Time To Look Up! by Myra Boozer

Just thinking how Satan works to paint a picture of horrible, no-win situations in the lives of those who may be going thru a dry valley. A place where you are thirsty for a drink of spiritual waters, a place where you seem to be all alone and no one seems to have time to give you an encouraging word...a time when the wall just won't come down and the Lord seems to withhold the ladder for you to climb over and then with everything else, it's time to pay those bills and the money is low...the tears seem to flow and the heartbreaks. But, you find that the Lord is standing in front of you holding out His hands to you...wanting to lift you from the valley and set you on the mountain of Hope where the sun is shining and the birds are singing the song of deliverance.

It is up to you, after you pour out your heart and rid your self of all the doubt and the fear, reach up to the One who can change that picture and give you the best drink of water you have ever had. Tear down those walls and open those doors that have been closed. This is for you if you are looking down instead of looking up. God loves you...love Him back and watch things began to change. Time To Look Up!

The Beginning Of Sorrows! Conclusion

God has already begun to pour out His judgment upon this world and the birthing pains have begun. In light of these scriptures in Matthew and Mark, we must conclude that the Holy Spirit is connecting the “the beginning of sorrows” to the birthing process. The term “beginning of sorrows” is associated with childbirth and literally means the beginning of travail pangs. We can conclude that the judgment we are seeing and will see in the immediate future is a prelude to the culmination of the birthing process. This birth will bring forth a new Israel reborn, a new kingdom (the implementation of the literal Kingdom of God), and a new world (new heaven and earth).

Let us understand that God will preserve His Church, the Bride of Christ through all the unrest and destruction coming upon our world. He will equip and empower His Church to rise up in His Name and do great things even in the midst of darkness and evil. He will preserve the Church until she has completed her mission in the earth and then He will rapture her away.

In both Matthew and Mark’s writing, the “beginning of sorrows” described by Jesus is the beginning of something much worse which is yet to come.

Mark 13:19, “For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. 20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.”

Matt. 24:21, “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”

The “beginning of sorrows” is the beginning of the birthing process which will culminate in the rebirth or restoration of Israel to a living relationship with God through their Messiah, Jesus Christ. But before they repent and return to God, Jesus says in the book of Matthew that “then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” This “great tribulation” will bring forth a new Israel reborn. The Lord will shorten this time of affliction for the elect’s (Israel) sake. Jesus will return at the second Advent defeating the Antichrist and his world system of government and religion. Jesus will establish a new kingdom in the earth (the implementation of the literal Kingdom of God) and a new world (new heaven and earth).

The birthing process has already begun and deliverance is at hand. The tribulation now and the Great Tribulation to come are but a prelude to the culmination of all things. Oh happy day for the child of God! Oh, the sorrow of those that neglect His call!

Matt. 24:42, “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

The Last Days! by Myra Boozer

"This know also, that in the last days perilous (uncertain)times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous (desire, envy) boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent (without self-restraint especially in sexual activity) fierce (furious, enraged, vehement, cruel, insane, hellish) despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady,(intoxicating) highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers(various) lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was," 2 Timothy 3:1-9 KJV.

These are not my words but the words of God through His servant Timothy. The next chapter tells us "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the TRUTH, and shall be turned unto fables (a fictitious story, a falsehood),” 2 Timothy 4:3-4.

We are living in the last days! We are to preach the Word and remember these words, "And the LORD shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen," 2 Timothy 4:18.

The Beginning Of Sorrows!

Mark 13:5, “And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 7And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. 8For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.”

First, we must look at the context of these verses in relation to their immediate application. Christ was alluding to the immediate future when many of these circumstances would occur but also alluding to events that would occur at the end of the age. We can conclude that these scriptures were partially fulfilled when the Romans destroyed the Temple and Jerusalem in AD 70. The Jews were scattered to every corner of the world and only began to return to their homeland in 1948. Since that time, God has been bringing them home.

The tribulations and calamities which preceded and accompanied the overthrow of Israel at that time are a sign and warning of the great and universal woes which will bring in the Great Day of the Lord and the Judgment of God. The reference alludes to the beginning of something much worse which is yet to come.

Ellicott's Commentary states that the words, “the beginning of sorrows” mean strictly, the beginning of travail pangs. Paul speaks of the whole creation as travailing in pain together. So a time of national suffering and perplexity is one in which the children come to birth. Romans 8:22, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.” The whole of creation is groaning in travail for the birth of a New Day. A day when sin and its destructive results will no longer affect God’s Kingdom, a kingdom in which the Son of Righteousness will reign for eternity. The lion will lie down with the lamb and the Glory of God will once again permeate all of God’s Creation! (continued)

Truth Will Prevail! by Myra Boozer

I want to hear YOU Lord! I want to listen to Your Word and also hear Your voice! The winds are blowing up a storm and I see on the horizon a new dilemma, a time of trouble, a time of emergency for those who are not aware, for those not prepared, for those who are busy and overtaken by their own plans and desires.

What do we do? They have ears to hear but do not hear, and eyes to see, but do not see. They are getting angry with those speaking about your Return. They are not interested in our words! They have Big Plans to stay! Sometimes I feel I am pulling back, I don't want to do that. I pray that you will give me Your words.

(This is the answer God gave!)

"Truth will PREVAIL...
Truth will stand STRONG, in the evil and corrupt day...
It will be VICTORIOUS...
It will SING LOUD AND STRONG...
It will TRIUMPH...
No enemy is able to stand AGAINST Truth...
The WORD is TRUTH...
The WORD is GOD...
I am the BEGINNING and the END...
I have NO other PLAN...
I will SURVIVE!
Those who want to be on the winning side must come along with the PLAN I have laid down...NO other plan, No other way!
FORSAKE all and FOLLOW ME.
BE INSTANT IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON...
CLOTHE yourself in RIGHTEOUSNESS...
RIGHT LIVING and BELIEVING will be the TICKET for the SURVIVAL of MY BODY...
NO ONE can come to me except they come MY WAY...
I AM THE WAY...
TRUTH will PREVAIL...and the SON will shine after the STORM...
LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING, but LEAN ON ME, FOR I AM THE STRONG AND MIGHTY ONE...
I AM HE THAT KEEPETH ISRAEL...I DO NOT SLEEP AND I AM NOT SLACK CONCERNING MY PROMISES TO YOU AND ALL WHO LOVE ME...
SEEK ME DAILY with all of your SOUL, MIND AND STRENGTH...

TRUST ME! STAY CLOSE AND BELIEVE THAT I AM HE WHO IS FROM THE BEGINNING...I AM MIGHTY TO RESCUE AND SAVE ALL WHO CALL ON ME…"

The Power Of God's Presence? Embrace God's Truth!

