Lord, Deliver Us From Evil! by Myra Boozer

Dear Lord, I ask that YOU help all Christians to stand strong against the evil in our world. Help us to not be shaken by what is coming and already here. We desire that nothing hinder us as we seek YOU.

May we trust YOU in these evil days. We desire to stand in the power of YOUR might against the enemy of our soul and the souls of our families. Lord may we receive wisdom to know how to share YOUR Gospel Message effectively.

Evil is on every hand trying to destroy every good work, especially the work of the righteous. Lord may we seek to be filled and overflowing with YOUR Spirit so that no evil spirit can enter our hearts.

We must rise up as Daniel and proclaim YOUR Word because it is power unto salvation. God, Your Word tells us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We stand on that truth! It tells us that we are made over-comers by YOUR blood and the word of our testimony.

We proclaim YOUR Word is truth! We cast our cares on YOU and delight ourselves in YOU. May faith continue to arise in our hearts as we send praises to YOUR throne. Deliver Us From Evil for thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory...Forever...Amen!.

Why Is Our World In Such A Chaotic State?

Joel 1:1, “The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel. 2 Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers? 3 Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation. 4 That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten. 5 Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth. 6 For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion. 7He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.”

Joel viewed this plague of locust as an invading army descending upon the nation of Israel as the judgment of God. The call had been given to repent and return to the theocratic rule of the Lord God Jehovah. Israel had refused and rebelled against God and God’s messengers.

Our world is descending into this pit of darkness at an alarming pace. We are now observing disorder and dissension at every level of governance. It began at the national levels and is bleeding down into the regional and local levels. It is affecting small communities and individual families.

The calamity and chaos will not stop! It will not go away! It will invariably come to your house and to mine unless the problem is addressed. As a people, we have a deep-seated spiritual problem! It goes down deep into the soul, embedding itself in the very heart of every human being. The root of the issue is SIN and an unwillingness to REPENT and TURN from that SIN. This plague and every plague of darkness draws its strength from SIN and REBELLION.

No person or group of people are immune from this disease of indifference, hatred, and darkness that has invaded our land. This is like the plague of locust described in the book of Joel. This plague will continue moving deliberately, methodically, and with absolute certainty unless it is challenged by the Power of Heaven.

Jesus placed His power and authority within the Body of Christ to address every ill of our ailing society. We must rise up in the power and authority of Jesus Christ and address the chaotic state of our world! We must rise up in prayer in the Holy Ghost and pray against this darkness. In the Name of Jesus, the Body of Christ has power over every demonic power and the very power of Satan himself. He can do nothing but cower in the darkness when we invoke the Name of Jesus. Jesus’ blood has conquered him and he knows he is defeated.

Philippians 2:10, “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;” Hell and the depth of everything in it will be cast down and give way for the Mighty Lion of Judah. Thanks be unto God who always gives us the victory over all things in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise God forever!

Beware The Apostate Church! by Myra Boozer

Today there are many apostate churches with their feel-good message of, come as you are, stay as you, God accepts you! This “NO need for a change of heart or lifestyle” is NOT from GOD but from Satan. It is the broad road that leads directly into hell and many are being fooled because no one will tell them the TRUTH. Matt. 7:13, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at:”

The sugar-coated preaching with no scriptural standard will not transform the life of a sinner! The Truth that Jesus speaks is OFFENSIVE to the sinner. Heb. 4:12, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

It is not a "feel good about your sin" MESSAGE but, “depart from sin, deny yourself, take up your CROSS and follow Christ” message. When true conviction comes to a person, it is the most UNCOMFORTABLE feeling in the world. The warm and fuzzy feeling will follow but not until after REPENTANCE.

God CONVICT the spiritually blind people who are doing a great injustice to those who are seeking the truth. They are enemies of the cross! They are your enemy! Don't listen to them and their spirit of error message. The Spiritually blind people are the workers of iniquity and their master is not GOD, no matter how many programs or Bible Studies they may have, no matter how many people attend their church, no matter how many mission programs they support. When a pastor and church promote anything more than the "turn from your wicked ways" message they are the apostate church teaching and preaching in error. Matt. 15:14, “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”

When a church is dead in its traditions, they do the same thing year after year and get the same results. The Spirit of Life is not flowing! It takes the anointing of the Holy Ghost to break the yoke of sin! Without the moving of Holy Ghost power to convince and convict the sinner, it becomes a club of people who still claim their sin but want to believe heaven is waiting for them. When the blind lead the blind they both fall in the ditch. If your church is sugar-coating the message, it is the apostate church! Get out, seek God, read His Word and allow the Spirit to transform you into His vessel of honor. Obey His voice as He leads you into all Truth…

John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

The Rebellion Of A Nation!

Matt. 21:28-32

Apostasy materializes in a series of errors. A nation, a church, a person does not fall into apostasy in an instant. It happens over time in which God will correct and give the opportunity to repent and return to the Truth.

The first error that these Jewish leaders made was to challenge the authority and plan of God. By rejecting Jesus, the Son of God, the Messiah sent by God, they were in full-blown rebellion against God who they claimed to serve.

That generation had witnessed the power of God through the miraculous acts that Jesus performed. Yet their lack of spiritual discernment compelled them to ask, “...By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority.” Matt. 21:23

That generation had witnessed the presentation of the King and the fulfillment of prophecy. Zechariah 9:9, “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.” See also, Matt. 21:5.

