Be Strong In The Lord, In The Power Of His Might! by Myra Boozer

(Note: this was written in 2018 and is just as relevant for today!)

It is just so amazing to me what I have on my mind when I awake most mornings. Some thoughts stay with me all day long. Saturday morning I was thinking of Corrie Ten Boom and what a spiritual hero she is to me. I thought of her sufferings and her great faith. I thought how strong she was and could I ever be that strong in the face of severe persecution (which we may face in the near future, as Christians).

As I went to the kitchen, Bill was asking if I wanted to get out of the house and go to "Yard Sales." This used to be a big part of my life. Not so much anymore. I have more than enough stuff already. Well, we went and very quickly I found a book that I had to have. The only one that interested me. It is Life Lessons from Corrie Ten Boom. The Lord set me up for that one.

As I was reading from the "Exclusive 3-in-1 Edition," of course being of my nature, I did not start at the front of the book. I opened it about three-fourths of the way into it. Excerpts from the book, “It was a week after Betsie had died in Ravensbruck that I took my place in the ranks of women prisoners standing together in the icy cold of the early morning. ‘66730!’ That is my number, I said weakly as we took our place for roll call. ‘Ten Boom, Cornelia.’ That is my name. I thought how strange that they would call me by name when they always addressed us by number! ‘Come forward.’ We were falling in line for the roll call. Ten in a line, every hundredth woman, one step forward. My friends looked at me sadly. What does it mean? I asked inwardly. Punishment...freedom...the gas chamber...sent to another concentration camp?”

The rest is in my words. A young German girl shouted number 66730. Corrie stepped forward and was told where to stand. She was sent to the far right, away from the crowd where now she could feel the bitterly cold wind whipping through her ragged prison dress. Another girl, young and frightened was sent to stand beside her. Roll call took 3 hours and they were almost frozen. Corrie asked through chattering teeth, "Why must I stand here?" The girl’s answer was barely audible as it came from her blue lips. "Death sentence."

Corrie turned to the Lord, "Perhaps I'll see You soon face to face like Betsie does now Lord. Let it not be too cruel a killing. Not gas Lord, nor hanging. I prefer shooting. It is so quick. You see something, you hear something and it is finished." Then as she looked at the girl, Corrie said, "Lord, this is perhaps the last chance I will have to bring someone to you before I arrive in heaven. Use me Lord. Give me all the love and wisdom I need. She then asked the girl her name. She said Tiny, and she had been there for 2 years. Corrie asked her, “did you ever read the Bible?” Her answer was no, she did not. Corrie asked, "do you believe God exists?” She said she did and wished she knew more about him and asked Corrie if she knew Him? Corrie began to tell her. "Jesus is always with us" and about the miracle he did in taking all her hatred and bitterness for her enemies. Jesus is willing to bring into our hearts God's love through His Holy Spirit. Corrie said it was a miracle that she had a chance to explain many things about Jesus. "The prisoners behind us listened too. I felt happy. Perhaps this was my last chance in life, but what joy!" She accepted Jesus and Corrie told her, you now have a friend who never leaves you alone. (continued)

Are We Prepared To Engage The Prince Of Darkness?

1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”

Satan is the prince of darkness! He is like a wild animal rushing around seeking to destroy all that he can. His time is short and he is frantic to destroy everything associated with God. The spirit of Antichrist is becoming stronger as each day passes. This is the rise of the last day's influence of Satan setting the stage for the beast in the prophecy of Daniel and the prophecy of John in the book of Revelation.

These forces of light and darkness have been embroiled in battle since Lucifer's original rebellion in heaven. God could not allow him to continue in his angelic role in his rebellious state. Therefore, he was cast out of heaven and became the prince of darkness, ruler of the darkness of this world.

The consequences of the conflict can be directly related to rebellion, the rebellion of Lucifer, and of man against the sovereignty and law of God. Although times of evil and darkness have gripped the earth in centuries past, the grand finale is still to come. Satan is preparing for his last stand. He knows his end and will do everything in his power to destroy all he can. He has targeted every level of order in the world. His goal is to destroy order and control to create total chaos.

We are fully engaged in this timeless struggle. Paul stated in Ephesians 6:12 that we are fighting a war in the spiritual realm, against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We are fighting for our very lives, our children, grandchildren, friends, neighbors and as many as our Lord God shall call. But we know how the story ends and that is our hope. God did not allow Lucifer's rebellion to go unpunished and He will address it again in the end. (continued)

Unwise To Justify The Wicked! Conclusion by Myra Boozer

When we declare the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ as being "Our Lord" that means He is Lord over everything, every thought, every decision, and every relationship. It means what God does not condone, we can't either. We have a great responsibility to others to speak Truth and live Truth. We are responsible to train our children and stand against all evil that is being thrown at them through our culture. It is not for us to allow the world and ungodly people to dictate to them what Truth is or what is acceptable. We cannot tell them it is okay to live like the world and participate in every ungodly activity that society has conceived. We cannot allow them to be seduced by the perversion of evil people who are only concerned about their evil ideas. When we become politically correct and tolerate the sickened agenda that "Hollywood " is portraying even to little children, we have fallen short of the mandate that God set for those who call Him Lord. Little minds and little hearts are being so abused by society thru the media. We may wonder when this will stop? Will we ever be normal again? I don't think so, only worse because too many have been tolerant of immodest fashion, disorderly conduct, and even attitudes of "however I want to live is okay because society accepts it."

Many have failed to teach that wrong exists, that bad exists, and that unacceptable exists. We must tell them we are not to justify and condone every lifestyle. Many Christian leaders are not addressing the problems that are facing this generation, because tolerance has slipped into many churches. Many Christians want to be accepted and listened too so they walk on eggshells and speak the acceptable message that makes people feel good instead of telling them the Truth. We must not remain silent, fearing isolation and rejection by society and even some churches because we do not justify (free from blame or guilt) those who do wickedly. "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death," Proverbs 14:12 KJV.

Jesus Christ is our hope! He is the remedy for all sin. He leads and guides us day by day when we live by His Word. Oh, His Grace is sufficient to hold us and to heal our broken hearts when those we love are more influenced by the world than they are by us. We must never give up! We must keep praying and proclaiming the Word of God for it is life unto salvation.

"But ye beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some having compassion, making a difference: and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To the only WISE God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen," the book of Jude vs 20-25. This scripture is powerful and covers what we need to do.

God Will Judge Sin! Conclusion

The leadership of this nation followed the example of ancient Israel in response to the attacks on the World Trade Center, Sept. 11, 2001. Senator Tom Daschle stood on the floor of the US. Senate building the next day, Sept. 12. He gave the following response to this devastating attack. “There is a passage in the Bible from Isaiah that speaks to all of us in times like this. Isaiah 9:10, 'The bricks are fallen down, but we will rebuild them with smooth stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars,' That is what we will do. We will rebuild and recover. The people of America will stand together because the people of America have always stood together, and those of us who are privileged to serve this great nation will stand with you. God bless the people of America.”

