What's On Your Calendar? by Myra Boozer

For the Lord himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we EVER be with the Lord... Wherefore, COMFORT one another with these words...I Thessalonians 4:16-18

For the Child of God... this should be on your Calendar! He is coming, we don't know when, but we know He is Coming...I do NOT regret the years I have lived my life with this Anticipation...even though He has not returned as of yet...It has made me who I am and has kept me more focused on what is eternal, instead of what is temporal. The word temporal means worldly, not spiritual, secular, of, or limited by time. (Webster's New Dictionary)

I believe the way we live our lives on a daily basis has such an influence on ALL the decisions we make. And on our goals and expectations of life. If we are continually focused on our plans for today, if our life revolves around "us" and what we want, we will be grabbing for all the gusto we can get. Not really thinking of the day we are living in and where we are on God's Calendar. We then become addicted to these things and never fulfilled, never satisfied. Always searching, always desiring for "something" new, something different to fill our life. You see this is a trick from all the way back to Eve the "lust of the eye." It was just so appealing and she just had to have it, also the promise from the serpent, that it would make her like God...It inevitably brings its reward of spiritual death...if not repented of. What is on your calendar for the next few weeks or months?? This thought might help us to re-evaluate where we are and where we're going.

Many Are Called But Few Are Chosen! by Myra Boozer

God is looking for an Army and many are satisfied to be Cheerleaders...Go God Go! Yes, Lord yes! You can do it God!

Or Go Pastor Go! You can do it Pastor! But God is saying to us “Go Mighty Army...Yes Church Yes! You can do it Church! I left the work for you to accomplish...Get into my Word and the path will be clear. I didn't leave without giving you instructions and directions for the task at hand...The Harvest is Great, the time is short, the laborers are few and many are weak...Take strength in my Power.. I alone am the Power Source... don't look to yourselves.”

Sing the Battle Song, sing it loud and strong! "Like a Mighty Army moves the church of God"..."Onward Christian Soldiers marching as to war with the cross of Jesus going on before..."

Arise take up your cross...only those in the heat of the Battle are God’s true Warriors. Don't be a traitor, don't lay your armor down. The enemy is far too close, you will not be spared. Time is swiftly passing, the end is getting near. Those that slumber and sleep will be left behind. Awake Church! The Army of God has a destiny...an appointed end.

The Wedding Supper is already in the making, the halls are lined with banners and the Heavenly Host is getting in tune. The flowers are on the table and the candles are being lit, the music is swelling and the Bridegroom is ready, waiting for His Father to give the command, “Go and bring my children home.”

In my prayer time sometime back I asked the Lord, "When are you coming?” In my heart I heard, "Coming soon...not yet...I am going to call all I have chosen.” Matthew 22:14, " For many are called but few are chosen.”

Extended reading.. Matthew 6 and Luke 12

The Beginning Of Sorrows!

The Scripture teaches us that the end times will be filled with chaos. In the midst of all the turmoil, all the shaking stands the Church, the Body of Christ. The Church is the vehicle chosen by Christ to carry the Gospel to the world. The hope of this world is Jesus Christ as He is manifest in and through the Body of Christ. Jesus will equip and empower His Body to rise up in His Name and do great things even in the midst of darkness and evil. He will preserve the Church until she has completed her mission in the earth and then He will rapture her away.

The Lord Jesus will preserve His Bride through all the unrest and destruction coming upon our world. But, to accomplish this task the efforts of the enemy must be thwarted and his uncontrolled exercise of influence inside the churches must be curtailed. Therefore, the Body of Christ must be joined together in an undivided resolve to bombard heaven with prayer, seek for and embrace the anointing of the Holy Spirit and thrust forward in the unbridled power of obedience in the Holy Ghost. The days ahead will call for unprecedented allegiance to and trust in the promises of Jesus Christ.

Mark 13:5, “And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 7And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. 8For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.”

First, we must look at the context of these verses in relation to their immediate application. Christ was alluding to the immediate future when many of these circumstances would occur but also at the end of the age. We can conclude that these scriptures were partially fulfilled when the Romans destroyed the Temple and Jerusalem in AD 70. The Jews were scattered to every corner of the world and only began to return to their homeland in 1948. Since that time, God has been bringing them home.

The tribulations and calamities which preceded and accompanied the overthrow of Israel at that time are a sign and warning of the great and universal woes which will bring in the great day of the Lord and the judgment of God. The reference alludes to the beginning of something much worse which is yet to come.

Ellicott's Commentary states that the words, “the beginning of sorrows” mean strictly, the beginning of travail pangs. Paul speaks of the whole creation as travailing in pain together. So a time of national suffering and perplexity is one in which the children are come to the birth. Romans 8:22, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”

At one point in my conversations with the Lord, He said to me that “this judgment is as natural a breathing.” In light of these scriptures in Matthew and Mark, I am convinced that the Holy Spirit is connecting the “natural as breathing” to the birthing process. The term “beginning of sorrows” is associated with childbirth and literally means the beginning of travail pangs. If that is correct, we can conclude that the judgment we are seeing (which is the result of sowing sinful seeds) and will see in the immediate future is a prelude to the birthing process which will bring forth a new Israel reborn, a new kingdom (the implementation of the literal Kingdom of God) and a new world (new heaven and earth).

Let us understand that God will preserve His Church, the Bride of Christ through all the unrest and destruction coming upon our world. He will equip and empower His Church to rise up in His Name and do great things even in the midst of darkness and evil. He will preserve the Church until she has completed her mission in the earth and then He will rapture her away. In both Matthew and Mark’s writing, the “beginning of sorrows” described by Jesus are a prelude to the beginning of something much worse which is yet to come.

Mark 13:19, “For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. 20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.”

No Longer A Slave To Sin! by Myra Boozer

When God changes you, accept the FACT that you have been changed, not of yourself, but by His Transforming Power. You must have your mind made up to never go back to your old ways of foolish habits and careless living. They only lead you back down the same ole path reaping the same ole results. And in the end it is spiritual DEATH.

