Who Is On The Lord's Side? by Myra Boozer

WHO IS ON THE LORD'S SIDE AMONG YOU? This is the title of an old song that was sung about 40 years ago. I am asking the same question today. You don't have to answer now but in the days to come, the question will clearly be asked. Pressure is going to become stronger (MORE INTENSE) and you will have to give an answer.

The answer is not a true or false, or even a multiple choice, it is an answer that will be given by the way you live your life and stand true to what the Bible says about sin. Yes, you will be hated by the world, not by just one or two friends but by the world and its system...REJECTION in the highest form.

You may have been a Christian in hiding, following God from afar. But you will be asked, “are you one of them?” Be ready! It will take the power of the Holy Ghost in our lives to say, yes I am, and I agree with the Word of God. ALL OF IT...not just the acceptable part that people love to hear...BUT THE PART WHERE SIN WILL BE JUDGED...THAT NO VILE OR UNCLEAN PERSON (ONE NOT COVERED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS) WILL ENTER INTO HEAVEN...ALSO, THAT SIN WILL REAP IT'S JUST REWARD...THAT JUDGMENT IS COMING UPON THIS WORLD...THAT JESUS IS THE ONE AND ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN.

Get ready! Don't delay! Call upon the Lord to give you what is needed, for the question will be asked, “Who Is On The Lord’s Side?”

Respond Correctly To God's Revelation!

So what is the proper way to respond to a revelation from God? One should respond with holy reverence and submission. In Isaiah 6, he saw the Lord sitting on His throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple. He responded in holy reverence by falling on his face in total submission, lying prostrate before the Lord and crying out, woe is me for I am undone. Revelation puts one in awe of how miraculous God is but brings the understanding that God wholly embraces the repentant. Isaiah came face to face with the grace of Almighty God and he would never be the same. God’s question was, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” Isaiah’s response was, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8.

In Luke 2, how did the shepherds respond to the appearance of their Divine Messenger? Luke 2:9, “And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. They were terrified although they were the recipients of Divine Revelation. Luke2:10, “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy,” God's revelation brought good tidings personally and “which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” These were glad tidings. The promise was not only to the shepherds but to ALL people.

We must respond to God's revelation with the appropriate action. The shepherds did just that. “And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us,” Luke 2:15. God will validate and confirm His message. But we must be willing to pursue after the Truth. More often than not, God's revelation comes in steps, short messages, small pieces. In my experience, it has been much like a puzzle. Piece by piece you find its place until you can see the complete picture. (continued)

Spiritual Slavery Is Real! by Myra Boozer

John 8:34, “Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin."

Spiritual slavery is real and cruel. Romans 5:19, “For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” Because of Adam's disobedience, we were all born into sin. Because of Jesus obedience, we can be set free. Freedom from this bondage is found in Jesus Christ. He has opened the door for all who will rise up and walk out in faith, believing what He did on the cross for us.

With this freedom comes revelation or understanding of what Paul was talking about in Romans 8:18, "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." Amen!

It's really not about us...it’s about Eternity! It's not about us in the respect of what I want or think I may need. It is about my surrender to the one who created me and His plan to rescue me from Hell. It's not about how I feel or if things go my way or not. Remember we can't even begin to compare the sufferings of this present word against the Glory that will be revealed in us!

It's about enduring (whatever) till the end. It's about being delivered from the bonds of spiritual death. Freedom does not mean there are no struggles. It means we shall live and not die. We shall live forever with Him in His Kingdom.

Yes, spiritual slavery is real. Many are suffering and causing others to suffer because of its hold on them. This does not have to be! No one has to die a spiritual death because of sin and its bondage. John 8:36, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

Divine Revelation And Our Salvation!

1 John 4:13, “Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.”

No man can truly say that Jesus is the Son of God except by the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of God. Our finite, carnal mind cannot comprehend this gift of God to a lost and dying world. It takes the illumination of the Holy Spirit to open our consciousness to the reality of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for the redemption and salvation of our souls. God must take yet a greater role in our salvation by opening our heart in Divine Revelation to the magnitude of His gift of salvation. 2 Corinthians 9:15, “Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.”

And that is only the beginning! God must continue to lead us by Divine Revelation to where He is going or we will get lost along the way. Therefore, we must recognize the element of Divine Revelation in our personal relationship with God. We will experience competing doctrines and theories in our quest to fulfill God’s purpose through the Word. It is only through Divine Revelation that we can know the His TRUTH. The Holy Spirit will assist us in receiving the TRUTH if we will open our minds and hearts to Him.

Revelation is a personal experience. A revelation may impact one person, a great number of people or generations of people. For instance, when the angel of the Lord announced the birth of the Messiah to lowly shepherds in Luke 2, they were alone in a rural area and the message was for them. Luke 2:8, “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.” The angel of the Lord spoke directly to these few shepherds alone in the countryside. His message was a message to the shepherds first and then meant to be shared with the world.

First, the revelation was a personal experience. These shepherds had a visual and an emotional experience. “And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid,” Luke 2:9. Not only was it a personal experience but also an emotional experience.

As with most revelations from God, this experience was accompanied by awe and reverence. In most instances when God reveals Himself to us, we respond in utter disbelief that it could be happening. This scene causes my heart to proclaim, “WOW, WOW, WOW.” No doubt they were paralyzed with fear. But God always comforts and reassures when we recognize Him and respond properly. So, what is the proper way to respond to revelation from God? We must respond with holy reverence and submission. (continued)

Signs Of The Times! by Myra Boozer

One of the greatest signs we have in this day concerning the End Times is this...The evil and corrupt spirit that prevails in our world. It is so unified in setting up this new world order. An order without decency, truth, or justice. One filled with deceit and hypocrisy. Closer to the end it will be where only those who deny God and His ways will be accepted by this world system.

