I Long To See You, Jesus! by Myra Boozer

I long to see You Jesus, high and lifted up in Your Glory, in Your wealthy prominent estate. You are rich in Royalty and flow with Grandeur. You are covered with the precious Anointing of Your Father as he said, "This is My Beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." There is no name above Your Name because You are the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I long to See You, Jesus!

But first I saw You differently. I saw You as one cast down upon a stone, crushed as an olive. There You gave forth the healing balm to all who believe in You.

I saw You being stricken with great ridicule and yet You were humble and You never lashed back.

I saw you being mocked and despised by those that had little or no regard for who You are. But, you said not one word.

I saw You cast aside as a foreigner by those who once loved You and called You Lord, yet You still loved them.

I saw You forgotten and forsaken by those of Your own Household. You still called them Your people.

I saw You betrayed, stripped of Your robe and beaten without mercy, hung on an old rugged cross, mocked, ridiculed, and left to die. I felt it was all because of me and my sin. Yet, You could have called ten thousand angels to release You.

Yes, You were held a short season by those who were blinded by their doctrine, traditions, and selfish motives, those whom God allowed.

The same is happening today. Many are blind and they do not see the evil doctrines and hideous acts they are condoning, pushing You completely out of their lives. Many are cold, heartless, and rebellious. You are still calling out to them in Your Mercy.

You are being crucified afresh, tortured by the heathen and they see You not. You are the Son of God but they are blind.

They give You no esteem for being who You are. They cast You down and consider You useless to them. They consider You powerless and weak, crumbling under their rejection of You. They seem to despise what You represent...Holiness...Truth...and Life Everlasting.

One day in the near future, "at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:10

Lord I am captured by Your love for mankind. You suffered and died for all who would call on Your Name. You went through much agony for us to be with You one day. I see You Strong and Mighty...full of Righteousness...High and Lifted up...Coming in Splendor to receive unto Yourself Your chosen Ones...Those who call You Lord...Those who are willing to die for You if need be...I Long To See You, Jesus!

Sunday Is Coming!

Luke 24:21, “But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.”

The period of time from the crucifixion of Jesus to His resurrection was a trying time for His disciples. The disciples were dejected and depressed because they had believed that Jesus was the one to “have redeemed” Israel but this “is the third day since these things were done.” Jesus had taught them that He would go to Jerusalem and there He would be killed. But He also taught them that He would be raised on the third day. Jesus had revealed the plan of God to them. However, they were so consumed with the dying part of the revelation that the enemy had stolen the most important part, the resurrection. This was the day of their salvation, redemption, and victory but they could not see it...yet!

These disciples had gone through all the emotions of losing someone near and dear to their heart. The first emotion was denial, the absolute disbelief that this could be happening to them. All the signs appeared to point to Jesus as the Messiah. How could they have been so wrong about Him? They had experienced the intrusion of life-altering doubt, a crippling doubt that would cause them to question all things previously discerned to be settled. How could they ever trust their emotions and discernment after suffering such a debilitating loss? They had dared to love and trust so deeply that their lives would be forever changed by this experience. God's plan was proceeding on schedule just as Jesus had prophesied. But they could not see it! The disciples were looking at the circumstances. How could they understand the revelation that Jesus was the Son of God and miss the prophecy of His death, burial, and resurrection?

The resurrection revelation was soon to come because this was the third day. The season had arrived but the hour had not come. God's plan is always on schedule but as Jesus' disciples found out, we must move into the realm of faith to preserve our convictions until the revelation comes.

The Body of Christ is suffering in a season of extreme trial and tribulation. “...though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:” 1 Peter 1:6. However, the hour of our deliverance is at hand. We must be so drawn to Him that when the circumstances say no to the revelation that His faith will arise in our hearts and preserve us until it is time for the fulfillment of the promise.

May God help us to have the spiritual fortitude to walk with Him until the hour of His revelation. 1 Thess. 4:16, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” Sunday Is Coming!

Struggles Are Necessary! by Myra Boozer

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 41:31

I have been thinking about struggles lately, maybe because I have had a few. I came across this story and it helps put things into perspective. Maybe it will help someone else.

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no further. So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon.

The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that at any moment the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It was never able to fly.

What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

SOMETIMES STRUGGLES ARE EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED IN OUR LIVES. If God allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could be. We could never fly! Lord, help me to not doubt the path you have chosen for me because you are working ALL things for my good, even in the struggles.

This life is full of struggles but one Day, and it may not be that far away, we are going to hear that trumpet sound and our wings are gonna open wide, lifting us right off this earth to meet our Lord in the clouds. We will be so glad we endured whatever we had to endure to make us strong in the Lord. I'm gonna lift my hands until I reach Heaven...a sign of surrender to the Almighty One and also a sign of adoration to OUR KING. Struggles Are Necessary!

God Will Make A Way!

Tonight, as I contemplate the conditions that exist in our world, I am reminded of how really important it is to believe in a living God who wants to be intimately involved in my life. And, He wants to be involved in your life in the same way. Actually, He desires to be involved in every detail of each and every life on the face of the earth.

Presently, people are dealing with very difficult situations and circumstances all over the world. Humanity is in a crisis. We have come to a place where we need to know the solution to our dilemma. We need answers to stabilize this volatile environment.

I don’t know how you are feeling right now but I can imagine the varying levels of fear, confusion, frustration, and helplessness that many are experiencing. Our future doesn’t appear too promising if you only look at the current conditions in our world. But there is a solution to each and every problem that we face. God will make a way! Jesus Christ is the Way Maker for every person, community, and nation that will call to Him for help!

A good example recounted in the Bible comes to mind. You find the story in the book of Jonah about the great city of Nineveh. God was preparing to destroy the city because of their wickedness. However, God sent Jonah there to warn them. Jonah went throughout the city, from one end to the other telling them that God would destroy the entire city except they repent of their evil ways.

When the King heard Jonah’s warning he declared a time of prayer. He put off his royal garments and clothed himself in sackcloth, covered his head with ashes, and knelt before God in repentance. The King led the way and the whole city repented before the Lord God. God spared the city!

During the time of our present crisis, we are being admonished to Pray. Our Christian leaders, Clergy, Pastors continue to call us to prayer. It is truly time to pray, falling on our knees, crying out to God for our deliverance. 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

God has brought us to this place to give opportunity for all who will call upon His Name to be saved. This is the dividing line and all who have a desire to know God will move toward Him. But, those who don’t want to have any part with Him will move further into darkness. It’s time to choose! It’s Time To Pray!

You Are My Strength! Strength Like No Other! by Myra Boozer

Psalm 22:19, “But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.”

