The Last Days! by Myra Boozer

"This know also, that in the last days perilous (uncertain)times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous (desire, envy) boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent (without self-restraint especially in sexual activity) fierce (furious, enraged, vehement, cruel, insane, hellish) despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady,(intoxicating) highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers(various) lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was," 2 Timothy 3:1-9 KJV.

These are not my words but the words of God through His servant. The next chapter tells us "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the TRUTH, and shall be turned unto fables (a fictitious story, a falsehood),” 2 Timothy 4:3-4.

We are living in the last days! We are to preach the Word and remember these words, "And the LORD shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen," 2 Timothy 4:18. 

Reaping The End Time Harvest! Conclusion

As Spirit-filled believers, we stand in the power of God. Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” The word “power” in Greek is dunamis and is defined as strength, power, ability, inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature. The power that Jesus promised is the inherent power of the Holy Ghost. His very nature is power.

Satan has invaded our house and has stolen precious treasures that belong to us. He has taken our health, our relationships, our time, our talents and abilities, our finances, and our family members both physical and spiritual. We must stop him! We can stop him in the Power of the Holy Spirit! We can and must take back what he has stolen!

By the power of the Holy Spirit, we are loosed. Acts 2:2, “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” With the power and might of a great wind, the Holy Spirit filled the house. By the power of Almighty God, the door of Satan's prison springs open and we are free. I am reminded of Paul and Silas in Acts 16:26, “And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed” KJV. Several of the other translations read that the earthquake was so violent that the doors flew open and the chains were loosed and fell off. The Spirit of God that possesses our mortal body has broken the chains and opened the barred doors.

Thank God we are free! Free to Reap This End Time Harvest! Go in the power of His Spirit! There is no entity, power, or device that can withstand His Power. All others must bow before Him in submissive obedience! 

Lord, Deliver Us From Evil! by Myra Boozer

Dear Lord, I ask that YOU help all Christians to stand strong against the evil in our world. Help us to not be shaken by what is coming and already here. We desire that nothing hinder us as we seek YOU.

May we trust YOU in these evil days. We desire to stand in the power of YOUR might against the enemy of our soul and the souls of our families. Lord may we receive wisdom to know how to share YOUR Gospel Message effectively.

Evil is on every hand trying to destroy every good work, especially the work of the righteous. Lord may we seek to be filled and overflowing with YOUR Spirit so that no evil spirit can enter our hearts.

We must rise up as Daniel and proclaim YOUR Word because it is the power unto salvation. Lord Jesus, Your Word tells us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We stand on that truth! It tells us that we are made over-comers by YOUR blood and the word of our testimony.

We proclaim YOUR Word is Truth! We cast our cares on YOU and delight ourselves in YOU. May faith continue to arise in our hearts as we send praises to YOUR throne. Deliver Us From Evil for Thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory...Forever...Amen

Reaping The End Time Harvest!

Matthew 9:36, “But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”

We are continually challenged by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to be an active participant in this end-time Harvest. Jesus looked upon the multitudes of people and was moved by compassion because He saw them as sheep without a shepherd. They needed the guidance and provision that a shepherd would provide for his fold. This is such a fitting example for the Church and our world today! Multitudes scamper about without a clue where they are going. We must sound the alarm to snatch them out of eternal fire! Each one of us must be actively engaged in this Harvest!

We live in a fallen world, broken by sin and disobedience. What the world is experiencing now and will experience in the immediate future is the result of sowing the seeds of sin. We are reaping and will reap according to our obedience to God or the lack thereof. Consequently, the upheaval and chaos is the judgment of God. God's judgment is perfect! If we sow seeds of sin, we will reap a reward for sin. If we sow righteous seed, we will reap a righteous reward.

There is a second element to this judgment. It is Harvest! As the Body of Christ, our focus should be on the coming judgment as it relates to the Harvest. God is pressing us into the Harvest. We can allow the events taking place in our world to cause us to shrink back into a defensive posture or through prayer, we can rise up to launch an offensive thrust into the Harvest. We can utilize the impending sentence of judgment as a tool to motivate believers and nonbelievers alike. This judgment can motivate believers to enter into intercessory prayer, be empowered by the ever-abiding presence of the Holy Ghost, and become actively engaged in the Harvest. This judgment can motivate nonbelievers to make the decision about their eternal destiny. It is repent and come to Jesus Christ or suffer the consequences.

God has given us this day. It is His gift to us to use for His Glory! We must walk with Him today, seek His direction and anointing and follow Him into His Harvest. He wants us to continue in His awesome presence. We must stay the course and push forward. The Holy Spirit is calling for a new spiritual offensive. The Body of Christ is being attacked as never before in our lifetime. It is time to take the fight to the enemy. I have always heard “the best defense is a good offense.” Will we dare to enter the enemy's camp? Will we dare to take back what the enemy has stolen? We must! I feel compelled to do that very thing. You Can't Forgive Yourself! by Myra Boozer

I have heard people say to a new Christian, “God has forgiven you, now you need to forgive yourself! That sounds easy enough. Have you ever tried it? I don't see myself having that ability to rid myself of the guilt. You will go around and around in circles with a sense of maybe I did and perhaps I didn't forgive myself, with no real relief.

Truth is, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit," Romans 8:1. When you allow God to forgive you and you receive His peace and His acceptance, the weight of sin and its guilt is lifted off your life. You should feel a release from the "forgive yourself" statement. If not, keep praying, and allow God to do His complete work in you.

With many situations in our life, we may see that we come up short in what the Word says about right living. We can either go to the Lord in repentance or carry guilt and listen to that nagging voice of condemnation. Our confession and His forgiveness lifts our burden of guilt! Sometimes it's not necessarily a "sin" but a feeling of failure, error, mistake, or neglect. When we don't go to the Lord, sometimes Satan uses these BIG and little "boo-boos" to DESTROY us, filling us with guilt and giving us no way out.

As the guilt grows it becomes a weight and a hindrance to our testimony, all the while some may feel, "now I need to forgive myself." There are no walls, no barriers, or barricades to keep us from the cross on any given day. We are free to fall before the Lord and tell him all our feelings, allowing Him to deal with us, correct us and cleanse the guilt that tries to destroy us. This is the remedy for condemnation.

God gives us a fresh new start with Hope and a clean slate with no guilt which Satan has used so viciously against us. The fact that we must somehow "forgive ourselves" is not possible. Satan is a liar and the truth is not in him. When God forgives us, He cast all our sins, guilt, and shame as far as the east is from the west. Only the Lord can take the Guilt away. We don't have that ability...