Jeremiah 2:8, “The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.”

The power of God’s presence requires embracing God’s truth! That is the reason Judah was not experiencing God’s favor during this time. The priests, pastors, and prophets lead the way for Judah into apostasy. Through the words of Jeremiah, God was revealing a pathway to victory. But there is only one way to secure God’s favor. Judah must acknowledge their defiance of God’s law and return to God in repentance and submission. Through the prophet, God was pleading with Judah to return to Him and to His Favor.

I suppose that every Christian would say that they desire the favor of God in their life. But, are we willing to embrace the truth of God’s Word and submit our lives to its standard? What is the parallel with our text for today?

A congregation will not rise above their leader! Then, it becomes the responsibility of those leaders to represent God’s Truth in word and deed. Godly leaders will lift up God’s standard which is God’s Truth. True leaders are co-workers with the Lord Jesus Christ through the abiding presence of the Holy Ghost. God said that He would lift up His standard when the enemy comes in an overwhelming force. “So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19

We are now experiencing the onslaught of dark forces released from the Satanic abyss. The enemy is angry that the Church of Jesus Christ would dare to rise up and oppose him. But now is the time for that very thing.

Every pastor, leader, and congregation has been pressed by the will of a carnal society to accept the unfruitful works of darkness. Paul instructed the Church at Ephesus to have no fellowship with darkness because we are children of Light. Ephesians 5:9, “(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.” This external influence has pressed into the churches creating internal conflict. The pressure of inclusion and compromise has led to a deviation from God’s Truth by some.

However, God has a standard for us to embrace, accept and model if we are to name the name of Christ. God’s standard is Holiness. God requires repentance and a turning away from sin to the holiness of God’s Truth. Ephesians 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Godly leaders must preach the glorious Gospel of God’s Truth. Jesus is returning for His Church made ready by the washing of the Word that His Bride may be presented to Him Holy and without Blemish.

The Power Of God’s Presence requires Embracing God’s Truth!

Leaving No Room! by Myra Boozer

As the Communist atheists allowed no place for JESUS in their hearts, I decided I would leave NOT the smallest place for Satan in mine...” by Founders of the Voice of the Martyrs.

We must be on guard in what we allow into our hearts and our thoughts. Stay full of God and the Holy Spirit then there is no room for Satan. The Spirit will warn us when Satan is knocking on our door wanting to come in thru the media, or thru unforgiveness, idolatry, pride, or unbelief, to name a few. There are so many ways he will try to enter our minds and take up residence in our hearts. Don't answer when he comes knocking. If you do answer, make sure you answer with scripture! Luke 4:8, "Get thee behind me Satan for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." We live in a world of sin, and corruption is everywhere we look. We must stay away from it! We cannot partake of sin and remain pure, holy, and Godly!

A well known evangelist said after receiving Christ in his life, some of his past friends came by wanting him to do drugs with them. He thought about it and said, I would have to lay down what God has done for me in order to go with you guys today. He felt it was not worth the trade! "He washed me clean and gave me back my life. I can't go back to my old ways of living.” Thankfully he would not consider giving up his "New Life" in Christ for the pleasure of sin. The sin that had almost killed him. He was used by God to win many souls during the Pensacola Brownsville Revival.

Remember we are in training for the Lord's Army. When we fall down, we get back up. Never give up on God. Keep striving for the goal. Philippians 4:13, "I CAN do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." With the help of our Lord we will remain faithful to Him and the calling He has on our life.

So grateful he continues to pursue me and confronts me about my life through His Word. He is still changing me and conforming me into His image, for which I am thankful. I too have a desire that not even the smallest place in my heart is given over to Satan.

"Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path," Psalm 119:105. Guard your heart and thoughts so they are filled with God...LEAVING NO ROOM IN YOUR LIFE FOR SATAN!

God Is Holy! So Are His Children! Conclusion

Ephesians 5:25, “...Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”

Holiness is a New Testament teaching and has become a serious issue in the 21st-century church. If we believe and accept the Bible we must declare that holiness is an absolute in the Body of Christ. The Body of Christ is the Bride of Christ and is destined to be presented to Christ as a holy bride washed in the blood of the lamb.

There appears to be some confusion among secular churches about the definition of “holiness.” How can we embrace holiness and sin at the same time? Sure, we need to identify with the struggles of the sinner but we cannot accept the life of sin. And neither can the sinner if he or she wants to be truly free. Sin is a weight. Its destructive powers are like a malignant cancer with its invasive tentacles reaching into every fiber of the human body. The cancer must be identified and eradicated. It is the work of the Holy Ghost to identify the sin in us. It is the work of the same Holy Ghost to destroy the sin as one repents and walks in the redeeming power of the blood of Jesus bringing captive every thought and deed.

We must serve notice to Satan. We must tell him that he cannot exert his influence in our lives. He needs to know that he is not welcome. He needs to feel the fervor of the Holy Spirit when he comes calling. He needs to know that this house is under the supervision of the Lord God Almighty.

Holiness is not adherence to a creed, doctrine, or religious ritual. Holiness is the result of spiritual transformation created in the heart of the believer by the indwelling of the Spirit of God. Thereby the believer becomes a new creation in Christ Jesus, born anew from above. John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Holiness is an attribute of the new heart created in the life of the believer. Being born from above, the believer receives his guidance from our Father above and reflects that guidance in every facet of his life.

The child will manifest the attributes of the father! The Father Is Holy! So Are His Children!

He's A Good, Good Father! by Myra Boozer

Today I'm thankful for God's provision. All my life, God has always been such a big part, even when I strayed away at different times like a rebellious child. He was on my mind and I knew He was looking out for me and calling me back to a close relationship with Him. I always sensed His strong arm of correction, not allowing me a clear conscience for my actions but showing me my error (something a good parent does for their children).

Sometimes it is not in our plans to turn away from God but little by little if we're watching other people. We will begin to question why some things are never dealt with and why others help them to cover up their sin. But this is something that has always been and we surely see evidence of that going on today more than ever. People will let you down and disappoint you, causing you to pull away from God and Church. Just remember we will NOT be judged by what others do or say. We will be judged for our own words and actions.

Those whom God loves, He will chastise. We don't like correction but just remember when God cares enough for you to take time to discipline YOU, He really cares. God not only shows us what is wrong in our life but He brings a solution and healing to our problems.

He has truly provided what I have needed. His direction and correction have brought me to where I am today. But, I had to turn around and seek His forgiveness knowing that I was not going to survive in the world on my own. I needed Him and all that He had for me and that included Him being my Lord and Master.