This system is being fueled by selfish individuals who want nothing to do with Truth or Righteousness. They are all about controlling and promoting what they think is acceptable. They want to make all the calls and say what is offensive to them. They don't want any part of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit or any person who professes Christ.

They don't want to retain God in their minds. So as a Christian, just your existence reminds them of who THEY actually are. They are made aware that God IS, and they will be judged unholy and unrighteous in His sight because of their choices unless they REPENT.

" Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin," Isaiah 30:1.

Jesus wants to be their Savior today. But He will definitely be their Judge one day. I Samuel 15:23, "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry." God have Mercy on this world.

Awake You Mighty Men!

Joel 3:9, “Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:”

This is a mighty spiritual war. Wake the mighty men! Call the ones who will agree together. Strong and mighty are those who will covenant together and be bound together by the cords of Truth.

Joel 3:10, “Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.”

Exchange your cultivating tools for tools of war. We must change our tactics. We must proceed as Nehemiah and those charged with rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem. Nehemiah 4:17, “They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon. 18 For the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and so builded...” They did the work with one hand and held a weapon in the other hand. They were prepared for the attack of the enemy at any time of the day or night.

It is time for an all-out assault on the powers of darkness. Go now and snatch precious souls from the clutches of evil. Go in the power and might of the Lord Jesus Christ within you. Time is running out. We are coming near to the consummation of all things. Zech. 12:8, “In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.” Look for the signs of Christ’s coming in the events surrounding the nation of Israel. It is there that the fountain will be opened for the salvation of the house of David. Zech. 13:1, “In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.” A third part will come through the fire and be refined as precious metal. Israel will call upon God, He will hear them and He will say, “It is my people,” and they will say, “The Lord is my God.”

Joel 3:9-17 is a description of the campaign of Armageddon. V12, “Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.” The valley of Jehoshaphat refers to the Kidron valley East of Jerusalem. The name means, “Yahweh judges.” The campaign of Armageddon will be a campaign of God’s wrath and judgment. Joel 2:2, “A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.” This is the great Day of the Lord. Joel 3:13, “Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. 14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.”

Now is the time! Awake you mighty men! Go now and snatch precious souls from the clutches of evil. Go in the power and might of the Lord Jesus Christ within you. Time is running out. We are coming near to the consummation of all things. Awake You Mighty Men!

Time To Make A Change! by Myra Boozer

Jesus spoke openly to the world, in the synagogues, the temple, on the mountain, on the river banks, at the well, or in a home, wherever there was a need. He spoke to the known world during His thirty-three years on earth, especially the last three years. He spoke with boldness and authority given to Him by His Father. The call was given and many followed Him, although Jesus pointed out those who outwardly appeared righteous unto men, within they were full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Those kind of people were going about, as usual, causing division and opposing the Truth of God's Word, and it is still happening today. People who have their eyes on other people instead of the Lord will be hindered and sometimes throw in the towel. This is not an excuse for not following the Lord, but many use it.

Today many hearts are closed with "Do not disturb signs" when it comes to receiving God's Word. It appears many are driven by society to deny that God even exists. Many are stubborn and rebellious rejecting the Holy Bible as the Word of God, denying that it is written by men as they were inspired by the Holy Ghost. Many are skeptics, doubting the virgin birth of Jesus and doubting that He arose from the dead. Others may say they believe, they just have no "POWER" to live a life of submission to the Lord. This is a reproach to the Name of Christ.

This world is getting further and further from the Truth of God's Word. The time is urgent for those who know anything about the Lord Jesus Christ to make a strong commitment. It is time to make an altar and carry everything to the Lord. If you feel you have been playing church, it is time to get serious. If you have been calling on the Lord only during 911 situations, it is time to refocus and rededicate your life. If you have put Jesus Christ on a shelf and just pull Him down when someone else is talking about Him, it is time to make a change.

Jesus is getting ready to split the Eastern Sky, to take His children home. He is coming for those that are looking for Him. He wants to be your constant friend, one who walks with you and talks with you. He wants to carry your burdens and lift you above the turmoil of this wicked world. He wants to set you free from the bonds of religion and have a personal relationship with you. Matt. 10:37, “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” Time To Make A Change!

The Revelation Of Jesus Christ!

Galatians 1:9, “As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

The Apostle Paul is recounting his own personal experience to the Church in Galatia. He is emphasizing the powerful nature of his revelation of Jesus Christ and the subsequent effect of that revelation on the message he has preached and is preaching. He received the authority to preach the Gospel directly from Jesus Christ Himself! What we all require is a revelation of Jesus Christ!

If we are to share in the revelation of Jesus Christ, we will require the assistance and nurture of the Holy Spirit. What God has purposed will require the power of the Holy Spirit to totally change or transform this fleshly tabernacle into a spiritual habitation for Himself. The revelation of Jesus Christ is to welcome Him to take charge of our lives, uninhibited by our human limitations, to be a living, breathing, walking vessel filled with the Holy Spirit.

Transformation is a complete or major change in someone's or something's appearance, form, etc. This process begins for us with the first step to salvation which is repentance. Acts 3:19, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” This is only the beginning of our new life in Him and there are still yet times of refreshing coming in the Body as Jesus reveals His purpose in us.