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold all things become new."  2 Corinthians 5:17

The Power Of The Gospel Is Truth!

Paul proclaimed in Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:..” Paul declared boldly that the Gospel is the power of God to bring men unto salvation. The power of the Gospel is that TRUTH! That is the pure, undefiled TRUTH! It is that pure message that will set every man free who believes God’s promise and places their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ!

Any deviation from the Truth of God’s Word will annul its power to accomplish its intended purpose in us and whoever we might affect. The only way to walk in the power of His Spirit is to embrace His TRUTH without amendment. Jesus declared to John in His Revelation 22:18, “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” It says what it says and means what it means! We must embrace His TRUTH if we are to hear Him say, “...Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord,” Matt. 25:21.

Signs Of The Times! by Myra Boozer

One of the greatest signs we have in this day concerning the End Times is the evil and corrupt spirit that prevails in our world. It is so unified in setting up this new world order. An order without decency, truth and justice. One filled with deceit and hypocrisy. Closer to the end it will be where only those who deny God and His ways will be accepted by this world system.

This system is being fueled by selfish individuals who want nothing to do with Truth or Righteousness. They are all about controlling and promoting what they think is acceptable. They want to make all the calls and say what is offensive to them. They don't want any part of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, or any person who professes Christ.

They don't want to retain God in their minds. So as a Christian, just your existence reminds them of who THEY actually are. They are made aware that God IS, and they will be judged unholy and unrighteous in His sight because of their choices unless they REPENT.

“Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin," Isaiah 30:1.

Jesus wants to be their Savior today. But He will definitely be their Judge one day. I Samuel 15:23, "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry." God have Mercy on this world! Truly, Signs Of The Times!

Wake The Mighty Men!

Joel 3:9, “Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: 10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.”

This is a mighty spiritual war. Wake the mighty men! Call the ones who will agree together. Strong and mighty are those who will covenant together and be bound together by the cords of Truth.

Exchange your cultivating tools for tools of war. We must change our tactics. We must proceed as Nehemiah and those charged with rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem. Nehemiah 4:17, “They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon. 18 For the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and so builded...” They did the work with one hand and held a weapon in the other hand. They were prepared for the attack of the enemy at any time of the day or night.

It is time for an all-out assault on the powers of darkness. Go now and snatch precious souls from the clutches of evil. Go in the power and might of the Lord Jesus Christ within you. Time is running out. We are coming near to the consummation of all things. Zech. 12:8, “In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.”

Look for the signs of Christ’s coming in the events surrounding the nation of Israel. It is there that the fountain will be opened for the salvation of the house of David. Zech. 13:1, “In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.” A third part will come through the fire and be refined as precious metal. Israel will call upon God, He will hear them and He will say, “It is my people,” and they will say, “The Lord is my God.”

Joel 3:9-17 is a description of the campaign of Armageddon. V12, “Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.” The valley of Jehoshaphat refers to the Kidron valley East of Jerusalem. The name means, “Yahweh judges.” The campaign of Armageddon will be a campaign of God’s wrath and judgment. Joel 2:2, “A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.” This is the great Day of the Lord. Joel 3:13, “Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. 14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.”

Now is the time! Awake you mighty men! Go now and snatch precious souls from the clutches of evil. Go in the power and might of the Lord Jesus Christ within you. Time is running out. We are coming near to the consummation of all things.

2 Corinthians 10:4, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;”

He (Jesus) Is More Than Enough! by Myra Boozer

John 14:13, “Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.“ That speaks to me about life without want. Remember, ‘The Lord is MY Shepherd, I shall not want...’ the broader meaning, not lacking, not deficient in proper care, management or husbandry. But a second emphasis is the idea of being utterly contented in the Good Shepherd's care and consequently not craving or desiring anything more," taken from A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23 by Phillip Keller.

As I have been reading in the Book of Mark about Jesus, the disciples, and the multitudes, I really honed in on a question Jesus asked the disciples as they had departed on a ship to the "other side" away from the crowds. As they left, the disciples realized they only had one loaf of bread on the entire ship, a real dilemma for hungry men. This is what Jesus had to say about their reasoning over such a small amount of bread. Mark 8:17-18, "...Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened? Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? AND DO YE NOT REMEMBER? When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many BASKETS FULL of fragments took ye up? They said unto him TWELVE. And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said SEVEN, and he said unto them, HOW IS IT THAT YE DO NOT UNDERSTAND?"

When we have Jesus in our lives, we are covered at all times. He has provision that is MORE THAN ENOUGH! Now, these guys are talking about a loaf of bread, not a Banquet. Many may feel that God lets them down or doesn't provide because they do not receive a "Lobster Fest" on a Cruise Ship.

I found this statement a while ago..."God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him." When the desires of this world can fade away like a fog lifting off the valley, I believe that we find a new perspective about life, love, and our relationship with others, especially God. He just fills our every longing and desire. We no longer are pushed and pressured into needing anything except Him and His presence. It is no longer about me and what I must attain or receive from this world. He becomes my focus. He brings my life to the fullest and my heart can sing in the midst of chaos, because I know He Is More Than Enough for today, tomorrow, and forever...and He always has leftovers...His storehouse is FULL...

Jesus Walks With Us!

As I sat on my patio observing the wonder of nature, I was reminded of how intimate our relationship is with our creator. The wind gently rustled through the trees and causing the branches to sway back and forth. I could imagine the hand of God manipulating each branch much like I did as a child running my fingers through the tall, green blades of grass of summer. My heart felt compelled to say, “I see you there Lord. Yes, I am watching and listening.” It is exciting to know that He is so close to us. “Lord help us to always be aware of Your presence and not allow the struggles of this life to prevent that reality.”

Luke 24:30, “...he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. 31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.” These followers of Jesus Christ realized at that very moment that they had been entertaining the Hope of their lives, that it was the third day and Jesus was alive.

Luke 24:32, “And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? 33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them, 34 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon. 35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.” The veil of darkness was pulled back and the light of revelation rushed in. And so they rose up and returned to Jerusalem to join with their brethren in celebration of the risen Christ.

The revelation of this passage is that we are presently walking with our Lord Jesus Christ all along this journey. He is the Hope of our lives, our Savior, our Deliverer, our Miracle. As born-again believers, we place our faith in the sacrifice of Christ and His finished work on the cross. He paid the price for our sin and disobedience and we have only to believe. As believers, we can embrace this truth without reservation. With this promise, we can respond to all life’s challenges with faith and expect His deliverance because He Walks With Us!

