You Jesus Are My Perfect Rest! by Myra Boozer

Today I am thankful for Rest! God created the world, but on the 7th day He rested and set aside a day of rest for His people. I hope that doesn't change, given the many changes happening now. But even greater than our physical rest, there is a rest that every believer can enter no matter what our problems may be.

When we are overcome by unexpected pain or trouble, we tend to get stressed, even for a moment, and sometimes "really upset." Becoming more worried and distressed to the point of getting sick over a matter. BUT, when we can just step back and REMEMBER "who" is in control, everything can change because God has rest for us. Rest from anything or anyone who might cause us grief or heartache.

In Christ, we lay back in His arms of great mercy and know that He is taking care of us. This is absolutely the very best rest you will ever find. When you lay it all down at His feet, as a little child, you're allowing Him to give you the love and comfort that only He can give. Thank you, Lord, that I have learned to trust you! Lord, help me to keep learning from you. You are my rest no matter the day of the week. My perfect rest is in you and through you.

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 6-7

Our Help Will Come From The Lord! Conclusion

(For part 1, see 9/2/26)

The Holy Spirit is calling, “Come wrap yourself in the power of His presence and allow Him to perform in you His glorious works!” I am weak, but He is strong. If we allow Him to fully control our lives, we are made strong in our weakness because our weakness is God's strength. There is no enemy that can stand against Him; there is no foe that He cannot overcome. There is no fortress that can withstand Him and no opposition that He cannot vanquish. Come, come to Him now and allow him to wrap you in His mantle of authority and shelter you from the storms ahead.

I hear the rumbling in the distance, the sound of a mighty army moving into position. It is a well-prepared force; each warrior is in his place and prepared to do his duty. There is no fear in their number because they have been washed clean. Though their sins were as crimson, their raiment is white as snow. And there is one with them whose eyes are a flaming fire, and He is clothed with a vesture dipped in blood. His name is the Word of God! Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword to smite the nations and rule them with the rod of Truth, and He tramples the wine-press of the wrath of Almighty God. He has on His garment and on His thigh written the name, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. At His appearing every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that JESUS IS LORD.

Today, we stand at a pivotal point in the history of this world. We are at the jumping off place! We can either turn and run into the mercy and grace of God or continue down this evil and disobedient road right into the plans that Satan has for us and those who follow along with us. Those plans are for our eternal destruction. Those plans will lead to a world ruled by the Prince of Darkness as he unleashes the demons and devils of hell to do his disastrous work. Turn while you have the opportunity. That door is already closing! How much more time do we have?

Time To Make A Change! by Myra Boozer

Jesus spoke openly to the world, in the synagogues, the temple, on the mountain, on the riverbanks, at the well, or in a home, wherever there was a need. He spoke to the known world during His thirty-three years on earth, especially the last three years. He spoke with boldness and authority given to Him by His Father. The call was given, and many followed Him, although Jesus pointed out those who outwardly appeared righteous to men but were full of hypocrisy and iniquity within. Those kinds of people were going about as usual, causing division and opposing the Truth of God's Word, and it is still happening today. People who have their eyes on other people instead of the Lord will be hindered and sometimes throw in the towel. That is not an excuse for not following the Lord, but many use it.

Today many hearts are closed with "Do not disturb signs" when it comes to receiving God's Word. It appears many are driven by society to deny that God even exists. Many are stubborn and rebellious, rejecting the Holy Bible as the Word of God, denying that it is written by men as they were inspired by the Holy Ghost. Many are skeptics, doubting the virgin birth of Jesus and doubting that He arose from the dead. Others may say they believe; they just have no "POWER" to live a life of submission to the Lord. This is a reproach to the Name of Christ.

This world is getting further and further from the Truth of God's Word. The time is urgent for those who know anything about the Lord Jesus Christ to make a strong commitment. It is time to make an altar and carry everything to the Lord. If you feel you have been playing church, it is time to get serious. If you have been calling on the Lord only during 911 situations, it is time to refocus and rededicate your life. If you have put Jesus Christ on a shelf and just pull Him down when someone else is talking about Him, it is time to make a change.

Jesus is getting ready to split the Eastern Sky, to take His children home. He is coming for those that are looking for Him. He wants to be your constant friend, one who walks with you and talks with you. He wants to carry your burdens and lift you above the turmoil of this wicked world. He wants to set you free from the bonds of religion and have a personal relationship with you. Matt. 10:37, “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” Time To Make A Change!

Our Help Will Come From The Lord!

Psalm 121:1, “…I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”

We are where we are today because the whole of mankind has turned away from the influence of God in their lives. Therefore, the attributes of God that He would show forth in their lives are absent. Until there is a change of heart, lives will not change! The consequences are that we are doomed to repeat the failures of the past. We need help, the help and intervention that only God can give!

Go back to the beginning! God is the beginning, and in Him we live, move, and have our being. He is the beginning, the beginning of time, the beginning of creation, the beginning of life, the beginning of man, the beginning of love, etc. James 1:16, “Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. 18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” In this chapter, James is addressing the mortal weakness of man and his propensity to sin. And right in the middle, he plants this golden nugget. Sure, there is imperfection all around us, but our life comes from above, from the Father of lights who never changes, and there is not even an allusion to His changing. He is always the same, consistent, loving, compassionate, powerful, delivering, victorious Father.

In the beginning, God! God is pulling us back to Himself as in 1 John 1:1, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;” He has been with us from the beginning of this journey and He wants us to understand that it is through Him that we will finish. There is no other power, presence, or virtue sufficient to complete our assignment. He will magnify our efforts and ministry as He receives the honor and glory for the results. (continued)

How Long Will God Continued? by Myra Boozer

How long will God continue in His mercy and give this country time to Repent? How long will He wait? We do not know! He has given individuals time to fall before Him in repentance for their sins. But for a Nation to go against His laws and commands is a different story. I feel judgment is coming on America for all the sin that is parading around as something good when it is an abomination! Not only in this country, but other countries are defying the laws of God. God will not wait long! He will do as He has done in the past. I think JUDGMENT will come quickly.

Some may go through the fire and call upon His Name, being purified by the fire. Others will continue in sin and will regret that they have NOT taken the time to repent when the Spirit was pleading and convicting their hearts.

Many Christians, saints of God, are giving their lives today and suffering much persecution because they have not denied the Name of Christ. Then there is the rest of the living righteous, the blood-bought Church, the Body of Christ, who has made herself ready. She will be taken in a moment and twinkling of an eye to meet the Bridegroom.

There were seven Churches of Asia that are written about in the first three chapters of Revelation. Jesus named the things that He had against six of the churches and asked them to repent. He was telling them to listen to what the SPIRIT HAD TO SAY TO THEM, BUT NOTICE the Church in Philadelphia. He said in Rev. 3:8, “I know thy works: behold I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, (his), and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation...” (2 Peter 2:9, “The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly, out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.”) Rev. 3:10b, “...which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 BEHOLD, I COME QUICKLY; hold fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.”