Peter was addressing the Jewish unbelievers regarding their rejection and crucifixion of Jesus, their Messiah. This comes after the healing of the lame man at the gate of the temple. The people marveled at this act. However, Peter said, you did what you did through ignorance but God revealed His coming through the mouth of the prophets and that Christ should suffer and die. Therefore repent of your ignorance and sinful disobedience and be restored. Through this message, God was giving them another chance for redemption. Repentance is not only a change of mind but a change of heart, a total transformation of the spirit-man. Then and only then will Jesus Christ be manifest in us.

Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” May the transforming power of the Holy Spirit reveal the Lord Jesus Christ in us!

The Spirit Of Anti-Christ! by Myra Boozer

1 John 4:3, “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

This spirit of anti-Christ is roaming throughout our world today. Many are accepting it and going along with its evil schemes. Do you ever just get sick of this world with all the evil and corruption. It is very difficult to know if the news is real or fake news. Truth has fallen in the streets. What do we believe and who do we trust.

There is so much hatred coming forth from a society that wants to live a lifestyle they have devised. They want nothing said about going against the Word of God and His principles of living decently and respectable in this present world. So many are seeking a lifestyle without God or His influence. They seem to have been delivered over to this anti-Christ spirit, accepting every lie and fantasy. They consider themselves to be free to do, say, or act any way they desire and no one has the right to speak against it.

The world is becoming more and more anti-God, anti-Church, and also anti-American. America, where many have put their hopes for their future, for a secure life with family and friends. America is a place where dreams come true. Not anymore! We have no promise that it will get better, only worse. Sin is raging and evil will abound! The hearts of many will be hardened by neglect, pride, and selfish desires. They will not have time for TRUTH. They have no time to bow before our maker and give Him due respect or love. They have no time for obedience to God’s Word.

God still loves and yearns for all souls to come to repentance. The cross was a horrible sacrifice for Jesus but He gave Himself willingly. He suffered for our Salvation, for our Healing and our Home He has gone to prepare. All the provisions He has made will be useless to the person who has no time for Him and His plan for their life now. Only the one who takes time to open their mind and their heart to His precious tugging will benefit from the place that He has prepared. All must open their heart and listen to His voice, follow in His steps and obey His directions. Those who don't will go away into everlasting punishment but the righteous into life eternal. Matt. 25:46, “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” Amen!

God's Judgment Is Certain!

Revelation 3:19, “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

God’s judgment doesn't suddenly come upon a person or a people without warning. In the Old Testament, when people walked in rebellion or strayed from God’s leadership, He always sent His Prophet to warn them of the consequences of their error and give the opportunity for correction and change. God showed them where they had wandered from His path and gave them the choice to repent and return to Him. But, He would always inform them of the consequences of their disobedience.

God uses the same principle today. He will warn us and give us the opportunity to make the necessary corrections. He will show us where we missed the mark. In the midst of our situation, we can trace the problem back to a failure on our part, a place in our journey where we made a wrong choice, where we took the wrong path. God, having revealed where we have come up short, will give us the choice to repent and return to Him or suffer the consequences of our disobedience.

God is good and His mercy endures forever to bring salvation to all who will obey. Psalm 106:1, “Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. 2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise? 3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times. 4 Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;”

God’s desire is for the world to observe how He loves those that will come into a loving, obedient relationship with Him. It is God’s desire also to show the world how He will deal with disobedience. Even in our blatant rebellion, His heart yearns for communion with us. We have not fully understood God's plan for us, if we did we would not pull back.

When the seeds of disobedience are sown they will bring forth fruit in due season. In the midst of our rebellion, He wants to save us for His name's sake. But, you can be sure that whatever we sow will come forth in the time of harvest. Galatians 6:7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”

You may feel trapped where you are and not where you want to be. Jesus will set you free from whatever holds you fast. Call out to Him. He will deliver today! God’s Judgment Is Certain!

From Where I'm Sitting! by Myra Boozer

From where I'm sitting...
Sin and evil are about to explode as a Volcano...
And my world is calm from where I'm sitting...
But the war is raging and lives are torn...
My heart cries out for their deliverance...
Deliverance from calamity, torture, and pain...
The days of sorrow, they are multiplying...
As I am calm from where I'm sitting...
I come, I go, I do as I please...
My heart cries out for their deliverance...
Deliverance from calamity, torture, and pain...
I live, I love, I long for deliverance...
Sin and evil are about to explode...
It will no longer be calm from where I'm sitting...

Getting Ready To Leave? Or, Getting Ready To Stay?

Hebrews 11:8, “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.”

Your answer to this question will determine your eternal destiny. Will you assimilate into a world system governed by carnal man or the Kingdom of Heaven governed by God? The two are as different as light and darkness. Man’s ways are not God’s ways and God’s ways are not man’s ways.

In recent years we have heard many world leaders speak of the globalization of systems and nations. Globalization appears to be the dominant worldview. It simply means the development of an integrated global economy marked by free trade, free flow of capital and tapping into cheaper foreign labor markets. Finance is the driving force behind most organizational entities in all the world. Money is power and power is money! However, there is much more at stake here than money. To be a world player, one must be prepared to make concessions. You cannot expect to hold one hundred percent to your ideals and values and still participate successfully in the global economy. Presently, the powers that be are colluding together and many are bowing to the promise of financial power.

