Are You Drifting? by Myra Boozer

Have you noticed how we drift into different ways of living? For example, some people just take life so slowly and easily and don't really want to go anywhere, happy where they are. While others are always in the fast lane with places to go and people to see. They are so busy having fun and accommodating their latest find in food or entertainment that they almost live in a whirlwind.

D. A. Carson said, "People DO NOT DRIFT toward holiness...Apart from grace-driven effort, people DO NOT gravitate toward godliness, prayer, obedience to Scripture, faith, and delight in the Lord...We drift toward compromise and call it tolerance; we drift toward disobedience and call it freedom; we drift toward superstition and call it Faith. We cherish the indiscipline of lost self-control and call it relaxation. We slouch toward prayerlessness and delude ourselves into thinking we have escaped legalism. We slide toward godlessness and convince ourselves we have been liberated..."

Age makes a difference in our pursuit of life and what it offers, but I believe we have drifted until many don't know how to find God. Start where you are and surrender ALL to Him. Then, we must pursue HIM until He catches us, captivates and changes us into His image... no longer trapped by the worldly attractions and sounds... no longer drifting on the sea of time... But looking unto our Blessed Hope, who is coming to rescue us from this world and its alluring, deceptive ways. Are You Drifting?

(A ship that loses its propulsion capability flounders helplessly and is at the mercy of the winds and waves. Without the spiritual dynamic of Holy Spirit power, we will flounder helplessly at the mercy of the winds and waves of life.)

The Ways Of Man Are Right In His Own Eyes!

Proverbs 21:2, “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.”

I have noticed in my latter years that there is one thought that continues to present itself in my walk with God. “Live every day of your life with the end in mind.” Our vision of the end will invariably determine the subject of our focus on each and every day of our lives. With that in mind, I continue to reach for the Truth of God to envelope my soul and deliver me from this house of flesh.

Are you searching for the Truth, or are you looking for something that will fit your list of Religious principles? Solomon stated that every “man is right in his own eyes.” Our human tendency is to justify what we want. We want so badly to think that what we believe is the Truth; consequently, we try to make the Scriptures fit our lives. The correct approach is to make our lives fit the Scriptures. When we attempt to remake God’s standard to fit our ideals and values, we drastically diminish the power of God’s Word, limiting it to only what we receive and understand.

Is it the Truth because we comprehend it to be so? Truth is Truth regardless of whether we receive it or understand it. Truth is not based on our perception, acceptance, or denial. Truth is the very character of our Creator. God is Truth! And His character is revealed to us through the Scriptures and in the persons of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Jesus stated in John 14:6, “...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Jesus promised His disciples an Advocate to come after His departure and declared that Advocate to be the Spirit of Truth. John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

If we want to understand Truth, we must cultivate a personal relationship with the one who is Truth. To receive and understand Truth is to receive the Lord Jesus Christ, submit to His counsel, be obedient to His discipline, and walk in total surrender to Him. If we continue to walk in obedience and seek the revelation of God’s Word, we will move forward in Truth. (continued)

Jesus Will Make All Things New! by Myra Boozer

Revelation 21:5, “And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.”

Lord, may we cast off any and all distractions that keep us from focusing on You. Those things that devour our time, leaving us tattered and worn, even frazzled in our thinking. The things that pull us down into despair. May we discard them for today as you draw us into Your domain.

May we turn our thoughts to resting in YOU and your precious mercy, that You so graciously extend by Your right hand. May we sit in Your presence and be renewed, refreshed, and revived. May we feel the touch of Angel wings upon our faces as we measure the depth of Your unfailing love.

May we feel your gentle hand upon our cheek as you dry our tears. Yes, Lord, may we cast aside all that is pulling and draining our very souls. May we know without a doubt that you are taking care of every worry and every heartbreak, as we climb up into your lap and lay our heads on Your big shoulder. You are our Loving Father! May we never grow so wise in our thinking that we fail to remember we are a child, Your Child! We are Yours, Lord! May we never forget Your great Love for us!

The Day Is Coming To A Close!

Luke 24:28, “And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further. 29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.”

Jesus would have continued on His journey except that His disciples constrained (to cause a person to give in to pressure) Him to “abide with us.” Jesus’ disciples compelled Him to stay with them. As I read these words, I am drawn to the idea that they compelled Jesus to abide with them. The day was gone, and twilight was coming on. The end of the day had come, signaling the end of the day’s work.

We will soon come to the end of our day and the end of our work. The day is almost gone, and twilight is coming on. What we do for Christ, we must do it quickly. We must use the precious time He is giving us to finish His work. Jesus said of Himself in John 9:4, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” The night is upon us, and no one will work. The time for work will be over. Nothing can distract or detour us from the mission Christ has given us. Complete TRUST in the leading of the Holy Spirit is essential to our victory and salvation for all who will hear this message! The Day Is Far Spent!

Be A Well Of Life! by Myra Boozer

Proverbs 10:12, "Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins."

Hatred will continue to stir up strife. We must determine, by the Grace of God, NOT to be part of that group. People given over to hatred have become instigators who take pleasure in unrighteousness, stirring up much conflict. These are wolves who prey on the quiet, the shy, the passive, and sometimes insecure Christian. These wolves seem to become bolder and more aggressive as the days go by.

I pray, “God give us a voice to speak your TRUTH in love and never out of anger or frustration as the world is doing.” May we NEVER join the ranks of those who stir up strife in these Last Days. Why? Because its reward is never peaceful but full of conflict. Jesus didn't get defensive with those who came against Him, even to the point of killing Him. He is our great example of a peacemaker.

To be angry is not a sin, but to let that emotion rule is what Satan desires, especially in the lives of those who follow Christ. He desires to confuse, hurt, and eventually destroy you. We must be aware that Satan wants a foot in the door of our hearts.

Many are struggling to know how to defend the Word without being defensive or offensive. They are confused with all the chatter from the enemy, but have a great desire to defend what they believe to be Truth.

Lord, cover us in your righteous love and grace that the words we speak will be a light to someone's path and not a blinder to their vision of YOU. Transform us, Lord, into the people you created us to be, People of Courage, Hope, and Love speaking words of life to the lost.