Listen to God as he speaks to your heart, arise and be strong. Walk in the newness of life, free from the bondage of sin and evil. Never offer a half hearted life to Christ. He requires ALL or nothing. When you give Him your ALL, make sure there are no hidden rooms in your heart with "NO TRESPASSING" signs hung on the doors. Begin your life with Him open and honest (He knows it already). Give him a key to every area of your heart. This commitment will help produce a strong desire of "NO TURNING BACK " to the old life of sin and regrets.

You will wake up in a brand new world with a new attitude about life and living. You have been bought with a price greater than the riches of heaven. The rags of sin won't belong to a child of the king. You are royal now and you will be clothed in royalty. Just as the King's daughter is glorious within, so are you (Ps. 45). When you are come into his palace, you will come with gladness and rejoicing because of the favor that God has placed on your new life in HIM. When you know who you are, the son or daughter of the MOST HIGH GOD, your status changes. You walk, talk and live in a brand new world. The old things are passed away. When you love righteousness and hate wickedness, you're anointed with the oil of gladness. You see things through different eyes. Where you once lived in doubt and dread, you now live in faith and trust.

And when Satan comes knocking on your door telling you nothing changed when God forgave you and gave you a new wardrobe (spiritual robe), tell him he came too late. Because you now see him for who he is, the great deceiver. Tell him you have a new Lord and Master, Jesus Christ. Tell him you have been washed by the blood of the lamb and you are no longer a slave to sin.

Be blessed with the Mercy and Love of God...Acts 10:15, "Don't call something unclean if God has made it clean," NLT. You are a new creature! Walk in that newness!

Expect To Encounter God!

Joel 2:15, "Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: 16.Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. 17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?"

God’s instructions were to “blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly.” Joel’s responsibility was to alert the nation of Israel the fact that God wanted to meet with them. However, there were conditions to this meeting. The nation of Israel as a whole must prepare. They must cleanse themselves from all legal impurities by offering sacrifice for all transgressions of the Law. To be obedient was to be purged and made worthy to be presented before the Lord in His house.

My cry is that God would put us in a place of remorse where we can identify with the utter hopelessness and struggle of the present human condition. Just as Israel was to conclude that their situation was utterly hopeless without Divine intervention.

What about the Church, the Body of Christ? Joel's cry was to the elect, the chosen of God, His beloved. We must sound the alarm in Zion. Can we truly feel that we have obeyed God completely when there is such a great need in the Church. A need for our altars to be filled with saint and sinner alike seeking God for divine revelation and divine intervention. Haven't we realized by now that we cannot pilot this ship without Him. We need and must have a fresh wind of Holy Ghost power. We must return to Pentecost and receive anew the anointing power of the Holy Spirit. Then we can become actively engaged in the harvest of eternal souls.

Let us all cry out with the priests of God, "Spare the people, Oh Lord..." Joel's petition was to entreat God to deliver His people, not because they deserved it but for His own glory. Lord restore your reputation in your Church. Let it be said that the Lord of Glory dwells among His people.

God's presence among His people struck fear in the hearts of their enemies. They trembled in fear because they had learned that God secured the victory. They could not win against the Lord God of Israel. When Israel followed God they could not be defeated.

God's presence in the Church strikes fear into the heart of Satan. He trembles in fear in the presence of God. He is well acquainted with the power of almighty God. He knows when the Church follows God, we cannot be defeated. May God manifest Himself in the daily lives of each member of His Body. Through His abiding presence we will throw off the encumbrances that have silently crept in. Throw off the doubt that has slipped in due to a lack of seeing the manifest presence of Christ in the Church. Break the chains of oppression that have gripped us due to the lack of freedom in the Holy Ghost. Throw off the cloud of ignorance that has anesthetized us because of the lack of hearing a fresh Word from the Lord. Wake us O' Lord to the full measure of Your truth. We will not be content with only a similarity or resemblance of truth. We must receive and walk unshackled in Your TRUTH. Baptize us in Your TRUTH! Immerse us in Your whole person. Let us everyone put on the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

God wants to reveal Himself to this lost world. He wants to use His Church in the endeavor. The Church must understand and embrace that God wants to reveal Himself in us and through us. "Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:” Sound the alarm in Zion, the Church. We must prepare for what God has for the Church and what God has for the world through the Church. We must be purged and made worthy to be presented before the Lord in His house. Then we can expect to encounter God there and may the world testify that the Lord of Glory dwells among His people!

From Where I'm Sitting! by Myra Boozer

From where I'm sitting...
Sin and evil are about to explode as a Volcano...
And my world is calm from where I'm sitting...
But the war is raging and lives are torn...
My heart cries out for their deliverance...
Deliverance from calamity, torture and pain...
The days of sorrow, they are multiplying...
As I am calm from where I'm sitting...
I come, I go, I do as I please...
My heart cries out for their deliverance...
Deliverance from calamity, torture and pain...
I live, I love, I long for deliverance...
Sin and evil are about to explode....
It will no longer be calm from where I'm sitting...

Time To Take Action!

17. Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?"

Joel repeated the call of 2:1. The difference here is a call to national repentance to be performed in a national gathering of all the people before God. The priests were to proclaim a day of humiliation for all the people regardless of age or distinction. Joel summons all ranks and classes to assemble in the Temple for this solemn service.

Sanctify the people! The people were to prepare themselves for this solemn time. Under the Law, they were to wash themselves and their clothes. They were commanded to cleanse themselves from all legal impurities, to have offered sacrifice for all transgressions of the Law. To be obedient was to be purged and made worthy to be presented before the Lord in His house.

Assemble the elders, children, babies. No one should be excluded. Even the bride and the bridegroom were to delay their festivities for this solemn assembly. Everything must stop and all attention to focus on the Lord of glory.

The priests, the ministers of the Lord were commanded to take the lead in this sacred work of penitence. They are compelled by the greatness of the national trespass to stand weeping and praying between the porch and the alter. It was here in the open court that the priests, with his face toward the inner court and the alter, that he turned his petition toward God in supplication for the sins of the people.