We are not citizens of this world! We were not created to function in this environment that engulfs all of mankind. We are created for a better world and for a much greater purpose than what this world can offer. We were made to walk with God in the midst of His creation in the cool of the day. We were made to share in intimate relationship with God so as to share with Him in intimate communion all the days of our lives. We were made to be free from all the human encumbrances that sin has brought upon this world.

We are not citizens of this world! We are citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, we must distance ourselves from the worldliness that seeks daily to invade our lives. Manipulation is of the devil. A spirit of control is orchestrated by Satan. People in leadership roles can easily be influenced by the desire to control the outcome. God is the only true standard and His Will is the only blessed outcome! (continued tomorrow)

Do You Believe In The Power Of Jesus? by Myra Boozer

Mark 9:23, “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”

When we believe the Word of God something happens to us. We are changed! We become a new person with a brand new perception of everything. We see things in a totally different way. For instance, when the Word speaks of life we know that through Christ we not only have this life here on earth but we can have Eternal Life with Him in heaven. When we see the word death we know that nothing can separate us from Him, not even death...for He lives in us and we are alive in Him...even when our physical body has given up this life...We are with Him, to live forever in the place He has gone to prepare for us.

When we believe that Jesus was crucified on the cross of Calvary for our sins...that He died and was put in the tomb but on the 3rd day He arose...we know and understand that we too will one day arise from the grave or be caught up together with Him in the clouds to be FOREVER with Him.

When we believe in the Power of Jesus to heal the sick, to raise the dead, to feed 5,000 with 5 loaves of bread, to open the blind eyes, to make the deaf to hear, to pay the taxes with a gold coin taken from a fishes mouth, to calm the storms by speaking to the waves, to make the lame man walk again. Wow, when we BELIEVE this...when We REALLY believe this We should be able to REST assuredly that ALL will be well with us...that nothing touches our lives that He is not aware of or that He can't handle. Because we believe in the POWER of JESUS we can REST and REJOICE. He is the same yesterday, today and forever... REJOICE AND AGAIN I SAY REJOICE...

The Bride Of Christ Will Be Rapture Ready!

Hebrews 9:28, “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

The Bride of Christ will be rapture ready but we will determine our individual participation. Only those who are looking for Jesus will see Him at the Rapture. Therefore, we must be ready, watching and waiting. Rev. 3:3, “Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.” Jesus was speaking to the Church at Sardis, the Body of Christ at Sardis. His instruction is to be ready and watch!

The Scripture teaches us that the end times will be filled with chaos. In the midst of all the turmoil, all the shaking stands the Church, the Body of Christ. The Church is the vehicle chosen by Christ to carry the Gospel to the world. The hope of this world is Jesus Christ as He is manifest in and through the Body of Christ. Jesus will equip and empower His Body to rise up in His Name and do great things even in the midst of darkness and evil. He will preserve the Church until she has completed her mission in the earth and then He will rapture her away.

The Lord Jesus will preserve His Bride through all the unrest and destruction coming upon our world. However, Satan will do all within his power to divert our attention away from Christ’s mission. The efforts of the enemy must be thwarted and his uncontrolled exercise of influence inside the churches must be curtailed. Therefore, the Body of Christ must be joined together in an undivided resolve to bombard heaven with prayer, seek for and embrace the anointing of the Holy Spirit and thrust forward in the unbridled power of obedience in the Holy Ghost. The days ahead will call for unprecedented allegiance to and trust in the promises of Jesus Christ.

The Bride of Christ will be looking for and anxiously awaiting the Bride Groom. The Bride of Christ is made up of all believers. Therefore the Body of Christ is composed of individual believers all over the world. When the Rapture occurs all true believers from everywhere will be caught away regardless of church affiliation. The Body of Christ will be ready. The Holy Spirit will make sure of that.

The purging prior to the appearance of the Bride Groom will ensure that the Bride has made Herself ready. Eph. 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Through the Word and by the Spirit, The Bride Of Christ Will Be Rapture Ready! Are you ready and watching for His appearing? “...unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time...”

Change My Heart, Oh God! by Myra Boozer

I love this song, "Change my Heart oh God make it ever new. Change my heart oh God make it more like you." It is also a great prayer. Isn't His Grace Amazing? To think that He would forgive all our sins and cast them far, far away in a sea to never be remembered. Just makes me cry when I think how my mother taught me many years ago about the love of Jesus. This love also takes away our chains, the things that seem to hold us captive and make us a prisoner. His love says NO MORE BONDAGE!

This love is so unending and still so amazing after all these years. I trust it to take me on the rest of my days, however long they may be. My mother also taught me how to cook, sew, clean house, take care of babies and much more. However, the best things she ever taught me was that Jesus loves me and died on the cross for my sins. She taught me to love others as myself, to be forgiving and to pray about everything. She taught me by example, which is the most profitable way to teach.

So. I must share this news with your today. Jesus loves YOU and died for YOU. You too can be set free from all the struggle, from all the guilt and shame, the chains that bind, the things that pull you down and make your life miserable. They can vanish in a moments time when you humble yourself and allow God to raise you up in His Holiness. For He is Holy, Righteous, and Pure.

He wants to hold you in His big arms today and make everything new. JESUS LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER KNOW. Put your trust in Him. He is your deliverer and He will fight your battles. You don't have to struggle any longer or carry the guilt of sin. Just surrender to the one who created you, loves you and died for you. He wants to give you life everlasting and peace for the journey until that Day. His love is so Amazing, so rich and free. He is so full of compassion and great mercy. When all around you is crumbling and falling away, Jesus will not fail you. He is your steady ROCK, your firm FOUNDATION and soon Coming King!