Matt. 6:13, “For thine (His) is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”

He Shall Preserve Your Soul! by Myra Boozer

"The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul" Psalms 121:7

In his writings, David spoke so often of knowing where his help came from. He knew where to look and in whom to put his trust. He knew who his keeper was. His life sustainer was the Lord God Jehovah! Do you know that today? Are you settled in that very important fact?

Psalm 146:2, “While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. 3Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help...5Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: 6Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:” This chapter goes on to tell us what the Lord will do for the oppressed, the hungry, the prisoners, the blind, those bowed down, the strangers, the fatherless, and the widow. These promises are very positive. But then he says in v9, "...But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down."  That is a promise also, but it is NOT good! We have the promise that the LORD preserves all them that LOVE Him but the wicked He will destroy.

My HOPE today is in the Lord our maker. My HOPE is not in a man or a political system. My HOPE is in the promises of THE BOOK...God's Holy Word. "The Name of the LORD is a strong tower, the righteous runneth into it and is safe," Proverbs 18:10.

When you run to the Lord for His forgiveness and for His protection, STAY THERE. Don't run in and out thinking you can be saved or safe when you keep playing with the world, getting into all kinds of sin. There is much false doctrine and many are falling for untruth because it sounds good but it is not TRUTH.

There is only one way and that is by the blood of JESUS. Don't trample HIS blood by playing with the world and falling for the doctrines of devils. IF GOD SAYS IN HIS WORD THAT IT IS WRONG, IT IS WRONG AND NO ONE CAN CHANGE THAT.

God is a jealous God! He doesn't accept a half-time relationship. He wants all of our heart. Stay with God, live close to HIM, and PRAY. “The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He Shall Preserve Thy Soul.”

What's Ahead?

Jeremiah 8:20, “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.”

Jeremiah lamented the future state of Judah, seeing through the prophetic that they would languish in sorrow as a people who had failed to reap the spring or summer harvest. God had presented them with the opportunity to repent and return to His provision but they insisted upon holding to their false gods.

Much in the same way, I lament the state of our nation and our world. Mankind as a whole has refused to repent and return to the Lord. What does the immediate future hold for the world, this nation, the Church, and each individual? God alone knows what is just ahead and only He can position us where we really need to be.

Where am I in relation to where he wants me to be? Do I hear each “still small voice” expression and command? Or am I so easily distracted that I miss part of the message? It is expedient that we hear and receive His directive without delay. We don’t have the luxury of “wasted time.” Each moment is precious as we pull lost souls out of the fire. No one is expendable.

Matt. 16:26, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” 

The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness! by Myra Boozer

I love the mornings when I open my blinds and the sun comes pouring in. It just makes my day and I rejoice in the warmth of God's love to all mankind. It is not only warm, but it is also beautiful and makes all things beautiful. Sometimes the clutter in my room doesn't look so challenging.

“Lord may we open the blinds of our heart and allow you to SHINE in our world. Darkness has hovered for a night and the cries for help are getting louder. The lonely, the sick, the forsaken and forgotten cry out against the pit that has them bound. The prisoners held by sin cry out for freedom...Freedom to be forgiven, loved, and restored!

Who will open the blinds Lord and reveal the rays of Hope, the Light of Jesus that dispels the darkness? Who will ARISE and open the blinds, the shield that covers our windows? Lord, we are given the opportunity NOW in this season to be that person to allow YOUR LIGHT to come forth. It will come with a sudden burst of great force when we allow your Spirit to direct and strengthen us. I know only the strong will do this. Help us to be STRONG IN THE POWER OF YOUR MIGHT as we ARISE like a Warrior with the Helmet of Salvation, the Shield of Faith, and the Sword of the Spirit.

Help us Lord to equip ourselves with your Armor for the challenge before us...Our world is in great need of your LIGHT, the Light that dispels all darkness. Help us to be your hands reaching the lost and your feet to carry the "GOOD NEWS”...our mouth to speak Your Word which is Truth...that it will set the captive free, heal the sick and bind up the brokenhearted...Lord Jesus help us, your Children, to Arise at your command...Amen!” The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness!

The Light Of Your Presence!

Lord Jesus, thank you for the dawn of a new day. Now, it is time to turn to the task at hand. What do you have for your children today? What do you have that we should share with others? Lord, fill us with your WORD so that the overflow is charged with redemption and deliverance. Oh! Come Holy Spirit of God and inhabit every thought, word, and activity. Sanctify us afresh as the place of YOUR habitation. Purge from the very air around us the darkness that infiltrates our world and replace it with the light of YOUR PRESENCE. We feel the intensity of the battle. The Holy Spirit within continues to battle the arm of the flesh, because he is always present. Lord Jesus Christ, help us to die once again that YOU may bring LIFE and more abundantly. Help us to say with Paul the apostle that it is not me that possesses this mortal body but it is YOU that lives here.

Your reign in our life will affect the world around us for YOUR PURPOSE. We invite you to rule the environment around us. “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Come Lord, take control, lead us to the completion of our assignment here. We must share YOUR message with all men. All must have the privilege to escape the darkness. Send forth YOUR light through the WORD of your mouth, penetrate and dispel the gross darkness that has invaded our land. Release YOUR Holy Spirit fire to burn away the obstructions that hold fast the lost souls of men. Set the Body of Christ ablaze that we burn so intensely that conviction and repentance are the results. May the light of your glory be reflected in our faces, in our walk, and in our message. All to the HONOR and PURPOSE of God. Even so, come Lord Jesus! Amen

In The Morning Light! by Myra Boozer

In the morning light, things are so much clearer. I can see further than I expected. I see HOPE resting high up on the mountain, just waiting for me to come and save her from all the doubts that were lurking during the night. They are hiding under the rubble of yesterday's leftover trials and heartaches.

I can see her looking all radiant in the sunlight, where I couldn't see her at all in the midnight. She needs me to be her friend as she bids me come. But, more importantly, I need her. I could never face TODAY without HOPE.

With so much depression spreading over our world and people feeling helpless and hopeless, I pray they will look up and find HOPE in Jesus Christ. He is the answer to all our needs. He gives us the strength to press on even though the darkness comes and doubt is always hiding in the shadows.

HOPE remains steadfast! The secret is, “get up out of the rubble of despair and reach for her.” Yes, it takes effort but, your life is dependent upon YOU making the right choice. Hope isn't hiding from you! But, you must look for her! In The Morning Light!

Discerning Light From Darkness By The Holy Ghost! Conclusion

In Acts 13 we read about the beginning of Paul’s missionary ministry. The leading and anointing of the Holy Ghost was an integral part of Paul’s ministry and gave him the advantage of discerning Light from Darkness. Acts 13:2, “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. 4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.” Notice that it was the Holy Ghost that made the selection and the Holy Ghost that gave the assignment. We must lay our plans aside and petition God to make us part of His Plan.

