Bid Me Come, Lord! by Myra Boozer

Lord, seeing you, having my focus on you doesn't always make the circumstances disappear. But my focus and faith rise to a different level. There, I can regain my knowledge of who you actually are and realize how you have every detail in your Book. You know the end from the beginning. You are in control of all that is going on in this world today.

You, Lord, are greater than my mind can conceive. I only get a glimpse of your greatness when I turn my eyes toward you. When Peter walked upon the waters, the winds and waves didn't cease for his delightful experience. They continued to roar! However, He was not looking at them! His focus was upon the one who called him to "come." He rose above them, but they were still there.

We must not be overtaken by the circumstances around us, and yes, they seem to be quite out of hand. We wonder what will happen tomorrow? We may question the stability of everything we have ever trusted in. But, just like Peter, we can say, Lord, bid me to come to you. Call me, Lord! Lift me up out of this ship of confusion that is no longer my refuge. I trust you to be my safe haven.

Lord, help me focus on you, not on the things that are crumbling under my feet. Help me, Lord, to step out in faith and realize that you are all I need. You are my hope, my everlasting consolation.

You are calling all who are heavy-laden to come unto you! One day, you will, "with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God," call us to come up to where you are to be with you forever. That is the call we long to hear. Bid Me Come, Lord! 

Let It Start In Me!

“There is a change coming. Let it start in me.” The lines have been drawn. God will bring His plan to completion. Satan will fight against God and all who identify with His holiness. The wind of God’s Holy Spirit is effectuating the change necessary in the heart of every believer to make us ready for the finale. Change is coming! Are you willing to be changed?

“Father God, I pray for the Body of Christ, all of us! Help us to hear what You are saying to the Church. Create within us a renewed desire to walk in intimacy with You. Bring us so close that the wind of Your Spirit cannot pass between us except we are aware of what You are doing in the Body.

Father, we must have Your direction and instruction. Push back the darkness that clouds our minds and thoughts and prevents us from walking fully in Your light. Burn away the fog of deception with the fire of Your Holy Spirit in our presence. Lead us forward into Your Divine plan for each of us and collectively as the Body of Christ. Shine Your Light upon our path that we can see clearly the way You have chosen for us.

Help us each one to find our place and serve with renewed passion. Create that passion in us as we submit to the direction of the Holy Spirit. Empower us to share Your message in the anointing of Your Spirit. Break the chains that prevent us from seeing total victory. Create within us an insatiable hunger for renewal and spiritual awakening.

Father God, send Your Holy Ghost fire among us. Baptize us afresh in Your Pentecostal power. Father breathe upon us once again. Breathe Your life into this breathless, hopeless mortal body. Quicken us with Your Life giving Spirit. Cause cloven tongues of fire to rest upon us yet once more. Thank you, Jesus! Stir the burning embers of our past experience that they may break into a full blaze of present revival fire. Send Your fire Lord and prepare us to receive Him when He comes! In Jesus Name, Amen.” 

Truth Will Prevail! by Myra Boozer

I want to hear YOU, Lord! I want to listen to Your Word and also hear Your voice! The winds are blowing up a storm, and I see on the horizon a new dilemma, a time of trouble, a time of emergency for those who are not aware, for those not prepared, for those who are busy and overtaken by their own plans and desires.

What do we do? They have ears to hear, but do not hear, and eyes to see, but do not see. They are getting angry with those speaking about your Return. They are not interested in our words! They have Big Plans to stay! Sometimes I feel I am pulling back; I don't want to do that. I pray you give me Your words.

"Truth will PREVAIL...
Truth will stand STRONG, in the evil and corrupt day...
It will be VICTORIOUS...
It will SING LOUD AND STRONG...
It will TRIUMPH...
No enemy is able to stand AGAINST Truth...
The WORD is TRUTH...
The WORD is GOD...
I am the BEGINNING and the END...
I have NO other PLAN...
I will SURVIVE!
Those who want to be on the winning side must come along with the PLAN I have laid down...NO other plan, NO other way!
FORSAKE all and FOLLOW ME.
BE INSTANT IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON...
CLOTHE yourself in RIGHTEOUSNESS...
RIGHT LIVING and BELIEVING will be the TICKET for the SURVIVAL of MY BODY...

How Do We Respond When Confronted By The Enemy? Conclusion

(for part 1 see 6/11/26)

God sent young David to the battlefield that day because He needed a champion, and He had chosen David. He didn’t choose someone who would be measured as a warrior. The king’s armor would not fit this ruddy young lad, but nevertheless, he was God’s champion. He left the field that day with a resounding victory because he gave himself into the hands of God.

The Body of Christ is facing its own spiritual giants. At the same time, the Holy Spirit is raising up God’s Champions to render the enemy helpless and deliver a resounding victory. We know how this will end. God will be the victor! But are we willing to answer God’s call and become His Champion for His cause? David used what was familiar to him, his faith in God and his slingshot. He became a willing participant in God’s cause. Will you give yourself without reservation into the hands of God and become a willing participant in His cause?

Remember the One we represent! We are covered by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is POWER in the NAME of JESUS! He will vanquish every foe and cause us to triumph over every evil plan of the enemy. Give yourself wholly into His hands and become His CHAMPION? Thanks be to God who gives us the VICTORY today and forever through our Lord Jesus Christ!

Take Authority Over The Darkness! by Myra Boozer

Satan wants us to carry every trivial little problem until it grows so huge that it breaks us down. He wants us to be so covered over by it that we can't see the light of day. He is a LIAR and the father of lies, but for some reason, we just keep letting him talk. And talk he will as long as we give him an audience.

It is time to take authority over any and all voices that tell you there is no hope. It seems that so many people are hopeless today... so many troubles, trials, sicknesses, and heartbreaks.

We cry out, “Lord, when will our country wake up and quit all this hate and evil that spews from so many?”

There seems to be a great shadow of darkness hovering over this world like a giant blanket. It is coming because many people have let trivial things bring them so low that they cannot stand up in Faith and take authority over them!

NO, it isn't easy to take authority over the darkness, but we must! We must pray continually for GOD to push back the darkness!! Jesus is LIGHT...He is HOPE...He is PEACE. Don't allow all the sorrows of this world to pile up on your heart and break you down. Take them each one to the LORD! He knows our every concern, and He will help us deal with all the turmoil of our day.

Resting in His POWER to push back darkness is the key to making it! Jesus gives us the strength to go on until HE COMES! Encourage one another with the FACT He is COMING SOON! Take Authority Over The Darkness! 