We Must Have God's Direction For This Hour!

We need to know God in such an intimate manner that He can give us the specific instructions that we need for this hour. Now is the time to pray and seek Him for individual direction and instructions for the Body of Christ. We cannot afford to delay or be negligent in this task. There is far too much at stake. The salvation of those we love and influence is at risk. How shall we escape if we neglect this great salvation? Time is short! Our deliverance is at hand!

Romans 13:11, “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. 13Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. 14But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.”

We continue to fight the battle between the flesh and the spirit. However, if we are to be successful for God we must position ourselves where we can hear and receive His counsel. I hear the chatter, chatter, chatter of the diversions of this life. We must cry out to the Lord Jesus Christ that He will empower us to stay focused on His plan. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we must quiet the diversions!

The world around us can be overwhelming at times, especially in the current state of world affairs. If we focus on current events alone, we will become discouraged, depressed, and defeated. But when we allow the Holy Spirit to teach us how these events fit into prophecy and the end times, the uncertainty of our future is eliminated. We can move into a relationship with Christ where the spirit and physical realms connect in the perfect plan of God.

Write the vision and make it plain so that he who reads it may run with it. It is crucial that the message is shared, but how can I best accomplish this task? Ask the Lord to open doors to the venues of His choice and desire. Make a lifelong commitment! Lord show me the way and I will walk therein. You lead and I will follow without question! We Must Have God’s Direction For This Hour!

We Have A Patrol! by Myra Boozer

I found a five-year memory about our granddaughters...At that time the oldest was almost seven and the other one four and a half. The older one went out on the patio just ahead of me and Emme. I should have known that was a mistake in her eyes. We had taught her to not go out alone. This brought about the question of the day. "Nana who is going out with Delaney?" I replied back, “we are...in just one minute.” She looked up at me and with much authority said, "She needs a patrol." I thought well the backyard is fenced and the doors on the back are glass. We could see her. I felt confident she was safe. But there was a great concern for her sister's well being. We didn't tarry long and we were right by her side.

As a child of God, we don't have to ever feel alone. The word tells us He will never leave us or forsake us. Another great promise is Psalm 34:7, "The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them." We have a patrol! we have someone watching over us. Thank you, Lord!

In the wee hours of the midnight the angels can be felt as we remember what the Word tells us. It is wonderful to know that God doesn't need to be reminded where we are. He does, however, need us to believe that He has all things under control. He knows us by name and knows exactly where we are geographically and spiritually. He knows our every need. Psalm 34:15, "The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry." Psalm 34:17-19, "The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all." We just need to remember, He is our Father and He always wants what is best for His children. Yes, we have a patrol! We are not alone!

Wake Up!

Romans 13:11, “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”

We are living in perilous times. We are instructed and encouraged to be aware of the times we are living in. And, correctly observing the times, we should be motivated by the Holy Spirit within us to be about our Father’s business. Our salvation and the coming of Jesus Christ is nearer than when we believed.

The admonition here is “to awake out of sleep.” This passage seems to indicate an insensitivity to the effect of sin. The preceding verses deal with the Law, its purpose, and limitations. The Law was a schoolmaster designed to mend the relationship between God and man. But, the Law could not deliver from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:3, “For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.”

Therefore, in Jesus Christ, the sentence of death rendered because of sin, is forgiven and erased through the shedding of His blood. That is the message of the Gospel declared by the New Testament Church. The challenge set before us in Romans 13:11 is to embrace the Gospel message, the power of the Holy Spirit that accompanies the Word of Truth and declare Christ’s message to all the world. Our mission is more crucial now than when we first began because time is running out on God’s calendar.

1 Cor. 7:29, “But this I say, brethren, the time is short...” In this chapter, Paul gives instruction pertaining to our mission and the encumbrances of the flesh. He directs us to live according to our calling and give God preeminence in our lives because our time is short.

1 Cor. 15:34, “Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God...” The question for us today is, “are we going to embrace God’s Truth which leads to His righteousness or seek something less than Truth which leads to sin and sin’s punishment?” Time to Wake Up!

Thank You For My Advantage! by Myra Boozer

The path I took this morning led me to read in the first chapter of 2 Corinthians, verse 3, "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort: Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God,” KJV. This is a powerful word. Thank you, Lord!

When I went to a New King James version to read the same scripture, I came across a wonderful short story in The Inspirational Study Bible by Max Lucado. Here is a brief review of the story.

Every morning the school bell rang the children arrived very reluctantly...they came on time but never early except for one young girl. She would come to help the teacher get ready for class...she would also stay late and dust the erasers. She was very fond of the teacher and sat close to her, taking in all she could from the lessons. One day as the teacher was dealing with unruly and inattentive students, she used the girl as an example...’Why can't you be like her? She listens. She works. She comes early and she stays late.’ A young boy spoke up from the back of the room. In his quick to respond manner, he said...’It isn't fair to ask us to be like her.’ The teacher wanted to know Why? The boy then didn't feel so bold as he shrugged and said, ‘She has an advantage.’ The teacher said, ‘And what's that?’ ‘She is an orphan,’ he almost whispered and sat down.”

Now, this spoke to me as I continued to read. The boy was correct. She did have an advantage. In the eyes of the world, she was an orphan, alone with no name, no future, no hope. But she knew that school was better than the orphanage. She knew that she appreciated that more than the other children and she considered it very special and was very thankful. She loved the teacher and the time she spent in school. I think because the world otherwise held nothing for her, her tribulation was her advantage.