This passage of scripture was repeatedly used in the following months in an attempt to instill hope and inspiration. But apparently, there was no national approach to repentance. Look at where we are today! As a nation, we are more divided than ever before in our lifetime. Law and order in our world appear to be dissolving right before our eyes. (Just watch the evening news). Justice and mercy are thrown in the streets like so much refuse. Micah 6:8, “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” God has revealed His Truth and will continue to reveal Himself to all who will receive. The choice is ours but we must repent and return to the Lord God Jehovah.

When the seeds of disobedience are sown they will bring forth fruit in due season. But in the midst of our rebellion, God has saved us for His name's sake. You may feel trapped where you are and may not be where you want to be. Jesus will set you free from whatever holds you fast. Call out to Him. He will deliver today!

Lord God Almighty, we want to follow your direction. Help us to always hear your voice clearly. Shut out the extraneous noise that so overwhelms the thought process that we get lost in the fight. Help us to focus on the important and allow the useless to fall away. Sweep the irrelevant away and deposit it far from us. We want no interference! We want to focus on YOU alone. Blessed be the Name of the Lord! (The Message: A Critical Review Of End Time Events, p 36-37, available at Amazon.com)

Unwise To Justify The Wicked! Part 2 by Myra Boozer

There is a strong attitude that seems to prevail in our world today. If you love me, you will condone my lifestyle. You must accept me the way I have chosen to live and if you don't, I just might do something that you will regret. This is such a horrible attitude. It originates in the pit of Hell and came from Satan himself.

We are living in a time of great confusion and deception. Many are falling for the lie and deception that however they want to live is acceptable and should be celebrated by all the world. God’s Word declares that to be wrong! We have been given the rules for our lives in the Word of God. God is our creator and our sustainer, the one who gives us the breath we breathe. He also holds the keys to life and death and no man can change that! He is God and what He says is the way it is without argument.

Mark 12:29, “And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."

There is only One God and He is the one we should love, honor, and respect. He has given us the guidelines and boundaries for our lives. When we go against God’s standard, we are asking for trouble. God is patient but His Word declares what we sow we will reap! Yes, we are to love our neighbor as ourselves. But, not to the degree that we would justify sin or disobedience to God's Word. Loving another person does not mean that you are to accept and justify their ways. It means when you really love them you will tell them the truth and stand against sin and ungodly living.

Proverbs 30:11, “There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother. 12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. 13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up. 14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men." (continued)

God Will Judge Sin! Part 2

Judgment doesn't suddenly come upon a people or person without warning. In the old Testament, when God's people strayed from His leadership, God always sent His Prophet to warn them of the consequences and give an opportunity for correction and change. A good example of this is found in Isaiah 9:10, “The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.” Isaiah had prophesied the imminent judgment upon the northern tribes of Israel specifically addressing the tribe of Ephraim and the city of Samaria. Isaiah 9:9, “And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart,...” The people's response was that they would build back bigger and better. The chosen materials would be hewn stones and cedars which were used for the palaces of the kings. The brick and sycamores were for the common people. That spirit that rises up is the spirit of carnal flesh that must be crucified. The correct response would have been to repent and return to God.

God uses the same principle today to correct His children. He will warn us and give us the opportunity to make the necessary corrections. He will show us where we missed the mark. In the midst of our situation, we need to trace it back to a failure on our part, a place in our journey where we made a wrong choice, where we took the wrong path. Then we are presented with the choice to repent and return to Him or suffer the consequences for our disobedience.

God is good and His mercy endures forever to bring salvation to all who will obey. Psalm 106:1, “Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever 2Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise? 3Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times. 4Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;” God's desire is for the world to observe how He loves those that will come into a loving, obedient relationship with Him, v5, “That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.” Even in our blatant rebellion, His heart yearns for communion with us. We have not fully understood God's plan for us, if we did we would not pull back, v6, “We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly. 7Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea. 8Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.” God stands ready to forgive all that will repent and return to Him. Unwise To Justify The Wicked! by Myra Boozer

"He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord," Proverbs 17:15.

It seems that sin is being accepted more than ever. Many are no longer ashamed of their error, their mistakes, or their sin. When this happens, many feel justified and they stay on the same path of destruction. They are telling themselves, "I have done no wickedness" especially when they aren't held accountable for their wrongdoings by those around them.

The Lord God is not pleased with those who JUSTIFY the wicked nor those that condemn the righteous. In this verse, they are put in the same category. They are both called an abomination. That word means to hate, to loathe. Yet, people want to say God is not angry with me! I believe this scripture proves that statement to be wrong. "But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and FIERY INDIGNATION, which shall devour the adversaries," Hebrews 10:27. Adversaries are the enemies of God. He is definitely angry with SIN. "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God," Hebrews 10:31.

Who is speaking against sin? Who is giving the warning? Where is the fear of the Lord? Who is lifting up the standard of righteousness? Who is standing in the Gap? Who is proclaiming the year of the Lord? Who is speaking TRUTH to this perverse generation? Who is declaring the WORD of the Lord in the face of the wicked? "He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him: But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them." Proverbs 24:24-25

I believe God is merciful, gracious, and so patient with mankind. He loves YOU! However, He does not condone SIN! He loves you more than that. He loves you so much that He will send His Holy Spirit to convict you of your error, your mistakes, your willful sin. It doesn't matter who justifies you, friends or family. When God says it is sin, it is sin and it will separate you from God.

Hebrews 12:5-6, "My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth." The scripture goes on to say If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons. But if you be without chastening then you are not sons. It is your choice to receive correction or not. Ask God to send the Holy Spirit to convict and convince you of the sin that has beset you. The sin that maybe is accepted and even celebrated by the world. Only God is the true judge of all sin. "Let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire," Hebrews 12; 28b-29. (continued)

God Will Judge Sin!

Evil and sin have come upon us like a mighty hurricane, moving slowly and methodically destroying everything in its path. Destruction howls like the wind, undermining the very foundation of all that we admire and trust. Evil lurches out of the darkness devouring the cohesiveness of love, trust, and communication creating walls of isolation, unbelief, and contempt. The darkness has hidden the principles upon which our very existence is founded. Evil strikes at the heart of the governing bodies of our societies and has infected every level of governance reaching even to “spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph. 6:12

The guiding principles of our forefathers are strategic and indispensable elements to the continued survival of this nation as we have known it. This nation was established as a democratic republic with governance by the people and for the people. The ideals of love of God and country have sustained us in all our conflicts throughout our history. If we allow the principles of personal freedom and liberty to be diluted and discarded, we will pay the price in defeat and ruin!

