Full Of Mercy! by Myra Boozer

Psalm 100:5, “For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”

MERCY is something we all want from God and from others! Mercy is a disposition to forgive or be kind. It is another Godly characteristic that is often lacking in worldly wisdom. But James 3:17 says that the wisdom from above is FULL of mercy, abundant in mercy. We know that mercy originates with God. Ephesians 2:4, "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)"

I have noticed when the Holy Spirit gives a message to the Church, He is always telling us of His love for us. My thoughts are, not because we deserve His love but because He is rich in mercy. Think about how much mercy is shown in His provision for salvation and in our daily lives. Hebrews 4:16 tells us "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." We all have needs on a regular basis, some days more than others.

Matthew 5 gives us the Beatitudes spoken by Jesus from the Sermon on the Mount. The fifth one is "Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy." James 3:17, "The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace."

We can do a self exam by checking our attitude, our character and our contentment. Although, I would say we could get thrown off because of this fact...Proverbs 21:2, " Every man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts." So we must open ourselves to the Lord. "SEARCH me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there by any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting," Psalm 139:23-24.

Will You Make A Difference?

Luke 1:76, “And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; 77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, 78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, 79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Zechariah prophesied these words over his son John at the time of his circumcision. John was the forerunner of Jesus Christ and as such was to carry the Light of God to a world filled with darkness. The Church, the Body of Christ has the same responsibility in our world today. We “are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid,” Matt. 5:14. We are torch bearers of the Light, called to make a difference and bring the holy influence of God to impact our world!

Therefore, we are required to make some difficult choices if we are to change the direction of our nation and world. We must choose to love others as we do ourselves? We must choose to seek the well being of others rather than promote our own selfish ambitions and desires. Can you imagine how that would change our world if only it were embraced by those professing to be followers of Jesus Christ? We must choose to embody His truth in every thought, word, and action. That principle will impact every person that our lives touch! We might not change the world but we would change OUR world. We must choose to treat every relationship justly and impartially. What if we actually treated others like we want to be treated? Matt. 7:12, “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them:..”

We should be challenged as we reflect upon our past. Have we done our best to affect the world around us in a positive manner for the Lord Jesus Christ? Are you pleased with the outcomes you have observed or does God's Spirit within urge you to make a greater difference in the time ahead?

The challenge is before us, “will we make a difference?” Are we willing to be shaken from our positions of safety and comfort and invest ourselves in addressing the woes of our community, our nation and our world? The whole of creation is crying out for a change. That change will come in the form of Divine intervention. God is the answer to all our issues and problems. Therefore, as Children of God and Followers of His Son Jesus Christ, we are thus compelled to seek God for His grace and tender mercies. We need to seek for and prepare to engage in a Divine encounter! It is there that we will truly make a difference! Will You Make A Difference?

Your Light! by Myra Boozer

YOUR LIGHT...
Lord, I get lost without your light shinning on my path.
I find I am alone and hopeless, fearful and afraid.
Your Light reveals my great need of you.
It warms my heart and fills my soul.
It opens my eyes and helps me see clearly.
It captures my interest and floods my mind.
It settles all my concerns and comforts my anxiety.
It rolls my cares right off my back.
It trills my heart and causes me to rejoice.
It opens my mouth to sing your praise.
It drives me onward to face the new day
with peace, hope and love.
So I mount up, as with eagles wings...
And I soar, Yes I Soar... Because of your great Light!

The LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall
I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom
shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1

Allow His Light to invade your world. He will change
your heart and bring HOPE into your circumstance...
Making your deepest and darkest days to be filled with
the Light of His Resurrection Power...Revealing His
abundant love for you and your family...
There is a Light that forever shines...That Light brings
deliverance from all the darkness and sets you in a
position of high descent...
For you are no longer a slave to sin but adopted into
the Royal Family of God...forever and ever. Amen!

God's Standard? The Word Of Truth!

The first step in this process from Truth to confusion is a failure to embrace the work of the Holy Spirit. We must be able to recognize His presence and submit to His leadership if we are to walk in His Truth! (See: A Departure From Truth Results In Confusion). The second step in the process from Truth to confusion is a failure to follow Truth. As a child of God we must seek for revelation of Truth and walk in that Truth without reservation. (See: A Departure From Truth Results In Confusion, part 2). The third step in the process from Truth to confusion is the failure to accurately discern the origin and author of Truth. God is the origin and author of Truth. What we need is a relationship with God in which we can lay aside our beliefs and allow Him to teach us His Truth. (See: The Origin Of Truth).

The last step in this process from Truth to confusion is the failure of churches to provide a Biblical standard through proper interpretation of the Word of God. God’s Word is the Word of Truth and one function of the Church has been and will continue to be to accurately interpret the Holy Scriptures. Proverbs 11:14, “Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellers there is safety.” Accurate interpretation of Scripture is crucial to the mission of the Church and the salvation of the lost.

God has always had and will always have HIS Standard! That Standard is the Word of God, the Holy Scriptures. Isaiah referred to God’s Word as a plume line. Isaiah 28:17, “Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.” Judgment was coming to the house of Israel and the only thing that could save them was to repent and return to following God.

The leaders of Israel did not want to hear this message from God, consequently they mocked and degraded the messenger. They were infuriated that Isaiah would lecture them as little children. They viewed themselves far superior to Isaiah and mocked his attempt to enlighten them. Isaiah 28:9, “Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:” Through the Prophet, God chided the leaders of Israel saying they should be mature men willing to accept the Word of the Lord. His Word, which is precept upon precept and line upon line. This text indicates the invariability of a Holy God. He does not deviate from His Standard regardless of who we are. The only redemption that we have is through His Mercy by way of repentance and returning to walk by His Standard.

Israel had made a covenant with Egypt in an attempt to avoid captivity by the Assyrians. They turned to man rather than God. God called this covenant “a covenant with death and with hell,” a sure sign of their eventual defeat and captivity, v15.

