The Last Days! by Myra Boozer

"This know also, that in the last days perilous (uncertain)times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous (desire, envy) boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent (without self- restraint especially in sexual activity) fierce (furious, enraged, vehement, cruel, insane, hellish) despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady,(intoxicating) highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers(various) lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was," 2 Timothy 3:1-9 KJV.

These are not my words but the words of God through His servant Timothy. The next chapter tells us "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the TRUTH, and shall be turned unto fables (a fictitious story, a falsehood),” 2 Timothy 4:3-4.

We are living in the last days! We are to preach the Word and remember these words, "And the LORD shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen," 2 Timothy 4:18.

The Beginning Of Sorrows!

Mark 13:5, “And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 7And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. 8For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.”

First, we must look at the context of these verses in relation to their immediate application. Christ was alluding to the immediate future when many of these circumstances would occur but also alluding to events that would occur at the end of the age. We can conclude that these scriptures were partially fulfilled when the Romans destroyed the Temple and Jerusalem in AD 70. The Jews were scattered to every corner of the world and only began to return to their homeland in 1948. Since that time, God has been bringing them home.

The tribulations and calamities which preceded and accompanied the overthrow of Israel at that time are a sign and warning of the great and universal woes which will bring in the great day of the Lord and the judgment of God. The reference alludes to the beginning of something much worse which is yet to come.

Ellicott's Commentary states that the words, “the beginning of sorrows” mean strictly, the beginning of travail pangs. Paul speaks of the whole creation as travailing in pain together. So a time of national suffering and perplexity is one in which the children are come to the birth. Romans 8:22, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.” The whole of creation is groaning in travail for the birth of a New Day. A day when sin and its destructive results will no longer affect God’s Kingdom, a kingdom in which the Son of Righteousness will reign for eternity. The lion will lie down with the lamb and the Glory of God will once again permeate all of God’s Creation! (continued)

Life Is A Journey! by Myra Boozer

"Life is a journey not a home, a road, a city, or habitation. The enjoyments and blessings we have are but little Inns on the roadside of life where we may be refreshed for a moment, so we may press on to the end with new strength."

Our lives will come to an end one day because this is not our home. We are just passing through and it seems very quickly. "The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away," Psalms 90:10.

We have a choice of where we want to live at the end of this journey. The roads we choose to travel have everything to do with where we will spend eternity. There is a highway of holiness that leads to eternal life. "And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein," Isaiah 35:8. Sometimes this road seems hard to climb because it is the narrow way and not many want to travel this road so you may not see all your friends. Don't fret Jesus said in His word "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee," Hebrew 13:5b.

WARNING! Don't go the broad way, the road that is most traveled. It may at first appear to be the right road because so many travel that road and seem to be happy. They talk about the lights, the beautiful sights, the fun and pleasures. Remember Moses? "Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season:” Hebrews 12: 25.

ALERT! The broad road leads to DESTRUCTION. "For wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be that find it," Matthew 7:13b.
God left us the road map, His Holy Word. He left us a guide, His Holy Spirit. In John 14: 1- 7, Jesus tells us to not be troubled. He also said that in His Father's house are many mansions, and He, Himself was going to prepare us a place. He promised He would return and take us there. We don't have to figure out every detail, but we do have to trust in Jesus with all of our hearts. He said, "I am the way, the truth and the life."

This journey is coming to a close one day. I am trusting in Jesus, that I wind up in God's Big House with friends and family whom I love dearly. Hope to see you there!

Through It All!

Ecclesiastes 1:9, “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.”

Many years ago I began a journey of eternal consequence. I made a conscious decision to follow Jesus Christ and be His disciple. This journey has taken me to many places and introduced me to many people, many different circumstances, and many different results. I have followed Christ through a changing world and the evolution of man to where we stand at this point in time.

Many things continue to change as I endeavor to continue and even finish this journey. However, I am fully aware that there has always been one constant in the noise of all the changes. That constant has been the Lord Jesus Christ and His timeless and unobstructed love for me. His loving kindness endures forever!

As I have traveled this circle of life, I have seen the hand of Almighty God all around me. He has always been with me to provide the solution to my confusion, and to provide all the necessities that I have required to accomplish His mission in my life. However, He continues to call me back to my beginning, to that place of first encounter and His vision that He has set in my heart. It is the reality of that beginning that continues to provide the strength to continue His mission.

The words of an old song come to mind. The song was written by Andre Crouch but I remember an outstanding rendition given by The World Challenge Singers at the General Assembly of The Church of God of Prophecy in Cleveland Tennessee. The title of the song is, Through It All, and I offer it here for contemplation and reflection.

I’ve had many tears and sorrow
I’ve had questions for tomorrow
There were times I didn’t know right from wrong
But in every situation, God gave me blessed consolation
That my trials only come to make me strong

I’ve been a lot of places
I’ve seen a lot of faces
But there were times that I felt so all alone
But in my lonely hour, those precious lonely hours
Jesus let me know that I was His own

Through it all, through it all, I’ve learned to trust in Jesus, I’ve learned to trust in God
Through it all, through it all, I’ve learned to depend upon His Word

So I thank God for the mountains, and I thank Him for the valleys
and I thank Him for the storms He’s brought me through
For if I’d never had a problem, I’d never know God could solve them
I’d never know what faith in His Word could do.

One day very soon, we will finish this Circle Of Life. And that which has been and that which is will be no more and the only thing new under the sun will be ETERNITY. We have only this life and it will soon be completed and only our discipleship in Jesus Christ will be important in ETERNITY!

One Thing Have I Desired Of The Lord! by Myra Boozer

David said in Psalm 27:4, "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple."