Proverbs 10:11, "In the mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked." Be A Well Of Life!

In The Name Of Jesus!

John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

There is power in the name of Jesus! There is power to break every chain. Power to live for Christ and walk in unbridled victory. Free to flow in the Spirit and experience His presence from glory to glory. He leads us up, higher and higher, into His Majesty. Having been exposed to His glorious Light, we will never be the same.

We are changed in His presence. We can never be the same once His glory has shown upon us. We are changed forever, and He has planted such a desire to reach higher. His presence is so addictive that no sooner than you walk away, you have an unquenchable need to return.

And we can return again and again. There is no limit to the glory we can experience in His presence. Simply come to Him in obedience and submission, and He will carry you to heights previously unknown. He will reveal to you truths you haven't understood and emotions you've never experienced. But most of all, He will reveal Himself to you and in you so that the world around you can see Him and be touched by Him, “that the father may be glorified in the Son.”

Where Are You? Conclusion by Myra Boozer

(for part 1 see 5/17/26)

My question is Where Are You? Are you living in the garden with constant communion and fellowship with the LORD your God? Or do you feel you're across the tracks, just struggling on your own? Are you in a place of no hope, no relief from the push and shove of this sinful world? Are you always feeling blamed or blaming someone you love because of the increasing pressure in your life? Are you living a life of defeat in the midst of constant confusion as to the choices you're making? Do you stumble at the simple things in life because you don't know the direction to take? Are you feeling helpless and hopeless with every decision you need to make for your very survival? Where Are You?

Some may feel they are making it just fine. Jesus said in Revelation 3:17, "...thou sayest, I am rich and increased with goods and need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked." The good news is found in the fact that SOMEONE has the answer. Someone knows just where you are, and He can rescue you. He can pull you out of the darkness, the confusion, the helpless situation. You don't have to remain where you are. The choice is yours and yours alone. No one can make you look up! Or reach up! Or call out to God but YOU!

When the loud, wailing sound of disaster strikes, even those who have pushed God aside, those who have tried to hide their "nakedness" from him, will cry out. Come and save me, Jesus! He knows just where you are and will come immediately. He will cover your nakedness with His robe of righteousness. Where Are You?

Why Settle For Less?

John 10:7, “Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Why would you settle for less than the very best your life could possibly be? It all depends on who or what you put your trust in! The system of this world will let you down. We cannot place our trust in the hands of mortal men but must seek out the “life giver” who already has a plan, His plan for our lives.

If we will obey His call, He will fully implement His Divine “order” in us and through us. Order suggests the way objects in space or events in time are arranged or follow one another. God knows where we need to be at any given time so He may bring forth His Divine purpose in us. He is vividly aware of the best possible path for our lives. He sees our future and knows the way we should take.

Some people thought that electing Donald Trump as president of the United States was the answer to all that ails us. Other people think that electing a Democrat as president will bring a solution to all our problems. However, our political systems do not have the answer we need. Our religious systems do not have the answer. The political systems and the religious systems of our world will usher in one world government and one world religion. That is definitely not the answer, but it is fulfilling the prophecy of the Bible. What we need, what our nation needs, and what our world needs is the Lord Jesus Christ. All other sources will ultimately fail us. “..I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Why Settle For Less?

Where Are You? by Myra Boozer

Many times during the day, when our grandson was little and here, we would hear these words, “Where are you, Papa?” Or, “Where are you, Nana?” This is an important question for a young child. When this question was asked, we didn't hesitate. We would respond quickly!

I want to ask you that question today. Where are you? You may say I am at home or on the job. Maybe you are in school or in the Military. You could even be on vacation, seeing the many beautiful sights in our world. This is what we think of when the question is asked. We respond to where we are physically.

In Genesis 3, God asked Adam that question, "And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?" This is the response that Adam gave, "And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?" The answer Adam gave has stuck with us down through the ages. "And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, SHE gave me of the tree, and I did eat." It is the transfer of accountability to someone other than ourselves. We have a very hard time accepting responsibility for our actions. So, we blame someone else for where we actually are in our lives.

I truly understand disappointment, heartbreak, broken homes, verbal abuse, lack of security, and unworthy condemnation. But with all that, we are still responsible for how we respond to life and all it brings. We alone are responsible for the choices we make. Adam could have answered, “NO” to Eve. He could have reminded her of the command that God gave them about not eating of that one tree. Only one tree was forbidden. In the next verse, God asked Eve, "What is this thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I DID eat."

I do not read anymore of God communing with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day. However, I did read where "...God sent them forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken, so he drove out the man;" Genesis chapter 3. There are definitely consequences to all our decisions! (continued)

Where Else Could We Go Except To Jesus?

John 6:63, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him...66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.”

I begin each day intending to fulfil God’s will and execute His commission here. I am empty except for what God puts in me. There are no words except that God should speak and give them. There is no song unless He composes and sings the melody. Where can we go except to go to God and go with God? He is the one who gives purpose to our living! We are an empty hollow shell without His influence in every aspect of our lives.

Where Could We Go? Jesus is the one with the words of eternal life! Listen intently for His voice and follow Him to where He is leading! Where else Could We Go? Only Jesus has the answer that fits absolutely the needs in our lives!

Walk with Him and receive His Power.

Ask of Him and receive His Wisdom.

Listen for Him and hear His voice.

Praise Him, and He will give you a Song.

Humble yourself before Him, and He will exalt you.

Wait on Him with good courage, and He will strengthen your Heart.

Eat at His table, and you shall be filled.

Delight yourself in Him, and He will give you the desires of your Heart.

Submit yourself, and He will wash you clean.

Give what you have, and He will multiply it.

Sit at His feet, and He will teach you.

Look to Him, and He will show you great and mighty things.

Put your Hope in Him, and you will not be disappointed.

Lift Him high, and others will be drawn to Him.

Love righteousness and hate wickedness, and He will anoint you with Gladness above others.

Remember Him, and you will rejoice.

Let God Arise and his enemies will be scattered.

Call upon Him, and He will answer you.

Seek Him, and You will Find Him.