We are setting the standard for the next generation. What we teach in our homes, churches, schools, and universities will establish the mindset for succeeding generations. We cannot allow the name of God and Jesus to be demeaned and degraded. We must hold to the standard that God has given for us. A people that reject God will be given over to their own devices and suffer the consequences. We must follow God!

The structure of the family has disintegrated because we have not followed God. The health of our churches has diminished and some have even expired because we have not followed God. Every institution, every governing body at every level has depreciated in value and relevance because we have not followed God.

Is that what we want as a nation? Do we want to be abandoned by our Creator and go it all alone? I think not. So then, what are we to do? Moral fortitude and intellectual rhetoric can not address the plague of sin that has consumed mankind. The answers cannot be legislated, addressed by executive order, or by a ruling by the highest court in the land. None of these actions can put us back on course as the human race.

I hear the Holy Spirit saying, “you can't think your way out of this. You can't buy or spend your way out. You can't bargain, barter, or compromise.” We must return to the TRUTH or go down with the sinking ship. We can carry on our religious events void of the inspiration and revelation of God or we can repent and allow God to forgive our sin and heal our land. The choice is ours as an individual, as a nation, and as the entire world. (continued) The Message: A Critical Review Of End Time Events, p 33-34, available at Amazon.com.

May We Remember! by Myra Boozer

JESUS is your Rock when everything begins to sink all around you.

HE is Your Bread when your pantry is empty.

HE is Your Home when you are evicted.

HE is Your Payment for a debt you cannot pay.

HE is Your Friend when all others forsake you.

HE is Your Light when darkness tries to hover over you.

He is Your Coach when you feel defeat has overcome you.

HE is Your Weapon when the enemy strikes.

HE is Your Joy in the time of great battle.

HE is Your Escape when the lions are hungry.

HE is Your Covering when all is stripped away.

HE is Your Passport when the time comes to leave.

HE is Your Key to the riches of Heaven.

"He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion," Psalm 111:4.

Oh, how quickly we can all forget just what Jesus really means to us. When the storm has passed and the sun begins to shine...May We REMEMBER the works of His Hands...this is our time to remember and be thankful...today and always...

A Prayer Of Thanksgiving!

Psalm 121:1, "...I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore."

Lord Jesus, thank you for allowing us to share in the glory of your presence. The freedom, the peace, and the absolute marvelous deliverance is a testimony of your desire to reveal yourself to your people. It is good to dwell together in unity as one in you and through you.

Thank you Lord for bringing us into the outer court (the court of praise), into the inner court (the court of ministry) and the Holy of Holies. It is in the Holy Place we come face to face with YOU and experience your person as Almighty God, Lord God Jehovah, our Creator, our constant Support and Shield, our Deliverer, our Counselor, our Redeemer, our Savior, our Lord, and our God. It is there that we receive access to all we need and require for this present journey. Lord, your strength is our present help in time of need. The shield of YOUR covenant is our defense from the tormenting darts of the enemy. Truly, You are the source of our victory.

Thank you Lord for giving us YOUR WORD that is spiritually embraced and conscientiously invested. Lord Jesus, help us to let go of all things around us and every substance within us that would impede our success in YOUR cause. We do here and now accept YOUR promise of an expected end by faith. We fall helplessly into your embrace and look to you for the strength and grace to complete YOUR assignment. We open our hearts, minds, and souls to YOU and without reservation do purpose to receive all that you desire to invest in us. Prepare us O Lord and fill us full of YOU! Amen

Put Jesus First! by Myra Boozer

We are told in the Word..."But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things will be added unto you," Matthew 6:33. You know "all these things" that we all pursue on a regular basis, jobs, so we can pay our bills, buy food, have shelter, and wear clothes. We all desire clean, organized homes with a great meal prepared for the family in the evening. Not to forget the beautiful lawn with flowers and a nice clean car to drive. Then there is entertainment and of course relaxation because we are exhausted by the end of the day. These things are not wrong but they can lead us on a collision course if we are not careful. We usually come to a quick STOP and then we cry out, "Lord, where are You? Come and come quickly because we are in great need of YOU. Yes Lord we need YOU, not tomorrow but right now.”

I have heard people say, "God has GOT to do something" and do it quickly. But remember He is giving us the formula in Matthew 6:33. Even with following the formula, bad things can still happen to anyone but during those times we KNOW He is "working all things for our good" because we are His. We have not forgotten "that no weapon formed against us shall prosper." We hold to every promise in the book because they belong to us as God's Children.

I saw a post with someone speaking about giving ourselves an option. When you set your clock you can set it with the snooze control which gives you an option to either get up or lay there until the next alarm goes off. He said the Lord spoke to his heart and said, "as long as you have an option you will use it." But with God, we don't need to think we have an option. It must be Jesus first and foremost in our lives. Our desire must be to Seek Him First. The other things will come.

There are many times during the day to talk to the Lord. As you desire HIM, You will find ways to talk to him and about him. Carry a worshipful attitude in your heart all day long. I remember a dear saint telling me, "to pray without ceasing is to pray while you work." I want to be up and about my Father's business and I sure don't want to be snoozing when the trumpet sounds! Put Jesus First!

Lost Souls, Lost For Eternity!

I hear and fully embrace the call in the Church to reach the lost with the Gospel. As I spend time in prayer and meditation, this responsibility weighs heavy upon my heart. Time is short and what we are going to do for God, we must do it quickly. I hear the Holy Spirit saying, “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest,” John 4:35. I hear Him say, “don’t postpone the harvest, the harvest is ready.”

I am hearing the message of Jesus’ soon coming more each day and I believe that is the inspiration of God allowing us to know that time is short. We cannot delay in fulfilling Christ’s commission to preach the Gospel and make disciples for Jesus. We cannot afford to delay or be negligent in our Divine task. There is too much at stake. The salvation of those we love and influence is at risk! Who will reach them if we are not obedient to His calling? How can we escape if we neglect this great salvation? The time to win them is while God is calling us! If He is instructing us to take the message, He is preparing hearts to receive the message!

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to the needs of all people. In the book of Luke, the angels announcement of the birth of Christ was the proclamation of Good News for all mankind. Luke 2:10, “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” All men must hear the message of redemption and freedom in Jesus Christ.

Our “Mission” is ordained and empowered by God. Christ commissioned the Church but as His disciples, we must embrace His command and accept individual responsibility to tell the “Good News.” The Church will fulfill Her role and complete Her Mission. As individuals, we have a choice. We will either embrace His call or settle for something less than complete surrender. Without total abandon for Christ, we cannot finish our assignment successfully. We cannot afford to fail in this endeavor. Matt. 7:21, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Lost Souls, Lost For Eternity!!!

Something To Think About! by Myra Boozer

If there were no God and no Bible filled with the prophecy about the last days, what intelligent person would think that this world would last long with all that is going on? When Nations are about to fall because of the economy and collapse because of debt...moral decline has hit BOTTOM...the earth is coming apart at the seams because of earthquakes and volcanoes...people are killing the innocent at an increasing rate...evil men have grown more corrupt in their deeds, hating and killing all over the world...disease and sickness are out of control.

