Your Resurrection Power! by Myra Boozer

Lord, I must know you in the Power of Your Resurrection.

Not in the eyes of men, but in the eyes of

the Great I Am.

It is not in who I say I am or even in who I think I am,

Nor is it in the people I think I know.

It is not in the words I write or any good thing I might say.

It is all in you Lord and who you are!

You Lord, are the heartbeat of everything.

You are the source and strength of my life.

You are the bread on my table.

You are my rest when I lie down.

You are the fire that brings me warmth,

And the breeze that cools my brow.

You are my healer, my faithful sustainer,

My teacher and my inspiration.

You are the Light that directs my path.

Lord, you are the wheel that keeps on steering.

You are the wind that blows upon my sails.

You are the anchor when my ship is tossing.

Lord, You are my Everything...

These things I feel I need and you have provided

But most of all...

I need Your RESURRECTION POWER...

I must have YOUR power...

Power to arise on That Resurrection Day...

Whether in the ground...

Or up walking around...

Lord fill me with Your Resurrection Power! Philippians 3:10, "That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;”

The Gift Of Resurrection!

The promise of resurrection power is valid and secure because Jesus ensured that promise through the gift of His resurrection. He led the way before us and came forth from the grave exercising power over death, hell, and the grave. The way has been prepared for all who will look to Jesus and believe that the same Spirit that raised Him will also raise every believer.

1 Cor. 15:50, “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” We can embrace the power of His Resurrection. We can receive His Promise by His example and proceed with full assurance. When He comes, “the dead in Christ shall rise first...then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1Thess. 4:16-17.

God will have the last word. He will determine the way all this ends. We can know what our end will be. The Word of God has already declared the Victory and Glory of God! All Creation is declaring the Sovereignty and Majesty of God! All power and authority rest in His Hand! The future of the Believer is secure in His Hand because of The Gift Of His Resurrection!

I Long To See You Jesus! by Myra Boozer

I long to see You Jesus, high and lifted up in Your Glory, in Your wealthy prominent estate. You are rich in Royalty and flow with Grandeur. You are covered with the precious Anointing of Your Father as he said, "This is my Beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." There is no name above Your Name because You are the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I long to See You, Jesus!

But first I saw You differently. I saw You as one cast down upon a stone, crushed as an olive. There You gave forth the healing balm to all who believe in You.

I saw You being stricken with great ridicule and yet You were humble and You never lashed back.

I saw you being mocked and despised by those that had little or no regard for who You are. But, you said not one word.

I saw You cast aside as a foreigner by those who once loved You and called You Lord, yet You still loved them.

I saw You forgotten and forsaken by those of Your own Household.  You still called them Your people.

I saw You betrayed, stripped of Your robe and beaten without mercy, hung on an old rugged cross, mocked, ridiculed and left to die. I felt it was all because of me and my sin. Yet, You could have called ten thousand angels to release You.

Yes, You were held a short season by those who were blinded by their doctrine, traditions and selfish motives, those whom God allowed.

The same is happening today. Many are blind and they do not see the evil doctrines and hideous acts they are condoning, pushing You completely out of their lives. Many are cold, heartless and rebellious. You are still calling out to them in Your Mercy.

You are being crucified afresh, tortured by the heathen and they see You not. You are the Son of God but they are blind.

They give You no esteem for being who You are. They cast You down and consider You useless to them. They consider You powerless and weak, crumbling under their rejection. They seem to despise what You represent...Holiness...Truth...and Life Everlasting.

One day in the near future, "at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:10

Lord I am captured by Your love for mankind. You suffered and died for all who would call on Your Name. You went through much agony for us to be with You one day. I see You Strong and Mighty...full of Righteousness...High and Lifted up...Coming in Splendor to receive unto Yourself Your chosen Ones...Those who call You Lord...Those who are willing to die for You if need be...I Long To See You, Jesus!

It's Friday But Sunday Is Coming!

Luke 24:21, “But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.”

The period of time from the crucifixion of Jesus to His resurrection was a trying time for His disciples. The disciples were dejected and depressed because they had believed that Jesus was the one to “have redeemed” Israel but this “is the third day since these things were done.” Jesus had taught them that He would go to Jerusalem and there He would be killed. But He also taught them that He would be raised on the third day. Jesus had revealed the plan of God to them. However, they were so consumed with the dying part of the revelation that the enemy had stolen the most important part, the resurrection. This was the day of their salvation, redemption, and victory but they could not see it...yet!

These disciples had gone through all the emotions of losing someone near and dear to their heart. The first emotion was denial, the absolute disbelief that this could be happening to them. All the signs appeared to point to Jesus as the Messiah. How could they have been so wrong about Him? They had experienced the intrusion of life-altering doubt, a crippling doubt that would cause them to question all things previously discerned to be settled. How could they ever trust their emotions and discernment after suffering such a debilitating loss? They had dared to love and trust so deeply that their lives would be forever changed by this experience. God's plan was proceeding on schedule just as Jesus had prophesied. But they could not see it! The disciples were looking at the circumstances. How could they understand the revelation that Jesus was the Son of God and miss the prophecy of His death, burial, and resurrection?