Discerning Light From Darkness! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 5/15/26)

In Acts 13, we read about the beginning of Paul’s missionary ministry. The leading and anointing of the Holy Ghost was an integral part of Paul’s ministry and gave him the advantage of discerning Light from Darkness. Acts 13:2, “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. 4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.” Notice that it was the Holy Ghost that made the selection and the Holy Ghost that gave the assignment. We must lay our plans aside and petition God to make us part of His Plan.

They preached the Word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. A certain deputy of the country called for Paul and Barnabas, desiring to hear the Word of God. A sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus, opposed them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Acts 13:9, “Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, 10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? 11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. 12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.” The reality of this passage is that those who oppose Jesus Christ really do walk in darkness. The decree of the Holy Ghost brought to fruition the physical reality that the sorcerer was truly walking in spiritual darkness.

The Holy Spirit discerned the “darkness” and called it out. In the power of the Spirit, the darkness was defined and confined. There is no further mention of Bar-jesus in the Bible. The lesson to be learned here is that the judgment of God is sure and final. This was God’s Plan! The Holy Ghost did the choosing and gave the assignment. Therefore, Paul’s mission was under the mantle of Christ and without limitation. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must walk in the Light as the Holy Ghost leads and move in the anointing of His assignment. He will discern the Darkness, Define and Confine. By the power of the Spirit, the power of darkness will be revealed and deposed! By the Holy Ghost, we will Discern Light From Darkness!

Satan Will Oppose You! by Myra Boozer

Isaiah 54:17, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”

Opposition to lives which are yielded to Jesus Christ takes many forms, some dramatic, some subtle. Satan is a clever angel of light, but sometimes he chooses supernatural ways to frighten us into inactivity. During a time at camp with the girls, I was singing outside the cabin after lights-out. The song had the words: ‘Don't be afraid for whatever is coming, your heavenly Father takes care of you.’ Suddenly, I heard horrible noises around me. It seemed as if, among the trees, some sort of beings were trying to make me stop. The noises grew and subsided, sending shivers through my body with their weird tones. While I sang, I pleaded with the Lord: ‘Cover me and protect me with Your blood, Lord Jesus...give me strength to go on singing and speak through me to reach all these girls.’ The noises remained and got louder and more ugly, but I didn't stop. I knew that I stood on the front line of battle, but through Jesus, it was victory ground, not defeat or retreat. As soon as I finished the song, the noise stopped, just as abruptly as it began. I went to bed and thanked the Lord for His victory. The next morning, I asked the girls if they had heard anything unusual the previous night. They answered that they had never heard me sing so beautifully. Nobody heard anything else.” This is taken from Corrie ten Boom's book IN MY FATHER'S HOUSE.

My question is, what is trying to stop you today? Don't let the troubles, trials, or tribulations of this life or anything that Satan would throw in your path stop you from singing the Praises of our Lord. Sing loud and with all your might! Don't give up, we are almost HOME.

Jesus said in this life we would have these troubles, but to not be alarmed because He overcame and so will we through His power that works in us. As we get closer to the return of the Lord, the noise will become louder and louder from the opposition. It is time to arise and stand in the face of the enemy. The world's tactics (or armor) will not fit the Christian. Just like Saul's armor did not fit David, the shepherd boy. It will take the leading, the direction, and the power of the Holy Spirit to defeat the enemy of our day, just like it did in David's day.

We must remember these words as we go out to defeat our giants...”No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD,” Isaiah 54:17. NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER..I GO IN THE NAME OF THE LORD GOD JEHOVAH…

Discerning Light From Darkness!

John 14:23, “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him… 25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

As followers of Jesus Christ, we will suffer persecution and experience opposition at the hands of Satan, the enemy of our souls. In Ephesians 6:10, we are admonished to “be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Our strength and success are dependent upon our obedience to the Word of God and submission to the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus became the living Word among us and indwells this mortal body by the Holy Ghost. The world hated Him, and they will hate all who follow Him. Matthew 10:22, “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”

In a world that is filled with darkness, Jesus has made provision for us to discern the light from the darkness. He promised His disciples that after His departure, He would send the Holy Ghost to be our resident guide, adviser, and protector. When He comes, He will teach you all things necessary for your success and cause you to remember all that He has already taught you. Jesus has taught us to discern light from darkness by the power of the Holy Ghost within us.

It is imperative that we know light from darkness. That is a very simple statement, but I find it to be one of the greatest needs among Christians today. Among all the subjects that we have written about over the past 5 years, the response to subjects about truth and light has been an overwhelming 3 to 1 over any other single theme. People want to know the truth. They want to be able to discern Light and Darkness. It is crucial in these last days, and the indwelling and work of the Holy Ghost is indispensable in this endeavor. The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness! by Myra Boozer

I love the mornings when I open my blinds and the sun comes pouring in. It just makes my day, and I rejoice in the warmth of God's love to all mankind. It is not only warm but also beautiful, and it makes all things beautiful. Sometimes the clutter in my room doesn't look so challenging.

Lord, may we open the blinds of our heart and allow you to SHINE in our world. Darkness has hovered for a night, and the cries for help are getting louder. The lonely, the sick, the forsaken, and forgotten cry out against the pit that has them bound. The prisoners held by sin cry out for freedom...Freedom to be forgiven, loved, and restored!

Who will open the blinds, Lord, and reveal the rays of Hope, the Light of Jesus that dispels the darkness? Who will ARISE and open the blinds, the shield that covers our windows? Lord, we are given the opportunity NOW in this season to be that person who allows YOUR LIGHT to come forth. It will come with a sudden burst of great force when we allow your Spirit to direct and strengthen us. I know only the strong will do this. Help us to be STRONG IN THE POWER OF YOUR MIGHT as we ARISE like a Warrior with the Helmet of Salvation, the Shield of Faith, and the Sword of the Spirit.

Help us Lord, to equip ourselves with your Armor for the challenge before us...Our world is in great need of your LIGHT, the Light that dispels all darkness. Help us to be your hands reaching the lost and your feet to carry the "GOOD NEWS”...our mouth to speak Your Word which is Truth...that it will set the captive free, heal the sick and bind up the brokenhearted...Lord Jesus help us, your Children, to Arise at your command...Amen!” The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness!

The Light Of Your Presence!