Notice Rev. 4....and see what John has to say about seeing the open door...saw the throne and the four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment (clothes) and had their crowns on their heads...the crown that Jesus said, "Let no man take thy crown." Praise the Lord! He is coming...BE READY for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man is coming...How Long Will God Continue?

How Can I Be Sure Of My Salvation?

There are not too many things in this world that a person can be sure of, and because of that, an attitude of skepticism and pessimism is prevalent. Governments are crumbling, economic systems are falling apart, and political systems are failing.

This skepticism and pessimism must not prevail in the life of a Christian. A skeptic is a doubter, and a pessimist always expects the worst. These behavioral traits can drive a person’s life and are the opposite of faith and trust. God is still in control. He has not relinquished any of His power or authority to any other entity. His plan is still on schedule and will not be delayed by the disobedience of mankind. If anything, the sin and degradation of man will hasten the judgment of God. He is presently working all things for His Divine Purpose. We can rejoice in His calm assurance if we have put our faith and trust in Him.

How can we live a calm and assured life when our world and everything in it is falling apart? Paul gives us some insight in his first letter to Timothy. 1 Timothy 2:1, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time...8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.”

Paul’s exhortation to Timothy and to us is to pray and intercede before God for all men, “that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.” Live right before God and pray in faith, believing that God is still in control. If we know Jesus Christ, we can be sure of our salvation through Him. God says so in His Word, and He cannot lie!

Our salvation by faith in the blood of Jesus is not based upon shaky or unreliable evidence. 1John 9:5, “If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. 10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” There is the witness of man, and there is the witness of God. God says that He has provided us eternal life through His Son Jesus. The witness of God is greater!

The new birth opens within us a new awareness of the Spirit. There is peace and love that fills our hearts that only comes from God. We have new desires, new ambitions, and a new outlook on life. Thank God for that inward witness! Receive His promise, live in His provision, and Be Sure Of Your Salvation!

Your Light, Lord! by Myra Boozer

YOUR LIGHT...

Lord, I get lost without your light shining on my path.

I find I am alone and hopeless, fearful and afraid.

Your Light reveals my great need of you.

It warms my heart and fills my soul.

It opens my eyes and helps me see clearly.

It captures my interest and floods my mind.

It settles all my concerns and comforts my anxiety.

It rolls my cares right off my back.

It thrills my heart and causes me to rejoice.

It opens my mouth to sing your praise.

It drives me onward to face the new day

with peace, hope and love.

So I mount up, as with eagle's wings...

And I soar, Yes I Soar... Because of your great Light!

The LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1. Allow His Light to invade your world. He will change your heart and bring HOPE into your circumstance...Making your deepest and darkest days be filled with the Light of His Resurrection Power...Revealing His abundant love for you and your family...There is a Light that forever shines...That Light brings deliverance from all the darkness and sets you in a position of high ascent...You are no longer a slave to sin but adopted into the Royal Family of God...forever and ever. Amen!

Light In The Darkness!

In Acts 13 we read about the beginning of Paul’s missionary ministry. The leading and anointing of the Holy Ghost was an integral part of Paul’s ministry and gave him the advantage of discerning Light from Darkness. Acts 13:2, “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. 4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.” Notice that the Holy Ghost made the selection and gave the assignment. We must lay our plans aside and petition God to make us part of His Plan.

They preached the Word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. A certain deputy of the country called for Paul and Barnabas, desiring to hear the Word of God. A certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-Jesus, opposed them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Acts 13:9, “Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, 10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? 11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. 12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.” The reality of this passage is that those who oppose Jesus Christ really do walk in darkness. The decree of the Holy Ghost brought to fruition the physical reality that the sorcerer was truly walking in spiritual darkness.

The Holy Spirit discerned the “darkness” and called it out. In the power of the Spirit, the darkness was defined and confined. The Bible makes no further mention of Bar-Jesus. The lesson to be learned here is that the judgment of God is sure and final. This was God’s Plan! The Holy Ghost did the choosing and gave the assignment. Therefore, Paul’s mission was under the mantle of Christ and without limitation. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must walk in the Light as the Holy Ghost leads and move in the anointing of His assignment. He will discern the Darkness, Define and Confine. By the power of the Spirit, the power of darkness will be revealed and deposed! By the Holy Ghost, we will discern Light from the darkness as He reveals Light In The Darkness!

Lord, Deliver Us From Evil! by Myra Boozer

Dear Lord, I ask that YOU help all Christians to stand strong against the evil in our world. Help us to not be shaken by what is coming and already here. We desire that nothing hinder us as we seek YOU.

May we trust YOU in these evil days. We desire to stand in the power of YOUR might against the enemy of our soul and the souls of our families. Lord, may we receive wisdom to know how to share YOUR Gospel Message effectively.

Evil is on every hand, trying to destroy every good work, especially the work of the righteous. Lord, may we seek to be filled and overflowing with YOUR Spirit so that no evil spirit can enter our hearts.

We must rise up as Daniel and proclaim YOUR Word because it is power unto salvation. God, Your Word tells us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We stand on that truth! It tells us that we are made overcomers by YOUR blood and the word of our testimony.

We proclaim YOUR Word is truth! We cast our cares on YOU and delight ourselves in YOU. May faith continue to arise in our hearts as we send praises to YOUR throne. Deliver Us From Evil, for thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory...Forever...Amen!

Lord Jesus, We Are Desperate For You!

Lord Jesus Christ, we, the Body of Christ, need You today in a most desperate way. We need You to unlock our consciousness and pour into us Your inspiration and revelation. Lord, take charge of Your Church and fulfill Your mission in us!

Lord, I desperately need You! I so desire to hear Your consoling words and have them take root in my heart. Come, Lord Jesus, and raise this mortal soul into Your heavenly realm. Just give me a glimpse, I pray, of what is before us. I do not question Your ways but submit totally to Your leading. Help me to walk in unreserved obedience and baptize me afresh in Your love and compassion. Almighty God, seize my soul in Your embrace to walk in intimate relationship and companionship. Bear me up on Your wings. Empower me to soar above this world and all its problems. Help me to see only what You desire to reveal.

Lord, I hunger and thirst for Your constant presence in my life. It is not sufficient to only meet with You on religious occasions. I must know that I am going where You are going, doing what You are doing, and a part of Your grand endeavors in and through the Body of Christ. Take me, take me now where it is just You and me. Put within me all that I need to complete our journey here! In Jesus’ name! Amen. We Are Desperate For You! Jesus Christ is our living hope!

Now Is Come Salvation, Strength And The Kingdom Of God! by Myra Boozer

Revelation 12:10, “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

Will you be in that number? The number of Believers...the number of those who will overcome? Will you allow God to break everything unlike Him off your life? Will you allow every stronghold to crumble and fall at His feet? Will you surrender to His Voice as He calls for you to daily take up His cross?

Will you be in that number? The number of Believers...the number of those who will overcome? Will you listen to His Direction? Will you follow as He Commands? Will you wash your robes in righteousness and be ready for His Coming? His Coming is at hand! Will you be used in His perfect plan and Reign with Him in His Kingdom?

