The
promise of resurrection power is valid and secure because Jesus
insured that promise through the gift of His resurrection. He led the
way before us and came forth from the grave exercising power over
death, hell, and the grave. The way has been prepared for all who will
look to Jesus and believe that the same Spirit that raised Him will
also raise every believer.

Cor. 15:50, “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot
inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit
incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all
sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling
of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the
dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For
this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put
on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on
incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then
shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is
swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave,
where is thy victory?”
We can embrace the power of His
Resurrection. We can receive His Promise by His example and proceed
with full assurance. When He comes, “the dead in Christ shall rise
first...then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so
shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1Thess. 4:16-17.