They preached the Word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. A certain deputy of the country called for Paul and Barnabas desiring to hear the Word of God. A certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus opposed them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Acts 13:9, “Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, 10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? 11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. 12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.” The reality of this passage is that those who oppose Jesus Christ really do walk in darkness. The decree of the Holy Ghost brought to fruition the physical reality that the sorcerer was truly walking in spiritual darkness.

The Holy Spirit discerned the “darkness” and called it out. In the power of the Spirit, the darkness was defined and confined. There is no further mention of Bar-jesus in the Bible. The lesson to be learned here is that the judgment of God is sure and final. This was God’s Plan! The Holy Ghost did the choosing and gave the assignment. Therefore, Paul’s mission was under the mantel of Christ and without limitation. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must walk in the Light as the Holy Ghost leads and move in the anointing of His assignment. He will discern the Darkness, Define and Confine. By the power of the Spirit, the power of darkness will be revealed and deposed! By The Holy Ghost, we will Discern Light From Darkness!

There Is A Storm On The Horizon! by Myra Boozer

The winds of false doctrine are building into a spiritual tornado. They are destroying every soul that has not built themselves up in the faith that was once delivered to the saints. The storm clouds gather as the gross darkness cannot hide any longer from this world. The Word tells us in Isaiah 60:2, "For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people..." As it feeds on the sinful nature that has so viciously spread through our land, it is building in momentum. It is rapidly moving in! Can you hear the distant thunder?

As a storm on the horizon, it was beautiful in its conception. The colors were vibrant and vivid. But, mixed with the Winds of False Doctrine, the spinning has begun and the loud sounds of horror have intertwined with the fierce lightening of Satan himself. Many have already been deceived and destroyed.

As they have gathered on the sea of time the false teachers and preachers have devised their own way to get to God other than through His Son, Jesus Christ. They have tried to rebuke the winds of sorrow in their own carnal voice and have seen no results. Speaking great mysteries and giving interpretations from their own carnal voice, they have produced many different answers for our day. They build each other up in the false security that God is with them when He is not.

They teach the multitudes that they are to have all their mind can conceive in riches and wealth. They teach them that a loving God has forgiven all the sins committed in the past, present, and future. NOT SO! Jesus said that He would supply our NEEDS according to His riches in glory. And all sin must be repented of, as the Holy Spirit convicts the heart.

They are heaping judgment upon themselves and all who are listening to them. The book of Jude tells us we may save some with fear pulling them out of the fire. This is my sole purpose for writing this post! Maybe someone will begin to read and study the Word for themselves and not be destroyed by this great storm of DECEPTION that is sweeping over the world. There Is A Storm On The Horizon!

Discerning Light From Darkness By The Holy Ghost!

John 14:23, “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him… 25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

As followers of Jesus Christ, we will suffer persecution and experience opposition at the hand of Satan, the enemy of our souls. In Ephesians 6:10, we are admonished to “be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Our strength and success are dependent upon our obedience to the Word of God and submission to the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus became the living Word among us and indwells this mortal body by the Holy Ghost. The world hated Him and they will hate all who follow Him. Matthew 10:22, “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”

In a world that is filled with darkness, Jesus has made provision for us to discern the light from the darkness. He promised His disciples that after His departure He would send the Holy Ghost to be our resident guide, adviser, and protector. When He has come He will teach you all things necessary for your success and cause you to remember all that He has already taught you. Jesus has taught us to discern the light from the darkness by the power of the Holy Ghost within us.

It is imperative that we know light from the darkness. That is a very simple statement but I find it to be one of the greatest needs among Christians today. Among all the subjects that we have written about over the past 5 years, the response to topics about truth and light has been an overwhelming 3 to 1 over any other single theme. People want to know the truth. They want to be able to discern Light and Darkness. It is crucial in these last days and the indwelling and work of the Holy Ghost is indispensable in this endeavor. Beware The Apostate Church! by Myra Boozer

Today there are many apostate churches with their feel-good message of, come as you are, stay as you are, God accepts you! This “NO need for a change of heart or lifestyle” is NOT from GOD but from Satan. It is the broad road that leads directly into hell and many are being fooled because no one will tell them the TRUTH. Matt. 7:13, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at:”

The sugar-coated preaching with no scriptural standard will not transform the life of a sinner! The Truth that Jesus speaks is OFFENSIVE to the sinner. Heb. 4:12, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

It is not a "feel good about your sin" MESSAGE but, a “depart from sin, deny yourself, take up your CROSS, and follow Christ” message. When true conviction comes to a person, it is the most UNCOMFORTABLE feeling in the world. The warm and fuzzy feeling will follow but not until after REPENTANCE.

God CONVICT the spiritually blind people who are doing a great injustice to those who are seeking truth. They are enemies of the cross! They are your enemy! Don't listen to them and their spirit of error message. The Spiritually blind people are the workers of iniquity and their master is not GOD, no matter how many programs or Bible Studies they may have, no matter how many people attend their church, no matter how many mission programs they support. When a pastor and church promote anything more than the "turn from your wicked ways" message they are the apostate church teaching and preaching in error. Matt. 15:14, “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”

When a church is dead in its traditions, they do the same thing year after year and get the same results. The Spirit of Life is not flowing! It takes the anointing of the Holy Ghost to break the yoke of sin! Without the moving of Holy Ghost power to convince and convict the sinner, it becomes a club of people who still claim their sin but want to believe heaven is waiting for them. When the blind lead the blind they both fall in the ditch. If your church is sugar coating the message, it is the apostate church! Get out, seek God, read His Word, and allow the Spirit to transform you into His vessel of honor. Obey His voice as He leads you into all Truth…

John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

The Rebellion Of A Nation!

Matt. 21:28-32

Apostasy materializes in a series of errors. A nation, a church, a person does not fall into apostasy in an instant. It happens over time in which God will correct and give the opportunity to repent and return to the Truth.

The first error that these Jewish leaders made was to challenge the authority and plan of God. By rejecting Jesus, the Son of God, the Messiah sent by God, they were in full-blown rebellion against God who they claimed to serve.

That generation had witnessed the power of God through the miraculous acts that Jesus performed. Yet their lack of spiritual discernment compelled them to ask, “...By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority.” Matt. 21:23

That generation had witnessed the presentation of the King and the fulfillment of prophecy. Zechariah 9:9, “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.”  See also, Matt. 21:5.