That generation had witnessed the purging of the Temple which is God’s chastisement of error. See Matt. 21:12-13. They had made the Temple into something that it was not intended to be, “a den of thieves” rather than “a house of prayer.” I am reminded of the dedication of the Temple that Solomon built. He built it for a habitation of God, a place where heaven and earth came together. 2 Chron. 7:1, “Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. 2And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD'S house.”

Apostasy is the result of rebellion. Man has fallen into apostasy because of the failure to correct his error in repentance and change. Jesus was speaking specifically to the nation of Israel. Israel paid a high price for their rebellion. They rejected their Messiah therefore God rejected them. Matt. 21:31, “...Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.” The same principle can be applied to any nation, any church, or any person. Our world society has challenged the authority and plan of God. And, more specifically this nation has walked away from God in open rebellion.

In the last century, our country has witnessed the manifest presence of God. From the isolated revivals of the Appalachians in the late 1800”s to the spiritual awakening of Azusa Street in the early 1900’s and beyond, this nation has witnessed the manifest presence of God. However, we should be concerned about our churches today and the lack of a visible witness of the power of God. We cannot rebel against the authority and plan of God and expect to walk in the power of God. We cannot walk away from the purity of His Word and expect the Holy Spirit to empower us.

If the Holy Spirit is to empower us there has to be a return to the conditions required by the Holy Scriptures. Those conditions can only inhabit the life of a repentant, regenerated, rededicated individual, church, or nation. The next move is yours! What will be your decision? The Rebellion Of A Nation!

The Last Days! by Myra Boozer

"This know also, that in the last days perilous (uncertain)times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous (desire, envy) boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent (without self- restraint especially in sexual activity) fierce (furious, enraged, vehement, cruel, insane, hellish) despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady,(intoxicating) highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers(various) lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was," 2 Timothy 3:1-9 KJV.

These are not my words but the words of God through His servant Timothy. The next chapter tells us "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the TRUTH, and shall be turned unto fables (a fictitious story, a falsehood),” 2 Timothy 4:3-4.

We are living in the last days! We are to preach the Word and remember these words, "And the LORD shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen," 2 Timothy 4:18.

Blow The Trumpet In Zion! The Day Of The Lord Is Near! Conclusion

Joel 2:1, “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;”

We are where we are today because the whole of mankind has turned away from the influence of God in their lives. Therefore the attributes of God that He would show forth in their lives are absent. That is why we continue to see the events of this week repeated again and again. Until there is a change of heart, lives will not change! The consequences are that we are doomed to repeat the failures of the past. We need help! The help and intervention that only God can give!

Go back to the beginning! God is the beginning and in Him, we live and move and have our being. He is the beginning, the beginning of time, the beginning of creation, the beginning of life, the beginning of man, the beginning of love, etc. James 1:16, “Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. 18Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” In this chapter, James is addressing the mortal weakness of man and his propensity to sin. And right in the middle, he plants this golden nugget. Sure there is imperfection all around us but our life comes from above, from the Father of lights who never changes and there is not even an allusion to His changing. He is always the same, consistent, loving, compassionate, powerful, delivering, victorious Father.

In the beginning, God! I feel that He is pulling us back to Himself as in 1 John 1:1, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;” He has been with us from the beginning of this journey and He wants us to understand that it is through Him that we will finish. There is no other power, presence or virtue sufficient to complete our assignment. He will magnify our efforts and ministry as He receives the honor and glory for the results.

The Holy Spirit is calling “come wrap yourself in the power of His presence and allow Him to perform in you His glorious works!” I am weak but He is strong. If we allow Him to fully control our lives, we are made strong in our weakness because our weakness is God's strength. There is no enemy that can stand against Him, there is no foe that He cannot overcome. There is no fortress that can withstand Him and no opposition that He cannot vanquish. Come, come to Him now. No! Run, run to Him now and allow him to wrap you in His mantle of authority and shelter you from the storms ahead.

I hear the rumbling in the distance, the sound of a mighty army moving into position. It is a well-prepared force, each warrior is in his place and prepared to do his duty. There is no fear in their number because they have been washed clean. Though their sins were as crimson, their raiment is white as snow. And there is one with them whose name no one can know except that His eyes are a flaming fire and He is clothed with a vesture dipped in blood and His name is the Word of God. Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword to smite the nations and rule them with the rod of Truth and He tramples the wine-press of the wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His garment and on His thigh written the name, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. At His appearing, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that JESUS IS LORD.

Today, we stand at a pivotal point in the history of this world. We are at the jumping-off place! We can either turn and run into the mercy and grace of God or continue down this evil and disobedient road right into the plans that Satan for us and those who follow along with us. Those plans are for our eternal destruction. Those plans will lead to a world ruled by the Prince of Darkness as he unleashes the demons and devils of hell to do his disastrous work. Turn while you have the opportunity. That door is already closing! How much time do we have?

Seek Ye First The Kingdom Of God! by Myra Boozer

Matt. 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

If you have been listening to the prosperity preaching, you may feel disappointed because your thousand dollar check didn't come in the mail last week. I am not looking for pie to fall from the sky for my family when it comes to our personal needs and wants. But I am expecting to receive just the right amount at the right time. God has promised us that He would never leave us nor forsake us. That, my friend, is what it is all about.

I'm reminded of an old song, “I never promised you a Rose Garden.” Too many people are looking for the Abundant Life to bring them much pleasure and prosperity. That is not the Abundant Life the Word tells us about. These things can become a ball and chain to distract, divert, and confuse you about Your Divine Purpose that God has for you alone. That is His main concern for us, “OUR PURPOSE IN HIM.”