Father God, I come to You in humble adoration for what You mean to me. You are my strength like no other. When the world comes crumbling down in front of me, when the enemy tries to flood my thinking with fear about the day in which we live, You Lord, come and hold me in Your arms of great comfort. You sooth all my doubts and calm all my fears. You hold my head up so I can breathe.

Lord, You know where we are and what is going on in this world. It does not take You by surprise because You have been here already. You are the beginning and the end! You are the everlasting and the glorious future.

I stand in awe of Your great power, Your love, and Your mercy that surrounds me. I know You abide in this place. I feel Your Spirit upon me. I am honored to live my life in Your presence and have Your strong arm of protection against the enemy. I am pleased to write Your Words when they overflow the banks of my mind. I am humbled to pray for the sick as compassion arises in my heart. I am blessed by Your voice that speaks unction and direction. I am honored to be called Your Child!

Today, I am asking for a greater anointing to speak to the Nations, to speak to the world around me. I want to speak to those who have a desire to know You, to hear what You are saying through what You give me to write. But, I need the strength of Your anointing! I am helpless, I am empty, I am nothing without Your anointing! When You come and sit with me, speaking directly to my heart, something arises and I feel such love and compassion for the world and those around me that need You. Lord, we really need You, not for the moment but for always and forever!

Lord, our babies are being destroyed before their time. Our youth are being shot down by those whose minds are confused and troubled, those who have not found faith or strength from family, friends, or this society. Our families are broken because of sin, many because of sinful sexual desires that have left the family broken without a mother or a father. This has caused so much anger and hopelessness. Many children are turning to drugs, sex, violence, and a life of crime.

Our government is in a heap of turmoil because of lies and deceit. Nothing new, just the same old politics that have gone deeper and deeper into corruption. This is causing great disturbance, with many harsh and hateful words being spoken even among friends and families.

Our world is struggling because there is such division and unrest among people. Many no longer want to be a people "Under God." They no longer want to recognize You in our schools or our society. They have cast You out and are looking to their own devious ways of doing things, which brings persecution to your followers.

Today my prayer is that You will send a strong desire in the heart of every believer to ARISE with Your power and declare Your Word to a lost and troubled world. Arise and declare a Word for the hour and an Anointing to break the bondage that has such a great hold on the multitudes. Luke 1:79, “To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” You Are My Strength! Strength Like No Other!

Who's In Charge? Seeking God's Intervention!

2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people...then I will hear from heaven...”

2 Chronicles 7:13, “...if I command the locusts to devour the land...”

In verse 13, God offers a litany of circumstances that would warrant His intervention. In this text, the second is, “if I command the locusts to devour the land...”

In Joel 2:1, the people of God were experiencing an invasion of locust. The prophet Joel saw this as punishment for the disobedience and sin of the nation of Judah. He saw it as a literal occurrence for a spiritual deficiency. The locusts were very real and had a very real consequence upon the lives of the people.

Joel refers to 4 types of this plague, locust, the palmerworm, the cankerworm, and caterpillar. The Hebrew words mean shearer, swarmer, lapper, and devourer. They literally destroyed the vegetation and grains preventing the function of life and worship. No fruit, no corn, no wheat, no figs, pomegranate, palm tree, or apple. No meat offering and no drink offering.

This calamity had a devastating effect on their daily lives. It affected both their livelihood and worship. It changed their way of life.

Like Joel’s plague, evil forces have invaded our land in much the same way. These evil forces are anti-God and anti-Christ. They have manifested themselves through political entities by deception, hatred, greed, and discrimination. The powerful are intending to force their agenda and control of the less powerful. Like Joel’s plague, these evil forces move with impunity throughout the land leaving total destruction in their wake. They exhibit no fear of punishment, harm, or loss. Wave after wave continues to attack the very foundation of our way of life! Yet, God has promised, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land,” 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Are we willing to do our part so God can do His part? Seeking God’s Intervention! (continued)

Prayer For Today! by Myra Boozer

Father God, send your Light that we may walk in it.

Send your Truth that we may proclaim it from the rooftop.

Send your Power that all may see your Glory.

Send your Love that we may be refreshed, renewed and redeemed.

Send your Mercy that we may be rescued from the evil one.

Send your Holiness that we may we washed clean.

Send your Deliverance that we may go free.

Send your Freedom that all will rejoice and dance in the streets.

Send your Son that we may be taken away in the twinkling of an eye...to be where He is, forevermore...Amen!

"Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace." Luke 1:78-79

My God,YAHWEH Is Awesome!

You are mighty Oh God in the midst of your people. Who can stand against Your beloved as You dwell among them? How Great and Mighty You are, Your Wonders ready to perform. Is anything too difficult for You? “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” Jeremiah 32:17. There is nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing that God can’t do. Put your faith and trust in Him today!

Psalm 46:1, “...God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.”

Living In Splendor! by Myra Boozer

Do you ever wonder about the home the Lord has gone to prepare for you? Will it be a villa by the beautiful sea or a chalet in the mountains? I don't know what it will be like. I sure don't need to have anything fancy. I can just hang out by the crystal sea and sit on the beach for a long time. Then, I can come and visit you in your new home and we can talk about all the things that we don't have time to talk about down here.

Oh, we will not talk of our insecurities, our lack of trust or hope or any of our sickness. The bills will all be paid, no talk of politics, or the school system...no talk about what is going on next door or the way the people are treating little children...abandoning them and leaving them on the streets and even aborting them before they are born.

No talk of all the shootings and robberies and the vulgar filth that is on the TV and the movie theaters...No talk of drugs, alcohol and abuse...or talk of drama, and fake people, no talk of the Grammy Awards or any worldly status.

No talk of needing goats to send to the needy...no talk of needing clean water for little thirsty children. We will all be happy, healthy and completely whole, living in the splendor of a Righteous God who will feed us from His Throne forever and ever.

" In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know." John 14:2-4

The Dreams Of My Life Refocused! Conclusion

We must plan for the present with the end in view. We set our goals in life always thinking of tomorrow or later. I realize that there are things in life for which you must plan. It is best to prepare for college and career, marriage and family, retirement, and final things. But, it is so very important to keep the finish in mind, always! A correct understanding of the final things in one's life will keep everything else in proper focus. Then we understand that our vision of the finish will determine how we respond to every relationship in life. No matter what decision or choice we may face, the final things will bring a correct perspective to the matter. Ecc. 12:13, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”

Therefore, life's choices are governed by our vision of final things. We realize that we live our lives in the present tense. We are planning for tomorrow by the way we live today. That will not only affect our lives but also those who have been given into our care and those who share our sphere of influence on this journey.