As I read this text today, I cannot help but think what would happen if God's people would approach God with the same intensity as was required here. Such fervency that would drive us all to our knees in convulsed groans of agony for the needs of the lost and Christ's Church alike. I am reminded of Jesus' encounter with the weight of His destiny as He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane. "And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground." Luke 22:44. Is not our destiny just as relevant? He (Christ) has given us, as the Body of Christ, the urgent task to carry the message of deliverance to all creation. Do we not languish in such a state of national trespass in desperate need of the sacred work of penitence. God help us to fall helplessly into His embrace and become an example and instrument of His salvation and deliverance. God send your fire among us. May the Holy Spirit set us ablaze that we will never be the same. Change us Lord into what you desire us to become. Make us instruments of your salvation. It is time for us to mobilize all our resources into ACTION for the cause of Christ! (continued)

Are We Prepared To Engage The Prince Of Darkness?

1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”

The devil is like a wild animal going about seeking to devour. He is attempting to destroy everything and everyone associated with God. The spirit of Antichrist is becoming stronger as each day passes. The verdict of the world community is the destruction of everything affiliated with Jesus Christ. This is the rise of the last days influence of Satan setting the stage for the beast in the prophecy of Daniel and in the book of Revelation.

This is not a new conflict. The forces of good and evil have been embroiled in battle since Lucifer's original rebellion in heaven. God could not allow him to continue in his angelic role in his rebellious state. Therefore, he was cast out of heaven and became the prince of darkness, ruler of the darkness of this world. Consequently, all humanity has been thrust into the midst of this ageless conflict beginning with original man and affecting every generation since.

The conflict has manifest itself through the centuries with an ebb and flow of severity. However, the consequences of the conflict can be directly related to the rebellion of man against the sovereignty and law of God. Although times of evil and darkness have gripped the earth in centuries past, the grand finale is still to come. Satan is preparing for his last stand. He knows his end and will do everything in his power to destroy all he can. He has targeted world governments, world leaders, Christian leaders, Christian churches, Christian families and individual Christians. His goal is to destroy order and control. He wants to create total chaos.

We find ourselves fully engaged in this timeless struggle. Paul stated in Ephesians 6:12 that we are fighting a warfare in the spiritual realm, against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We are fighting for our very lives, our children, grandchildren, friends, neighbors and as many as our Lord God shall call. But we know how the story ends and that is our hope. God did not allow the Lucifer's rebellion to go unpunished and He will address it again in the end.

The course of human history is directly related to the willingness of mankind to seek after and follow the sovereign will of God. We can make that observation in relation to the current state of our world. In recent years we have seen a digression from Biblical morals and values and a more rapid deviation from Biblical principles in the past decade. This behavior has brought us to where we are as a nation and as a world community. The consequences of rebellion will rule eternity. How we respond to the voice of God will determine our future and the future of all who will hear us. Sound the alarm!!!

The stage is set for Satan's last stand. The spirit of Antichrist is moving all the players into their positions. Demonic powers are running rampant. The world population is following the deception like sheep to the slaughter. Because the nations have rejected the influence of the Gospel and the work of the Holy Spirit, God has left them to their own devices to the destruction of their societal structure.

The alarm should be shouted from every mountain top. God is preparing the whole world for the last phase. The last phase will be the “new world order,” or “one world order.” The spirit of Antichrist is energized by the spirit of darkness. We know from Scripture that Satan’s goal is one world government and one world religion.

Individual liberties are being destroyed and control relegated to the powers that be...governments, local, state, national and international. The stage is set and the players are moving into place. We can not change what is coming, only our response to it. The sin of the world hastens the coming judgment. Let the watchman on the wall cry aloud as the enemy approaches. In doing so he will save himself and all that will hear him.

Are You Hiding In The Locker Room? by Myra Boozer

There was a time when the evidence of what you stood for wasn't as well known as it is becoming today. If you are in doubt of who you are and who you really stand for, I guess you just hide in the locker room. NO THAT WON'T WORK! Remember in not choosing "you choose." You made the decision at that point.

As a Christian, you need to to come out of hiding and give an answer to the world about what you STAND for. They are watching and waiting. Looking for your response!

I have noticed that some like Peter of old don't want to be recognized as "one of them" and some are hiding out. Hoping that God will not see their lack of allegiance to HIM. They are so called "secret Christians" which is an oxymoron. When you become a Christian you're changed and people will know you are changed. If you hide it or camouflage it, then you are ashamed of the Lord. If you are ashamed of Him, He will be ashamed of you. Luke 9:26, “For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory…” I think that hiding your LOVE and RESPECT for GOD among the people you associate with is totally "Denying Christ."

But if you KNOW who you are and you know whom you Love and Respect. You have NO problem coming out of the locker room and standing tall in front of the whole world...no matter the consequences from your associates.

Do you remember what Adam and Eve did AFTER they disobeyed God and followed the leading of the serpent? They hid themselves from God. They broke the spiritual relationship they had with their creator and constant companion...causing themselves much pain and sorrow. They died spiritually! That is much worse than physical death.

Our world is on an hourly downward slope. It will not be as easy as it has been in the past to say "I AM A CHRISTIAN, and I will NOT DISRESPECT MY GOD. I WILL STAND TALL and be counted among CHRISTIANS." You must make some SERIOUS decisions today. You must see the line drawn in the sand. It is time to know who's side you're on. Only two sides, God or Satan! Good or evil! Only two choices. It is really simple and time is counting down to the end.

Time to come out of the locker room if you're hiding? We are either for or against…

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth," Romans 1:16a.

The Light Of Jesus Dispels Darkness! by Myra Boozer

I love the mornings when I open my blinds and the sun comes pouring in. It just makes my day and I rejoice in the warmth of God's love to all mankind. It is not only warm it is beautiful and makes all things beautiful. Sometimes the clutter in my room doesn't look so challenging. This prayer came to me this morning for our world...

Lord may we open the blinds of our heart and allow you to SHINE in our world. Darkness has hovered for a night and the cries for help are getting louder. The lonely, the sick, the forsaken and forgotten cry out against the pit that has them bound. The prisoners held by sin cry out for freedom...Freedom to be forgiven, loved and restored!