But Myra, are you saying to desire NOTHING? NO, I am saying SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND THESE THINGS WILL BE ADDED UNTO YOU. Do you mean I can start looking for my "thousand dollars" check in the mail? No, but you can start looking for ALL your needs to be met according to His riches in Glory.

When everything looks barren and dead, God has prepared just what you need to sustain you and take you to your final destination, HIS HOME IN HEAVEN. Heaven will be more than we could ever dream or imagine, but that is not the reason I want to go there. I want to forever be in the presence of the Lord! There is where our soul will find rest. (see Psalm 23) Seek Ye First The Kingdom Of God!

Blow The Trumpet In Zion! The Day Of The Lord Is Near! Updated (part 3)

Joel 2:1, “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;”

The people instructed to correct the wrongs in their life, to deal with their stuff, the baggage they were dragging around. The priests, the ministers of the Lord were commanded to take the lead in this sacred work of penitence. They are compelled by the great weight of the national transgressions to stand weeping and praying between the porch and the altar. It was there in the open court that the priest, with his face toward the altar where the sacrifice was offered, turned his petition toward God in supplication for the sins of the people.

Joel's cry was to the elect, the chosen of God, His beloved. I feel in my spirit that we need to sound the alarm in Zion. Can we truly feel that we have obeyed God completely when there is such a great need in our world? A need for our altars to be filled with saint and sinner alike seeking God for divine revelation and intervention. We cannot complete our mission without Him. We need and must have a fresh wind of Holy Ghost power. As a whole, the Body of Christ must return to Pentecost and receive anew the power of the Holy Ghost. Then we are enabled to be actively engaged in this harvest.

Let us all cry out with the priests of God, “spare the people, oh Lord.” Joel's petition was to entreat God to deliver His people, not because they deserved it but for His own glory. Lord, restore your reputation in us. Let it be said that the Lord God Jehovah dwells among His people. That's what struck fear in the hearts of the enemies of God's people, that God was in their midst. The only thing that strikes fear in the heart of our arch-enemy, Satan is that God lives in us, that we are possessed by God's eternal spirit. Spare your people, Lord, that the heathen should not rule over them.

May God manifest himself within the daily lives of each believer. Through His abiding presence, we will throw off the encumbrances that have silently crept in. Throw off the doubt that has slipped in due to the lack of the manifestation of Christ's presence in the Church. Break the chains of oppression that has gripped us due to the lack of freedom in the Holy Ghost. Throw off the cloud of ignorance that has anesthetized us because of the lack of receiving a fresh word from God.

Wake us oh Lord to the full measure of your truth. We will not be content with only the similitude of truth. Baptize us in your truth. Immerse us in your person. Let us put on the Lord Jesus Christ and be a representation of Him because He is in us. (continued)

In The Morning Light! by Myra Boozer

In the morning light, things are so much clearer. I can see further than I expected. I see HOPE resting high up on the mountain, just waiting for me to come and save her from all the doubts that were lurking during the night. They are hiding under the rubble of yesterday's leftover trials and heartaches.

I can see her looking all radiant in the sunlight, where I couldn't see her at all in the midnight. She needs me to be her friend as she bids me come. But, more importantly, I need her. I could never face TODAY without HOPE.

With so much depression spreading over our world and people feeling helpless and hopeless, I pray they will look up and find HOPE in Jesus Christ. He is the answer to all our needs. He gives us the strength to press on even though the darkness comes and doubt is always hiding in the shadows.

HOPE remains steadfast! The secret is, “get up out of the rubble of despair and reach for her.” Yes, it takes effort but, your life is dependent upon YOU making the right choice. Hope isn't hiding from you! But, you must look for her! In The Morning Light!

The Day Of The Lord Is Near! Updated (part 2)

Joel 2:1, “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;”

Sanctify the people! The people were to prepare themselves for this solemn time. Under the law, they were to wash themselves and their clothes. They were commanded to cleanse themselves from all legal impurities, to have given sacrifice for all transgressions of the law. To be obedient was to be purged and made worthy to be presented before the Lord in His house.

They were instructed to correct the wrongs in their life, to deal with their stuff, the baggage they were dragging around. Why? Because a move toward correct living is indicative of a repentant heart. Does that mean that we must fix everything before God forgives us? No, but we must be moving in that direction.

Assemble the elders, children, ladies. No one should be excluded. Even the bridegroom and bride were to delay their festivities for this solemn assembly. Everything must stop and all attention to focus on the Lord of Glory.

The sad thing is that many people want to continue on being who they are and living like they are living. They want God to bless them where they are. They want the favor of God but they don't want to change. God will accept the sinner and forgive the sin but the sinning has to stop. Example: Some people accept that a woman can abort her unborn but living baby. As representatives of the Kingdom of God, we cannot accept the abortion of a living child. Nor can we accept leadership that promotes this violation of God's law. God has judged past generations for such flagrant disregard for human life and He will bring the sins of this generation into judgment as well.

Some people accept that homosexuality, same-sex marriage, and transgender lifestyles are tolerable. Many have embraced this new found freedom with open arms. As representatives of the Kingdom of God, we cannot accept these unholy lifestyles as the law of the land. And we can't accept or agree with any elected leader who supports it. We have to do everything that we can to stop this nonsense. We are mandated by God's Holy Word to come out from among them and be ye a separate people saith the Lord. We need to publish our Holy displeasure and let it be known that this nonsense needs to stop. What would Jesus do? He would forgive the sin but the sin must stop.