What are we seeking today? What are we looking for? Matthew 7:7, “...seek, and ye shall find...” David wasn't talking about staying in the temple every day but he was talking about dwelling in God’s presence “all the days.” Psalm 27:5 says, “For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret of His tabernacle shall he hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock." We find Divine refuge in Psalm 31:20, and a hiding place...a place of safety, yes in the time of trouble. He goes on to Psalm 27:8, “When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.” So, many times we seek His hand, which is his provision, but He told David, “seek my face,”...His person...who He is. When we truly seek Him, we live in His house, His pavilion, His tabernacle, His presence. When we dwell there we are set upon a rock...a firm foundation. The very best thing we can seek is the face of the Lord. Oh! to know Him...to really know Him...to cherish him like we cherish nothing else.

When you love someone you want to share life with them. You don't just visit them on Sunday. They become part of your everyday life. The Lord doesn't want us out on the porch. He wants us to come on in and dwell (live) with Him! One Thing Have I Desired Of The Lord!

If He Asks For Bread? Conclusion

Jesus is our Beginning and He will be our End. He is our Sustainer of Life. He is our Provider and constant Companion. Though we pass through this intense darkness, He is our Light and our Salvation. We may not know the next step to take but He is our Guide and will give us perfect Peace in the turmoil. He will speak to this storm and declare “PEACE BE STILL” to all who will put their trust in Him. He restores the strength of the soul and causes us to rise up on wings as an eagle. He makes us soar high above the conflict in this world, separated from the darkness and the struggle. His Light dispels the darkness! The struggle or battle is the Lord’s! Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

He will keep us in the hollow of His hand and nothing can pluck us from His saving grace. That is the power of His abiding presence. Power to push back against the evil and darkness that has captured the innocence of life and destroyed so many precious souls. The power of His presence in us enables us to declare in the Name of Jesus, “YOU SHALL PROCEED NO FURTHER.” There is power in the Name of Jesus over all that comes against us. As He abides in us and we in Him, He will vanquish every foe and make us to triumph over every evil plan of the enemy. Oh! Victory in Jesus! He is our Savior forever! He will keep us in perfect peace as our focus is on Him! That Peace is our total Freedom Forever! Amen!

John 6:33, “For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world...35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger;” If they ask for bread, will you give them a stone? Give them the Bread which you have received from God, the Bread of God which comes down from heaven, and gives Life unto the world. Give them Jesus! He is the Bread of Life!

The Spirit Of Anti-Christ! by Myra Boozer

1 John 4:3, “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

This spirit of anti-Christ is roaming throughout our world today. Many are accepting it and going along with its evil schemes. Do you ever just get sick of this world with all the evil and corruption? It is very difficult to know if the news is real or fake news. Truth has fallen in the streets. What do we believe and who do we trust?

There is so much hatred coming from a society that wants to live a lifestyle THEY have devised. They want nothing said about going against the Word of God and His principles of living holy and acceptable before God. So many are seeking a lifestyle without God or His influence. They seem to have been delivered over to this anti-Christ spirit, accepting every lie and fantasy. They consider themselves to be free to do, say, or act any way they desire and no one has the right to speak against it.

The world is becoming more and more anti-God, anti-Church, and also anti-American. America, where many have put their hopes for their future, for a secure life with family and friends. America is a place where dreams come true. Not anymore! We have no promise that it will get better, only worse. Sin is raging and evil will abound! The hearts of many will be hardened by neglect, pride, and selfish desires. They will not have time for TRUTH. They have no time to bow before our maker and give Him due respect or love. They have no time for obedience to God’s Word.

God still loves and yearns for all souls to come to repentance. The cross was a horrible sacrifice for Jesus but He gave Himself willingly. He suffered for our Salvation, for our Healing and our Home that He has gone to prepare. All the provisions He has made will be useless to the person who has no time for Him and His plan for their life now. Only the one who takes time to open their mind and their heart to His precious tugging will benefit from the place that He has prepared. All must open their heart and listen to His voice, follow in His steps, and obey His directions. Those who don't will go away into everlasting punishment but the righteous into life eternal. Matt. 25:46, “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” Amen!

God's Judgment Is Certain!

Revelation 3:19, “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

God’s judgment doesn't suddenly come upon a person or a people without warning. In the old Testament, when people walked in rebellion or strayed from God’s leadership, He always sent His Prophet to warn them of the consequences of their error and gave the opportunity for correction and change. God showed them where they had wandered from His path and gave them the choice to repent and return to Him. But, He would always inform them of the consequences of their disobedience.

God uses the same principle today. He will warn us and give us the opportunity to make the necessary corrections. He will show us where we missed the mark. In the midst of our situation, we can trace our problem back to a failure on our part, a place in our journey where we made a wrong choice, where we took the wrong path. God, having revealed where we have come up short, will give us the choice to repent and return to Him or suffer the consequences for our disobedience.

God is good and His mercy endures forever to bring salvation to all who will obey. Psalm 106:1, “Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. 2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise? 3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times. 4 Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;”

God’s desire is for the world to observe how He loves those that will come into a loving, obedient relationship with Him. It is God’s desire also to show the world how He will deal with disobedience. Even in our blatant rebellion, His heart yearns for communion with us. We have not fully understood God's plan for us, if we did we would not pull back.

When the seeds of disobedience are sown they will bring forth fruit in due season. In the midst of our rebellion, He wants to save us for His name's sake. But, you can be sure that whatever we sow will come forth in the time of harvest. Galatians 6:7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”

You may feel trapped where you are and not where you want to be. Jesus will set you free from whatever holds you fast. Call out to Him. He will deliver today! God’s Judgment Is Certain!