How Do We Respond When Confronted By The Enemy?

1 Samuel 17:40, “And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine...45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. 46This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand;...”

What is the significance of the smooth stones that David chose? The smooth stones were more aerodynamic. They would fly straight. David knew this not because he had studied physics at the University of Jerusalem. He knew this through his own practical experience with a slingshot. This was a tried and true weapon in the hands of a proficient champion. David used what he had in his hands. He used what he knew best, his faith in the Lord God of Israel and his slingshot. The combination of the two was a sure formula for victory.

What do we do when confronted by the enemy? Much like the armies of Israel when confronted by the Philistines and their champion, we stand motionless in fear at the very prospect of defeat. Thoughts of doubt and uncertainty flood our minds and cause us to lose heart. In our minds, we are defeated already! And if that is our mindset, then we are defeated before we even engage the enemy. Let us be reminded of who we represent. We enter the plain of battle in the name of the same Lord God Jehovah that David represented. We have the same resources! Use what is in your hand and trust God! (continued) 

The Worth Of Your Soul? by Myra Boozer

I was awakened in the early morning hours with this thought, “the worth of a soul!” My thoughts automatically went to the scripture. "Behold, all souls are mine..." Ezekiel 18:4a. I actually went back to sleep, and the thought was with me when I got up. I was searching and thinking, “The worth of a soul?” It has got to be enormous because of the price Jesus paid. He bought us with his precious blood. So we are valuable! But how valuable? What are we worth?

Some may put a great value upon themselves, thinking of themselves more highly than they should. But they will never come to the value that God the Father and His Son have placed upon them. What makes something worth anything? Something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it!

I found this in an article that came from Rescuing Wayward Children. "Can we imagine that the Savior, innocent of sin, who had assumed the staggering weight of the demands of justice until vessels broke and blood seeped from every pore of His suffering body, who had submitted Himself to brutal beatings, to unconscionable humiliation, to arrogant injustice, to the torture of a thirty-nine-lash scourging, to the horror of being stripped and stretched violently upon a cross, to being raised up to hang, full-body weight, from those spikes until He allowed death to overwhelm Him – can we imagine that after the Redeemer had paid that immeasurable price to ransom every individual, that He would lose interest in a sinner, give up, or stop short of His rescuing effort?"

Wow, this was overwhelming for me to read. I don't usually go that deep into my thinking about His suffering. I much rather think of His Resurrection. It makes me smile and rejoice that, because He lives, I can live also.

But to find my answer, I had to acquaint myself afresh with His suffering. I had to go there and experience the thoughts of what He was so willing to pay. He paid the ultimate price for me and for YOU. That puts a big price tag on us, all because of Him, not because of any good thing we have done.

It will take a revelation from the Lord for us to see people in the same light that Jesus does. "When we fix our eyes on what is really important to God, it will be people." Jesus died for ALL PEOPLE! He paid the price, making each one as valuable as the other. When our eyes are opened, we will "see the great value and plan that God has for all people." (I wrote this some time ago, but the message is still relevant for today.) 

Lost Souls, Lost For Eternity?

Matt. 7:21, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."

Don’t postpone the harvest! The harvest is ready! I am hearing the message of Jesus’ soon coming more each day, and I believe that is the inspiration of God, allowing us to know that time is short. We cannot delay in fulfilling Christ’s commission to preach the Gospel and make disciples for Jesus. We cannot afford to delay or be negligent in our Divine task. There is too much at stake. The salvation of those we love and influence is at risk! Who will reach them if we are not obedient to His calling? How can we escape if we neglect this great salvation? The time to win them is while God is calling us! If He is instructing us to take the message, He is preparing hearts to receive the message!

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to the needs of all people. In the book of Luke, the angel's announcement of the birth of Christ was the proclamation of Good News for all mankind. Luke 2:10, “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” All men must hear the message of redemption and freedom in Jesus Christ.

Our “Mission” is ordained and empowered by God. Christ commissioned the Church, but as His disciples, we must embrace His command and accept individual responsibility to share the “Good News.” The Church will fulfill Her role and complete Her Mission. As individuals, we have a choice. We will either embrace His call or settle for something less than complete surrender. Without total abandon for Christ, we cannot finish our assignment successfully. We cannot afford to fail in this endeavor.

God Is Not Hiding! by Myra Boozer

As the wind speaks to the leaves, they obey! They move in the direction the wind bids them to go, up, down, left, right, or in a circle. They seem to delightfully sway as though they enjoy the rhythm of the song.

When the winds get loud and rowdy, everything seems to scream HELP! The trees bow so low and obey as much as possible. It is so dependent upon the tree's flexibility and the root system if they survive. Sometimes the wind is so boisterous that it doesn't matter how strong the tree is; it will twist so hard that a healthy limb will pop right off. I know this because I had to place a perfectly fine-looking limb on the curb due to strong winds and pick up many smaller limbs. They had already died and were ready for removal, but the green one had plans for next spring; the evidence was there with the green berries.

Actually, when I see the stirring in the trees, I sense they are just worshiping the Creator, and with such pleasure. It is a most enjoyable sight. We call this a summer breeze here in the South. It is most welcome, especially to the hard-working person who needs refreshing. It can make a most miserable day become enjoyable.

As I write about this, I am reminded that we cannot see the wind, but we certainly see the effects of it, just as I can see the effects of what God is doing in our world. I don't actually see God, but I know He is here. He is everywhere. He is working among all people on earth to bring about His plan for these last days. From the Middle East to North Korea, China, and Europe, from the West Coast of California to the Gulf of Mexico to the East Coast of Maine, from hate that is foaming across our land to the little child being bullied by a classmate, God is working, and nothing escapes His gaze.

It may appear to some that God is hiding out in the heavens. But He is moving just like the wind. He is stirring, blowing, and is about to howl because of the sin in this world. Just as the wind, God is not seen by man. John 1:18, "No man hath seen God at any time:" But, He is in the midst of every situation. Nothing takes Him by surprise! Man may think he has it all in the bag, that plans have been laid, and the program will go as he has designed. But God, like the wind, makes the calls, and man must obey, yield to His will, or be tossed to the curb.

Isaiah 46:10, "Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:" 

Through It All!

Ecclesiastes 1:9, “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.”

Many years ago, I began a journey of eternal consequence. I made a conscious decision to follow Jesus Christ and be His disciple. This journey has taken me to many places and introduced me to many people, many different circumstances, and many different results. I have followed Christ through a changing world and the evolution of man to where we stand at this point in time.