Who will open the blinds Lord and reveal the rays of Hope, the Light of Jesus that dispels darkness? Who will ARISE and open the blinds, the shield that covers our windows. Lord we are given opportunity NOW in this season to be that person to allow YOUR LIGHT to come forth. It will come with a sudden burst of great force when we allow your Spirit to direct and strengthen us. I know only the strong will do this. Help us to be STRONG IN THE POWER OF YOUR MIGHT as we ARISE like a Warrior with the Helmet of Salvation, the Shield of Faith, and the Sword of the Spirit.

Help us Lord to equip ourselves with your Armor for the challenge before us..Our world is in great need of your LIGHT, the Light that dispels all darkness. Help us to be your hands reaching the lost and your feet to carry the "GOOD NEWS..." our mouth to speak Your Word which is Truth.... that it will set the captive free, heal the sick and bind up the brokenhearted....Lord help us, your Children to Arise at your command...Amen!
(This was written Jan. 2017 but just as relevant today).

Put On The Armor Of God!

Eph. 6:10, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

As I read this text, I am reminded of a passage in 1 Samuel 17. The armies of Israel were engaged in a conflict with the Philistines. The Philistines had presented a challenge for Israel to face their champion. It was no coincidence that a young Shepard boy by the name of David was present that day. The heart of this young lad was stirred that this infidel would challenge the army of the God of Israel. David went to King Saul and told him that he would face this giant Goliath. Saul insisted that David be dressed in the king’s armor but it did not fit him. And David said, I have not proven the armor. David entered the plain of battle with only what he trusted. He had his sling, five smooth stones and an unshakable faith in his God. David was the victor and Israel was delivered because of his unwavering faith. He was dressed in the armor of God!

We are engaged in a great spiritual war. We are not fighting flesh and blood but against spirits and against the very ruler of the darkness of this world. Eph. 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:”

Many people who once stood for Biblical principles and righteous behavior run when confronting the societal pressures of our day. The most pressing issue today is the doctrine of inclusion which demands that the Church embrace all people, all lifestyles, and all manner of behavior. In so doing they are removing their covering of Holiness, Divine protection, and Divine intervention. They no longer wear the whole armor of God. These so called Christians stand naked before God and in this present spiritual battle. The assets that Jesus gave for the victory of the Body of Christ are no longer available to them. Why? Because they have stripped away their covering, no longer desiring to be identified with Christ's army. They have removed their covering and therefore, they stand powerless in the face of overwhelming darkness.

The more men depend on the carnal man for guidance, the less room there is for the Holy Spirit. Many churches have forced the Spirit of God out of their affairs creating a vacuum that Satan cheerfully fills. Lack of the Spirit means a lack of light. Lack of light means increased darkness.

But not all churches or individuals have given up their role in the Body of Christ. There is a remnant of true believers who are seeking for God's intervention into the affairs of men. God is answering their prayers. God is moving where believers are submissive and obedient. They access and God delivers the “dunamis” of Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” This is the promise!

The army of Christ is rising up. Rising up in the covering of Jesus Christ. That covering being the manifest presence of Christ in the Holy Ghost. If you have received since you believed, you carry the covering of Christ. I feel the urging of the Holy Spirit calling upon the Body of Christ to rise up in the power of that covering and do His work. What is that work? To preach the gospel for the salvation of souls. If we will accept His commission, then we have His promise. The gates of hell cannot prevail against the Body of Christ. Why? Because we are secure in Christ's covering. We are dressed in God’s Armor and filled with His Holy Spirit!

A Call To Arms!

The definition for this phrase is a command to report for active military duty or a summons to engage in active hostilities. It is generally applied to a call to defend or make ready for confrontation. It is understood as a call to arms to defend against attack. In Bible times such a call was usually a trumpet which was a ram’s horn. It was very important that both the trumpeter and the entire army recognize the sound of the trumpet’s call to battle. 1 Cor. 14:8, “For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?” Paul used this analogy in a different context but still supports the principle of this statement. If the call is to result in a significant response to ascertain victory, the sound of the trumpet must be consistent and universal. The sound must be the same every time.

The principle of consistency and universality applies to the teachings of the Word of God. The point being that the Word of God is a Word from God. God never changes! Malachi 3:6, “For I am the LORD, I change not;” God’s Word never changes! It is equally applicable in each generation. James 1:17, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” Every good and perfect gift is from above and comes down from our Father who is the Light of men and in whom there is no variation, inconsistency or shifting shadow. God and His Word are consistent and universal in every generation.

This same principle applies to the Church of God as the Body of Christ. The sound of the trumpet must be the same every time and for all people. To be more specific, the interpretation of the Word of God must be the same every time and to all generations. Holy counsel and guidance must be the same each time and for each person. As an instrument and emissary of our never changing God, the Body of Christ must maintain the standard of Holy Scripture and be consistent and universal in every generation.

Do you ever think seriously about why our world is in the condition that it is in? I have asked myself that question many times over the course of the past few months. This is what I believe has happened. In the study of physics we are taught “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” This is referred to as Newton's third law of motion. There is also a principle called the “principle of causation.” It is defined as the operation or relation of a cause and its effect. I want to use Newton's law of motion to evaluate the cause and effect of the world's present crisis.

When Christian churches all over the world began to let the Truth slip away, it created a void, a vacuum. The noun form of the word “vacuum” is defined by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary as “a situation created when an important person or thing has gone and has not been replaced.” This vacuum was not only created in the churches spiritual structure but also in the lives of individuals. And that void screams out to be filled. Why? Because an important person or thing has gone and has not been replaced. The Person gone is the Holy Spirit and the thing gone is Truth. Satan rushes in to replace Truth and Righteousness with Deception and Sin.

Over a period of time, Satan has gradually slipped into the churches and undermined the power and authority that belongs to the Body of Christ. Many churches and individuals have given in to the pressures of society and embraced unholy alliances with the forces of darkness in our world. The assets that Jesus gave for the victory of the Body of Christ are no longer available to them. They have removed their covering and therefore stand powerless before the enemy.