In His Words given to Isaiah, God uses the example of constructing a building. He references the foundation stone, tried, true and sure. The Word of the Lord cautions not to proceed hastily but to be submissive and get it right. A true and secure foundation is critical for the construction of a durable structure. In v 17, the Word of the Lord indicates that He will apply His Standard regarding the judgment and righteousness of Israel. Because they did not receive God’s correction they were carried away into captivity by the Assyrians and scattered to the four corners of the world. Israel was held accountable to God’s Standard.

Sin and apostasy must be identified and addressed. The Bride of Christ will be presented to Him without spot. Another role of the Holy Spirit is to illuminate the darkness and remove the covering for sin. The Word of Truth illuminated by the Spirit of Truth will set the souls of men free to walk in the liberty which only God can give. The Church of God must preach and teach the Word of Truth! God is holding us all accountable to HIS Standard!

Revelation 20:12, “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”

Until You Come! by Myra Boozer

Until You Come,
I will search for you as a new born baby searches for its mother's milk. I will rely on you to take care of me.
Until You Come,
I will rise early and sit with you...before the demands of the day push you aside and leave me anxious, frustrated and feeling hopeless...
Until You Come,
I will wait for you with my eyes wide open. I won't allow the rushing waters of distraction to drown me...and cause me to miss your appearing…
Until You Come,
I will stay in close communion with you, waiting for your response and listening for your voice...
Until You Come,
I will sing your song of sweet redemption, your song of new life...The song of life over death... the one that brings me freedom...
Until You Come,
I will remember who you are and the price you paid for me...You purchased me with your blood and I am yours...
I will remember to whom I belong, Until You Come!
"And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart," Jeremiah 29:13.

The Origin Of Truth!

The first step in this process from Truth to confusion is a failure to embrace the work of the Holy Spirit. We must be able to recognize His presence and submit to His leadership if we are to walk in His Truth! (See part 1). The second step in the process from Truth to confusion is a failure to follow Truth. As a child of God we must seek for revelation of Truth and walk in that Truth without reservation. (See part 2).

The third step in the process from Truth to confusion is the failure to accurately discern the origin and author of Truth. We will not discover God’s Truth through only an academic or scholarly study of Scripture. There is an abundance of research tools and information available to the avid student of the Bible. But even with the best research and commentary we will come away lacking the epiphany we so desperately desire. It is impossible for the carnal mind to comprehend the mind of God unless we have a Divine encounter with God in the process.

Truth comes in its entirety from the throne of God. It cannot be a mixture of Spirit and flesh but must be 100% God. Any deviation is a mixture of heaven and earth and will result in a dilution of the heavenly message. The Truth is born of God and has to be born of the God in us. Paul said,”Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Phil. 2:5. We must be born again of the Spirit of God if we are to accurately discern the origin and author of Truth!

God is Truth! Jesus is Truth and we know the Father through the Son. John 14:6, “Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. 7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him." Jesus was the incarnation of God and as such the manifest character of God. God does not change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. And in God is no variableness. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” James 1:17. The principles of God are the same in every generation.

God’s Truth is constant in every generation. However our understanding of the Truth continues to change. The Truth does not change! Our understanding of Truth will continue to evolve. Therefore our understanding Truth is dependent upon our growing unto Christ. Eph. 2:20, “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Our concept of Truth will continue to change as we move progressively toward God in the complete revelation of who He is. The Truth doesn't change, only our understanding of Truth.

As a child of God, we want to believe that what we know and understand about God and His Kingdom is Truth. However, in an effort to convince others that what we believe is Truth, we fall into Satan's trap and become emissaries of a carnal doctrine cultivated by the flesh. A man delivers the message but God gives the revelation and will validate His message. Since we cannot understand God with the carnal mind, we must rely upon revelation and validation by the Holy Spirit. Then, we believe it is Truth because God has brought us into the revelation of Truth.

God is the origin and author of Truth. Our understanding will continue to evolve as we grow in God but the Truth remains constant forever. What we need is a relationship with God in which we can lay aside our beliefs and allow Him to teach us His Truth. The central issue is not our perception of what is right or wrong but our unquestionable obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit. God will confirm His Truth in the lives of His people. Remember! by Myra Boozer

You are stronger than you think,
remember to stand tall.
Every challenge in your life helps you to grow.
Every problem you encounter
strengthens your mind and your soul.
Every trouble you overcome
increases your understanding of life.
When all your troubles
weigh heavily on your shoulders,
remember that beneath the burden you can stand tall,
because you are never been given more
than you can handle...
and you are stronger than you think.
~ Lisa Wroble ~

Every challenge that I encounter will make me stronger, if I remember where my strength comes from and put my trust in Him. Yes, my strength comes from the Lord!
I must not forget that I never walk alone, for He knows the way I should take and He will direct my path in all my adventures. It is when I reach out to Him, when I place my hand in His that I really feel safe and secure. He is my Father and He always has my best interest at heart!

"Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me bless his holy name." Psalm 103:1

A Departure From Truth Results In Confusion! Part 2

The first step in this process from Truth to confusion is a failure to embrace the work of the Holy Spirit (see previous post). The Holy Spirit is our guide into the Truth of God's Word. We must be able to recognize His presence and submit to His leadership if we are to walk in His Truth!

The second step in the process from Truth to confusion is a failure to follow Truth. Not only must we be able to discern Truth, by the working of the Holy Spirit, but it is equally important that we walk in Truth as it is revealed to us. One function of the Holy Spirit is to reveal Truth and secondly, empower us to walk therein. As a child of God we must seek for revelation of Truth and walk in that Truth without reservation.

What is Truth? Jude is pleading in Jude 1:3, “...that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” Jude’s encouragement to “earnestly contend for the faith” is simply to hold to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Paul declared the power of the Gospel in Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;” This was the message given to the saints to proclaim to a lost and dying world.

By the time of Jude’s writing there was an influx of false teaching coming into the churches and finding a receptive ear. Jude was writing some 40 to 50 years after the death of Jesus. The Faith which Jesus taught was being diluted (not containing very much of the original message). The element gone missing was the TRUTH which Christ had preached and modeled.