These two principles are sending the soul of this nation to hell, to say nothing of all the lying, cheating, stealing, killing, doping, adultery, fornication, all manner of sexual sins, and nefarious behavior. People want to live like that and then have the audacity to proclaim, “God bless the United States of America.” That is spitting in the face of our holy and righteous God. It is nothing short of blasphemous for humankind to embrace such unholy and ungodly behavior declaring evil good and good evil. God is not going to bless this nation without national repentance and a move back to God. Repent and return! (continued)

Looking For The Glorious Appearing! by Myra Boozer

The Rapture is the "Blessed Hope" while the Second Coming (Day of the Lord) is a Day to be greatly feared... Titus 2:13, "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;" (the Rapture)...Amos 5:18, "Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light." Isaiah 13:9, "Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it."

I do not believe the Rapture of the Church and the Second Coming to be the same event... We are getting closer every day to this great event (Rapture)...We must get ready and stay ready. Don't let anything get you off track! Many have already fallen away from the Truth...PRAY AND STUDY TO RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD OF TRUTH...

The Day Of The Lord Is Near! Updated (part 1)

Joel 2:1, “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;”

About the book of Joel

The imagery and symbolism in this book compare to the prophecies in Ezekiel, Daniel, and the book of Revelation. Although the prophecies addressed the historical future of Israel and Judah, like Ezekiel, Daniel and Revelation, Joel also addresses the role of Israel in the end times. Two major themes are: 1) the wrath of God's judgment upon disobedience and, 2) the restoration of Israel.

The call of Joel 2:1 is to awaken the people of Judah to the judgment of God hanging over their head. God sought through Joel to correct their Godless living and return them in repentance to Himself. Joel sees the drought and plague of locusts as judgment for the sins of Judah. There is a direct correlation between sin and judgment. Sin always exacts a tremendous price. How can people think they can live any way they choose and not reap the consequences of their choices? God created us with the freedom of choice but we must also understand that there are consequences attached to each choice.

The nation of Israel paid a great price for their disobedience and rebellion. Their power and influence as a nation began to decline before the end of the reign of Solomon. After Solomon's death, the leadership split into two groups, the Northern and Southern Kingdoms. The King of the Northern Kingdom, Israel, was Jeroboam. The King of the Southern Kingdom, Judah, was Rehoboam the son of Solomon. Neither Kingdom ever returned to the glory of the early days of Solomon's reign.

The Northern Kingdom, was captured by the Assyrians in 722 B.C. The Southern Kingdom fell, Jerusalem was destroyed and its King and people were carried away to Babylon by King Nebuchadnezzar in 587B.C. Both Israel and Judah suffered in captivity because of their unwillingness to heed the voice of God. They were given multiple opportunities to repent and return to God. Joel's message was written over 100 years before the captivity of Israel and about 250 years before the captivity of Judah.

Joel was not the only prophet that preached repent and return. The book of Amos is dated about 755 B.C., Jonah 760 B.C., Isaiah preached from 740 – 680 B.C., Hosea 710 B.C., Micah 700 B.C., Nahum from 663 – 612 B.C., Jeremiah 627 – 585 B.C., Zephaniah 625 B.C., Habakkuk 607 B.C., and Ezekiel 592 – 570 B.C. Israel and Judah were both destroyed because of their disobedience and rebellion against the laws of God and God was warning them all along the way. They refused to listen!

Joel 2:15, “Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: 16Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. 17Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?”

Here Joel repeated the call of 2:1 with the difference being a call to national repentance to be performed in a national gathering of all the people before the Lord. The priests were to proclaim a day of humiliation for all the people regardless of age or distinction. Joel summons all ranks and classes to assemble in the temple for this solemn service.

National sin is a common factor in God's execution of judgment but national repentance will bring God's forgiveness. 2 Chron. 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” However, national forgiveness requires national repentance. It was to begin with the leadership and go down the ranks to include everybody including the children.

Why were the children to be included? The children are the next generation and they will mirror the example of their parents. That is what has happened to our world. Over time, each generation has let the principles of God slip out of our societies. Consequently, we have an ungodly world society. Do you know why America has enjoyed the blessings of God since its inception in 1776? Because it was built upon the principles of God as outline in His Word. As a nation we have believed in Godly principles. Since the 50's and 60's our nation has been slowly slipping away from those foundational principles. The only hope for this nation and the world is to repent and return to Jesus Christ. On Christ the solid rock I stand; all other ground is sinking sand. "My Hope is Built on Nothing Less" by Edward Mote, 1797-1874. (continued)

Yesterday's Devotion! by Myra Boozer

Lord, write Your Words upon my heart today. As I sit under Your wonderful baby blue sky, I hear many sounds but the most prominent are the birds singing their songs of praise to You. The sun is shining thru the pines and the smell is so refreshing, pure, and clean. I feel a slight yet gentle breeze blowing upon this fleshly body. My own heart's beginning to sing of Your great splendor as I delight myself in your peaceful beauty and rest.

The beauty of your handiwork is so enormous! To think that You would create such a place for mankind to live, to love, and enjoy is amazing to me. I feel so honored to have been allowed to experience life, enjoy family, and to know you as my Lord and Savior.

How can anyone not believe in You? How can they see the beauty and the mystery of life and not know there is a much higher power and that power is You. You are the Lord God Almighty! You express yourself in all I see, in all I experience, and all I plan to experience in the days ahead.