Now, getting back to my little gray squirrel (see post for 3/26/21). His creator has given him an innate sense to gather and store provisions. I am sure that what appeared to me to be a frantic search was normal for him. That's the way squirrels are because God created them that way. You and I are created to live on a much higher plane. If God gives an animal an innate sense of provision for his life, God has done so much more for us. The problem comes when we fail to communicate with Him. My little squirrel has an automatic system built into his consciousness for his provision. We are created higher than any other creature in God's creation. We were made for a relationship with God and each other. Our relationship requires communication. If we fail to communicate with God, we cannot receive instruction for our provision.

If we are listening to God, He will instruct us in His plan for us today. He will help us to understand that we live His will today so that we are in His will tomorrow. If we follow Christ today, we have no need to worry about tomorrow. Our life and future is secure in the grace of Jesus Christ.

2 Tim. 4:7, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”

Treasures Of The Heart! by Myra Boozer

Proverbs 2:1, “My son, (or daughter) if you will receive my words and treasure my commandments within you, 2 Make your ear attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding; 3 For if you cry for discernment, lift your voice for understanding; 4 If you seek her as silver and search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will discern the fear of the LORD and discover the knowledge of God.” NASB

The things that I love and hold dear to my heart are just borrowed they're not mine at all... Jesus only let me use them to brighten my life...So remind me, remind me, dear Lord. The words of an old song hold true today. I have loved and held many things close to my heart. I have had so many blessings and material goods. No, I am not wealthy compared to some. But compared to others, I am. I have had my share of the comforts of life, not extravagant things but enjoyable things. Some have been very useful and some just pretty to look at and some just plain and simple little treasures. But, things are just that, they are “Things.” Things can be replaced if lost or stolen. They are disposable and transferable. They are things.

Sometimes things get in the way of what is important. They can become too meaningful and take our time and energy away from what really counts. I am learning to lay them down. Day by day they are losing their value to me. I have been letting them go from my heart for some time now because I will not take them with me. They have served their purpose thus far and I am very thankful for all I have been given to enjoy along the way.

I have always tried to keep my head straight as to how I spend our money. I have tried to be saving and practical, you know the bargain hunter kind of person. But even at a bargain, the “things” you have can become a part of you. You become familiar with them and they sometimes become “treasures.” They may not be worth much to anyone else but you. They are special to you.

Well, I have had lots of those special things hidden away in old hat boxes or the dresser drawers and in closets, even under the beds. Things I have saved from our only little boy, baby clothes, little cars, and things he saved thru the years. Things that make you smile, like a costume I made him for his 1st-grade play, pictures he drew of his house, family, and the neighbor's dog. The dog stayed at our house because he loved it so much. You know “treasures” that I don’t plan on throwing out but my heart is letting go.

I think I understand the purpose is for letting go. It isn’t wrong to have things but it is wrong for things to have us. When what we have and what we do is all about things and we just want to live on and on so we can secure and protect our treasures, we need to release them. There are no U-hauls going to heaven. I don’t want the tears that are wiped away from my eyes to be about the “things” I have accumulated. I will leave all that behind.

1 John 2:15, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world...” I am letting go! The greatest treasures I have are My precious Family, My Relationship with the Lord and My Understanding of His Word. I celebrate the fact that He died, that I might live and that has nothing to do with “things.” That is my greatest treasure! And, that my friend, I must hold on to for ever and NEVER LET GO. “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also,” Matt. 6:21.

The Dreams Of My Life Refocused!

Matthew 16:26, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”

(I wrote this some time ago on a wet, dreary day, inspired by a little gray squirrel). As I sit looking out my window, I observe nature at work in my world. The rain is falling at a steady pace and a gray squirrel is running from place to place appearing to be searching for food he has stored. His work must continue whether sunshine or rain. No matter what the weather or circumstance each day brings the same responsibility and need for provision and survival.

We have a lot in common with my little squirrel. We rush at a hurried pace from place to place searching for whatever we perceive to be the needs of life. And we do that for the entirety of our lives. We rush through our childhood wishing that we were older so we can participate in the games of life. Whether it is to attain the age of 13 to be a teenager, or 16 to get a driver's license, on we go experiencing the magic of age, graduating high school and maybe college.

We hurry through those magical years thinking that by “obtaining” our lives will be fulfilled. We find a mate, get married and start a family. We are so very busy learning how to be a companion, parent, and provider, thinking that life will slow down at some point and we can begin to enjoy who we are and what we do. So, we rush through the early family years thinking that when the children get older, or we land that perfect job or we achieve this or that all will be “better” and we can slow down and enjoy the life we have created.

And, before you know it the children are all grown up, have chosen mates, and have started families of their own. Then we rush through the grandparent years helping our children and grandchildren to do the same as we have done. We are rushing through time achieving, thinking all along this journey that at some point we are going to slow down and enjoy the life we have created for ourselves and our families. However, We must plan for the present with the end in view. (continued)

God Of Hope! by Myra Boozer

I love the word HOPE! Without it where would we be? I have noticed when I focus on my own abilities I start to doubt but when in the presence of the Lord, my HOPE seems to grow. That says to me that my HOPE needs to be in the right source. My Hope cannot be in myself, our President, our government, our money, our church, or even our family. JESUS CHRIST is the only SURE source of Hope!

"Now the God of HOPE fill you with all JOY and PEACE in believing that ye may abound in HOPE, through the power of the Holy Ghost," Romans 15:13. The words, "that ye may abound in HOPE," are very important for me today and every day. The word abound means to be plentiful...to be rich in or to teem with.

The God of Hope, the source of Hope can fill us today with Hope, Joy, and Peace in BELIEVING. Not that we will just have a little hope, but that hope will ABOUND in us. That we would have plenty, be RICH in and that we will TEEM with (meaning to be prolific, producing much fruit). When we team with God, we (us and God) will produce much more HOPE.

I AM SO GLAD I KNOW THE GOD OF HOPE! On my own I am NOTHING, but He is EVERYTHING, and with Him, I am filled with HOPE TODAY.

God is able to bring HOPE into your life even if everything seems hopeless. Trust in the Lord and don't look at your circumstances because they usually produce doubt. Psalms 39:7, "And now, LORD, what wait I for? my hope is in thee." This tells me there is nothing else besides the Lord for us to put our TRUST in because He is our God Of Hope!

Don't Back Away From The Mountain Of God!

Exodus 19:17, “And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. 18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.”

We don't need to back away from the mountain of God in fear of His presence! Jesus has become our mediator and God wants us to walk with Him in our daily lives. He wants us to share His presence in our daily walk through the person of His Holy Spirit.