It was upon this TRUTH that Jesus established His Church and the gates of hell will not prevail. Jesus had asked, “whom say ye that I am?” Matt. 16:15. Peter’s response was, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Matt. 16:16. Jesus stated that Peter knew this by revelation from God the Father and it is upon this Divine understanding of who Jesus is that He has built His Church and the gates of hell can not prevail against it. Matt. 16:18,”And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” This is the faith once delivered to the saints, the Truth of the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.

The power of the message is the TRUTH. The TRUTH is validated by the working of the Holy Spirit in the true believer. Validate is to recognize, establish, or illustrate the worthiness or legitimacy of. The Holy Spirit will demonstrate the legitimacy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Just as Jude pleaded with the first century Church, the Holy Ghost is pleading with the present day Church. He is saying repent and return to the Truth which Jesus taught and modeled. Therein is the power of God unto our salvation and ultimate victory! (More about this tomorrow).

Good News! by Myra Boozer

Singing the old songs and hymns can really make one homesick for Heaven and for our loved ones who are already there. Listening to these songs carries one into a place where the heart swells with love for our Lord Jesus. He is the one who has done so much for all of us...not just a few, a specific people or a particular nationality...BUT FOR EACH AND EVERYONE! That includes YOU...

He gave His all for YOU, whoever you are! If you're feeling lonely, forsaken, lost and hopeless, I have good news for you. You are not forgotten. Jesus knows you by name! He desires to forgive you and heal your broken heart. He wants a relationship with you like no one you have ever known. He will be your constant companion and friend, your provider, your confidant and your Savior. He will carry you through this life and take you to His Home when this life is over.

Just look up and give yourself in total surrender to Him. He sees every tear you cry and He knows just how you feel. You see, He too is forsaken and forgotten by so many today. Many who have in the past called Him Lord and Master have fallen into a trap of Satan. They have fallen for his lies and tried to make it without God. They are now bruised and battered by Satan. They were blinded by his influence as they were drawn away by their own lust. Some who were reaching for a higher level of fame and fortune have only fallen deeper and deeper into Satan's scheme of destruction. They are almost destroyed by this enemy, feeling rejection and hopelessness.

GOOD NEWS! It isn't too late because He still knows you by name. He knows your MOTHER’S NAME AND YOUR GRANDMOTHER'S NAME. HE REMEMBERS THOSE WHO PRAYED MANY PRAYERS FOR THEIR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN and He is answering those prayers. He also knows those who had no one to pray for them. He knows where you are and HE is there with you as you read this. Fall into His arms of Mercy! It's not too late but the time to seek Him is when He is calling. If you feel Him speaking to YOUR heart, Don't delay! Answer, Yes Lord! If you don't feel HIM, Cry out until you do feel Him! "The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit..." Psalm 34:18.

It's Time To Come Home!

In the book of Luke, chapter 15, a certain man had two sons. The youngest of them decided he wanted to go out and make his mark in the world. So he took his portion of his father’s goods and went away into a far country. There he wasted his inheritance in riotous living. “And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want,” Luke 15:14. He found himself living with pigs and no one would help him. However, it was while he suffered in those deplorable conditions that his sense of home returned to him. Luke 15:17, “And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father.”

In that terrible place and demeaning position he began to think about home and the pleasant memories of serving in his father's house. He came to his right senses saying, “I will arise and go to my father...” v17. His sense of guilt and remorse brought him to a state of repentance making him willing to be a servant in his father's house. He left his deplorable life and returned to his father. His father received him with open arms declaring, “...my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry,” v.24.

It’s Time To Come Home! It doesn’t matter where you are or how deplorable your life. Your Heavenly Father loves you and stands waiting with His arms open ready to welcome you home. Come on home son or daughter! Your provision is in the Father’s house!

John 6:35, “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”

Truth Will Prevail! by Myra Boozer

I want to hear YOU Lord! I want to listen to Your Word and also hear Your voice! The winds are blowing up a storm and I see on the horizon a new dilemma, a time of trouble, a time of emergency for those who are not aware, for those not prepared, for those who are busy and overtaken by their own plans and desires.

What do we do? They have ears to hear, but do not hear, and eyes to see, but do not see. They are getting angry with those speaking about your Return. They are not interested in our words! They have Big Plans to stay! Sometimes I feel I am pulling back, I don't want to do that, I pray you give me Your words.

(This is the answer God gave!)
"Truth will PREVAIL...
Truth will stand STRONG, in the evil and corrupt day...
It will be VICTORIOUS...
It will SING LOUD AND STRONG...
It will TRIUMPH...
No enemy is able to stand AGAINST Truth...
The WORD is TRUTH...
The WORD is GOD...
I am the BEGINNING and the END...
I have NO other PLAN...
I will SURVIVE!
Those who want to be on the winning side must come along with the PLAN I have laid down...NO other plan, No other way!
FORSAKE all and FOLLOW ME.
BE INSTANT IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON...
CLOTHE yourself in RIGHTEOUSNESS...
RIGHT LIVING and BELIEVING will be the TICKET for the SURVIVAL of MY BODY...
NO ONE can come to me except they come MY WAY...
I AM THE WAY...
TRUTH will PREVAIL...and the SON will shine after the STORM...
LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING, but LEAN ON ME, FOR I AM THE STRONG AND MIGHTY ONE...
I AM HE THAT KEEPETH ISRAEL...I DO NOT SLEEP AND I AM NOT SLACK CONCERNING MY PROMISES TO YOU AND ALL WHO LOVE ME...
SEEK ME DAILY with all of your SOUL, MIND AND STRENGTH...
TRUST ME! STAY CLOSE AND BELIEVE THAT I AM HE WHO IS FROM THE BEGINNING...I AM MIGHTY TO RESCUE AND SAVE ALL WHO CALL ON ME…"

A Departure From Truth Results In Confusion!

As a child of God, a person would not intentionally walk away from the Truth of God. So, what has happened when on this journey to serve God’s will and purpose, they become confused and don’t know which way to proceed. They cannot understand how they arrived at such a place in their attempt to please the Lord. There are several factors that come into play and I will address each one over the next few days.