What kind of future do you see? It is horrible, beyond horrible if time goes on! But for those who love God and have chosen to follow Him, He has made a way of ESCAPE. He is coming to take us out of this horrible and depraved atmosphere that has been created by ungodly men and women.

People have pushed God aside and want to create a new world with NO rules or standards of Godliness. It seems every day you hear more plans to confuse and turn our children and grands from the truth that God designed for us to follow or to be as He created us to be. Everyday sin is getting stronger in the hearts and minds of sinful man. Even if there were no God and no Bible...(WHICH THERE IS) this world could not go on the way it is going. Sin is like a cancer and it destroys.

The great news is that God spared not His only begotten Son but sent Him to earth to take the punishment for the sin of mankind. The ball is now in your court. You can choose to allow Him to forgive your sins and choose to follow Him or remain as you are and suffer the punishment of sin throughout eternity.

2 Corinthians 13:5, "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" Something To Think About!

I Need You, Lord!

My Lord Jesus Christ, show forth Your Mercy! When I survey my world, I am troubled and distracted by the events and conditions surrounding me! I need You to help me to focus on Your will for today. I need You to guide my thoughts, my prayers, my speech, and my steps. It is only through You that I can press through the darkness which surrounds me, a darkness and evil so intrusive and pervasive that its goal is to take away Your very Life in me.

I struggle within this fleshly house, and I know that it is Your strength that will prevail. Rise up, Oh Holy Spirit, and exert Your ownership in me. Push back the darkness and evil that takes my very breath away. Breathe on me the eternal, sovereign, deliverance that only You can bring. Trouble may endure for a night but Your Joy will come in the morning. The darkness will be forced to retreat and dissipate as the Son of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings. Healing for the soul, mind, and body.

Oh God! Take me there, where no sadness or sorrow can exist. Lift me up above the shadows of this world and set my feet upon the mountain top, high above the battle for my eternal soul. Release me from the chains of this mortal existence and cause me to walk in the everlasting life of Your Eternal Promise. I long to walk by the still waters and rest in Your Divine Presence.

Oh, how I desire to escape from this intruder sent to buffet me. He has come upon me suddenly and abruptly. He is not welcome here and I will resist with every ounce of strength until You come. And You will come to release me from the bonds of this flesh.

Bring the rain of Your sweet Deliverance upon my thirsty soul. Fill my mind, my heart, and my soul with Your Word of Promise. Cause the aroma of Your Presence to envelope me. Push back the evil and darkness. Direct me to walk in the light of Your Path and surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life! All I Need Is You, Lord Jesus!

Life Without God! by Myra Boozer

Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil...It has no point!" When the woman in the book of John, chapter 8 was taken in adultery in the very act the Law wanted to stone her. So they asked Jesus. He stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger, "He that is without sin among you, let him cast a stone at her...” And again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. I WONDER WHAT HE WROTE THAT TIME! Whatever it was it CONVICTED their own conscience and they went away one by one. Jesus was left alone with the woman. WHAT DID HE TELL HER TO DO? He got up from the ground and asked "woman where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?" She said, “No man Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee...” And here is the clincher that many don't want to hear! “...go and sin no more." That was the answer Jesus gave!

Yes, heaven will be full of people who were once sinners. But they were convicted in their hearts by the words of Jesus and they like the woman stayed behind to hear what the LORD had to tell them, "...go and sin no more." But that is not the end! Jesus said in John 8:12, "...I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness (sin), but shall have the light of life.” But do you know what the Pharisees said to him about that? "...Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true." That is what many in the world are believing today that HIS Word is not TRUE! That is why we live in such a SAD world because so many are unbelievers!

John 11:25, “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? Jesus tells us in John 8:34, "...Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.” BUT the best verse for all is John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” We must believe! If we truly believe, we will follow after the Lord daily. We will no longer be called a drunkard, a thief, a liar, an adulterer, or a sinner! We will be called by the name of Christ, a Christian! I truly want to be worthy of His name!

Peace In Troubling Times!

Romans 15:13, “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

The word's of an old song from the early '70s comes to mind this evening as I ponder the condition of our world. It goes something like this, "Troublesome times are here, filling men's hearts with fear, freedom we all hold dear now is at stake. Humble your hearts to God, saves from the chastening rod, seek the way pilgrims trod, Christians awake.

Troubles will soon be o'er, happy for evermore, when we meet on that shore, free from all care. Rising up in the sky, telling this world goodbye, homeward we then will fly, glory to share.

Jesus is coming soon morning or night or noon, many will meet their doom, trumpets will sound. All of the dead will rise, righteous meet in the skies, I'm going where no one dies, heavenward bound."

We live in troubling times if all you see is the present conflict. Paul said, "If in this life only I have hope, I am of all men most miserable," 1Cor. 15:19. We must have hope beyond what we see. And we do have hope if we have put our faith in Jesus Christ. The child of God has nothing to fear. Actually, we should be excited that last days prophecies are being fulfilled and that "Jesus is coming soon..."

In the midst of all the turmoil everywhere, let us be thankful that Jesus has provided an escape. My prayer is that during this present celebration of Thanksgiving and the coming Christmas season, that we the Body of Christ will reflect the glory of God in such a fashion that the unbelieving will see Christ and make that decision to follow Him. May the presence of the Holy Spirit be with you in every gathering! Peace In Troubling Times!

Happy Thanksgiving from our house to yours!

Can You Hear The Rumbling? by Myra Boozer

How do you stop an avalanche? What is an avalanche? It is a large mass of loosened snow, earth, etc sliding down a mountain, an over-whelming amount coming suddenly. You can"t stop an avalanche! But you can hear the rumbling noise and get out of the way...possibly.

Are you hearing the noise of the over-whelming avalanche that is coming on this world? If not then maybe we need to get very quiet and still and listen. The rumble is getting louder, but it seems our world just turns up their music of distraction (what-ever it may be) to drown out the Sound of the coming disaster.

There is good news! Jesus is the rock, He is the fortress, He is the shelter in the time of storm. Stand strong in Him today and know that His Father has EVERYTHING, including the avalanche that will come suddenly, in His hands. Trust in the one who created Heaven and Earth and all that is in it! Can You Hear The Rumbling?

The Lord Of Our Storms!

Acts 27:27, “But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down...29Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day. 30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship, 31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved. 32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.” They had to remain in the ship and continue to have faith in the revelation that the Lord had given to Paul. God's plan of deliverance was to include the debris of the broken vessel, the vessel that had sustained them thus far. But, they had to be willing to stay with the ship until she literally broke apart on the rocks. Those broken pieces became their salvation. When our circumstances are falling apart, we must stay true and obedient to God’s command in order to be saved.