Then you must break loose from all the chains that bind you. You must seek a Power greater than yourself to deliver you from all the chains of addiction and distraction...to be set free for the awesome task of being the extension of His Arm of strength and deliverance. Be the extension of His loving heart...His kind and gentle spirit...His meek and lowly ways...His patience, slow to anger...His forgiving and accepting ways for those who ask forgiveness and even those who don't. Be the extension of His Righteous Judgment to bring counsel to those who have questions...

Can you be of good Courage even in your Garden of Gethsemane? Be strong in this Day of Adversity...be not puffed up with pride and conceit when His Blessings come down like rain. Love your enemies when they say all manner of evil against you. Know you are of the Royal Family, yet love and help those who are living in the gutters of despair.

Lord, we are ever pressing to be like you. We seek to have a broken and contrite heart, allowing you to count us worthy and add us to that number. The number of Believers, the number of those who will overcome, the number who will be like YOU!

Jude 1:20, “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. 24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”

Where Do We Go From Here?

Jeremiah 8:20, “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.”

Jeremiah lamented the future state of Judah! He saw through the prophetic that they would languish in sorrow as a people who had failed to reap the spring or summer harvest. God had given them the opportunity to repent and return to His provision, but they insisted on holding to their false gods. They had to make a decision, and that decision would determine their future.

Much in the same way, I lament the future state of our nation and our world, seeing that mankind as a whole has refused the gift of grace in Jesus Christ. What does the immediate future hold for us? God alone knows what is ahead, and only He can position us where we really need to be. However, we must come to Him now in repentance and submit our will to His.

Where Do We Go From Here? The choices and decisions we make now will determine where we go in the coming days and the impact we will have on the world around us. “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” John 4:35

The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness! by Myra Boozer

I love the mornings when I open my blinds and the sun comes pouring in. It just makes my day, and I rejoice in the warmth of God's love for all mankind. It is not only warm, but it is also beautiful and makes all things beautiful. Sometimes the clutter in my room doesn't look so challenging.

Lord, may we open the blinds of our heart and allow you to SHINE in our world. Darkness has hovered for a night, and the cries for help are getting louder. The lonely, the sick, the forsaken and forgotten cry out against the pit that has them bound. The prisoners held by sin cry out for freedom...Freedom to be forgiven, loved, and restored!

Who will open the blinds, Lord, and reveal the rays of Hope, the Light of Jesus that dispels the darkness? Who will ARISE and open the blinds, the shield that covers our windows? Lord, we have an opportunity NOW in this season to be that person who allows YOUR LIGHT to come forth. It will come with a sudden burst of great force when we allow Your Spirit to direct and strengthen us. I know only the strong will do this. Help us to be STRONG IN THE POWER OF YOUR MIGHT as we ARISE like a Warrior with the Helmet of Salvation, the Shield of Faith, and the Sword of the Spirit.

Help us, Lord, to equip ourselves with your Armor for the challenge before us...Our world is in great need of your LIGHT, the Light that dispels all darkness. Help us to be your hands reaching the lost and your feet to carry the "GOOD NEWS”...our mouths to speak Your Word, which is Truth...that it will set the captive free, heal the sick, and bind up the brokenhearted...Lord Jesus, help us, your Children, to Arise at your command...Amen!” The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness!

The Light Of His Presence!

Lord Jesus, thank you for the dawn of a new day. Now, it is time to turn to the task at hand. What do you have for your children today? What do you have that we should share with others? Lord, fill us with your WORD so that the overflow is charged with redemption and deliverance. Oh! Come, Holy Spirit of God, and inhabit every thought, word, and activity. Sanctify us afresh as the place of YOUR habitation. Purge from the very air around us the darkness that infiltrates our world and replace it with the light of YOUR PRESENCE. We feel the intensity of the battle. The Holy Spirit within continues to struggle with the arm of the flesh, for he is ever present. Lord Jesus Christ, help us to die once again that YOU may bring LIFE and more abundantly. Help us to say with Paul the apostle that it is not me that possesses this mortal body, but it is YOU who lives here.

Your reign in our life will affect the world around us for YOUR PURPOSE. We invite you to rule the environment around us. “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Come Lord, take control; lead us to the completion of our assignment here. We must share YOUR message with all men. All must have the privilege to escape the darkness. Send forth YOUR light through the WORD of your mouth, penetrate and dispel the gross darkness that has invaded our land. Release YOUR Holy Spirit fire to burn away the obstructions that hold fast the lost souls of men. Set the Body of Christ ablaze, that we burn so intensely that conviction and repentance are the result. May the light of your glory be reflected in our faces, in our walk, and in our message. All to the HONOR and PURPOSE of God. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! Amen

He (Jesus ) Is More Than Enough! by Myra Boozer

John 14:13, “Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.“ That speaks to me about a life without want. Remember, ‘The Lord is MY Shepherd, I shall not want...’ the broader meaning, not lacking, not deficient in proper care, management, or husbandry. But a second emphasis is the idea of being utterly contented in the Good Shepherd's care and consequently not craving or desiring anything more," taken from A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23 by Phillip Keller.

As I have been reading in the Book of Mark about Jesus, the disciples, and the multitudes, I honed in on a question Jesus asked the disciples as they departed in a ship to the "other side," away from the crowds. As they left, the disciples realized they only had one loaf of bread on the entire ship, a real dilemma for hungry men. This is what Jesus had to say about their reasoning over such a small amount of bread. Mark 8:17-18, "...Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? Perceive ye not yet, neither understand? Have ye your heart yet hardened? Having eyes, see ye not? And having ears, hear ye not? AND DO YE NOT REMEMBER? When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many BASKETS FULL of fragments took ye up? They said unto him TWELVE. And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said SEVEN, and he said unto them, HOW IS IT THAT YE DO NOT UNDERSTAND?"

When we have Jesus in our lives, we are covered at all times. He has provision that is MORE THAN ENOUGH! Now these guys are talking about a loaf of bread, not a Banquet. Many may feel that God lets them down or doesn't provide because they do not receive a "Lobster Fest" on a Cruise Ship.

I found this statement a while ago..."God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him." When the desires of this world can fade away like a fog lifting off the valley, I believe that we find a new perspective about life, love, and our relationship with others, especially God. He just fills our every longing and desire. We are no longer pushed and pressured into needing anything except Him and His presence. It is no longer about me and what I must attain or receive from this world. He becomes my focus. He brings my life to the fullest, and my heart can sing in the midst of chaos, because I know He Is More Than Enough for today, tomorrow, and forever...and He always has leftovers...His storehouse is FULL...

It Is Time!

Many voices in the Church are calling the Body of Christ to Prayer. Today, we stand at the door of one of the greatest times in human history. We dare not move forward without full understanding of the gravity of our response to the call of God and the effect of that response upon ourselves and all that our lives might touch. Our future will be defined by what we do in this moment of our choice.