The first step in this process from Truth to confusion, is a failure to embrace the work of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. John 15:26, “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:” The Holy Spirit is sent from the Father and will testify of Jesus Christ. He will do nothing to oppose or contradict the Father or the Son.

Now, a child of God would do nothing to oppose or contradict the Father or the Son. Jesus said in John 14:6, “...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” It is obvious that if we are to follow God and the Son, we will embrace the work of the Holy Spirit. However, we must be very careful as to our acceptance or denial of doctrine labeled as Scriptural Precepts. The label does not define the true character of the doctrine but the measure of that doctrine is defined by the Holy Spirit through the Holy Scriptures. God’s Truth will deliver the sin sick soul, bring freedom to shackled lives and heal the wounded heart! The measure of Truth is the effect it has in the life of a true believer.

The Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit is the sustaining force within each believer. He will lead and guide us into the Truth of God's Word. However, there are many voices claiming to speak for God. It is paramount that we learn to recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit and separate from the seducing spirits of this world. Although God uses human vessels to share His message, we must know God in an intimate relationship so He can speak directly to us. Then, what He is telling us will be confirmed by what He is telling other believers. In the multitude of counselors, there is safety! (Proverbs 11:14). The Holy Spirit and the Word will teach us the Truth.

Therefore, it is imperative that the Body of Christ derive the correct interpretation of scripture. The only way that can happen is through the unopposed work of the Holy Spirit and acceptance of the Truth without reservation. We don't have to understand all that the Holy Spirit is revealing but just to recognize that it is He who is revealing. The complete understanding may be for a later time. The power of the message is TRUTH! The TRUTH is validated by the Holy Spirit! A Departure From Truth Results In Confusion! (More on this subject tomorrow).

Purity Precedes Peace! by Myra Boozer

There are so many voices in our world today and I seem to be one of them. I believe that all those who love God and are the called according to His purpose must sound the alarm and tell people what the Bible has to say. 1 Peter 4:7 reads, "The end of all things is at hand (near): be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer." To watch means to be awake, alert in order to guard.

Have you ever been so overtaken by something...bad news...or an accident...that you felt your senses were dulled and you could not pray? We must seek God to temper (qualify) us for those times ahead...that we will be alert and sober minded so we can pray.

I find myself needing to know what to pray and how to pray. I need wisdom, not wisdom that the world gives but wisdom from God...James 1:5, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” The word “upbraideth” means to rebuke severely, censure, scold. So, we don't have to worry that God is not interested in giving us wisdom. If we ask, He will give liberally and without rebuke or scolding. This is a wonderful promise.

To continue from a recent submission on the description of wisdom from the book of James 3:17-18...the first and foremost characteristic is "wisdom is pure"...the second one is “peaceable.” We can see that even though our world may be seeking "peace," it is characterized by dissension and controversy. BUT the wisdom of God is peaceable, "peace loving" (NIV). This is not peace at any price...notice peace does not precede purity...it is "pure then peaceable." God's ultimate intention for the world is peace! Matt 5:9 "blessed are the peacemakers…" I do not think that accepting what the world wants us to accept (any ungodly lifestyle) is going to bring peace because that would be "by-passing" purity. That is not the answer. Even though we may not have external peace, as followers of Christ we are blessed with the inward peace that only God can give. Jesus stated in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid…" The Lord so desires to take away ALL our fears and replace them with peace...a peace that surpasses all our understanding...fear of dying...fear of war or famine...fear of all that is coming on this world.

It is so amazing what He can do when we ASK! Just remember, ask for purity (a cleansing of the heart, mind and soul first). It comes before peace. Peace will not invade a heart where the love of God does not reside! Purity Precedes Peace!

Push Back Against The Darkness!

Our struggles in the spirit realm have spilled over into our physical world and invariable affect our way of life. It is a serious matter for a person, a community or nation to exclude God from their daily life. That is exactly what has transpired in many nations including the United States. God has been legislated out of our schools, governments and public arenas. It is there that truth and justice should be promoted and encouraged. We have allowed our leaders to prohibit the mention of God in our public places and then wonder why is our world in such a mess. We have excluded God and He has left us to our own devices and the consequences of governing in the flesh.

Satan has silently done his work. We did not recognize the evil he intended and unwittingly became a partaker of his evil scheme. But we cannot go silently into the night. Even at this late hour we must draw attention to the evil and avarice in this world! We must take a stand for truth and righteousness!

Matt. 5:14, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

What has happened to the light? Where are God’s Champions for Truth and Righteousness? Jude 1:3, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” Instead of being separated from the world to be a light to the world, the world has been assimilated into the churches. When we rely more on the planning and production models that we have observed in the world than on the revelation and anointing of the Holy Spirit, how can we expect people to be enlightened and changed. Can we really expect lives to be convicted of sin and changed in repentance and regeneration without the leading and anointing of the Holy Spirit?

Why do we fall back on the arm of the flesh? Because it is the easier route. With the abundance of resources available on the internet, almost anyone can develop their own program or plan. However, for revelation and the anointing of the Holy Ghost we have to go to God’s Word, take time to be alone with God and His Word. We have to bury our faces into the carpet on the floor and cry out to God with every thing that is within us, fervently seeking God to send His fire among us to address the needs of a lost and dying world. That requires much more of an investment. That investment is us, all of us, every fiber in our very being. Nothing can be held back because we know that God requires all if we are to have His approval and intervention.

Spiritual darkness has come upon this world like a spiritual tsunami! We must actively and purposefully push back against that darkness. We must bombard heaven in intercessory prayer and push back against the powers of darkness in the power of the Holy Ghost. “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” Let His Beacon of Light shine brightly through your vessel! Push Back Against The Darkness!

What God Has Ordained He Will Establish! by Myra Boozer

Isaiah 46:9, “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, 10Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: 11Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.”

I love walls and gates. I love boundaries of protection with gates that open to new revelation or new experiences. In 2013 and before, we were praying, "Open the doors you want open Lord and close those you want closed." We have learned His Ways are so much better than ours and to Trust Him brings great Joy!