Lord Jesus, thank you for the dawn of a new day. Now, it is time to turn to the task at hand. What do you have for your children today? What do you have that we should share with others? Lord, fill us with your WORD so that the overflow is charged with redemption and deliverance. Oh! Come Holy Spirit of God and inhabit every thought, word, and activity. Sanctify us afresh as the place of YOUR habitation. Purge from the very air around us the darkness that infiltrates our world and replace it with the light of YOUR PRESENCE. We feel the intensity of the battle. The Holy Spirit within continues to struggle with the arm of the flesh, for he is ever present. Lord Jesus Christ, help us to die once again that YOU may bring LIFE and more abundantly. Help us to say with Paul the apostle that it is not I that possesses this mortal body, but it is YOU that lives here.

Your reign in our life will affect the world around us for YOUR PURPOSE. We invite you to rule the environment around us. “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Come Lord, take control, lead us to the completion of our assignment here. We must share YOUR message with all men. All must have the privilege to escape the darkness. Send forth YOUR light through the WORD of your mouth, penetrate and dispel the gross darkness that has invaded our land. Release YOUR Holy Spirit fire to burn away the obstructions that hold fast the lost souls of men. Set the Body of Christ ablaze that we burn so intensely that conviction and repentance are the result. May the light of your glory be reflected in our faces, in our walk, and in our message. All to the HONOR and PURPOSE of God. Even so, come Lord Jesus! Amen

Do You Need Confidence? by Myra Boozer

If you are in need of confidence (trust, reliance, assurance), turn your eyes to the Lord Jesus. That is where our help comes from. There is no greater power or greater force than God. Yes, God uses man sometimes to take care of the things that we may need. But, for the one who created this whole universe and hung it in space, He really doesn't need anyone to help Him, but He allows us to be part of His great plan.

Put your trust in Him, and your confidence will rise knowing this. Psalms 40:11, "Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD, let thy loving kindness and thy truth continually preserve me." It is He who gives us life and all that we need ONE DAY AT A TIME. “For in thee, O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God,” Psalm 38:15.

When we truly BELIEVE, then we will be filled with confidence, not in ourselves, but in God. "Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies," Psalm 40:4.

No More Fear!

Luke 24:21, “But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, today is the third day since these things were done.”

How often do we find ourselves in a position of denial and questioning, “Why are these harsh circumstances developing around us?” We are susceptible to crying out in absolute disbelief, “I can't believe this is happening to me!” This position makes us vulnerable and opens the door for Satan to rush in and steal our faith. In extreme cases, our soul can be seized with such life-altering doubt that our Christian service is totally paralyzed, and we cannot proceed further. In that moment, we should run to God and fall upon our faces in prayer! If we seek His face in submission, He will throw off the chains of dejection and depression as we heed the burning desire of the Holy Spirit that lives within us. We are never alone. Heb. 13:5, “...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

We can place our total confidence in the promises the Lord has given us. He will never fail us! What He has promised, He will fulfill, so there is no need to fear!

He Shall Preserve Thy Soul! by Myra Boozer

"The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul" Psalms 121:7

In his writings, David spoke so often of knowing where his help came from. He knew where to look and in whom to put his trust. He knew who his keeper was. His life sustainer was the Lord God Jehovah! Do you know that today? Are you settled in that very important fact?

Psalm 146:2, “While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. 3Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help...5Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: 6Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:” This chapter goes on to tell us what the Lord will do for the oppressed, the hungry, the prisoners, the blind, those bowed down, the strangers, the fatherless, and the widow. These promises are very positive. But then he says in v9, "...But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down." That is a promise also, but it is NOT good! We have the promise that the LORD preserves all those that LOVE Him, but the wicked He will destroy.

My HOPE today is in the Lord, our maker. My HOPE is not in a man or a political system. My HOPE is in the promises of THE BOOK...God's Holy Word. "The Name of the LORD is a strong tower, the righteous runneth into it and is safe," Proverbs 18:10.

When you run to the Lord for His forgiveness and for His protection, STAY THERE. Don't run in and out thinking you can be saved or safe when you keep playing with the world, getting into all kinds of sin. There is much false doctrine, and many are falling for untruth because it sounds good, but it is not TRUTH.

There is only one way, and that is by the blood of JESUS. Don't trample HIS blood by playing with the world and falling for the doctrines of devils. IF GOD SAYS IN HIS WORD THAT IT IS WRONG, IT IS WRONG, AND NO ONE CAN CHANGE THAT.

God is a jealous God! He doesn't accept a half-time relationship. He wants all of our heart. Stay with God, live close to Him, and PRAY. “The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He Shall Preserve Thy Soul.”

There Was Jesus!

1 John 3:1, “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”

We will face trials and testing in the days ahead! But we have a companion who walks with us to provide for every need. Jesus will make a way through every difficult experience. 1 Cor. 10:13, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” We will not face any trial or test that has not been experienced by other human beings. The testing is the same for all, just different faces, with the determining factor for victory being the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in one’s life.

The challenge we face is allowing Jesus Christ to fully control our lives. It is a struggle for us to relinquish our independence and allow Him to lead the way. However, He is immensely more qualified than we are to determine the correct path. He knows the way that we should go. Our heart's cry should be to go where He is going. Therefore, we must submit to His leading to go along with Him. There Was Jesus! He is always there!

Grace And Mercy Are Waiting For You! by Myra Boozer

People are leaving this world every day and going to their final destination. So much death, from little babies to the elderly. Ready or Not we will leave this world either by death or the Rapture. The big question is, “Are you ready to meet God?” Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus? Have you asked God to forgive you of your sins?

God has a great plan for your life here, but if you seem to have missed it somehow, Grace and Mercy are still waiting for you to accept them. Forgiveness is still available for the asking. I know that sounds way too simple, but God made it simple. Truth and Love have been waiting for you to open the door for them to come and invade your life like you cannot imagine. The power of the Holy Spirit wants to lift you above all the mundane living. He wants to set you on a path of Holy living where the river of Life flows freely for all who want to drink fresh, living waters. You will never thirst again!

If you are weighted down by a load of sin and regrets, it can be lifted by the prayer of repentance. You can be lifted by the wings of mercy to live in the realm of peace and joy. Yes, even in this life! There is Abundant Living for all who will surrender, give it up, let it go, and find what God has designed especially for you.