He is my avenger, my strength, and my protector. My heart is fixed on Him. My eyes are looking for His coming and I am filled with JOY in the expectation of what He has in store for those who love Him. YES, HE HAS PROVIDED ALL I'VE EVER NEEDED, EVEN THE DISCIPLINE... SO THANKFUL!!!!! He’s A Good, Good Father!

A Portrait Of My Father!

You are mighty Oh God in the midst of your people. Who can stand against Your beloved as You dwell among them? How Great and Mighty You are, Your Wonders ready to perform. Is anything too difficult for You? “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” Jeremiah 32:17. There is nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing that God can’t do. Put your faith and trust in Him today!

"Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit of God, when I survey the awesomeness of who you are, I stand in wonder of your person. You are the Creator of all things yet you are my Father. You are the Life and Sustainer of all things created yet you are my Life and more abundantly. You are my Way, my Truth, and my Life. In you, I live and move and have the entirety of my being. You are the power of the Almighty God inhabited within the person of the Holy Spirit as witnessed in the book of Acts. Yet you are my Strength, my Power, my Comforter, my Teacher, my Paraclete. You are the Divine and Magnanimous Person who inhabits all of eternity yet you are my Friend, my Companion, my Heart, and my Soul. There is no one like you! Thank you for loving me! Thank You, My Father!”

Can You Believe? by Myra Boozer

Can you believe how fast things are falling apart in this country and the world for that matter. God will not put up with evil running rampant for an extended time. He will come and fight against these evil people who seem to prevail.

God has all power and those who think they are so high and mighty to come against God and His Holy Word, will find that they can ONLY do what God allows them to do. One day they will tremble in His presence, bow their knee and confess He is LORD. But that will be too late! NOW is the day of salvation!

Somehow I believe these, that have turned to such rebellion against God and the Truths that our country was founded upon, at some point rejected the still small voice of a loving God who offered His only Son for their sins. But they rejected Him! When any person keeps on rejecting God, they are falling deeper into the arms of an evil master that will consume them with his deceitful ways and carry them with him to the pits of hell.

God has given us another day (well, He could come at any time, before the night has ended) but we have this time right now to surrender our hearts, our minds, our wills. It could be too late for those who don't have ears to hear but for those who have ears, let him hear what the Spirit is saying. Call on the Lord while He is near! Seek Him while He can still be found. Please don't take God for granted and spurn your opportunity to know Him as Lord and Master of your life.

"For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled," 1 Peter 3:12-14.

There is a song that says, "God is fighting for us. He is on our side. We will not be shaken. We will not be moved." God is so faithful to His children! He will not allow them to be defeated. Can You Believe?

God Is Holy! So Are His Children!

Psalm 29:2, “Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.”

God requires that we come before Him in holiness. If we are to enter into His presence, we will do so under the covering of Holiness. The Psalmist said it best, if we are to give God the glory that is due Him, if we are to truly worship Him, we will do so in His holiness. Holiness is an indispensable element of our relationship with God. Hebrews 12:14, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:”

Man was created in the image of God, and until he sinned he was the reflection of God. After the disobedience of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, God pronounced the curse of sin upon all creation. All that God had created would carry the scar of man’s failure.

The sin in mortal man cannot be representative of God. Therefore, the sin must be cast aside and abandoned. That is done in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus provided everything we need to be a true disciple through His cleansing blood. Look to the cross, believe in the cleansing of Christ, be washed in His blood and He will make you clean and holy. We are then the reflection of God.

A disciple of Christ will reflect the character of God. 1 Peter 1:16, “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” Peter’s reference is to the command of God in Leviticus 11:44-45 for the people of God to be holy as the one who has called them is holy. Jesus was also our example and was without sin. 1 Peter 2:22, “Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:”

Holiness is a New Testament teaching and has become a serious issue in the 21st-century church. If we believe and accept the Bible we must declare that holiness is absolute in the Body of Christ. The Body of Christ is the Bride of Christ and is destined to be presented to Christ as a holy bride washed in the blood of the lamb. Ephesians 5:25, “...Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” The Bride will be presented in holiness. Jesus shed His blood on the cross as a sacrifice to atone for our sin. In Him, sin is cast aside and abandoned, never to be remembered. The believer is wholly washed becoming a child of God and prepared to be the reflection of his Father. Amen! (continued)

A Life Of Dead Rituals! by Myra Boozer

God is telling us something...He cares! He really cares for everything that concerns us. The Lord gave me this early one morning after I had been so sick. I got up out of bed three times as the Lord was impressing me to write. I am only sharing part. "Don't let your life become a routine of dead rituals. You will drown in a sea of dead deeds with no life and no resurrection. The living must live in the ‘now experience’ of Jesus Christ with a daily submission to His will for their life. Arise out of sleep and stand on the Banks of Resurrection where there is life, freedom, and hope as fresh and new as the living waters that flow in the stream of your salvation. The dead are dead but the living are alive in Him. No more rituals. No more going through the motions. Rejoice in your new Freedom. Sing and be Glad!" Read it again and again because we must understand. Our salvation is new every morning. Jesus is calling us to awake from our FORM of godliness, from our cold and unfruitful life, from our downtrodden life, and be whole and complete in Him. HE IS LIFE!

Colossians 2:6, “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:" This is the only way to be complete. All the searching and wandering will NEVER end in the desired result until one receives Christ and follows HIM. Following Jesus is never dull or boring. He is very much alive, refreshing, and revitalizing (means to breathe new life into).

Don't get caught up in a list of traditional "must do's" in order to be a Christian. Remember, you can drown in the routine of dead rituals. True Repentance will make you alive in Christ Jesus. When you experience this radical change in your life, you will rejoice in your Freedom from sin and the bondage it had you in. You will want to tell someone, so tell them! You will want to read and study the Word, so take time for it. You will want to pray for others, not because it is your duty but because you have great compassion for them. You will want to worship so put your worship music on and spend time in the presence of the Lord. During this time, pour out your heart to Him. You don't have to be in church to worship. Worship is a matter of the heart. Never allow your love for God to grow cold. Remember, live in the "now experience" of Jesus Christ. Keep Your worship on! It is a great way to pray and praise the ONE you love, Jesus Christ!

A New Way Of Living!

Romans 12:2, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Are you sick and tired of the way your life is going? Are you disappointed with the outcome which you expected to be totally different? Are you frustrated with all the empty promises you have received which never materialized? If you expect your life to be different, then you need to change your approach. If you keep living the same way and doing the same things, you will continue to get the same result. If you are tired of being beaten up by this worldly system, it is time for a change! It is time for a new way of living! Would you like to wipe the slate clean and begin fresh and brand new? You can in the Lord Jesus Christ!