The world in its self-absorbed lifestyle doesn't have time to come early and stay late at the feet of Jesus. Nor does it have time to do any work for the Lord to show its appreciation. I see myself in this little girl. I was so much in need of love, acceptance, a safe place to be me. Without the Lord being my teacher and my guide, where would I be? I too have an advantage! Every test, every trial or heartbreak is an advantage when it leads me to Jesus. Jesus is the Master Teacher. I am nothing without Him and His plan for my life because this world is not my home. I do not belong here. I have no desire for its fame or it's fortune, no desire for great achievements or fellowship with the world. Thank you, Lord, for loving me. Thank you for my advantage!

Our Salvation Is Near!

Romans 13:11, “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”

We must understand the task that is before us! The weight of our mission is insurmountable apart from the inspiration, revelation, and anointing of the Holy Spirit. We cannot finish what Jesus began without a visible, recognizable, Holy Ghost discerned spiritual awakening! We must actively solicit participation within the Church and fervently seek God for an “end times” spiritual awakening.

My very soul cries out, “Lord, send Your fire among us! Burn away everything that is unlike You! Reveal to us anything that is displeasing to You!” Let us call out to God with the Psalmist in Psalm 139:23, “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Lord, help us to see ourselves as You see us. And give us the desire and strength to make the necessary corrections.

I pray that God will pour out a holy desperation in the Church to fulfill His plan in this hour! Are we willing to be shaped and molded as a vessel that God will choose to use? God can use whoever or whatever He chooses when He chooses. He has utilized various elements in creation as it has served His purpose. He has used animals, birds, fish and even inanimate objects like a staff or a piece of wood. He has even used some of us when it suited His purpose. But, we need to be so hungry to be used by God that He will invent occasions to use us. That He will see our desperation to come along beside Him and fulfill His Plan in this hour.

A Pentecostal level spiritual awakening will require a restoration of the power of the Holy Spirit in our churches. May the Spirit of God bring about a hunger in our congregations that He can birth Pentecostal revival as in our history. Revival that will change us and our families, move our communities and affect our nation. We must have Divine intervention in this hour! If we will seek Him according to His will, He has promised to answer. 2Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” And again in Luke 11:9, “And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

We need Divine intervention. However, we must desire His help and welcome Him when He comes. It’s time to pray like our future depends on it! Because it does and the future of everyone within the sphere of our ministry! IT’S TIME TO PRAY!

What Should We Be Doing Until The Lord Returns? by Myra Boozer

In Matthew, the 25th chapter, Jesus gives parables that could help us to know what should be a priority for the child of God. First, He tells of ten virgins and at midnight the cry was made, "Behold the Bridegroom cometh." He tells us five were wise and five were foolish. Now, what was it that made them different? It was their lack of oil. Five ran out and asked to borrow from those five who had oil. The wise had to answer NO. This shows us we cannot give away what we have. Each person has to receive for themselves. When they couldn't borrow they had to leave to find more oil and the bridegroom came while they were gone.

In verse 10, "And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were READY went in with him to the marriage: and the door was SHUT." This makes me think of Noah and the Ark...God shut the door to the Ark when it was time and that was all that went in. There will be no allowances for the procrastinators, the lazy, the apathetic or the careless. We must be WISE and be filled with His Spirit, as the oil represents the Holy Spirit. We must be watching and waiting. We must stay the course! No playing around, running here and there, doing other things that can so easily beset us. The wise virgins stayed near the door...and when the bridegroom came they were READY. So, we must constantly be Watching for His Return and Listening for His sound.

Matt. 25:13, "WATCH therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." My heart says, it won't be long until we hear the sound...Lord help us to be full and overflowing with Your Holy Spirit, Ready to leave when You Return.

Jesus Will Return When The World Least Expects It!

Matthew 24:44, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

Today, we stand at the door of a grand endeavor. That is to prepare for the appearing of the Son of God, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. Our challenge is to make ready the bride to be united with the bridegroom. She must remain chaste, pure and undefiled. The external forces in our world are pressing in upon the boundaries of holiness and righteousness that are concretely established in God's Holy Word. The ideals of a carnal theology have infiltrated the pulpit and diluted the faith that was once delivered to the saints. But the Holy Spirit is the sustaining force within. He will lead and guide us into the Truth of His Word.

There are many voices claiming to speak for God. Although God uses human vessels to share His message, we must know God in an intimate relationship so we can hear directly from Him. The Holy Spirit and the Word will teach us the Truth. The Holy Ghost will help us to understand the events we are seeing take place in our world every day. When we read God's warnings in His Word and see the events around us lining up with the Word, we must conclude that we are living in the End Time and approaching the culmination of all things. The Body of Christ will be ready and be waiting. The world will not be prepared! Which group do you fit in?

I Long To See You, Jesus! by Myra Boozer

I long to see You Jesus, high and lifted up in Your Glory, in Your wealthy prominent estate. For You are rich in Royalty and flow with Grandeur. You are covered with the precious Anointing of Your Father as he said, "This is my Beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." There is no name above Your Name for You are the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I long to See You, Jesus!

But first I saw You differently. I saw You as one cast down upon a stone, crushed as an olive. There You gave forth the healing balm to all who believe in You.

I saw You being stricken with great ridicule and yet You were humble and You never lashed back.

I saw you being mocked and despised by those that had little or no regard for who You are. But, you said not one word.

I saw You cast aside as a foreigner by those who once loved You and called You Lord, yet You still loved them.