Jesus said in Matt. 28:18, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Jesus gave His Power to His Church to Finish His Work. And again in Matt. 16:18, “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” The gates of hell can not prevail over the Power of the Kingdom of Heaven. Satan is defeated by the delivering power of Jesus’ blood sacrifice. Through the power of His precious blood, We declare VICTORY as the blood bought Body of Christ.

The Holy Ghost is issuing “A Call To Arms.” It is time for every member of Heaven’s Army to dress for the conflict that is just ahead. We must make ready for confrontation with the darkness of hell! We must prepare to engage the enemy of all things good in his active hostilities against the holiness of God’s Kingdom! He that has ears to hear let him hear the consistent and universal sound of God’s Trumpeter. We cannot miss this Call To Arms! We must be vigilant in our duty as a warrior for Jesus Christ. “Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee,” 1 Tim. 4:16. Signs Of The Times! by Myra Boozer

To me, one of the greatest signs we have in this day concerning the End Times is this...The evil and corrupt spirit that prevails in our world. It is so unified in setting up this new world order. An order without decency, truth and justice. One filled with deceit and hypocrisy. Closer to the end it will be where only those who deny God and His ways will be accepted by this world system.

This system is being fueled by selfish individuals who want nothing to do with Truth or Righteousness. They are all about controlling and promoting what they think is acceptable. They want to make all the calls and say what is offensive to them. They don't want any part of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit or any person who professes Christ.

They don't want to retain God in their minds. So as a Christian, just your existence reminds them of who THEY actually are. They are made aware that God IS, and they will be judged unholy and unrighteous in His sight because of their choices unless they REPENT.

" Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin," Isaiah 30:1.

Jesus wants to be their Savior today. But He will definitely be their Judge one day. I Samuel 15:23, "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry." God have Mercy on this world!

Don't Be Double Minded! by Myra Boozer

James 1:5, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”

There is coming a day when the righteous will be separated from the unrighteous. Many hearts will be saddened because they thought they had accepted Christ. They thought He was with them but to discover they had not actually made room for him. You see, Jesus does not dwell in an unclean heart. He will not live among the unholy or vile. He is holy and when He comes into your life, the unholy has to leave. There is so much more to having an on going relationship with Jesus than just saying a prayer once upon a time.

When we really want God, when we invite Him to come and live in our heart, our desires change. Life becomes about Him and not about us. Our motives change and we want to live to please Him and not ourselves. Our thinking is renewed and our old ways are no longer part of our everyday life. We don’t think about the same things as before and our speech changes. We don’t act the way we used to act or love the things we used to love. We are like a brand new creature. The unclean and the vile things that may have once been a part of our life become repulsive to us. We just don’t want that kind of life anymore. It is like a light bulb comes on and we see clearly that we are on the wrong path, going in the wrong direction, headed for destruction. Then we hear the voice of the Lord calling us to Himself. He so desires to lead and direct us on the path of righteousness, the path that leads to Everlasting Life. We realize the ONLY way to PEACE is through accepting Jesus! The only way to HEAVEN is by following JESUS!

Don't be double minded, claiming God and living in sin. It is a deception, actually a lie from the pits of hell. There are only two choices, heaven or hell, Holy or unholy. I think most of us know the difference. No, we cannot make ourselves holy but we can surrender under the mighty hand of God and allow Him to wash us clean.

One day in the near future we will be so glad we came clean and cast off the sin that desperately has tried to live in our hearts. Asking God to forgive us is just part of the plan. Only you can choose to lay it all down, take up your cross and follow Jesus. No one can do it for you. It takes a real revelation of what is going on in your life. You must see yourselve lost, forever doomed and on your way to a devil’s hell. Then you must see JESUS with his arms stretched wide open and nailed to that cross, for YOU. You must realize that Jesus had a choice to be obedient to His Father, to go to the cross or NOT. No one was making him do what he did! He chose to suffer the agony of the cross and die for YOU, yes YOU! He is calling and He is waiting for you to surrender your life to HIM...no longer lost, no longer guilty, no longer doomed...but cleared of all charges, ACCEPTED and REDEEMED by the precious blood of JESUS...

Are You Experiencing The Power Of God In Your Church?

The darkness is so intense in our world that evil runs rampant. Wickedness is out of control. We know by the Word of God that evil men will grow progressively worse as we draw closer to the end of this age! Paul gives us some insight into the last days of human kind in 2 Tim. 3:10, “But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;”

Opposition to Truth, the Gospel of Jesus Christ will become increasingly more intense as we move forward. As the Body of Christ, we are already experiencing Satanic attacks of greater intensity. It seems as though we are preparing for all hell to break loose. Only God knows what is ahead! However, He has promised to walk with us if we will follow Him to where He is going.

God’s promise to Joshua is relevant for us today and provides a powerful example to those who will follow God to where He is going. Joshua 1:5, “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”

Beginning with verse one of this chapter, we read that Moses had died. God had brought Moses to Mt. Nebo and there He showed him the land of Canaan which He had promised to the children of Israel. Moses died there in the mountain and was buried by God (Deut. 34:5). After Moses’ death, the Lord spake to Joshua. “Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel,” Joshua 1:2. God had created the initiative to bring His people into this land of Canaan where there could worship and follow Him without the intrusion of the customs and religions of other nations. For 40 years they had been on this journey and now it was time to receive their inheritance.

God revealed to Joshua in great detail the magnitude of His promise in verses 4 through 6. However, God also detailed the conditions of His promise. Joshua 1:7, “Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.” God was very clear as to His expectations. The recipients of this promise must be strong and courageous to adhere to the Law of God and neither turn to the right or the left. God had a predetermined plan for the lives of His people. If they would walk according to the Law of God, they would prosper wherever they would go. Joshua 1:8, ”This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

God's promise of victory and protection has always been to the obedient. This is a universal principle first received by the Jews and then the Gentiles. In recent years, through a gradual process of letting the Truth slip away, churches have opened the door for carnal ideals and man-made theology. In a calculated effort to assimilate people into their congregations, compromise has been the rule of the day. The result has been growing the numbers of church participation at the cost of losing God's favor and anointing. Many churches have become powerless and ineffective. Satan has taken advantage of this powerlessness replacing the anointing of the Holy Ghost with a form of godliness. 2Tim. 3:5, “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” Paul declares, “from such turn away.” Run from this spirit of religion!

