Lord Jesus, Capture Me!

Psalm 19:14, "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."

Lord Jesus, today I ask you to capture my mind, capture my heart and capture my soul. Keep me, the total me, safely in your hand. Empty this vessel of all substance except YOU. Fill me full with YOUR SPIRIT. Create anew in me the passion, power and deliverance of your VISION! Engage my total self to procure the desire of your heart through me. Fill this emptiness with an outflow of living water, creating a worthy vessel overflowing with your love, compassion and generosity. Help me to feel the hurt of precious lives that surround the place of my habitation. And thereby flow through me to aid and comfort those who are bleeding. They are bleeding-out the wonder of life because of the mortal wounds of the enemy. Help me to stop the bleeding that is draining them of the very life you give. Anoint me to bring the good tidings of YOUR Gospel to a broken world.

Oh! That your Holy Spirit in me would bind up the broken hearted. Those whose hearts have been shattered by the deceitful, insidious enemy of their soul. Lord, set at liberty those held captive, held captive by their past. Release them today from their broken dreams and failed plans. Cause them to look to YOU for their total deliverance and life in YOU. In the Name of Jesus set them free! Loose the chains and open the prisons for them that are bound. May the Holy Ghost invade the dominions of Satan with such power that the chains will disintegrate at His mere presence. May the presence of the Almighty God be so powerful that the prison doors be hurled from their hinges and these eternal souls be forever set free.

Lord Jesus Christ, I pray this day for you anointing to fall heavy upon the Body of Christ, that we walk as you walked, talk as you talked and BE as YOU ARE the LIVING BREATH OF LIFE in an otherwise lifeless world. Lord, anoint us with the message of YOUR GOSPEL that all who will hear will accept YOUR LIFE and have that LIFE most ABUNDANT. Praise to our LIVING CHRIST, in JESUS NAME! Amen

We Must Experience Holy Ghost Transformation!

What God has purposed will require the power of the Holy Spirit to transform this fleshly tabernacle into a spiritual habitation for Himself. “Transformation is a complete or major change in someone's or something's appearance, form, etc.” This process begins with the first step to salvation which is repentance. Acts 3:19, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” Peter was addressing the Jewish unbelievers regarding their rejection and crucifixion of Jesus, their Messiah. This comes after the healing of the lame man at the gate of the temple. The people marveled at this act. However, Peter said, you did what you did through ignorance but God revealed His coming through the mouth of the prophets and that Christ should suffer and die. Therefore repent of your ignorance and sinful disobedience and be restored. Through this message, God was giving them another chance for redemption. Repentance is not only a change of mind but a change of heart.

Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Do not live according to the custom or pattern of this current age. We cannot follow the example of the world community and expect to draw near to God. The customs and behavior of our world system are repulsive to God. His command is, “Be ye holy; for I am holy,” 1 Peter 1:16. And again in 2 Cor. 2:16, “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,..” A revelation of Jesus Christ will compel the true believer to desire and seek after a life of holiness. Can We Pray?

Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, today we do here and now accept your challenge to pray in travailing prayer for a world that is lost and broken. We desire the Spirit of prayer to intercede. Open our spiritual eyes and ears so we can see and hear the cries of the lost, beaten and infirmed. Teach us to understand what they are facing. Guide us to see and hear them as you do. Give us the compassion and love that you have for them so that we are inspired to join in their redemption. Lift us up in the power of Your Word being fully dressed in faith to lead the captives free. Anoint us with your power that we may speak to the mountains before us and they will be moved into the sea. Let us see the prison doors spring open at the mighty thrust of Your Presence. Help us to run into the battle with such passion that others are seized with the same fervor. I can hear the sound of mighty armies engaged on the battlefield. Can we pray? Can we go?

James 5:16, “...The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

Lord, Speak To Your Sheep!

John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” God has not concluded the revelation of His TRUTH. He is still speaking to submissive hearts and open minds. There is much that He desires to reveal to the Body of Christ, the Church of Christ. We need desperately to experience His revelation in us and through us. How does He want to implement His will in the Body and through the individual members? His plan in us will always have the greater good of the Body in focus. When we, the Body, actively seek and follow His directions, Christ is exalted, His work in the Body is confirmed and members in the Body are vindicated. May God empower us to be actively engaged in His plan and purpose, NOW, TODAY and EVERYDAY till we see His glorious return.

John 10:28, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one.” Let us purpose here and now to submit ourselves new and afresh to God's master plan. Not only for our own salvation and victory but also for the divine will and purpose of God in the earth. Allow Him to place us in the body where it pleases Him and fits His purpose. For that grand venture, we will require the assistance of the Holy Spirit. (The Message: A Critical Review Of End Time Events, p 27, available at Amazon.com).

The Light Of Your Presence!

Lord Jesus, thank you for the dawn of a new day. Now, it is time to turn to the task at hand. What do you have for me today? What do you have that I should share with others? Lord, fill me with your WORD so that the overflow is charged with redemption and deliverance. Oh! Come Holy Spirit of God and inhabit every thought, word and activity. Sanctify me afresh and the place of my habitation. Purge from the very air around me the darkness that infiltrates our world and replace it with the light of YOUR PRESENCE. I feel the intensity of the battle. The Holy Spirit within continues to struggle with the arm of the flesh, for he is ever present. Lord Jesus Christ, help me to die once again that YOU may bring LIFE and more abundantly. Help me to say with Paul the apostle that it is not me that possesses this mortal body but it is YOU that lives here.

Your reign in my life will affect the world around me for YOUR PURPOSE. I invite you to rule the environment around me. “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Come Lord, take control, lead us to the completion of our assignment here. We must share YOUR message with all men. All must have the priviledge to escape the darkness. Send forth YOUR light through the WORD of your mouth, penetrate and dispel the gross darkness that has invaded our land. Release YOUR Holy Spirit fire to burn away the obstructions that hold fast the lost souls of man. Set the Body of Christ ablaze that we burn so intensely that conviction and repentance are the result. May the light of your glory be reflected in our faces, in our walk and in our message. All to the HONOR and PURPOSE of God. Even so come Lord Jesus! Amen

Until You Come! by Myra Boozer

Until You Come,

I will search for you as a new born baby searches for its mother's milk. I will rely on you to take care of me.

Until You Come,

I will rise early and sit with you...before the demands of the day push you aside and leave me anxious, frustrated and feeling hopeless...