The resurrection revelation was soon to come because this was the third day. The season had arrived but the hour had not come. God's plan is always on schedule but as Jesus' disciples found out, we must move into the realm of faith to preserve our convictions until the revelation comes.

The Body of Christ is suffering in a season of extreme trial and tribulation. “...though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:” 1 Peter 1:6. However, the hour of our deliverance is at hand. We must be so drawn to Him that when the circumstances say no to the revelation that His faith will arise in our hearts and preserve us until it is time for the fulfillment of the promise.

May God help us to have the spiritual fortitude to walk with Him until the hour of His revelation. 1 Thess. 4:16, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” It's Friday But Sunday Is Coming!

Jesus, Take Control! by Myra Boozer

There comes a time in all of our lives when the things we thought would happen just didn't happen for whatever reason. But, God wants us to be still and know that He sees every tear and every challenge we have faced. He is telling us to "Be still, and know that I am God..." Psalm 46:10.

Being still is so very hard for a child, and sometimes as an adult we get very anxious acting like a little child, wanting what we want, thinking we have everything figured out. We may think we have grown to maturity and think we have the bull by the horns. We have not! We must stand and look into the face of our great and mighty Maker and say woe is me for I am still childish.

“Take control of my life Lord and bring me to the place you want me to be, even though I may be kicking and rebelling all the time against you and your plan for my life. Yes, Lord please pick me up and correct me as I know you are a good Father and what you do will be for my own good. Times are changing fast and I lose my way. I must have your supervision in order to make my way to the place you have prepared for me and my family. Change me Lord into your image and into the Christian adult you want me to be. In your Holy Righteous Name I do humbly ask." Jesus, Take Control!

Our Hope Is Secure In Jesus Christ!

(for part 1 see 3/24/24)

The natural man within us is governed by conditions and circumstances. If we look only at what we see with our physical sight, our future is looking rather bleak. The dark days around us can become very distressing, discouraging, desperate, and hopeless. However, our life in Jesus Christ is not governed by our natural man. We can rise above every circumstance and condition by the Holy Spirit of God which inhabits this mortal body. We are not dominated by what we see or what we perceive to be taking place around us. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me...” Psalm 23:4. He will go with me all the way. He will ensure that I finish my mission according to His plan if I put my faith and trust in Him. I will fear no evil because He goes with me and leads me in the way I should go.

Thanks be to God who gives us the victory because He reigns Sovereign over all Creation. “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord,” 1Cor. 15:57-58. There has no trial been given to man that the power of His Love and Grace cannot vanquish. We stand in the power of His Love. His Love for all mankind set Him on the cross. His Love for us brought Him forth from the grave and raised Him Victorious over death and hell. By His Grace, He extends to us the gift of His Resurrection. Believe on Him, accept His promise and receive eternal live. (end part 2)

Stop The Worry! Get Ready! by Myra Boozer

Trust isn't a very big word but it sure brings about BIG changes in the lives of those who can open their heart and wrap their mind around it. Oh, the peace it can bring to a troubled soul! The calm assurance that comes all packaged with peace is priceless! It will pick you up and carry you in its arms if you only yield your will (your life) to His will and surrender your thoughts to His thoughts.

Being ready to meet the Lord means, "If we live or if we die we are safe in His arms of Mercy." So, we don't have to worry about anything. Being totally surrendered to His WILL brings us into "His Pavilion." Psalm 27:5, "For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock."

At His command, all creation has to listen and do what He says! When God speaks, I pray we will recognize that it is Him who is speaking. Sometimes He has to speak to us in a LOUD voice to get our attention. I feel He is speaking to the world today as it is spinning out of control with great concern about the floods, the fires, the disease, the hunger, the abuse, and the threats. Can you hear Him saying, "...Fear not, I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and HAVE THE KEYS OF HELL AND OF DEATH;" Revelation 1:17b-18.

Allow the Lord Jesus to speak to your heart today and show you where we are on His calendar. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and He is about to come for all those who have been washed in the blood of the Lamb. After that takes place, YOU don't want to be here! Great tribulation and the wrath of God will come upon this world! Please find your shelter in the safe place, "His Pavilion," the place of redemption and ultimate healing for your soul before the Rapture takes place.

Jesus could come any hour! For those who are ready, it will be wonderful! For those who aren't, it will be a horrible time! Don't spend your time worrying about what is coming. Be ready and watch! We do not know the HOUR He is coming but He IS coming! Stop The Worry! Get Ready!

The Lord God Jehovah Still Reigns!

1 Chronicles 16:31, “Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.”

You might look at the current conditions in our world and question, “Who is in control of all this chaos?” The answer is not complicated. In fact, it is really simple. God is still in control! Even though Satan is the instigator of all the hate, unrest, and mayhem, he can do no more than what God allows him to do. God, who spoke the worlds into existence, set the earth on its axis, threw the stars into the heavens, and drew the boundaries for the oceans is still in control.

Satan is still subject to the Sovereign Power and Authority of the Lord God Almighty. You might ask the question, “If God is in control, why are we seeing our lives turned upside down by all the turmoil in our world? Why are we seeing all the rioting, the pain, suffering, and death that has come to our nation, cities, and communities?”