I saw You forgotten and forsaken by those of Your own Household. You still called them Your people.

I saw You betrayed, stripped of Your robe and beaten without mercy, hung on an old rugged cross and left to die, mocked and ridiculed. I felt it was all because of me and my sin. Yet, You could have called ten thousand angels to release You.

Yes, You were held a short season by those who were blinded by their doctrine, traditions and selfish motives, those whom God allowed.

The same is happening today. Many are blind and they do not see the evil doctrines and hideous acts they are condoning, pushing You completely out of their lives. Many are cold, heartless and rebellious. You are still calling out to them in Your Mercy.

You are being crucified afresh, tortured by the heathen and they see You not. For You are the Son of God and they are blind.

They give You no esteem for being who You are. They cast You down and consider You useless to them. They consider You powerless and weak, crumbling under their rejection of You. They seem to despise what You represent...Holiness...Truth...and Life Everlasting.

One day in the future, "That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:10

Lord, I am captured by Your love for mankind, that You suffered and died for all who would call on Your Name. You went through much agony for us to be with You one day. I see You Strong and Mighty...full of Righteousness...High and Lifted up...Coming in Splendor to receive unto Yourself Your chosen Ones...Those who call You Lord...Those who are willing to die for You if need be...I Long To See You, Jesus!

What Does The Immediate Future Hold For Us?

What does the immediate future hold for all of us? Paul wrote to Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:1, “...in the last days perilous times shall come.” He describes a time of mass corruption and a breakdown of law and tradition, times of danger, of persecution and of trial. Truly these are desperate times but the party continues in the world as they appear to be oblivious to the judgment coming upon us. The Bible tells us that as it was in Noah's time so shall it be at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Matt. 24:38, “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,”
In spite of Noah's warning, this verse describes the reckless way that the people went on their usual course, pursuing their pleasures with doom hanging over them. Life continued as though nothing was amiss. The world was on a collision course with the judgment of God because of sin and disobedience. God gave them warning and opportunity to repent but they laughed at the message and mocked the messenger. For 120 years God left the door of redemption open but when time (God's time) was up, He closed the door to salvation.
Matt. 24:39, “And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

The people of Noah's day “knew not until the flood came.” They did not recognize the signs of the coming judgment. Their attention was upon their own carnal pleasures. Flesh was the driving force in their lives rather than care of the soul.

The Lord Jesus assures us that similar recklessness and unbelief will be found at his coming. We are living in the day that Jesus talked about. The conditions in our world parallel those of Noah's time. The general attitude toward the last days message is that of unbelief and a false security that refuses to heed any warning. Life continues as though nothing is amiss. Mankind continues to seek his way of life which is focused on selfish, carnal desires. He lives in pursuit of another enticement that will thrill the senses. All he sees is the momentary pleasure, the temporary highs. He doesn't see that he is sowing carnal seeds that will be brought into judgment. Our world is on a collision course with the judgment of God. The whole of mankind is reaping the seeds of sin.

Noah's ark was set in the middle of their daily lives. You might say it was like an elephant in the room. How could they walk around it every day and still ignore the message of God? It sat before them as a visual reminder that God's judgment was coming. They looked at Noah working every day but refused the message of salvation. Why did they do that? Because they were driven by the temporary pleasures of this life. They could not accept that anything could change what they perceived to be in their future. God made believers out of them but it was too late when it started to rain. The door to their salvation had been shut by the hand of God. No one could open it.

Just as God brought judgment in Noah's generation, He is in the process of doing the same in our world. The greatest failure of a man is to exclude God from his life. You can allow what is to come to do the work of conviction and repentance to accepting Jesus in salvation. Or, you can continue in your own way, failing to heed God's warning, and suffer the same destruction of Noah's day. Judgment is upon us. We will reap what we have sown. Hear Jesus' voice today, repent and be saved!!!

The Only Remedy For Sin Is Repentance! by Myra Boozer

I have felt the need to post on the subjects of sin, conviction, and repentance this week. “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. Evil is running rampant in this world but also in many churches. The toleration of sin is a mockery of God's holiness and majesty. It is a mockery of the shed blood of Jesus on the cross." This is from a post by David C. Cooke, “Quit Calling Sin a Mistake.” It is strong, powerful and cuts to the heart of the matter, but it is Truth. The world is not hearing much truth these days.

Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Titus 2:11, "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.”

Better to know the truth than to believe a lie and be lost. Jesus own words in Luke 13:3, "Except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish." The Word of God has been so watered down! So much of the Word has NOT been preached to this generation, which has led us to where we are today. People just pick and choose whatever they want to believe because there is a smorgasbord of doctrine out there. There is ONLY one Way and it is the BIBLE way, and we are not free to change it to our liking!

We must seek God with an honest heart and know His Truth. It is what will SAVE us in the end. And time is running out! The clock is ticking and the midnight hour is almost here. Just listen to the news. Prophecy is being fulfilled. We have a Savior who wants to make us pure and holy and acceptable in His sight. We must surrender to His call and walk in His approval if we want to go to heaven. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." We need to stop calling sin a mistake. The only remedy for sin is repentance!

Our Faith In God Is Steadfast!

2 Chronicles 20:20, “And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. 21And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. 22And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. 23For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.”

The enemies of Judah rose up against them. Through prayer and supplication, King Jehoshaphat and the people petitioned God for His intervention. They placed their faith in God and He came to their aid ensuring them that “the battle is the Lord’s.” What they needed to do was follow His instructions. Their faith remained steadfast in the Lord God Jehovah and He delivered them without a single skirmish. The enemy destroyed themselves!