Until You Come,

I will wait for you with my eyes wide open. I won't allow the rushing waters of distraction to drown me...and cause me to miss your appearing…

Until You Come,

I will stay in close communion with you, waiting for your response and listening for your voice...

Until You Come,

I will sing your song of sweet redemption, your song of new life...The song of life over death... the one that brings me freedom...

Until You Come,

I will remember who you are and the price you paid for me...You purchased me with your blood and I am yours...

I will remember to whom I belong, Until You Come!

"And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart," Jeremiah 29:13.

Seek Ye First The Kingdom Of God! by Myra Boozer

If you have been listening to the prosperity preaching...you may feel disappointed because your thousand dollar check didn't come in the mail last week...I am not looking for pie to fall from the sky for my family when it comes to our personal needs and wants. But I am expecting to receive just the right amount at the right time. For God has promised us that He would never leave us nor forsake us...That my friend is what it is all about...I'm reminded of an old song...I never promised you a Rose Garden...Too many people are looking for the Abundant Life to bring them much pleasure and prosperity...That is not the Abundant Life the Word tells us about...for these things can become a ball and chain to distract, divert, and confuse you about Your Divine Purpose that God has for you alone...and that my friend is His main concern for us...OUR PURPOSE IN HIM...But Myra are you saying to desire NOTHING...NO I am saying SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND THESE THINGS WILL BE ADDED UNTO YOU (Matt. 6:23)...Do you mean I can start looking for my"thousand dollar " check in the mail...No, but you can start looking for your ALL your needs to be met according to His riches in Glory...When everything looks barren and dead...God has prepared just what you need to sustain you and take you to your final destination...HIS HOME IN HEAVEN...Heaven will be more than we could ever dream or imagine...but that is not the reason I want to go there...I want to forever be in the presence of the Lord...for that is where our soul will find rest...Psalm 23.

Conclusion, What Is This Elijah Moment?

The Elijah moment is this: God was getting ready to administer His judgment upon this wicked government. God will inform His followers of what He is up to. In His preparation to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, God said of Abraham, “...Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;” Gen. 18:17. Abraham was a friend of God. God was compelled to let him know what He was preparing to do.

God wanted Elijah to know that He still had large numbers of the faithful who had not bowed to Baal. Elijah had a role in bringing God's plan to its completion. God said, go and anoint Hazael to be king over Syria, Jehu to be king over Israel and Elisha to be the prophet in Elijah's place (1 Kings 19:17-18).

God uses whom He wills to bring about His plan! But we must have that Elijah moment!!! Holy Ghost revelation is absolutely essential in these last days. God wants to speak into our lives, into our churches and into the Body of Christ His directions for the culmination of His grand plan. But, we must position ourselves in mind, soul and spirit to hear His voice and heed His call.

What Is This Elijah Moment! Part 4

The evil influence, the cause of Israel’s idolatry had to be eliminated. Elijah ordered that all the priests of Baal were to be killed to rid the kingdom of their evil influence. Good call, right? 1 Kings 19:1, “And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword.” Jezebel promised to do to Elijah what he had done to her priests and he ran for his life. He found himself all alone hiding away in a deep dark cave but it is there that he encountered the Almighty Lord God Jehovah. 1 Kings 19:11, “And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake: 12And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. 13And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?”

There are two issues that Elijah was challenged to address. One, how could he justify his hasty retreat in the face of such a victory at Mt. Carmel? And second, could he be used of God in the future? Elijah began to justify his behavior and defend his cowardly retreat. He had been very zealous for God when the children of Israel had forsaken His covenant. They turned to the worship of Baal, having thrown down the altars of the Lord and slain the prophets of God. Elijah proclaimed that he was the only one left therefore they sought to take his life. God assured Elijah that there were “7000” that had not bowed to Baal or worshiped his image. God's command was to return to action and finish what God had started. (To be continued). May I Use This Breath! by Myra Boozer

Today's prayer... How beautiful are your ways oh Lord, Your Glory and your Good Pleasure are such a delight. I learn from the very air I breathe how vast your love is to all mankind and the creatures you have created. You blow upon this earth and we breath. Our very Life is from your Breath...it is what sustains all of us...

Lord, may I use this breath you gave to sing Praises to you Holy Name... To lift you high above the Mountains that your own breath created...for you spoke all things into existence. May my heart rejoice in your Beauty and Splendor for all of my days.

May I use this breath to call upon you in a time of surrender of my will to your perfect will. Accept my hearts cry today for I am helpless, useless and utterly lost without your Mercy...I am as one who is groping in the darkness without you...

May I use this breath to tell someone of your great love...Some do not know or else they have forgotten just how much you love them...May my breath speak your unlimited Love to all people everywhere...

May I use this breath to speak Your Truth to those who should be ashamed...ashamed for turning away from your plan for mankind and going after their own “design” for lifestyle and behavior...

May I use this breath to sound the Alarm for all those who are far from you...some who just gave up and put down their armor and others who just want to seek out an easy way, still claiming your Name...others who have fallen asleep and do not know the times in which we live...As in the days of Noah, seeing the conditions yet deny the judgement coming on all sin...

May I use this breath to speak Hope to the hopeless and Life to the dying...Peace to the restless and Joy to the sorrowful. May my words be uplifting and encouraging as I speak of your soon return for your Bride, Your Church, Your People, Your Chosen Ones...

May I use this breath to speak of your great treasures...the ones you have hidden in your Word...the hidden riches of secret places...that they may know that you are the Lord God of Israel....Amen and Amen...

In The Power Of His Presence!

Lord Jesus, thank you for allowing us to share in the glory of your presence. The freedom, the peace and the absolute marvelous deliverance is a testimony of your desire to reveal yourself to your people. It is good to dwell together in unity as one in you and through you.

Thank you Lord for bringing us into the outer court (the court of praise), into the inner court ( the court of ministry) and the Holy of Holies. In the Holy Place we come face to face with YOU and experience your person as Almighty God, Lord God Jehovah, our Creator, our constant Support and Shield, our Deliverer, our Counselor, our Redeemer, our Savior, our Lord and our God. It is there that we receive access to all we need and require for this present journey. Lord, your strength is our present help in time of need. The shield of YOUR covenant is our defense from the tormenting darts of the enemy. Truly, You are the source of our victory.