God is Sovereign! However, as our Creator, He created us with the idea that we should be a creature of “free will.” We were all created with the gift of choosing the path for our lives. It is obvious that some people do not choose wisely and therefore they suffer the consequences of those choices. And many times their choices will affect the lives of others.

We have become living witnesses of that very thing. Many are suffering all around our world because the choices of some to perpetuate evil have overflowed into the lives of the people around them. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 3:13, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” That is one sign of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. God is simply allowing prophecy to be fulfilled in preparation for the consummation of all things in Christ Jesus.

We must look to God and draw strength from His Promises. He will not leave us or forsake us but He is getting us ready for our eternal home with Him in the New Heaven and the New Earth. This world will be destroyed and we will start all over just as in the Beginning. No sin, no evil, no sickness or disease but live in paradise for eternity because our Lord God Jehovah is still in control! (end pt 1)

Are You Drifting? by Myra Boozer

Have you noticed how we drift into different ways of living? For example, some people just take life so slow and easy and don't really want to go anywhere, they are happy where they are. While others are always in the fast lane with places to go and people to see. They are so busy having fun and accommodating their latest find of food or entertainment, that they almost live in a whirlwind.

D. A. Carson said, "People DO NOT DRIFT toward holiness...Apart from grace-driven effort, people DO NOT gravitate toward godliness, prayer, obedience to Scripture, faith, and delight in the Lord...We drift toward compromise and call it tolerance: We drift toward disobedience and call it freedom: We drift toward superstition and call it Faith. We cherish the indiscipline of lost self-control and call it relaxation. We slouch toward prayerlessness and delude ourselves into thinking we have escaped legalism. We slide toward godlessness and convince ourselves we have been liberated..."

Age makes a difference in our pursuit of life and what it offers but I believe we have drifted until many don't know how to find God. Start where you are and surrender ALL to Him. Then, we must pursue HIM until He catches us, captivates, and changes us into His image...no longer trapped by worldly attractions and sounds...no longer drifting on the sea of time... But looking unto our Blessed Hope, who is coming to rescue us from this world and its alluring deceptive ways. Are You Drifting?

(A ship that loses its propulsion capability flounders helplessly and is at the mercy of the winds and waves. Without the spiritual dynamic of Holy Ghost power, we will flounder helplessly at the mercy of the winds and waves of life)

Come Boldly Before The Throne Of Grace!

Hebrews 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

How do we know that God cares? Because our “great high priest” feels our pain! Jesus left His throne in glory, came to earth in the form of man, was tested in every way we could ever be tested, and did so without sin. He understands our human condition and is moved with compassion “with the feelings of our infirmities.”

How can we trust the promise God has made us? Because of who He is!  Psalm 24:1, ”The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. 3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.” God is Sovereign and Powerful to do what He wants to do. However, what He wills to do is consistent with truth and justice. Whatever He does will be done in Truth and Mercy.

Psalm 89:14, “Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

Lord, I come boldly before the throne of Grace that I may trust You with all my heart. I will not depend upon my own knowledge and ability. Lord, may I always acknowledge you and allow you to lead me. I pray that we all will Come Boldly Before The Throne Of Grace! In Jesus’ Name. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYefLBtqQyQ)

Giving Thanks! by Myra Boozer

I have heard it said, "What if tomorrow you were given only the blessings that you were thankful for today?" Now that really makes you think about stopping everything and giving thanks to Our Father for all His many Blessings! Psalms 63:7, "Because thou hast been my HELP, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice."

Giving thanks to our Almighty God for His great Love and Mercy...For His Truth that stands even when untruth is roaming this world and destroying many lives. Thankful for a peaceful day in a world with the threat of war on every hand.

Thankful for Joy even though my heart breaks for the sin that is raging and deceiving many. Thankful that with all the rain we've had our home hasn't flooded or washed away. Thankful for a comfortable home and a good place to sleep when many are displaced because of catastrophes.

Thankful for food to eat when many are starving and Mothers have had to feed their precious babies mud pies with a little salt added. Thankful for a family that I can hold and love...many people all over the world are losing their loved ones.

Thankful for people who speak Truth in the face of adversity and slander. Thankful for ears to hear and a mouth to speak Your Truth Lord to all who will listen. Thankful Lord, that I know you in a very personal relationship...it has kept me in perfect Peace when my mind is stayed on YOU!

Thankful for a desire to continue the work that you have given us to do...because your Word tells us, "...be Not weary in well doing." 2 Thessalonians 3:13

Thanks Be To God!

1 Corinthians 15:57, “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Thanks be to the God of our salvation who gives us the victory through the shed blood of Jesus Christ! There is no mountain too high, no valley too wide that the blood of Jesus cannot transcend and make all things right. All it takes is a broken and contrite heart willing to turn ourselves and all our baggage over to God.

The poor receive the good news in the Gospel!

The broken hearted are healed in the Gospel!

The captive are delivered in the Gospel!

The blind receive their sight in the Gospel!