Acts 27:33, “...Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. 34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you...36 Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat. 37 And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls. 38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.” The fast was concluded. They could take comfort that all would be saved and they were all (276) of good cheer. They continued in faith and obedience as they threw everything overboard to lighten the ship. They had done what they knew to do! Now was the time to allow the Lord to bring an end to their storm. They took up the anchors and committed to the sea, completely free of all encumbrances, completely sustained by the wind of God.

Acts 27:41, “And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves...43 the centurion...commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land: 44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.” God's process will run its course and in the end, His purpose is secured. How many times in our own lives have we survived on the broken pieces of our ship? The storms have been strong and the struggle bitter! But, we have stayed with The Lord Of Our Storms and our end is secure in Him!

Struggles Are Necessary! by Myra Boozer

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 41:31

I have been thinking about struggles lately, maybe because I have had a few. I came across this story and it helps put things into perspective. Maybe it will help someone else.

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no further. So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon.

The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that at any moment the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It was never able to fly.

What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

SOMETIMES STRUGGLES ARE EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED IN OUR LIVES. If God allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could be. We could never fly! Lord, help me to not doubt the path you have chosen for me because you are working ALL things for my good, even in the struggles.

This life is full of struggles but one Day, and it may not be that far away, we are going to hear that trumpet sound and our wings are gonna open wide, lifting us right off this earth to meet our Lord in the clouds. We will be so glad we endured whatever we had to endure to make us strong in the Lord. I'm gonna lift my hands till I reach Heaven...a sign of surrender to the Almighty One and also a sign of adoration to OUR KING. Struggles Are Necessary!

God Will Make A Way!

Tonight, as I contemplate the conditions that exist in our world, I am reminded of how really important it is to believe in a living God who wants to be intimately involved in my life. And, He wants to be involved in your life in the same way. Actually, He desires to be involved in every detail of each and every life on the face of the earth.

Presently, people are dealing with very difficult situations and circumstances all over the world. Humanity is in a crisis. We have come to a place where we need to know the solution to our dilemma. We need answers to stabilize this volatile environment.

I don’t know how you are feeling right now but I can imagine the varying levels of fear, confusion, frustration, and helplessness that many are experiencing. Our future doesn’t appear too promising if you only look at the current conditions in our world. But there is a solution to each and every problem that we face. God will make a way! Jesus Christ is the Way Maker for every person, community, and nation that will call to Him for help!

A good example recounted in the Bible comes to mind. You find the story in the book of Jonah about the great city of Nineveh. God was preparing to destroy the city because of their wickedness. However, God sent Jonah there to warn them. Jonah went throughout the city, from one end to the other telling them that God would destroy the entire city except they repent of their evil ways.

When the King heard Jonah’s warning he declared a time of prayer. He put off his royal garments and clothed himself in sackcloth, covered his head with ashes, and knelt before God in repentance. The King led the way and the whole city repented before the Lord God. God spared the city!

During the time of our present crisis, we are being admonished to Pray. Our president has continued to call us to prayer. Our Christian leaders, Clergy, Pastors continue to call us to prayer. It is truly time to pray, falling on our knees, crying out to God for our deliverance. 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

God has brought us to this place to give the opportunity for all who will call upon His Name to be saved. This is the dividing line and all who have a desire to know God will move toward Him. But, those who don’t want to have any part with Him will move further into darkness. It’s time to choose! It’s Time To Pray!

Come Up Higher! by Myra Boozer

Lord, push back the darkness that comes against everyone. Lord, please help our children to delight in your Light and your never-ending Love. Set their feet on a clear path and give their minds a deep understanding of who you are, their creator and the Father of all mankind! You love like no other. You are their constant friend who will stand by them when the whole world is sound asleep. You are never far but always near. You come, and call them to come up higher, high above the sad and the gloom that tries to hide your love from them.

You call for us all to open our eyes and see all your beauty. You call us to know you by name, and recognize your loving voice. You call us to hold your hand and know that you are our Protector. You pick us up and carry us when we can no longer walk on our own. You are the one who rescues us when the winds of evil blow across our path. You wipe our tears and wash our faces. You reassure us of who we are, and who YOU are, Our Loving Father. You will never leave us and never forsake us as You invite us to Come Up Higher!

Lord, What Would You Have Me Do?

Acts 9:6, “And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.”

Saul was on his way to Damascus with documents to imprison followers of Jesus Christ. This text recounts Saul’s response to his Divine Encounter with Jesus on the road that day. Saul had his own objective but God had a different path planned for him. It took a Divine Revelation to change him and the direction he was going. Confronted with the Presence of Jesus Christ, his response was, “Lord, what would you have me do?” We would do well to seek God for the same attitude of submission that we could proclaim, “Lord Jesus, what would you have me do?

God, help us to yearn for Your Divine Presence and the Revelation of Your Truth! Lord Jesus, open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to hear Your voice today! We need a revelation of Your plan. We are not seeking an understanding by this mortal flesh. We are seeking the Divine revelation of the Word of God. The same revelation that the Old Testament prophets experienced as they walked in obedience and depended upon the impartation of Your instruction and anointing to bring a relevant Word from God to the people of God. The same revelation that the New Testament apostles experienced as You called them out and set them apart to be Your voice for Your message to a world in crisis, lost, and without hope except for Jesus' sacrifice.

Holy Spirit take charge of this mortal flesh! Lead us along the correct path to receiving God's revelation and understanding of His Word relevant to where we are today. We are not seeking insight built upon human understanding because that is empty and fruitless. The revelation of Your truth surpasses all human understanding and is far above this world's knowledge. The hope of our heart and our soul's desire is to receive and impart Your truth. Your truth delivers the sin-sick soul, frees the shackled, and heals the wounded heart. Lord, revive Your Word afresh in our souls and lead us to those in need. Lead us Lord and we will follow where ever You open up the door. Lord, What Would YOU Have Me Do?

Now Is Come Salvation, Strength And The Kingdom Of God! by Myra Boozer

Revelation 12:10, “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

Will you be in that number? The number of Believers...the number of those who will overcome? Will you allow God to break everything unlike Him off your life? Will you allow every stronghold to crumble and fall at His feet? Will you surrender to His Voice as He calls for you to daily take up His cross?

Will you be in that number? The number of Believers...the number of those who will overcome? Will you listen to His Direction? Will you follow as He Commands? Will you wash your robes in righteousness and be ready for His Coming? His Coming is at hand! Will you be used in His perfect plan and Reign with Him in His Kingdom?

Then you must break loose from all the chains that bind you. You must seek a Power greater than yourself to deliver you from all the chains of addiction and distraction...to be set free for the awesome task of being the extension of His Arm of strength and deliverance. Be the extension of His loving heart...His kind and gentle spirit...His meek and lowly ways...His patience, slow to anger...His forgiving and accepting ways for those who ask forgiveness and even those who don't. Be the extension of His Righteous Judgment to bring counsel to those who have questions...