The Israelites recoiled in fear at the manifest presence of God on Mt. Sinai. They had witnessed the power of God! But without faith to trust God, His presence created fear. They had seen with their own eyes what He could do. So, God placed a boundary at the foot of the mountain and they were instructed not to approach the mountain. The Israelites had to communicate with God through a mediator. God gave His instructions to the Israelites through Moses. What made Moses different from the rest? He trusted God! He was willing to leave the things that he didn't understand in the hands of God.

We have no need to be fearful and afraid. Jesus became our mediator with God when we accepted His sacrifice at Calvary. Because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, we have the boldness to draw near to God and through our mediator, Jesus, we bring our petitions to Him! He invites us to come boldly before the throne of grace and make our petitions known to Him. This is a very important attribute of our relationship with God and it is becoming increasingly more crucial with the passing of every day. The revelation and leading of the Lord is absolutely indispensable today and in the days to come.

Go back to the beginning! The beginning is the revelation, the vision, the dream, the communication of heaven. John 1:1-18 is the revelation of Jesus as the unmistakable Son of God. God would have every generation experience Divine relationship with Him through faith in Jesus Christ. One attribute of that relationship is revelation and guidance. He will remove all barriers and obstacles for all who will repent and believe.

What is the foundation of your revelation, vision, dream, or Word from the Lord? Your future depends upon your revelation. Is your life built upon Jesus Christ and His Word? Matt. 7:24, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”

We look at the condition of our world and know that we are living in perilous times. But, it is going to get worse. We don't know exactly when Christ is coming for His Church, but we do know that the conditions around us are going to get progressively worse. The foundation of our revelation must be Jesus Christ! Don’t Back Away From The Mountain Of God!

The Enemy Is At The Gate! by Myra Boozer

I believe the enemy is at the gate. He is like a roaring lion seeking to devour whomever he can. If there is anyone thinking of becoming a warrior, IT IS TIME! If anyone is thinking of giving up, turning in your armor, backing out, and running scared, IT IS NOT THE TIME! We have too much at stake, our lives and the lives of those we love dearly. Who would not fight for those they love? Stand in the strength of the Lord. Let not your heart be troubled! For the child of God, the battle is almost over. The King is about to call the Warriors and all those who love Him to come up higher!

Who Left The Gate Open?

John 10:12, “But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.”

The hireling has left the door open and the wolf, Satan, has entered in and made havoc of the flock. However, we cannot continue down this path. We must rise up in the power of the Holy Spirit and take back what the enemy has stolen. You might ask, “what has he stolen?” He has taken our families and our homes. He has taken our schools and educational systems. From there he has taken control of our local governments, state governments, national and international governments. Over the period of the last few decades, Satan has moved God out of these institutions and governing bodies and he almost does at will what he wants when he wants. Except for the “Restrainer!”

2 Thessalonians 2:6, “And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”

God is still in control and His Spirit, the Holy Spirit is still restraining the full-blown take over by Satan and his world of darkness. That time is coming and is quickly approaching but God will determine when!

At present, we are in the battle of our lives as we stand against the evil that has been unleashed upon our world. What we are experiencing did not come about overnight. This has been in the making for decades. The Wolf, Satan, has moved quietly but intently among the flock doing his treacherous work. But, his work has taken on a new level of intensity because he knows he only has a short time to work.

There is a monstrous storm gathering and is even now forming into a catastrophic event. Those who can’t weather the storm will be broken off! There will be casualties in the ensuing conflict. We cannot allow ourselves to be driven by the winds of this world. We must know the TRUTH and stand upon the TRUTH. Ephesians 4:14, “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;”

The days ahead will require that we have and maintain a real experience in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our faith in Him will be put to the test and even now has become more intense. You can feel it in your spirit! This is all an attack by Satan and his demons from hell. But, greater is He that lives within me than he that is in the world.

We must maintain a healthy connection to Jesus Christ. Jesus said Himself, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing,” John 15:5. All our strength comes from Him. If our relationship in Christ remains vibrant and healthy, He will sustain us through any storm. Otherwise, the storm will break us and we will be like so much discarded refuse! God have mercy upon us!

We Are Not Destroyed! by Myra Boozer

Have you lived at this address recently? ll Corinthians 4:8-9 "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;"

Verse 17- 18, "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory: While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal" Amen!

All Christians will suffer something at some point. We live in a fallen world and sometimes the prince of the world (Satan) will throw you a curveball just when you feel forsaken by a friend or loved one. You know those days when the unexpected comes, like the central unit can't be fixed any longer and you need to get a new one...or when the nail in the tire can't be fixed and this calls for 2 new tires...when the doctor says your A1c is just not good enough and you need meds. We all have those days of trouble but take note we are not in despair, not forsaken, not destroyed. These things are light afflictions and sometimes they can bring something good to our lives...for one thing, they keep us humble if we allow them to. They also help us to see the hand of God and how he makes a way when we think there is no way.

These things we go through are preparing us for the road ahead to help make us stronger in our Faith. As our Faith grows, we learn so much about the all-sufficiency of our Faithful God. We learn he has a plan and if we will put our trust in Him, we will see there is no need to be troubled, distressed, or perplexed. When we work with Him, when we commit our ways to His ways, we realize We Are Not Destroyed but blessed. Amen!

It's Getting Late!

Ephesians 5:15, “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. 18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”

Every day and hour previous to this time has been intricate to the plan of God and instrumental to our success in service to Him. However, many times we have needed to return to God and ask Him for a “do-over.” The outcome of our plan didn’t turn out the way it was supposed to or we failed to follow through with our plan for some reason. Whatever the circumstance, God has given us a second chance to get it right. We usually have had the opportunity to do that.

We have come to the threshold of eternity and we may not have time to go back and fix things as before. We need to get it right this time! I’m afraid we might not have a second chance. How many people do we pass in a day's time never to see or influence that person again? What will happen to them if no one else steps into their lives to inspire them to follow Jesus Christ? They will hear the Gospel message in some form or fashion but you just lost the opportunity to make a difference in eternity for that person or persons. We cannot afford to be negligent in being a good steward of this time.

In Ephesians 5, Paul is instructing all who would be accepted of God to follow Him as children of God. Paul goes on to state that believers are to walk as children of light. Previously, we were walking in darkness, but now we are light in the Lord. Therefore, live as children of light to shine in the darkness to direct the way of others. He said, “walk circumspectly,” or carefully knowing that our lives, our testimony will affect those around us. The response of others will depend on how we have responded to the Gospel and let Christ transform our lives.