Now, today we are giving so much Praise and Honor to our Lord who opened the way for us to minister to the Whole World. We are so humbled and feel like David...whom God pulled from the fields all dirty and sweaty from tending to his Father's sheep...unworthy, unknown by many and just hidden away from all the crowds...but yet remembering what God had spoken to us on many occasions and He has made our calling and election very sure (confident, positive, absolute, certain without doubt, determine, ESTABLISH). We knew that in His time He would reveal to us His Will for these Last Days. I was reminded by a friend as she told me that God spoke these words to her 12 months ago, "What God ordains He will establish." Those whom God calls, He ordains, He consecrates with His anointing. It is not for us to question but to yield to His timing. For He will establish (to work or settle in a permanent place) build up, set up, install, to prove, verify, and confirm.

David's own family had no real confidence in him. When he went to the battlefield to serve them food, they knew him as their little brother doing the work that maybe they didn't want to do. He wasn't a popular person but he was a person who loved God and had seen first hand how God had protected him against the bear and the lion. David had a song in his heart that God loved to hear and God chose him to be anointed as the King of Israel.

To be a “nobody” is not so bad when God knows you by name and knows exactly where you are. He also knows He can depend on you to listen to His voice, be obedient and follow His commands when the Gate opens. At that point he will lead you into new and deeper revelation of Himself that you can be the witness that He has ordained you to be. Whatever the task great or small...such an honor to be used of God to minister to others. What God Has Ordained He Will Establish!

Be A Good Steward Of This Time! It's Getting Late!

Ephesians 5:15, “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. 18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”

I am grateful for another day of life that God has given us. He has given us another opportunity to share His Gospel with a lost and dying world. We must use the hours, the minutes and seconds wisely. We must use THIS TIME wisely! THIS TIME is so important because our time to finish His mission is short.

Every day and hour previous to this time has been intricate to the plan of God and instrumental to our success in service to Him. However, many times we have needed to return to God and ask Him for a “do over.” The outcome of our plan didn’t turn out the way it was supposed to or we failed to follow through with our plan for some reason. Whatever the circumstance, God has given us a second chance to get it right. We usually have had the opportunity to do that. We are come to a time when that is no longer a luxury!

We have come to the threshold of eternity and we may not have time to go back and fix it. We need to get it right the first time! I’m afraid we will not have a second chance. How many people do we pass in a days time never to see or influence that person again? What will happen to them if no one else steps into their lives to inspire them to follow Jesus Christ? Sure, they will hear the Gospel message in some form or fashion but you just lost the opportunity to make a difference in eternity for that person or persons. We cannot afford to be negligent in being a good steward of this time. The unsaved certainly cannot afford for us to fail them!

In Ephesians 5, Paul is instructing all who would be accepted of God to follow Him as children of God. The Apostle is encouraging us all to be imitators of Christ. What did Jesus do that we are to imitate? He gave himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor. And, God received Him as the sacrifice for the sins of all mankind once and for all. Jesus Christ has called upon all who will follow Him to be a living sacrifice for His cause. Am I willing to sacrifice my life to follow in His?

Paul goes on to state that the believer is to walk as children of light. Previously, we were walking in darkness, but now we are light in the Lord. Therefore, live as children of light to shine in the darkness to direct the way of others. He said, “walk circumspectly,” or carefully knowing that our lives, our testimony will affect those around. The response of others will depend on how we have responded to the Gospel and let Christ transform our lives. “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Make the most of the time God has given us knowing that when that moment has expired it is lost forever to eternity. Evil is ever present to resist the Gospel but the love of Jesus Christ is much stronger. Darkness is ever present and will increase as we draw closer to the end but His Light shines even brighter in the darkness.

My desire is to be a good steward of this time, this hour, this moment God has given us to SHINE for Him. Will you join me in this prayer: “Lord Jesus Christ guide me in the path you have chosen for me. Direct my steps that they not turn to the right or left, that I will not be distracted from Your mission. May I live this day in the very best possible way for You and in You. Thank You Lord for including me in Your Plan! Glory and Honor to the Name of Jesus! Amen.” Be A Good Steward Of This Time! It's Getting Late!

He Is More Than Enough! by Myra Boozer

John 14:13, “Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.“That speaks to me about a life without want. Remember, "The Lord is MY Shepherd, I shall not want...the broader meaning, not lacking, not deficient in proper care, management or husbandry. But a second emphasis is the idea of being utterly contented in the Good Shepherd's care and consequently not craving or desiring anything more," taken from A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23 by Phillip Keller.

As I have been reading in the Book of Mark about Jesus, the disciples and the multitudes, I really honed in on a question Jesus ask the disciples as they had departed in a ship to the "other side" away from the crowds. As they left, the disciples realized they only had one loaf of bread on the entire ship, real dilemma for hungry men. This is what Jesus had to say about their reasoning over such a small amount of bread. Mark 8:17-18, "...Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened? Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? AND DO YE NOT REMEMBER? When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many BASKETS FULL of fragments took ye up? They said unto him TWELVE. And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said SEVEN, and he said unto them, HOW IS IT THAT YE DO NOT UNDERSTAND?" When we have Jesus in our life, we are covered at all times. He has provision and it is MORE THAN ENOUGH! Now these guys are talking about a loaf of bread not a Banquet. Many may feel that God let's them down or doesn't provide because they do not receive a "Lobster Fest" on a Cruise Ship.

I found this statement today...."God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him." When the desires of this world can fade away like a fog lifting off the valley, I believe that we find a new perspective about life, love and our relationship with others, especially God. He just fills our every longing and desire. We no longer are pushed and pressured into needing anything except Him and His presence. It is no longer about me and what I must attain or receive from this world. He becomes my focus. He brings my life to the fullest and my heart can sing in the midst of chaos, because I know He Is More Than Enough for today, tomorrow and forever...and He always has leftovers...His storehouse is FULL...

What Would Jesus Do?