Holy Spirit, thank you for giving us a WORD from God. A WORD that is spiritually embraced and conscientiously invested. Lord Jesus, help us to let go of all things around us and every substance within us that would impede our success in YOUR cause. We do here and now accept YOUR promise of an expected end by faith. We fall helplessly into you embrace and look to you for the strength and grace to complete YOUR assignment. We open our hearts, minds and souls to YOU and without reservation do purpose to receive all that you desire to invest in us. Prepare us O Lord and fill us full of YOU! Amen

What Is This Elijah Moment? Part 3

In Chapter 18, we read Elijah's challenge to the priests of Baal. Sooner or later God will go head to head with disobedience. This was a pivotal time for the Israelis. 1 Kings 18:21, “And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.” Then Elijah proposed a contest to determine the true God. The priests of Baal built an altar and prepared a sacrifice. The God who answered with fire would be recognized as the one and true God.

The priests of Baal called upon the name of Baal from morning till noon but there was no answer. They leaped about upon the altar they had prepared but still no answer. Elijah mocked them saying perhaps he is talking, on a long journey or even asleep. They cried aloud, cutting themselves until the blood gushed out. They continued their appeal until the time of the evening sacrifice but, “there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded” 1 Kings 18:29. Baal never showed.

Elijah prepared his altar and sacrifice. Then he commanded, “...Fill four water pots with water and pour it on the offering to be burned and on the wood. And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time.” vs 33-34. Elijah prayed an anointed prayer and God answered. 1 Kings 18:36, “...LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. 37Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.” God answered Elijah's prayer. “Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench,” 1 Kings 18:38. The people fell on their knees in acclamation that the Lord, He is God. (To be continued). The Message: A Critical Review Of End Time Events, p 23-24, available at Amazon.com.

What Is This Elijah Moment? Part 2

The sins of disobedience will bring God's judgment. You can follow this principle in 1 Kings as we read about the wicked leadership of Israel. On each occasion, God spoke through His prophet warning of the inevitable result of their disobedience. In order to fully understand the gravity of the egregious behavior and wicked deeds of this period, one must be familiar with the chapters preceding chapter 17. Through them, we have a better grasp of the setting in which Elijah lived and preached.

1 Kings 16:30, “And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him. 31And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.”

This is the beginning of the reign of Ahab over the nation of Israel. Ahab was one of the worst kings to ever rule in Israel. But probably the worst mistake that Ahab made while he was king was to take as his wife a Zidonian by the name of Jezebel. She was a very evil woman who worshiped the god of her ancestry, Baal. She asserted her influence as queen to force all of Israel to worship Baal. 1 Kings 16:33, “...and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.”

Elijah's name means 'Yahweh is God.' This is significant in a time when the worship of Baal threatened to eliminate the worship of Yahweh in Israel.”10 God ordained His prophet to call His people out of idolatry and back to Himself. The man of God cannot look upon sin and disobedience and go silently into the night. The Spirit of the Almighty God which possesses him requires the man to speak. Because of the wickedness of the leadership of Israel, God pronounced a drought over the land. 1 Kings 17:1, “And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” The drought was the consequence of their sin. We know that the drought lasted for 3 ½ years. (To be continued) The Message: A Critical Review Of End Time Events, p23-24, available at Amazon.com.

What Is This Elijah Moment?

At one point during these encounters with God, I asked Him the question, “Why not until now?” At this point, I had been in Christian service for 47 years and was somewhat confused why God had waited so long to share this most important information with me. And this was His answer. “Everyone must have their Elijah moment, and must find that still small voice experience.” We must hear what God is saying. My impression was that this was my Elijah moment. Although Elijah was in the final phase of his life, this encounter with God changed his future. Here he was thinking that his cause was lost, everyone had deserted him and the battle was over but God was not finished with him. I have concluded that we are in the final season of time and the hour of our deliverance is at hand but the climax, the crescendo, the grand finale is still to come. By faith in God to inherit our promised end and obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit, we must give ourselves to the consummation of all things. God Loves You!

John 3:14, “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

Our frail human mind is incapable of fully comprehending the magnitude of God’s love for us. How can someone whom we haven’t previously known be willing to sacrifice His only Son for our benefit. Romans 5:6, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.”

When we knew not how wretched, vile, reprobate and lost we were, God had planned for our total and complete deliverance. Through the precious blood offering of His Son Jesus, the pure and spotless Lamb of God, the penalty for sin was paid. When barely for a righteous man and possibly for a good man some would dare to die, God loved us when we were still sinners. Christ died for us and we are justified by His blood. We are saved from the wrath of God as we look to the cross and believe. When the sin in us made us enemies of God we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son. We have now received life through the atonement for our sin by Christ Jesus. He died and rose again to provide our deliverance, to free us from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment.

God’s desire is for all men everywhere to be saved. 1 Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all...” God has prepared the way through the gift of His only Son. The penalty for sin has been paid. All one needs to do is repent of his sins and accept the Lordship of Christ in his life.

Lord Jesus Christ, I pray for all who would desire to be saved from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment. Thank You for paying my penalty for sin. I believe You gave Your life to ransom my life. I believe You died on the cross but You rose victorious over death, hell and the grave on the third day just as You had promised. I’m tired of my life of sin. From this moment forward, I give my life to You. You paid the ransom for my sin. I belong to You. Use me for Your honor and glory and give me an eternal home with You in heaven. Thank You for saving me! Amen!”

The Message, Sustainability Through Your Revelation! Part 4

Acts 27:33, “...Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. 34Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you...36Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat. 37And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls. 38And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.” The fast was concluded. They could take comfort that all would be saved and they were all (276) of good cheer. They continued in Faith and Obedience as they threw everything overboard to lighten the ship. They had done what they knew to do. Now was the time to allow the God Factor to bring the end to their storm. They took up the anchors and committed to the sea. Completely free of all encumbrances, completely sustained by the wind of God.

Acts 27:41, “And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves...43 the centurion...commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land: 44And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.” God's process will run its course and in the end, His purpose is secured. How many times in our own lives have we survived on the broken pieces of our ship? The storms have been strong and the struggle bitter but we have stayed with God and our end is secured!

The sustaining factor in Paul's life was his relationship with Christ and the fact that he walked in revelation and inspiration. Having an intellectual understanding of scripture can be an advantage. Passion and zeal have their place in the Gospel. And even our incomplete understanding of God's plan is a beginning that we can build upon. But the bottom line is that we must walk in the revelation of Jesus Christ if we are to experience His perfect plan for our lives. Just as Paul had his intimate encounter with Jesus, we must do the same! That is what sustained Paul and that is what will sustain us! Paul had his time of revelation as did other followers of God. Elijah is another good example of the sustaining power of revelation from God. Elijah had his moment when He thought all was lost, he was all alone and there was no hope to proceed further. We need to have our Elijah moment! (To be continued) The Message: A Critical Review Of End Time Events, p 21-23, available at Amazon.com.