The Holy Spirit is crying out for an awakening in our churches. It is God’s desire to empower us for the work He has called us to do. We must have Holy Ghost anointing if we are to succeed for Christ in the days ahead. A mediocre or lukewarm relationship with the Lord will not bring victory in our lives. We must cast off everything that has even a hint of the flesh. We will be all in or we will be OUT.

God’s promise is to the obedient! Joshua 1:9, “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” Follow God to where He is going and you WILL experience His POWER in your life and church.

Your Love Lord! by Myra Boozer

YOUR LOVE LORD...
Is so high my mind can't reach it...
My thoughts can't think it...
My heart can't conceive it...
And my words can't express it...
YOUR LOVE LORD...
Is like the ocean, it covers more than I can see...
Like the sky, it keeps on going...
Like the rivers, it keeps on flowing...
Like the trees, it keeps on reaching...
And the flowers, it keeps on growing...
YOUR LOVE LORD...
It finds me where I am...
It hovers over me like a light...
It forces me to smile even in the saddest times...
It lifts me above the sorrows...
And gives me hope for tomorrow...
Your Love Lord... is all I need...

Seek God! He Will Find You!

Jeremiah 29:10, “For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. 11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. 14And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.”

This chapter describes a letter that Jeremiah is writing to all the captives that had been taken to Babylon by King Nebuchadnezzar. God is instructing the captives through Jeremiah and rendering judgment upon those who had failed to heed His warnings. The nation was displaced because of their disobedience and Jeremiah is warning them by the Word of God not to be deceived by their own false prophets living among them. Jer. 29:8, “For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. 9For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD.”

In the years just previous to their captivity, God had warned His people through His prophets that judgment was coming if they would not hear the Word of the Lord. Jeremiah was not slack in conveying God’s Word to His people. But, the religious leaders and the people raised up their own prophets who delivered a message of prosperity and deliverance right up until the enemy came bursting through the gates of their city. This apostasy continued and followed them into captivity. God would deal with the rebellious! They would be scattered to the four corners of the earth.

But, God instructed “all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon” (v4) to live their lives in peace and increase their numbers. “For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place,” Jer. 29:10. Jeremiah had already prophesied the duration of the captivity in Jer. 25:12, “And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.” In seventy years they would return to Jerusalem and rebuild the city, city walls and temple. However, they must not listen to the false prophets among them. They must heed the Word of the Lord! Jer. 29:13,”And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. 14And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.”

God has “good” planned for all who will answer His call to discipleship. He has a promised (secured) end or divine heritage. We need not question our finish if only we will listen to the voice of God. Oh, to call upon God, to seek His face and hear and see His answer. He promises to hear and respond (hearken). Our challenge is to clearly perceive His response.

...ye shall seek me, and find me...” God is always available. He is always with us. But we must have a sense of His presence to recognize His voice and to understand what he is doing or planning to do. God's promise is that we will find Him when we search for Him with all our heart. The human condition requires the intervention of our creator. We always stand in need of God's assistance. The question is, “Do we really want his help?” Are we willing to relinquish control of our lives to Him. He knows the way I take (the path I should follow) and will direct my steps accordingly. God has a plan for us. A plan for good and not evil. He has an expected (secured) finish for His people. LORD, I SEARCH FOR YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!

Grace And Mercy Are Waiting For You! by Myra Boozer

Daily we are getting reports of people leaving this world and going to their final destination. So much death, from little babies to the elderly. Ready or Not we will leave this world either by death or the Rapture. The big question is, “Are you ready to meet God?” Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus? Have you asked God to forgive you of your sins?

God has a great plan for your life here but if you seem to have missed it somehow, there is still Grace and Mercy waiting for you to accept them. Forgiveness is still available for the asking. I know that sounds way too simple but God made it simple. Truth and Love have been waiting for you to open the door for them to come and invade your life like you cannot imagine. The power of the Holy Spirit wants to lift you above all the mundane living. He wants to set you on a path of Holy living where the river of live flows freely for all who want to drink fresh, living waters...where you will never thirst again!!

If you are weighted down by a load of sin and regrets, it can be lifted by the prayer of repentance. You can be lifted by the wings of mercy to live in a realm of peace and joy. Yes, even in this life! There is Abundant Living for all who will surrender, give it up, let it go and find what God has designed especially for you. NO, it will not always be a bed of roses. It will be hard, almost unbearable at times. But the road (this life) is so much easier to travel when Jesus is your personal guide and the responsibility to fix everything is not upon your shoulders. You will find that He is a constant help in time of need, always listening to your hearts cry and willing to carry you when you can't go on. He is never far from you and longs to be your dearest friend. He can give hope where there is none because of who He is. Seek Him while He may still be found…

Isaiah 55:6, “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:”

The Soul Cries Out For Freedom!

Hebrews 12:1, “...let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” The soul cries out for freedom, freedom from sin’s influence and sin’s wages. The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life. Disobedience is sin and sin is a weight that paralyses our attempts to be right and live right.

We need to identify our struggles in life and decide that we will not entertain the influences of sin. And neither can any person if he or she wants to truly be free. Sin is a weight. It’s destructive power is like a malignant cancer with it’s invasive tentacles reaching into every fiber of the human body. The cancer must be identified and eradicated. It is the work of the Holy Ghost to identify the sin.

It is the work of the same Holy Ghost to destroy the power of sin. He does this when we repent and walk the light of the Word. He does this because of the power of the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ. Accept the saving grace of Christ and don’t look back. By faith in the finished work of the blood of Jesus, tell Satan that he has no hold in your life. Tell him he can no longer exert his influence in your life. You need to decide that he is not welcome and he needs to feel the indignation of the Holy Spirit’s disapproval.