Can you be of good Courage even in your Garden of Gethsemane? Be strong in this Day of Adversity...be not puffed up with pride and conceit when His Blessings come down like rain. Love your enemies when they say all manner of evil against you. Know you are of the Royal Family, yet love and help those who are living in the gutters of despair.

Lord, we are ever pressing to be like you. We seek to have a broken and contrite heart, allowing you to count us worthy and add us to that number. The number of Believers, the number of those who will overcome, the number who will be like YOU!

Jude 1:20, “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. 24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”

Stand Still And See The Salvation Of The Lord!

Matthew 28:18, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

According to the Bible, we know that God is always the VICTOR! God is Sovereign in power and authority and when He is challenged He always WINS. In the book of Exodus, when God was bringing His people out of slavery in Egypt, Satan challenged God. God said, “let My people go,” and ten times Satan replied through his servant Pharaoh, No! God responded with ten plagues of pestilence, disease, and death. Israel was protected! God was VICTORIOUS!

Satan challenged God again at the Red Sea. With Pharaoh's army behind them and the Red Sea before them, Moses and the children of Israel had nowhere to go except to God. God’s response, “...stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD,” Exodus 14:13. God miraculously divided the Red Sea and Israel walked through on dry ground. When all of Israel had reached the other side, the waters miraculously returned to their former state drowning the entire Egyptian army. God is always VICTORIOUS!

The same Bible teaches us that Jesus will WIN this present raging spiritual war! Though the enemy rises up to interfere with our mission, our victory has already been secured. Jesus declared victory at Calvary as He proclaimed, “It is finished!” John 19:30, “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”

God sent Jesus to be the Savior of the world, to take upon Himself the sin of all men and pay the awful price for sin. That price was the death of the sacrifice, His sacrifice. But, in three days Jesus came out of the grave to declare our final victory over death, hell, and the grave. Consequently, He embodies the Power of God to Prevail over all things, “...of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth,” Philippians 2:10. Jesus is our power to prevail. Stand Still And See The Salvation Of The Lord!

Need Confidence? by Myra Boozer

If you are in need of confidence (trust, reliance, assurance), turn your eyes to the Lord Jesus. That is where our help comes from. There is no greater power or greater force than God. Yes, God uses man sometimes to take care of the things that we may need. But, for the one who created this whole universe and hung it in space, He really doesn't need anyone to help Him, but He allows us to be part of His great plan.

Put your trust in Him and your confidence will rise knowing this. Psalms 40:11, "Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD, let thy loving kindness and thy truth continually preserve me." It is He who gives us life and all that we need ONE DAY AT A TIME. “For in thee O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God,” Psalm 38:15.

When we truly BELIEVE then we will be filled with confidence, not in ourselves, but in God. "Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies," Psalm 40:4.

Jesus Wins This War!

Galatians 6:9, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Don’t grow “weary in well doing.” Persecutions and afflictions are synonymous with being a disciple of Christ. Actually, tests and trials are the anthem of the “born again.” Paul testified to the deliverance of Christ because Christ brought him through persecutions and afflictions. 2Tim. 3:10, “But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.”

The Lord Jesus delivered Paul out of them all. That was Paul’s testimony. Paul “endured” hardness (to suffer, be afflicted) as a good soldier of the Cross therefore, he could instruct Timothy to do the same. 2 Tim. 2:2, “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 3Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”

Persecution will become more intense as we approach the coming of Jesus Christ and the consummation of all things. 2 Tim. 3:12, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;”

Though the enemy rises up to interfere with our mission, our victory has already been secured. Jesus declared victory at Calvary when He embraced the role of His sacrifice. Psalm 22:14, “I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.” Jesus poured Himself out on the cross and there is power in the blood of his sacrifice to empower us to finish His mission here.

Take heart, be encouraged, we’ve read the last chapter in His Book. Jesus Christ is victorious! Put your trust in Him! Walk in His strength! He will provide everything we need to successfully complete our mission. Jesus Wins This War!

Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

The Lord Is My Refuge! by Myra Boozer

A word from "The Word." Psalm 5:11, "But let all who take refuge in you be GLAD; Let them ever SING for JOY. Spread your protection over them, that those who LOVE Your Name may rejoice in You. 12 For surely O Lord You bless the righteous; You surround them with Your favor as a Shield,” NIV. I love the scripture and song that says "For thou O Lord art a shield for me the glory and the lifter up of mine head." Don't be troubled or cast down. The ONE you love, the ONE you adore, the ONE who gave His very life for you is watching and waiting to come and restore His Kingdom here on this earth. And He will rule and reign forever and ever.

No question about it, He has everything under control and He knows your name. Don't worry, stay close and let nothing pull your thoughts aside from His will for your life… "Not my will but thine be done," is the prayer for us to pray. He knows our path and He knows our hearts.

There is Favor for you as His child, when you walk with Him...not that everything will go the way WE think...but that He knows what is best and will work all things for our good. He is our Faithful Father! Trust in Him! It isn't that much further and we'll be HOME!

He Restores My Soul!

Psalm 23:1, “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”

God is enough for any person that will put their full trust in Him. The writer of this passage knew that very well. Speaking from the perspective of one who spent his young life with sheep, David knew the attributes of a good shepherd and made the comparison to his relationship with God.

David had learned that God would provide all that he needed in life. But more than that he knew that God would lead him in the direction that best pleased Him for His honor and His glory. He also knew that God would be with him every step of the way though he had to travel through the enemy’s camp. God’s anointing would be sufficient for all his days and in the end, he would dwell in the presence of God forever.

Jesus Christ is enough for us today if we will put our full trust in Him. He will provide all that we will ever need in this life. He will do that for His namesake! We carry His Name as followers of Christ. It is His reputation that He will defend and protect. In the presence of our enemies, He will raise up His Standard. We will walk in His anointing all our days and in the end, rest in His presence forever.

How can anyone pass up this glorious opportunity? How can we neglect such an awesome invitation? He Restores My Soul!

My Safe Place! by Myra Boozer

Life is so full of troubles, trials and disappointments and many days our hearts can be broken because of all that is going on in our world. Neglected children, the forgotten elderly, the sick and dying, and the lonely with no one to share the day. It is a beautiful thing to know that God has a place that provides protection and shelter, a place one can turn to for help, relief, and escape. The Lord tells us He is with us at all times. But we must leave our little world of survival and focus our hearts and minds towards Him who is our refuge.

When we give all our TRUST to Him alone, then it happens. He comes and sits with us and talks with us wrapping His big arms of love around us. It is then we realize we are not alone or overtaken by any burden that He cannot handle.

When we allow the Holy Spirit to renew our mind we are actually surrendering to what is going on and receiving our life vest for survival during our storm. Spiritually, we are taken into that safe place of His protection, His pavilion and none of the things of this world can defeat us. Not that we are not there already, but when our hearts don't stay FIXED on Him, we do not REST in His PRESENCE.