God has a perfect plan for you! However, He will set you apart from this worldly system and make you holy unto Himself. You will not live according to the custom or pattern of this current age. We cannot follow the example of the world community and expect to draw near to God. The customs and behavior of our world system are repulsive to God. 2 Cor. 2:16, “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,..” God will separate you from the pollution of this world and make you His. He will make you an instrument of His Holiness!

Why would you settle for less than the very best your life could possibly be? It all depends on who or what you put your trust in! The system of this world will let you down. We cannot place our trust in the hands of mortal man but must seek out the “life-giver” who already has a plan, His plan for our lives. If we will obey His call, He will fully implement His Divine “order” in us and through us. Order suggests the way objects in space or events in time are arranged or follow one another. God knows where we need to be at any given time so He may bring forth His Divine purpose in us. He is vividly aware of the best possible path for our lives. He sees our future and knows the way we should take.

John 10:7, “Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” A New Way Of Living!

Whose Work Are We Doing? by Myra Boozer

John 6:28, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."

"Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established," Proverbs 16:3. Whose work are we doing? Our work or the Lord's work? When life is all about "ME," I am suddenly overtaken with my thoughts, which causes me to be living my life for me.

If my heart is on the Lord and His plan for my life then my personal life becomes secondary and serving Him takes priority. I don't have to search for work...but yield myself to BELIEVE ON HIM and He will bring people and situations into my life that I can love and be a blessing to. That my friend is the GOOD LIFE...loving God and loving Others...that is His plan for us! Whose Work Are You Doing?

The Weapons Of Our Warfare Are Not Earthly!

2 Cor. 10:3, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

We are engaged in a great spiritual conflict! Fleshly or earthly instruments of war have no value in this conflict. However, we are empowered by the shed blood of Jesus Christ to engage and defeat the enemy of all souls, Satan. All souls belong to God. Jesus has purchased all who will come to Him and receive His deliverance. God declares in Ezekiel 18:4, “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine:..” Somebody must deliver this message of Christ's deliverance. We must not delay the action of engaging the enemy! We must not be negligent in our mission!

We cannot win this spiritual conflict in our flesh! We already know that! Our carnal man has failed us and we cannot defeat Satan in our flesh. The weapons of this warfare must come from a higher plane. We must be empowered and instructed by the Lord God Almighty.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;” Paul declares that our “weapons” are not in the flesh but “mighty” in the Spirit of God so that we may participate with Him in the destruction of the “strongholds” of Satan. This is a military phrase for the capture and destruction of fortresses. Ellicott states that Paul “speaks as if leading an attack on the strong defenses of the powers of evil...” Paul knew that His task was much larger than what he could perform. He knew that the Body of Christ would need the power of the Holy Spirit. He (Holy Spirit) will exercise His power to destroy the strongholds of Satan.

The 1st Century Church was not successful in its mission by human power and authority. These Disciples of Christ did not rely on human wisdom or eloquence. Their source of power and strength was solely in Jesus Christ. God’s plan has not changed. The source of our power and strength must rest solely in Jesus Christ. And when it does, the fortresses of Satan will fall powerless in the presence of Almighty God! Bring it, Lord bring it! Help us all to die to everything that does not begin and end in You! The Weapons Of Our Warfare Are Not Earthly!

Early One Sunday Morning! by Myra Boozer

Early one Sunday Morning years ago as I was walking and praying for our neighborhood, I came upon a big pile of new looking items that were bent and twisted...some sort of toys or game for children. I looked toward the house and there I could see looking out the picture window two little heads, one taller than the other, and the look on their faces was hopelessness. It actually broke my heart for they were looking at what used to be something they were no doubt happy to receive.

It had not been that long since Christmas but now it was destroyed. I could hardly deal with this! What could have happened? How could their new toys be laying on the curb? Was someone angry, or high on drugs? Was there abuse in the family? And most of all, were the little boys not only emotionally abused but also physically abused? So much was rushing through my mind. Such a sad day for them and for me, because when I looked into their little faces I too felt the pain. With a broken heart for God's little ones I walked on and cried tears of compassion asking God to take control of whatever was going on in that house.

This is the same thing happening to many people in our world today. They are looking out with eyes of great sadness and heartbreak upon something or someone they once loved but see no hope of restoration. They see the damage and the pieces of their dreams all twisted and broken...Feeling forsaken and alone to face the future not sure what will become of them.

I wanted so badly to go and hold those little ones in my arms and make things happy for them. I wanted to comfort them. I wanted to say, it's okay we will fix it. But I am most sure there was a great stronghold in that house. It would take more than me. It would take God Almighty! I am praying for God to break the strongholds over the homes of this broken and hopeless generation today! I pray that God Almighty will become the Guardian over their lives! There is HOPE in Christ Jesus for full RESTORATION!

Seeking God For Spiritual Awakening Of Pentecostal Proportions! Conclusion

Romans 13:11, “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” My very soul cries out, “Lord, send Your fire among us! Burn away everything that is unlike You! Reveal to us anything that is displeasing to You!” Can we call out to God with the Psalmist in Psalm 139:23, “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Lord, help us to see ourselves as You see us. And give us the desire and strength to make the necessary corrections.

I pray that God pours out holy desperation in the Church to fulfill His plan in this hour! Are we willing to be shaped and molded as a vessel that God will choose to use? God can use whoever or whatever He chooses when He chooses. He has utilized various elements in creation as it has served His purpose. He has used animals, birds, fish, and even inanimate objects like a staff or a piece of wood. He has even used some of us when it suited His purpose. But, we need to be so hungry to be used by God that He will see our desperation to come along beside Him and fulfill His Plan in this hour.

A Pentecostal level spiritual awakening will require a restoration of the power of the Holy Spirit in our churches. May the Spirit of God bring about a hunger in our congregations that He can birth Pentecostal revival as in our history. Revival that will change us and our families, move our communities and affect our nation. We must have Divine intervention in this hour! If we will seek Him according to His will, He has promised to answer. 2Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” And again in Luke 11:9, “And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

We need Divine intervention. However, we must desire His help and welcome Him when He comes. It’s time to pray because our future depends on it! And the future of everyone within the sphere of our ministry! IT’S TIME TO PRAY!

The Worth Of A Soul! by Myra Boozer

I was awakened in the early morning hours with this thought, “the worth of a soul!” My thoughts automatically went to the scripture. "Behold, all souls are mine..." Ezekiel 18:4a. I actually went back to sleep and the thought was with me when I got up. I was searching and thinking, “the worth of a soul?” It has got to be enormous because of the price Jesus paid. He bought us with His precious blood. So we are valuable! But how valuable? What are we worth?