Many things continue to change as I endeavor to continue and even finish this journey. However, I am fully aware that there has always been one constant in the noise of all the changes. That constant has been the Lord Jesus Christ and His timeless and unobstructed love for me. His loving kindness endures forever!

As I have traveled this circle of life, I have seen the hand of Almighty God all around me. He has always been with me to provide the solution to my confusion, and to provide all the necessities that I have required to accomplish His mission in my life. However, He continues to call me back to my beginning, to that place of first encounter and His vision that He has set in my heart. It is the reality of that beginning that continues to provide the strength to continue His mission.

The words of an old song come to mind. The song was written by Andre Crouch. The title of the song is, Through It All, and I offer it here for contemplation and reflection.

I’ve had many tears and sorrow

I’ve had questions for tomorrow

There were times I didn’t know right from wrong

But in every situation, God gave me blessed consolation

That my trials only come to make me strong

I’ve been a lot of places

I’ve seen a lot of faces

But there were times that I felt so all alone

But in my lonely hour, those precious lonely hours

Jesus let me know that I was His own

Through it all, through it all, I’ve learned to trust in Jesus, I’ve learned to trust in God

Through it all, through it all, I’ve learned to depend upon His Word

So I thank God for the mountains, and I thank Him for the valleys

And I thank Him for the storms He’s brought me through

For if I’d never had a problem, I’d never know God could solve them

I’d never know what faith in His Word could do.

One day very soon, we will finish this Circle of Life. And that which has been and that which is will be no more, and the only thing new under the sun will be ETERNITY. We have only this life, and it will soon be completed. Only our discipleship in Jesus Christ will be important in ETERNITY! 

The Road! by Myra Boozer

The road may seem long and winding as you set out on your day.

You may have faced adversity or danger along the way.

Troubles and trials may have arisen, obscuring your light of day.

But don't give up...for Rest is on His way.

Rest is not elusive, for He is here to stay.

He comes in time to reveal and heal.

He comes from God the Father...the Trusting, Faithful One.

He understands your heartache and captures all your tears.

So put your hand in His hand and steady your pace,

Tomorrow you may lay your eyes on His Heavenly Face… 

Yield To The Master's Directions!

A gentle wind blows across the grassy lowland today. The tall blades of grass sway back and forth as the wind caresses each one. It is as though each individual stem is engaged in a perpetual dance with the Creator. First this way and that way, around and around, up and down. It is such a beautiful scene to observe, but how wonderful it would be to participate.

And, we do participate! We are engaged with our Creator in this beautiful production we call life. The orchestra plays, and we move to the music much like the wind blowing upon the grassy field. The wind of life influences each and every movement, first this way and then that way, around and around, up and down.

God is the Grand Conductor of this beautiful experience. He is in control of it all. However, each participant must yield to the Master’s direction and respond to each command. Then, we become part of the Master’s grand presentation, every movement synchronized and every note in perfect harmony. Oh, what a glorious sight to behold and exquisite sound to hear, each note and each movement drawing closer and closer to the crescendo and finale. Up, up, up, our spirit rises! Higher than ever before and then...we see the face of God!

What will you do with your opportunity to engage in the Master’s grand production? Are you faithfully rehearsing and preparing for the final performance? Or, have you been slack in your duty and commitment? Maybe even cast aside your instrument, and it lies motionless and useless, gathering dust in a corner somewhere?

You cannot proceed without the Master’s directions! Though you may have been absent, distracted, or focused on other things, the Master still holds your place. He always has a vacant chair for you, no auditions and no competition, just come to Him. He loves you! He will counsel, guide, and support you. He will prepare you for the final performance. Follow Him, and you will be ready for the Finale! Just Yield To The Master’s Direction! 

Life Is A Journey! by Myra Boozer

"Life is a journey, not a home, a road, a city or habitation. The enjoyments and blessings we have are but little Inns on the roadside of life where we may be refreshed for a moment, so we may press on to the end with new strength."

Our lives will come to an end one day because this is not our home. We are just passing through, and it seems to be very quick. "The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away," Psalms 90:10.

We have a choice of where we want to live at the end of this journey. The roads we choose to travel have everything to do with where we will spend eternity. There is a highway of holiness that leads to eternal life. "And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called the way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein," Isaiah 35:8. Sometimes this road seems hard to climb, because it is the narrow way and not many want to travel this road so you may not see all your friends. Don't fret. Jesus said in His word, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee," Hebrews 13:5b.

WARNING! Don't go the broad way, the road that is most travelled. It may at first appear to be the right road because so many travel it and seem happy. They talk about the lights, the beautiful sights, the fun and the pleasures. Remember Moses? "Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season:” Hebrews 12:25.

ALERT! The broad road leads to DESTRUCTION. "For wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be that find it," Matthew 7:13b.

God left us the road map, His Holy Word. He left us a guide, His Holy Spirit. In John 14:1-7, Jesus tells us to not be troubled. He also said that in His Father's house are many rooms, and He, Himself, was going to prepare us a place. He promised He would return and take us there. We don't have to figure out every detail, but we do have to trust in Jesus with all of our hearts. He said, "I am the way, the truth and the life."

This journey is coming to a close one day. I am trusting in Jesus that I wind up in God's Big House with friends and family whom I love dearly. Hope to see you there!

You Can't Replace God's Plan And Have God's Favor! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 6/6/26)

1 Peter 4:17, “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God…”

The external, dark forces in our world are pressing in upon the boundaries of holiness and righteousness, which are so firmly established in God's Holy Word. We must push back and stop this intrusion. 1 Peter 4:17, “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” We need the correction of the Word by the Holy Spirit. This correction must begin at the “house of God.” This text indicates an examination by the Word and Spirit in the household of faith, the family of God.

The Bride of Christ will be presented to Him as chaste, pure, undefiled, and without spot or wrinkle. One role of the Holy Spirit is to illuminate the darkness and remove the covering for sin. The covering for sin is the absence of Truth. The Word of Truth illuminated by the Spirit of Truth will set the souls of men free to walk in the liberty which only God can give.

The promise of Christ is that as the Gospel goes forth, it is accompanied by His power and authority. When religious men compromise the Word of God, they fail to walk in the authority of Christ; therefore, there is no power. If there is no power in the message, ask by whose authority the message has come. Is this my message or the message from the heart of God? It must be God’s message, or we are Replacing The Plan Of God with our plan of flesh!

Revelation 22:18, “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Are you Replacing God’s Plan with your own plan? “…what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” 

Whose Work Are We Doing? by Myra Boozer

John 6:28, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."

"Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established," Proverbs 16:3. Whose work are we doing? Our work or the Lord's work? When life is all about "ME," I am suddenly overtaken by my thoughts, which causes me to be living my life for me.

If my heart is on the Lord and His plan for my life, then my personal life becomes secondary, and serving Him takes priority. I don't have to search for work...but yield myself to BELIEVE ON HIM, and He will bring people and situations into my life that I can love and be a blessing to. That, my friend, is the GOOD LIFE...loving God and loving Others...that is His plan for us! Whose Work Are You Doing? 

You Can't Replace God's Plan And Have God's Favor!

Jude 1:3-4

You can’t replace God’s plan and expect God’s favor! Jude wrote to identify the apostasy that had crept into the Church in his day. False teachers were presenting Gnostic beliefs as truth. They believed and taught the emancipation of the spirit, while their flesh could do anything it liked, and as a result, they were guilty of all kinds of lawlessness. Vs. 4, For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Lasciviousness is defined by the Greek word “aselgia,” which means: wantonness, lewdness, sensual. HelpWord studies define it as “violent spite which rejects restraint and indulges in lawless insolence, shameless and defiant, contemptuous, expressing deep hatred or disapproval.” The use of this word indicates contempt for and revolt against the plan of God. Carnal men had chosen to reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ and replace it with their own carnal theology.

Jude was also writing to warn future generations to guard against false doctrine. The departure from the “faith” began some time ago. What we are seeing now is the result of rejecting God’s plan and authority. This apostasy, defection, revolt is taking place right before our eyes. We can conclude that as this falling away takes place, we can know that “the day of Christ,” “the day of the Lord” is at hand. See 2 Thess. 2:1-3.

God’s judgment is upon us because of man’s sinful revolt against His influence in our daily lives. One reason for this impending judgment is the apostasy that has crept into the churches. The ideals of a carnal theology have infiltrated the pulpit and replaced the faith that was once delivered to the saints.

Sin and apostasy must be identified and addressed. Church leaders are obligated to seek for and teach the Truth. We are bound by our covenant and calling by the Lord Jesus Christ to preach and teach His Gospel. Today, we stand at the door of Christ’s return. Our task is to prepare for the appearing of the Son of God, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. Our challenge is to make ready the bride to be united with the bridegroom. Peace like a river flows from the Throne of our God. It is so clear and pure, rich in mercy and overflowing with Everlasting Life. It declares freedom for the prisoner...freedom from the chains that bind the hearts and lives of the sick, the depressed, and broken...

It is being released for all who are thirsty...to all who desire to be set free from this dry and thirsty land of deceit...free from the synthetic and make-believe peace that is being manufactured by politicians and even some so-called Christians.

Lord, your peace is genuine...it is perfect. It not only sets us free, but it also gives us the ability to live in this messed up world with Hope...set free with a great desire to be Real, Healed and Whole...

The soul of man cannot survive on any other source other than the True and Living Waters that flow from your Throne. It is the Peace that passes all our human understanding. It will soothe our doubts and calm all our fears.

Lord, may we have the fortitude to seek you and find you. May we be submissive to your passionate and unwavering love toward us. May we allow you to set us free. It is your great desire for each of us... 

You Can Have Peace In The Storm!

John 14:1, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

This very moment, as we battle the storms in our lives, Jesus is making provision for us. He is providing the spiritual fortitude to bring us through the storms and also preparing our final destination to be with Him. We must place our hand in His and let Him lead us there.

There is no storm, no trial, no test, or battle that He cannot navigate. In fact, He allows the storms to come to help us grow and mature as His disciples. He is teaching us to recognize the best path. He is teaching us that He is always with us, and we are learning to recognize Him in our storm. God uses the storms to fashion His faith, His trust, and His assurance in us. Faith that His promises are sure, trust that it is His voice we hear, and assurance that no matter where the storms may carry us, He is always there. Matt. 28:20, “...and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world...”

Christ has promised to go with us, sustain us, and deliver us. What we must do is walk with Him. We belong to Him, and He says, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” John 10:27. He has paid a great price for our deliverance, and nothing can take us out of His hand if we will only trust and obey Him.

Psalm 31:19, “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! 20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.”

My soul craves the peace of God's presence. In His stillness, I find peace and rest. He lifts me above this world's raging storm. He quiets the winds and calms the blustery waves. He commands “peace, be still,” and my life returns. He is my Peace In The Storm! 

Lord, My Life Is In Your Hands! by Myra Boozer

Psalms 62:5, “My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. 8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.”

Lord, my life is in your hands. My tears are in your bottle. All my days have been written in your Book.

Lord, my life is in your hands. I will not be overwhelmed by the terror by night nor the arrow that flies by day. Because you love me, I will come when you call.

I will wait until you come, and I will rejoice in your mercy. All I will ever need is found in you, Lord. May I always be listening for your voice. My Life is in your hands.

James 5:7, “Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.”

 

Love Not The World!

1 John 2:15, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

Where are your affections? As Christians, our focus should be on our relationship with God rather than our relationship with the world and its system. We are in the world but are not of the world if we have been born again (born from above). We have been reborn from a person of the flesh and fleshly control into a spiritual creation of the Spirit of God. Our instruction comes from God through the Holy Spirit. We are citizens of the Kingdom of God and are not dominated by the politics of this worldly system.

Are our lives affected by the world we live in? Most definitely! However, our allegiance is to a higher power, a higher authority, and we do not bow to the constraints of this worldly system. Although we are prisoners in this body of flesh, we are free in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our governance. Does that give us the authority to refuse the law of our land? God’s law must receive preeminence over any earthly law that contradicts God’s law. The law of God is greater than any earthly governance.

Today, as disciples of Jesus Christ, we find ourselves at odds with the morals and practices of our world's systems of government and religion. We shouldn’t find that surprising if we are really following the tenets of the Bible. Generally, it has been that way for the people of God since the beginning. Satan has always had a system of rule and control opposing the authority of God. And He (Satan) will continue to grab all the control he can until he declares himself to be the Christ and rules the world from the temple in Jerusalem! (continued)

Hope?

The natural man within us is governed by conditions and circumstances. If we look only at what we see with our physical eyes, our future appears rather bleak. The dark days around us can become very distressing, discouraging, desperate, and hopeless. However, our life in Jesus Christ is not governed by our natural man. We can rise above every circumstance and condition by the Holy Spirit of God, which inhabits this mortal body. We are not dominated by what we see or what we perceive to be taking place around us. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me...” Psalm 23:4. He will go with me all the way. He will ensure that I finish my mission according to His plan as I put my faith and trust in Him. I will fear no evil because He goes with me and leads me in the way I should go.