We must stay awake and aware that the world will pull us in, leaving us vulnerable to Satan and his lies of defeat. BUT Jesus says come unto me ALL of you that are troubled or overtaken and I will give you REST. He is our safe place in a world of calamity. He is our shelter in the time of the storm. He is the one who lifts us up above the shadows and puts our feet on solid ground.

To really know Him is to TRUST Him...To Trust Him means that your soul will be at REST... When all around us is crumbling down...Our heart is fixed on the Lord and we are safe and secure in Him...Jesus is My Safe Place!

God Is Lifting Up His Standard! Conclusion

Difficulty has arisen because of a departure from the leadership of the Holy Spirit. How can we be led by Him if we are not first possessed by Him? How can we be possessed by Him unless we believe that He exists as the third person of the Godhead fulfilling Jesus' promise to be our comforter? John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” The promise of the Comforter was to provide a Paraclete to lead and guide the Church as Christ's Advocate or on His behalf. The Holy Spirit is to lead the Church just as God lead Israel and Jesus led the New Testament Church.

The Hebrews writer tells us that if we are to please God we must first believe that He exists and secondly believe that He will reward us as we seek Him. Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Consequently, we must believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, co-existing and co-equal with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. Those who reject the Person and work of the Holy Spirit reject the whole of God's plan and that is the root of the confusion. When this basic scriptural truth is denied, every doctrine built upon that foundation is at risk of dilution or discarding altogether.

The doctrine of inclusion came into existence because religious leaders wanted to accommodate people. As public opinion has become increasingly more liberal, societal pressure has expanded to include entire groups of people and lifestyles. Although the Word of God strongly condemns carnal, fleshly thought and lifestyles, the moral climate of the world demands that such behavior be accepted and embraced by the populace of the world including Christianity and the Church.

The Kingdom of God is a spiritual entity and as such has a spiritual administration. True, we all are mortal beings but God uses mortal beings in His Kingdom if they are subject to the Holy Spirit. Therefore, the work of the Holy Spirit must be embraced in submission and obedience. The tension comes in the conflict between the carnal leadership of man and the administration of the Holy Spirit. Religious leadership has succumbed to the collusion of ambition, greed, and pride. Therefore the door is thrown open wide for governance by man and the Holy Spirit has been expelled. Hence our present dilemma.

God will set apart and identify the believers in His Kingdom. By the Holy Spirit, God is lifting His Standard and His obedient followers are flowing to it as the enemy comes in like a flood. The question today is, “Am I going to follow a religious movement or the Holy Spirit?” The answer to that question will determine our affiliation with a religious group or being a part of the Kingdom of God. And the answer to that question will determine our eternity. My prayer is that we will allow the Holy Spirit to open our ears to hear what He is saying in this late hour!

Written In Stone! by Myra Boozer

"You shall consecrate yourselves therefore and be holy, for I am the Lord your God. And you shall keep My statutes and practice them, I am the Lord who sanctifies you," Leviticus 20:7-8.

A friend used to tell me quite often when we were making plans...now it's NOT written in stone. In other words, our plans could change and they usually did to some degree. The 10 Commandments are a different story.

When God gave them to Moses on tablets, they were written in stone. He believed and meant every word He wrote. They are called Commandments because they are just that. They are not suggestions. To be even more clear, they are God's Laws. Thru all these years, God has not changed them. Many would like to forget them, remove them, and destroy them. But, God has not and will not allow this to happen.

Jesus came that they might be written on our hearts. The love Jesus has for us causes us to desire obedience to God, to do what He asks! Only by seeking God and having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ will we desire to obey this Word that is Written In Stone.

God Is Lifting Up His Standard!

In the Old Testament, a standard was the identifying colors of an army or kingdom. It was necessary to be able to identify allies and enemies. God's promise to Israel was that He would stand with them against His enemies. This is a necessary principle in our spiritual warfare today.

God will set apart (sanctify) and identify as His the believers in His Kingdom. How is that going to happen? It is happening at this present moment! God is, by His Spirit, lifting His Standard and His obedient followers are flowing to it, as the enemy comes in like a flood. We are currently living in the time Isaiah described in chapter 59. In verses 16-21, Isaiah writes by the inspiration of the Spirit of God concerning the last day's restoration of the nation of Israel. God brought salvation at the first Advent of Christ but Israel rejected Him. At His second Advent or second coming He will judge His enemies and restore salvation to Israel. The restoration of Israel is at hand. The deliverance of the Body of Christ is even at the door.

Isaiah 59:19, “...When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” The enemy has come in like a river overrunning its banks and causing great destruction and distress where ever it flows. The flood gates are open and just as Aaron and the priesthood were co-conspirators in the disobedience and idol worship of the Israelites at Sinai, the leadership in Christianity must share the responsibility for where we are today. The strong emphasis placed on the doctrine of inclusion in the religious world has lead to a departure from the faith which was delivered to the saints of the New Testament. This doctrine must be reversed in the churches.

Instead of inclusion, separation of the Kingdom of God, and the kingdom of this world must be preached again from our pulpits. Although the gospel message is one of inclusion and is to all men, there always has been and always will be the Divine standard to be achieved. God’s holy standard can still be achieved in the heart of the submissive, obedient believer through the work of the Holy Spirit living within us. Jesus said that He (Holy Spirit) will lead and guide into all truth. John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” The Truth is the standard but can not be achieved apart from the indwelling of the Holy Ghost in the heart of the professing Christian. An Everlasting Kingdom! by Myra Boozer

God is so good! I want to tell you what happened this morning. As I was sitting in my bedroom doing some Bible study, I heard a bird hit my pineapple plant and patio door. I got up and opened the blinds to see what was going on. No bird, but laying on the cushioned glider was my camera. Wow, it had been a couple of days since I remember having my camera out back. Well, all I could think of was that God sent a little bird to my window to alert me of my camera. It wasn't long after that we got a short but hard rain.

As I continued to read and study, one of my scriptures reminded me of how great God is, even in small things. Daniel 4:2, “I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me. 3 How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.”

I am so thankful for the God I serve, and of whose kingdom I am a part. His Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom! God is still receiving new citizens through His Son Jesus Christ and his death on the cross. However, you must resign from all other loyalties and commit to His rule and His authority. That sounds hard for those who love to be in control. But, once you have given yourself to Him and received His Lordship your soul will rejoice and you will be confident in your decision. You will have no desire to leave the Father and His great provision. He is such a great, great Father full of mercy so I thank Him for all He does for me, including the small things. (written July 4, 2016)

Satan Is Already Defeated! Conclusion

Satan is caught in the trap of his own deceit which separates him from the reality of God's plan. The reality begins at the cross. The reality is that the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin and delivers us from the power of sin. 1 John 1:7, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” Romans 8:2, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Therefore the blood of Jesus delivers us from the power of Satan's influence over this mortal body.