Some may put a great value upon themselves thinking of themselves more highly than they should. But they will never come to the value that God the Father and His Son have placed upon them. What makes something worth anything? Something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it!

I found this in an article that came from Rescuing Wayward Children. "Can we imagine that the Savior, innocent of sin, who had assumed the staggering weight of the demands of justice until vessels broke and blood seeped from every pore of His suffering body, who had submitted Himself to brutal beatings, to unconscionable humiliation, to arrogant injustice, to the torture of a thirty-nine-lash scourging, to the horror of being stripped and stretched violently upon a cross, to being raised up to hang, full-body weight, from those spikes until He allowed death to overwhelm Him – can we imagine that after the Redeemer had paid that immeasurable price to ransom every individual, that He would lose interest in a sinner, give up, or stop short of His rescuing effort?"

Wow, this was overwhelming for me to read. I don't usually go that deep into my thinking about His suffering. I much rather think of His Resurrection. It makes me smile and rejoice in the fact that because He lives, I can live also.

But to find my answer I had to acquaint myself afresh with His suffering. I had to go there and experience the thoughts of what He was so willing to pay. He paid the ultimate price for me and for YOU. That puts a big price tag on us, all because of Him, not because of any good thing we have done.

It will take a revelation from the Lord for us to see people in the same light that Jesus does. "When we fix our eyes on what is really important to God it will be people." Jesus died for ALL PEOPLE! He paid the price making each one as valuable as the other. When our eyes are opened we will "see the great value and plan that God has for all people."

Run For Your Life!

I recently heard a sermon by this title delivered by Pastor Carter Conlon, General Overseer of the Times Square Church in New York City. He preached this sermon on Sunday after the horrific attack on the Twin Towers on 9/11/2001. I believe that it was then a WORD from God and is still applicable to the Church today, almost 20 years later. I have included a link here to the full sermon. (youtube.com/watch?v=1YDvuBAczXY&feature=share).

I was so moved by this message that I feel the urgency to share something I wrote a couple years ago. The Church of Jesus Christ stands at a pivotal point in our commission for the completion of the last day's harvest. Our response to the call of God will bear directly upon the salvation of souls. Will I be responsible for souls being lost that could have been saved had I been obedient to the prompting of the Holy Ghost? That is the eternal question!

Joel 2:15, "Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: 16.Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. 17Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?"

Joel repeated his call of 2:1. The difference here is a call to national repentance to be performed in a national gathering of all the people before God. The priests were to proclaim a day of humiliation for all the people regardless of age or distinction. Joel summons all ranks and classes to assemble in the Temple for this solemn service.

Sanctify the people! The people were to prepare themselves for this solemn time. Under the Law, they were to wash themselves and their clothes. They were commanded to cleanse themselves from all impurities, to have offered sacrifice for any transgressions of the Law. To be obedient was to be purged and made worthy to be presented before the Lord in His house!

Assemble the elders, children, babies. No one should be excluded. Even the bride and the bridegroom were to delay their festivities for this solemn assembly. Everything must STOP and all attention to focus on the Lord of glory.

The priests, the ministers of the Lord were commanded to take the lead in this sacred work of penitence. They are compelled by the greatness of the national trespass to stand weeping and praying between the porch and the altar. It was here, in the open court, that the priest with his face toward the inner court and the altar, turned his petition toward God in supplication for the sins of the people.

As I read this text, I cannot help but think what would happen if God's people would approach God with the same intensity as was required here. Such fervency that would drive us all to our knees in convulsive groans of agony for the needs of the lost and Christ's Church alike. I am reminded of Jesus' encounter with the weight of His destiny as He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane. "And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground." Luke 22:44. Is not our destiny just as relevant? He (Christ) has given us as the Body of Christ the urgent task to carry the message of deliverance to all creation. Do we not languish in such a state of national trespass in desperate need of the sacred work of penitence? God help us to fall helplessly into His embrace and become an example and instrument of His salvation and deliverance. God, send your fire among us! May the Holy Spirit set us ablaze that we will never be the same. Change us Lord into what you desire us to become. Make us instruments of your salvation. There is a change coming! Are we willing to be changed?

What's Next? by Myra Boozer

I shared these feelings two years ago on this day Jan 20, 2019. Then on Jan. 20, 2020, I had been feeling this very strongly over the past couple of days and thought of posting my thoughts. Then I read my memories for that morning. So here it is from 2019!

The Left wants FULL CONTROL! THAT is the only way they can have ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT. I personally believe it doesn't matter the issue. They just want to destroy the present administration and whoever is not for their plan and their control. We are in a desperate situation in America.

I pray for people to call out to God! When God declares time is up for the REPENTANCE OF THIS COUNTRY, not for individuals but as a country, I believe HE will let “them" have it back to destroy. That will bring in the GREAT TRIBULATION PERIOD as the world has never seen before.

Remember, God is stronger than these people and could stop them. But He is allowing sin to have its reward...death! The wages of sin is death! Unrepented sin will always reap DEATH. Today the REAL need is for people to surrender to God Almighty and follow HIM!

Today is Jan. 20, 2021. Well, they worked their plan and got into the oval office with pen in hand. They quickly changed several things that President Trump worked so hard to achieve. But I will say again, God has allowed this. I believe it is time for the culmination of all things!

My heart is so heavy for the people who LOVE AMERICA...those who have no desire to kill babies or to change their gender...no desire to erase our history and take away our freedom of speech and freedom to bear arms...on and on.

It won't take long and you will fully understand what I am saying. If you don't know the Lord Jesus, it is time to call out to Him and make your peace with Him. You and I and everyone are going to need Him as never before. May you find comfort and peace in knowing Him as your Savior, Redeemer, and soon Coming King!

NOTE: I changed a few words in the original post to make it more easily understood.

What Lies Ahead?

God knows what He wants to happen in our world and in each of our lives. Every living soul is posed with the decision of whether to heed the leading of God or to choose the alternative. Many are struggling to define God’s purpose and will for today while others are literally giving their life’s blood in the name of Jesus. All over the world, every person has that choice and God’s Spirit is striving with us all. But, it will not always be this way because the Bible says, “...My spirit shall not always strive with man...” Genesis 6:3.

God is dealing with all of us, urging us to follow His path. For some, God will make His presence known in a very strong and profound manner. For others, it may be less conspicuous. However, God will expose the world to His influence and every person will make the choice to follow or not. We choose the course of our lives and the inevitable end of that choice.

The leaders of governments are making decisions today that will bring them and their system of government more in line with the justice and rule of God’s law or their decisions will put them in opposition to God. It is called “anti-Christ” and the leaders of nations are making that choice today. Those choices will put them on an inevitable collision with the judgment of God. Many have already made their choice and are suffering the pains of Divine judgment.