Blessed Quietness!

Psalm 31:19, “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! 20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.”

My soul craves the quiet time in God's presence. In the stillness I find peace and rest. He lifts me above this world's raging storm. He quiets the winds and calms the blustery waves. He commands “peace, be still” and my life returns.

What a joy to walk hand in hand in His Majesty. For to be with Him is to share His Glory, to behold His Countenance is to reflect His Radiance. Lord, open me up, purge my soul of all that is unlike You. Pour into me, fill me up with your Divine Presence.

The Message, Sustainability Through Your Revelation! Part 3

Acts 27:21, “But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. 22And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship. 23For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, 24Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. 25Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me. 26Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.” Revelation from God ensures survival but there is still a requirement for individual participation. Three important elements of the God Factor come into play: Repentance, Faith, and Obedience.

Paul reminded his shipmates that they should have listened to him because it was more than Paul who had discouraged this voyage. It was God through Paul! How many times has God tried to warn us along our journey and we discounted the messenger who delivered the warning? But God always has the last word. We determine our outcome by our obedience or lack thereof! So, the first thing these sailors had to deal with was their decision to sail, admit that it was a mistake and be willing to change directions and follow Christ. The Bible calls this concept, Repentance. Second, they had to believe what Paul was telling them. This was the beginning of their Faith which would sustain them in the coming days.

Acts 27:27, “But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down...29Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day. 30And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship, 31Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved. 32Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.” The third element of the God Factor was that they must stay in the ship continuing to exhibit faith in the revelation and Obedience to the man of God. God's plan of deliverance included the debris of the broken vessel, the vessel that had sustained them thus far. But they had to be willing to stay with the ship until she literally broke apart on the rocks. Those broken pieces became their salvation. When our circumstances are falling apart, we must stay true and obedient to God’s command in order to be saved. (To be continued). Getting Ready To Leave? Or, Getting Ready To Stay?

Your answer to this question will determine your eternal destiny. Will you assimilate into a world system governed by carnal man or the Kingdom of Heaven governed by God. The two are as different as light and darkness. Man’s ways are not God’s ways and God’s ways are not man’s ways.

In recent years we have heard many world leaders speak of the globalization of systems and nations. Globalization appears to be the dominant world view. It simply means the development of an integrated global economy marked by free trade, free flow of capital and tapping into cheaper foreign labor markets. Finance is the driving force behind most organizational entities in all the world. Money is power and power is money! However there is much more at stake here than money. To be a world player, one must be prepared to make concessions. You cannot expect to hold one hundred percent to your ideals and values and still participate successfully in the global economy. Presently, the powers that be are colluding together and many are bowing to the promise of financial power.

We are not citizens of this world! We were not created to function in this environment that engulfs all of mankind. We are created for a better world and for much greater purpose than what this world can offer. We were made to walk with God in the midst His creation in the cool of the day. We were made to share in intimate relationship with God so as to share with Him in intimate communion all the days of our lives. We were made to be free from all the human encumbrances that sin has brought upon this world.

We are not citizens of this world! We are citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, we must distance ourselves from the worldliness that seeks daily to invade our lives. Manipulation is of the devil. A spirit of control is orchestrated by Satan. People in leadership roles can easily be influenced by the desire to control the outcome. God is the only true standard and His Will is the only blessed outcome!

God will put people of like character into the same lot together and bring them into judgment. In Luke’s version of Jesus’ ministry, he accounts for numerous parables that Jesus used to illustrate Divine principles. It is interesting how Jesus used the parable of the rich man and Lazarus to characterize the life of a believer and an unbeliever.

Luke 16:19, “There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day...”

The rich man represents an unbeliever. Not that a person has to be poor or lack possessions and money to be a believer but that the rich man allowed his possessions to stand between himself and God. The rich man had fine things IE… purple and fine linen and had a lavish lifestyle. (fared sumptuously). However, it was not the things that he possessed that hindered his relationship with God but the mindset that possessed him. For him, life was one continual party. And evidently he gave no thought to the need of others.

What is the mindset of a rich man? Jesus gives us an example in Luke 12:16, “And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: 17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? 18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. 20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.” Life, at it’s best is short. Our focus should be on completing the assignment God has given to us as His servants.

And there was a beggar named Lazarus. Luke 16:20, “And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores...” Now we see the other side of the coin. Lazarus was laid at the rich man’s porch or front gate everyday. The need was obvious. There was no avoiding the dilemma of this poor man. He was really sick with sores all over his body (probably leprosy). He had to be carried not being able to walk alone. He was probably poor because he was sick. So, why was he sick? His sickness led to his total deprivation. So, why was he sick? Could it be so that God might touch the lives of the people around him? Could it be so that God might challenge every person that crossed his path? Here was a hungry, homeless, sick brother and how many people stopped to give him aide?

Then comes the final hour! Luke 16:21, “And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.” Lazarus died and was carried by angels to Heaven. The rich man died but his outcome was much different. “And in hell...” (Hades-Greek) Parallels with the Hebrew Sheol both meaning “realm of the dead.” The inference is the eternally dead without hope or deliverance.

The two people in this parable represent two different lives, two different deaths and two different eternities. Both individuals had a choice. Though Lazarus had a life of struggle, he chose to believe in his creator. The rich man, however, chose to follow his own selfish desires avoiding the needs of those around him. Lazarus sacrificed his mortal life to inherit his eternal life with Christ. The rich man sacrificed his eternal life with Christ for his mortal life. What will be your choice? Only you can determine your destiny!

Hebrews 9:26, “...but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

In Jesus' Name!

John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

There is power in the name of Jesus! There is power to break every chain. Power to live for Christ and walk in unbridled victory. Free to flow in the Spirit and experience His presence from glory to glory. He leads us up, higher and higher into His Majesty. For having been exposed to His glorious Light we will never be the same. We are changed in His presence. We can never be the same once His glory has shown upon us. We are changed forever and He has planted such a desire to reach higher. His presence is so addictive that no sooner than you walk away, you have an unquenchable need to return. And we can return again and again. There is no limit as to the glory we can experience in His presence. Simply come to Him in obedience and submission and He will carry you to heights previously unknown. He will reveal to you truths you haven't understood and emotions you've never experienced. But most of all He will reveal Himself to you and in you so that the world around you can see Him and be touched by Him, “that the father may be glorified in the Son.”