The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness! by Myra Boozer

I love the mornings when I open my blinds and the sun comes pouring in. It just makes my day and I rejoice in the warmth of God's love to all mankind. It is not only warm, but it is also beautiful and makes all things beautiful. Sometimes the clutter in my room doesn't look so challenging.

Lord may we open the blinds of our heart and allow you to SHINE in our world. Darkness has hovered for a night and the cries for help are getting louder. The lonely, the sick, the forsaken and forgotten cry out against the pit that has them bound. The prisoners held by sin cry out for freedom...Freedom to be forgiven, loved, and restored!

Who will open the blinds Lord and reveal the rays of Hope, the Light of Jesus that dispels the darkness? Who will ARISE and open the blinds, the shield that covers our windows? Lord, we are given opportunity NOW in this season to be that person to allow YOUR LIGHT to come forth. It will come with a sudden burst of great force when we allow your Spirit to direct and strengthen us. I know only the strong will do this. Help us to be STRONG IN THE POWER OF YOUR MIGHT as we ARISE like a Warrior with the Helmet of Salvation, the Shield of Faith, and the Sword of the Spirit.

Help us Lord to equip ourselves with your Armor for the challenge before us...Our world is in great need of your LIGHT, the Light that dispels all darkness. Help us to be your hands reaching the lost and your feet to carry the "GOOD NEWS”...our mouth to speak Your Word which is Truth...that it will set the captive free, heal the sick and bind up the brokenhearted...Lord Jesus help us, your Children to Arise at your command...Amen!” The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness!

If He Asks For Bread?

Luke 11:11, “If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone?...”

As Christians, what do we have to give to a desperate and pain-ridden world? What do we have to offer the starving, the lost, the dying humanity all around us? Can we observe the horrific battle that takes place in our presence each and every day? Do we see the joyless faces among us, the empty stares, the emptiness of soul?

Where has their light gone? Proverbs 15:30, “The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.” The condition of the heart and soul shines through the eyes but may not be evident to the casual observer. Can we be more than a casual observer or will we continue with business as usual? Can we see precious souls in the conflict of their lives and be an instrument for their Divine encounter? True ministry, Holy Spirit ministry will always include a Divine encounter otherwise it is only an expression of religious habit!

Jesus said in John 6:32, “Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. 34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. 35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” The spiritually emaciated world is in need of the Living Bread! What then shall we do? We will give them the true Bread of Life. We will give them Jesus! (continued)

Meet Her At The Crossroads! by Myra Boozer

"Does not wisdom call out, And understanding lift up her voice?" BUT WHO IS LISTENING? Only the wise will hear! "She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, beside the way, Where the paths meet. She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, At the entrance of the doors," Proverbs 8:1-3, NKJV.

Wisdom is calling to every one of us but some just don't have time to listen. They are too busy making plans and settling deals with whomever they choose. They decide to walk right on by Wisdom and give her no attention as though she wasn't even there. Too many today are so hasty and determined to be their own guide that they have forgotten to seek God for wisdom. Wisdom is a choice, you see. We don't have to keep making the same mistakes over and over again. Wisdom is there, "beside the gate."

Every decision one makes has an entrance but before we proceed further, we can take time to seek wisdom. She (wisdom) is not overbearing or rude but she is there standing strong and firm. She is at the entrance of every door. She is on the face of every decision. She is available. We can embrace her or we can ignore her!

No, She is not without price because she is only available to those who will lay down their ideas, their plans, their desires and seek after the righteousness of God. No, she is not immediate because it takes time to rid oneself of the earthly, carnal, selfish desires and lean fully on the heart of God.

God is the Master Planner of our lives. He is the One who knows everything from front to back. He knows us and the plans He has for us. He is the one who made us creatures of choice and He willingly gives wisdom to all who will choose her.

What a great honor to meet "Wisdom " at every crossroad. There is so much uncertainty and many days of difficulty to know who is telling the truth and who isn't. To figure out the puzzle and get out of the maze created by the worldly system requires more than my mind can conceive. I must have wisdom, for she is from God. He has placed her there. She will not fail but notice she (Wisdom) is standing where the paths meet. That means we can go either way. We will go the way of the world unless we are firmly rooted and grounded in Christ. The way of the world is the broad way and leads to destruction. The narrow way will be the one where Wisdom is standing and offering Life Eternal. She is valuable, more precious than rubies and nothing you could ever desire can compare with her...see Proverbs 8:11.

Why Settle For Less?

John 10:7, “Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Why would you settle for less than the very best your life could possibly be? It all depends on who or what you put your trust in! The system of this world will let you down. We cannot place our trust in the hands of mortal men but must seek out the “life-giver” who already has a plan, His plan for our lives.

If we will obey His call, He will fully implement His Divine “order” in us and through us. Order suggests the way objects in space or events in time are arranged or follow one another. God knows where we need to be at any given time so He may bring forth His Divine purpose in us. He is vividly aware of the best possible path for our lives. He sees our future and knows the way we should take.

Some people thought that electing Donald Trump as president of the United States was the answer to all that ails us. Other people think that electing a Democrat as president will bring a solution to all our problems. However, our political systems do not have the answer we need. Our religious systems do not have the answer. The political systems and the religious systems of our world will usher in one-world government and one-world religion. That is definitely not the answer but is fulfilling the prophecy of the Bible. What we need, what our nation needs and what our world needs is the Lord Jesus Christ. All other sources will ultimately fail us. “..I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Why Settle For Less?

Choose The High Road! by Myra Boozer

Oh, the roads we have all traveled at some point in our lives. Not your desired scenic routes that's for sure. You know the beautiful ones with views of a beautiful sky and mountains with rolling hills touched by rushing waters flowing over rocks and fish swimming downstream. The hills are covered with flowers blooming like they will never wither and die. The clouds exploding like cotton candy upon a sea of deep blue waters.