Our heavenly Father knows the way that we should take. Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” We must walk close to Him so He may convey His direction to us. He will direct our steps if we will hear and obey His voice. John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” Our relationship must be such that we will hear and willingly consent to His guidance. He will lead us! He will be all that we need Him to be! If we put our faith and trust in the Lord Jesus, it’s not so important What Lies Ahead!

Worship God In Everyday Life! by Myra Boozer

Are you loving on the Lord with your Worship? I once heard someone say that she lived a life of Worship, that in everything she did she worshiped the Lord. Sounds wonderful and that is the way I want to live. Lord let my life be a life filled with worship, not that I am standing on the rooftop praising you all day but in my everyday routine. I want the things I say and do to be acceptable unto YOU. If they happen not to be, Lord may you pull me into subjection by the Holy Spirit. Let me be quick to earnestly say," I am sorry" and be convicted of my error.

I want the joy of the Lord to rule my life. Yes, sometimes I hurt and sometimes I cry but I have a joy that is deeper than those things that affect me. My joy is in knowing that I serve a God who is bigger than all my pain and all my struggles. He is stronger than any storm that pushes its way into my world. He is the ONE my hopes are built upon. There is nothing that I can do or think of that brings me more contentment than knowing He loves me, knowing that He has all my hopes and dreams in His hands. That He is returning one day for me and my family (those who love Him and have committed everything to Him).

This world of great fame and riches will one day humbly bow down at His feet and confess "JESUS IS LORD." Everybody who has been too busy with getting all they could from this life, instead of living a life of worship will be so very troubled and distraught. All that has been accumulated, houses, land, silver, and gold will all melt away, leaving them emotionally bankrupt and defeated. But this understanding that I have with my Lord will continue to hold me and carry me from this ole world to my new Home that He has gone to prepare. "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN, AND RECEIVE YOU UNTO MYSELF; that where I am, there ye may be also," John 14:2-3.

Remember, God desires to receive glory from the life we live EVERY DAY, not just on SUNDAY or when someone is watching. Worship God In Everyday Life!

Seeking God For Spiritual Awakening Of Pentecostal Proportions!

Acts 2:1, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.”

The writer of Acts is describing the events that took place on the Day of Pentecost celebrated 50 days after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus had instructed His disciples to go to Jerusalem and pray for the coming Comforter, the Holy Spirit. Jesus’ disciples were in the process of obeying the direction of Christ for a period of 10 days. They had to prepare for the promise of the Comforter.

As I read this passage in Acts 2, a particular phrase stands out to me, “...they were all with one accord...” The followers of Jesus Christ were preparing to receive one of the greatest moves of the Holy Spirit perhaps since the Creation. Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the deep and God CREATED… ”And God said, Let there be light: and there was light...and God divided the light from the darkness.” The awesomeness of what God has created is beyond human comprehension yet God stepped into the darkness and CREATED.

All existing entities were “with one accord” with Creation, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Why did Jesus instruct His disciples to tarry at Jerusalem? God’s purpose was to Create Light in darkness. The young Church of Jesus Christ would be the instrument for that Creation. The Church had to come into “one accord” with the Spirit of God, the Mind of God, the plan of God. That could only happen in the atmosphere of the uninhibited moving of the Holy Spirit inhabiting flesh and blood bodies yet yielded unreservedly to His Creating. Therefore, Jesus knew that they would need that 10 days to prepare themselves for the outpouring of His Holy Spirit at that Pentecost!

As the Body of Christ, we must understand the task that is before us! The weight of our mission is insurmountable apart from the inspiration, revelation, and anointing of the Holy Spirit. We cannot finish what Jesus began without a visible, recognizable, Holy Ghost birthed Spiritual Awakening of Pentecostal Proportions! (continued)

When Something Is Just Not Right! by Myra Boozer

If you ever feel that something is just not right, maybe you feel a little anxious, a little fretful, maybe a little uncertain about things and you just can't put your finger on it. I have found the answer. Get into worship and let the Glory of The Lord come down giving you a refreshing that comes from His presence. If that doesn't work, just talk to Him one on one, asking Him if there is anything in your life that is not pleasing to Him...maybe your attitude, your actions, or your inability to rely on Him. Learn to love the closeness that worship and prayer brings. Sometimes it takes effort and discipline, especially in the beginning. We are His children and sometimes children don't always make the right choices. So we must ask if we don't already know, "God what is wrong in my life?"

This world is a headache sometimes, well all the time...but God desires that we overcome the world. Don't get caught up in the worldly system or the SIN that is so prevalent and very seductive. It can reel you in and take over quickly, putting your life in a state of turmoil and real danger. Instead, you can experience wonderful fellowship with the Lord and cast off all the heaviness the world throws at you.

We must remember the physical freedom that we hold so dear cost a great price. Our forefathers suffered and many died because they dared to declare Independence from the mother country England. I know our Freedom is not Free...it cost and is still costing. “God help us to know that our Freedom in You cost Your only Son, Jesus.” Oh, how He loves us and we must not trample His mercy as we see some who trample our American Flag and our American Heritage.

Stand firm in the things God has shown you in His Word. Live true to the standard He has set for you to live by. The Bible, His Word is not to be ignored, pushed aside, or rearranged to fit one's lifestyle. Understand there is Life in the boundaries and guidelines of His Word. There is protection from shame and disgrace. There is forgiveness and freedom in His mercy. There is transformation from a drab and hopeless life to a life of overflowing joy and peace, even in the midst of trouble. It can happen when you open your heart with confession instead of trying to keep secrets from the Lord. He sees all anyway...we can't hide anything from Him. He so desires for us to come as a little child and give him our heart, our worship, and our allegiance. He will make all things new in our life as only He the Creator of all things can do!

There's A Change Coming! Conclusion

There’s a voice that’s calling, will you be set free?” The Holy Spirit is calling the hopeless, the destitute, the broken, the captive. His invitation is to deliverance and freedom! God’s desire is to enlist all who will answer His call. Jesus says in Rev. 3:20, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Whoever will, let him come! God is gathering the masses of His heavenly forces. The forces of darkness have assembled in opposition to LIGHT and LIFE. LIGHT will dispel the darkness. There is no doubt of that truth. The question is, “Which side will YOU choose?”