Thanks be to God who gives us the victory because He reigns Sovereign over all Creation. “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord,” 1 Corinthians. 15:57-58.

There has no trial been given to man that the power of His Love and Grace cannot vanquish. We stand in the power of His Love. His Love for all mankind set Him on the cross. His Love for us brought Him forth from the grave and raised Him Victorious over death and hell. By His Grace, He extends to us the gift of His Resurrection. Who Will Listen? by Myra Boozer

Who will listen to the still small voice when He speaks? It won't be the excitable, giddy one who is inflated with self-conceit. Being bound up in pride and an arrogant spirit leaves no room to listen.

It won't be the one who can't be reasoned with because they are stubborn and stuck, unable to understand or concede.

It won't be the fearful, for it takes courage to receive instruction.

It won't be someone who doesn't welcome change, for God is an advocate for change in its most deliberate form.

It won't be someone who refuses to forgive, for the speaker is the Father of Forgiveness, and He requires it.

It won't be someone who ignores the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is the very unction to hear the still small voice.

It won't be someone who doesn't understand trust, because God is all about our leaning on Him.

So Who Will Listen? I think it is the one who is DESPERATE...The one calling out to God for HELP in their Brokenness, the DESTITUTE person who has forsaken all to find God. Put Off This Man Of Flesh! Conclusion

Our standard should be modeled after the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. Jesus became the new template, the new and better way, and He delivered the plan in person. He became the living example through which those desiring God are transformed and enter into a living personal relationship with Him.

This transformation is initiated by the renewing of the mind. The Word states, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Phil. 2:5. Have the mind of Christ rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, and continuing instant in prayer. Walk in this life in Divine communion with the Father, having continued access to His strength, power, wisdom, and deliverance. We cannot think like the world thinks and walk like the world walks and expect to be a citizen of the Kingdom of God and, as such, walk in unrestricted communion with Him. That is why we must experience a change in our temporal mindset, a spiritual transformation brought about by the Holy Ghost in response to our obedience and submission to Him. Thereby, we are restored to a level of communion that man experienced in the garden before his sin. We are regenerated by the Holy Spirit to walk in an intimate, holy, and unrestrained relationship with God.

The result of our intimate union with God is to know His perfect will for our lives. God has a good, acceptable, and perfect will for each life He has created. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” Jer. 29:11.

The reason many people never fully understand and experience God's plan for them is that they lack that intimacy with God. Because of the mercy and grace of the cross, God will meet us where we are. The redemptive power of Jesus' blood will reach into the deepest darkness to rescue anyone, anywhere. But, we must be willing by the strength of the Holy Spirit to leave the darkness and step fully into the illuminating power of His Word. By embracing His Truth and walking in obedience, the door is thrown fully open for intimate communion and revelation to “prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Thank you, Jesus!!! 

Who Will Be Ready? by Myra Boozer

Hebrews 9:28, “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

"What kind of people must we be to be ready for the return of the Lord and to enter the kingdom of heaven with Him?" There are many answers to be given. The one that stays with me so much is...We must be watching and waiting for Him (carrying out His commission). He is coming for those who are looking for Him!

We must be set apart from this world and separated from its hold on us. We must be in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ to want to be with Him. Not just use Him as an escape route to "get out of " what is coming upon this world in the form of judgment because of sin and wickedness. Luke tells us, "Watch out! Don't let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don't let that day catch you unaware, like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth. Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man," Luke 21:34-36 (NLT).

We must have ears to hear and recognize His voice when He gives us direction...also to hear the trumpet sound...not everyone will hear that sound. We must be ready to go with Him. The Word says to be alert, not dulled by careless living.

Do we love the Bridegroom? Are we laying aside every weight that would hinder us from being ready? Are we watching for His coming? The Truth about the Rapture gives us great incentive to deny worldliness and live holy and righteously today because He could come today.

Don't let anything sedate you. Stay watchful! This world can pull you in by its luring bait, which looks all pretty and innocent, but it is a trap and not easy to escape once you have bought into it. Jesus said, "And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things, entering in, choke the word, and it become unfruitful," Mark 4:19. 1 John 2:15 tells us to “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” Who Will Be Ready? 

Put Off This Man Of Flesh!

This carnal man must be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. This man of flesh must be born from above, recreated by the Spirit in the image of our Creator.

What God has purposed will require the power of the Holy Spirit to transform this fleshly tabernacle into a spiritual habitation for Himself. “Transformation is a complete or major change in someone's or something's appearance, form, etc.” This process begins with the first step to salvation, which is repentance. Acts 3:19, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” Peter was addressing the Jewish unbelievers regarding their rejection and crucifixion of Jesus, their Messiah. This comes after the healing of the lame man at the gate of the temple. The people marveled at this act. However, Peter said, you did what you did through ignorance, but God revealed His coming through the mouth of the prophets and that Christ should suffer and die. Therefore, repent of your ignorance and sinful disobedience and be restored. Through this message, God was giving them another chance for redemption. Repentance is not only a change of mind but a change of heart.

Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Do not live according to the custom or pattern of this current age. We cannot follow the example of the world community and expect to draw near to God. The customs and behavior of our world system are repulsive to God. His command is, “Be ye holy; for I am holy,” 1 Peter 1:16. And again in 2 Corinthians 2:16, “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,..” A revelation of Jesus Christ will compel the true believer to desire and seek after a life of holiness. The Rebellion Of A Nation! Conclusion

Apostasy is the result of rebellion. Man has fallen into apostasy because of the failure to correct his error in repentance and change. Jesus was speaking specifically to the nation of Israel. Israel paid a high price for their rebellion. They rejected their Messiah; therefore, God rejected them, Matt. 21:31, “...Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.” The same principle can be applied to any nation, any church, or any person. The world society has challenged the authority and plan of God. And, more specifically, this nation has walked away from God in open rebellion.

In the last century, our country has witnessed the manifest presence of God. From the isolated revivals of the Appalachians in the late 1800”s to the spiritual awakening of Azusa Street in the early 1900’s, and more recently, this nation has witnessed the manifest presence of God. However, we should be concerned about our churches today and the lack of a visible witness to the power of God. We cannot rebel against the authority and plan of God and expect to walk in the power of God. We cannot walk away from the purity of His Word and expect the Holy Spirit to empower us.