The bruised are given liberty in the Gospel!

The burdened and battered are set free in the Gospel!

Seek the Lord while He may be found. Isaiah 55:6, “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:” 2 Cor. 6:2, “...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” The Message Bible states it this way, “Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped.” Thanks Be To God!

Our Hope Is Jesus! by Myra Boozer

Just thinking how Satan works to paint a picture of a horrible, no-win situation in the lives of those who may be going thru a dry valley...a place where you are thirsty for a drink of spiritual water...a place where you seem to be all alone and no one seems to have time to give you an encouraging word...a time when the wall just won't come down and the Lord seems to withhold the ladder for you to climb over. And then, with everything else it's time to pay those bills and the money is low...the tears seem to flow and the heart breaks but you find that the Lord is standing in front of you holding out His hands to you...wanting to lift you from the valley and sit you on the mountain of Hope where the sun is shining and the birds are singing the song of deliverance.

It is up to you...after you pour out your heart and rid yourself of all doubt and fears...reach up to the ONE who can change that picture and give you the best drink of water you have ever had. He will tear down those walls and open doors that have been closed. His promise is for you! If you are looking down instead of looking up, God loves you...love Him back and watch things begin to change. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEtDhcmQtzs&t=40s

Jesus Walks With Us!

As I sat on my patio observing the wonder of nature, I was reminded of how intimate our relationship is with our creator. The wind gently rustled through the trees causing the branches to sway back and forth. I could imagine the hand of God manipulating each branch much like I did as a child running my fingers through the tall, green blades of grass of summer. My heart felt compelled to say, “I see you there Lord. Yes, I am watching and listening.” It is exciting to know that He is so close to us. “Lord help us to always be aware of Your presence and not allow the struggles of this life to prevent that reality.”

Luke 24:30, “...he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. 31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.” These followers of Jesus Christ realized at that very moment that they had been entertaining the Hope of their lives, that it was the third day and Jesus was alive.

Luke 24:32, “And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? 33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them, 34 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon. 35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.” The veil of darkness was pulled back and the light of revelation rushed in. And so they rose up and returned to Jerusalem to join with their brethren in celebration of the risen Christ.

The revelation of this passage is that we are presently walking with our Lord Jesus Christ all along this journey. He is the Hope of our lives, our Savior, our Deliverer, our Miracle. As born-again believers we place our faith in the sacrifice of Christ and His finished work on the cross. He paid the price for our sin and disobedience and we have only to believe. As believers, we can embrace this truth without reservation. With this promise, we can respond to all life’s challenges with faith and expect His deliverance because He Walks With Us!

Matt. 6:13, “For thine (His) is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”

May We Remember! by Myra Boozer

JESUS is your Rock when everything begins to sink all around you.

HE is Your Bread when your pantry is empty.

HE is Your Home when you are evicted.

HE is Your Payment for a debt you cannot pay.

HE is Your Friend when all others forsake you.

HE is Your Light when darkness tries to hover over you.

He is Your Coach when you feel defeat has overcome you.

HE is Your Weapon when the enemy strikes.

HE is Your Joy in the time of great battle.

HE is Your Escape when the lions are hungry.

HE is Your Covering when all is stripped away.

HE is Your Passport when the time comes to leave.

HE is Your Key to the riches of Heaven.

"He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion," Psalm 111:4.

Oh, how quickly we can forget just what Jesus really means to us. When the storm has past and the sun begins to shine...May We REMEMBER the works of His Hands...this is our time to remember and be thankful...today and always…

Put Your Faith In God!

Galatians 6:7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

We are engaged in a great spiritual war with the unholy forces of darkness. The scope of this conflict is greater than any we have faced before and will become increasingly more intense as we proceed. We must place ourselves in position for optimal results for ourselves and those that we can assist. Jude 1:23, “And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”

We control the outcome of our battles by how we respond to them. If we become distressed and overwhelmed, the enemy will use that to defeat us. If we maintain faith and assurance, the Lord will be our rock and fortress. How do we achieve the latter and allow Christ to fight our battles? We must embrace Galatians 6:9 and have faith in God!

It all begins with an honest, faithful relationship with Jesus Christ. Come to the cross and leave everything there including yourself. Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” When you give it all to Him, it becomes His property and all belongs to Him. God will vigorously defend that which belongs to Him.

However, we must be strong in faith and submit to the way of God. We cannot become fractured by the circumstance and attempt to take control again. We will only repeat previous failures. Give all to the Lord and leave it there! Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

The discipline of our heavenly Father will save our lives. We must give Him our total selves, the good, the bad, the challenging and the pleasant. “Give them all to Jesus, shattered dreams, wounded hearts and broken toys...He will turn your sorrow into joy.” Put Your Faith In God!

Choose The High Road! by Myra Boozer

Oh, the roads we have all traveled at some point in our lives. Not your desired scenic routes that's for sure. You know the beautiful ones with views of a beautiful sky and mountains with rolling hills touched by rushing waters flowing over rocks and fish swimming downstream. The hills are covered with flowers blooming like they will never wither and die. The clouds exploding like cotton candy upon a sea of deep blue waters.