NO, it will not always be easy! It will be hard, almost unbearable at times. But the road (this life) is so much easier to travel when Jesus is your personal guide, and the responsibility to fix everything is not upon your shoulders alone. You will find that He is a constant help in times of need, always listening to your heart's cry and willing to carry you when you can't go on.

Jesus is never far from you and longs to be your dearest friend. He can give hope where there is none because of who He is. Seek Him while He may still be found! Isaiah 55:6, “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:” Grace And Mercy Are Waiting For You!

Jesus' Love Pulls Back The Veil That Separates Us From The Love Of God!

I began this day as I do every day in the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. I see that His love abounds everywhere, even in areas of our world that appear dominated by sin. But, Jesus’ love is there! A love which transcends all obstacles, penetrates into the most remote and isolated crevices of life. Every area of human existence is held in the shelter of His hand.

Your need and my need is laid bare before Him. He knows where we are, what we feel, and what we dream. He sees each despairing thought and feels the anguish that we feel. He identifies with every human experience and emotion that has and will touch our lives. He left His throne in glory, took upon Himself the form of human flesh, so He can tell you today, “I have been where you are, and I feel what you feel.” He experienced the human condition in the fullest sense yet without sin. Heb. 4:15, “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

He is saying to the whole human race, “I understand. I have made a way out. Believe on me as the scripture has said and be free.” You may feel trapped in a place you don't want to be. Give it all to Jesus! He has made a way of escape for you. Trust Him! He knows the way. He is the WAY! Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Look to Him and live!

Jesus Is A Gentleman! by Myra Boozer

You may not like the touch of everyone you meet, but I can assure you the hand reaching down to you from Jesus is one that you want to hold and never let go. He is the only begotten Son of our Heavenly Father. He is reaching for you to become part of this big family. He wants to be your elder brother. He desires to become your closest friend and the one who has your back at all times.

This Jesus is a gentleman! He does not push himself on anyone, but his nail-pierced hand is extended down to where you are. He doesn't demand that you address Him as the Royal person that He is. He just asks for you to reach up to Him and take hold of His loving hand.

This saving Jesus has done more for you than anyone ever has or ever will because of Love, sacrificial Love for you! His heart is broken every time you decline His invitation to accept His deliverance out of your desperation. His love doesn't stop there. He has great plans for your future.

He has gone to prepare a place for you and will return to take you to that place. "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore," Psalms 16:11. Please don't hesitate! There are many in the valley of indecision, a lonely place of doubt and uncertainty. "Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision; for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision," Joel 3:14.

Now, while you have time, grab that hand and hold on. Cry out to the one who loves you more than you can ever love Him back. Today, He desires to be Your Saviour! Soon, He will be Your Judge. Cry out to Him with a willing heart to follow Him. He loves YOU.

Eternal Life Is Your Choice!

God knows where He wants to lead every person in our world today. Every living soul must make the decision to heed the leading of God or to choose the alternative. Many are struggling to define God’s purpose and will for today. All over the world, every person has that choice, and God’s Spirit is striving with us all. It will not be that way always. Genesis 6:3, “And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man...” God is watching the affairs of men. As in Noah’s day, God looked at the wickedness of man and declared an end to it all.

God is dealing with us all as individuals, urging us to follow His path. For some, God will make His presence known in a very strong and profound manner. For others, it may be less conspicuous. However, God will expose the world to His influence, and every person will make the choice to follow or not. Thereby, we choose the course of our lives and the inevitable end of that choice.

Our heavenly Father knows the way that we should take. We must walk close to Him so He may convey His direction to us. He will direct our steps if we will hear and obey His voice. Our relationship must be such that we will hear and willingly consent to His guidance. He will lead us! He will be all that we need Him to be! He will never leave us or forsake us if we will heed His voice and follow Him! Amen! Eternal Life Is Your Choice!

John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Mom, Mother, Mama! by Myra Boozer

You have a new name, Mom, Mother, Mama. Something amazing happens when your name changes to "Mother." You may not even recognize it at first, but over time, you begin to understand the mission, the work God has placed in your hands. You begin to see His plan for you to help shape your children into adults who will, in turn, shape the next generation.

In most cultures around the world, the name "Mother" signifies importance, respect, and hope. Mothers are the teachers, the encouragers, the voices of love and forgiveness.

Mother Teresa said this: "Spread love everywhere you go; first of all in your own house. Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness; kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile, kindness in your warm greeting".

What a beautiful description of motherhood this is! You are the "living expression of God's kindness" to your children, your family, and your community. You are the face, the eyes, and the smile that welcomes each one who comes into your home. Your children are rewarded every time you express yourself in this way. (taken from Applause for MOM)

So thankful for the kindness that was shared with us from our Mother. She was the true expression of God... We were blessed, loved, and disciplined when we did wrong... Taught to love God, others, and our Country... Thankful for all the prayers and encouragement she gave to each of us... She is expecting everyone of us to meet her in heaven, and I pray we do not disappoint her...A mother is a gift to her children, her husband, her family, and her friends.

Cast All Your Cares Upon Jesus!

1 Peter 5:6, “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

The word for 'careth' in the Greek is 'mel'-o', which means 'to care about.' It is a verb, which means it is an action word. Jesus understands our needs and cares to the extent that our needs move Him to action.” He stands ready to intervene at the very moment we need Him!

If we follow the Lord Jesus Christ, He will see to it that our needs are met. We must place our total faith in His promise to do that. Therefore, we are not distracted by the menial tasks of life and can prepare for this spiritual war with our adversary, Satan. Peter says, “Whom resist stedfast in the faith...” We must resist Satan while remaining steadfast in the faith that our provision and sustenance are in Christ’s hands. Jesus invites us to give to Him all our cares, the things that bring anxiety and cause us to be distracted from His plan. He cares for each one of us and will move into action if we will TRUST Him! Cast All Your Cares Upon Jesus!

He Will Speak For Himself! by Myra Boozer

An amazing thing happened to me when I clicked on a picture of Jesus nailed to the Cross of Calvary. The caption was "At the Cross I Bow My Knee Where Your Blood was Shed For Me...There's no greater Love than this." I then saw a comment by someone slandering the name of Jesus and calling the Bible a lie. I knew I had to respond with something in defense of the Lord, but I did not know exactly what to say.

