Spiritual Slavery Is Real! by Myra Boozer

John 8:34, “Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin."

Spiritual slavery is real and cruel. Romans 5:19, “For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” Because of Adam's disobedience we were all born into sin. Because of Jesus obedience we can be set free. Freedom from this bondage is found in Jesus Christ. He has opened the door for all who will rise up and walk out in faith, believing what He did on the cross for us.

With this freedom comes revelation or understanding of what Paul was talking about in Romans 8:18, "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." Amen!

It's really not about us...it’s about Eternity! It's not about us in the respect of what I want or think I may need. It is about my surrender to the one who created me and His plan to rescue me from Hell. It's not about how I feel or if things go my way or not. Remember we can't even begin to compare the sufferings of this present world against the Glory that will be revealed in us!

It's about enduring (whatever) til the end. It's about being delivered from the bonds of spiritual death. Freedom does not mean there are no struggles. It means we shall live and not die. We shall live forever with Him in His Kingdom.

Yes, spiritual slavery is real. Many are suffering and causing others to suffer because of its hold on them. This does not have to be! No one has to die a spiritual death because of sin and its bondage.

John 8:36, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

Divine Revelation And Our Salvation!

1 John 4:13, “Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.”

No man can truly say that Jesus is the Son of God except by the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of God. Our finite, carnal mind cannot comprehend this gift of God to a lost and dying world. It takes the illumination of the Holy Spirit to open our consciousness to the reality of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for the redemption and salvation of our souls. God must take yet a greater role in our salvation by opening our hearts in Divine Revelation to the magnitude of His gift of salvation. 2 Corinthians 9:15, “Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.”

And that is only the beginning! God must continue to lead us by Divine Revelation to where He is going or we will get lost along the way. Therefore, we must recognize the element of Divine Revelation in our personal relationship with God. We will experience competing doctrines and theories in our quest to fulfill God’s purpose through the Word. It is only through Divine Revelation that we can know His TRUTH. The Holy Spirit will assist us in receiving the TRUTH if we will open our minds and hearts to Him.

Revelation is a personal experience. A revelation may impact one person, a great number of people, or generations of people. For instance, when the angel of the Lord announced the birth of the Messiah to lowly shepherds in Luke 2, they were alone in a rural area and the message was for them. Luke 2:8, “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.” The angel of the Lord spoke directly to these few shepherds alone in the countryside. His message was a message to the shepherds first and then meant to be shared with the world.

First, the revelation was a personal experience. These shepherds had a visual and an emotional experience. “And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid,” Luke 2:9. Not only was it a personal experience but also an emotional experience.

As with most revelations from God, this experience was accompanied by awe and reverence. In most instances when God reveals Himself to us, we respond in utter disbelief that it could be happening. This scene causes my heart to proclaim, “WOW, WOW, WOW.” No doubt they were paralyzed with fear. But God always comforts and reassures us when we recognize Him and respond properly. So, what is the proper way to respond to revelation from God? We must respond with holy reverence and submission. (continued)

Time To Make A Change! by Myra Boozer

Jesus spoke openly to the world, in the synagogues, the temple, on the mountain, on the river banks, at the well, or in a home, wherever there was a need. He spoke to the known world during His thirty-three years on earth, especially the last three years. He spoke with boldness and authority given to Him by His Father. The call was given and many followed Him, although Jesus pointed out those who outwardly appeared righteous to men but within they were full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Those kinds of people were going about as usual, causing division and opposing the Truth of God's Word, and it is still happening today. People who have their eyes on other people instead of the Lord will be hindered and sometimes throw in the towel. That is not an excuse for not following the Lord, but many use it.

Today many hearts are closed with "Do not disturb signs" when it comes to receiving God's Word. It appears many are driven by society to deny that God even exists. Many are stubborn and rebellious rejecting the Holy Bible as the Word of God, denying that it is written by men as they were inspired by the Holy Ghost. Many are skeptics, doubting the virgin birth of Jesus and doubting that He arose from the dead. Others may say they believe, they just have no "POWER" to live a life of submission to the Lord. This is a reproach to the Name of Christ.