If the Holy Spirit is to empower us, there has to be a return to the conditions required by the Holy Scriptures. Those conditions can only inhabit the life of a repentant, regenerated, rededicated individual, church, or nation. The next move is yours! What will be your decision? The Rebellion Of A Nation! 

Beware The Apostate Church! by Myra Boozer

Today, there are many apostate churches with their feel-good message of, come as you are, stay as you are, God accepts you! This “NO need for a change of heart or lifestyle” is NOT from GOD but from Satan. It is the broad road that leads directly into hell, and many are being fooled because no one will tell them the TRUTH. Matt. 7:13, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at:”

The sugar-coated preaching with no scriptural standard will not transform the life of a sinner! The Truth that Jesus speaks is OFFENSIVE to the sinner. Heb. 4:12, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

It is not a "feel good about your sin" MESSAGE but a “depart from sin, deny yourself, take up your CROSS and follow Christ” message. When true conviction comes to a person, it is the most UNCOMFORTABLE feeling in the world. The warm and fuzzy feeling will follow, but not until after REPENTANCE.

God CONVICT the spiritually blind people who are doing a great injustice to those who are seeking truth. They are enemies of the cross! They are your enemy! Don't listen to them and their spirit of error message. The Spiritually blind people are the workers of iniquity. Their master is not GOD, no matter how many programs or Bible Studies they may have, no matter how many people attend their church, no matter how many mission programs they support. When a pastor and church promote anything more than the "turn from your wicked ways" message, they are the apostate church teaching and preaching in error. Matt. 15:14, “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”

When a church is dead in its traditions, they do the same thing year after year and get the same results. The Spirit of Life is not flowing! It takes the anointing of the Holy Ghost to break the yoke of sin! Without the moving of Holy Ghost power to convince and convict the sinner, it becomes a club of people who still claim their sin but want to believe heaven is waiting for them. When the blind lead the blind, they both fall in the ditch. If your church is sugar coating the message, it is the apostate church! Get out, seek God, read His Word, and allow the Spirit to transform you into His vessel of honor. Obey His voice as He leads you into all Truth…

John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” 

The Rebellion Of A Nation!

Matt. 21:28-32

Apostasy materializes in a series of errors. A nation, a church, a person does not fall into apostasy in an instant. It happens over time, in which God will correct and give opportunity to repent and return to the Truth.

The first error that these Jewish leaders made was to challenge the authority and plan of God. By rejecting Jesus, the Son of God, the Messiah sent by God, they were in full-blown rebellion against God who they claimed to serve.

That generation had witnessed the power of God through the miraculous acts that Jesus performed. Yet their lack of spiritual discernment compelled them to ask, “...By what authority doest thou these things? And who gave thee this authority?” Matt. 21:23

That generation had witnessed the presentation of the King and the fulfillment of prophecy. Zechariah 9:9, “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.” See also, Matt. 21:5.

That generation had witnessed the purging of the Temple, which is God’s chastisement of error. See Matt. 21:12-13. They had made the Temple into something that it was not intended to be, “a den of thieves” rather than “a house of prayer.” I am reminded of the dedication of the Temple that Solomon built. He built it for a habitation of God, a place where heaven and earth came together. 2 Chron. 7:1, “Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. 2And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD'S house.” What a difference between the worship in Solomon’s Temple and that of Jesus’ day. The Last Days! by Myra Boozer

"This know also, that in the last days perilous (uncertain)times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous (desire, envy) boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent (without self-restraint especially in sexual activity) fierce (furious, enraged, vehement, cruel, insane, hellish) despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, (intoxicating) highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers(various) lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was," 2 Timothy 3:1-9 KJV.

These are not my words but the words of God through His servant. The next chapter tells us "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the TRUTH, and shall be turned unto fables (a fictitious story, a falsehood),” 2 Timothy 4:3-4.

We are living in the last days! We are to preach the Word and remember these words, "And the LORD shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen," 2 Timothy 4:18. 

Evil Increased In The Last Days!

The world system has become so jaded that almost nothing is viewed as wrong. Our society has been conditioned over time to accept sin. A spirit of “inclusion” has been embraced by many churches so that nobody feels left out. Everybody must be accepted regardless of their relationship with God or manner of living. Sure, we are to love everybody, but the Church of Jesus Christ cannot accept a lifestyle of sin. Sin must be brought before the Lord in repentance!

Gradually, the enemy has crept in and performed his despicable work, undermining the very foundation of our existence. From the beginning, our social order was built upon the family unit. God's design for the family has been manipulated to fit every desire and convenience imaginable to mankind. However, God has His Standard, which cannot be manipulated to please anyone! The Word of God calls for the sinner to repent of their sin, turn from their sin, and follow the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul wrote to Timothy about the evil in the last days in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. As Christ's return draws near, the depraved conditions will increase. "But evil men...shall wax worse..."v.13. Paul describes mass corruption and lawlessness. The warning is that the condition of the world ultimately presses into the Church. "Having a form of godliness but denying the power..."v5. Having the resemblance of Christian service but without the spiritual dynamic of the Holy Spirit. Peter said, "These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest…" 2 Peter 2:17. The barrenness of this false religion mocks the thirsty soul by promising refreshment but cannot deliver. Perhaps Jude states it best in vs.12-13, "These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear; clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever."

In Eph. 6:11, Paul instructs the Church to "put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." The emphasis is on the "whole armor of God" in its completeness, providing power against "the wiles of the devil." In Romans 13:12-14, he writes "...put you on the Lord Jesus Christ…"

Paul addresses the armor of God as a complete covering. We are "to grow up unto Him in all things." Eph. 4:15. We are to put on His image in all the harmony of truth, righteousness, peace, and faith. We are to receive the spiritual energy and power of Christ as the "Word." Jesus Christ is the solution to the present human condition! He is the embodiment of our power and authority to defeat the "flesh" which will rule the carnal nature of man in the Last Days. 

Lord, Deliver Us From Evil! by Myra Boozer

Dear Lord, I ask that YOU help all Christians to stand strong against the evil in our world. Help us not to be shaken by what is coming and what is already here. We desire that nothing hinder us as we seek YOU.

May we trust YOU in these evil days. We desire to stand in the power of YOUR might against the enemy of our souls and the souls of our families. Lord, may we receive wisdom to know how to share YOUR Gospel Message effectively.

Evil is on every hand, trying to destroy every good work, especially the work of the righteous. Lord, may we seek to be filled and overflowing with YOUR Spirit so that no evil spirit can enter our hearts.