Many have already been praying! Those prayers have brought us to where we are now. But we can't stop the prayer meetings. After 9/11, we had an opportunity to seek God and turn this nation around. But the praying didn't last. After only a few weeks, we drifted back to business as usual. We cannot afford to take for granted the opportunity God is giving us. This is our last chance as a nation. Pray, Church! Pray like our lives depend on it. Because they do!

Can we pray? Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, we do here and now accept your challenge to pray in travailing prayer for our world that is lost and broken. We desire the Spirit of prayer to intercede. Open our spiritual eyes and ears so we can see and hear the cries of the lost, the beaten, the debilitated. Teach us to understand what they are facing. Guide us to see and hear them as you do. Give us the compassion and love that you have for them so that we are inspired to join in their redemption. Lift us up in the power of Your Word, fully dressed in faith to lead the captives free. Anoint us with Your power that we may speak to the mountains before us and they will be moved into the sea. Let us see the prison doors spring open at the mighty thrust of Your Presence. Help us to run into the battle with such passion that others are seized with the same fervor. I can hear the sound of mighty armies engaged on the battlefield. Can we pray? It Is Time!

Treasures Of The Heart! by Myra Boozer

Proverbs 2:1, “My son, (or daughter) if you will receive my words and treasure my commandments within you, 2 Make your ear attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding; 3 For if you cry for discernment, lift your voice for understanding; 4 If you seek her as silver and search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will discern the fear of the LORD and discover the knowledge of God.” NASB

The things that I love and hold dear to my heart are just borrowed; they're not mine at all... Jesus only let me use them to brighten my life...So remind me, remind me, dear Lord. The words of an old song hold true today. I have loved and held many things close to my heart. I have had so many blessings and material goods. No, I am not wealthy compared to some. But compared to others, I am. I have had my share of the comforts of life, not extravagant things but enjoyable things. Some have been very useful, some just pretty to look at, and some just plain and simple little treasures. But things are just that; they are “Things.” Things can be replaced if lost or stolen. They are disposable and transferable. They are things.

Sometimes things get in the way of what is important. They can become too meaningful and take our time and energy away from what really counts. I am learning to lay them down. Day by day, they are losing their value to me. I have been letting them go from my heart for some time now because I will not take them with me. They have served their purpose thus far, and I am very thankful for all I have been given to enjoy along the way.

I have always tried to keep my head straight as to how I spend our money. I have tried to be saving and practical; you know, the bargain hunter kind of person. But even at a bargain, the “things” you have can become a part of you. You become familiar with them, and they sometimes become “treasures.” They may not be worth much to anyone else but you. They are special to you.

Well, I have had lots of those special things hidden away in old hat boxes or the dresser drawers and in closets, even under the beds. Things I have saved from our only little boy: baby clothes, little cars, and things he saved through the years. Things that make you smile, like a costume I made him for his 1st grade play, pictures he drew of his house, family, and the neighbor's dog. The dog stayed at our house because he loved it so much. You know, “treasures” that I don’t plan on throwing out, but my heart is letting go.

I think I understand the purpose is for letting go. It isn’t wrong to have things, but it is wrong for things to have us. When what we have and what we do is all about things, and we just want to live on and on so we can secure and protect our treasures. We need to release them! There are no U-Hauls going to heaven. I don’t want the tears that are wiped away from my eyes to be about the “things” I have accumulated. I will leave all that behind.

1 John 2:15, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world...” I am letting go! The greatest treasures I have are My precious Family, My Relationship with the Lord, and My Understanding of His Word. I celebrate the fact that He died, that I might live, and that has nothing to do with “things.” That is my greatest treasure! And that, my friend, I must hold on to forever and NEVER LET GO. “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also,” Matt. 6:21.

The Dreams Of Life Refocused! Conclusion

(For part 1, see 8/25/26)

We must plan for the present with the end in view. We set our goals in life always thinking of tomorrow or later. I realize that there are things in life for which you must plan. It is best to prepare for college and career, marriage and family, retirement, and final things. But it is so very important to keep the finish in mind, always! A correct understanding of the final things in one's life will keep everything else in proper focus. Then we understand that our vision of the finish will determine how we respond to every relationship in life. No matter what decision or choice we may face, the final things will bring a correct perspective to the matter. Ecc. 12:13, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”

Therefore, life's choices are governed by our vision of final things. We realize that we live our lives in the present tense. We are planning for tomorrow by the way we live today. That will not only affect our lives but also those who have been given into our care and those who share our sphere of influence on this journey.

Now, getting back to my little gray squirrel (see post for 8/25/26). His creator has given him an innate sense to gather and store provisions. I am sure that what appeared to me to be a frantic search was normal for him. That's the way squirrels are because God created them that way. You and I are created to live on a much higher plane. If God gives an animal an innate sense of provision for his life, God has done so much more for us. The problem comes when we fail to communicate with Him. My little squirrel has an automatic system built into his consciousness for his provision. We are created higher than any other creature in God's creation. We were made for relationship with God and each other. Our relationship requires communication. If we fail to communicate with God, we cannot receive instruction for our provision.

If we are listening to God, He will instruct us in His plan for us today. He will help us to understand that we live His will today so that we are in His will tomorrow. If we follow Christ today, we have no need to worry about tomorrow. Our life and future are secure in the grace of Jesus Christ.

2 Tim. 4:7, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”

Time To Be Very Still! by Myra Boozer

Colossians 3:15, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also ye are called in one body, and be ye thankful."

(This was written some time ago but is very fitting for today.) For quite a while now, a big squirrel has perched right on the top point of the building out back. He looks like an ornament, really; he looks frozen, not moving except the wind blowing his fluffy tail. I wonder if he is angry about this weather, or maybe the stash he had for his family is depleted. I don't know; maybe he is confused by this weather. One moment the sky is sprinkling snow on us, just like you would sprinkle confectioner sugar on your French toast, then all of a sudden it stops and the sun shines so bright. You think, wow, is it over, then it starts up again. That's the way of confusion, and it's something we all have at times. It is hard to deal with when your prayers are still not heard, and your heart is breaking for your loved ones. You began to question God, “Why the delay?”

This is the time to be very still and very quiet and just wait, just like the squirrel perched on the highest point. God can soothe all our frustrations and calm our minds. We can rest in His presence and know He loves us, but we must remember sometimes He allows us a little while of "feeling all alone and confused." Don't give up and don't complain. Rest in the fact that God has it all in His hands, and in His time He will make all things beautiful...with no confusion. He brings Peace and Joy that will overflow in our hearts and bring assurance in every situation. Time To Be Very Still!

The Dreams Of Life Refocused!

Matthew 16:26, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”

(I wrote this some time ago on a wet, dreary day, inspired by a little gray squirrel). As I sit looking out my window, I observe nature at work in my world. The rain is falling at a steady pace, and a gray squirrel is running from place to place, appearing to be searching for food he has stored. His work must continue whether sunshine or rain. No matter what the weather or circumstance, each day brings the same responsibility and need for provision and survival.