What would Jesus do if He were with us right now? How would He react to all the tragic events taking place in our world. What would He propose as the solution for our dilemma. If He literally walked among us today, I suppose He would behave much the same way He did when He walked the streets of Jerusalem and the shores of Galilee. He would still be calling disciples, opening blinded eyes and deaf ears, healing all manner of diseases and raising the dead. I suppose He would still be turning the money changers out of the places of worship, chastising the religious leaders for their selfish goals, and constantly reforming the way we conduct church to ensure that the focus of our worship is the Lord God, Father of all. I suppose He would still take charge of nature by causing the winds to be still and the boisterous waves to be at peace.

What a difference He would make if He were literally, physically here with us. He would speak peace to the storms that disrupt our daily lives and take our innocent ones from us. He would speak deliverance to the captives, those captured by the destructive and the perverse plans of Satan. He would open the eyes and ears of those who are imprisoned by deception and false religion. He would openly and decisively challenge the egregious behavior that has invaded His house. He would put the devil in his place by casting him out and confining him to the pit of hell. What a difference Jesus would make!

Oh! But wait! He is here! He lives in the heart of every Spirit-filled believer in the person of His Holy Spirit. What a difference He wants to make through you and me! Let us give ourselves wholly to Him and see Him bring good tidings to the meek, bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, and open the prison to them that are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of our Lord.

What a difference the presence of the Holy Spirit makes in this spiritual conflict. He is empowering us to take back what the enemy has stolen from us. Satan has stolen the future of our priceless treasures, our heritage, our progeny and holds them before us taunting us as one might taunt a caged animal. But we must be determined not to be bound by him. By the power (dunamis - ability/can) of the Holy Spirit (pneuma – the breath of God) we are loosed and walk in freedom. Acts 2:2, “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” By the power of Almighty God the door of the prison explodes and we are FREE, FREE to bombard the gates of hell and take back ALL Satan has stolen.

We are free so that we can lead others free. Jesus came to set the captives free. As His Holy Spirit indwells us, we are free to be the visible evidence of the delivering power of God. We are free to be the God living, God breathing, miraculous working possession of God. We belong to Him. There is no power of hell that can defeat a Spirit-filled child of God. We are free in God to restore what the enemy has stolen.

What Would Jesus Do? He would do the very same thing now that He did then! Let Him do it through YOU!

There Is A Place! by Myra Boozer

Don't you wish there was a place where all those of us who are so "offensive," "negative" and just too "Bible oriented" could go. A place where there are no parades with some being naked (men and women), young and old acting foolish, being vulgar and despicable, even desecrating our Nations Flag and the Holy Bible. Where there are no terrorist killing the fathers of the little children and leaving the Moms the responsibilities to raise them alone with broken hearts. A place where all babies are loved and protected against murderers and from people who are selling their precious little body parts so they can finance the luxury cars they so desire. A place where there are no criminals, murderers, rapist or drunk drivers killing innocent families and children. A place where there is no one being sold as a sex slave. A place without the bars, clubs, drugs, pornography, cheaters on their wives or husbands. No “50 shades of Gray," No same sex marriage.

A place where the laws of God aren't being defiled. A place where people know about love and not lust. A place where people tell the truth and live by that truth. A place where those who have needs get what they need. A place where you can feel safe and don't need a gun, alarm system or big dogs for protection. A place where the children run and play and there are no bullies or vile people trying to invade their lives and steal their innocence. A place where the elderly are safe and cared for and no one is trying to rip them off and take their life’s savings and take away the few years they have left.

A place where the love of God is in the hearts of all the people and they enjoy His Presence with freedom to sing, dance and worship the God of all Creation. A place of healing and restoration, triumph and beauty, love and laughter, Peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost. No barriers between us and the One who came and gave His life for ALL who would ask forgiveness and Follow Him.

There IS a place! Jesus said he would go and prepare a place for US and that He would come again to get us and take us to that place to be with Him. Where NO SIN, NO DEFILED PERSON CAN ENTER. The place is called HEAVEN. I AM SURE YOU KNOW SOMEONE ALREADY THERE. We must get ready and stay ready for in such an hour as you are not even thinking about it, He could come. OH I CAN HARDLY WAIT.

This is what heaven means to me! www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-YSLCrsU6c

Put On The Armor Of God!

Eph. 6:10, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

As I read this text, I am reminded of a passage in 1 Samuel 17. The armies of Israel were engaged in a conflict with the Philistines. The Philistines had presented a challenge for Israel to face their champion. It was no coincidence that a young shepard boy by the name of David was present that day. The heart of this young lad was stirred that this infidel would challenge the army of the God of Israel. David went to King Saul and told him that he would face this giant Goliath. Saul insisted that David be dressed in the king’s armor but it did not fit him. And David had not proven the armor. David entered the plain of battle with only what he trusted. He had his sling, five smooth stones and an unshakable faith in his God. David was the victor and Israel was delivered because of his unwavering faith. He was dressed in the armor of God!

We are engaged in a great spiritual war. We are not fighting flesh and blood but against spirits and against the very ruler of the darkness of this world. Eph. 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:”

Saul’s armor was not beneficial to David. He chose rather to put his faith in the awesome power of God. We must choose to follow the example set by David. Far too many are trusting in man made theology and man made plans. We must have the anointing and covering of God to meet our enemy and be victorious in this conflict. Anything less than total surrender to the plan of God will certainly insure defeat.

Many who once stood for Biblical principles and righteous living avoid confronting the societal pressures of our day. The progressive thinkers in our society demand that the Church embrace all people, all lifestyles, and all manner of behavior. In so doing they are removing their covering of Holiness, Divine protection, and Divine intervention. They no longer wear the whole armor of God. These so called Christians stand naked before God and in this present spiritual battle. The assets that Jesus gave for the victory of the Body of Christ are no longer available to them. Why? Because they have stripped away their covering, no longer desiring to be identified with Christ's teaching that the Church is to be separated from the world. 2 Cor. 6:17, “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.” They have removed their covering and therefore, they stand powerless in the face of overwhelming darkness.