The reality is that the tomb could not hold Him. He is risen, exercising the power of God over death, hell, and the grave. He gives us the hope of eternal life. The reality is that He ascended to the Father but He did not leave us powerless but promised the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” The reality is that He has given us power and authority to go into the Devil's house and take back what he has stolen from us. He is a thief and comes to kill, steal and destroy but Jesus has overcome him and so can we!

The reality is that He is coming again and soon. Matt. 28:11, “Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”

This is God’s Promise to the Believer! 1Thess. 4:16, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

This is God’s Promise to the Deceiver! Revelation 20:10, “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

Don't Let Satan Steal Your Identity! by Myra Boozer

I believe Satan is working overtime to steal, kill, and destroy everyone he can. If you have heard anything about him, you know he is a liar and the father of lies. He is a fallen angel who is destined to be imprisoned in the bottomless pit. (See Revelation 20)

I want to tell you that he can only do what you allow him to do! As a Child of God, you are covered by the blood of Jesus. You have been purchased by the Son of God, bought with the price of Jesus’ great sacrificial death.

You are no longer the same person. You are the redeemed of the Lord and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. You're God's very own child. That means you are of royal descent. You have authority and have the support of YOUR Father, God, to fight your battles against Satan.

Remember what I told you about Satan. He is working overtime in these last days to steal, kill, and destroy. (See John 10:10) I feel today more than ever he is out to steal your identity in Christ Jesus. He will accuse you and lie to you about your Father, God. He does everything he can to make you doubt the Father's love for you, even to the point of telling you that you're not even saved. He will bring up the past and run you down with it if you allow him to!

I want to warn you! Immediately, you need to stand your ground which is the Word of God. Tell Satan out loud if you need to that you are a redeemed Child of the Most High God.

Satan wants to steal your identity causing you to doubt who your Father is, causing you to fall into unbelief. He will strip you of your dignity and honor if you allow him to! Satan works in our minds and can cause us to doubt our Father's love for us. He can bring about a helpless and hopeless state of mind if we allow him to!

Rise up in Victory today as you stand on the Word of God! Tell Satan who he is and who you are. You are a blood-bought, righteous child of God. Jesus’ royal blood now flows in your veins!

Thank you, Father, because you have given us the right to be your children, heirs of your Kingdom. You have made us rich in power and authority over every evil force that comes against us, all because of your "Name." It's because of who you are and the fact that we belong to you. we are your children! Romans 8:14, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."

Satan Is Already Defeated!

Philippians 2:8, “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

There is a time in the near future when all creation will bow at the feet of Jesus Christ and declare true reverence to Him. Jesus, the Son of God, humbled Himself to a degrading death on a Roman cross. In doing so, He became the eternal sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. His blood was poured out for the Victory of every believer. Through the power of His resurrection and triumph over death, hell, and the grave, Jesus has brought LIFE to all who will believe.

By the same triumphant act, He has sealed the doom of every entity that stands in opposition to God’s plan for all mankind. “...Of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth,” all will bow in humble, submissive, reverence to Jesus Christ as the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. This ultimately will happen in the END, the CONSUMMATION of all things.

However, Satan is already defeated! He just hasn’t conceded his loss! Jesus has empowered the Body of Christ to bring to fruition the domain of His miraculous power. The Lord Jesus Christ wants to reveal the awesomeness of His miraculous power in and through the Body. He wants to use the Body of Christ to march into Satan's house, the very seat and throne of his rule, and rescue perishing souls.

Satan has believed his own lies. He is the father of lies. He exists in the domain of lies and deceit. He cannot discern where the lie ends and reality begins. He thought he could defeat Jesus in the wilderness of temptation. He thought he could defeat Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane. He thought he had defeated Jesus on the cross. He thought he had defeated Jesus when they sealed Him in the tomb. But what Satan failed to remember was that all this was according to prophecy and God's plan. Jesus brought us to the apex of spiritual victory when He walked out of that tomb! That was God's plan! Satan Is Already Defeated! (continued)

Redeemed By The Blood Of Jesus! by Myra Boozer

The days are evil and the storms of life are raging...The enemy has come in like a flood as it rips through our land trying to wash away every grain of truth and justice that has prevailed in our country since the beginning of her existence. Turmoil has found a landing on the steps of every home and the heart of every man, woman, and child. The winds of this world whisper, “you are alone and no one is interested in your sorrow...just forget about finding refuge in the soul of another human being...Trust only in your might and none other...no one cares or is able to lift you above the muddy waters of this terrible swift and raging current.”

But wait, I hear the chirping of the sparrow and see the Eagle on the highest bough...and listen to the breeze as it sings the sweetest song...Redeemed, You are redeemed...you have been purchased, bought with a price...counted worthy to be forgiven and you are FREE...This is no time to be discouraged...God is allowing us to build strong faith in HIM and not our circumstances. No mortal relationship can save us! We are Redeemed by the Blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHJPwI1Qioo

Dressed For Battle? Conclusion

This is war, a spiritual war! Eph. 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” We are not fighting flesh and blood but against spirits and against the very ruler of the darkness of this world. But there is hope. His name is Jesus! God will give the victory to those who are willing to go with Him.

The Devil is already defeated. When Jesus embraced the role of His sacrifice, He gave Himself on the cross at Calvary for all men who would believe. John 19:30, “...It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” The battle is won because we are forgiven and the enemy has nothing to hold over our heads. We are redeemed by the blood of the precious Lamb of God.

There is power is the blood of His sacrifice. Power to march into the enemy's domain! Somebody must deliver this message. Someone has to invade this realm of darkness in the power of Christ and declare freedom to imprisoned souls. Are you ready to be used by God in such a mighty endeavor? Let us go together! My prayer is that God will ignite a fire in the Body of Christ. A fire that will become a raging, consuming fire of God so that we burn so hot and so bright that the darkness cannot stay where we go.

The demoniac in Mark 5 recognized Jesus when He encountered them. Jesus’ presence demands the reverence and fear of Almighty God. Mark 5:6, “But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, 7And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.”

There is coming a time in the future when all creation will bow at the feet of Christ. All creation will declare true reverence to Him as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. But I am convinced that Christ Jesus wants to use the Body of Christ today to attain the fulfillment of His miraculous power.

Mark 16:17, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

I am convinced that the Lord Jesus wants to use the Body of Christ to march into Satan's house, the very seat, and throne of his rule and rescue perishing souls.

Isaiah 61:1, “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

These are the words that Jesus read in the Temple and declared “...This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.” Luke 4:21. That was the scope of Jesus' ministry as prophesied by Isaiah. That was the authority of His mantel. He gave that mantel of authority to the Church as He commissioned Her to complete His ministry. He passed His mantel of authority to His Body. Let us embrace His command and go in the power and the authority of His Spirit. Dressed For Battle!