Father, I pray for the Church, the Body of Christ, all of us. Help us to hear what You are saying to the Church. Create within us a renewed desire to walk in intimacy with You. Bring us so close that the wind of Your Spirit cannot pass between us except we are aware of what You are doing in the Body. Father, we must have Your direction and instruction. Push back the darkness that clouds our minds and thoughts and prevents us from walking fully in Your light. Burn away the fog of deception with the fire of Your Holy Spirit in our presence. Lead us forward into Your Divine plan for each of us and collectively as the Body of Christ. Shine Your Light upon our path that we can see clearly the way You have chosen for us. Help us each one to find our place and serve with renewed passion. Create that passion in us as we submit to the direction of the Holy Spirit. Empower us to share Your message in the anointing of Your Spirit. Break the chains that prevent us from seeing total victory. Create within us an insatiable hunger for renewal and spiritual awakening. Father God, send Your Holy Ghost fire among us. Baptize us afresh in Your Pentecostal power. Father breathe upon us once again. Breathe Your life into this breathless, hopeless mortal body. Quicken us with Your Life-giving Spirit. Cause cloven tongues of fire to rest upon us yet once more. Thank you, Jesus! Stir the burning embers of our past experience that they may break into a full blaze of present revival fire. Send Your fire Lord and prepare us to receive Him when He comes! Amen.

Stop The Worry! Get Ready! by Myra Boozer

Trust isn't a very big word but it sure brings about BIG changes in the lives of those who can open their heart and wrap their mind around it. Oh, the peace it can bring to a troubled soul. The calm assurance that comes all packaged with peace is priceless! It will pick you up and carry you in its arms if you will only yield your will (your life) to His will and surrender your thoughts to His thoughts.

Being ready to meet the Lord means, "If we live or if we die we are safe in His arms of Mercy." So, we don't have to worry about anything. Being totally surrendered to His WILL brings us into "His Pavilion." Psalm 27:5, "For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock."

At His command, all creation will have to listen and do what He says. When God speaks, I pray we will recognize that it is Him that is speaking. Sometimes He has to speak to us in a LOUD voice to ever get our attention. I feel He is speaking to the world today as it is spinning out of control with great concern about the floods, the fires, the disease, the hunger, the abuse, and the threats. Can you hear Him saying, "...Fear not, I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and HAVE THE KEYS OF HELL AND OF DEATH;" Revelation 1:17b-18.

Allow the Lord Jesus to speak to your heart today and show you where we are on His calendar. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and he is about to come for all those who have been washed in the blood of the Lamb. After that takes place, YOU don't want to be here! Great tribulation and the wrath of God will come upon this world! Please find your shelter in the safe place, "His Pavilion," the place of redemption and ultimate healing for your soul before the Rapture takes place.

Jesus could come any hour! For those who are ready, it will be wonderful. For those who aren't, it will be a horrible time. Don't spend your time worrying about what is coming. Be ready and watching! We do not know the HOUR He is coming but He is coming! Stop The Worry! Get Ready!

There's A Change Coming! Part 2

Acts 2:1, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

A fresh wind of the Holy Ghost is blowing across our world. Previously where there has been doubt and defeat, God is raising up men and women who are embracing His Voice, His Vision, and His Victory. He will show, through the lives of the faithful, that His eternal promises are secure. God will reveal Himself to this generation as the awesome, all-powerful, all-knowing, loving, nurturing Father that He is.

The lines have been drawn. God will bring His plan to completion. Satan will fight against God and all who identify with His holiness. The wind of God’s Holy Spirit is effectuating the change necessary in the heart of every believer to make us ready for the finale. God’s desire is to enlist all who will answer His call. Change is coming! Do you desire to be changed? Are you willing to be changed?

Ezekiel 37:7, “So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. 8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. 9Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.” (continued)

You Can Know The Truth! by Myra Boozer

What should we be concerned about TODAY? Truth is a major issue that keeps getting twisted in lies and more lies. Some things just get swept under the rug while others continue to be proclaimed from the rooftop. The bottom line is, we need Truth to prevail. The more we seek Truth, the more we can recognize lies when they are presented.

There is so much deception in our world. Everyone seems to have their own song and dance routine. They dance to a different beat. Sometimes that beat is unsure, not clear, just not accurate, but because it is their drum and their inspiration they continue to beat.

It is time for us to find the Master Conductor and fall at His feet, so that we may receive the correct notes and play the sound that the world needs to hear. No, everyone does not play the same notes and sometimes everyone stops for that loud sound of the cymbal. In the scope of a beautiful masterpiece, everyone follows the conductor.

No one should be alone to play whatever sound he desires to play. All are united to play what the Master says to play. It is time to get alone with the Master and know what He wants from us. As the Church, we need to be playing His beautiful symphony. That is not what we are hearing, but if every Child of God will listen to the Conductor it can happen quickly.

There is a change in the air for the people of God. God is stirring hearts and bringing us into the unity of prayer. Prayer for repentance as a whole and prayer for the lost because our time is coming to a close. Our open window may be closing soon and there are still many who are not saved. It is time to pray! When we pray in fervency the windows of Heaven open and prayers will be answered...the Truth will be heard, souls will be saved, the work will be done, and the Bridegroom will come for His Bride! You Can Know The Truth!

There's A Change Coming!

2 Cor. 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Paul proclaimed this truth to emphasize the effect of the new birth in Jesus Christ. There is a different feeling in the air, a feeling of the extraordinary for the child of God. There is great anticipation and expectation in the family of God. We have a renewed faith and trust in the promises of God as we see the conclusion of former things and reach for all things becoming new. We have a renewed faith and trust in the promises of God. This is a new day, a day to reach for the very best God has for us. God sees all the way to the end and desires nothing but good for us in Christ.

There is no reason for the child of God to feel discouraged. He will walk with us to our final mortal breath. Paul said in 2 Cor. 4:8, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;” We may feel that we are pushed down but we cannot be defeated as long as our focus remains in the Lord Jesus Christ! We must run the race in faith and with courage. We are at the door of the most earth-shaking event in human history. We are standing at the threshold, the precipice, poised for the culmination of all things.

The Holy Ghost is calling us to rise up! Rise up in the anointing and commission of Jesus Christ and finish our mission here. Jesus said in Matt. 28:18, “...All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth...” Jesus established His position of power! He, who was in the beginning, who was a participant in the creation of all things. He, who is one of three persons in the Divine Trinity of God, spoke the Words of God and brought all creation to life, Gen. Chapter 1. He, who was from the beginning has now commissioned His authority and power to His Church, His called-out Body with the Divine responsibility to GO and do what He has done.

As His Church we must receive the Holy Spirit in the same fashion as Acts 2. We must petition and welcome Him to come upon us and anoint us to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the broken, to bring deliverance to the captives, healing to the blind both spiritually and physically, and provide comfort for all who mourn. It's Time To Come Home!