We have a lot in common with my little squirrel. We rush at a hurried pace from place to place, searching for whatever we perceive to be the needs of life. And we do that for the entirety of our lives. We rush through our childhood wishing that we were older so we can participate in the games of life. Whether it is to attain the age of 13 to be a teenager, or 16 to get a driver's license, on we go, experiencing the magic of age, graduating high school and maybe college.

We hurry through those magical years thinking that by “obtaining” our lives will be fulfilled. We find a mate, get married, and start a family. We are so very busy learning how to be a companion, parent, and provider, thinking that life will slow down at some point and we can begin to enjoy who we are and what we do. So, we rush through the early family years thinking that when the children get older, or we land that perfect job, or we achieve this, or that, all will be “better” and we can slow down and enjoy the life we have created.

And, before you know it, the children are all grown up, have chosen mates, and have started families of their own. Then we rush through the grandparent years, helping our children and grandchildren to do the same as we have done. We are rushing through time achieving, thinking all along this journey that at some point we are going to slow down and enjoy the life we have created for ourselves and our families. However, we must plan for the present with the end in view. (continued)

In The Morning Light! by Myra Boozer

In the morning light, things are so much clearer. I can see further than I expected. I see HOPE resting high upon the mountain, just waiting for me to come and save her from all the doubts that were lurking during the night. They are hiding under the rubble of yesterday's leftover trials and heartaches.

I can see her looking all radiant in the sunlight, where I couldn't see her at all in the midnight. She needs me to be her friend as she bids me come. But, more importantly, I need her. I could never face TODAY without HOPE.

With so much depression spreading over our world and people feeling helpless and hopeless, I pray they will look up and find HOPE in Jesus Christ. He is the answer to all our needs. He gives us the strength to press on even though the darkness comes and doubt is always hiding in the shadows.

HOPE remains steadfast! The secret is, “get up out of the rubble of despair and reach for her.” Yes, it takes effort, but your life is dependent upon YOU making the right choice. Hope isn't hiding from you! But you must look for her! In The Morning Light!

Where Else Could We Go?

John 6:63, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him...66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life.”

I begin each day with the purpose of fulfilling God’s will and executing His commission here. I am empty except for what God puts in me. There are no words except that God should speak and give them. There is no song unless He composes and sings the melody. Where can we go except to go to God and go with God? He is the one who gives purpose to our living! We are an empty hollow shell without His influence in every aspect of our lives.

Where Else Could We Go? Jesus is the one with the words of eternal life! Listen intently for His voice and follow Him to where He is leading! Where Else Could We Go? Only Jesus has the answer that fits absolutely the needs in our life!

In The Time Of A Storm! Conclusion by Myra Boozer

(For part 1, see 8/22/25)

Going through a storm is never comfortable or something we welcome, but it has its rewards. Yes, you will come out stronger than when you went into the horrible situation. You will know how to pray more than you've ever prayed. You will understand God’s ways are not our ways, but they are for our good. You will have more peace than before because you understand that contentment doesn't come from good circumstances or possessions but from having a pure relationship with the Lord. You will realize that you’re no longer burdened with having to figure out all the details of your life. He does that for you. You learn that joy does not come from feeling happy about situations but by knowing that all is well with your soul.

The small wonders of His great creation will make you smile and rejoice in knowing he made everything with a purpose, a plan that includes you. You will learn how amazing God really is! He can take nothing and make something. Remember, He SPOKE this whole universe into existence. He makes the sun shine, and the world rotate on its axis. He is ever mindful of YOU, one of His greatest creations. “TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL THINE HEART; AND LEAN NOT UNTO THINE OWN UNDERSTANDING. IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS,” Proverbs 3:5-6. A promise to never forget, especially In The Time Of A Storm!

The Lord Is My Rock, My Fortress, My Deliverer!

Psalm 18:2, “The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.”

Jesus Christ prepares the table before us in the presence of the enemy. We shall eat and drink from His table and prevail before our enemy. Jesus is our strength and our victory. He leads us beside the still waters and restores our soul. He is our source, our strength, our redeemer, and in Him we can trust today and every day as Christ Jesus, our Lord. Thank you, God, for the assurance that only you can give!

The Lord is our Salvation! He established His position in Gethsemane. He came to die, but all flesh is appointed to death. But in Gethsemane, Jesus submitted to death. He chose to die as the Son of man to prove that He is the Son of God. The fleshly man would die, but the Spirit man would live on.

That is what happens when we meet Jesus at the cross. We submit to death. We choose death to the fleshly man so the Spirit man can live on. But we must go through our Gethsemane to get there. We must come to the end of ourselves and allow Christ to take charge of our lives. We are literally consenting to the death of the flesh so that we can experience life in the Spirit through Christ. Gal. 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Jesus is, “...my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” The Lord Is Our Salvation!

In The Time Of A Storm! by Myra Boozer

Are you in the midst of a trial and feel like you're headed directly into a life-threatening storm? Do you feel that your world is about to fall apart and you have no idea where you're going to land? Has the enemy shaken your foundation, and does your life feel like it's twirling in the air, headed toward the land of sorrow?

Many people are in circumstances that make them feel helpless and hopeless. They don't know who to trust, who to call, or who they can depend on to lend a helping hand. They are struggling with so much fear and anxiety for what their future may hold.

Sometimes things happen overnight, and we feel stunned by the changes that are inevitably on their way. Things are changing all over the world with governments, health care, employment, sickness, marriages, and a great moral decline, making people fear for the lives of their families. But we must remember God never Changes!

Sometimes people lose everything they own and have to start over from the beginning. God has promised He would make a way for us. He has invited us to call on Him and to trust in His ability to take care of us. He has told us He would never leave us or forsake us, no matter how fierce our storm may become.

We must stand on His Word...His Promises...His Truth. His Wisdom is from everlasting to everlasting. He is not a man that He should lie. What He promises, He will perform. (continued)

God Fulfills His Promises!

Acts 27:27, “But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down...29Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day. 30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship, 31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved. 32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.” They had to remain in the ship and continue to have faith in the revelation that the Lord had given to Paul. God's plan of deliverance was to include the debris of the broken vessel, the vessel that had sustained them thus far. But they had to be willing to stay with the ship until it literally broke apart on the rocks. Those broken pieces became their salvation. When our circumstances are falling apart, we must stay true and obedient to God’s command in order to be saved.

Acts 27:33, “...Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. 34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you...36 Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat. 37 And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls. 38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.” The fast was concluded. They could take comfort that all would be saved, and they were all (276) of good cheer. They continued in faith and obedience as they threw everything overboard to lighten the ship. They had done what they knew to do! Now was the time to allow the Lord to bring an end to their storm. They took up the anchors and committed to the sea, completely free of all encumbrances, completely sustained by the wind of God.