This world is getting further and further from the Truth of God's Word. The time is urgent for those who know anything about the Lord Jesus Christ to make a strong commitment. It is time to make an altar and carry everything to the Lord. If you feel you have been playing church, it is time to get serious. If you have been calling on the Lord only during 911 situations, it is time to refocus and rededicate your life. If you have put Jesus Christ on a shelf and just pull Him down when someone else is talking about Him, it is time to make a change.

Jesus is getting ready to split the Eastern Sky, to take His children home. He is coming for those who are looking for Him. He wants to be your constant friend, one who walks with you and talks with you. He wants to carry your burdens and lift you above the turmoil of this wicked world. He wants to set you free from the bonds of religion and have a personal relationship with you. Matt. 10:37, “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” Time To Make A Change!

Our Help Will Come From The Lord!

Psalm 121:1, “… I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”

We are where we are today because the whole of mankind has turned away from the influence of God in their lives. Therefore the attributes of God that He would show forth in their lives are absent. Until there is a change of heart, lives will not change! The consequences are that we are doomed to repeat the failures of the past. We need help, the help and intervention that only God can give!

Go back to the beginning! God is the beginning and in Him we live and move and have our being. He is the beginning, the beginning of time, the beginning of creation, the beginning of life, the beginning of man, the beginning of love, etc. James 1:16, “Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. 18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” In this chapter, James is addressing the mortal weakness of man and his propensity to sin. And right in the middle, he plants this golden nugget. Sure there is imperfection all around us but our life comes from above, from the Father of lights who never changes and there is not even an allusion to His changing. He is always the same, consistent, loving, compassionate, powerful, delivering, victorious Father.

In the beginning, God! God is pulling us back to Himself as in 1 John 1:1, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;” He has been with us from the beginning of this journey and He wants us to understand that it is through Him that we will finish. There is no other power, presence, or virtue sufficient to complete our assignment. He will magnify our efforts and ministry as He receives the honor and glory for the results. (continued)

The Spirit Of Anti-Christ! by Myra Boozer

1 John 4:3, “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

This spirit of anti-Christ is roaming throughout our world today. Many are accepting it and going along with its evil schemes. Do you ever just get sick of this world with all the evil and corruption? It is very difficult to know if the news is real or fake news. Truth has fallen in the streets. What do we believe and who do we trust?

There is so much hatred coming from a society that wants to live a lifestyle THEY have devised. They want nothing said about going against the Word of God and His principles of living holy and acceptable before God. So many are seeking a lifestyle without God or His influence. They seem to have been delivered over to this anti-Christ spirit, accepting every lie and fantasy. They consider themselves to be free to do, say, or act any way they desire and no one has the right to speak against it.

The world is becoming more and more anti-God, anti-Church, and also anti-American. America, where many have put their hopes for their future, for a secure life with family and friends.

America is a place where dreams come true. Not anymore! We have no promise that it will get better, only worse. Sin is raging and evil will abound! The hearts of many will be hardened by neglect, pride, and selfish desires. They will not have time for TRUTH. They have no time to bow before our maker and give Him due respect or love. They have no time for obedience to God’s Word.

God still loves and yearns for all souls to come to repentance. The cross was a horrible sacrifice for Jesus but He gave Himself willingly. He suffered for our Salvation, for our Healing, and for our Home that He has gone to prepare. All the provisions He has made will be useless to the person who has no time for Him and His plan for their life now. Only the one who takes time to open their mind and their heart to His precious tugging will benefit from the place that He has prepared. All must open their heart and listen to His voice, follow in His steps, and obey His directions. Those who don't, will go away into everlasting punishment but the righteous into life eternal. Matt. 25:46, “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” Amen!

God's Judgement Is Certain!

Revelation 3:19, “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

God’s judgment doesn't suddenly come upon a person or a people without warning. In the old Testament, when people walked in rebellion or strayed from God’s leadership, He always sent His Prophet to warn them of the consequences of their error and gave them opportunity for correction and change. God showed them where they had wandered from His path and gave them the choice to repent and return to Him. But, He would always inform them of the consequences of their disobedience.

God uses the same principle today. He will warn us and give us the opportunity to make the necessary corrections. He will show us where we missed the mark. In the midst of our situation, we can trace our problem back to a failure on our part, a place in our journey where we made a wrong choice, and where we took the wrong path. God, having revealed where we have come up short, will give us the choice to repent and return to Him or suffer the consequences for our disobedience.