I was blank for a moment, but my Bible was right there by the computer, and I opened it. It opened to the book of Isaiah. The thought came, "I want something in the New Testament," so I turned to the New Testament, and as soon as I did, I felt in my spirit that I had made a big mistake, that it was wrong for me to look further. Immediately, I began trying to find the page I had just left. The pages stuck, leaving about 1/4 of an inch, so I could open back to where I was. My eyes fell on these scriptures. "Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish; That confirmeth the word of his servant and performeth the counsel of his messengers...” Isaiah 44:24-26a.

WOW, I FELT LIKE JESUS WAS HERE SPEAKING FOR HIMSELF! People need to know this Savior. He is my dearest friend, and He helps me EVERY TIME I listen to Him. When we commit our ways to Him, He will direct our path and give us the words to speak for Him. People are looking for help in this present day. They are looking for someone who can show them the way to peace and contentment. Someone to help them get out of the trap of sin that Satan has pulled them into. We sometimes come up blank, not knowing what to say. We need to be still for a moment and give our attention to the Lord God Almighty. He will fill our mouth with the words to say. Or, He will direct us to His Word where He Will Speak For Himself...Amen and Amen!

God Will Address The Evil Of Apostate Religion! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 5/7/26)

God was getting ready to administer His judgment upon this wicked government and apostate religion, and He wanted Elijah to know his role. God was compelled to let him know what He was preparing to do. God was not finished with Elijah just yet and wanted Elijah to know that He still had large numbers of the faithful who had not bowed to Baal. Elijah had a role in bringing God's plan to its completion. God said, Go and anoint Hazael to be king over Syria, Jehu to be king over Israel, and Elisha to be the prophet in Elijah's place (1 Kings 19:17-18).

God’s purpose was to turn the heart of Israel back to Himself! The Apostate Religious rituals offered on her altars were the epitome of Evil, and He was setting the stage for judgment of the spiritual leadership. Those responsible for the perpetrated Evil were suddenly and utterly destroyed.

God is setting the stage to perform a cleansing in the earth. The apostate religious rituals offered on the altars of many churches today are the epitome of evil. God is preparing for the judgment of the spiritual leadership. Those responsible for the evil perpetrated will find themselves suddenly and uttering lost, turned into a desolate darkness where deliverance is not possible. 2 Peter 2:13, “...Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; 14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: 15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;”

The time for correction and change is now! Just as God gave Israel the opportunity to confess and profess the sovereignty of God, He is calling all who will hear to return to the straight and narrow path. Who will heed His call? Luke 13:24, “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:” God Will Address The Evil Of Apostate Religion!

The Way You Live Your Life Will Affect Others! by Myra Boozer

"Now Joseph was well-built and handsome, and after a while his master's wife took notice of Joseph and said, 'Come to bed with me!" But he refused...He stated, "How can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Genesis 39:6-9 NIV.

Have you considered how the way you live your life will affect the lives of those around you? Joseph did...he stayed pure and true to God. He remained true to Potiphar, the Egyptian officer of the Pharaoh. God had a plan for Joseph, and He has a plan for your life also. He wants to bless you and your family. Stay true, no matter the temptations that may come your way. If falsely accused, remain true and pure.

God was with Joseph, and He will be with you. Remember, being in prison was part of the plan. There, Joseph had the opportunity to correctly interpret the King's dream and bring restoration to his own Family. You may not be able to look ahead and see how a critical moment of obedience fits into God's plan for your Life. But, you can pray for strength and a pure heart so that when that day may come, you will have the Power of God in you as Joseph did. Did you know that from the lineage of this Joseph came JESUS CHRIST? Wow, talk about affecting others.

When a person or people do not remain pure, they begin to fall from within. It is horrible the sin that is being uncovered in our world day after day. Some may have thought it would remain hidden forever, but they had to live with the "not knowing" day in and day out. Now, that sin is exposed to all the world. Nothing is ever hidden from God, and sin will always reap its just reward. This is the same lustful and sexual spirit that was on Potiphar's wife.

We can see that sin is running rampant and is causing the decline of life in our world. What was once called evil is now called good, and vice versa. “BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART FOR THEY WILL SEE GOD,” Matthew 5:8. We must know the Word of God to know the difference between good and evil. It is critical for you, your family and our World. Many are deceiving and being deceived in these last days before the return of Christ. Remember, the way you live your life will affect the lives of others and sin is never hidden from God.

God Will Address The Evil Of Apostate Religion!

1 Kings 18:21, “And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? If the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.”

The cause of Israel’s idolatry had to be addressed. Jezebel had infected the pure worship of Jehovah with the idol worship of her ancestral god, Baal. She used her position as queen to force all of Israel to worship Baal. The time had come for Israel to choose who they would follow, and the evil influence of apostate religion had to be eliminated. Elijah ordered that all the priests of Baal be killed to rid the kingdom of their evil influence. Good call, right?

1 Kings 19:1, “And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword.” Jezebel promised to do to Elijah what he had done to her priests, and he ran for his life. He found himself all alone, hiding away in a deep, dark cave, but it was there that he encountered the Almighty Lord God Jehovah. 1 Kings 19:12, “And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. 13And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?”

There are two issues that Elijah was challenged to address. One, how could he justify his hasty retreat in the face of such a victory at Mt. Carmel? And second, could he be used by God to finish his mission? Elijah began to justify his behavior and defend his cowardly retreat. He had been very zealous for God when the children of Israel had forsaken His covenant. They turned to the worship of Baal, having thrown down the altars of the Lord and slain the prophets of God. Elijah proclaimed that he was the only one left; therefore, they sought to take his life. God assured Elijah that there were “7000” who had not bowed to Baal or worshiped his image. God's command was to return to action and finish what God had started. (continued)

Now Has Salvation Come, Strength And The Kingdom Of God! by Myra Boozer

Revelation 12:10, “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

Will you be in that number? The number of Believers...the number of those who will overcome? Will you allow God to break everything unlike Him off your life? Will you allow every stronghold to crumble and fall at His feet? Will you surrender to His Voice as He calls you to take up His cross daily?