Acts 27:41, “And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves...43 the centurion...commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land: 44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.” God's process will run its course, and in the end, His purpose is secured. How many times in our own lives have we survived on the broken pieces of our ship? The storms have been strong and the struggle bitter! But we have stayed with the Lord Of Our Storms, and our end is secure in Him!

Change My Heart, Oh God! by Myra Boozer

I love this song, "Change my Heart, oh God, make it ever new. Change my heart, oh God, make it more like you." It is also a great prayer. Isn't His Grace Amazing? To think that He would forgive all our sins and cast them far, far away in a sea to never be remembered. Just makes me cry when I think about how my mother taught me many years ago about the love of Jesus. This love also takes away our chains, the things that seem to hold us captive and make us prisoners. His love says NO MORE BONDAGE! His love is unending and still so amazing after all these years. I trust Him to take me on the rest of my days, however long they may be.

My mother also taught me how to cook, sew, clean the house, take care of babies, and much more. However, the best thing she ever taught me was that Jesus loves me and died on the cross for my sins. She taught me to love others as myself, to be forgiving, and to pray about everything. She taught me by example, which is the most profitable way to teach.

I must share this news with you today. Jesus loves YOU and died for YOU. You too can be set free from all the struggle, from all the guilt and shame, the chains that bind, the things that pull you down and make your life miserable. They can vanish in a moment when you humble yourself and allow God to raise you up in His Holiness because He is Holy, Righteous, and Pure.

He wants to hold you in His great big arms today and make everything new. JESUS LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER KNOW. Put your trust in Him. He is your deliverer, and He will fight your battles. You don't have to struggle any longer or carry the guilt of sin. Just surrender to the one who created you, loves you, and died for you. He wants to give you life everlasting and peace for the journey until that Day. His love is so Amazing, so rich and free. He is so full of compassion and great mercy. When all around you is crumbling and falling away, Jesus will not fail you. He is your steady ROCK, your firm FOUNDATION, and soon Coming King!

The Gift Of God Is Eternal Life! Conclusion

(For part 1, see 8/20/26)

God’s desire is for all men everywhere to be saved. 1 Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all...” God has prepared the way through the gift of His only Son. The penalty for sin has been paid. All one needs to do is repent of his sins and accept the Lordship of Christ in his life.

Pray this prayer with me and receive God’s unspeakable GIFT of salvation. “Lord Jesus Christ, I desire to be saved from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment. Thank You for paying the penalty for my sin. I believe You gave Your life to ransom my life. I believe You died on the cross, but You rose victorious over death, hell, and the grave on the third day, just as You had promised. I’m tired of my life of sin. From this moment forward, I give my life to You. I belong to You. Use me for Your honor and glory, and give me an eternal home with You in heaven. Thank You for Your GIFT of eternal life in Jesus Christ! Thank You for saving me! Amen!”

Jesus Died For You! by Myra Boozer

You who are wandering in the darkness and fighting against the winds of the world…

Struggling for peace and warmth in your heart…

Wrestling with turmoil and pain…

Searching for acceptance and finding none…

Longing for love and companionship, only to be disappointed…

Rejected and forgotten, alone in the crowd…

Searching in all the wrong places and coming up empty…

Just to remind you there is one who can calm all your fears…

Dry all your tears and bring a warm fire to your life…

Make you His own, to never be forgotten or forsaken…

He is Jesus…

YES, Jesus Died For You, and He longs to come and be your EVERYTHING!

The Gift Of God Is Eternal Life!

Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Jesus died for us when we were dead in our sins and doomed to an eternity in hell! Our frail human mind is incapable of fully comprehending the magnitude of God’s gift to us. How can someone whom we haven’t previously known be willing to sacrifice His only Son for our benefit? Romans 5:6, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

When we knew not how lost we were, God had planned for our total and complete deliverance. Through the precious blood offering of His Son Jesus, the pure and spotless Lamb of God, the penalty for sin was paid. God loved us when we were still sinners.

Jesus died for us, and we are justified by His blood. We are saved from the wrath of God as we look to the cross and believe. When the sin in us made us enemies of God, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son. We have now received life through the atonement for our sin by Christ Jesus. He died and rose again to provide our deliverance, to free us from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment. (continued)

Redeemed By The Blood Of Jesus! by Myra Boozer

The days are evil, and the storms of life are raging...The enemy has come in like a flood, ripping through our land, trying to wash away every grain of truth and justice that has prevailed in our country since the beginning of her existence. Turmoil has found a landing on the steps of every home and the heart of every man, woman, and child. The winds of this world whisper, “You are alone, and no one is interested in your sorrow...just forget about finding refuge in the soul of another human being...Trust only in your might and none other...no one cares or is able to lift you above the muddy waters of this terrible swift and raging current.”

But wait, I hear the chirping of the sparrow and see the Eagle on the highest bough...and listen to the breeze as it sings the sweetest song...Redeemed, You are redeemed...you have been purchased, bought with a price...counted worthy to be forgiven, and you are FREE...This is no time to be discouraged...God is allowing us to build strong faith in HIM and not our circumstances. No mortal relationship can save us! We are Redeemed by the Blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ!

God's Gift Of Redemptive Grace!

The Truth of God’s redemptive grace is exercised in the gift and sacrifice of His Son Jesus, our Messiah. Why would God make such a sympathetic offering? The answer lies in the text of John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” All that desire the Truth will navigate toward the Light of God, make the necessary adjustments in the strength of Jesus Christ, and walk in His Truth.

We are born into this life carrying this enormous burden called “sin.” The entire human race was plunged into the state of sin due to the disobedience of our mother and father, Adam and Eve. They fell for the Serpent’s temptation and ate of the forbidden fruit. God placed a curse upon the earth because of their disobedience.

God has included all under sin that He might offer a remedy. Galatians 3:22, “But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe...26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

Jesus Christ is God’s Gift of Redemptive Grace to this lost and dying world. The Truth of His redemptive grace reaches into the darkest crevices of life to illuminate the path of lost mankind. Look to Jesus, our Messiah, today and be loosed from the penetrating, consuming darkness enveloping our world. Jesus will deliver you and empower you to walk in the freedom that only He can give!

Remember! by Myra Boozer

You are stronger than you think,

remember to stand tall.

Every challenge in your life helps you to grow.

Every problem you encounter

strengthens your mind and your soul.

Every trouble you overcome

increases your understanding of life.

When all your troubles

weigh heavily on your shoulders,

remember that beneath the burden you can stand tall,

because you are never given more

than you can handle...

and you are stronger than you think.

~ Lisa Wroble ~

Every challenge that I encounter will make me stronger if I remember where my strength comes from and put my trust in Him. Yes, my strength comes from the Lord!

I must not forget that I never walk alone, for He knows the way I should take and He will direct my path in all my adventures. It is when I reach out to Him, when I place my hand in His, that I really feel safe and secure. He is my Father, and He always has my best interest at heart!

"Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me bless his holy name." Psalm 103:1

Restoration In The Name Of Jesus!