But not all churches or individuals have given up their role in the Body of Christ. There is a remnant of true believers who are seeking for God's intervention into the affairs of men. God is answering their prayers. God is moving where believers are submissive and obedient. They access and God delivers the “dunamis” of Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” That is Christ's promise!

The army of Christ is rising up. Rising up in the covering of Jesus Christ. That covering being the manifest presence of Christ in the Holy Ghost. If you have received since you believed, you carry the covering of Christ. I feel the urging of the Holy Spirit calling upon the Body of Christ to rise up in the power of that covering and do His work. What is that work? To preach the gospel for the salvation of souls. If we will accept His commission, we have His promise! The gates of hell cannot prevail against the Body of Christ. Why? Because we are secure in Christ's covering! We are dressed in God’s Armor and filled with His Holy Spirit!

My Conversation With God! by Myra Boozer

Father God, I come to You in humble adoration for what You mean to me. You are my strength like no other. When the world comes crumbling down in front of me, when the enemy tries to flood my thinking with fear about the day in which we live, You Lord, come and hold me in Your arms of great comfort. You sooth all my doubts and calm all my fears. You hold my head up so I can breath.

Lord, You know where we are and what is going on this world. It does not take You by surprise for You have been here already. You are the beginning and the end! You are the everlasting and the glorious future.

I stand in awe of Your great power, Your love and Your mercy that surrounds me. I know You abide in this place. I feel Your Spirit upon me. I am honored to live my life in Your presence and have Your strong arm of protection against the enemy. I am pleased to write Your Words when they overflow the banks of my mind. I am humbled to pray for the sick as compassion arises in my heart. I am blessed by Your voice that speaks unction and direction. I am honored to be called Your Child!

Today, I am asking for a greater anointing to speak to the Nations, to speak to the world around me. I want to speak to those who have a desire to know You, to hear what You are saying through what You give me to write. But, I need the strength of Your anointing! I am helpless, I am empty, I am nothing without Your anointing! When You come and sit with me, speaking directly to my heart, something arises and I feel such love and compassion for the world and those around me that need You. Lord, we really need You, not for the moment but for always and forever!

Lord, our babies are being destroyed before their time. Our youth are being shot down by those whose minds are confused and troubled, those who have not found faith or strength from family, friends or this society. Our families are broken because of sin, many because of sinful sexual desires that have left the family broken without a mother or a father. This has caused so much anger and hopelessness. Many children are turning to drugs, sex, violence and a life of crime. Our government is in a heap of turmoil because of lies and deceit. Nothing new, just the same ole politics that have gone deeper and deeper into corruption. This is causing much disturbance, with many harsh and hateful words being spoken even among friends and families.

Our world is struggling as there is such division and unrest among people. Many no longer want to be a people "Under God." They no longer want to recognize You in our schools, or our society. They have cast You out and are looking to their own devious ways of doing things, which is bringing persecution to the Christian Believer.

Today my prayer is that You will send a strong desire in the heart of every believer to ARISE with Your power and declare Your Word to a lost and troubled world. Arise and declare a Word for the hour and an Anointing to break the bondage that has such a great hold on the multitudes. Luke 1:79, “To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Are We Prepared To Engage The Enemy?

1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”

Satan is like a wild animal going about seeking to devour. He is attempting to destroy everything and everyone associated with God. The spirit of Antichrist is becoming stronger as each day passes. The verdict of the world community is the destruction of everything affiliated with Jesus Christ. This is the rise of the last days influence of Satan setting the stage for the beast in the prophecy of Daniel in the Old Testament and in the prophecy of John in the book of Revelation.

This is not a new conflict. The forces of good and evil have been embroiled in battle since Lucifer's original rebellion in heaven. Consequently, all humanity has been thrust into the midst of this ageless conflict beginning with original man and affecting every generation since.

The consequences of the conflict can be directly related to the rebellion of man against the sovereignty and law of God. Although times of evil and darkness have gripped the earth in centuries past, the grand finale is still to come. Satan is preparing for his last stand. He knows his end and will do everything in his power to destroy all he can. He has targeted world governments, world leaders, Christian leaders, Christian churches, Christian families and individual Christians. His goal is to destroy order and control. He wants to create total chaos.

We find ourselves fully engaged in this timeless struggle. Paul stated in Ephesians 6:12 that we are fighting a warfare in the spiritual realm, against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We are fighting for our very lives, our children, grandchildren, friends, neighbors and as many as our Lord God shall call.

The course of human history is directly related to the willingness of mankind to seek after and follow the sovereign will of God. We can make that observation in relation to the current state of our world. In recent years we have seen a digression from Biblical morals and values and a more rapid deviation from Biblical principles in the past decade. This behavior has brought us to where we are as a nation and as a world community. The consequences of rebellion will rule eternity. How we respond to the voice of God will determine our future and the future of all who will hear us.

The stage is set for Satan's last stand. The spirit of Antichrist is moving all the players into their positions. Demonic powers are running rampant. The world population is following the deception like sheep to the slaughter. Because the nations have rejected the influence of the Gospel and the work of the Holy Spirit, God has left them to their own devices to the destruction of their societal structure.

The alarm should be shouted from every mountain top. God is preparing the whole world for the last phase. The last phase will be the “new world order,” or “one world order.” The spirit of Antichrist is energized by the spirit of darkness. We know from Scripture that Satan’s goal is one world government and one world religion.

Individual liberties are being destroyed and control relegated to the powers that be...governments, local, state, national and international. The stage is set and the players are moving into place. We can not change what is coming, only our response to it. The sin of the world hastens the coming judgment. Let the watchman on the wall cry aloud as the enemy approaches. In doing so he will save himself and all that will hear him.

Time To Stop The Busyness! by Myra Boozer

The prince of this world (Satan) has a plan. He is seeking those whom he may devour. I Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” He is working and controlling every person who will listen to him. But, God has given a window to the Child of God, an opportunity to PRAY. Also a time to sound the alarm before the LORD places judgment on him (Satan) and all those who have obeyed the voice of the evil one. God is giving us time to warn people, a time to pray and seek Him, a time to come close to Him and gain strength for the days ahead.