That generation had witnessed the purging of the Temple which is God’s chastisement of error. See Matt. 21:12-13. They had made the Temple into something that it was not intended to be, “a den of thieves” rather than “a house of prayer.” I am reminded of the dedication of the Temple that Solomon built. He built it for a habitation of God, a place where heaven and earth came together. 2 Chron. 7:1, “Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. 2And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD'S house.” What a difference between the worship in Solomon’s Temple and that of Jesus’ day.

Apostasy is the result of rebellion. Man has fallen into apostasy because of the failure to correct his error in repentance and change. Jesus was speaking specifically to the nation of Israel. Israel paid a high price for its rebellion. They rejected their Messiah therefore God rejected them, Matt. 21:31, “...Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.” The same principle can be applied to any nation, any church, or any person. The world society has challenged the authority and plan of God. And, more specifically this nation has walked away from God in open rebellion.

In the last century, our country has witnessed the manifest presence of God. From the isolated revivals of the Appalachians in the late 1800s to the spiritual awakening of Azusa Street in the early 1900s and beyond, this nation has witnessed the manifest presence of God. However, we should be concerned about our churches today and the lack of a visible witness of the power of God. We cannot rebel against the authority and plan of God and expect to walk in the power of God. We cannot walk away from the purity of His Word and expect the Holy Spirit to empower us.

If the Holy Spirit is to empower us there has to be a return to the conditions required by the Holy Scriptures. Those conditions can only inhabit the life of a repentant, regenerated, rededicated individual, church, or nation. The next move is yours! What will be your decision? The Rebellion Of A Nation! 

Meet Her At The Crossroads! by Myra Boozer

"Does not wisdom call out, And understanding lift up her voice?" BUT WHO IS LISTENING? Only the wise will hear! "She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, beside the way, Where the paths meet. She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, At the entrance of the doors," Proverbs 8:1-3, NKJV.

Wisdom is calling to every one of us but some just don't have time to listen. They are too busy making plans and settling deals with whomever they choose. They decide to walk right on by Wisdom and give her no attention as though she wasn't even there. Too many today are so hasty and determined to be their own guide that they have forgotten to seek God for wisdom. Wisdom is a choice, you see. We don't have to keep making the same mistakes over and over again. Wisdom is there, "beside the gate."

Every decision one makes has an entrance but before we proceed further, we can take time to seek wisdom. She (wisdom) is not overbearing or rude but she is there standing strong and firm. She is at the entrance of every door. She is on the face of every decision. She is available. We can embrace her or we can ignore her!

No, She is not without price because she is only available to those who will lay down their ideas, their plans, their desires, and seek after the righteousness of God. No, she is not immediate because it takes time to rid oneself of the earthly, carnal, selfish desires and lean fully on the heart of God.

God is the Master Planner of our lives. He is the One who knows everything from front to back. He knows us and the plans He has for us. He is the one who made us creatures of choice and He willingly gives wisdom to all who will choose her.

What a great honor to meet "Wisdom " at every crossroad. There is so much uncertainty and many days of difficulty to know who is telling the truth and who isn't. To figure out the puzzle and get out of the maze created by the worldly system requires more than my mind can conceive. I must have wisdom, for she is from God. He has placed her there. She will not fail but notice she (Wisdom) is standing where the paths meet. That means we can go either way. We will go the way of the world unless we are firmly rooted and grounded in Christ. The way of the world is the broad way and leads to destruction. The narrow way will be the one where Wisdom is standing and offering Life Eternal. She is valuable, more precious than rubies and nothing you could ever desire can compare with her...see Proverbs 8:11.

What Is Truth?

What is Truth? Of all the responses that we have gotten to this blog, the greatest response has been to the subject of Truth. There is a yearning within the soul of man to ascertain the Truth! What is the Truth about God, about creation, about the individual self? How do we fit into the greater plan for the human race? If we are to understand and accept our role in this quest, we must be able to discern Truth.

Just because we accept a particular belief system doesn’t mean that we have embraced Truth. In these last days, it is imperative that we recognize the Truth as taught and illustrated by the Word of God. We want so badly to believe that what we know and understand about God and His Kingdom is truth. But what is truth?

God is Truth! John 14:6, “Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. 7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him." And in God is no variability. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning,” James 1:17. If we want to know Truth, we must know God in an intimate, personal relationship. So intimate and personal that we recognize the voice of God as He speaks His Truth into our lives.

The Truth of God is constant but our understanding continues to change. Therefore our understanding Truth is dependent upon our growing unto Him. Eph. 2:10, “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Our concept of Truth is directly related to our genuine love for God and our obedience to Him. We cannot walk in rebellion and experience His Truth. However, as we move progressively toward Him in a more complete revelation of who He is, the Truth will be apparent because God is Truth. God doesn’t change, the Truth doesn't change, only our understanding of it.

In an effort to convince others that what we believe is Truth, we fall into Satan's trap and become ambassadors of a carnal doctrine espoused by the flesh. A man delivers the message but God gives the revelation and will validate His message. Since we cannot understand God with the carnal mind, we must rely upon His revelation and validation by the Holy Spirit. Is it Truth because we believe or do we believe because it is Truth? The obvious answer is that we believe because it is Truth and God has brought us into it.

John 8:28, “Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. 29And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. 30As he spake these words, many believed on him. 31Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

YES, Jesus Died For You and He longs to come and be your EVERYTHING! 

The Gift Of God Is Eternal Life!

Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Jesus died for us when we were dead in our sins and doomed to an eternity in hell! How can we fully grasp what His dying on an old rugged cross really means to us? Our feeble human mind is incapable of fully comprehending the magnitude of God’s gift to us. How can someone whom we haven’t previously known be willing to sacrifice His only Son for our benefit? Romans 5:6, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

When we knew not how lost we were, God had planned for our total and complete deliverance. Through the precious blood offering of His Son Jesus, the pure and spotless Lamb of God, the penalty for sin was paid. When barely for a righteous man and possibly for a good man some would dare to die, God loved us when we were still sinners.

Jesus died for us and we are justified by His blood. We are saved from the wrath of God as we look to the cross and believe. When the sin in us made us enemies of God we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son. We have now received life through the atonement for our sin by Christ Jesus. He died and rose again to provide our deliverance, to free us from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment.

God’s desire is for all men everywhere to be saved. 1 Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all...” God has prepared the way through the gift of His only Son. The penalty for sin has been paid.  All one needs to do is repent of his sins and accept the Lordship of Christ in his life.

Pray this prayer with me and receive God’s unspeakable GIFT of salvation. “Lord Jesus Christ, I desire to be saved from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment. Thank You for paying the penalty for my sin. I believe You gave Your life to ransom my life. I believe You died on the cross but You rose victorious over death, hell, and the grave on the third day just as You had promised. I’m tired of my life of sin. From this moment forward, I give my life to You. I belong to You. Use me for Your honor and glory and give me an eternal home with You in heaven. Thank You for Your GIFT of eternal life in Jesus Christ! Thank You for saving me! Amen!”