In the book of Luke, chapter 15, a certain man had two sons. The youngest of them decided he wanted to go out and make his mark in the world. So he took his portion of his father’s goods and went away into a far country. There he wasted his inheritance in riotous living. “And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want,” Luke 15:14. He found himself living with pigs and no one would help him. However, it was while he suffered in those deplorable conditions that his sense of home returned to him. Luke 15:17, “And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father.”

In that terrible place and demeaning position he began to think about home and the pleasant memories of serving in his father's house. He came to his right senses saying, “I will arise and go to my father...” v17. His sense of guilt and remorse brought him to a state of repentance making him willing to be a servant in his father's house. He left his deplorable life and returned to his father. His father received him with open arms declaring, “...my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry,” v.24.

It’s Time To Come Home! It doesn’t matter where you are or how deplorable your life. Your Heavenly Father wants you to know that He loves you and stands waiting with His arms open, ready to welcome you home. Come on home son or daughter! Your provision is in Your Father’s house!

John 6:35, “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”

Enveloped By His Beauty! by Myra Boozer

Not much snow so far this year but six years ago this week the Lord allowed us to be enveloped by His beauty. Covered like a huge blanket, we were all warm and cozy on the inside looking out at the beautiful scenery, admiring the work of the Lord in our own backyard.

I don't seem to get tired or bored at looking out the window at God's amazing handiwork. I love this wonderful covering of the streets before the car tracks began to change the beauty, all smooth and untouched, just like a baby fresh from the Mother's womb.

Our street lights just don't compare to the light that the snow brings, once it covers all the darkness of the earth. Just like the peace that comes to the troubled minds and hearts of the weary soul, not a trace of the darkness left uncovered.

It makes me think of the scripture in Isaiah 1:18, "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

I want to always be enveloped by the Peace that God brings. I want to be washed white as the driven snow. I want my life to help light up the world and make the hearts of children sing and the elderly rejoice. I want to touch the hearts of the lonely and give them family...to reach the youth and give them hope...to speak to the stranger and give them refuge...to be a wall that the weak can lean on...to be the fire that warms the cold...to be the food that fills the hungry. I want to be a tree that gives shade from the hot sun. I want to be someone that has purpose, that shows someone direction when they are lost. I want to be what God wants me to be, at any moment of any given day. Use me Lord as you wrap me in yourself! Enveloped By His Beauty!

Come Boldly Before The Throne Of Grace

Hebrews 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

It is expedient that we have the constant nurture and admonition of the Lord in our lives. We must have a fresh Word from the throne of God to empower and direct in our struggles today. We need an infusion of His power and might into our present conflict. We must have the presence of the Holy Spirit to provide wisdom and courage for today’s decisions.

How can we proceed further? What are the solutions to the problems looking us in the face? If we want to be victorious, there is only one answer. We must look to the Lord Jesus Christ in humility and contrition! He alone can give us the direction we so desperately need! The Bible tells us to come boldly to the throne of grace and make our petitions known to God through our mediator, Jesus Christ. Jesus beckons for us to bring it all and lay at His feet. He will take charge if we will relinquish our control.

Hebrews 4:14, “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

How can we dare to be bold in approaching God? Because His throne is the throne of GRACE and Jesus is our Advocate! He is pleading our case to the Father! He is our “great high priest” and continually makes intercession for us by the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:26, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” The key is to come humbly and with a contrite spirit. Even when we don’t know how to pray, the Spirit will pray for us according to the will of God. The heart must remain submissive to our God of Grace.

How do we know that God cares? Because our “great high priest” feels our pain! Jesus left His throne in glory, came to earth in the form of man, was tested in every way we could ever be tested, and did so without sin. He understands our human condition and is moved with compassion “with the feelings of our infirmities.”

How can we trust the promise God has made us? Because of who He is! Psalm 24:1, ”The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. 3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.” God is Sovereign and Powerful to do what He wants to do. However, what He wills to do is consistent with truth and justice. Whatever He does will be done in Truth and Mercy.

Psalm 89:14, “Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

Lord, I come boldly before the throne of Grace that I may trust You with all my heart. I will not depend upon my own knowledge and ability. Lord, may I always acknowledge you and allow you to lead me. I pray that we all will Come Boldly Before The Throne Of Grace! In Jesus’ Name.

Peace That Liberates The Soul! by Myra Boozer

Peace like a river flows from the Throne of our God. It is so clear and pure, rich in mercy and overflowing with Everlasting Life. It declares freedom for the prisoner...freedom from the chains that bind the hearts and lives of the sick, the depressed and broken...

It is being released for all who are thirsty...to all who desire to be set free from this dry and thirsty land of deceit...free from the synthetic and make-believe peace that is being manufactured by politicians and even some so-called Christians.

Lord your peace is genuine...it is perfect. It not only sets us free it gives us the ability to live in this messed up world with Hope...set free with a great desire to be Real, Healed, and Whole...

The soul of man cannot survive on any other source other than the True and Living Waters that flow from your Throne. It is the Peace that passes all our human understanding. It will soothe our doubts and calm all our fears.

Lord may we have the fortitude to seek you and find you. May we be submissive to your passionate and unwavering love toward us. May we allow you to set us free. It is your great desire for each of us...

Peace In The Storm!

John 14:1, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

This very moment as we battle the storms in our life, Jesus is making provision for us. He is providing the spiritual fortitude to bring us through the storms and also preparing our final destination to be with Him. We must place our hand in His and let Him lead us there.

There is no storm, no trial, no test or battle that He cannot navigate. In fact, He allows the storms to come to help us grow and mature as His disciples. He is teaching us to recognize the best path. He is teaching us that He is always with us and we are learning to recognize Him in our storm. God uses the storms to fashion His faith, His trust and His assurance in us. Faith that His promises are sure, trust that it is His voice we hear, and assurance that no matter where the storms may carry us, He is always there. Matt. 28:20, “...and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world...”

Christ has promised to go with us, sustain us and deliver us. What we must do is walk with Him. We belong to Him and He says, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” John 10:27. He has paid a great price for our deliverance and nothing can take us out of His hand if we will only trust and obey Him.

Psalm 31:19, “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! 20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.”

My soul craves the peace of God's presence. In His stillness, I find peace and rest. He lifts me above this world's raging storm. He quiets the winds and calms the blustery waves. He commands “peace, be still” and my life returns. He is my Peace In The Storm!

My Life Is In Your Hands! by Myra Boozer

Psalms 62:5, “My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. 8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.”

Lord, my life is in your hands. My tears are in your bottle. All my days have been written in your Book.

Lord my life is in your hands. I will not be overwhelmed for the terror by night nor the arrow that flies by day. Because you love me, I will come when you call.

I will wait until you come and I will rejoice in your mercy. All I will ever need is found in you Lord. May I always be listening for your voice. My Life is in your hands.

James 5:7, “Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.”