No, not all the roads are the same! Some roads lead us down paths of darkness and emptiness where it seems no living creature has ever been before. You feel as though you are the first explorer, traveling where NO one has ever trod. The paths are all covered with briers and debris that seems to have never been disturbed with nothing growing or blooming. It is barren of beauty because it is hidden by dark and heavy clouds, rumbling with the force of a storm and so frightful. These are the roads that can seem to never end. They certainly don't lead to where you had intended.

There are many tears of sorrow on this road, causing your vision to be blurred and dimmed. Sometimes causing you to make wrong judgments and decisions. Also, bad vision can make you see things that are not really there. At other times you don't see what is actually happening.

Be warned! Don't give in to the billboards that have been posted by Satan along the way. Those that promise quick relief to numb your pain. They will leave you a crumpled heap in the ditch. Look up above all the distractions, and please don't pick up any hitchhiker by the name of "Self- Pity" or the "Accuser." They will make your road twice as long and almost unbearable.

You must come to yourself and look further than the road your traveling. See Psalm 121:1-2 and declare, "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth." Look to the one who sees the big picture, and knows you by name. He knows exactly where you made the wrong turn.

Sometime it is our not paying attention, or our stubbornness to think we know the way to go without consulting our Road Map. We must come to the place that we admit we are LOST and don't know the way out of the wilderness. We must call out in repentance, Lord, I am sorry that I missed the path you had for me. Somewhere I missed it, and I desire to be rescued from myself. I desire to be on a different road, because this one is destroying me. Lord, please shine your Light upon my path that I might see YOU and know your way. Lead me to a path where I can see your light and feel the sun's rays upon my face, touching me with Your love and mercy and giving me direction for my life. I am so sorry for my sin and I want it to be repulsive to me so that I never turn back to my old ways. I want you to change me and make me new. Help me to have a love and desire for you that will quench all hunger and thirst for unrighteousness. Change my desires to want more and more of you Lord, until I meet You on that Day when you come to claim your own...

Light Or Darkness?

Matt. 24:9, “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

Our goal as the Body of Christ is not to offend or be offensive. However, offense is a characteristic of the end times. It is the struggle between light and darkness. Jesus said in His Olivet discourse that it would be this way. Many are offended because of the holiness of God’s Word. Many are offended when God shines His light into their darkness. Many are offended because they want to be justified in their sin but sin and holiness can not inhabit the same space. The Holy Spirit will shine His light upon our lives and reveal sin’s darkness in us. At that point, we must choose light over darkness or be forever lost.

My hope is that you will pray this prayer with me! “Lord Jesus Christ, I come to you today in my human weakness, aware that any good thing in me is what you have created. There is no substance, no state of mind or conscience that transcends the work of the Holy Spirit in me. I yield myself to the work of Your Spirit. Take me, prepare me, and use me. If there be any good thing in me, use it for your honor and glory. Jesus Christ be glorified in my life. I covenant with you to be what you desire me to be. I pray that my mind would be as the Mind of Christ, that my mouth would speak the Words of Christ, my hands would practice the Deeds of Christ and that my feet would take me into the Way of Christ. Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. May I ever walk in your Word. Lord Jesus, have mercy upon me and my house. I am forever Yours. Be glorified in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

If you prayed this prayer along with me, your failures are in your past. Repentance and submission are in your present. Triumph and victory are in your future! Praise be to the Lamb of God who was slain that by His blood we are washed clean! Light Or Darkness?

In The Morning Light! by Myra Boozer

In the morning light, things are so much clearer. I can see further than I expected. I see HOPE resting high up on the mountain, just waiting for me to come and save her from all the doubts that were lurking during the night. They are hiding under the rubble of yesterday's leftover trials and heartaches.

I can see her looking all radiant in the sunlight, where I couldn't see her at all in the midnight. She needs me to be her friend as she bids me come. But, more importantly, I need her. I could never face TODAY without HOPE.

With so much depression spreading over our world and people feeling helpless and hopeless, I pray they will look up and find HOPE in Jesus Christ. He is the answer to all our needs. He gives us the strength to press on even though the darkness comes and doubt is always hiding in the shadows.

HOPE remains steadfast! The secret is, “get up out of the rubble of despair and reach for her.” Yes, it takes effort but, your life is dependent upon YOU making the right choice. Hope isn't hiding from you! But, you must look for her! In The Morning Light!

Discerning Light From Darkness By The Holy Ghost! Conclusion

In Acts 13 we read about the beginning of Paul’s missionary ministry. The leading and anointing of the Holy Ghost was an integral part of Paul’s ministry and gave him the advantage of discerning Light from Darkness. Acts 13:2, “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. 4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.” Notice that it was the Holy Ghost that made the selection and the Holy Ghost that gave the assignment. We must lay our plans aside and petition God to make us part of His Plan.

They preached the Word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. A certain deputy of the country called for Paul and Barnabas desiring to hear the Word of God. A certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus opposed them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Acts 13:9, “Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, 10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? 11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. 12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.” The reality of this passage is that those who oppose Jesus Christ really do walk in darkness. The decree of the Holy Ghost brought to fruition the physical reality that the sorcerer was truly walking in spiritual darkness.

The Holy Spirit discerned the “darkness” and called it out. In the power of the Spirit, the darkness was defined and confined. There is no further mention of Bar-jesus in the Bible. The lesson to be learned here is that the judgment of God is sure and final. This was God’s Plan! The Holy Ghost did the choosing and gave the assignment. Therefore, Paul’s mission was under the mantel of Christ and without limitation. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must walk in the Light as the Holy Ghost leads and move in the anointing of His assignment. He will discern the Darkness, Define, and Confine. By the power of the Spirit, the power of darkness will be revealed and deposed! By The Holy Ghost, we will Discern Light From Darkness!