Change My Heart, Oh God! by Myra Boozer

I love this song..."Change my Heart oh God, make it ever new. Change my heart oh God, make it more like you." It is also a great prayer. Isn't His Grace Amazing? To think that He would forgive all our sins and cast them far, far away in a sea to never be remembered. Just makes me cry when I think how my mother taught me many years ago about the love of Jesus. This love also takes away our chains, the things that seem to hold us captive and make us a prisoner. His love says NO MORE BONDAGE! His love is unending and still so amazing after all these years. I trust Him to take me on the rest of my days, however long they may be.

My mother also taught me how to cook, sew, clean house, take care of babies, and much more. However, the best thing she ever taught me was that Jesus loves me and died on the cross for my sins. She taught me to love others as myself, to be forgiving, and to pray about everything. She taught me by example, which is the most profitable way to teach.

I must share this news with your today. Jesus loves YOU and died for YOU. You too can be set free from all the struggle, from all the guilt and shame, the chains that bind, the things that pull you down and make your life miserable. They can vanish in a moment's time when you humble yourself and allow God to raise you up in His Holiness because He is Holy, Righteous, and Pure.

He wants to hold you in His great big arms today and make everything new. JESUS LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER KNOW. Put your trust in Him. He is your deliverer and He will fight your battles. You don't have to struggle any longer or carry the guilt of sin. Just surrender to the one who created you, loves you, and died for you. He wants to give you life everlasting and peace for the journey until that Day. His love is so Amazing, so rich and free. He is so full of compassion and great mercy. When all around you is crumbling and falling away, Jesus will not fail you. He is your steady ROCK, your firm FOUNDATION, and Soon Coming King!

We Must Have God's Direction For This Hour!

Romans 13:11, “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. 13Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. 14But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.”

We need to know God in such an intimate manner that He can give us the specific instructions that we need for this hour. Now is the time to pray and seek Him for individual direction and instructions for the Body of Christ. We cannot afford to delay or be negligent in this task. There is far too much at stake. The salvation of those we love and influence is at risk. How shall we escape if we neglect this great salvation? Time is short! Our deliverance is at hand!

We continue to fight the battle between the flesh and the spirit. However, if we are to be successful for God we must position ourselves where we can hear and receive His counsel. I hear the chatter, chatter, chatter of the diversions of this life. We must cry out to the Lord Jesus Christ that He will empower us to stay focused on His plan. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we must quiet the diversions!

The world around us can be overwhelming at times, especially in the current state of world affairs. If we focus on current events alone, we will become discouraged, depressed, and defeated. But when we allow the Holy Spirit to teach us how these events fit into prophecy and the end times, the uncertainty of our future is eliminated. We can move into a relationship with Christ where the spirit and physical realms connect in the perfect plan of God.

Write the vision and make it plain so that he who reads it may run with it. It is crucial that the message be shared, but how can I best accomplish this task? Ask the Lord to open doors to the venues of His choice and desire. Make a lifelong commitment! Lord show me the way and I will walk therein. You lead and I will follow without question! We Must Have God’s Direction For This Hour!

What should we be concerned about TODAY? Truth is a major issue that keeps getting twisted in lies and more lies. Some things just get swept under the rug while others continue to be proclaimed from the rooftop. The bottom line is, that we need Truth to prevail. The more we seek Truth, the more we can recognize lies when they are presented.

There is so much deception in our world. Everyone seems to have their own song and dance routine. They dance to a different beat. Sometimes that beat is unsure, not clear, just not accurate, but because it is their drum and their inspiration they continue to beat.

It is time for us to find the Master Conductor and fall at His feet, so that we may receive the correct notes and play the sound that the world needs to hear.  No, everyone does not play the same notes and sometimes everyone stops for that loud sound of the cymbal. In the scope of a beautiful masterpiece, everyone follows the conductor.

No one should be alone to play whatever sound he desires to play.  All are united to play what the Master says to play. It is time to get alone with the Master and know what He wants from us. As the Church, we need to be playing His beautiful symphony. That is not what we are hearing, but if every Child of God will listen to the Conductor it can happen quickly.

There is a change in the air for the people of God.  God is stirring hearts and bringing us into the unity of prayer. Prayer for repentance as a whole and prayer for the lost because our time is coming to a close. Our open window may be closing soon and there are still many who are not saved. It is time to pray! When we pray in fervency the windows of Heaven open and prayers will be answered...the Truth will be heard, souls will be saved, the work will be done, and the Bridegroom will come for His Bride! You Can Know The Truth!

Are You Searching For The Truth?

Proverbs 21:2, “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.”

I have noticed in my latter years that there is one thought that continues to present itself in my walk with God. “Live every day of your life with the end in mind.” Our vision of the end will invariably determine the subject of our focus on each and every day of our lives. With that in mind, I continue to reach for the Truth of God to envelop my soul and deliver me from this house of flesh.

Are you searching for the Truth or are you looking for something that will fit your list of Religious principles? Solomon stated that every “man is right in his own eyes.” Our human tendency is to justify what we want. We want so badly to think that what we believe is the Truth, consequently, we try to make the Scriptures fit our lives. The correct approach is to make our lives fit the Scriptures. When we attempt to re-make God’s standard to fit our ideals and values, we drastically diminish the power of God’s Word, limiting it to only what we receive and understand.

Is it the Truth because we comprehend it to be so? Truth is Truth regardless of whether we receive it or understand it. Truth is not based on our perception, acceptance, or denial. Truth is the very character of our Creator. God is Truth! And His character is revealed to us through the Scriptures and in the persons of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Jesus stated in John 14:6, “...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Jesus promised His disciples an Advocate to come after His departure and declared that Advocate to be the Spirit of Truth. John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

If we want to understand Truth, we must cultivate a personal relationship with the one who is Truth. To receive and understand Truth is to receive the Lord Jesus Christ, submit to His counsel, be obedient to His discipline and walk in total surrender to Him. If we will continue to walk in obedience and seek the revelation of God’s Word, we will move forward in Truth.

The days are evil and the storms of life are raging...The enemy has come in like a flood as it rips through our land trying to wash away every grain of truth and justice that has prevailed in our country since the beginning of her existence. Turmoil has found a landing on the steps of every home and the heart of every man, woman, and child. The winds of this world whisper, “you are alone and no one is interested in your sorrow...just forget about finding refuge in the soul of another human being...Trust only in your might and none other...no one cares or is able to lift you above the muddy waters of this terrible swift and raging current.”