Submit yourself completely to the leadership of God, resist Satan’s influence and he will flee from you. James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.” In the preceding verses, James addresses the pride that exists in the fleshly heart. God will not receive our proud boasting but if we will humble ourselves He will give us His grace. Humble yourself before God and He will lift you above your storm and you will experience the freedom your souls cries out for!

God's Standard? The Word Of God!

The first step in this process from Truth to confusion is a failure to embrace the work of the Holy Spirit. We must be able to recognize His presence and submit to His leadership if we are to walk in His Truth! (See: A Departure From Truth Results In Confusion). The second step in the process from Truth to confusion is a failure to follow Truth. As a child of God we must seek for revelation of Truth and walk in that Truth without reservation. (See: A Departure From Truth Results In Confusion, part 2). The third step in the process from Truth to confusion is the failure to accurately discern the origin and author of Truth. God is the origin and author of Truth. What we need is a relationship with God in which we can lay aside our beliefs and allow Him to teach us His Truth. (See: The Origin Of Truth).

The last step in this process from Truth to confusion is the failure of churches to provide a Biblical standard through proper interpretation of the Word of God. One function of the Church has been and will continue to be to accurately interpret the Holy Scriptures. We can not afford to misinterpret God’s Message. Proverbs 11:14, “Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellers there is safety.” Accurate interpretation of Scripture is critical to the mission of the Church and the salvation of the lost.

God has always had and will always have His Standard. That Standard is the Word of God, the Holy Scriptures. Isaiah referred to it as a plume line. Isaiah 28:17, “Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.” Judgment was coming to the house of Israel and the only thing that could save them was to repent and return to following God.

The leaders of Israel did not want to hear this message from God consequently they mocked and degraded the messenger. They were infuriated that Isaiah would lecture them as little children. They viewed themselves far superior to Isaiah and mocked his attempt to enlighten them. Is. 28:9, “Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:” Through the Prophet, God chided these leaders of the nation of Israel saying they should be mature men willing to accept the Word of the Lord. His Word which is precept upon precept and line upon line. This text indicates the invariableness of a Holy God. He does not deviate from His Standard regardless of who we are. The only redemption that we have is through His Mercy by way of repentance and returning to walk by His Standard.

Israel had made a covenant with Egypt in an attempt to avoid captivity by the Assyrians. God called this covenant “a covenant with death and with hell,” a sure sign of their eventual defeat and captivity, v15.

In His Words given to Isaiah, God uses the example of constructing a building. He references the foundation stone, tried, true and sure. The Word of the Lord cautions not to proceed hastily but to be submissive and get it right. A true and secure foundation is critical for the construction of a durable structure. In v 17, the Word of the Lord indicates that He will apply His Standard regarding the judgment and righteousness of Israel. Because they did not receive God’s correction they were carried away into captivity by the Assyrians and scattered to the four corners of the world. Israel was held accountable to God’s Standard.

Today, we stand at the door of a grand endeavor. That is to prepare for the appearing of the Son of God, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. Our challenge is to make ready the bride to be united with the bridegroom. She must remain chaste, pure, undefiled and without spot or wrinkle. The external forces in our world are pressing in upon the boundaries of holiness and righteousness which are so firmly established in God's Holy Word. The ideals of a carnal theology have infiltrated the pulpit and weakened the faith that was once delivered to the saints. Jude 1:3, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” Jude wrote to identify the apostasy that had crept into the Church in his day and to warn future generations to guard against false doctrine.

Sin and apostasy must be identified and addressed in the Church. The Bride of Christ will be presented to Him without spot. Another role of the Holy Spirit is to illuminate the darkness and remove the covering for sin. The Word of Truth illuminated by the Spirit of Truth will set the souls of men free to walk in the liberty which only God can give. The Church of God must preach the Word of God and hold the Children of God accountable to the Standard of God! Amen

No Room For Satan! by Myra Boozer

As the Communist atheists allowed no place for JESUS in their hearts, I decided I would leave NOT the smallest place for Satan in mine”...by Founders of the Voice of the Martyrs. We must be on guard what we allow in our hearts and our thoughts. Stay full of God and the Holy Spirit then there is no room for Satan.

The Spirit will warn us when Satan is knocking on our door wanting to come in through the media or through unforgiveness, idolatry, pride and unbelief, to name a few. There are so many ways he will try to enter our minds and take up residence in our hearts. Don't answer when he comes knocking. If you do answer, make sure you answer with the Word of God. Luke 4:8, "Get thee behind me Satan for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." We live in a world filled with sin and corruption everywhere we look and we must stay away from it. We cannot partake of sin and remain pure, holy and Godly.

A well known evangelist said that after receiving Christ in his life, some of his past friends came by wanting him to do drugs with them. He thought about it and said, I would have to lay down what God has done for me. He washed me clean I can't go back to my old life. Thankfully he would not consider giving up his "New Life" in Christ for the pleasure of sin. The sin had almost killed him. He was used by God to win many souls during the Pensacola Brownsville Revival.

Remember we are in training for the Lord's Army. When we fall down, we get back up. Never give up on God! Keep striving for the finish. Philippians 4:13,"I CAN do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." With the help of our Lord we will remain faithful to Him and the calling He has on our life. So grateful He continues to pursue me and confronts me about my life through His Word. Psalm 119:105,"Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." Guard your heart and thoughts so they are filled with God...leaving no room for Satan in your life!

Lord, Speak To Your Sheep!

John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” God has not concluded the revelation of His TRUTH. He is still speaking to submissive hearts and open minds. There is much that He desires to reveal to the Body of Christ, the Church of Christ. We need desperately to experience His revelation in us and through us. How does He want to implement His will in the Body and through the individual members? His plan in us will always have the greater good of the Body in focus. When we, the Body, actively seek and follow His directions, Christ is exalted, His work in the Body is confirmed and members in the Body are vindicated. May God empower us to be actively engaged in His plan and purpose, NOW, TODAY and EVERYDAY till we see His glorious return.