I cannot find words to express my feelings about Your exceedingly great mercy for mankind. I am many times overtaken with grief for this beautiful world and the souls that don't seem to discern Your Coming and the culmination of all things. How can they not see, how can they not believe, how can they continue to resist Your tugging on their hearts. They only need to think rationally for a few moments to understand Your love, Your power, and Your plan for mankind.

Your love is superior to any love known to man. It cannot be duplicated or cloned by mortals. It flows from Your Holy Throne, pure and undefiled. There is no one like You. Your power is beyond all our imagination. No one is capable of keeping the oceans in place, hanging the stars out to shine just at the right time, send the rain or make a rainbow. You are perfect in all of Your ways and Your Kingdom is never-ending!

My God Is Awesome!

You are mighty Oh God in the midst of your people. Who can stand against Your beloved as You dwell among them? How Great and Mighty You are, Your Wonders ready to perform. Is anything too difficult for You? “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” Jeremiah 32:17. There is nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing that God can’t do. Put your faith and trust in Him today!

"Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit of God, when I survey the awesomeness of who you are, I stand in wonder of your person. You are the Creator of all things yet you are my Father. You are the Life and Sustainer of all things created yet you are my Life and more abundantly. You are my Way, my Truth, and my Life. In you, I live and move and have the entirety of my being. You are the power of Almighty God inhabited within the person of the Holy Spirit as witnessed in the book of Acts. Yet you are my Strength, my Power, my Comforter, my Teacher, my Paraclete. You are the Divine and Magnanimous Person who inhabits all of eternity yet you are my Friend, my Companion, my Heart and my Soul. There is no one like you!”

Psalm 46:1, “...God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.”

Distractions! by Myra Boozer

If you were at the Airport Terminal with your bags packed and your ticket in hand would you throw those things aside and grab a taxi and head back home to start a "makeover?" Would you tear down and build a bigger home and plant an orchard? Or start making plans for more training on how to build your career? Not really! Not if your mind and your heart were set, fixed, and determined to make the trip of your life. Say, a trip to your final destination, to the place that Jesus has gone to prepare for you.

Now mind you, we don’t know when the call will come to leave this earth but we can see all the signals are giving the go-ahead. Even if there is a delay at the airport, you don’t go back home. You stay sitting on ready because when the call is given you must be READY!

Are we getting Ready? Many distractions will come to us in many different forms. This is our great challenge, to NOT become entangled with the affairs of this life when we see that day fast approaching. Galatians 5:1, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." The affairs of this world can become a bondage to us, distracting us from our ultimate goal.

The call for all of God's people is about to happen. For all those "Departing" this sinful world, the call is about to be made. We are going HOME! 1Peter 4:7 "but the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer." We must be vigilant, alert, and listening for his call. Don't allow the sounds of Distractions to cause you to miss the Sound of His Coming...Be Ready!

Blow The Trumpet In Zion! Holy Ghost Transformation!

Romans 12:2, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Do not live according to the custom or pattern of this current age. We cannot follow the example of the world community and expect to draw near to God. The customs and behavior of our world system are repulsive to God. His command is, “Be ye holy; for I am holy” 1 Peter 1:16. And again in 2 Cor. 2:16, “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,..”

Our standard is God's standard as modeled in the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. Jesus became the new template, the new and better way and He delivered the plan in person. He became the living example through which those desiring God are transformed and enter into a living personal relationship with Him.

This transformation is initiated by the renewing of the mind. The Word states, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Phil. 2:5. Have the mind of Christ rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, and continuing instant in prayer. Walk in this life in Divine communion with the Father having continual access to His strength, power, wisdom, and deliverance. We cannot think like the world thinks and walk like the world walks and expect to be a citizen of the Kingdom of God. That is why we must experience a change in our temporal mindset, a spiritual transformation brought about by the Holy Ghost in response to our obedience and submission to Him. Thereby, we are restored to a level of communion that Adam experienced in the garden before his sin. We are regenerated by the Holy Spirit to walk in intimate, holy, and unrestrained relationship with God.

The result of our intimate union with God is to know His perfect will for our life. God has a good, acceptable and perfect will for each life He has created. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” Jer. 29:11. The reason many people never fully understand and experience God's plan for them is they lack that intimacy with God. Because of the mercy and grace of the cross, God will meet us where we are. The redemptive power of Jesus' blood will reach into the deepest darkness to rescue anyone, anywhere. But, we must be willing by the Holy Spirit to leave the darkness behind and step fully into the illuminating power of His Word. By embracing His Truth and walking in obedience the door is thrown fully open for intimate communion and revelation to “prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Thank you Jesus!

May I Use This Breath! by Myra Boozer

How beautiful are your ways oh Lord. Your Glory and your Good Pleasure are such a delight. I learn from the very air I breathe how vast your love is to all mankind and the creatures you have created. You blow upon this earth and we breathe. Our very Life is from your Breath. It is what sustains all of us!

Lord, may I use this breath you gave to sing Praises to you Holy Name, to lift you high above the Mountains that your own breath created? You spoke all things into existence. May my heart rejoice in your Beauty and Splendor for all of my days.

May I use this breath to call upon you in a time of surrender of my will to your perfect plan. Accept my hearts cry today for I am helpless, useless, and utterly lost without your Mercy. I am as one who is groping in the darkness without you.