God is good and His mercy endures forever to bring salvation to all who will obey. Psalm 106:1, “Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. 2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise? 3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times. 4 Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;”

God’s desire is for the world to observe how He loves those who will come into a loving, obedient relationship with Him. It is God’s desire also to show the world how He will deal with disobedience. Even in our blatant rebellion, His heart yearns for communion with us. We have not fully understood God's plan for us, if we did we would not pull back.

When the seeds of disobedience are sown they will bring forth fruit in due season. In the midst of our rebellion, He wants to save us for His name's sake. But, you can be sure that whatever we sow will come forth in the time of harvest. Galatians 6:7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”

You may feel trapped where you are and not where you want to be. Jesus will set you free from whatever holds you fast. Call out to Him. He will deliver today! God’s Judgment Is Certain!

Be Strong In The Lord, In The Power Of His Might! Conclusion by Myra Boozer

(for part 1 see 4/12/24)

The siren sounded, and the guards shouted, “Get to work!” Thousands of women prisoners were running to their places. Tiny disappeared. Only Corrie was left standing in her place. She did not know what fate awaited her. She did know however that God never slumbers or sleeps. She thought she could hear the singing of the angels. Then she heard her name called. Was it death? Oh, thank God, no! It was life. She was being released. She later learned it was through an administrative blunder but she knew it was not the end of an era. It was just the beginning. Ahead of her was the world. Later as she stood in the prison yard waiting for the final order, a fellow prisoner whispered, “Tiny died this morning.” The next week all the women Corrie's age were ordered to be killed.

I told you all of that to tell you this. Today the Preacher said we must get tough! We will not be able to stand against what is coming on this world, especially against Christians. If you get upset over little things and want to give up, you will not make it in the days ahead. This was an outstanding, timely message. The scripture text was from Jeremiah 12:5, “If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?” We must get strong in the Lord to make it when persecution comes on this world. The World has nothing to make you strong for the day that is coming. It must come from the Lord. He is our ONLY HOPE.

As many gathered in the altar and the Pastor prayed for each person, his wife was singing softly about the Hiding Place, the secret place for those who are in Christ Jesus. We had come full circle to the thoughts God gave me yesterday morning. “The Hiding Place” is the first book I read by Corrie Ten Boom. I believe God wants us to get stronger than what we are now. People who have suffered much are the strongest. Troubles and trials can make or break you. Don't give up but press on knowing that Jesus never leaves you.…

Ephesians 6:10, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”

A Revelation Of Our Future!

Ephesians 5:17, “Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. 18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

God wants to use you wherever you are if you are a disciple of Christ. God needs and wants individuals who are willing to serve right where they are. However, we must have a revelation of our future and where God wants to take us today. There is so much that the Lord wants to reveal to us if we will only position ourselves spiritually where we will hear Him. How does He want to manifest His glory in your life today? Who does He want to bless through you today? Whose life is He going to change for eternity through you today?

In Ephesians 5:15, Paul admonished his hearers to walk diligently or to be engaged, not being foolish, but wise. The original word for “wise” is “Sophos” which means “skilled.” Paul is admonishing us as hearers of the Word to walk diligently or be engaged by the Holy Ghost and by the Spirit to be wise or skilled in forming the best plans and using the best means for their execution. It is time to lay aside all our plans and ask God to make us part of His plan.

Paul said in verse 16, that we should make the best use of our time because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:18, “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.” We must allow the Holy Ghost to have His freedom to do God’s work in us. We can’t be distracted by the carnal environment in the world. Be full of the Spirit! “...be filled with the Spirit,” that there is no room for carnal influence.

We must be about the Father’s business. Our time is getting short! We must walk diligently, be engaged by the Holy Ghost and allow Him to form in us the best plans and use the best means for execution. For that reason, I offer this prayer:

“Help me Lord Jesus to see Your future in me. Let me not be deterred by the noise of our secular society. There are many issues that cry out for attention but the most important ‘cause’ is still the salvation of the lost. Oh, Holy Spirit send your convicting power among us. Awaken the slumbering souls around us. Stir our churches to be yielded to Your move. Give us compassion to stand in the gap for the lost and suffering. You know every need that exists within the sphere of our influence. Reveal those needs to the Body of Christ and convict us individually to become engaged in Your plan to deliver and bring victory to whosoever will be drawn to You. In the Name of Jesus! Amen”

Be Strong In The Lord, In The Power Of His Might! by Myra Boozer

(Note: this was written in 2018 and is just as relevant for today!)