Christ's Love Pulls Back The Veil That Seperates Us From God!

I begin this day as I do every day in the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. I see that His love abounds everywhere. Even in the areas of our world that appear to be dominated by sin. But His love is there. A love which transcends all obstacles, penetrates into the most remote and isolated crevices of life. Every area of human existence is held in the shelter of His hand.

Your need and my need is laid bare before Him. He knows where we are, what we feel and what we dream. He sees each despairing thought and feels the anguish that we feel. He identifies with every human experience and emotion that has and will touch our lives. He left His throne in glory, took upon Himself the form of human flesh so He can tell you today, “I have been where you are and I feel what you feel.” He experienced the human condition in the fullest sense yet without sin. Heb. 4:15, “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

He is saying to the whole human race, “I understand, I have made a way out. Believe on me as the scripture has said and be free.” You may feel trapped in a place you don't want to be. Give it to Jesus. He will make a way of escape for you. Trust Him! He knows the way. He is the WAY. Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Look to Him and live!

The Message, Sustainability Through Your Revelation! Part 2

Paul stated that his intention was to press toward the mark. Phil. 3:14, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. 16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.” Paul knew from his experience that Christian growth is a daily challenge. He must have looked back many times to his Damascus road encounter with Jesus. That day, Paul received a revelation of who Jesus really was. He came face to face with the Son of God, the Redeemer of Israel, his Messiah and he knew it in the depth of his soul. That encounter was, no doubt, an indispensable strength to him as he ministered for Christ. And the Lord continued to speak to him and reveal His truth.

In Acts 27 Paul had requested an audience with Caesar. He was in the custody of a Roman centurion and on his way to Rome. Acts 27:10, “And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives. 11 Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul. 12 And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, and there to winter;” Paul had a revelation regarding this journey, but the centurion chose to listen to the captain rather than Paul. Why? Because it was not convenient to winter there, they wanted to proceed to Crete. Circumstance inspired them to continue on their journey rather than give heed to the revelation by the man of God. Inspiration that is driven by circumstance usually comes out of our own personal desire and intellect and usually does not end well.

Acts 27:13, “And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete.” This again speaks to circumstance. A temporary change in circumstance can lull us into Satan's plan...v14, “But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind...18 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship; 19 And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship. 20 And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.” Three days and nights in the storm and now all is lost and there is no hope except for God! They were not including the God Factor. They drew these conclusions based on their knowledge and the circumstance. Many times our knowledge is not sufficient to draw the appropriate conclusion from our circumstance. Then we must go to God for revelation knowledge to chart the appropriate course. Have Faith In God!

Galatians 6:7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

We are engaged in a great spiritual war with the unholy forces of darkness. The scope of this conflict is greater than any we have faced before and will become increasingly more intense as we proceed. We must place ourselves in position for optimal results for ourselves and those that we can assist. Jude 1:23, “And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”

We control the outcome of our battles by how we respond to them. If we become distressed and overwhelmed, the enemy will use that to defeat us. If we maintain faith and assurance, the Lord will be our rock and fortress. How do we achieve the latter and allow Christ to fight our battles? We must embrace Galatians 6:9 and have faith in God!

It all begins with an honest, faithful relationship with Jesus Christ. Come to the cross and leave everything there including yourself. Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” When you give it all to Him, it becomes His property and all belongs to Him. God will vigorously defend that which belongs to Him. However, we must be strong in faith and submit to the way of God. We cannot become fractured by the circumstance and attempt to take control again. That will only repeat previous failures. Give all to the Lord and leave it there. Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

The discipline of our heavenly Father will save our lives. We must give Him our total selves, the good, the bad, the challenging and the pleasant. “Give them all to Jesus, shattered lives, wasted dreams and broken toys...He will turn your sorrow into joy.”

The Message, Sustainability Through Your Revelation!

There is a delicate balance in pursuing God into His revelation and pursuing our own inspiration. The determining factor is the anointing of the Holy Ghost. God will anoint His revelation and Holy Ghost inspiration but He will not anoint inspiration that is born out of our human intellect. His anointing signifies recognition and approval. We must secure the anointing of God upon our message. If not, our message is not God's message. The goal for all should be to be one with Christ in desire, purpose and message.

There is much to be said about the influence of our religious heritage. However, I don't want to be stuck (consumed) in religious tradition but neither do I want to lose the spiritual virtue of past generations. It is important to understand that all of us are continuing to evolve into the people that God desires that we become. And just as important that we understand that the Bride of Christ continues to evolve. Eph. 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Paul says that Christ loves the Church and gave Himself for it that the process of making herself ready might be accomplished by the washing of the Word. God's plan for the Body is set in stone IE., in the Word. It will not change but we, the frail human characters that we are, must find His perfect plan for us.

In our search for God's perfect plan, we must remain flexible (fluid, pliable). A healthy tree can remain strong in the storm but if there are disease and rot the storm will expose that weakness. The storms are coming and only the spiritual virtue of our heritage in Christ can sustain us. Any other foundation will crumble and fall under the pressure of the storm. If we walk in obedience to God, we have an appointed end as described by Jeremiah. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end,” Jer. 29:11. We can know our outcome if we will put our faith in Jesus. (To be continued). The Message: A Critical Review Of End Time Events, p 17-19, available at Amazon.com.

The Message, The Role Of Prophecy And Revelation! Part 2

So what is the proper way to respond to a revelation from God? One should respond with holy reverence and submission. The prophet Isaiah comes to mind. In Isaiah 6, he saw the Lord sitting on His throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple. He responded in holy reverence by falling on his face in total submission, lying prostrate before the Lord and crying out, woe is me for I am undone. Revelation puts one in awe of how miraculous God is but brings the understanding that God wholly embraces the repentant. Isaiah came face to face with the grace of Almighty God.

In Luke 2, how did the messenger from God respond to the fear of the shepherds? Luke2:10, “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy,” God's revelation brought good tidings personally and “which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” These were glad tidings. The promise was not only to the shepherds but to ALL people.

We must respond to God's revelation with the appropriate action. The shepherds did just that. “And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us,” Luke 2:15. God will validate and confirm His message. But we must be willing to pursue after the Truth. More often than not, God's revelation comes in steps, short messages, small pieces. In my experience, it has been much like a puzzle. Piece by piece you find its place until you can see the complete picture.