May I use this breath to tell someone of your great love. Some do not know or else they have forgotten just how much you love them. May my breath speak your unlimited Love to all people everywhere.

May I use this breath to speak Your Truth to those who should be ashamed, ashamed for turning away from your plan and going after their own “design” for lifestyle and behavior.

May I use this breath to sound the Alarm for all those who are far from you. Some who just gave up and put down their armor. Others who just want to seek out an easy way, still claiming your Name. And yet others who have fallen asleep and do not know the times in which we live. As in the days of Noah, they see the conditions yet deny the judgment coming on all who sin.

May I use this breath to speak Hope to the hopeless and Life to the dying, Peace to the restless, and Joy to the sorrowful. May my words be uplifting and encouraging as I speak of your soon return for your Bride, Your Church, Your People, Your Chosen Ones.

May I use this breath to speak of your great treasures...the ones you have hidden in your Word...the hidden riches of secret places...that they may know that you are the Lord God of Israel...Amen and Amen…” May I Use This Breath!

Sustainability Through Your Revelation Of Jesus Christ! Part 4 Conclusion

Acts 27:33, “...Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. 34Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you...36Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat. 37And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls. 38And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.” The fast was concluded. They could take comfort that all would be saved and they were all (276) of good cheer. They continued in Faith and Obedience as they threw everything overboard to lighten the ship. They had done what they knew to do. Now was the time to allow the God Factor to bring the end to their storm. They took up the anchors and committed to the sea. Completely free of all encumbrances, completely sustained by the wind of God.

Acts 27:41, “And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves...43 the centurion...commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land: 44And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.” God's process will run its course and in the end, His purpose is secured. How many times in our own lives have we survived on the broken pieces of our ship? The storms have been strong and the struggle bitter but we have stayed with God and our end is secured!

The sustaining factor in Paul's life was his relationship with Christ and the fact that he walked in revelation and inspiration. Having an intellectual understanding of scripture can be an advantage. Passion and zeal have their place in the Gospel. And even our incomplete understanding of God's plan is a beginning that we can build upon. But the bottom line is that we must walk in the revelation of Jesus Christ if we are to experience His perfect plan for our lives. Just as Paul had his intimate encounter with Jesus, we must do the same! That is what sustained Paul and that is what will sustain us. Sustainability Through Your Revelation Of Jesus Christ! What Is Most Important To You? by Myra Boozer

It's not important what kind of house you live in or the kind of car you drive...
It's not important to me if you have a Masters degree or any formal education...
It's not important to me what kind of coffee you drink or the kind of soda you prefer...
It's not important to me if you support Alabama Football or never watch a game...
It's not important to me if you are a member of the largest Church...or the smallest...
It's not important to me if you can quote the whole Bible or If you've never learned a verse...
It's just not important to me...
WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO ME, IS THIS...
DO YOU HAVE A VITAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST AND KNOW HE IS COMING SOON…?
That is going to be ABSOLUTELY THE MOST IMPORTANT in the days just ahead...

Sustainability Through Your Revelation Of Jesus Christ! Part 3

Acts 27:21, “But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. 22And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship. 23For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, 24Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. 25Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me. 26Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.” Revelation from God ensures survival but there is still a requirement for individual participation. Three important elements of the God Factor come into play: Repentance, Faith, and Obedience.

Paul reminded his shipmates that they should have listened to him because it was more than Paul who had discouraged this voyage. It was God through Paul! How many times has God tried to warn us along our journey and we discounted the messenger who delivered the warning? But God always has the last word. We determine our outcome by our obedience or lack thereof! So, the first thing these sailors had to deal with was their decision to sail, admit that it was a mistake, and be willing to change directions and follow Christ. The Bible calls this concept, Repentance. Second, they had to believe what Paul was telling them. This was the beginning of their Faith which would sustain them in the coming days.

Acts 27:27, “But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down...29Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day. 30And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship, 31Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved. 32Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.” The third element of the God Factor was that they must stay in the ship continuing to exhibit faith in the revelation and Obedience to the man of God. God's plan of deliverance included the debris of the broken vessel, the vessel that had sustained them thus far. But they had to be willing to stay with the ship until she literally broke apart on the rocks. Those broken pieces became their salvation. When our circumstances are falling apart, we must stay true and obedient to God’s command in order to be saved. (continued). Jesus, My Redeemer! by Myra Boozer

Jesus, Redeemer of all mankind...
We lift your Name on High…
We sing Your song of Truth and Freedom...
We plant our hopes and dreams in the soil of Your Holy Word...
Your provision to care for this garden is etched deep into our hearts…
You are the Master Gardner of our souls...
You are the one who tends to the tender plants of our expectations...
You hold the sun in your hand and the rain is at your command...
The warmth comes in due season and the harvest will be plentiful...
You are always near and never far...
You are always there to guard against the storms and dangers that come to destroy...
You are the Hope of my heart today and forever...
I trust in YOU...

Sustainability Through Your Revelation Of Jesus Christ! Part 2

Paul stated that his intention was to press toward the mark. Phil. 3:14, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. 16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.” Paul knew from his experience that Christian growth is a daily challenge. He must have looked back many times to his Damascus road encounter with Jesus. That day, Paul received a revelation of who Jesus really was. He came face to face with the Son of God, the Redeemer of Israel, his Messiah and he knew it in the depth of his soul. That encounter was, no doubt, an indispensable strength to him as he ministered for Christ. And the Lord continued to speak to him and reveal His truth.

