Jesus was the one to “have redeemed” Israel but this “is the third day since these things were done.”  I think it is noteworthy that this conversation took place on the third day. Jesus had taught them that He would go to Jerusalem and there He would die. But, He also taught them that He would be raised on the third day. Jesus had revealed the plan of God to them. However, they were so consumed with His death that Satan had stolen the most important part, the promise of His resurrection. This was the day of their salvation, their redemption, and their victory but they just could not see it!

These disciples were going through all the emotions of losing someone close to their hearts. The first emotion was denial, the absolute disbelief that this could be happening to them. All the signs appeared to point to Jesus as the Messiah. How could they have been so wrong about Him? They were experiencing the intrusion of a life-altering doubt, a crippling doubt that would cause them to question all the things previously discerned to have been settled. How could they ever trust their emotions and discernment after suffering such a debilitating loss? They had dared to love and trust so deeply that their lives were forever changed by this experience. God's plan was proceeding on schedule just as Jesus had prophesied. It just wasn't time for their resurrection revelation.

How often do we find ourselves in the position of denial and question, “Why are these harsh circumstances developing around us?” We are susceptible to crying out in absolute disbelief, “I can't believe this is happening to me!” This position makes us vulnerable and opens the door for Satan to rush in and steal our faith. In extreme cases, just like the disciples, our soul can be seized with such life-altering doubt our Christian service is totally paralyzed and we cannot proceed further. At that moment, we should run to God and fall upon our faces in prayer! If we will seek His face in submission, He will throw off the chains of dejection and depression as we heed the burning desire of the Holy Spirit that lives within us. We are never alone. Heb. 13:5, “...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

We can easily get caught up in the climate and events of this present day. Like these disciples, we make question why all the negative stuff appears to be happening to us. But Jesus said it would be this way in the last days of time and that He would return to catch His Church away and redeem His people Israel. We must be careful that we are not so consumed with our current distress that we allow Satan to steal away the promise of our redemption and the Second Coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

We can place our total confidence in the promises the Lord has given us. He will never fail us! What He has promised, He will fulfill so there is No Need To Fear!

The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness! by Myra Boozer

I love the mornings when I open my blinds and the sun comes pouring in. It just makes my day and I rejoice in the warmth of God's love to all mankind. It is not only warm, it is beautiful and makes all things beautiful. Sometimes the clutter in my room doesn't look so challenging.

“Lord may we open the blinds of our hearts and allow you to SHINE in our world. Darkness has hovered for a night and the cries for help are getting louder. The lonely, the sick, the forsaken, and forgotten cry out against the pit that has them bound. The prisoners held by sin cry out for freedom...Freedom to be forgiven, loved, and restored!

Who will open the blinds Lord and reveal the rays of Hope, the Light of Jesus that dispels the darkness? Who will ARISE and open the blinds, the shield that covers our windows? Lord we are given the opportunity NOW in this season to be that person to allow YOUR LIGHT to come forth. It will come with a sudden burst of great force when we allow your Spirit to direct and strengthen us. I know only the strong will do this. Help us to be STRONG IN THE POWER OF YOUR MIGHT as we ARISE like a Warrior with the Helmet of Salvation, the Shield of Faith, and the Sword of the Spirit.

Help us Lord to equip ourselves with your Armor for the challenge before us...Our world is in great need of your LIGHT, the Light that dispels all darkness. Help us to be your hands reaching the lost and your feet to carry the "GOOD NEWS”...our mouth to speak Your Word which is Truth...that it will set the captive free, heal the sick and bind up the brokenhearted...Lord Jesus help us, your Children, to Arise at your command...Amen!” The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness!

The Light Of Your Presence!

Lord Jesus, thank you for the dawn of a new day. Now, it is time to turn to the task at hand. What do you have for your children today? What do you have that we should share with others? Lord, fill us with your WORD so that the overflow is charged with redemption and deliverance. Oh! Come Holy Spirit of God and inhabit every thought, word, and activity. Sanctify us afresh as the place of YOUR habitation. Purge from the very air around us the darkness that infiltrates our world and replace it with the light of YOUR PRESENCE. We feel the intensity of the battle. The Holy Spirit within continues to struggle with the arm of the flesh, for he is ever-present. Lord Jesus Christ, help us to die once again that YOU may bring LIFE and more abundantly. Help us to say with Paul the apostle that it is not me that possesses this mortal body but it is YOU that lives here.