The shepherds pursued after the revelation the angels delivered. “And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger,” Luke 2:16. They were able to observe confirmation of the angels' announcement. When God confirms his Truth, there is always an expected result. Luke 2:17, “And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. 18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.” The revelation was a personal experience for the shepherds in so much that the encounter compelled them to seek the truth of the revelation. When God confirmed the truth of the revelation the expected result was that they would share with others the wonder of this event. Their experience compelled them to tell others about what they had seen. The greater circle or larger group that heard the message “wondered at those things which were told them.” The Bible doesn't elaborate on the effect this wonderful happening had upon the general public. But we can conclude with certainty that those who pursued the truth experienced revelation. “But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.” I am convinced that “wondering” takes place in the mind but “pondering” takes place in the heart. The wonder of the many was a transient emotion; this recollecting and brooding of Mary was an abiding habit. Mary had experienced revelation before! She was no stranger to the visitation of the heavenly and received the Divine herald in her heart. Revelation is a heart thing! (To be continued). Weighed In The Balances!

(This is a post that I wrote 5/14/16 and it is still very much applicable to us today.)

Today my heart is troubled by the state of our nation and the world. The leaders of our world sit high and mighty upon their thrones and dictate their carnal, immoral decrees as though they rule in absolute power, brandishing contempt and distain for the oracles of God and the righteousness of His Law. They rule with impunity without regard for the fact that the Creator and Ruler of the universe has allowed them to rise to the prominence of their position. He gives them the very air they breathe and the life that possesses their mortal bodies.

What these immoral leaders fail to realize is that every word and act of mortal man will be brought into judgment. All men, both great and small will give an account of his life's work when we stand before the Judge of all judges. They fail to realize that the God of all creation has a threshold of Grace and Mercy, a line in the sand if you will. A time in which His Grace and Mercy will proceed no further and Judgment takes their place. We see the pattern repeated time and time again through out the Bible.

One such example comes bolting from the pages of scripture in Daniel 5. Belshazzar, the king of Babylon, ordered a great feast to impress a great company of his lords. Caught up in the celebration of his own vanity, he commanded that his subjects bring the golden and silver vessels that his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the House of God in Jerusalem. Daniel 5:3, “Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God which was at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, drank in them. 4They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone. 5In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote. 6Then the king's countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another.”

It was Daniel's lot to interpret the message and deliver God's decree. You see, it is God's decree that reigns sovereign and will stand with us in judgment. Daniel chastised the king for his gross indifference to the Holy Vessels of the Lord's worship and service. Daniel 5:23, “But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified: 24Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written. 25And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. 26This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. 27TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. 28PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians. 29Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom. 30In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain. 31And Darius the Median took the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old.”

The action of the king was blatant sacrilege. Belshazzar had seen the favor of God upon his father Nebuchadnezzar's kingdom when he recognized and submitted to the God of Daniel. However, Belshazzar's gross indifference to all things pertaining to the Lord God of Life and Creation became his undoing. Belshazzar crossed the threshold of God's Grace and Mercy. God's judgment awaited him on the other side.

We observe the same attitudes and actions in the societies of our nation and world today. The trend is to call the bad things good and the good things bad. Our world is no different than king Belshazzar in Daniel's day. The attitudes and actions that demand our acceptance are blatant sacrilege and an affront to all things that God calls good. The hand of God is writing on the wall. His warning is being given. Immoral leadership and immoral living is weighed in God's Balance of Holiness and found lacking. Be it known by all mortal men that sin and rebellion will be brought into judgment. God's Grace and Mercy will turn to Judgment. The ONLY solution is to repent and return to fellowship with Jehovah God!

The Power Of The Gospel!

Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith...”

God has shown His mercy and grace toward the whole of mankind in that while we were all still sinners, Jesus Christ died for our sins. He sought us out and saved us. He left the ninety and nine and came to find us and bring us home. Therein is the redeeming power of His name. There is delivering power in the name of Jesus. That is the power of the Gospel!

Will you pray this prayer with me? “Thank you God for the power of the Gospel. I am not ashamed of the Gospel for it is the power of God unto salvation in Christ Jesus to all who will believe. I embrace the promise of your Word and agree with you for all who will hear the Gospel and believe. Make me a beacon of light through Your Word. May Your Words of Truth pierce through the darkness with such fervor and power that Your Word will compel the lost to repent and turn to You. Send Your Power in me to pierce the darkness. That is what I seek as an instrument of the cross to reflect Your glory. Set me ablaze with the fire of the Holy Spirit so that all who come near the place of my habitation will feel the intense heat, that the power of Your presence would be so great that the barriers that separate fallen man from the Truth would fall flat, the doors of captivity would burst open, the chains of religion would fall helplessly away, the fetters that keep us from pursuing You would be ripped loose. I pray that those in bondage be set free and those restricted in service be inhibited no more. Lord Jesus, set us free from all encumbrances and make us a faithful and victorious warrior in the Kingdom of God.”

The power of the Gospel has set us free! I am free, I am free, Lord God Almighty I am free! Thank you Jesus! Amen!

The Message, The Role Of Prophecy And Revelation!

We must approach the prophetic with Holy fear and reverence. We can not afford to misinterpret God's message. Accurate interpretation of prophecy is critical to the mission of the Church and the salvation of the lost. If we are unsure then we don't know! We need to wait for God's revelation in the matter. There are times and seasons for God's message. For example, much of the writings of Daniel have dual applications. They were to reach out over the expanse of time affecting succeeding generations. However, the last chapter deals with the last days of Israel and we can conclude from the language that the revelation of these prophecies will be understood in God's timing. Daniel 12:4, “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” He appears to indicate that “as the end approaches that people will travel about seeking to discover what the future holds. Even Daniel did not understand all the prophecies,” Ryrie Study Bible. Daniel 12:8, “And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? 9And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.”

We must recognize the element of revelation in our personal relationship with God and the completion of the ministry of the Church. We will experience competing doctrines and theories in our quest to understand God's Word. It is only through Divine revelation that we can know the TRUTH. There is a difference in a doctrine of error and an absence (lack) of understanding. We all lack understanding to some degree. But the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit will assist us in receiving the TRUTH if we will open our minds and hearts to it.