In Acts 27 Paul had requested an audience with Caesar. He was in the custody of a Roman centurion and on his way to Rome. Acts 27:10, “And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives. 11 Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul. 12 And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, and there to winter;” Paul had a revelation regarding this journey, but the centurion chose to listen to the captain rather than Paul. Why? Because it was not convenient to winter there, they wanted to proceed to Crete. Circumstance inspired them to continue on their journey rather than give heed to the revelation by the man of God. Inspiration that is driven by circumstance usually comes out of our own personal desire and intellect and usually does not end well.

Acts 27:13, “And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete.” This again speaks to circumstance. A temporary change in circumstance can lull us into Satan's plan...v14, “But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind...18 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship; 19 And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship. 20 And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.”

Three days and nights in the storm and now all is lost and there is no hope except for God! They were not including the God Factor. They drew these conclusions based on their knowledge and the circumstances. Many times our knowledge is not sufficient to draw the appropriate conclusion from our circumstance. Then we must go to God for revelation knowledge to chart the appropriate course. (continued). The Message: A Critical Review Of End Time Events, p 19-20, available at Amazon.com.

There Is A Storm On The Horizon! by Myra Boozer

The winds of false doctrine are building into a spiritual tornado. They are destroying every soul that has not built themselves up in the faith that was once delivered to the saints. The storm clouds gather as the gross darkness cannot hide any longer from this world. The Word tells us in Isaiah 60:2, "For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people..." As it feeds on the sinful nature that has so viciously spread though our land, it is building in momentum. It is rapidly moving in! Can you hear the distant thunder?

As a storm on the horizon, it was beautiful in its conception. The colors were vibrant and vivid. But, mixed with the Winds of False Doctrine, the spinning has begun and the loud sounds of horror have intertwined with the fierce lightening of Satan himself. Many have already been deceived and destroyed.

As they have gathered on the sea of time the false teachers and preachers have devised their own way to get to God other than through His Son, Jesus Christ. They have tried to rebuke the winds of sorrow in their own carnal voice and have seen no results. Speaking great mysteries and giving interpretations from their own carnal voice, they have produced many different answers for our day. They build each other up in the false security that God is with them when He is not.

They teach the multitudes that they are to have all their mind can conceive in riches and wealth. They teach them that a loving God has forgiven all the sins committed in the past, present, and future. NOT SO! All sin must be repented of, as the Holy Spirit convicts the heart.

They are heaping judgment upon themselves and all who are listening to them. The book of Jude tells us we may save some with fear pulling them out of the fire. This is my sole purpose for writing this post! Maybe someone will began to read and study the Word for themselves and not be destroyed by this great storm of DECEPTION that is sweeping over the world. There Is A Storm On The Horizon!

Sustainability Through Your Revelation Of Jesus Christ!

Ephesians 2:19, “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.”

It is imperative that we build our faith, our system of belief upon the revelation of Jesus Christ. “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.” What we believe must be supported by the Word of God as taught and modeled by Jesus. He is our secure and eternal foundation. He is the only source of survival in this spiritual war.

There is a delicate balance in pursuing God into His revelation and pursuing our own inspiration. The determining factor is the anointing of the Holy Ghost. God will anoint His revelation and Holy Ghost inspiration but He will not anoint inspiration that is born out of our human intellect. His anointing signifies recognition and approval. We must secure the anointing of God upon our message. If not, our message is not God's message. The goal for all should be to be one with Christ in desire, purpose and message.

There is much to be said about the influence of our religious heritage. However, I don't want to be stuck (consumed) in religious tradition but neither do I want to lose the spiritual virtue of past generations. It is important to understand that all of us are continuing to evolve into the people that God desires that we become. And just as important that we understand that the Bride of Christ continues to evolve. Eph. 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Paul says that Christ loves the Church and gave Himself for it that the process of making her ready might be accomplished by the washing of the Word. God's plan for the Body is set in stone IE., in the Word. It will not change but we, the frail human characters that we are, must find His perfect plan for us.

In our search for God's perfect plan, we must remain flexible (fluid, pliable). A healthy tree can remain strong in the storm but if there is disease and rot the storm will expose that weakness. The storms are coming and only the spiritual virtue of our heritage in Christ can sustain us. Any other foundation will crumble and fall under the pressure of the storm. If we walk in obedience to God, we have an appointed end as described by Jeremiah. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end,” Jer. 29:11. We can know our outcome if we will put our faith in Jesus. (continued)

Jesus Is More Than Enough! by Myra Boozer

John 4:13, “Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

I found this statement a while ago and it has been an inspiration...."God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him." When the desires of this world can fade away like a fog lifting off the valley, I believe that we find a new perspective about life, love, and our relationship with others, especially God. He just fills our every longing and desire. We no longer are pushed and pressured into needing anything except Him and His presence. It is no longer about me and what I must attain or receive from this world. He becomes my focus. He brings my life to the fullest and my heart can sing in the midst of chaos, because I know He Is More Than Enough for today, tomorrow and forever...and He always has leftovers...His storehouse is FULL...

In The Name Of Jesus!

John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

There is power in the name of Jesus! There is power to break every chain. Power to live for Christ and walk in unbridled victory. Free to flow in the Spirit and experience His presence from glory to glory. He leads us up, higher, and higher into His Majesty. For having been exposed to His glorious Light we will never be the same.

We are changed in His presence. We can never be the same once His glory has shown upon us. We are changed forever and He has planted such a desire to reach higher. His presence is so addictive that no sooner than you walk away, you have an unquenchable need to return.