It is just so amazing to me what I have on my mind when I awake most mornings. Some thoughts stay with me all day long. Saturday morning I was thinking of Corrie Ten Boom and what a spiritual hero she is to me. I thought of her sufferings and her great faith. I thought about how strong she was and could I ever be that strong in the face of severe persecution (which we may face in the near future, as Christians).

As I went to the kitchen, Bill was asking if I wanted to get out of the house and go to "Yard Sales." That used to be a big part of my life. Not so much anymore. I have more than enough stuff already. Well, we went and very quickly I found a book that I had to have. The only one that interested me. It is Life Lessons from Corrie Ten Boom. The Lord set me up for that one.

As I was reading from the "Exclusive 3-in-1 Edition," of course being of my nature, I did not start at the front of the book. I opened it about three-fourths of the way into it. Excerpts from the book, “It was a week after Betsie had died in Ravensbruck that I took my place in the ranks of women prisoners standing together in the icy cold of the early morning. ‘66730!’ That is my number, I said weakly as we took our place for roll call. ‘Ten Boom, Cornelia.’ That is my name. I thought how strange that they would call me by name when they always addressed us by number! ‘Come forward.’ We were falling in line for the roll call. Ten in a line, every hundredth woman, one step forward. My friends looked at me sadly. What does it mean? I asked inwardly. Punishment...freedom...the gas chamber...sent to another concentration camp?”

The rest is in my words. A young German girl shouted number 66730. Corrie stepped forward and was told where to stand. She was sent to the far right, away from the crowd where now she could feel the bitter cold wind whipping through her ragged prison dress. Another girl, young and frightened was sent to stand beside her. Roll call took 3 hours and they were almost frozen. Corrie asked through chattering teeth, "Why must I stand here?" The girl’s answer was barely audible as it came from her blue lips. "Death sentence."

Corrie turned to the Lord, "Perhaps I'll see You soon face to face like Betsie does now Lord. Let it not be too cruel a killing. Not gas Lord, nor hanging. I prefer shooting. It is so quick. You see something, you hear something and it is finished." Then as she looked at the girl, Corrie said, "Lord, this is perhaps the last chance I will have to bring someone to you before I arrive in heaven. Use me Lord. Give me all the love and wisdom I need. She then asked the girl her name. She said Tiny, and she had been there 2 years. Corrie asked her, “Did you ever read the Bible?” Her answer was no, she did not. Corrie asked, "Do you believe God exists?” She said she did and wished she knew more about him and asked Corrie if she knew Him? Corrie began to tell her. "Jesus is always with us" and about the miracle he did in taking all her hatred and bitterness for her enemies. Jesus is willing to bring into our hearts God's love through His Holy Spirit. Corrie said it was a miracle that she had a chance to explain many things about Jesus. "The prisoners behind us listened too. I felt happy. Perhaps this was my last chance in life, but what joy!" She accepted Jesus and Corrie told her, you now have a friend who never leaves you alone. (continued)

Jesus Christ Is Our Only Hope! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 4/10/24)

A people who reject God will be given over to their own devices and suffer the consequences. The structure of the family has disintegrated because we have not followed God. The health of our churches is diminished and some have expired because we have not followed God. Every institution, every governing body at every level has depreciated in value and relevance because we have not followed God.

Is that what we want? Do we want to be abandoned by our Creator and go it all alone? I think not! So then, what are we to do? Moral fortitude and intellectual rhetoric can not address the plague of sin that has consumed mankind. The answer to our needs cannot be legislated, addressed by executive order, or resolved by a ruling of the highest court in the land. None of these actions can put us back on course as the human race. But, there is Hope! That Hope is the Lord Jesus Christ!