No, not all the roads are the same! Some roads lead us down paths of darkness and emptiness where it seems no living creature has ever been before. You feel as though you are the first explorer, traveling where NO one has ever trod. The paths are all covered with briers and debris that seems to have never been disturbed with nothing growing or blooming. It is barren of beauty because it is hidden by dark and heavy clouds, rumbling with the force of a storm and so frightful. These are the roads that can seem to never end. They certainly don't lead to where you had intended.

There are many tears of sorrow on this road, causing your vision to be blurred and dimmed. Sometimes causing you to make wrong judgments and decisions. Also, bad vision can make you see things that are not really there. At other times you don't see what is actually happening.

Be warned! Don't give in to the billboards that have been posted by Satan along the way. Those that promise quick relief to numb your pain. They will leave you a crumpled heap in the ditch. Look above all the distractions, and please don't pick up any hitchhiker by the name of "Self- Pity" or the "Accuser." They will make your road twice as long and almost unbearable.

You must come to yourself and look further than the road you are traveling. See Psalm 121:1-2 and declare, "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth." Look to the one who sees the big picture, and knows you by name. He knows exactly where you made the wrong turn.

Sometimes it is our not paying attention, or our stubbornness to think we know the way to go without consulting our Road Map. We must come to the place where we admit we are LOST and don't know the way out of the wilderness. We must call out in repentance, Lord, I am sorry that I missed the path you had for me. Somewhere I missed it, and I desire to be rescued from myself. I desire to be on a different road because this one is destroying me. Lord please shine your Light upon my path that I might see YOU and know your way. Lead me to a path where I can see your light and feel the sun’s rays upon my face, touching me with Your love and mercy and giving me direction for my life. I am so sorry for my sin and I want it to be repulsive to me so that I never turn back to my old ways. I want you to change me and make me new. Help me to have a love and desire for you that will quench all hunger and thirst for unrighteousness. Change my desires to want more and more of you Lord, until I meet You on that Day when you come to claim your own...

Oh God! Show Us Your Mercy!

As I gaze out my window, I am reminded of how good and how great God is. The earth with all its beauty was created by Him. He spoke the words and all things were created. The glory of it all is incomprehensible except by the Spirit of God. He must open our eyes to the totality of all that He has placed in our world. Help us Lord to search and find. Help us to see all your beauty and glory. My mind, my heart, and my spirit stand in awe of the wonder of Your creation!

In contrast, the picture of this world is catastrophic. What man has done to the glory of God's creative masterpiece is a shame and disgrace! How can we sincerely ask God to bless the mess that man has created? I simply pray, “God, show us your love, show us your grace, show us your mercy.” Just as the wind bends the mighty oak tree and its leaves and branches yield completely to the strength of the wind, may the Holy Spirit of God cause the nations to bow in convicted repentance. God move us by your Holy Spirit to yield to your will and your way. Bring us to a convicted repentance! Oh God! Have Mercy On Us! Oh God! Save us!

Isaiah 1:18, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.”

A Light In The Darkness! by Myra Boozer

It used to be when we went to Church, many of the husbands and Dad's that weren't living right (still sinning) would stay outside and talk and smoke. They knew the power of God and the convicting Spirit of the Holy Ghost would have them in the altar if they went inside.

This was back in the 50's and 60's and there was no air conditioning. The windows were raised and many times you could see some hanging around the windows. God's power was so strong and the altars would fill up with people calling out to God to forgive them. Thankfully even as a young child I knew that God was in the HOUSE and I yielded to the bidding of His convicting power.

Yes, I backslid, but not for long periods of time. We were taught to go back and do your first works over. Repent and be baptized again. I was taught never be a hypocrite (one who pretends to be something they are not).

If ever anything turns the world off to Christianity it is that very thing, for the Church to claim something they are NOT! God help us all to get real with God and with others and be the people we say we are. God's people, His Holy people, the Redeemed of the Lord, the Sanctified, The Church of the Living God.

Some have said you can't blame the sinner for not coming to the Lord. You must blame the Church for not being THE CHURCH. The Church is to be a light set on a hill for all to see the Love of God and to experience his forgiveness. But also to be A Light In Darkness to guide people to His TRUTH.

Light Or Darkness?

Matt. 24:9, “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

Our goal as the Body of Christ is not to offend or be offensive. However, offense is a characteristic of the end times. It is the struggle between light and darkness. Jesus said in His Olivet discourse that it would be this way. Many are offended because of the holiness of God’s Word. Many are offended when God shines His light into their darkness. Many are offended because they want to be justified in their sin but sin and holiness can not inhabit the same space. The Holy Spirit will shine His light upon our lives and reveal sin’s darkness in us. At that point, we must choose light over darkness or be forever lost.