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Make the most of the time God has given us knowing that when that moment has expired it is lost forever to eternity. Evil is ever-present to resist the Gospel but the love of Jesus Christ is much stronger. Darkness is ever-present and will increase as we draw closer to the end but His Light shines even brighter in the darkness. Let Him shine through you! It’s Getting Late!

Be A Faithful Watchman! by Myra Boozer

It seems the weathermen are kinda like the prophets of old and of today...warning us...telling us what is taking place and what is about to happen...telling us when conditions are favorable for "Disaster." When the people heed their voice they are usually safe. If not, they may suffer days of hardship even death.

The prophet only knows in part and prophecies in part. You see, God is the Sovereign One. He is above all others for He is God of heaven and earth. I do know that He makes decisions that are sometimes based on what people do. If the people pray He listens. If the people repent, He forgives. If people seek restoration, He restores. When people humble themselves, He heals their land. If they don't, the only alternative is spiritual death.

I think the hardest job ever is to be a watchman on the wall, to be the one that has to share the bad news. "Trouble is coming! Wake up and get Ready, Jesus is Coming! Judgment is at the door." The watchman knows he must do his job and declare what he sees coming. He also knows it is ALL in the hands of our Sovereign God as to when these things take place and where.

Habakkuk 2:1-3, "I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."

Don't be afraid to stand your watch and share what God has shared with you from His Word. But be warned, 2 Peter 3:3-4, "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation."

Don't grow weary in well-doing. "Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee," I Timothy 4:16. Be A Faithful Watchman!

Empowered To Finish The Kingdom Work!

Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

Are we willing to allow the Holy Spirit of God to fully possess our mortal bodies and be transformed into vessels of His Presence? God is looking for willing souls given to His service and the completion of His Kingdom work! However, we must empty ourselves of self-will and submit to being poured out as the anointing oil of His Presence upon a sick and dying world. Jesus came to save that which was lost and He still wants to save and deliver lost humanity. Can we allow the Holy Ghost to invade our minds, our hearts, and souls and reveal to us our role in His Divine Will? Are we willing to wrestle with the conflict within us as Jacob of old until God brings our deliverance and empowers us to finish His mission here? (see Genesis 32)

Can we sincerely pray this prayer? “Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy upon us today. In this frail mortal tabernacle, we strive to become the best that we can be. Possess this clay vessel and make it unto honor and glory for Your Namesake. Fill us again and again with the nectar of heaven that we may be poured out, emptied in the perpetuation of the Gospel and building up of the Kingdom of God. Refresh us in the power of your Spirit that we may be strong, resilient, and victorious. Capture our minds, our hearts, and our souls and hold us in reserve to your Divine purpose and will. Constrain us to entertain your presence and your voice until your revelation comes. May we be like Jacob, engaged in heavenly warfare until your deliverance comes to us. Pour into us your strength, your courage, and your faith. Sustain us in this present conflict with the manna that only you can provide. Walk with us today instructing us and guiding each step we take. Open our eyes to what you are doing and where you are going. Anoint us that we may go with you to the consummation of all things and time without end. In Jesus' name! Amen.” Empowered to Finish The Kingdom Work!

I Can Only Imagine! by Myra Boozer

Oh Lord, how my heart does sing when I hear Your people worship in song. It is a glorious feeling to be brought into Your presence. Your love captures us and we are taken away by Your spirit, taken into the heavenly realms of rejoicing and praising Your Holy Name.

One day we will stand in Your presence and bow at your feet. We will be free from all of the thoughts that try to rush in and steal our admiration of YOU!

We will be without any restraints. We will have no hindrances. We will have no reservations. It will be a time of jubilation, a time of exaltation! What Joy will flood our mind, our body, and our soul.

This mortal body cannot imagine what Glory we shall experience when we see You face to face. "Will we dance before you Jesus or in awe of you be still?"

It will be an event like we have never experienced. So, we can only imagine what it will be like to stand before You in Your Glory.

I will continue to think on this day and prepare my heart to be still and just rest in the mystery of what Eternity will bring.

"Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted. For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted. For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our King," Psalm 89:15-18.

Whatsoever You Will Ask!

John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

To abide in Jesus is to carry His name. To carry His name is to carry His presence. The Bible says, “how can two walk together except they agree.” If we truly walk with Christ, we will embrace His Truth. Then, we can agree together with Him concerning His will. Matt. 18:19, “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”

There is power in our coming into agreement with Jesus Christ just as His agreement with God, the Father! His one accord with the Father opened the windows of heaven to Him and our one accord with Him will do the same for us. He has all the resources that we will ever need.

The power of heaven contains unlimited possibilities to those who will trust and believe! There is power to break every chain. Power to live for Christ and walk in unbridled victory, free to flow in the Spirit and experience His presence from glory to glory. He leads us up, higher and higher into His Majesty. Having been exposed to His glorious Light we will never be the same.

We are changed in His presence. We can never be the same once His glory has shown upon us. We are changed forever and He has planted such a desire to reach higher. His presence is so addictive that no sooner than you walk away, you have an unquenchable need to return. And we can return again and again. There is no limit as to the glory we can experience in His presence.

Simply come to Jesus in obedience and submission and He will carry you to heights previously unknown. He will reveal to you truths you haven't understood and emotions you've never experienced. But, most of all He will reveal Himself to you and in you so that the world around you can see Him and be touched by Him, “that the father may be glorified in the Son.” Whatsoever You Will Ask!

Come Up Higher! by Myra Boozer

Lord Jesus, push back the darkness that is coming against every child of God. Lord, please help us to delight in your Light and your never-ending Love. Set our feet on a clear path and give our minds and hearts a deep understanding of who you are, our creator and the Father of all mankind! You love like no other. You are our constant friend who will stand by us when the whole world is sound asleep. You are never far but always near. You come, and call us to come up higher, high above the sad and the gloom that tries to hide your love from us.

You call for us all to open our eyes and see all your beauty. You call us to know you by name, and recognize your loving voice. You call us to hold your hand and know that you are our Protector. You pick us up and carry us when we can no longer walk on our own. You are the one who rescues us when the winds of evil blow across our path. You wipe our tears and wash our faces. You reassure us of who we are, and who YOU are, Our Loving Father. You will never leave us and never forsake us as You invite us to Come Up Higher!

Lord, What Would You Have Us Do?

Acts 9:6, “And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.”

Saul was on his way to Damascus with documents to imprison followers of Jesus Christ. This text recounts Saul’s response to his Divine Encounter with Jesus on the road that day. Saul had his own objective but God had a different path planned for him. It took a Divine Revelation to change him and the direction he was going. Confronted with the Presence of Jesus Christ, his response was, “Lord, what would you have me do?” We would do well to seek God for the same attitude of submission that we could proclaim, “Lord Jesus, what would you have me do?