2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Although these passages are referring to God’s relationship with Israel, the Word is defining a universal principle and characteristic of our Heavenly Father. God is God of restoration. It is His nature to put lives back together. When we come to Him on His terms and meet His conditions, He will bring restoration in our lives.

God’s promise to Israel was to restore what they had lost or what had been taken from them. God is no respecter of persons, and that promise is relevant to any believer in any generation. Satan does not want you to embrace that Promise. But through the blood of Jesus Christ, you are brought into the family of God. You are a Child of God as a Believer. As a blood-bought child of God, we can declare in the power and authority of the Name of Jesus that the enemy release what he has stolen from us. If we will believe, the key will turn in the lock, the lock will fall free, and the doors will swing open wide at the command of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Believe the Promise God has given you. By faith, declare that the enemy loose what is yours and set you free. He has no other option but to comply.

God will restore what Satan has stolen from you! Take back your life and be restored in the Power of Jesus Christ! We pray it in Jesus’ Name! Amen!

The Word Of The Lord! by Myra Boozer

I want to hear YOU, Lord! I want to listen to Your Word and also hear Your voice! The winds are blowing up a storm, and I see on the horizon a new dilemma, a time of trouble, a time of emergency for those who are not aware, for those not prepared, for those who are busy and overtaken by their own plans and desires.

What do we do? They have ears to hear, but do not hear, and eyes to see, but do not see. They are getting angry with those speaking about Your Return. They are not interested in our words! They have Big Plans to stay! Sometimes I feel I am pulling back; I don't want to do that. I pray you give me Your words.

(This is the answer God gave!)

"Truth will PREVAIL...
Truth will stand STRONG, in the evil and corrupt day...
It will be VICTORIOUS...
It will SING LOUD AND STRONG...
It will TRIUMPH...
No enemy is able to stand AGAINST Truth...
The WORD is TRUTH...
The WORD is GOD...
I am the BEGINNING and the END...
I have NO other PLAN...
I will SURVIVE!
Those who want to be on the winning side must come along with the PLAN I have laid down...NO other plan, No other way!
FORSAKE all and FOLLOW ME.
BE INSTANT IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON...
CLOTHE yourself in RIGHTEOUSNESS...
RIGHT LIVING and BELIEVING will be the TICKET for the SURVIVAL of MY BODY...
NO ONE can come to me except they come MY WAY...
I AM THE WAY...
TRUTH will PREVAIL...and the SON will shine after the STORM...
LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING, but LEAN ON ME, FOR I AM THE STRONG AND MIGHTY ONE...
I AM HE THAT KEEPETH ISRAEL...I DO NOT SLEEP, AND I AM NOT SLACK CONCERNING MY PROMISES TO YOU AND ALL WHO LOVE ME...

The Ways Of Man Are Right In His Own Eyes! Conclusion

(For part 1, see 8/16/26)

2 Timothy 3:7, “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

In this passage, Paul is writing to young Timothy, describing the evil which will come upon the earth in the last days. He describes all sorts of sins and evil behavior which will captivate the human race just before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. If we read and study the depth of this passage with an open mind and honest heart before God, we must declare that we are living in a time comparable to what Paul described. Indeed, we are living in the last days.

One key factor that Paul spoke about is described in verse 7. He prophesied of a time when mankind would be always in pursuit of learning but never able to understand Divine Truth. We are living in an era when education has become a god. A testament to the pursuit of education is the volume of debt created by college students just in the last decade. Hanson, Melanie. “Student Loan Debt Statistics,” EducationData.org, 2026-07-16, Student loan debt in the United States totals $1.863 trillion; annual growth resumes following a decline in 2023-24. The outstanding federal student loan balance is $1.724 trillion; 42.6 million student borrowers have federal loan debt.” All that money is spent on higher education, but still unable to understand the most basic Biblical Truths. We are living in the last days of the Last Days.

Jesus said that when the Spirit of Truth has come, He will lead “you into all Truth.” Every living person can receive a greater understanding of the person and work of God. Regardless of one’s intellectual and academic achievement, God can still teach us a thing or two.

We are mortal men and the creation of God! Therefore, we must be subject to God. Job 40:2, “Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.” God is the instructor, and we are His students. God still wants to reveal His Truth to submissive, receptive hearts!

Jesus stated that when the Spirit of Truth has come, “he will shew you things to come.” There is much that God would share with us if we were in the position to receive. However, we must leave the realm of the carnal man and walk in newness of life given in the Spirit. Human intellect is not a proper position for Divine revelation. In a spiritual sense, we must position ourselves to receive God’s Truth. There is a way that seems right to man, but the end is death Proverbs 14:12. God’s desire is to reveal His Truth to His children, but we must go God’s way. He will guide us on the path that we should go. All we need to do is follow Him into His Truth!

You Can Know The Truth! by Myra Boozer

What should we be concerned about TODAY? Truth is a major issue that keeps getting twisted into lies and more lies. Some things just get swept under the rug while others continue to be proclaimed from the rooftop. The bottom line is, we need Truth to prevail. The more we seek Truth, the more we can recognize lies when they are presented.

There is so much deception in our world. Everyone seems to have their own song and dance routine. They dance to a different beat. Sometimes that beat is unsure, not clear, just not accurate, but because it is their drum and their inspiration, they continue to beat.

It is time for us to find the Master Conductor and fall at His feet, so that we may receive the correct notes and play the sound that the world needs to hear. No, everyone does not play the same notes, and sometimes everyone stops for that loud sound of the cymbal. In the scope of a beautiful masterpiece, everyone follows the conductor.

No one should be alone to play whatever sound he desires to play. All are united to play what the Master says to play. It is time to get alone with the Master and know what He wants from us. As the Church, we need to be playing His beautiful symphony. That is not what we are hearing, but if every Child of God will listen to the Conductor, it can happen quickly.

There is a change in the air for the people of God. God is stirring hearts and bringing us into the unity of prayer. Prayer for repentance as a whole and prayer for the lost because our time is coming to a close. Our open window may be closing soon, and there are still many who are not saved. It is time to pray! When we pray in fervency, the windows of Heaven open, and prayers will be answered...the Truth will be heard, souls will be saved, the work will be done, and the Bridegroom will come for His Bride! You Can Know The Truth!

The Ways Of Man Are Right In His Own Eyes!

Proverbs 21:2, “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.”

I have noticed in my latter years one thought that continues to present itself in my walk with God. “Live every day of your life with the end in mind.” Our vision of the end will invariably determine the subject of our focus on each and every day of our lives. With that in mind, I continue to reach for the Truth of God to envelop my soul and deliver me from this house of flesh.

Are you searching for the Truth, or are you looking for something that will fit your list of Religious principles? Solomon stated that every “man is right in his own eyes.” Our human tendency is to justify what we want. We want so badly to think that what we believe is the Truth; consequently, we try to make the Scriptures fit our lives. The correct approach is to make our lives fit the Scriptures. When we attempt to re-make God’s standard to fit our ideals and values, we drastically diminish the power of God’s Word, limiting it to only what we receive and understand.