My hope is that you will pray this prayer with me! “Lord Jesus Christ, I come to you today in my human weakness, aware that any good thing in me is what you have created. There is no substance, no state of mind or conscience that transcends the work of the Holy Spirit in me. I  yield myself to the work of Your Spirit. Take me, prepare me and use me. If there be any good thing in me, use it for your honor and glory. Jesus Christ be glorified in my life. I covenant with you to be what you desire me to be. I pray that my mind would be as the Mind of Christ, that my mouth would speak the Words of Christ, my hands would practice the Deeds of Christ and that my feet would take me into the Way of Christ. Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. May I ever walk in your Word. Lord Jesus, have mercy upon me and my house. I am forever Yours. Be glorified in me! In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

If you prayed this prayer along with me, your failures are in your past. Repentance and submission are in your present. Triumph and victory are in your future! Praise be to the Lamb of God who was slain that by His blood we are washed clean! Light Or Darkness?

Prayer For Today! by Myra Boozer

Father God, send your Light that we may walk in it.

Send your Truth that we may proclaim it from the rooftop.

Send your Power that all may see your Glory.

Send your Love that we may be refreshed, renewed, and redeemed.

Send your Mercy that we may be rescued from the evil one.

Send your Holiness that we may we washed clean.

Send your Deliverance that we may go free.

Send your Freedom that all will rejoice and dance in the streets.

Send your Son that we may be taken away in the twinkling of an eye...to be where He is, forevermore...Amen!

"Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace." Luke 1:78-79

Be Full Of The Holy Ghost!

Acts 9:17, “And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.”

The period of time that is just ahead will challenge our faith, our determination and our spiritual tenacity. Our mission is to publish the Gospel in all the world. That mission will be successful collectively as the Church. God has made provision and guaranteed that Jesus’ commission, that the Church go into all the world and preach the Gospel will absolutely be achieved.

However, if we are to enjoy success in our quest to fulfill God’s plan in our individual lives, we must be full of the Holy Ghost. The message of the Gospel will continue to be met with increasing resistance and opposition from the powers of darkness. The enemy is pulling out all stops, unleashing inconceivable wickedness, perverseness, and unholy terror in all the world. The buffer and the counter balance to this onslaught of darkness and horror, is the power of the indwelling Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit. Be filled with the Holy Spirit!

Jesus warned His disciples about what was ahead of them. But, He made provision to empower them for the task ahead of them. John the Baptist testified of the baptism of the Holy Ghost which would come after him and by Jesus Christ. Mark 1:7, “...There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. 8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.” Jesus verified this promise in Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” The promise was fulfilled in Acts 2:4, “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

Jesus’ promise in Acts 1:8 was not only for the 1st Century believers but is for the Body of Christ today. His promise extends to our time and to the consummation of all things. The power of the Holy Spirit will complete the mission Jesus Christ began and whosoever will receive His message will be saved.

We must take courage and draw our strength from the Holy Spirit as He indwells us. If we ask in faith the Father will strengthen us in the power of His Spirit. He will give us the power to face the enemy of our souls with faith and determination to see the restoration of His power in the churches. We must pray that He will create a hunger in each of us for a renewal of Pentecost in our congregations. I pray that God will make us hungry for Pentecostal restoration that will change our families, move our communities and affect entire nations. We desperately need God’s intervention. May we be able to pray, “I desire Your intervention, Oh God, have mercy upon us!” Be Full Of The Holy Ghost!

Are You In A Mess Today? by Myra Boozer

Well, God can turn that mess into a great MESSAGE, a message of deliverance! God does NOT always change your circumstance but He can change YOU from the inside out. He can deliver you from your old self and make you a new creature in Him, one full of renewed HOPE and LIFE EVERLASTING.

God can change your heart, your thoughts, your desires, and your goals in life. He is a miracle-working God. He is a God of TRANSFORMATION. God can bring you out of the rubble and do a complete makeover giving you the freedom you've never known. Real Freedom is the freedom you find in Christ Jesus. He can set your soul "FREE" even behind prison bars. You can be free even in the midst of persecution...Free in the midst of cancer...Free in the midst of poverty...Free in the midst of a bad marriage...Free in the midst of all hell coming against you.

THERE IS TRULY FREEDOM IN CHRIST JESUS. Psalms 91 is our "go-to chapter." Run to these great promises every day. They will bring you great HOPE and COMFORT. Psalms 91: 4, "He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler." He who redeems you will keep you. Psalms 91:15, "He shall call upon me and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will DELIVER him and HONOR him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my SALVATION." Allow Jesus Christ to deliver You from your Mess Today!

Will You Hear His Voice?

Revelation 2:7, “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”

God wants to prepare us for what is just ahead but many cannot hear. Why can they not hear? They hear the words, only the words! The Gospel is being preached! The Holy Ghost is warning of end-time events! But they are listening with their ears. In Mark 8:18 Jesus said, they have eyes to see but cannot see, they have ears to hear but cannot hear. Just as that generation who heard the message of Jesus, rejected the truth of the Gospel, there are many who will hear this message and reject it. What happened to that generation? They missed their opportunity for salvation and deliverance by their Messiah because their religion closed their spiritual eyes and ears. I fear that there are some today who will miss this great opportunity to see the unrestrained revelation of the rapturing Jesus because their religion has closed their eyes and ears to the Truth. Jesus is coming soon.  Are you ready? Are you ready to receive the Truth? Get ready and stay ready!

“Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, I ask YOU to prepare our hearts to receive what YOU have prepared for us in this hour. I ask that YOU remove any obstruction that would prevent us from receiving YOUR Revelation. Take this fresh lump of clay and begin to fashion anew the vessel of YOUR desire in us.”

Mercy And Truth Meet Together! by Myra Boozer

Psalm 85:10, “Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.”

“Mercy and Truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other" is one of my favorite scriptures. You know, Truth is so strong and forceful it stands tall but without mercy it cannot make its way into the heart of man. They go hand in hand and that, my friend, is because of Jesus.

Righteousness (right living) is so hard for many of us. We try to do good and be acceptable in the eyes of God. We all come up short because our goodness is nothing. It is His power that dwells in us. That only comes because of Jesus and I say, "teach me your ways O Lord." Pick me up and put me back on that straight path. When He does, it isn't always pleasant, but usually after tears of repentance “Peace will come so sweetly and Kiss Righteousness.” Peace can't be bought with money or bartered in any way. It only comes when we yield everything over to the Prince of Peace and fully rely on Him.

He is so worthy of our praise! I love you Lord! I treasure your presence that comes down like a dove when my heart is overwhelmed. When those in need come knocking on our door for help, we know who to call on. You are our very present help in time of need and people know that You dwell in this house, our Spiritual house and physical house. You are here with us. We acknowledge that it is by Your great power that we can help others. Lord, You can do what no other can do and your presence brings Mercy and Truth every time.

The Gospel Of Jesus Christ Is Your Answer!

2 Cor. 6:2, “...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

The Message Bible states it this way, “Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped.” The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to the needs in every person’s life. All men need to hear and respond to the message of redemption and freedom in Christ. The message of Jesus Christ is the light of pure redemption shining forth in a world filled with darkness.

This is the Message of deliverance for all who will believe! All repented sin is forgiven in the Gospel! All human weakness is given strength in the Gospel! All chains of bondage are broken in the Gospel! All the poor receive the Good News in the Gospel! All the broken hearts are healed in the Gospel! All the captives are delivered in the Gospel! All the blind receive their sight in the Gospel! All the bruised are given liberty in the Gospel! All the burdened and battered are set free in the Gospel! The Gospel is the Good News of the delivering power of Jesus Christ through His shed blood. Jesus became the sacrifice for the sins of all man kind. Through His sacrifice we are delivered from sin and sin’s punishment.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to every need in our lives! He issues our invitation in Matt. 11:28, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

“Are you tired of chasing pretty rainbows? Are you tired of spinning round and round? Wrap up all the shattered dreams of your life, at the feet of Jesus lay them down. Give them all, give them all, give them all to Jesus, shattered dreams, wounded hearts and broken toys. Give them all, give them all, give them all to Jesus, He will turn your sorrow into Joy.” The Gospel Of Jesus Christ Is Your Answer! www.youtube.com/watch?v=izYoI1oBdEg

Behold The Lamb Of God! by Myra Boozer

What kind of stir do you think happened in the area of Galilee when someone yelled, "Jesus is Coming!...I just saw him, He is headed this way...Hurry, lets go and see this man that people are talking about."

I can IMAGINE, a Mother with a sick baby. Maybe it has been fretful for several days but now she feels the intense heat of its little body upon her chest. She has the baby tied in a sling around her waist and knows the chores she has been doing will have to wait. Dinner will be delayed for Jesus is coming...

I can imagine her scurrying around to make her home safe so she could leave and follow the crowd. I can feel the rush of her heartbeat as she thought...”today, I will see Jesus and He will heal my baby!” No more fear, no more anxiety over her now lifeless little one...”Today my baby will be healed!"

Because of her faith and her persistence, she set out to push her way through the now seemingly impossible gathering of people. You see, she was not the only one who believed. She and many others heard about the miracles...the lame walking, the blind seeing, the little girl raised from the dead...even the grieving Mother given back her son as Jesus passed them in the funeral procession. Yes! She knew what He could do and she had to make her way to Him regardless of the effort it took. Her baby’s life depended on it.

Are you in need of a miracle in your life or in the life of someone you know? What are you willing to do to reach Jesus? It could mean breaking free from everything that holds you captive. Getting desperate and strong in determination to go the distance. It could mean pushing through the crowd to touch Jesus, the one who can change your life or someone you love and bring hope to the hopeless situation. Jesus is the giver of life...the Great I am...the one who will take time to stop and HEAL YOU...Behold The Lamb Of God!

Where Do We Go From Here?

Jeremiah 8:20, “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.”

Jeremiah lamented the future state of Judah! He saw through the prophetic that they would languish in sorrow as a people who had failed to reap the spring or summer harvest. God had presented them with the opportunity to repent and return to His provision but they insisted upon holding to their false gods. They had to make a decision and that decision would determine their future.

Much in the same way, I lament the future state our nation and our world seeing that mankind as a whole has refused the gift of grace in Jesus Christ. What does the immediate future hold for the world, our nation, the Church and each individual? God alone knows what is ahead and only He can position us where we really need to be. However, we must come to Him now in repentance and submit our will to His.