God, help us to yearn for Your Divine Presence and the Revelation of Your Truth! Lord Jesus, open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to hear Your voice today! We need a revelation of Your plan. We are not seeking an understanding by this mortal flesh. We are seeking the Divine revelation of the Word of God. The same revelation that the Old Testament prophets experienced as they walked in obedience and depended upon the impartation of Your instruction and anointing to bring the relevant Word from God to the people of God. The same revelation that the New Testament apostles experienced as You called them out and set them apart to be Your voice for Your message to a world in crisis, lost, and without hope except for Jesus' sacrifice.

Holy Spirit take charge of this mortal flesh! Lead us along the correct path to receiving God's revelation and understanding of His Word relevant to where we are today. We are not seeking insight built upon human understanding because that is empty and fruitless. The revelation of Your truth surpasses all human understanding and is far above this world's knowledge. The hope of our heart and our soul's desire is to receive and impart Your truth. Your truth delivers the sin-sick soul, frees the shackled, and heals the wounded heart. Lord, revive Your Word afresh in our souls and lead us to those in need! Lead us Lord and we will follow where ever You open up the door! Lord, What Would YOU Have Us Do?

Put Jesus First! by Myra Boozer

We are told in the Word..."But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things will be added unto you," Matthew 6:33. You know "all these things" that we all pursue on a regular basis, jobs, so we can pay our bills, buy food, have shelter, and wear clothes. We all desire clean, organized homes with a great meal prepared for the family in the evening. Not to forget the beautiful lawn with flowers and a nice clean car to drive. Then there is entertainment and of course relaxation because we are exhausted by the end of the day. These things are not wrong but they can lead us on a collision course if we are not careful. We usually come to a quick STOP and then we cry out, "Lord, where are You? Come and come quickly because we are in great need of YOU. Yes Lord we need YOU, not tomorrow but right now.”

I have heard people say, "God has GOT to do something" and do it quickly. But remember He is giving us the formula in Matthew 6:33. Even with following the formula, bad things can still happen to anyone but during those times we KNOW He is "working all things for our good" because we are His. We have not forgotten "that no weapon formed against us shall prosper." We hold to every promise in the book because they belong to us as God's Children.

I saw a post with someone speaking about giving ourselves an option. When you set your clock you can set it with the snooze control which gives you an option to either get up or lay there until the next alarm goes off. He said the Lord spoke to his heart and said, "as long as you have an option you will use it." But with God, we do not need to think we have an option. It must be Jesus first and foremost in our lives. Our desire must be to Seek Him First. The other things will come.

There are many times during the day to talk to the Lord. As you desire HIM, you will find ways to talk to him and about him. Carry a worshipful attitude in your heart all day long. I remember a dear saint telling me, "to pray without ceasing is to pray while you work." I want to be up and about my Father's business and I sure don't want to be snoozing when the trumpet sounds! Put Jesus First!

A Revelation Of Our Future!

Ephesians 5:17, “Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. 18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

God wants to use you wherever you are if you are a disciple of Christ. God needs and wants individuals who are willing to serve right where they are. However, we must have a revelation of our future and where God wants to take us today. There is so much that the Lord wants to reveal to us if we will only position ourselves spiritually where we will hear Him. How does He want to manifest His glory in your life today? Who does He want to bless through you today? Whose life is He going to change for eternity through you today?

In Ephesians 5:15, Paul admonished his hearers to walk diligently or to be engaged, not being foolish, but wise. The original word for “wise” is “sophos” which means “skilled.” Paul is admonishing us as hearers of the Word to walk diligently or be engaged by the Holy Ghost and by the Spirit be wise or skilled in forming the best plans and using the best means for their execution. It is time to lay aside all our plans and ask God to make us part of His plan.

Paul said in verse 16, that we should make the best use of our time, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:18, “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.” We must allow the Holy Ghost to have His freedom to do God’s work in us. We can’t be distracted by the carnal environment in the world. Be full of the Spirit! “...be filled with the Spirit,” that there is no room for carnal influence.

We must be about the Father’s business. Our time is getting short! We must walk diligently, be engaged by the Holy Ghost, and allow Him to form in us the best plans and use the best means for execution. For that reason I offer this prayer:

Help me Lord Jesus to see Your future in me. Let me not be deterred by the noise of our secular society. There are many issues that cry out for attention but the most important ‘cause’ is still the salvation of the lost. Oh, Holy Spirit sent your convicting power among us. Awaken the slumbering souls around us. Stir our churches to be yielded to Your move. Give us compassion to stand in the gap for the lost and suffering. You know every need that exists within the sphere of our influence. Reveal those needs to the Body of Christ and convict us individually to become engaged in Your plan to deliver and bring victory to whosoever will be drawn to You. In the Name of Jesus! Amen”

Living Water! by Myra Boozer

Lord, I sense your Life-Giving Water is flowing so freely for all today...I see it sparkling in your Light with beauty as it flows from your Throne...I can hear the sounds of freedom splash against the banks...It is calling one and all to come and drink and be filled with this rich and powerful Life-Giving Source...

The call is going out to the stranger who has never seen or tasted of your True and Living Waters...Those whose god is Religion and not Salvation thru the Grace of Jesus Christ...Those who wander thru this life and exist on mere fables and theories...

The call is to the prodigal who once tasted and thrived but then decided his own path... Who has forfeited the treasures of joy and peace, that only your waters can bring, because of a seemingly better way...

The call is to the stubborn who think they have no need of you...Those who think you don't exist and insist on denying you. They accept the counterfeit water offered by the worldly system...

The call is to the churchgoer who stands in the congregation weekly, offering up praise from a heart that doesn't know you personally...

The call is to the man or woman who stands behind the pulpit who has no real connection to Your Holy Spirit. Who just reads the words from their notes and tries to make them pertinent to those who are dying from rhetoric...

The call is to the husband or wife who has lost their love for their family because of lust and desire to be with someone that belongs to another...

The call is to the youth today, those who are searching for love and acceptance...Those who are desiring family and a home where love and Truth prevails...

The call is to the addicted, those who have sold their very soul to this trap and they can't get out...Freedom is available thru the precious blood of Jesus...

This call is to the congregation of people who attend services of programs and rituals that have replaced the Word of God being preached in the Spirit of Truth and Power of Your Resurrection.

This call is to those who have lost their passion for you Lord. Those who no longer desire to be in Your Presence and feast at your table...

This call is to the deceiver and the one who is striving so hard to convince someone else that Good is Evil and Evil is Good...