And we can return again and again. There is no limit to the glory we can experience in His presence. Simply come to Him in obedience and submission and He will carry you to heights previously unknown. He will reveal to you truths you haven't understood and emotions you've never experienced. But most of all He will reveal Himself to you and in you so that the world around you can see Him and be touched by Him, “that the father may be glorified in the Son.”

Put Your Trust In Jesus! by Myra Boozer

In light of the events of the past few weeks, I want to offer this prayer.

I pray we give our attention to God more than ever and stand with Him and His Holy Word...I pray we give time to those around us as though they are family and depending on us...I pray for strength and encouragement to come just at our time of need...I pray for love to send forth its power to bring in the lonely and the hurting from the cold that has settled on our world...I pray for truth to invade our lives as a strong and mighty wind stirring in our souls...I pray for unity to prevail in the hearts of all believers so that the world might see and know that God is alive and working among us...I pray for peace to surround us like a strong light coming from the throne room of God...I pray for joy, the kind that is deep-rooted and cannot be shaken by the howling of the enemy...I pray for eyes to see the beauty that is in everything we hold...I pray for ears to hear the whispers of our babies as they pull on our heartstrings and long to be close to us...I pray for guidance from above as we travel the road we have never traveled before...It is all new and our hearts are excited but our minds question what lies ahead for each and every one of us...Trust in Him who will not leave you...Put Your Trust In Jesus!”

God Knows The Way We Should Take!

Job 23:10, “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. 11 My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. 12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.”

As I observe the behavior of the world around me, I must conclude there seems to be a mad dash of lost humanity into their eternal destiny without regard for the preservation of their eternal souls. Life is precious and a gift from God. No one has the right to take away that gift!

We are living in an era when a majority of people support the killing of innocent children in the womb and then are horrified when someone takes a gun to school and massacres those innocent lives. Our world has created an atmosphere in which reverence for life has been greatly diminished for some and for others it is destroyed altogether. The weight is heavy upon us to sound the alarm and awaken lost humanity to the consequences of our apathy in this arena of life. We cannot attach value to life in one instance while devaluing life in another! We are reaping the result of our inconsistencies.

It is time to take a stand! As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must proclaim the call of God to come back to the principles of His Word. The path before us is unknown, however, the way ahead is not uncharted territory. We have never been this way before, but we can proceed with full assurance that God knows where we are going. God has something to say and a work to perform in this generation! If we have covenanted to walk with Him, we are going where He is going. God has gone before us and created our map in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Way! John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” If we follow Him, He will lead us in His path. He knows the way we should take!

There is no need to flounder in a climate of indecision when the answer is with us. Let us not be deterred by the uncertainties that lie before us but concern ourselves with the cause of Jesus Christ. He loves each and every person and has placed great value on each soul by giving His own life to bring life to the lifeless. We may not know the specifics of our future but we can be sure that if our faith is in the saving grace of the cross, we will finish well! God Knows The Way We Should Take!

It's Time To Come Home!

In the book of Luke, chapter 15, a certain man had two sons. The youngest of them decided he wanted to go out and make his mark in the world. So he took his portion of his father’s goods and went away into a far country. There he wasted his inheritance in riotous living. “And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want,” Luke 15:14. He found himself living with pigs and no one would help him. However, it was while he suffered in those deplorable conditions that his sense of home returned to him. Luke 15:17, “And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father.”

In that terrible place and demeaning position he began to think about home and the pleasant memories of serving in his father's house. He came to his right senses saying, “I will arise and go to my father...” v17. His sense of guilt and remorse brought him to a state of repentance making him willing to be a servant in his father's house. He left his deplorable life and returned to his father. His father received him with open arms declaring, “...my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry,” v.24.

It’s Time To Come Home! It doesn’t matter where you are or how deplorable your life. Your Heavenly Father wants you to know that He loves you and stands waiting with His arms open, ready to welcome you home. Come on home son or daughter! Your provision is in Your Father’s house!

John 6:35, “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”

Discerning Light From Darkness! Conclusion

In Acts 13 we read about the beginning of Paul’s missionary ministry. The leading and anointing of the Holy Ghost was an integral part of Paul’s ministry and gave him the advantage of discerning Light from Darkness. Acts 13:2, “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. 4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.” Notice that it was the Holy Ghost that made the selection and the Holy Ghost that gave the assignment. We must lay our plans aside and petition God to make us part of His Plan.

They preached the Word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. A certain deputy of the country called for Paul and Barnabas desiring to hear the Word of God. A certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus opposed them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Acts 13:9, “Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, 10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? 11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. 12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.” The reality of this passage is that those who oppose Jesus Christ really do walk in darkness. The decree of the Holy Ghost brought to fruition the physical reality that the sorcerer was truly walking in spiritual darkness.

The Holy Spirit discerned the “darkness” and called it out. In the power of the Spirit, the darkness was defined and confined. There is no further mention of Bar-jesus in the Bible.

The lesson to be learned here is that the judgment of God is sure and final. This was God’s Plan! The Holy Ghost did the choosing and gave the assignment. Therefore, Paul’s mission was under the mantel of Christ and without limitation. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must walk in the Light as the Holy Ghost leads and move in the anointing of His assignment. He will discern the Darkness, Define, and Confine. By the power of the Spirit, the power of darkness will be revealed and deposed! By The Holy Ghost, we will Discern Light From Darkness!