John 10:28, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one.” Let us purpose here and now to submit ourselves new and afresh to God's master plan. Not only for our own salvation and victory but also for the divine will and purpose of God in the earth. Allow Him to place us in the body where it pleases Him and fits His purpose. For that grand venture, we will require the assistance of the Holy Spirit.

Who Will Listen? by Myra Boozer

Who will listen to the still small voice when He speaks. It won't be the excitable, giddy one who is inflated with self-conceit. Being bound up in pride with an arrogant spirit leaves no room for listening.

It won't be the one who can't be reasoned with because they are stubborn and stuck without understanding, unable to concede.

It won't be the fearful for it takes courage to receive instruction.

It won't be someone who doesn't welcome change for God is an advocate for change in its most deliberate form.

It won't be someone who refuses to forgive, for the speaker is the Father of Forgiveness and He requires it.

It won't be someone who ignores the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is the very unction to hear the still small voice.

It won't be someone who doesn't understand trust, because God is all about our leaning on Him.

So Who Will Listen? I think it is the one who is DESPERATE...The one calling out to God for HELP in their Brokenness, the DESTITUTE person who has forsaken all to find God. All else has failed and they are searching for answers from someone higher than themselves. If that is YOU, there is HOPE! God will speak to your HEART when you listen with your HEART...

The Origin Of Truth!

(See A Departure From Truth Results In Confusion, part 2).

The third step in the process from Truth to confusion is the failure to accurately discern the origin and author of Truth. We will not discover God’s Truth through an academic or scholarly study of Scripture. There is an abundance of research tools and information available to the avid student of the Bible. But even with the best research and commentary we will come away lacking the epiphany we so desperately desired. It is impossible for the carnal mind to comprehend the mind of God unless we have a Divine encounter with God in the process.

Truth comes in its entirety from the throne of God. It cannot be a mixture of Spirit and flesh but must be 100% God. Any deviation is a mixture of heaven and earth and will result in a dilution of the heavenly message. The Truth is born of God and has to be born of the God in us. Paul said,”Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Phil. 2:5. We must be born again of the Spirit of God if we are to accurately discern the origin and author of Truth!

God is Truth! Jesus is Truth and we know the Father through the Son. John 14:6, “Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. 7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him." Jesus was the incarnation of God and as such the manifest character of God. God does not change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. And in God is no variableness. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” James 1:17. The principles of God are the same in every generation.

God’s Truth is constant in every generation. However our understanding of the Truth continues to change. The Truth does not change! Our understanding of Truth will continue to evolve. Therefore our understanding Truth is dependent upon our growing unto Christ. Eph. 2:20, “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Our concept of Truth will continue to change as we move progressively toward Him in the complete revelation of who He is. The Truth doesn't change, only our understanding of Truth.

As a child of God, we want to believe that what we know and understand about God and His Kingdom is Truth. However, in an effort to convince others that what we believe is Truth, we fall into Satan's trap and become emissaries of a carnal doctrine cultivated by the flesh. A man delivers the message but God gives the revelation and will validate His message. Since we cannot understand God with the carnal mind, we must rely upon revelation and validation by the Holy Spirit. Then, we believe it is Truth because God has brought us into the revelation of Truth.

God is the origin and author of Truth. Our understanding will continue to evolve as we grow in God but the Truth remains constant forever. What we need is a relationship with God in which we can lay aside our beliefs and allow Him to teach us His Truth. The central issue is not our perception of what is right or wrong but our unquestionable obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit. God will confirm His Truth in the lives of His people. Treasures Of The Heart! by Myra Boozer

Proverbs 2:1, “My son, (or Daughter) if you will receive my words and treasure my commandments within you, 2 Make your ear attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding; 3 For if you cry for discernment, lift your voice for understanding; 4 If you seek her as silver and search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will discern the fear of the LORD and discover the knowledge of God.” NASB

The things that I love and hold dear to my heart are just borrowed they're not mine at all... Jesus only let me use them to brighten my life...So remind me, remind me dear Lord. The words of an old song hold true today. I have loved and held many things close to my heart for I have had so many blessings and material goods. No, I am not wealthy compared to some. But compared to others, I am. I have had my share of the comforts of life...not extravagant things but enjoyable things...some have been very useful and some just pretty to look at and some just plain and simple little treasures...but things are just that...they are “Things.” Things can be replaced if lost or stolen. They are disposable and transferable, they are things.

Sometimes things get in the way of what is important. They can become too meaningful and take our time and energy away from what really counts. I am learning to lay them down. Day by day they are losing their value to me. I have been letting them go from my heart for some time now because I will not take them with me. They have served their purpose thus far and I am very thankful for all I have been given to enjoy along the way.

I have always tried to keep my head straight as for how I spend our money. I have tried to be very saving and practical...you know the bargain hunter kind of person. But even at a bargain the “things” you have can become a part of you. You become familiar with them and they sometimes become “treasures.” They may not be worth much to anyone else but you. They are special to you. Well, I have had lots of those special things hidden away in old hat boxes or the dresser drawers and in closets...even under the beds. Things I have saved from our only little boy...baby clothes...little cars and things he saved thru the years...things that make you smile, like a costume I made him for his 1st grade play...pictures he drew of his house, family and the neighbors dog. The dog stayed at our house because he loved it so much. You know “treasures” that I don’t plan on throwing out...but my heart is letting go.

I think I understand what the purpose is for letting go. It isn’t wrong to have things but it is wrong for things to have us. When what we have and what we do is all about things...and we just want to live on and on so we can secure and protect our treasures...we need to release them. There are no U-hauls going to heaven. I don’t want the tears that are wiped away from my eyes to be about the “things” I have accumulated. I want to leave all that behind.

1 John 2:15, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world...” I am letting go! The greatest treasures I have are My precious Family, My Relationship with the Lord and My Understanding of His Word. I celebrate the fact that He died, that I might live and that has nothing to do with “things.” That is my greatest treasure!! And, that my friend, I must hold on too for ever and NEVER LET GO. “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Matt. 6:21