There Is A Storm On The Horizon! by Myra Boozer

The winds of false doctrine are building into a spiritual tornado. They are destroying every soul that has not built themselves up in the faith that was once delivered to the saints. The storm clouds gather as the gross darkness cannot hide any longer from this world. The Word tells us in Isaiah 60:2, "For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people..." As it feeds on the sinful nature that has so viciously spread though our land, it is building in momentum. It is rapidly moving in! Can you hear the distant thunder?

As a storm on the horizon, it was beautiful in its conception. The colors were vibrant and vivid. But, mixed with the Winds of False Doctrine, the spinning has begun and the loud sounds of horror have intertwined with the fierce lightening of Satan himself. Many have already been deceived and destroyed.

As they have gathered on the sea of time the false teachers and preachers have devised their own way to get to God other than through His Son, Jesus Christ. They have tried to rebuke the winds of sorrow in their own carnal voice and have seen no results. Speaking great mysteries and giving interpretations from their own carnal voice, they have produced many different answers for our day. They build each other up in the false security that God is with them when He is not.

They teach the multitudes that they are to have all their mind can conceive in riches and wealth. They teach them that a loving God has forgiven all the sins committed in the past, present, and future. NOT SO! All sin must be repented of, as the Holy Spirit convicts the heart.

They are heaping judgment upon themselves and all who are listening to them. The book of Jude tells us we may save some with fear pulling them out of the fire. This is my sole purpose for writing this post! Maybe someone will began to read and study the Word for themselves and not be destroyed by this great storm of DECEPTION that is sweeping over the world. There Is A Storm On The Horizon!

Discerning Light From Darkness By The Holy Ghost!

John 14:23, “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him… 25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

As followers of Jesus Christ, we will suffer persecution and experience opposition at the hand of Satan, the enemy of our souls. In Ephesians 6:10, we are admonished to “be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Our strength and success are dependent upon our obedience to the Word of God and submission to the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus became the living Word among us and indwells this mortal body by the Holy Ghost. The world hated Him and they will hate all who follow Him. Matthew 10:22, “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”

In a world that is filled with darkness, Jesus has made provision for us to discern the light from the darkness. He promised His disciples that after His departure He would send the Holy Ghost to be our resident guide, adviser, and protector. When He has come He will teach you all things necessary for your success and cause you to remember all that He has already taught you. Jesus has taught us to discern light from darkness by the power of the Holy Ghost within us.

It is imperative that we know light from darkness. That is a very simple statement but I find it to be one of the greatest needs among Christians today. Among all the subjects that we have written about over the past 5 years, the response to subjects about truth and light has been an overwhelming 3 to 1 over any other single theme. People want to know the truth. They want to be able to discern Light and Darkness. It is crucial in these last days and the indwelling and work of the Holy Ghost is indispensable in this endeavor. Remember Your Promise! by Myra Boozer

Many have made a promise to the Lord to spread His Gospel message to a lost and dying world. Maybe when you got saved, when you were in Revival hearing the Word of God and had a real "revelation" of what Hell is going to be like for all those who do not accept Christ... Maybe when you were at Youth Camp sitting around a big fire after the sun had gone down... You were given a pine cone to throw in the fire that represented your commitment to share salvation with a lost world.

All of these and more happened in my life and as a child, I knew God had a plan for me. I am sure I could have done more but it has been my life's purpose to help people know JESUS. I cannot stop now! We are too close to the coming of the Lord! More than ever, we must REMEMBER our promise to tell others. Tell people about JESUS the Son of God coming as a baby born in Bethlehem to become the Savior of the world. And, tell people about HIS SECOND COMING as KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS to establish the KINGDOM OF GOD and RULE AND REIGN FOREVER! Remember Your Promise!

The Power Of The Gospel!

Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith...”

God has shown His mercy and grace toward the whole of mankind in that while we were all still sinners, Jesus Christ died for our sins. He sought us out and saved us. He left the ninety and nine and came to find us and bring us home. Therein is the redeeming power of His name. There is delivering power in the name of Jesus. That is the power of the Gospel!

Thank you God for the power of the Gospel. I am not ashamed of the Gospel for it is the power of God unto salvation in Christ Jesus to all who will believe. I embrace the promise of your Word and agree with you for all who will hear the Gospel and believe. Make me a beacon of light through Your Word. May Your Words of Truth pierce through the darkness with such fervor and power that Your Word will compel the lost to repent and turn to You.

Send Your Power in me to pierce the darkness. That is what I seek as an instrument of the cross to reflect Your glory. Set me ablaze with the fire of the Holy Spirit so that all who come near the place of my habitation will feel the intense heat, that the power of Your presence would be so great that the barriers that separate fallen man from the Truth would fall flat, the doors of captivity would burst open, the chains of religion would fall helplessly away, the fetters that keep us from pursuing You would be ripped loose. I pray that those in bondage be set free and those restricted in service be inhibited no more. Lord Jesus, set us free from all encumbrances and make us a faithful and victorious warrior in the Kingdom of God.

The Power Of The Gospel has set us free!

Beware The Apostate Church! by Myra Boozer

Today there are many apostate churches with their feel-good message of, come as you are, stay as you, God accepts you! This “NO need for a change of heart or lifestyle” is NOT from GOD but from Satan. It is the broad road that leads directly into hell and many are being fooled because no one will tell them the TRUTH. Matt. 7:13, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at:”

The sugar-coated preaching with no scriptural standard will not transform the life of a sinner! The Truth that Jesus speaks is OFFENSIVE to the sinner. Heb. 4:12, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

It is not a "feel good about your sin" MESSAGE but, “depart from sin, deny yourself, take up your CROSS and follow Christ” message. When true conviction comes to a person, it is the most UNCOMFORTABLE feeling in the world. The warm and fuzzy feeling will follow but not until after REPENTANCE.