The problems of our civilization are spiritual! The issues we face require supernatural intervention! Our only hope is the Lord Jesus! Let the Church call unto Him as never before. Petition Him in fervent prayer until we experience the moving of the Holy Ghost that will change our world as He did in the first century! Our future will be determined by what we do HERE and NOW! Jeremiah 33:2, “Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; 3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”

Father God, Lord God Almighty, Father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Almighty Creator Jehovah, we come in the name of your only begotten Son, Jesus. Thank you for Providential guidance and revelation. Thank you for the Peace that passes all human understanding which is the experience of a right relationship with you. It is there that we take shelter from the raging storm of this world! Jesus Christ Is Our Only Hope!

There Is A War Going On! by Myra Boozer

One day we are going to throw off this mortal man, this fleshly body we live in, and we will put on the immortal man, the one that never dies. But, until that time we stay in a battle. Our fleshly man is warring against our spiritual man.

As Christians, we must keep the fleshly, carnal man under subjection. He is NOT to rule our life because our spiritual man is to guide us! We must surrender our thoughts, our plans, and our desires to Jesus. He will help us to make wise choices and decisions.

If we feed the carnal man all the things he desires, such as, "do whatever feels good," "fit in with the crowd," "live it up while you can," and "remember life is short and you deserve everything you can get." When these thoughts are accepted as the way to live, you make your carnal man to be the STRONG man.

If we feed the spiritual man what he desires, He will feast on God's word, His commandments, His Truth, and His Love. We will make sacrifices, give time to love others, and deny ourselves. We will speak when the Spirit says to speak and be silent when He says to be silent. We will yield ourselves to be a vessel unto honor.

We will live a life not for ourselves but for JESUS. He will be the STRONG man in our lives. You may think it hasn't been that important up till now. But, the battle is getting stronger each day that passes. Your spirit man may have had a little strength but it is time for MUCH strength. The carnal man is not even a candidate for this battle because it is a great Spiritual battle! This is a battle that will not be fought in the natural or physical body. It is definitely fought in the Spirit!

Romans 8:6, “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.” There Is A War Going On!

Jesus Christ Is Our Only Hope!

Matthew 7:24, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.”

Evil and sin have come upon us as a mighty hurricane and are methodically destroying everything in its path. Destruction howls like the wind, undermining the very foundation of all that we admire and trust. Evil lurches out at the family devouring the cohesiveness of love, trust, and communication creating walls of isolation, unbelief, contempt, and neutralizing the principles upon which our very existence is founded. Evil strikes at the heart of the governing bodies of our societies. Darkness has crept into our educational systems and infected every level of governance reaching to the seat of our national and international governments.

The education of our children will invariably affect our nation and ultimately the world. What we teach in our homes, churches, schools, and universities will create the mindset for succeeding generations. The guiding principles of our forefathers are strategic and indispensable elements to the continued survival of this nation as we have known it. The ideals of love of God and country have sustained us in all conflicts throughout our history. If we allow the name of God to be maligned and degraded, we are setting the example for the next generation. If we allow the principles of personal freedom and liberty that this nation was founded upon to be diluted and discarded, we will pay the price in defeat and ruin. (continued)

The World Must Hear God's Truth! by Myra Boozer

2 Peter 2:17, “These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. 18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.”

Why do many churches compromise, neglect, forget and even reject the Bible standard? They didn't start out that way but little by little the compromise began. Slowly the TRUTH was neglected and forgotten until in many cases, completely REJECTED.

It truly breaks my heart to see so many falling away from THE TRUTH that was once delivered to the saints. This is a prominent SIGN of the last days. Many are following those who crept in unaware and diluted, watered down the teachings of Jesus Christ. Those who changed the meaning of what the Word actually says to fit their own lustful desires. Innocent people in search of TRUTH will blindly follow those who are ungodly, unholy, unrighteous, those speaking lies and taking advantage of people. We are warned in the Word to be aware of such people and have no part with them.

2 Peter chapter 2 speaks of these false prophets. People deserve TRUTH! TRUTH should be prevalent in every church preaching Jesus Christ because He said, “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE,” John 24:6. Be aware...it is NOT being taught! People have followed their own ways and still operate under the guise of being "Christian” churches.