We must rise up as Daniel and proclaim YOUR Word because it is power unto salvation. God, Your Word tells us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We stand on that truth! It tells us that we are made overcomers by YOUR blood and the word of our testimony.

We proclaim YOUR Word is truth! We cast our cares on YOU and delight ourselves in YOU. May faith continue to arise in our hearts as we send praises to YOUR throne. Deliver Us From Evil for thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory...Forever...Amen 

Lord, We Are Desperate For You!

Lord Jesus Christ, we, the Body of Christ, need You today in a most desperate way. We need You to unlock our consciousness and pour into us Your inspiration and revelation. Lord, take charge of Your Church and fulfill Your mission in us!

Lord, I desperately need You! I so desire to hear Your consoling words and have them take root in my heart. Come, Lord Jesus, and raise this mortal soul into Your heavenly realm. Just give me a glimpse, I pray, of what is before us. I do not question Your ways but submit totally to Your leading. Help me to walk in unreserved obedience and baptize me afresh in Your love and compassion. Almighty God, seize my soul in Your embrace to walk in intimate relationship and companionship. Bear me up on Your wings. Empower me to soar above this world and all its problems. Help me to see only what You desire to reveal.

Lord, I hunger and thirst for Your constant presence in my life. It is not sufficient to only meet with You on religious occasions. I must know that I am going where You are going, doing what You are doing, and a part of Your grand endeavors in and through the Body of Christ. Take me, take me now, where it is just You and me. Put within me all that I need to complete our journey here! In Jesus’ name! Amen. We Are Desperate For You! Jesus Christ is our living hope!

Seek Ye First The Kingdom Of God! by Myra Boozer

Matt. 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

If you have been listening to prosperity preaching, you may feel disappointed because your $1,000 check didn't arrive in the mail last week. I am not looking for pie to fall from the sky for my family when it comes to our personal needs and wants. But I am expecting to receive just the right amount at the right time. God has promised us that He would never leave us nor forsake us. That, my friend, is what it is all about.

I'm reminded of an old song, “I never promised you a Rose Garden.” Too many people are looking for the Abundant Life to bring them much pleasure and prosperity. That is not the Abundant Life the Word tells us about. These things can become a ball and chain to distract, divert, and confuse you about Your Divine Purpose that God has for you alone. That is His main concern for us, “OUR PURPOSE IN HIM.”

But Myra, are you saying to desire NOTHING? NO, I am saying SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND THESE THINGS WILL BE ADDED UNTO YOU. Do you mean I can start looking for my "thousand-dollar" check in the mail? No, but you can start looking for ALL your needs to be met according to His riches in Glory.

When everything looks barren and dead, God has prepared just what you need to sustain you and take you to your final destination, HIS HOME IN HEAVEN. Heaven will be more than we could ever dream or imagine, but that is not the reason I want to go there. I want to forever be in the presence of the Lord! That is where our soul will find rest. (see Psalm 23) Seek Ye First The Kingdom Of God! 

Blow The Trumpet In Zion!

Joel 2:1, “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand.”

The people were instructed to correct the wrongs in their lives, to deal with their stuff, the baggage they were dragging around. The priests, the ministers of the Lord, were commanded to take the lead in this sacred work of penitence. They are compelled by the great weight of the national transgressions to stand weeping and praying between the porch and the altar. It was there in the open court that the priest, with his face toward the altar where the sacrifice was offered, turned his petition toward God in supplication for the sins of the people.

Joel's cry was to the elect, the chosen of God, His beloved. We need to sound the alarm in Zion. Can we truly feel that we have obeyed God completely when there is such a great need in our world? A need for our altars to be filled with saints and sinners alike seeking God for divine revelation and intervention. We cannot complete our mission without Him. We need and must have a fresh wind of Holy Ghost power. As a whole, the Body of Christ must return to Pentecost and receive anew the power of the Holy Ghost. Then we are enabled to be actively engaged in this harvest.

Let us all cry out with the priests of God, “Spare the people, oh Lord.” Joel's petition was to entreat God to deliver His people, not because they deserved it but for His own glory. Lord, restore your reputation in us. Let it be said that the Lord God Jehovah dwells among His people. That's what struck fear in the hearts of the enemies of God's people, that God was in their midst. The only thing that strikes fear in the heart of our archenemy, Satan, is that God lives in us, that we are possessed by God's eternal spirit. Spare your people, Lord, that the heathen should not rule over them.

May God manifest Himself within the daily lives of each believer. Through His abiding presence, we will throw off the encumbrances that have silently crept in. Throw off the doubt that has slipped in due to the lack of manifestation of Christ's presence in the Church. Break the chains of oppression that has gripped us due to the lack of freedom in the Holy Ghost. Throw off the cloud of ignorance that has anesthetized us because we have not received a fresh word from God.

Wake us, oh Lord, to the full measure of your truth. We will not be content with only the similitude of truth. Baptize us in your truth. Immerse us in your person. Let us put on the Lord Jesus Christ and be a representation of Him because He is in us.

Until You Come,

I will search for you as a newborn baby searches for his mother's milk. I will rely on you to take care of me...

Until You Come,

I will rise early and sit with you before the demands of the day push you aside and leave me anxious, frustrated, and feeling hopeless...

Until You Come,

I will wait for you with my eyes wide open. I won't allow the rushing waters of distraction to drown me and cause me to miss your appearing…

Until You Come,

I will stay in close communion with you, waiting for your response and listening for your voice...

Until You Come,

I will sing your song of sweet redemption, your song of new life...the song of life over death... the one that brings me freedom...

Until You Come,

I will remember who you are and the price you paid for me. You purchased me with your blood, and I am yours...

I will remember to whom I belong, Until You Come!

Jesus Will Return When The World Least Expects It!

Matthew 24:44, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

Today, we stand at the door of the most important event in our lifetime. We are preparing for the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our challenge is to make ready the bride to be united with the bridegroom. She will be chaste, pure, and an undefiled virgin bride prepared for her husband.

The external forces in our world are pressing in upon the boundaries of holiness and righteousness that are firmly established in God's Holy Word. The ideals of a carnal theology have infiltrated the pulpit and diluted the faith that was once delivered to the saints. But the Holy Spirit is the keeping power of the Body of Christ. He will lead and guide us into the Truth of His Word and sustain us until He comes!

Many voices are claiming to speak for God. Although God uses human vessels to share His message, we need to know Him for ourselves. We must know God through an intimate relationship and hear directly from Him by the Holy Spirit. God will speak to His children and give the guidance that we need!