Don't become so busy with plans and programs that you forget the DAY we are living in. Know that after we pray, we will still be living in the scheme (an orderly combination of things on a definite plan) for the last days. We can't change the times and seasons that God has ordained, but we will be filled with strength and hope of King Jesus having the final say in this battle.

The days of Judgment are coming and only those held in Jesus’ hands will be overcomers. Death has no sting for the child of God. Death is not the end but the door to Eternal Life thru Jesus Christ. Seek Him while He may be found!

Let him that has ears to hear, HEAR! Why? "Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof; I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated KNOWLEDGE, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore they shall eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil." Proverbs 1:24-33

A Call To Arms! Conclusion

When Christian churches all over the world began to let the Truth slip away, it created a void, a vacuum. The noun form of the word “vacuum” is defined by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary as “a situation created when an important person or thing has gone and has not been replaced.” This vacuum was not only created in the churches spiritual structure but also in the lives of individuals. And that void screams out to be filled. Why? Because an important person or thing has gone and has not been replaced. The Person gone is the Holy Spirit and the thing gone is Truth. Satan rushes in to replace Truth and Righteousness with Deception and Sin.

Over a period of time, Satan has gradually slipped into the churches and undermined the power and authority that belongs to the Body of Christ. Many churches and individuals have given in to the pressures of society and embraced unholy alliances with the forces of darkness in our world. The assets that Jesus gave for the victory of the Body of Christ are no longer available to them. They have removed their covering and therefore stand powerless before the enemy.

Jesus said in Matt. 28:18, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Jesus gave His Power to His Church to Finish His Work. And again in Matt. 16:18, “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” The gates of hell can not prevail over the Power of the Kingdom of Heaven. Satan is defeated by the delivering power of Jesus’ blood sacrifice. Through the power of His precious blood, We declare VICTORY as the blood bought Body of Christ.

The Holy Ghost is issuing “A Call To Arms.” It is time for every member of Heaven’s Army to dress for the conflict that is just ahead. We must make ready for confrontation with the darkness of hell! We must prepare to engage the enemy of all things good in his active hostilities against the holiness of God’s Kingdom! He that has ears to hear let him hear the consistent and universal sound of God’s Trumpeter. We cannot miss this Call To Arms! We must be vigilant in our duty as a warrior for Jesus Christ. “Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee,” 1 Tim. 4:16.

A Life Of Dead Rituals! by Myra Boozer

God is telling us something...He cares! He really cares for everything that concerns us. The Lord gave me this early one morning after I had been so sick. I got up out of bed three times as the Lord was impressing me to write. I am only sharing part. "Don't let your life become a routine of dead rituals. You will drown in a sea of dead deeds with no life and no resurrection. The living must live in the ‘now experience’ of Jesus Christ with a daily submission to His will for their life. Arise out of sleep and stand on the Banks of Resurrection where there is life, freedom and hope as fresh and new as the living waters that flow in the stream of your salvation. The dead are dead but the living are alive in Him. No more rituals. No more going through the motions. Rejoice in your new Freedom. Sing and be Glad!" Read it again and again as we must understand. Our salvation is new every morning. Jesus is calling us to awake from our FORM of godliness, from our cold and unfruitful life, from our downtrodden life and be whole and complete in Him. HE IS LIFE!

Colossians 2:6, “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:" This is the only way to be complete. All the searching and wandering will NEVER end in the desired results until one receives Christ and follows HIM. Following Jesus is never dull or boring. He is very much alive, refreshing and revitalizing (means to breath new life into).

Don't get caught up in a list of traditional "must do's" in order to be a Christian. Remember, you can drown in the routine of dead rituals. True Repentance will make you alive in Christ Jesus. When you experience this radical change in your life, you will rejoice in your Freedom from sin and the bondage it had you in. You will want to tell someone, so tell them! You will want to read and study the Word, so take time for it. You will want to pray for others, not because it is your duty but because you have great compassion for them. You will want to worship so put your worship music on and spend time in the presence of the Lord. During this time, pour out your heart to Him. You don't have to be in church to worship. Worship is a matter of the heart. Never allow your love for God to grow cold. Remember, live in the "now experience" of Jesus Christ. Keep Your worship on! It is a great way to pray and praise the ONE you love, Jesus Christ!

A Call To Arms!

The definition for this phrase is a command to report for active military duty or a summons to engage in active hostilities. It is generally applied to a call to defend or make ready for confrontation. It is understood as a call to arms to defend against attack. In Bible times such a call was usually a trumpet which was a ram’s horn. It was very important that both the trumpeter and the entire army recognize the sound of the trumpet’s call to battle. 1 Cor. 14:8, “For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?” Paul used this analogy in a different context but still supports the principle of this statement. If the call is to result in a significant response to ascertain victory, the sound of the trumpet must be consistent and universal. The sound must be the same every time.

The principle of consistency and universality applies to the teachings of the Word of God. The point being that the Word of God is a Word from God. God never changes! Malachi 3:6, “For I am the LORD, I change not;” God’s Word never changes! It is equally applicable in each generation. James 1:17, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” Every good and perfect gift is from above and comes down from our Father who is the Light of men and in whom there is no variation, inconsistency or shifting shadow. God and His Word are consistent and universal in every generation.

This same principle applies to the Church of God as the Body of Christ. The sound of the trumpet must be the same every time and for all people. To be more specific, the interpretation of the Word of God must be the same every time and to all generations. Holy counsel and guidance must be the same each time and for each person. As an instrument and emissary of our never changing God, the Body of Christ must maintain the standard of Holy Scripture and be consistent and universal in every generation.

Do you ever think seriously about why our world is in the condition that it is in? I have asked myself that question many times over the course of the past few months. This is what I believe has happened. In the study of physics we are taught “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” This is referred to as Newton's third law of motion. There is also a principle called the “principle of causation.” It is defined as the operation or relation of a cause and its effect. I want to use Newton's law of motion to evaluate the cause and effect of the world's present crisis. (continued tomorrow)