Your reign in our life will affect the world around us for YOUR PURPOSE. We invite you to rule the environment around us. “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Come Lord, take control, lead us to the completion of our assignment here. We must share YOUR message with all men. All must have the privilege to escape the darkness. Send forth YOUR light through the WORD of your mouth, penetrate and dispel the gross darkness that has invaded our land. Release YOUR Holy Spirit fire to burn away the obstructions that hold fast the lost souls of men. Set the Body of Christ ablaze that we burn so intensely that conviction and repentance are the results. May the light of your glory be reflected in our faces, in our walk, and in our message. All to the HONOR and PURPOSE of God. Even so, come Lord Jesus! Amen

Need Confidence? by Myra Boozer

If you are in need of confidence (trust, reliance, assurance), turn your eyes to the Lord Jesus. That is where our help comes from. There is no greater power or greater force than God. Yes, God uses man sometimes to take care of the things that we may need. But, for the one who created this whole universe and hung it in space, He really doesn't need anyone to help Him, but He allows us to be part of His great plan.

Put your trust in Him and your confidence will rise knowing this. Psalms 40:11, "Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD, let thy loving kindness and thy truth continually preserve me." It is He who gives us life and all that we need ONE DAY AT A TIME. “For in thee O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God,” Psalm 38:15.

When we truly BELIEVE then we will be filled with confidence, not in ourselves, but in God. "Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies," Psalm 40:4.

My God Is Awesome!

Selah.”

He Shall Preserve Thy Soul! by Myra Boozer

"The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul" Psalms 121:7

In his writings, David spoke so often of knowing where his help came from. He knew where to look and in whom to put his trust. He knew who his keeper was. His life sustainer was the Lord God Jehovah! Do you know that today? Are you settled in that very important fact?

Psalm 146:2, “While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. 3Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help...5Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: 6Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:” This chapter goes on to tell us what the Lord will do for the oppressed, the hungry, the prisoners, the blind, those bowed down, the strangers, the fatherless, and the widow. These promises are very positive. But then he says in v9, "...But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down."  That is a promise also, but it is NOT good! We have the promise that the LORD preserves all them that LOVE Him but the wicked He will destroy.

My HOPE today is in the Lord our maker. My HOPE is not in a man or a political system. My HOPE is in the promises of THE BOOK...God's Holy Word. "The Name of the LORD is a strong tower, the righteous runneth into it and is safe," Proverbs 18:10.

When you run to the Lord for His forgiveness and for His protection, STAY THERE. Don't run in and out thinking you can be saved or safe when you keep playing with the world, getting into all kinds of sin. There is much false doctrine and many are falling for untruth because it sounds good but it is not TRUTH.

There is only one way and that is by the blood of JESUS. Don't trample HIS blood by playing with the world and falling for the doctrines of devils. IF GOD SAYS IN HIS WORD THAT IT IS WRONG, IT IS WRONG AND NO ONE CAN CHANGE THAT.

God is a jealous God! He doesn't accept a half-time relationship. He wants all of our hearts. Stay with God, live close to HIM, and PRAY. “The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He Shall Preserve Thy Soul.”

The Sure Path!

Proverbs 2:1, “My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; 2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; 3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; 4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; 5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.”

The poor receive the good news in the Gospel!

The brokenhearted are healed in the Gospel!

The captives are delivered in the Gospel!

The blind receive their sight in the Gospel!

The bruised are given liberty in the Gospel!

The burdened and battered are set free in the Gospel!

Thanks be to the God of our salvation who gives us victory through the shed blood of Jesus Christ! There is no mountain too high, no valley too wide that the blood of Jesus cannot transcend and make all things right. All it takes is a broken and contrite heart willing to turn ourselves and all our baggage over to God.

Seek the Lord while He may be found. Isaiah 55:6, “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:” 2 Cor. 6:2, “...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” The Message Bible states it this way, “Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped.” Follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ! It is The Sure Path!