Where Do We Go From Here? The choices and decisions we make now, will determine where we go in the coming days and the impact we will have on the world around us. “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” John 4:35

In The Time Of A Storm! Conclusion by Myra Boozer

(for part 1 see 3/3/24)

Going through a storm is never comfortable or something we welcome but it has its rewards. Yes, you will come out stronger than when you went into the horrible situation. You will know how to pray more than you've ever prayed. You will understand God’s ways are not our ways but they are for our good. You will have more peace than before because you understand that contentment doesn't come from good circumstances or possessions but from having a pure relationship with the Lord. You will realize that you’re no longer burdened with having to figure out all the details of your life. He does that for you. You learn that joy does not come from feeling happy about situations but by knowing that all is well with your soul.

The small wonders of His great creation will make you smile and rejoice in knowing He made everything with a purpose, a plan that includes you. You will learn how amazing God really is!  He can take nothing and make something. Remember, He SPOKE this whole universe into existence. He makes the sun to shine and the world to rotate on its axis. He is ever mindful of YOU, one of His greatest creations. “TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL THINE HEART; AND LEAN NOT UNTO THINE OWN UNDERSTANDING. IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS,” Proverbs 3:6-7. A promise to never forget, especially In The Time Of A Storm!

Peace And Freedom In The Holy Ghost!

John 14:16, “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”

John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

As individuals in the Body of Christ, we need to recognize and embrace the work of the Holy Ghost. He is now, and will be in the time ahead of us, an indispensable confidant. The power of Christ through the Holy Ghost is essential to our success individually and as the Body of Christ. We need to experience Him in the same way that we read about in the book of Acts. The same Holy Ghost that empowered the first-century Church to turn the world upside down.

We can walk in the unabated freedom of the Holy Ghost! Unabated means “continuing at full strength or force without becoming weaker, being at full strength or force.” The power of the Holy Ghost will never diminish and we will require His full authority, presence, and perspective at every moment of this journey. We dare not proceed without being fully immersed in His person and baptized in the power of His presence. His guidance is essential! The choices and decisions ahead will be difficult. Not difficult to make but difficult in the sense of their consequences. A step forward without the absolute wisdom and guidance of the Holy Ghost could put us on a path of irreparable error. At the very least, choices made without His full assurance will cause unnecessary sorrow and suffering. The road back is always burdensome.

The storms of darkness will rage against the souls of light. Jesus Christ is fully aware when the storms come. He is with us in the person of the Holy Ghost, therefore, the storms will respond to His voice. He is the Master of ALL! When the storms of life are raging, He will stand by me. At the mere utterance of His command, the winds cease and there is peace.

Psalm 31:19, “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! 20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.”

I must run to my hiding place, my refuge from the storm. My soul craves the quietness there. In the stillness, I find peace and rest. He lifts me above this world's raging sea. He quiets the winds and calms the blustery waves. He commands “peace, be still” and the wholeness of my life returns. I find peace and freedom in the presence of His Spirit!

In The Time Of A Storm! by Myra Boozer

Are you in the midst of a trial and you feel you are headed directly into a life threatening storm? Do you feel that your world is about to fall apart and you have no idea where you're going to land? Has your foundation been shaken by the enemy and your life seems to be twirling in the air headed to the land of sorrow?

Many people are in circumstances that make them feel helpless and hopeless. They don't know who to trust, who to call or who they can depend on to lend a helping hand. They are struggling with so much fear and anxiety for what their future may hold.

Sometimes things happen overnight and we feel stunned by the changes that are inevitably on their way. Things are changing all over the world with governments, health care, employment, sickness, marriages and a great moral decline making people fear for the lives of their families. But, we must remember God never Changes!

Sometimes people lose everything they own and have to start over from the beginning. God has promised He would make a way for us. He has invited us to call on Him and to trust in His ability to take care of us. He has told us He would never leave us or forsake us no matter how fierce our storm may become.

We must stand on His Word...His Promises...His Truth. His Wisdom is from everlasting to everlasting. He is not a man that He should lie. What He promises He will perform. (continued)

What Would Jesus Do? Conclusion

(for part 1 see 2/29/24)

What a difference the presence of the Holy Spirit makes in this spiritual conflict. He is empowering us to take back what the enemy has stolen from us. Satan has stolen the future of our priceless treasures, our heritage, our progeny and holds them before us taunting us as one might taunt a caged animal. But we must be determined not to be bound by him. By the power (dunamis - ability/can) of the Holy Spirit (pneuma – the breath of God) we are loosed and walk in freedom. Acts 2:2, “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” By the power of Almighty God the door of the prison explodes and we are FREE, FREE to bombard the gates of hell and take back ALL Satan has stolen.

We are free so that we can lead others free. Jesus came to set the captives free. As His Holy Spirit indwells us, we are free to be the visible evidence of the delivering power of God. We are free to be the God living, God breathing, miraculous working possession of God. We belong to Him. There is no power of hell that can defeat a Spirit-filled child of God. We are free in God to restore what the enemy has stolen.

What Would Jesus Do? He would do the very same thing now that He did then! Let Him do it through YOU!