God CONVICT the spiritually blind people who are doing a great injustice to those who are seeking the truth. They are enemies of the cross! They are your enemy! Don't listen to them and their spirit of error message. The Spiritually blind people are the workers of iniquity and their master is not GOD, no matter how many programs or Bible Studies they may have, no matter how many people attend their church, no matter how many mission programs they support. When a pastor and church promote anything more than the "turn from your wicked ways" message they are the apostate church teaching and preaching in error. Matt. 15:14, “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”

When a church is dead in its traditions, they do the same thing year after year and get the same results. The Spirit of Life is not flowing! It takes the anointing of the Holy Ghost to break the yoke of sin! Without the moving of Holy Ghost power to convince and convict the sinner, it becomes a club of people who still claim their sin but want to believe heaven is waiting for them. When the blind lead the blind they both fall in the ditch. If your church is sugar-coating the message, it is the apostate church! Get out, seek God, read His Word and allow the Spirit to transform you into His vessel of honor. Obey His voice as He leads you into all Truth…

John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

The Rebellion Of A Nation!

Matt. 21:28-32
Apostasy materializes in a series of errors. A nation, a church, a person does not fall into apostasy in an instant. It happens over time in which God will correct and give the opportunity to repent and return to the Truth.

The first error that these Jewish leaders made was to challenge the authority and plan of God. By rejecting Jesus, the Son of God, the Messiah sent by God, they were in full-blown rebellion against God who they claimed to serve.

That generation had witnessed the power of God through the miraculous acts that Jesus performed. Yet their lack of spiritual discernment compelled them to ask, “...By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority.” Matt. 21:23

That generation had witnessed the presentation of the King and the fulfillment of prophecy. Zechariah 9:9, “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.” See also Matt. 21:5.

That generation had witnessed the purging of the Temple which is God’s chastisement of error. See Matt. 21:12-13. They had made the Temple into something that it was not intended to be, “a den of thieves” rather than “a house of prayer.”

I am reminded of the dedication of the Temple that Solomon built. He built it for a habitation of God, a place where heaven and earth came together. 2 Chron. 7:1, “Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. 2And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD'S house.”

Apostasy is the result of rebellion. Man has fallen into apostasy because of the failure to correct his error in repentance and change. Jesus was speaking specifically to the nation of Israel. Israel paid a high price for their rebellion. They rejected their Messiah therefore God rejected them, Matt. 21:31, “...Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.” The same principle can be applied to any nation, any church, or any person. Our world society has challenged the authority and plan of God. And, more specifically this nation has walked away from God in open rebellion.

In the past century, our country has witnessed the manifest presence of God. From the isolated revivals of the Appalachians in the late 1800”s to the spiritual awakening of Azusa Street in the early 1900’s and beyond, this nation has witnessed the manifest presence of God. However, we should be concerned about our churches today and the lack of a visible witness of the power of God. We cannot rebel against the authority and plan of God and expect to walk in the power of God. We cannot walk away from the purity of His Word and expect the Holy Spirit to empower us.

If the Holy Spirit is to empower us there has to be a return to the conditions required by the Holy Scriptures. Those conditions can only inhabit the life of a repentant, regenerated, rededicated individual, church, or nation. The next move is yours! What will be your decision? The Rebellion Of A Nation!

Jesus Died For You! by Myra Boozer

You who are wandering in the darkness and fighting against the winds of the world…
Struggling for peace and warmth in your heart…
Wrestling with turmoil and pain…
Searching for acceptance and finding none…
Longing for love and companionship, only to be disappointed…
Rejected and forgotten, alone in the crowd…
Searching in all the wrong places and coming up empty…
Just to remind you there is one who can calm all your fears…
Dry all your tears and bring a warm fire to your life…
Make you His own, to never be forgotten or forsaken…
He is Jesus…
YES, Jesus Died For You and He longs to come and be your EVERYTHING!

God Keeps His Promises!

Acts 27:27, “But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down...29Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day. 30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship, 31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved. 32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.” They had to remain in the ship and continue to have faith in the promise that the Lord had given to Paul. God's plan of deliverance was to include the debris of the broken vessel, the vessel that had sustained them thus far. But, they had to be willing to stay with the ship until it literally broke apart on the rocks. Those broken pieces became their salvation. When our circumstances are falling apart, we must stay true and obedient to God’s command in order to be saved.

Acts 27:33, “...Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. 34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you...36 Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat. 37 And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls. 38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.” The fast was concluded. They could take comfort that all would be saved and they were all (276) of good cheer. They continued in faith and obedience as they threw everything overboard to lighten the ship. They had done what they knew to do! Now was the time to allow the Lord to bring an end to their storm. They took up the anchors and committed to the sea, completely free of all encumbrances, completely sustained by the wind of God.

Acts 27:41, “And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves...43 the centurion...commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land: 44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.” God's process will run its course and in the end, His purpose is secured. How many times have we survived on the broken pieces of our ship? The storms have been strong and the struggle bitter! But, we have stayed with the Lord and our end is secure in Him! God Keeps His Promises!

Change My Heart, Oh God! by Myra Boozer

I love this song..."Change my Heart oh God make it ever new. Change my heart oh God make it more like you." It is also a great prayer. Isn't His Grace Amazing? To think that He would forgive all our sins and cast them far, far away in a sea to never be remembered. Just makes me cry when I think about how my mother taught me many years ago about the love of Jesus. This love also takes away our chains, the things that seem to hold us captive and make us a prisoner. His love says NO MORE BONDAGE!