Revelation is a personal experience. A revelation may impact one person, a great number of people or generations of people. For instance, when the angel of the Lord announced the birth of the Messiah to lowly shepherds in Luke 2, they were alone in a rural area and the message was for them. Luke 2:8, “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.” They were in a field, apart from the traffic of nearby Bethlehem. The angel of the Lord spoke directly to these few shepherds alone in the countryside. His message was a message to them first and then meant to be shared with the world. First, the revelation was a personal experience. We can say that because they had a visual experience and it had an effect on them. “And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid,” Luke 2:9. Not only was it a personal experience but also an emotional experience. And as with most revelations from God, this experience was accompanied by awe and reverence. In some instances when God reveals Himself to us, we respond in utter disbelief that it could be happening. This scene causes my heart to proclaim, “WOW, WOW, WOW.” No doubt they were paralyzed with fear. But God always comforts (to give strength and hope) and reassures (to make feel less afraid, upset, or doubtful) when we recognize (to know and remember because of previous knowledge or experience) Him and respond properly (so that it is right, true, proper, etc..) So what is the proper way to respond to a revelation from God? One should respond with holy reverence and submission. (To be continued). The Message, Prophecy Themes!

What I have to share is what I believe to be the inspiration and revelation that God has given regarding this present time and what is soon to come upon this generation. My prayer is that you will listen intently to the Holy Spirit so that God may share His message with you. It is within that context that I offer the contents of this book. I am truly ecstatic about the journey I have begun. I am absolutely convinced that the dream was from God and wait with great anticipation the continuing revelation of God that I may continue to share His message with a world filled with so much darkness.

The following is a brief description of the prophecy themes that I was drawn to within the Lambert prophecy:

Judgment – When I began to study the prophecy, my heart became weighted down with the proclamation of coming judgment. I have come to understand that we cannot change what is coming. We can only control our response to the warning. We can allow the declaration of coming judgment to affect us negatively. Or, we can rise above the negative connotation and allow the Holy Spirit to use us to declare His warning to a lost world and see the salvation of souls. The HOPE of this world is Jesus Christ. He wants to save all who will respond to His warning.

Harvest – There is a second component to the coming judgment. It is the last days Harvest. Our focus as the Church should not be solely on the theme of judgment but our response should be central to the Harvest of lost souls. Certainly, we are to warn everyone who will hear us but the call is for the unsaved to accept salvation in Jesus Christ. It is called the Nineveh Factor. Those who will hear the message and repent will be saved.

Preservation of the Body of Christ – The Scripture teaches us that the end times will be filled with persecution and chaos. The Church is the vehicle chosen by Christ to carry the Gospel to the world. The hope of this world is Jesus Christ. He will equip and empower His Body to rise up in His Name and do great things even in the midst of darkness and evil. He will preserve the Church until she has completed her mission in the earth and then He will Rapture her away.

Restoration of Israel – God will NEVER forget His covenant with Abraham. The nation of Israel is still His chosen and He loves them with a never dying love. They are His people and He will not forsake them. Because of their disobedience, He has surrendered them to continuous suffering, sorrow and anguish of heart. However, the Hope of Israel is still Jesus Christ. And the day is coming when God will melt the hardening of their heart. Then they will be redeemed in Jesus Christ.

Intercessory prayer - My prayer is that God will give us compassion to intercede for lost humanity. Our world is filled with so much pain and suffering as the result of sin-filled hearts. Pray that men will cry out to God in their distress and receive God's deliverance. Also, pray for the millions who are being persecuted and oppressed at this very moment all over the world. We need to be ready for every opportunity to share the Gospel and extend a helping hand. Israel is at the center of much of the disturbance and turmoil. Pray that God will protect and deliver Israel. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Pray for the Body of Christ to fulfill her prophetic role in these last days. Light Or Darkness?

Matt. 24:9, “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

Our goal as the Body of Christ is not to offend or be offensive. However, offense is a characteristic of the end times. It is the struggle between light and darkness. Jesus said in His Olivet discourse that it would be this way. Many are offended because of the holiness of God’s Word. Many are offended when God shines His light into their darkness. Many are offended because they want to be justified in their sin but sin and holiness can not inhabit the same space. The Holy Spirit will shine His light upon our lives and reveal sin’s darkness in us. At that point, we must choose light over darkness or be forever lost.

My hope is that you will pray this prayer with me! “Lord Jesus Christ, I come to you today in my human weakness, aware that any good thing in me is what you have created. There is no substance, no state of mind or conscience that transcends the work of the Holy Spirit in me. I thereby yield myself to the work of Your Spirit. Take me, prepare me and use me. If there be any good thing in me, use it for your honor and glory. Jesus Christ be glorified in my life. I covenant with you to be what you desire me to be. I pray that my mind would be as the Mind of Christ, that my mouth would speak the Words of Christ, my hands would practice the Deeds of Christ and that my feet would take me into the Way of Christ. Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. May I ever walk in your Word. Lord Jesus, have mercy upon me and my house. I am forever Yours. Be glorified in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

If you prayed this prayer along with me, your failures are in your past. Repentance and submission are in your present. Triumph and victory are in your future! Praise be to the Lamb of God who was slain that by His blood I am washed clean!!!

The Inspiration For This Journey!

When I read the warnings in God’s Word and see the prophetic signs being fulfilled all around me, I must conclude that we are living in the end times. Jesus will soon return! We must be actively engaged in the last days harvest of souls.

I have felt for quite some time that God has an end-time message for me to share. A few months ago I expanded my study efforts to include a small group of believers with the same interest. During that time my searching became more intense. While I was praying for inspiration and revelation, I had a dream. It occurred after one of our Study Group meetings on May 23, 2015.

In the dream, I saw a dark wall or a black structure. The wall was veiled by smoke or fog but I could see letters. For a period of time, I could not identify the letters. As I looked more intensely through the veil, I could read the letters as words. The words were, "study the Lambert prophecy." I was not acquainted with any information about anyone named Lambert. I was not familiar with any books or printed literature by Lambert. I was not aware of any teaching or any resource by Lambert.

When I awoke from the dream, I went to my computer and Googled "the Lambert prophecy." There, at the top of the page was the name "Lance Lambert." When I went to his web page I found the seven prophecies that he has published. Interestingly enough He had just died on May 10.

I collected the following biographical information from Lance Lambert’s web page at “LanceLambert.org.”

Lance Lambert was one of the most distinguished Bible scholars and speakers in Israel and had an itinerant teaching ministry worldwide. Born in 1931, Lance grew up in Richmond, Surrey and came to know the Lord at twelve years of age. He entered the school of African and Oriental studies at London University to prepare for work in China. He studied Classical Chinese, Mandarin, Oriental Philosophy and Far Eastern History, but the revolution closed the door to European missionaries and his entry into China.