Lord I pray that those who have ears to hear will hear and not only hear the call but heed the call. Many souls are thirsty in a dry and desert land...But there is a River that flows from your Throne to fill all who will come and drink of Your Water...Only Jesus can give this gift that every soul desires...Living Water!

Who's In Charge? God's Intervention!

2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people...then I will hear from heaven...”

This verse is all about God intervening in the lives of His people. God wants us to invite Him into the affairs of our lives. He loves His creation and desires to intervene in our needs. In verse 13 God offers a litany of circumstances that would warrant His intervention. In this text, the first is, “If I shut up heaven that there be no rain...” He is literally addressing a physical lack of water. However, I believe we can also apply this in a spiritual sense and spiritual water. Jesus referred to Himself as being living water and referred to all that would believe in Him as having rivers of living waters flowing out of their belly. He was talking about His flowing through the believer by the Holy Spirit to give spiritual refreshment to all who are willing to receive.

I believe that our world is in need of spiritual rain, spiritual rain flowing from the throne of God, spiritual rain consisting of the power and presence of God in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit! How long has it been since we have seen a genuine move of the Holy Spirit? I’m not talking about an exhibition of emotions or a series of religious meetings fraught with a supposed divine encounter. What I am talking about is an undeniable, unmistakable, genuine move of the Holy Spirit that affects not only our emotions but also has an overwhelming effect on the way we talk, behave and live. A work of God that changes attitudes as well as actions. A work of God that changes people, changes churches, changes communities, cities, states, and nations. God help us to lay hold on such a move of God!

For such a long time, the Church has been void of that intense, sustained, convicting presence of God. We must admit that we have walked away from God’s perfect will for us and His Church. We have become satisfied with a trickle of spiritual water when He wants us to experience a spiritual river. He wants to lead us out into the deep! He wants to bless His Church by His presence and He wants to flow out through His children by the Holy Spirit to bring His refreshing to a dry and thirsty land.

I would suggest to you that our world is in the midst of a spiritual drought. The Holy Spirit is calling the Church to bring life-giving water to the thirsty and dying souls in this world. We can only do that as we seek for and participate in God’s intervention for the salvation of lost souls. Jude said, “...pulling them from the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”

In our beginning text, after solidifying His relationship with His people, God challenged them to trust and believe in Him. He said in verse 13, “If I shut up heaven that there be no rain...” and in verse 14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Are we willing to do our part so God can do His part? (continued)

Who Will Be Ready? by Myra Boozer

Hebrews 9:28, “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

"What kind of people must we be to be ready for the return of the Lord and to enter the kingdom of heaven with Him?" There are many answers to be given. The one that stays with me so much is...We must be watching and waiting for Him (carrying out His commission). He is coming for those who are looking for Him!

We must be set apart from this world and separated from its hold on us. We must be in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ so as to want to be with Him. Not just use Him as an escape route to "get out of " what is coming upon this world in the form of judgment because of sin and wickedness. Luke tells us, "Watch out! Don't let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don't let that day catch you unaware, like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth. Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man," Luke 21:34-36 (NLT).

We must have ears to hear and recognize His voice when He gives us direction...also to hear the trumpet sound...not everyone will hear that sound. We must be ready to go with Him. The Word says to be alert, not dulled by careless living.

Do we love the Bridegroom? Are we laying aside every weight that would hinder us from being ready? Are we watching for His coming? The Truth about the Rapture gives us great incentive to deny worldliness and live holy and righteously today because He could come today.

Don't let anything sedate you. Stay watchful! This world can pull you in by its luring bait which looks all pretty and innocent but it is a trap and not easy to escape once you have bought into it. Jesus said "And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things, entering in, choke the word, and it become unfruitful," Mark 4:19. 1 John 2:15 tells us to “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” Who Will Be Ready?

Who's In Charge? Part 2 God Will Shake The Heavens And The Earth!

Hebrews 12:25, “See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: 26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.”

This reference in Hebrews 12 is looking back to a prophecy given by the prophet Haggai in 2:6-9. Haggai 2:6, “For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; 7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.”

God's promise is for a shaking of all things that can be shaken, all things earthly so that things eternal shall remain. Both point to a yet future time when all things created will be separated from those things eternal. He is looking into the future in v6-9 when He will fully restore Israel in their promised land given to their father Abraham.

The Hebrews writer gives greater clarity to this passage in Heb. 12:27, “And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” Once again “...I will shake the heavens, and the earth..,” Haggai 2:6. This prophecy points to the future fulfillment and restoration of Israel at the second coming of Jesus Christ. Haggai 2:7, “...I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come:..” Jesus Christ is the desire of all nations that should come. At the Second Advent, Jesus Christ will establish the Kingdom of God on the earth and rule from the throne of David in Jerusalem.

The shaking referred to by Haggai and the writer of Hebrews refers to a time of separation. A time when the earthly will be separated from the eternal, the good from the bad, the wheat and tares, the harvest and the chaff. The end result being the establishment of the literal, eternal Kingdom of God to be ever-present with the redeemed of God.

God is getting ready to shake the heavens and the earth one last time. I hear the rolling thunder in the distance. I see the flashes of lightning as the rain gets heavier. All indicators point to an approaching storm. Make sure that you have built upon the sure foundation. When this shaking comes, only the redeemed of Christ will survive!

Matthew 7:24, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.” (continued)

Who's Going To Tell Them? by Myra Boozer

Psalm 7:9, “Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. 10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. 11 GOD JUDGETH THE RIGHTEOUS, AND GOD IS ANGRY WITH THE WICKED EVERY DAY.” (emphasis added)

This may be hard and difficult for some Preachers to Preach. But, someone needs to tell the people if they live wickedly that God is angry. There is so much wickedness going on in our world. God is certainly not happy with them! You can read Psalms 7:12-16 and see what He has in mind for the wicked. Verse 16 states, "His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate." I thought there was an error but the word pate, according to Webster means the head, especially the top of the head. I believe it is time for REPENTANCE unless people want to meet an angry God. Who's Going To Tell Them?

Who's In Charge?

Isaiah 40:21, “Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? 22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: 23 That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity. 24 Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble. 25 To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.”

We might look at the insanity that has captured the minds and souls of the nations and the peoples of this world and wonder, “Who is in charge?” Some people may look to world leaders to solve our problems and address the issues that plague our societies. Some may trust in the strategy of their political party to persevere in this struggle to overcome adversity and strife. Still, others may trust in the power of their religion to get them through these dark times. All of these may provide a measure of limited assurance and stability in these troubling times but they cannot address the heart of the problem.

The solution to our problems goes much deeper than the symptoms of disruption that we see in our daily lives. What we observe are only the symptoms of a much deeper issue. The issue is the human heart has pulled away from its Creator and has chosen a separate path. The solution is to turn back to God in repentance and seek His intervention.