BUT know this, we have the WORD OF GOD! Get into the WORD! Study and know for yourself what God expects from you. Turn your life over to him, seek Him until you are filled with His Spirit. It takes His Spirit to understand His Word. Then listen to His voice. In all your ways acknowledge HIM, obey HIM. He said He would direct your paths and lead you in TRUTH...The World Must Hear God’s Truth!

The Soul Cries Out For Freedom!

Hebrews 12:1, “...let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”

The soul cries out for freedom, freedom from sin’s influence, and sin’s wages. The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life.  Disobedience is sin and sin is a weight that paralyzes our attempts to be right and live right.

We need to identify our struggles in life and decide that we will not entertain the influences of sin. And, neither can any person if he or she wants to truly be free. Sin is a weight! Its destructive power is like a malignant cancer with its invasive tentacles reaching into every fiber of the human body. The cancer must be identified and eradicated.

It is the work of the Holy Spirit to identify sin. It is the work of the same Holy Spirit to destroy the power of sin. He does that when we repent and walk in the light of the Word. He does that because of the power of the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ. Accept the saving grace of Christ and don’t look back. By faith in the finished work of the blood of Jesus, tell Satan that he has no hold in your life. Tell him he can no longer exert his influence in your life. You need to decide that he is not welcome and he needs to feel the indignation of the Holy Spirit’s disapproval.

Submit yourself completely to the leadership of God, resist Satan’s influence and he will flee from you. James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.” In the preceding verses, James addresses the pride that exists in the fleshly heart. God will not receive our proud boasting but if we will humble ourselves He will give us His grace. Humble yourself before God and He will lift you above your storm and you will experience the Freedom your Soul Cries Out For!

God, Your Beautiful World Is My Stage! by Myra Boozer

James 1:17, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of Lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."

I love your beautiful world with all the splendor and majestic beauty, even in my backyard. The birds singing and the doves cooing wake me most mornings. I am made to smile as I see the big rabbit sitting and eating clover seemingly unconcerned about the world and all the turmoil. I especially love the red birds that grace us ever so often.

All your creation makes me smile despite the troubled path this world has taken. Your beautiful creatures have no worries because their trust is in you. I am reminded of your word, "Consider the lilies how they grow; they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?" Luke 12:27-28

Lord, you are so beyond my imagination. You are bigger than my mind can conceive, yet you formed me in my mother's womb...so small of a matter, yet with a plan in mind for my life. This is all such a mystery to me. I am in awe of your greatness. I consider myself blessed to be on your stage and perform the simple task of loving you and allowing you to be my director. As your creation, I so desire to put all my trust in you with no fear, no worries, and no reservations of what is going to be on program for the GRAN FINALE of my life!

Return To The Source Of Your Life!

John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

In the beginning, God was! Before anything, God was and He created all things including you and me. I feel that He is pulling us back to Himself as in 1 John 1:1, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;” He has been with us from the beginning of this journey and He wants us to understand that it is through Him that we will finish. There is no other power, presence, or virtue sufficient to complete our assignment. He will magnify our efforts and ministry as He receives the honor and glory for the results.

The Holy Spirit is calling, “Come wrap yourself in the power of His presence and allow Him to perform in you His glorious works!” I am weak but He is strong! If we allow Him to fully control our lives, we are made strong in our weakness because our weakness is God's strength. No enemy can stand against Him! There is no foe that He cannot overcome! No fortress can withstand Him and no opposition that He cannot vanquish!

Come, come to Him now! Run to Him now and allow him to wrap you in His mantle of authority and shelter you from the storms ahead. I hear the rumbling in the distance, the sound of a mighty army moving into position. It is a well-prepared force, each warrior is in his place and prepared to do his duty. There is no fear in their number because they have been washed clean. Though their sins were as crimson, their raiment is white as snow. And there is one with them whose name no one can know except that His eyes are a flaming fire and He is clothed with a vesture dipped in blood and His name is the Word of God. Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword to smite the nations and rule them with the rod of Truth and He tramples the wine-press of the wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His garment and on His thigh written the name, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. At His appearing every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that JESUS IS LORD!

As He Said! by Myra Boozer

Matthew 28:6, "And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said, Come, see the place where the Lord lay."

No, He is not here! But, He is coming to take us where He is, that we may be there also. This is only possible because of His Death and Resurrection.