Will you be in that number? The number of Believers...the number of those who will overcome? Will you listen to His Direction? Will you follow as He Commands? Will you wash your robes in righteousness and be ready for His Coming? His Coming is at hand! Will you be used in His perfect plan and Reign with Him in His Kingdom?

Then you must break loose from all the chains that bind you. You must seek a Power greater than yourself to deliver you from all the chains of addiction and distraction...to be set free for the awesome task of being the extension of His Arm of strength and deliverance. Be the extension of His loving heart...His kind and gentle spirit...His meek and lowly ways...His patience, slow to anger...His forgiving and accepting ways for those who ask forgiveness, and even those who don't. Be the extension of His Righteous Judgment, bringing counsel to those who have questions...

Can you be of good Courage even in your Garden of Gethsemane? Be strong in this Day of Adversity...be not puffed up with pride and conceit when His Blessings come down like rain. Love your enemies when they say all manner of evil against you. Know you are of the Royal Family, yet love and help those who are living in the gutters of despair.

Lord, we are ever pressing to be like you. We seek to have a broken and contrite heart, allowing you to count us worthy and add us to that number. The number of Believers, the number of those who will overcome, the number who will be like YOU!

Jude 1:20, “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. 24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”

Where Do We Go From Here?

Jeremiah 8:20, “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.”

Jeremiah lamented the future state of Judah! He saw through the prophetic that they would languish in sorrow as a people who had failed to reap the spring or summer harvest. God had presented them with the opportunity to repent and return to His provision, but they insisted upon holding to their false gods. They had to make a decision, and that decision would determine their future.

Much in the same way, I lament the future state of our nation and our world, seeing that mankind as a whole has refused the gift of grace in Jesus Christ. What does the immediate future hold for the world, our nation, and each individual? God alone knows what is ahead, and only He can position us where we really need to be. However, we must come to Him now in repentance and submit our will to His.

Where Do We Go From Here? The choices and decisions we make now will determine where we go in the coming days and the impact we will have on the world around us. “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” John 4:35

Stand Strong In The Word! by Myra Boozer

Matthew 4:4, “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

Are you standing against every argument that raises itself against the Word of God? Many are the imaginations and arguments that come into your mind, telling you all the negative, telling you just what Satan would have you to believe. You MUST stand against those arguments because God's Word is TRUTH. It is the compelling force behind everything pure and holy, righteous and true. It is your weapon to fight the enemy of your mind.

2 Corinthians 10:5, "Casting down imaginations, and EVERY high thing that exalteth itself against the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD, and bringing into captivity EVERY thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to REVENGE all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled." Stand Strong In The Word!

The King Of Babylon Is Coming!

(for part 1 see 5/4/26)

Jeremiah 27:9, “Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:”

In this passage, God was preparing the tribe of Judah for a time of captivity in Babylon. This captivity was punishment for their disobedience and rebellion; however, it would lead them to a time of repentance and restoration. The people’s prophets were telling them that Nebuchadnezzar would not come. But Jeremiah was saying that was not true, and the King of Babylon did come. The people were carried away captive to Babylon.

We may be oppressed by the King of Babylon for a period of time, but in the end, we will rise in glorious victory. What can we do? We can seek God and know that He is directing us in everything we say and do. We can petition Him to reveal the opportunity for us to serve His purpose and mission even in the time of oppression and persecution. He will open the doors of service and ministry as we seek His will and direction.

The coming oppression and persecution will purge the arm of the flesh from the Church. It will take the fire of trials and suffering to separate the gold from the dross. Job 23:10, “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job is a good example of a faithful, obedient child of God.

When Jesus returns, only those who have made themselves ready will go with Him!

Who's Going To Tell Them? by Myra Boozer

Psalm 7:9, “Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. 10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. 11 GOD JUDGETH THE RIGHTEOUS, AND GOD IS ANGRY WITH THE WICKED EVERY DAY.” (emphasis added)

This may be hard and difficult for some Preachers to Preach. But someone needs to tell people who live wickedly that God is angry. There is so much wickedness going on in our world. God is certainly not happy with them! You can read Psalms 7:12-16 and see what He has in mind for the wicked. Verse 16 states, "His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate." I thought there was an error, but the word "pate," according to Webster, means the head, especially the top of the head. I believe it is time for REPENTANCE unless people want to meet an angry God. Who's Going To Tell Them?

Love Not The World, Neither The Things In The World!

1 John 2:15, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

Where are your affections? As Christians, our focus should be on our relationship with God rather than our relationship with the world and its system. We are in the world but are not of the world if we have been born again (born from above). We have been reborn from a person of the flesh and fleshly control into a spiritual creation of the Spirit of God. Our instruction comes from God through the Holy Spirit. We are citizens of the Kingdom of God and are not dominated by the politics of this worldly system.

Are our lives affected by the world we live in? Most definitely! However, our allegiance is to a higher power, a higher authority, and we do not bow to the constraints of this worldly system. Although we are prisoners in this body of flesh, we are free in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our governance. Does that give us the authority to refuse the law of our land? God’s law must receive preeminence over any earthly law that contradicts God’s law. The law of God is greater than any earthly governance.

Today, as disciples of Jesus Christ, we find ourselves at odds with the morals and practices of our world systems of government and religion. We shouldn’t find that surprising if we are really following the tenets of the Bible. Generally, it has been that way for the people of God since the beginning. Satan has always had a system of rule and control opposing the authority of God. And He (Satan) will continue to grab all the control he can until he declares himself to be the Christ and rules the world from the temple in Jerusalem! (continued)

Signs Of The Times! by Myra Boozer

One of the greatest signs we have in this day concerning the End Times is the evil and corrupt spirit that prevails in our world. It is so unified in setting up this new world order. An order without decency, truth, and justice. One filled with deceit and hypocrisy. Closer to the end, only those who deny God and His ways will be accepted by this world system.

This system is being fueled by selfish individuals who want nothing to do with Truth or Righteousness. They are all about controlling and promoting what they think is acceptable. They want to make all the calls and say what is offensive to them. They don't want any part of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit or any person who professes Christ.