But wait, I hear the chirping of the sparrow and see the Eagle on the highest bough...and listen to the breeze as it sings the sweetest song...Redeemed, You are redeemed...you have been purchased, bought with a price...counted worthy to be forgiven and you are FREE...This is no time to be discouraged...God is allowing us to build strong faith in HIM and not our circumstances. No mortal relationship can save us! We are Redeemed by the Blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ!

Dressed For Battle!

By the power (dunamis-ability/can) of the Holy Spirit (pneuma-breath of God) We are loosed. Acts 2:2, “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” With the power and might of a great wind, the Holy Spirit filled the house. By the power of Almighty God, the door of Satan's prison springs open and we are free. I am reminded of Paul and Silas in Acts 16:26, “And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed” KJV. Several of the other translations read that the earthquake was so violent that the doors flew open and the chains were loosed and fell off. The Spirit of God that possesses our mortal body has broken the chains and opened the barred doors. Thank God we are free!

We are free but free for what purpose? We are free so that we can lead others free. Jesus came to set the captives free. As His Holy Spirit indwells us, we are free to be the visible evidence of the delivering power of God. We belong to Him. There is no power of hell that can defeat an obedient child of God. We are free in God to restore what the enemy has stolen.

The army of Christ is rising up. Rising up in the mantel of Jesus Christ. That mantel is the manifest presence of Christ in the Holy Ghost. I feel the urging of the Spirit calling upon the Body of Christ to rise up in the power of that mantel and do His work. What is that work? To share the gospel for the salvation of souls. If we will accept the commission, then we have a promise. The gates of hell cannot prevail against the Body of Christ. Why? Because we are covered in Christ's mantel. We are filled with His Holy Spirit!

Matt. 16:17, “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (continued)

JESUS is your Rock when everything begins to sink all around you.

HE is Your Bread when your pantry is empty.

HE is Your Home when you are evicted.

HE is Your Payment for a debt you cannot pay.

HE is Your Friend when all others forsake you.

HE is Your Light when darkness tries to hover over you.

He is Your Coach when you feel defeat has overcome you.

HE is Your Weapon when the enemy strikes.

HE is Your Joy in the time of great battle.

HE is Your Escape when the lions are hungry.

HE is Your Covering when all is stripped away.

HE is Your Passport when the time comes to leave.

HE is Your Key to the riches of Heaven.

"He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion," Psalm 111:4.

Oh, how quickly we can forget just what Jesus really means to us. When the storm has past and the sun begins to shine...May We REMEMBER the works of His Hands...this is our time to remember and be thankful...today and always… 

Oh God! Show Us Your Mercy!

As I gaze out my window, I am reminded of how good and how great God is. The earth with all its beauty was created by Him. He spoke the words and all things were created. The glory of it all is incomprehensible except by the Spirit of God. He must open our eyes to the totality of all that He has placed in our world. Help us Lord to search and find. Help us to see all your beauty and glory. My mind, my heart, and my spirit stand in awe of the wonder of Your creation!

In contrast, the picture of this world is catastrophic. What man has done to the glory of God's creative masterpiece is a shame and disgrace! How can we sincerely ask God to bless the mess that man has created? I simply pray, “God, show us your love, show us your grace, show us your mercy.” Just as the wind bends the mighty oak tree and its leaves and branches yield entirely to the strength of the wind, may the Holy Spirit of God cause the nations to bow in convicted repentance. God, move us by your Holy Spirit to yield to your will and your way. Bring us to convicted repentance! Oh, God! Have Mercy On Us! Oh, God! Save us!

Isaiah 1:18, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.”

Truth Will Prevail! by Myra Boozer

I want to hear YOU Lord! I want to listen to Your Word and also hear Your voice! The winds are blowing up a storm and I see on the horizon a new dilemma, a time of trouble, a time of emergency for those who are not aware, for those not prepared, for those who are busy and overtaken by their own plans and desires.

What do we do? They have ears to hear but do not hear, and eyes to see, but do not see. They are getting angry with those speaking about your Return. They are not interested in our words! They have Big Plans to stay! Sometimes I feel I am pulling back, I don't want to do that. I pray you give me Your words.

(This is the answer God gave!)

"Truth will PREVAIL...
Truth will stand STRONG, in the evil and corrupt day...
It will be VICTORIOUS...
It will SING LOUD AND STRONG...
It will TRIUMPH...
No enemy is able to stand AGAINST Truth...
The WORD is TRUTH...
The WORD is GOD...
I am the BEGINNING and the END...
I have NO other PLAN...
I will SURVIVE!
Those who want to be on the winning side must come along with the PLAN I have laid down...NO other plan, No other way!
FORSAKE all and FOLLOW ME.
BE INSTANT IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON...
CLOTHE yourself in RIGHTEOUSNESS...
RIGHT LIVING and BELIEVING will be the TICKET for the SURVIVAL of MY BODY...
NO ONE can come to me except they come MY WAY...

Release The Power Of God In You! Conclusion

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the path that God has chosen for us to go where He is going. In fact, Jesus said in John 14:6, “…I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” Therefore the Gospel is the only path that will be blessed by God and activate the power of God.

Paul declared in Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” The original word for “ashamed” comes from a root word that means to disfigure or dishonor. I think what Paul was saying is that he would not alter his presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is the power of God for salvation and any other need we might have. If we alter the message, we alter access to the power!

Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Jesus said that He would send the Holy Ghost as a manifestation of His Power so that we could be witnesses to all the world. But witnesses of what? The Power in itself is not the witness Jesus spoke of. He said, “witnesses unto me.” He was talking about the message of Good News which He had so freely shared with the world. He was talking about the Gospel which He had taught and modeled before men!

This Power that Jesus talked about is to empower us to share the Gospel with all the earth. The power of the Gospel delivers the sin-sick soul! The power of the Gospel brings freedom to the shackled and imprisoned! The power of the Gospel heals the wounded heart! The Power of God delivers the soul, mind, and body!

Are we willing to let God do the leading? Are we willing to go with God to where He is going? There lies the key to Release The Power Of God In You! 

Pressing Into A New Season! by Myra Boozer

People need to know and understand that "We are made BY GOD and FOR GOD." When we come to realize THAT, everything takes on new meaning. BUT, then there are seasons in our lives, the ending of one and the beginning of another. Most of the time there is a pause, a space in-between where we are in the lull and we just need NEW direction and inspiration. We need a good cleaning of our perspective. A time to know what is IMPORTANT. A time to get things in order as God would have them. There is a time for all things, a time to sow, and a time to reap. This calls for different tactics and a different approach. So, we must have this serious personal time with the Lord.