This love is unending and still so amazing after all these years. I trust it to take me on the rest of my days, however long they may be. My mother also taught me how to cook, sew, clean house, take care of babies, and much more. However, the best thing she ever taught me was that Jesus loves me and died on the cross for my sins. She taught me to love others as myself, to be forgiving, and to pray about everything. She taught me by example, which is the most profitable way to teach.

So. I must share this news with your today. Jesus loves YOU and died for YOU. You too can be set free from all the struggle, from all the guilt and shame, the chains that bind, the things that pull you down and make your life miserable. They can vanish in a moment's time when you humble yourself and allow God to raise you up in His Holiness because He is Holy, Righteous, and Pure.

He wants to hold you in His great big arms today and make everything new. JESUS LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER KNOW. Put your trust in Him. He is your deliverer and He will fight your battles. You don't have to struggle any longer or carry the guilt of sin. Just surrender to the one who created you, loves you, and died for you. He wants to give you life everlasting and peace for the journey until that Day. His love is so Amazing, so rich and free. He is so full of compassion and great mercy. When all around you is crumbling and falling away, Jesus will not fail you. He is your steady ROCK, your firm FOUNDATION, and soon Coming King!

God Is Always The Victor! He Will Answer His Servant!

God is Sovereign in power and authority and when He is challenged He always wins. In 1 Kings 18, we read Elijah's challenge to the priests of Baal. Sooner or later God will go head to head with disobedience. This was a pivotal time for Israel. 1 Kings 18:21, “And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.” Then Elijah proposed a contest to determine the true God. The God who answered with fire would be recognized as the one true God.

The priests of Baal built an altar and prepared a sacrifice. They called upon the name of Baal from morning till noon but there was no answer. They leaped about upon the altar they had prepared but still no answer. Elijah mocked them saying perhaps he is talking, on a long journey, or even asleep. They cried aloud, cutting themselves until the blood gushed out. They continued their appeal until the time of the evening sacrifice but, “there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded” 1 Kings 18:29. Baal never showed up!

Elijah prepared his altar and sacrifice. Then he commanded, “...Fill four water pots with water and pour it on the offering to be burned and on the wood. And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time,” vs 33-34. Elijah prayed an anointed prayer and God answered. 1 Kings 18:36, “...LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. 37 Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.” God answered Elijah's prayer. “Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench,” 1 Kings 18:38.

The people fell on their knees in unanimous acclamation that the Lord, He is God. The only acceptable response for the created is to fall helplessly at His feet in total submission to His Sovereignty. God is supreme, the creator of all life, the creator of all things.

God will win this war against His Sovereignty. He will meet sin and disobedience head-on. We are living in a time of God’s Grace but there is a time in the near future when He will render His judgment. Don’t believe the lies of Satan. He is doomed to defeat and he knows it. He wants to take every soul he can with him to an eternity in hell. Believe in the finished work of Jesus on the cross and declare here and now that He alone is your Savior. He is the Lord! God is always the Victor!

A New Season! by Myra Boozer

People need to know and understand that "We are made BY GOD and FOR GOD." When we come to realize THIS, everything takes on new meaning. BUT, then there are seasons in our lives, the ending of one and the beginning of another. Most of the time there is a pause, a space in-between where we are in the lull and we just need NEW direction and inspiration. We need a good cleaning of our perspective. A time to know what is IMPORTANT. A time to get things in order as God would have them. There is a time for all things, a time to sow, and a time to reap. This calls for different tactics, a different approach. So, we must have this serious personal time with the Lord.

Sometimes people think that God has left them, during the lull, the space in-between, but that is not so. This time is often difficult to adjust to. It sometimes appears to be a "valley." The reputation of the valley causes many to run scared. The talk about being "down in the valley," "alone in the valley," “no sunshine in the valley.” This talk is very damaging to those who are young in the Lord. They expect the worst thinking they will never come out. It can be frightful but don't lose HOPE.

It is time for the singing of a different song...the time of shedding off the old thoughts and taking on the new vision...But, also a time of finding great comfort and restoration. In the valley, he restores our soul. He does not leave us there but when the time fully comes He will lead us out into the New Day...A NEW SEASON of our LIFE, stronger and better than before. He never forsakes us in the VALLEY. "...I will fear no evil, for thou art with me..," Psalm 23:4. Pressing into A New Season!

God's Directive For This Hour!

Romans 13:11, “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. 13Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. 14But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.”

We need to know God in such an intimate manner that He can give us the specific instructions that we need for this hour. Now is the time to pray and seek Him for individual direction and instructions for the Body of Christ. We cannot afford to delay or be negligent in this task. There is far too much at stake. The salvation of those we love and influence is at risk. How shall we escape if we neglect this great salvation? Time is short! Our deliverance is at hand!

We continue to fight the battle between the flesh and the spirit. However, if we are to be successful for God we must position ourselves where we can hear and receive His counsel. I hear the chatter, chatter, chatter of the diversions of this life. We must cry out to the Lord Jesus Christ that He will empower us to stay focused on His plan. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we must quiet the diversions!

The world around us can be overwhelming at times, especially in the current state of world affairs. If we focus on current events alone, we will become discouraged, depressed, and defeated. But when we allow the Holy Spirit to teach us how these events fit into prophecy and the end times, the uncertainty of our future is eliminated. We can move into a relationship with Christ where the spirit and physical realms connect in the perfect plan of God.

Write the vision and make it plain so that he who reads it may run with it. It is crucial that the message is shared, but how can I best accomplish this task? Ask the Lord to open doors to the venues of His choice and desire. Make a life long commitment! Lord show me the way and I will walk therein. You lead and I will follow without question! We must have God’s Directive For This Hour!