The future is uncertain but our faith in God is steadfast! Time is passing swiftly as all of creation is marching quickly into eternity and God’s judgment. What lies before us only our heavenly Father knows. God knows where He is going and where He wants to lead us. He knows what He desires to happen in our world today. Paul exhorted the Church to pray for all men everywhere that they might lead a peaceable life in godliness and honesty. God’s desire is for all men to be saved. 1Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”

Come And Sit Among Us! by Myra Boozer

Lord, would You please come and sit among us?

We long for more of You and Your Righteousness.

Rain down upon us Your loving kindness,

For we stand today at your mercy.

We need Your message of Truth and Grace.

Bring to us Your revelation of the New Day Dawning,

The Day of Your soon appearing, when You step out on the clouds to call us Home.

Open our eyes to a greater understanding of what it actually means to be Your People, a chosen people, and a Royal Priesthood.

May we be ready when You shall descend from heaven with a shout, and with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God...calling us to come up to where You are.

Lord our hearts are open to Your Spirit and we long to be in Your presence. Please come and sit among us, refresh us, revive us, renew us and restore us to our first love. For You are coming for Your Bride, the one You Love and the one who loves YOU...

Where Do We Go From Here?

As I observe the current conditions in our world, I am stirred in my spirit with a renewed desire to sound the alarm and call all men to be accountable before our Creator. Many are living their lives today as if they are not accountable to anyone. However, the Bible tells us that the deeds of this life will follow us into eternity. Ecclesiastes 12:14, “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”

How does this declaration of Judgment fall upon us at this late hour? It all depends on our response to the call of Christ. Where do we stand in obedience to the commission of the Lord Jesus Christ? Are we concerned with our liturgical duties and the ritualistic process of religion? Or, are we concerned about having a real and intimate relationship with our living, loving Savior? Our future is determined by our response!

Jeremiah lamented the future state of Judah in Jeremiah 8:20, “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.” He saw through the prophetic that they would languish in sorrow as a people who had failed to reap the spring or summer harvest. God had presented them with the opportunity to repent and return to His provision but they insisted upon holding to their false gods. They had to make a decision and that decision would determine their future.

Much in the same way, I lament the future state our nation and our world seeing that mankind as a whole has refused the gift of grace in Jesus Christ. What does the immediate future hold for the world, this nation, the Church and each individual? God alone knows what is ahead and only He can position us where we really need to be. However, we must come to Him now in repentance and submit our will to His.

Where Do We Go From Here? The choices and decisions we make now will determine where we go in the coming days and the impact we will have on the world around us. “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” John 4:35

What Drives You? by Myra Boozer

Have you ever asked yourself, “what causes me to do the things I do and say the things I say?” Do you feel it has to do with the place you were born and raised? Did your neighborhood have a great influence on your behavior and your outlook on life? Does it come from the way your parents nurtured you...or failed to nurture you? Were you greatly impacted by the things you learned from them and your relatives? Or, maybe your greater influence came from your education, the things you learned from teachers or professors.

I believe all these relationships affect our lives in either a positive or negative way. I feel the people in our lives have such an impact on the way we desire to pursue life and become the person we have become.

I attribute my standard of conduct and my choices for life come from my own personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ! The Holy Spirit drew me to my knees in repentance for the sin that was passed down to me from Adam and Eve. I was greatly convicted of my sin. I became aware I was a sinner and I needed a savior. It came from a praying Mother who taught me about Jesus from as far back as I can remember. It came from Sunday School, Vacation Bible school and from Church Camp. The preaching and teaching of the Word has had such an impact on my life. For that, I will be forever grateful.

Something drives us all to believe the things that we believe and say the things we say. Wherever we got our belief system, we must search the scripture to see what God's Holy Word has to say about the matter because that's what counts. It is the Word that has stood the test of time and it will stand for all eternity. Each one of us will be judged by the Word. Not my ideas, not my thoughts, not my opinion or the opinion of any other person but God will judge us by His Holy Word. Jesus himself spoke these words in the book of John 12:48 "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day."

What Lies Ahead?

God knows what He wants to happen in our world today. Every living soul is posed with the decision of whether to heed the leading of God or to choose an alternative. Many are struggling to define God’s purpose and will for today while others are literally giving their life’s blood in the name of Jesus. All over the world, every person has that choice and God’s Spirit is striving with us all. But, it shall not always be for the Bible says, “...My spirit shall not always strive with man...” Genesis 6:3.

God is dealing with all of us, urging us to follow His path. For some, God will make His presence known in a very strong and profound manner. For others, it may be less conspicuous. However, God will expose the world to His influence and every person will make the choice to follow or not. Thereby, we choose the course of our lives and the inevitable end of that choice.

The leaders of governments will make decisions today that will bring them and their system of government more in line with the justice and rule of God’s law or their decisions will put them in opposition to God. It is called “anti-Christ” and the leaders of nations are making that choice today. Those choices will put them on an inevitable collision with the judgment of God. Many have already made their choice and are suffering the pains of Divine judgment.

Our heavenly Father knows the way that we should take. Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” We must walk close to Him so He may convey His direction to us. He will direct our steps if we will hear and obey His voice. John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” Our relationship must be such that we will hear and willingly consent to His guidance. He will lead us! He will be all that we need Him to be! He will never leave us nor forsake us! If we put our faith and trust in the Lord Jesus, it’s not so important What Lies Ahead!