Sometimes people think that God has left them, during the lull, the space in-between, but that is not so. This time is often difficult to adjust to. It sometimes appears to be a "valley." The reputation of the valley causes many to run scared. The talk about being "down in the valley," "alone in the valley," and “no sunshine in the valley.” This talk is damaging to those who are young in the Lord. They expect the worst, thinking they will never come out. It can be frightful but don't lose HOPE.

It is time for the singing of a different song...the time of shedding off the old thoughts and taking on the new vision...But, also a time of finding great comfort and restoration. In the valley, he restores our souls. He does not leave us there but when the time is fully come He will lead us out into the New Day...A NEW SEASON of our LIFE, stronger and better than before. He never forsakes us in the VALLEY. "...I will fear no evil, for thou art with me..," Psalm 23:4. Pressing into A New Season!

Release The Power Of God In You!

Opposition to the Truth, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is becoming increasingly more intense. As the Body of Christ, we are already experiencing Satanic attacks of greater intensity. It seems as though we are preparing for all hell to break loose. Only God knows what is ahead! However, He has promised to walk with us. Jesus said in Heb. 13:5, “...I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” And, we want Him to walk with us wherever we go! But, how many of us will walk with Him wherever He goes? In the former, we seek God’s blessing on the path we have chosen. In the latter, we seek God’s leading and the path He has chosen. His blessings automatically follow. Sure, we want Him to walk with us but what would our lives look like if we follow Him to where He is going?

God made a similar promise to Joshua in Joshua 1:5, “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” God’s promise to Joshua is relevant for us today and provides a powerful example to those who would follow God to where He is going.

God had created the initiative to bring His people into this land of Canaan where they could worship and follow Him without the intrusion of the customs and religions of other nations. For 40 years they had been on this journey and now it was time to for them to go in. It was God’s plan for Joshua to lead them in, however, Joshua had to decide to follow God where He was going. Joshua 1:2, “Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.”

Why did it take the children of Israel 40 years to get to Canaan? The obvious answer is that they just were not ready. God had to teach them, grow them, and mature them. Many died on the journey! But, the core issue of all their problems was that they would not consent to let God do the leading. They would not follow God to where He was going! Their success or failure was based upon that very simple principle.

Are we so much different than they were? I submit to you today, that we are not! Every need that exists among men can be addressed by the power of God’s presence. But we are forced to make the same decision that Joshua was confronted with. Are we willing to let God do the leading? Are we willing to go with God to where He is going? There lies the key to releasing the power of God in our lives! (continued) 

Jesus Is A Gentleman! by Myra Boozer

You may not like the touch of everyone you meet but I can assure you the hand reaching down to you from Jesus is one that you want to hold and never let go. He is the only begotten Son of our Heavenly Father. He is reaching for you to become part of this big family. He wants to be your elder brother. He desires to become your closest friend and the one who has your back at all times.

This Jesus is a gentleman! He does not push himself on anyone, but his nail-pierced hand is extended down to where you are. He doesn't demand that you address Him as the Royal person that He is. He just asks for you to reach up to Him and take hold of His loving hand.

This saving Jesus has done more for you than anyone ever has or ever will because of Love, sacrificial Love for you! His heart is broken every time you decline His invitation to accept His deliverance out of your desperation. His love doesn't stop there, He has great plans for your future.

He has gone to prepare a place for you and will return to take you to that place. "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore," Psalms 16:11. Please don't hesitate! There are many in the valley of indecision, a lonely place of doubt and uncertainty. "Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision; for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision," Joel 3:14.

Now, while you have time, grab that hand and hold on. Cry out to the one that loves you more than you can ever love Him back. Today, He desires to be Your Savior! Soon He will be Your Judge. Cry out to Him with a willing heart to follow Him. He loves YOU!

Where Can We Go?

John 6:63, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him...66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.”

I begin each day with the purpose of fulfilling God’s will and executing His commission here. I am empty except for what God puts in me. There are no words except that God should speak and give them. There is no song unless He composes and sings the melody. Where can we go except to go to God and go with God? He is the one who gives purpose to our living! We are an empty hollow shell without His influence in every aspect of our lives.

Where Could We Go? Jesus is the one with the words of eternal life! Listen intently for His voice and follow Him to where He is leading! Where else Could We Go? Only Jesus has the answer that fits absolutely the needs in our life!

Disturbed! by Myra Boozer

DISTURBED by a dream last night...This is the dream in part...A young man went up to the Pastor for prayer. He was desperate, crying, and needed the Pastor to pray with him. I was standing near in the choir and I felt such compassion. As I got close I heard the Pastor say, as he agreed with the young man about his need, that what he (Pastor) needed was for him to bring his equipment over and build a playground for the children there on the church property. He actually took the young man down the aisle. I saw the front doors open wide and the sunlight coming into the church as he was showing him where to begin on the church property. I got back in place in the choir and we sang from the depths of our hearts. I saw a lady and her baby, both with light blue hair which represents this present culture. She looked at me with that “I made it look.” Another lady in the choir turned and gave me a hug, maybe because I had influenced the young mother to come to church. All seemed to be worshiping and enjoying the presence of the Lord.

What????? This is not the way it is supposed to be. Does the Church make people believe that works are the way to heaven? There may be too much emphasis on "What can YOU Do for the Church instead of What can the CHURCH do for you." Matt. 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

I am feeling broken by the lack of teaching "true repentance" coming from many churches today. Yes, I agree people need to get "involved " in what is going on in the church. But that is not what comes first. People are hurting, struggling, and dying from the sin that has almost destroyed their lives and the lives of their families. To add "WORKS" on top of all the pressure and stress to a life hanging by a thread is spiritual murder. God help us to get it right!

True repentance is a state of brokenness, a time of realizing that without God there is NO help from anywhere. It is a time of actually seeing or realizing one's sin and being sorry and remorseful of one's actions and deeds. A time of emptying all the regrets with a sorrowful attitude. This is exactly what the young man was experiencing in my dream. BUT, he was led away from that feeling into one of “leave this place of repentance and see what you can do for the church.”

I Peter 4:17 "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" I believe that judgment will be as it says in Revelation chapters 1-3 that unless the churches repent Jesus said "I will come and remove the candlestick out of his place, except thou repent," Rev. 2:5. He is talking to the Church of God. I believe many are going on with services today and the Lord may have removed the candlestick. Judgment has begun. I pray it isn't too late for repentance. Seek God for a Divine Encounter today. Otherwise, it is only an expression of religious habit…