There is always hope for God’s intervention as long as there are people to pray! The devil is NOT running wild and unchecked even though it may appear to us that he is. He can only do what God permits him to do! We can take heart because God is still very much in control! However, God responds to our actions. 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” The question is are we willing to do our part so God can do His part. You Can't Forgive Yourself! by Myra Boozer

I have heard people say to a new Christian, “God has forgiven you, now you need to forgive yourself! That sounds easy enough. Have you ever tried it? I don't see myself having that ability to rid myself of the guilt. You will go around and around in circles with a sense of maybe I did and maybe I didn't forgive myself, with no real relief.

Truth is, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit," Romans 8:1. When you allow God to forgive you and you receive His peace and His acceptance, the weight of sin and its guilt is lifted off your life. You should feel a release from the "forgive yourself" statement. If not, keep praying, allow God to do His complete work in you.

With many situations in our life, we may see that we come up short in what the Word says about right living. We can either go to the Lord in repentance or we can carry guilt and listen to that nagging voice of condemnation. Our confession and His forgiveness lifts our burden of guilt! Sometimes it's not necessarily a "sin" but a feeling of failure, error, mistake, or neglect. When we don't go to the Lord, sometimes Satan uses these BIG and little "boo boo's" to DESTROY us, filling us with guilt and giving us no way out.

As the guilt grows it becomes a weight and a hindrance to our testimony, all the while some may feel, "now I need to forgive myself." There are no walls, no barriers, or barricades to keep us from the cross on any given day. We are free to fall before the Lord and tell him all our feelings, allowing Him to deal with us, correct us and cleanse the guilt that tries to destroy us. This is the remedy for condemnation.

God gives a fresh new start with Hope and a clean slate with no guilt which Satan has used so viciously against us. The fact that we must somehow "forgive ourselves" is not possible. Satan is a liar and the truth is not in him. When God forgives us, He cast all our sins, guilt, and shame as far as the east is from the west. Only the Lord can take the Guilt away. We don't have that ability...

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold all things become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17

I Am Not Ashamed Of The Gospel!

Paul proclaimed in Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:..” Paul declared boldly that the Gospel is the power of God to bring men unto salvation. The power of the Gospel is that TRUTH. That is the pure, undefiled TRUTH. It is that pure message that will set every man free who believes God’s promise and places their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Any deviation from the Truth of God’s Word will annul its power to accomplish its intended purpose in us and whoever we might affect. The only way to walk in the power of His Spirit is to embrace His TRUTH without amendment. Jesus declared to John in His Revelation 22:18, “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” It says what it says and means what it means. We must embrace His TRUTH if we are to hear Him say, “...Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord,” Matt. 25:21.

Jude is pleading in Jude 1:3, “...that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” The Holy Spirit, speaking through the writer of this passage is calling for the Church to return to the Truth of the Gospel. Jude was writing some 40 to 50 years after the death of Jesus. The Faith which Jesus taught was being diluted (not containing very much of the original message). The TRUTH which Christ had preached and modeled was missing. It was upon this TRUTH that He established His Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church, Matt. 16. It is upon the understanding of who Jesus is that He has built His Church! He is the everlasting Son of God, Savior of every believer, and soon coming King for all those that have made ready!

That is the message of the Gospel! That is the TRUTH! The power of the Gospel message is the TRUTH. Jude pleaded with the first century Church, the Holy Ghost is pleading with the present-day Church. He is saying repent and return to the Truth of the Gospel which Jesus taught and modeled. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;”

Jesus Is Always Near! by Myra Boozer

When I walk by the wayside, He is along with me...Amid all my forgetfulness of Him, He never forgets me.” Thomas Chalmers

Oh the days that I look for Him, the days I think, where are you Lord? I cry out to him, please come and fill my longings and let me know you are here. I wish I could remember that He is always near and never leaves me, but trouble overtakes me and my heart begins to break. Just for a moment my forgetfulness rises up and I too despair as Peter did over the stormy weather. Peter was walking on the water to Jesus! Wow, but the winds were overwhelming to his mind. He must have actually forgotten the miracle that was happening right under his feet.

Matthew 14:28-31, "And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come and when Peter was come down out of the ship he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. BUT when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying Lord, save me."

How many times is God making a way when there seems to be no way? But one puff of wind from the evil one blows us right off track. We must be like Peter and CRY out in our desperation, "LORD save me." We must never forget that He is ever near when the enemy starts howling and putting up a fight. We must have our mind centered on Jesus and remember that he never changes. Jesus Is Always Near! "For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5

Lord, Keep Me Safe Till The Storm Passes By!

Daniel 6:10, “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.”

The world around us is changing so fast! Everything is moving at such a break-neck speed it causes our head to spin. We must stay anchored in the Word of God! The Word is our sure foundation and by it, we will remain secure and on course.

The prophet Daniel was not so different from you and me. He lived in a time of displacement and captivity for his people. He struggled to remain at peace with his captors and remain true to the Lord God Jehovah. But, when he was forced to make a choice, he always chose God.

When Daniel knew that the decree was signed forbidding anyone to pray to any other god except King Darius, Daniel made an open show of his allegiance to God (Daniel 6:10). He went into his house, opened his windows toward Jerusalem, knelt down, and prayed. He did so three times each day and gave thanks to God as he had done before. He was persecuted by his captors for his disobedience but God protected Him. It was during this time of intense trial that God revealed prophecies of the future for the nation of Israel. The most relevant to his time being chapter 9:2 revealing the prophecy of Jeremiah that the seventy years of captivity was almost complete. One principle that we can take away from Daniel's experience is that God reveals Himself and our future in Him during times of our intense trial. It is during those times that we seek guidance and rely so heavily upon Him. He uses our faith and dependence to lead us into our future.

Daniel prayed as before! His prayer life was the foundation for his existence both present and future. When the enemy tested his love and loyalty to God, Daniel continued doing what he did every day. The die was cast and the pattern established. Therefore, Daniel held to his faith in God and God delivered him.

The substance of our life in Christ must be established before the storm comes. We must know that the foundation of our life is built upon Jesus Christ and all other ground is sinking sand. Therefore, when the trials of life test us, we continue doing what we have always done. We pray and trust God and He will deliver us once again!

Lord Jesus, help us to pray like Daniel prayed. Help us to trust like Daniel trusted. Help us to be delivered like Daniel was delivered. Thank You Lord for the power of Your promises. Direct our steps to walk in Your Word and experience the power of Your promises. Order our steps that we may walk in Your perfect peace. In Jesus' name! Amen”