May We Remember! by Myra Boozer

JESUS is your Rock when everything begins to sink all around you.
HE is Your Bread when your pantry is empty.
HE is Your Home when you are evicted.
HE is Your Payment for a debt you cannot pay.
HE is Your Friend when all others forsake you.
HE is Your Light when darkness tries to hover over you.
He is Your Coach when you feel defeat has overcome you.
HE is Your Weapon when the enemy strikes.
HE is Your Joy in the time of great battle.
HE is Your Escape when the lions are hungry.
HE is Your Covering when all is stripped away.
HE is Your Passport when the time comes to leave.
HE is Your Key to the riches of Heaven.

"He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion," Psalm 111:4.

Oh, how quickly we can all forget just what Jesus really means to us. When the storm has past and the sun begins to shine...May We REMEMBER the works of His Hands...this is our time to remember and be thankful...today and always...

Come See A Man!

John 4:3, “He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee. 4 And he must needs go through Samaria. 5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.”

He must needs go through Samaria.” Why did Jesus need to go through Samaria? He had a message for that city! It began with the woman at the well of Jacob and spread all over the city. When the word spread about the woman’s encounter with Jesus, many came to see for themselves. Her invitation was, John 4:29, “Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? 30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.” Many more believed at the testimony of Jesus. John 4:42, “...Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.”

Oh, how we need Christ Jesus to be manifest in our lives and in our churches. Having heard of this woman’s encounter and subsequent revelation, the people of Samaria came to see for themselves. Their desire was to see this Jesus who had told her all things. We are meeting people daily and our churches are filled week after week with people who are searching for the answers to the needs in their lives. They need Jesus! They need to see Jesus in us and to see Him manifest in every activity we are a part of!

God’s judgment is falling upon our world as a result of the sin and rebellion here. This judgment is creating a fertile field for the harvest of eternal souls. Jesus is coming soon! Therefore, He wants all who will hear His voice to get ready! He wants to reveal His delivering, healing and saving power to all who will embrace His Truth.

The woman of Samaria went to the well to draw water but her life was changed forever because she met Jesus there. Jesus is the answer to every need in our lives. Come See A Man who told me all things! Reach out to Him today! He is reaching out to YOU!

Righteousness Exalteth A Nation! by Myra Boozer

America started out with humble respect for God and country...to the point of saying "In God We Trust" on our money and "One Nation under God" in our pledge to the flag. We are a far cry from where we started out. Men have devised their own way and left God out.

I believe God wants all people everywhere to acknowledge Him and He will Bless those who do. He alone will judge the ways of man. He will discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serves God and him that does not! Psalm 9:17, "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and ALL the nations that forget God." Psalm 33:12, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people chosen for his own inheritance.” Proverbs 14:34, "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Every believer has a challenge before them to rise in the face of our enemy and say, “We proclaim the Truth of God’s Holy Word as revealed to us by His Holy Spirit.”

Are we a Christian Nation? Do we want to be a Christian Nation? The statement has been made that we are a "post-Christian Nation." Does that bother you? What can we do about it?

There is actually only one thing I can do and that is "Be Christian," be who I am and do everything in my power and ability to live out Christian values as the Holy Spirit convicts me. I can not change the world! I can only change myself and my choices. I refuse to stoop to the level that the world is following. It may seem insane or ridiculous to you but it is my responsibility as a child of God to stand my ground and give my life for what I believe to be the truth. Whether you agree or not, my decisions are not based on your feelings but upon the truth revealed by the Holy Spirit that lives in my heart. I must stand by God’s Word or why would I claim to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

I think we are really no longer a Christian nation because many who call themselves “Christian” have decided to “make the rules” instead of "God Rule." When we do not follow the dictates of our hearts with God being our rule then we have no rule. We only do what is best or most appealing to us and our own desires. This leaves God out of the picture all together...even if we call ourselves Christian, we are not. (continued)

Are You Searching For The Truth? Conclusion

2 Timothy 3:7, “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

In this passage, Paul is writing to young Timothy describing the evil which will come upon the earth in the last days. He describes all sorts of sins and evil behavior that will captivate the human race just before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. If we read and study the depth of this passage with an open mind and honest heart before God, we must declare that we are living in a time comparable to what Paul described. Indeed we are living in the last days.

God is still revealing His Truth to submissive and receptive hearts! But God has not revealed His Truth in its totality, yet! Habakkuk 2:2, “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” God has a message yet for an appointed time. Though it tarry, wait for it. In the end, it shall speak and be confirmed by Heaven!

Jesus said that when the Spirit of Truth has come, He will lead “you into all Truth.” Every living person can receive a greater understanding of the person and work of God. Regardless of one’s intellectual and academic achievement, God can still teach us a thing or two.

The Old Testament character of Job comes to mind. When Job attempted to state his case before God, he understood his place in creation relative to the Creator. Job 38:8, “Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? 9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it, 10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, 11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?” I think of this encounter as putting life in perspective. The implication to Job was, where were you Job when God spoke all things into existence? We are mortal men like Job. The creation of God must be subject to God. Job 40:2, “Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.” God is the instructor and we are His students. God still wants to reveal His Truth to submissive, receptive hearts!

Jesus also stated that when the Spirit of Truth has come “he will shew you things to come.” There is much that God would share with us if we were in the position to receive. However, we must leave the realm of the carnal man and walk in newness of life given in the Spirit. Human intellect is not a proper position for Divine revelation. In a spiritual sense, we must position ourselves to receive the totality of God’s Truth. There is a way that seems right to a man but the end is death, Proverbs 14:12. God’s desire is to reveal His Truth to His children but, we must go God’s way. He will guide us in the way that we should go. All we need to do is follow Him into His Truth!