They don't want to retain God in their minds. So as a Christian, just your existence reminds them of who THEY actually are. They are made aware that God IS, and they will be judged unholy and unrighteous in His sight because of their choices unless they REPENT.

Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin," Isaiah 30:1.

Jesus wants to be their Savior today. But He will definitely be their Judge one day. I Samuel 15:23, "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry." God have Mercy on this world. Truly, Signs Of The Times!

This World Is On A Collision Course With The Judgment Of God!

1 John 2:15, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

Satan has always had a system of rule and control opposing the authority of God. Paul tells us in the New Testament that things are going to get worse in the last days. We must admit that the events of the past few years are the fulfillment of that prophecy. We are living in the last days and will continue to see mankind rush madly into eternity until the Lord says it is enough.

We must stay strong in the Lord and stand in the power of His might. Our battle is not with flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness at the highest level. Satan has launched an all-out assault upon all of God’s creation. His goal is to destroy everything and everyone that he can. He doesn’t care about the loss of life or property. He couldn't care less if our cities, businesses, or homes are burned to the ground and destroyed. His ultimate goal is to create chaos and disorder and cause us all to feel like there is no hope for a future.

But there is hope, and that hope is in Jesus Christ. There is a future, and that future is in Jesus Christ. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end,” Jeremiah 29:11. We may be oppressed by the King of Babylon for a while, but in the end, we will rise in glorious victory.

Jesus Is Our Hiding Place! by Myra Boozer

What are you looking for today? What are you seeking after? Many are looking for answers to some difficult questions. I think more than ever we want to feel safe and secure in these perilous times. We want to have peace of mind when we go to work or into the marketplaces, when we send the children to school, and when we lie down at night. These are the thoughts that trouble many people.

We can find what we need in Jesus! When we call, He will answer us, bringing what we need when we need it. In Matthew 7:7-8, Jesus proclaims, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For EVERY ONE that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

David said in Psalm 27:4, "One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple." David wasn't talking about staying in the temple every day, but he was talking about dwelling in God’s presence all his days. In verse 5, he states, "For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall he hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock." David was very confident that God was his pavilion or covering and also his sure foundation. David felt safe in the love of God. We can also, but we need to know how to seek Him.

Psalm 27:8, "When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek." So many times we seek His hand, which is his provision. But He told David, “seek my face,” my person, who I AM. When we truly seek Him, we live in His house, pavilion, tabernacle, His presence. When we dwell there, we are set upon the rock, a firm foundation. The very best thing we can seek is the face of the Lord! Oh, to know Him, to really know Him, to cherish him like we cherish nothing else, in a very personal way.

When you love someone, you want to share life with them. You don't just visit them on Sunday. They become the center of your everyday life. The Lord doesn't want us out on the porch. He wants us to come into His pavilion and dwell with Him. There we will find the answers to our questions and peace for our minds. Jesus Is Our Hiding Place!

The Battle For Your Soul!

1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”

The devil is like a wild animal seeking to devour you. He is attempting to destroy everything and everyone associated with God. The spirit of Antichrist is growing stronger with each passing day. His followers are becoming more vocal and more active. Their goal is to destroy everything affiliated with Jesus Christ. This is the rise of Satan's last-days influence, setting the stage for the beast in the prophecies of Daniel and John in the book of Revelation.

This conflict between good and evil has manifested itself through the centuries with an ebb and flow of severity. However, the consequences of the conflict can be directly related to the rebellion of man against the laws and sovereignty of God. This is a conflict between the Light of Heaven and the powers of Darkness. Satan’s war has always been against the Sovereignty of Almighty God, and the man of flesh is his pawn in this conflict.

Although times of evil and darkness have gripped the earth in centuries past, the grand finale is still to come. Satan is preparing for his last stand. He knows his end and will do everything in his power to destroy all he can. He has targeted world governments, world leaders, Christian leaders, families, and individuals. His goal is to destroy order and control. He wants to create total chaos.

The course of human history is directly related to the willingness of mankind to seek after and follow the sovereign will of God. In recent years, we have seen a dirgression from Biblical morals and values and a more rapid deviation from Biblical principles in the past decade. This behavior has brought us to where we are as a nation and a world community.

The consequences of rebellion will rule eternity. How we respond to the voice of God will determine our future and the future of all who will hear us. We must understand where we are on God’s timetable! We must remain alert and watchful to escape the cataclysmic events just ahead! Sound the alarm!!!

Oh! Beautiful Day! by Myra Boozer

Psalm 28:7, "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth and with my song will I praise him.”

Oh, beautiful day that we have today! Hope you're planning to grasp every handful of life given to you. Don't be afraid to step out and enjoy this day, one step at a time. With God holding your hand and lifting your head to see His beautiful creation, you may see things that you haven't seen in a while. It may be through pain or tears that you have to look, but please look and know He is with you. When you fix your heart on Him, blessings will flow down even faster than your tears.

Oh, how my heart does sing as my eyes behold the beauty of God’s creation and display of His majestic handiwork. The canvas is so enormous with the formation of clouds that only God Himself could put in place. I think of His return when the light comes spraying out from above and beneath. It almost takes my breath away. I sometimes feel I’m about to move into His realm of beauty and leave this world far behind! Oh! Beautiful Day!

Lord, Keep Us Safe Til The Storm Passes By!

Daniel 6:10, “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.”

The prophet Daniel was not so different from you and me. He lived in a time of displacement and captivity for his people. He struggled to remain at peace with his captors and remain true to the Lord God Jehovah. But when he was forced to choose, he always chose God.

Daniel made an open show of his allegiance to God (Daniel 6:10). Daniel prayed as before! His prayer life was the foundation for his existence, both present and future. When the enemy tested his love and loyalty to God, Daniel continued doing what he did every day. The die was cast and the pattern established. Therefore, Daniel held to his faith in God, and God delivered him.

The substance of our life in Christ must be established before the storm comes. We must know that the foundation of our life is built upon Jesus Christ, and all other ground is sinking sand. Therefore, when the trials of life test us, we continue doing what we have always done. We pray and trust God, and He will deliver us once again!

God reveals Himself and our future in Him during these times of intense trial. It is during those times that we seek guidance and rely so heavily upon Him. He uses our faith and our dependence on Him to lead us into our future with Him!