In the early 1950's Lance served in the Royal Air Force in Egypt and later founded Halford House Christian Fellowship in Richmond, England.

Having discovered his Jewish ancestry Lance became an Israeli citizen in 1980 and had his home next to the Old City of Jerusalem until his passing on May 10, 2015. His father and many members of his family died in the Holocaust.

Lance was noted for his eschatological views, which place him in the tradition of Watchman Nee and T. Austin-Sparks. He produced a widely appreciated quarterly audio recording called the Middle East Update, which gave his unique perspective on current events in the Middle East, in the light of God's Word. He has written numerous books including The Uniqueness of Israel and is presenter of the video production, Jerusalem, the Covenant City.”

As I began to study the Lambert prophecies, I have found at least five themes contained within them. I have identified them as follows: Judgment, Harvest, Preservation of the Bride, Restoration of Israel and Intercessory Prayer. These are the subjects that I have been drawn to and will be sharing from these basic themes. I will include a brief description of each prophecy theme here. (To be continued). Holiness Unto The Lord! Part 2

There appears to be some confusion among the secular churches about the definition of “holiness.” How can we embrace holiness and sin at the same time? Sure, we need to identify with the struggles of the sinner but we cannot accept the life of sin. And neither can the sinner if he or she wants to be truly free. Sin is a weight. It’s destructive powers are like a malignant cancer with it’s invasive tentacles reaching into every fiber of the human body. The cancer must be identified and eradicated. It is the work of the Holy Ghost to identify the sin in us. It is the work of the same Holy Ghost to destroy the sin as one repents and walks in the redeeming power of the blood of Jesus bringing captive every thought and deed.

We must serve notice to Satan. We must tell him that he cannot exert his influence in our lives. He needs to know that he is not welcome. He needs to feel the fervor of the Holy Spirit when he comes calling. He needs to know that this house is under the supervision of the Lord God Almighty.

Holiness is not adherence to a creed, doctrine or religious ritual. Holiness is the result of spiritual transformation created in the heart of the believer by the indwelling of the Spirit of God. Thereby the believer becomes a new creation in Christ Jesus, born anew from above. John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Holiness is an attribute of the new heart created in the life of the believer. Being born from above, the believer receives his guidance from our Father above and reflects that guidance in every facet of his life.

Holiness Unto The Lord!

Psalm 29:2, “Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.”

God requires that we come before Him in holiness. If we are to enter into His presence, we will do so under the covering of Holiness. The Psalmist said it best, if we are to give God the glory that is due Him, if we are to truly worship Him we will do so in His holiness. Holiness is an indispensable element of our relationship with God. Hebrews 12:14, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:”

Man was created in the image of God, and until he sinned he was the reflection of God. After the disobedience of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, God pronounced the curse of sin upon all creation. All that God had created would carry the scar of man’s failure.

The sin in mortal man cannot be representative of God. Therefore, the sin must be cast aside and abandoned. That is done in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus provided everything we need to be a true disciple through His cleansing blood. Look to the cross, believe in the cleansing of Christ, be washed in His blood and He will make you clean and holy. We are then the reflection of God.

A disciple of Christ will reflect the character of God. 1 Peter 1:16, “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” Peter’s reference is to the command of God in Leviticus 11:44-45 for the people of God to be holy as the one who has called them is holy. Jesus was also our example and was without sin. 1 Peter 2:22, “Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:”

Holiness is a New Testament teaching and has become a serious issue in the 21th century church. If we believe and accept the Bible we must declare that holiness is an absolute in the Body of Christ. The Body of Christ is the Bride of Christ and is destined to be presented to Christ as a holy bride washed in the blood of the lamb. Ephesians 5:25, “...Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” The Bride will be presented in holiness. Jesus shed His blood on the cross as a sacrifice to atone for our sin. In Him, sin is cast aside and abandoned, never to be remembered. The believer is wholly washed becoming a child of God and prepared to be the reflection of his Father. Amen.

Awake, You That Sleep! by Myra Boozer

Ephesians 5:14, “...Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”

America, my heart is sad! You are going down a slippery slope with no ropes to pull you back. You have chosen this path. You have made your bed, now you will lie in it. You have turned away from God and the principles that you were founded upon. You have allowed your children to become prideful and full of envy. You have allowed your leaders to lead in error. You have allowed your teachers to teach without authority (to teach things unfounded in the Word of God). You have allowed your egotistical (those of self interest) to become your hero's. You have given the stage to the revolting and the lime light to the contemptuous (manifesting, feeling, or expressing deep hatred or disapproval). You have fallen asleep and the innocent are being murdered in front of your face. You are in the miry clay and you cannot get out. You have a voice but it is speaking perverse things. What shall become of you America? Until you repent and turn from your wicked way you will go down in a great fall. Those in you who are godly, righteous people will be removed. At what point I do not know for the clock is ticking and the midnight hour is almost here. The call today is for those who love God, Truth and mankind to Pray as never before. This is our weapon against the evil that is sweeping over this land like a tsunami, destroying every good and decent thing in it's path. This is why it is so vital to stay in the pavilion (presence) of the Lord Jesus. He is our refuge, our strong tower, Our Hiding Place, our covering and protection until He comes to take us away in the Rapture. America, you will one day bow. Don't let it be too late! "That at the name of Jesus EVERY knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth: And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:10-11

Eternal Life Is Your Choice!

God knows what He wants to happen in our world today. Every living soul must make the decision to heed the leading of God or to choose an alternative. Many are struggling to define God’s purpose and will for today. All over the world every person has that choice and God’s Spirit is striving with us all. It will not be that way always. Genesis 6:3, “And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man...” God is watching the affairs of men. As in Noah’s day, God looked at the wickedness of man and declared an end to in all.

God is dealing with us all as individuals, urging us to follow His path. For some, God will make His presence known in a very strong and profound manner. For others, it may be less conspicuous. However, God will expose the world to His influence and every person will make the choice to follow or not. Thereby we choose the course of our lives and the inevitable end of that choice.

Our heavenly Father knows the way that we should take. We must walk close to Him so He may convey His direction to us. He will direct our steps if we will hear and obey His voice. Our relationship must be such that we will hear and willingly consent to His guidance. He will lead us. He will be all that we need Him to be. He will never leave us or forsake us if we will hear His voice and follow Him. Amen!

John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