Is it the Truth because we comprehend it to be so? Truth is Truth regardless of whether we receive it or understand it. Truth is not based on our perception, acceptance, or denial. Truth is the very character of our Creator. God is Truth! And His character is revealed to us through the Scriptures and in the persons of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Jesus stated in John 14:6, “...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Jesus promised His disciples an Advocate to come after His departure and declared that Advocate to be the Spirit of Truth. John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

If we want to understand Truth, we must cultivate a personal relationship with the one who is Truth. To receive and understand Truth is to receive the Lord Jesus Christ, submit to His counsel, be obedient to His discipline, and walk in total surrender to Him. If we will continue to walk in obedience and seek the revelation of God’s Word, we will move forward in Truth. (continued)

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus! by Myra Boozer

"Turn your eyes upon Jesus...Look full into His wonderful face...and the things of life will grow strangely dim...In the light of His glory and grace...”

I love this song...but there is something we MUST do...TURN...hard to do sometimes. It takes real effort, something we don't like to do. IT IS A MUST IF WE ARE TO SEE JESUS!

Something my Mother told me in the days before she passed away, "the things of this world grow very dim." Are they losing their hold on you? Are they becoming less and less important? I think the more we acknowledge God and His plan for our life and OUR LIFE WITH HIM, the things we have here start growing dim and not so important as they once were.

For where your treasure is there will your heart be also,” Matt. 6:21. I want my Treasure to be in Heaven, not here on earth where it will be destroyed...GOD HAS SUCH A WONDERFUL PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE...BUT I WOULD SAY IT IS NOT HERE (IN THE TEMPORAL) BUT IN THE LIFE TO COME...THE EVERLASTING LIFE...Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus!

No Reason To Be Afraid!

Hebrews 13:5, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

How often do we find ourselves in a position of denial and question, “Why are these harsh circumstances developing around us?” We are susceptible to cry out in absolute disbelief, “I can't believe this is happening to me!” This position makes us vulnerable and opens the door for Satan to rush in and steal our faith. In extreme cases, our soul can be seized with such life-altering doubt that our Christian service is totally paralyzed and we cannot proceed further. In that moment, we should run to God and fall upon our faces in prayer! If we will seek His face in submission, He will throw off the chains of dejection and depression as we heed the burning desire of the Holy Spirit that lives within us. We are never alone. Heb. 13:5, “...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

We can easily get caught up in the climate and events of this present day. We may question why all the negative stuff appears to be happening to us! But Jesus said it would be this way in the last days of time and that He would return to catch His Church away and redeem His people Israel. We must be careful that we are not so consumed with our current distress that we allow Satan to steal away the promise of our redemption and the Second Coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

We can place our total confidence in the promises the Lord has given us. He will never fail us! What He has promised, He will fulfill, so there is No Reason To Be Afraid!

Pressing Into A New Season! by Myra Boozer

People need to know and understand that "We are made BY GOD and FOR GOD." When we come to realize THAT, everything takes on new meaning. BUT then there are seasons in our lives: the ending of one and the beginning of another. Most of the time, there is a pause, a space in between where we are in the lull, and we just need NEW direction and inspiration. We need a good cleaning of our perspective. A time to know what is IMPORTANT. A time to get things in order as God would have them. There is a time for all things, a time to sow and a time to reap. This calls for different tactics, a different approach. So, we must have this serious personal time with the Lord.

Sometimes people think that God has left them during the lull, the space in between, but that is not so. This time is often difficult to adjust to. It sometimes appears to be a "valley." The valley's reputation causes many to run scared. The talk about being "down in the valley," "alone in the valley," “no sunshine in the valley.” This talk is damaging to those who are young in the Lord. They expect the worst, thinking they will never come out. It can be frightful, but don't lose HOPE.

It is time to sing a different song... the time to shed old thoughts and take on a new vision...But also a time of finding great comfort and restoration. In the valley, He restores our soul. He does not leave us there, but when the time is fully come, He will lead us out into the New Day...A NEW SEASON of our LIFE, stronger and better than before. He never forsakes us in the VALLEY. "...I will fear no evil, for thou art with me..." Psalm 23:4. Pressing into A New Season!

I Am Weak, But He Is Strong!

John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

In the beginning, God was! Before anything, God was, and He created all things, including you and me. I feel that He is pulling us back to Himself as in 1 John 1:1, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;” He has been with us from the beginning of this journey and He wants us to understand that it is through Him that we will finish. There is no other power, presence, or virtue sufficient to complete our assignment. He will magnify our efforts and ministry as He receives the honor and glory for the results.

The Holy Spirit is calling, “Come wrap yourself in the power of His presence and allow Him to perform in you His glorious works!” I am weak, but He is strong! If we allow Him to fully control our lives, we are made strong in our weakness because our weakness is God's strength. No enemy can stand against Him! There is no foe that He cannot overcome! No fortress can withstand Him, and no opposition that He cannot vanquish!

Come, come to Him now! Run, run to Him now and allow him to wrap you in His mantle of authority and shelter you from the storms ahead. I hear the rumbling in the distance, the sound of a mighty army moving into position. It is a well-prepared force; each warrior is in his place and prepared to do his duty. There is no fear in their number because they have been washed clean. Though their sins were as crimson, their raiment is white as snow. And there is one with them whose name no one can know except that His eyes are a flaming fire and He is clothed with a vesture dipped in blood. His name is the Word of God. Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword to smite the nations and rule them with the rod of Truth, and He tramples the wine-press of the wrath of Almighty God. He has on His garment and on His thigh written the name, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. At His appearing every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that JESUS IS LORD! I Am Weak, But He Is Strong!

God Knows The Best Way! by Myra Boozer

A few years ago, our two granddaughters were playing so sweetly together. All of a sudden, I heard a cry that shouldn't have been part of their playtime. Then I heard the youngest say to her sister, “You're being rude because you won't let me do what I WANT to do.” This really got my attention. How childish, but then again she was only 6 years old.

Even as adults, we sometimes feel this way toward God. We may even say, "God, this is just not fair." We think He is not being a good Father when He doesn't give us what we WANT. Well, we are wrong! He knows what is best for His children, and He will do what is best. But there may come a time when we refuse to do what is right, and He will let us go our own way and do what we want to do.

Now, that is a scary place to be, and we don't want to stay there very long. When we choose to walk away, then we must choose to go back where we left God, repent with tears, and do things His way. He is not going to come and say, "Child, I was wrong, do what you want, and everything is okay."

God will help us any time. He loves us, but we must go His way, not ours. "Can two walk together except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3. Are you asking God to go your way, or are you going His way?

When we walk with the Lord, we learn so much about His character. We learn about His loving patience and His unending mercy. But we also learn about His boundaries and His laws. He is not a pushover, and He is not one to allow us to live reckless and ungodly lives. He is strict with His requirements of righteous living. He will discipline us and sometimes correct us with a strong hand. But walking hand in hand with Jesus will lead us right into Heaven. That is the place we all want to live when this life is over. God Knows The Best Way to get there!