Jesus paid the ultimate price for us to be with Him. We must desire to be with Him as much as He desires to be with us. It will take some sacrifice on our part. We must lay ourselves at his feet, surrendered to His will and to His ways. We should be always looking to Him for our direction, believing in the Word He has spoken, and trusting in His plan for our life. Remember the words He spoke about "watching and waiting." Matthew 24:44, "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."

He is Alive! He is risen! He is Coming Soon!

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go I will come again and receive you, unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also," Luke 14:1-3.

Are You Listening?

Matthew 13:13, “Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.”

Jesus spoke to His generation in parables to better illustrate the Godly principles of the Kingdom of God. The religious leaders of Israel would not embrace those teachings which were the literal Word from God. They were learned men of the Scripture and should have made the connection between the prophecies of Messiah and His coming. They could have received the Gospel but chose to hang on to a dead religion. Their unwillingness to hear the Living Word of God doomed them to eternal death.

God is speaking to this generation. He is anointing His messengers to bring His Word to this people. God has so much He wants to tell us! He wants to prepare us for what is just ahead but many cannot hear. Why can they not hear? They hear the words, only the words! The Gospel is being preached! The Holy Ghost is warning of the end time! But, they are listening with their ears and not their heart. Jesus said, they have eyes to see but cannot see, they have ears to hear but cannot hear.

Just as that generation who heard the message of Jesus, rejected the truth of the Gospel, there are many who will hear this message and reject it. What happened to that generation? They missed their opportunity for salvation and deliverance by their Messiah because their religion closed their spiritual eyes and ears. I fear that there are some today who will miss this great opportunity to see the unrestrained revelation of Jesus their Savior because their religion has closed their eyes and ears to the Truth. Jesus is coming and soon.  Are you ready? Matthew 24:44, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” Are You Listening?

My Lion Of Judah! by Myra Boozer

Oh Father, not of myself, no good thing have I done to deserve you. You are what is Good in my life! You are my Bright and Morning Star! You shine bright even when the clouds are gray and the sun doesn't shine, when the storm clouds gather and the wind is howling.

I am settled in the fact that you are here with me even when I don't feel you, or see you. I feel great assurance of your presence.

Forever you reign and forever your love trails after me. Your heart beats inside of me, sometimes like a drum from the Islands.

The songs of jubilation and redemption come upon me like the rushing sounds of a great waterfall. My heart is made glad with such splendor. The sounds of Victory and Deliverance are mighty.

Like David of old, I sing a new song!

You will defeat the enemy, the one who is sly as a fox. You know where he lives and you have a mandate to capture and defeat him. Forever, he will be under your feet, defeated and destroyed! You Lord are the Lion of Judah and You Reign Forever!

Rev. 22:16, “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”

We Serve A Risen Savior!

Matt. 28:6, “He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”

Lyrics – I Serve a Risen Savior

He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today!

He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way.

He lives, He lives, salvation to impart!

You ask me how I know He lives?

He lives within my heart.

We serve a risen Savior. This is the central foundation stone of the Christian faith. It has present-day and eternal implications. Why is it important in our daily walk to understand that Jesus is alive? As our living Savior, “He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way.” The lines between reality and spirit often become blurred by our daily struggles! Jesus walks with us and we need spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear what He has to show us and what He has to say.

How many times in our struggle to discern the leadership of the Spirit are we overwhelmed by circumstances which obscure our vision of the Truth and interferes with our perception of God's revelation for us? We cannot afford to be so consumed with circumstances that we allow the enemy to steal the promises that God has given us.  We must always be aware that Christ is ever present with us.

It is possible that we stand in the presence of our HOPE for life's journey without realizing it? Jesus walks with His disciples! He is our SALVATION, our DELIVERANCE, our MIRACLE, and is presently walking with us! But can we see Him? Can we hear what He is saying? The WAY out, the DOOR is open but our spiritual vision is obscured by the circumstances. We see only what is visible to the natural eyes when Jesus is orchestrating His plan in the spiritual realm. Lord, open the eyes of our HEART that we may hear You and see what You are doing in us. Help us to know that we do not walk this path alone and that You are with us in each and every step we take. Thank you, Jesus. You are our faithful companion! We Serve A Risen Savior!