The Holy Spirit and the Word will teach us the Truth. The Holy Spirit will help us to understand the events we are seeing take place in our world every day. When we read God's warnings in His Word and see the events around us lining up with the Word, we must conclude that we are living in the End Time and approaching the culmination of all things. The Body of Christ will be ready and waiting for Christ’s return, but the world will not be prepared! Which group do YOU belong to? 

Lord, Write Your Words Upon My Heart! by Myra Boozer

Lord, write Your Words upon my heart today. As I sit under Your wonderful baby blue sky, I hear many sounds, but the most prominent are the birds singing their songs of praise to You. The sun is shining through the pines, and the smell is so refreshing, pure, and clean. I feel a slight yet gentle breeze blowing upon this fleshly body. My own heart's beginning to sing of Your great splendor as I delight myself in Your peaceful beauty and rest.

The beauty of Your handiwork is so enormous! To think that You would create such a place for mankind to live, to love, and enjoy is amazing to me. I feel so honored to have been allowed to experience life, enjoy family, and to know You as my Lord and Savior.

How can anyone not believe in You? How can they see the beauty and the mystery of life and not know there is a much higher power, and that power is You. You are the Lord God Almighty! You express Yourself in all I see, in all I experience, and all I plan to experience in the days ahead.

I cannot find words to express my feelings about Your exceedingly great mercy for mankind. I am many times overtaken with grief for this beautiful world and the souls that don't seem to discern Your Coming and the culmination of all things. How can they not see, how can they not believe, how can they continue to resist Your tugging on their hearts? They only need to think rationally for a few moments to understand Your love, Your power, and Your plan for mankind.

Your love is superior to any love known to man. It cannot be duplicated or cloned by mortals. It flows from Your Holy Throne, pure and undefiled. There is no one like You. Your power is beyond all our imagination. No one is capable of keeping the oceans in place, hanging the stars out to shine just at the right time, send the rain, or make a rainbow. You are perfect in all of Your ways, and Your Kingdom is never-ending!

Is Anything Too Hard For God?

You are mighty, Oh God, in the midst of your people. Who can stand against Your beloved as You dwell among them? How Great and Mighty You are, Your Wonders ready to perform. Is anything too difficult for You? “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” Jeremiah 32:17. There is nothing, absolutely nothing that God can’t do. Put your faith and trust in Him today!

"Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit of God, when I survey the awesomeness of who you are, I stand in wonder of your person. You are the Creator of all things, yet you are my Father. You are the Life and Sustainer of all things created, yet you are my Life and more abundantly. You are my Way, my Truth, and my Life. In you I live and move and have my entire being. You are the power of Almighty God inhabited within the person of the Holy Spirit, as witnessed in the book of Acts. Yet you are my Strength, my Power, my Comforter, and my Teacher. You are the Divine and Magnanimous Person who inhabits all of eternity, yet you are my Friend, my Companion, my Heart, and my Soul. There is no one like you!”

Psalm 46:1, “...God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Jesus Is Always Near! by Myra Boozer

“When I walk by the wayside, He is along with me...Amid all my forgetfulness of Him, He never forgets me.” Thomas Chalmers

Oh, the days I look for Him, the days I think, "Where are you, Lord?" I cry out to him, please come and fill my longings and let me know you are here. I wish I could remember that He is always near and never leaves me, but trouble overtakes me, and my heart begins to break. Just for a moment, my forgetfulness rises up, and I despair as Peter did over the stormy weather. Peter was walking on the water to Jesus! Wow, but the winds were overwhelming to his mind. He must have actually forgotten the miracle that was happening right under his feet.

Matthew 14:28-31, "And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come and when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. BUT when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying Lord, save me."

How many times is God making a way when there seems to be no way? But one puff of wind from the evil one blows us right off track. We must be like Peter and CRY out in our desperation, "LORD save me." We must never forget that He is ever near when the enemy starts howling and putting up a fight. We must have our minds centered on Jesus and remember that he never changes. Jesus Is Always Near! "For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5 

The Gift Of God Is Eternal Life! Conclusion

God’s desire is for all men everywhere to be saved. 1 Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all...” God has prepared the way through the gift of His only Son. The penalty for sin has been paid. All one needs to do is repent of his sins and accept the Lordship of Christ in his life.

Pray this prayer with me and receive God’s unspeakable GIFT of salvation. “Lord Jesus Christ, I desire to be saved from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment. Thank You for paying the penalty for my sin. I believe You gave Your life to ransom my life. I believe You died on the cross, but You rose victorious over death, hell, and the grave on the third day just as You had promised. I’m tired of my life of sin. From this moment forward, I give my life to You. I belong to You. Use me for Your honor and glory, and give me an eternal home with You in heaven. Thank You for Your GIFT of eternal life! Thank You for saving me! Amen!”

I Hope You Dance! by Myra Boozer

Surrender is hard for most of us. We have all the answers, and we don't want to give in to anyone. But, it would be nice to be swept off our feet and held in the arms of God for a time of refreshing, a time of laughter, a time of release from this old world and all its cares. The road seems long and tiring on some days, and our cares become attached, as though they are determined to stay and drag us down... way down.

But, as we listen to the voice calling in the distance, "Come to me, my child, and I will carry you, I will give you rest." It becomes a silver-lined invitation on the best stationery you could ever envision. An invitation to lay down all that is bothering you, all that has crept upon you when you were just going about your normal routine of life...

He is calling, and He is waiting with arms open wide. So, what is stopping you? Go ahead, surrender to His voice, yield to His call. “Let God have you and Let God love you, and don't be surprised if your heart begins to hear music you have never heard before."

I pray you surrender, laying every burden down at His feet, allowing Him to lift you above all the cares that so easily beset you. Allow Him to sweep you off your feet and dance. Yes, I hope you dance...

"Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing..." Psalm 30:11.

The Gift Of God Is Eternal Life!

Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Jesus died for us when we were dead in our sins and doomed to an eternity in hell! Our frail human mind is incapable of fully comprehending the magnitude of God’s gift to us. How can someone whom we haven’t previously known be willing to sacrifice His only Son for our benefit? Romans 5:6, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

When we knew not how lost we were, God had planned for our total and complete deliverance. Through the precious blood offering of His Son, Jesus, the pure and spotless Lamb of God, the penalty for sin was paid. God loved us when we were still sinners.

Jesus died for us, and we are justified by His blood. We are saved from the wrath of God as we look to the cross and believe. When the sin in us made us enemies of God, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son. We have now received life through the atonement for our sin by Christ Jesus. He died and rose again to provide our deliverance, to free us from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment. (continued)
