Life Is A Journey! by Myra Boozer

"Life is a journey, not a home, a road, a city, or habitation. The enjoyments and blessings we have are but little Inns on the roadside of life where we may be refreshed for a moment, so we may press on to the end with new strength."

Our lives will come to an end one day because this is not our home. We are just passing through, and it seems very quickly. "The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away," Psalms 90:10.

We have a choice of where we want to live at the end of this journey. The roads we choose to travel have everything to do with where we will spend eternity. There is a highway of holiness that leads to eternal life. "And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called the way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein," Isaiah 35:8. Sometimes this road seems hard to climb, because it is the narrow way, and not many want to travel this road, so you may not see all your friends. Don't fret. Jesus said in His Word, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee," Hebrews 13:5b.

WARNING! Don't go the broad way, the road that is most traveled. It may at first appear to be the right road because so many travel it and seem happy. They talk about the lights, the beautiful sights, the fun and pleasures. Remember Moses? "Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season:” Hebrews 12:25.

ALERT! The broad road leads to DESTRUCTION. "For wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be that find it," Matthew 7:13b.

God left us the road map, His Holy Word. He left us a guide, His Holy Spirit. In John 14:1-7, Jesus tells us not to be troubled. He also said that in His Father's house are many rooms, and He Himself was going to prepare us a place. He promised He would return and take us there. We don't have to figure out every detail, but we do have to trust in Jesus with all of our heart. He said, "I am the way, the truth and the life."

This journey is coming to a close one day. I am trusting in Jesus that I will wind up in God's Big House with friends and family whom I love dearly. Hope to see you there! 

You Can't Replace God's Plan And Have God's Favor!

Jude 1:3-4

You can’t replace God’s plan and expect God’s favor! Jude wrote to identify the apostasy that had crept into the Church in his day. False teachers were presenting Gnostic beliefs as truth. They believed and taught the emancipation of the spirit, while their flesh could do anything it liked, and as a result, they were guilty of all kinds of lawlessness. Vs. 4, "For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Lasciviousness is defined by the Greek word “aselgia,” which means: wantonness, lewdness, sensual. HelpWord studies define it as “violent spite which rejects restraint and indulges in lawless insolence, shameless and defiant, contemptuous expressing deep hatred or disapproval.” The use of this word indicates contempt for and revolt against the plan of God. Carnal men have chosen to reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ and replace it with their own carnal theology.

Jude was also writing to warn future generations to guard against false doctrine. The departure from the “faith” began some time ago. What we are seeing now is the result of rejecting God’s plan and authority. This apostasy, defection, revolt is taking place right before our eyes. As this falling away takes place, we can know that “the day of Christ,” “the day of the Lord,” is at hand. See 2 Thess. 2:1-3.

God’s judgment is upon us because of man’s sinful revolt against His influence in our daily lives. One reason for this impending judgment is the apostasy that has crept into the churches. The ideals of a carnal theology have infiltrated the pulpit and replaced the faith that was once delivered to the saints.

Sin and apostasy must be identified and addressed. Our church leaders are obligated to seek for and teach the Truth. We are bound by our covenant and calling by the Lord Jesus Christ to preach and teach His Gospel. Today, we stand at the door of Christ’s return. Our task is to prepare for the appearing of the Son of God, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. Our challenge is to make ready the bride to be united with the bridegroom. Repentance Will Bring A Glorious Reunion! by Myra Boozer

Revelation 21:27, "And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie; but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."

Over two thousand years ago, evil men set out to kill the Baby Jesus. Many babies had been killed through the ages, but it was not time for JESUS to die. God had a plan for His life. It was not an easy life, but He was faithful, and He endured the cross for the JOY set before Him. He told us in THE LORD'S PRAYER to pray, “...deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever...” Matt. 6:13

Many babies have been killed through the years. We can't do anything for those babes that were overtaken by evil. BUT we can pray for our babies so that we all can be ready when our time comes to leave this world. Jesus has a place, a kingdom where He is the King and no evil can enter...NO MORE DYING...NO MORE HIDING FROM EVIL...NO MORE CRYING AND NO MORE TEARS. ALL WILL BE JOY IN THAT PLACE. OH I WANT TO GO! What a blessed Reunion we will have with all those gone before us.

I believe we will see and hold every one of those precious babies, and I pray that many mothers will be reunited with the baby they never held...the one they thought they couldn't take care of... the one they didn't want or have time for. In some cases, the Mother may have been forced to have an abortion by her parents or guardian. The good news...Repentance makes all things new, pure and lovely. Repentance Will Bring about A Glorious Reunion. That will be such a wonderful day for the Child of God. Our Future is filled with HOPE...Looking forward to the meeting in the air, and “...so shall we ever be with the LORD.” 1Thess. 4:17 

A Portrait Of My Father!

You are mighty, O God, in the midst of your people. Who can stand against Your beloved as You dwell among them? How Great and Mighty You are; Your Wonders ready to perform. Is anything too difficult for You? “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” Jeremiah 32:17. There is absolutely nothing that God can’t do! Put your faith and trust in Him today!

"Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit of God, when I survey the awesomeness of who you are, I stand in wonder of your person. You are the Creator of all things, yet you are my Father. You are the Life and Sustainer of all things created; You are my Life and more abundantly. You are my Way, my Truth, and my Life. In you I live and move and have the entirety of my being. You are the power of the Almighty God inhabited within the person of the Holy Spirit as witnessed in the book of Acts. Yet you are my Strength, my Power, my Teacher, my Advocate. You are the Divine and Magnanimous Person who inhabits all of eternity, yet you are my Friend, my Companion, my Heart and my Soul. There is no one like you! Thank you for loving me! Thank You, My Father!” 

Run To Jesus! by Myra Boozer

When my heart can't find direction, and my thoughts are running wild, I run to my Savior, and I begin to cry. He dries my tears with hands of mercy and looks into my eyes. He knows my burdens and that my tears are for those for whom He died. I tell Him all my secrets and allow Him to mend my wounds. I tell Him how my heart breaks for those I hold dear, for those who once loved Him but walked away and left Him far behind, and for those who are now lonely and exhausted by this life. I call out to Him and ask that He would speak softly, just call out their name. Help them to see there is a better way! Help them see You, Lord, the person You are, the Son of God and Redeemer of this world!

Lord, would You send someone to talk to them, someone they will listen to? Maybe a neighbor, a friend, or a stranger...Someone who would remind them of the treasure they once had and cause them to quickly turn and run to You...because You will be running to them with open arms of mercy, forgiveness, and New Life. You have not forgotten them! You love them still the same! On the cross, You died for all who will call upon Your Name. I Run To Jesus! 

Put Off This Man Of Flesh! Conclusion

Our standard should be modeled after the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. Jesus became the new template, the new and better way, and He delivered the plan in person. He became the living example through which those desiring God are transformed and enter into a living personal relationship with Him.

This transformation is initiated by the renewing of the mind. The Word states, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Phil. 2:5. Have the mind of Christ, rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, and continuing instant in prayer. Walk in this life in Divine communion with the Father, having continued access to His strength, power, wisdom, and deliverance. We cannot think like the world thinks and walk like the world walks and expect to be a citizen of the Kingdom of God and, as such, walk in unrestricted communion with Him. That is why we must experience a change in our temporal mindset, a spiritual transformation brought about by the Holy Spirit in response to our obedience and submission to Him. Thereby, we are restored to a level of communion that man experienced in the garden before his sin. We are regenerated by the Holy Spirit to walk in intimate, holy, and unrestrained relationship with God.

The result of our intimate union with God is to know His perfect will for our life. God has a good, acceptable, and perfect will for each life He has created. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” Jer. 29:11.

The reason many people never fully understand and experience God's plan for them is that they lack that intimacy with God. Because of the mercy and grace of the cross, God will meet us where we are. The redemptive power of Jesus' blood will reach into the deepest darkness to rescue anyone, anywhere. But we must be willing, by the strength of the Holy Spirit, to leave the darkness and step fully into the illuminating power of His Word. By embracing His Truth and walking in obedience, the door is thrown fully open for intimate communion and revelation to “prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Thank you, Jesus!!!

Who Will Listen? by Myra Boozer

Who will listen to the still small voice when He speaks? It won't be the excitable, giddy one who is inflated with self-conceit. Being bound up in pride with an arrogant spirit leaves no room for listening.

It won't be the one who can't be reasoned with because they are stubborn and stuck without understanding, unable to concede.

It won't be the fearful, for it takes courage to receive instruction.

It won't be someone who doesn't welcome change, for God is an advocate for change in its most deliberate form.

It won't be someone who refuses to forgive, for the speaker is the Father of Forgiveness and He requires it.

It won't be someone who ignores the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is the very unction to hear the still small voice.

It won't be someone who doesn't understand trust, because God is all about our leaning on Him.

So Who Will Listen? I think it is the one who is DESPERATE...The one calling out to God for HELP in their Brokenness, the DESTITUTE person who has forsaken all to find God. All else has failed, and they are searching for answers from someone higher than themselves. If that is YOU, there is HOPE! Put Off This Man Of Flesh!

This carnal man must be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. This man of flesh must be born from above, recreated by the Spirit in the image of our Creator.

What God has purposed will require the power of the Holy Spirit to transform this fleshly tabernacle into a spiritual habitation for Himself. “Transformation is a complete or major change in someone's or something's appearance, form, etc.” This process begins with the first step to salvation, which is repentance. Acts 3:19, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” Peter was addressing the Jewish unbelievers regarding their rejection and crucifixion of Jesus, their Messiah. This comes after the healing of the lame man at the gate of the temple. The people marveled at this act. However, Peter said, "You did what you did through ignorance, but God revealed His coming through the mouth of the prophets, and that Christ should suffer and die. Therefore, repent of your ignorance and sinful disobedience and be restored." Through this message, God was giving them another chance for redemption. Repentance is not only a change of mind but a change of heart.

Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Do not live according to the custom or pattern of this current age. We cannot follow the example of the world community and expect to draw near to God. The customs and behavior of our world system are repulsive to God. His command is, “Be ye holy; for I am holy,” 1 Peter 1:16. And again in 2 Cor. 2:16, “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,..” A revelation of Jesus Christ will compel the true believer to desire and seek after a life of holiness. I Search For God! He Finds Me! by Myra Boozer

Lord, please clear the thoughts of all the things I think I must do today. Surround me with Your thoughts and Your desires. Fill every recess of my heart and set my feet on the right path.

Troubles are all around, and the sounds are coming in loud and clear that all is not well. The road of demands is calling for my attention to come to each of them, and each seems desperate.

Slow me down to Your pace, Lord. You are never in a hurry but always right on time. You are never slack when You make a promise. You always follow through. You have this whole universe in Your hands, and nothing is out of Your control. Why can't I be more like You? You are relentless, never letting up. Help me, Lord, because You are greater than all my rush to unfold and rearrange this clutter in my mind.

You seek me as I seek You! We will come together in perfect unity when I slow my pace so I can reach You. Thank You for Your never-ending patience with me. Thank You for always reaching and stretching Your infinite love towards me!

Today will be no ordinary day. Today I will reach for You to allow You to touch me. I will consider Your lofty thoughts. They are so much higher than mine. I will consider Your love that is ever reaching to the lost, the sad, and the broken. I will consider Your strong arms of mercy and grace as they pull in all who are drifting on the sea of ignorance and defeat. They are searching for peace, hope, and love.

So I must reason with myself daily and know that I am not alone in my search for You. When I can be still and shut out the world scurrying all around me, I find You, and You find me! You find me along with the least of mankind or the highly favored in all the world. You are not off limits to the needy and hungry refugee that is searching for You. Neither would you turn away the rich and famous if they would come to You.

I see ME slowly giving up the struggle and You accepting my humanity. Thank you, Jesus! I Search For God! He Finds Me! 

God Will Make A Way!

1 Corinthians 10:13, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

As I contemplate the conditions in our world, I am reminded of how really important it is to believe in a living God who wants to be intimately involved in my life. And He wants to be involved in your life in the same way. Actually, He desires to be involved in every detail of each and every life on the face of the earth.

Presently, people are dealing with very difficult situations and circumstances all over the world. Humanity is in a crisis. We need to know the solution to our dilemma. We need answers to stabilize this volatile environment.

I don’t know how you are feeling right now, but I can imagine the varying levels of fear, confusion, frustration, and helplessness that many are experiencing. Our future doesn’t appear too promising if you only look at the current conditions in our world. But there is a solution to each and every problem that we face. God will make a way! Jesus Christ is the Way Maker for every person, community, and nation that will call to Him for help!

God has brought us to this place to give opportunity for all who will call upon His Name to be saved. This is the dividing line, and all who have a desire to know God will move toward Him. But those who don’t want to have any part with Him will move further into darkness. It’s time to choose! It’s Time To Pray! 

Who Will Be Ready? by Myra Boozer

Hebrews 9:28, “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

"What kind of people must we be to be ready for the return of the Lord and to enter the kingdom of heaven with Him?" There are many answers. The one that stays with me so much is...We must be watching and waiting for Him (carrying out His commission). He is coming for those who are looking for Him!

We must be set apart from this world and separated from its hold on us. We must be in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ to want to be with Him. Not just use Him as an escape route to "get out of " what is coming upon this world in the form of judgment because of sin and wickedness. Luke tells us, "Watch out! Don't let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don't let that day catch you unaware, like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth. Keep alert at all time. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man," Luke 21:34-36 (NLT).

We must have ears to hear and recognize His voice when He gives us direction...also to hear the trumpet sound...not everyone will hear that sound. We must be ready to go with Him. The Word says to be alert, not dulled by careless living.

Do we love the Bridegroom? Are we laying aside every weight that would hinder us from being ready? Are we watching for His coming? The Truth about the Rapture gives us great incentive to deny worldliness and live holy and righteously today because He could come today.

Don't let anything sedate you. Stay watchful! This world can pull you in by its luring bait, which looks all pretty and innocent, but it is a trap and not easy to escape once you have bought into it. Jesus said, "And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things, entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful," Mark 4:19. 1 John 2:15 tells us to “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” Who Will Be Ready? 

The Bride Of Christ Will Be Ready!

The Bride of Christ will be looking for and anxiously awaiting the Bridegroom. The Bride of Christ is made up of all believers. Therefore, the Bride of Christ is composed of individuals across denominational divides and from different local churches. When the Rapture occurs, all true believers from everywhere will be caught away regardless of church affiliation. The Bride of Christ will be ready. The Holy Spirit will make sure of that.

The purging prior to the appearance of the Bridegroom will ensure that the Bride has made Herself ready. Eph. 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Through the Word and by the Spirit, the Bride of Christ will be ready.

Stand Strong In The Word! by Myra Boozer

Matthew 4:4, “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

Are you standing against every argument that raises itself against the Word of God? Many are the imaginations and arguments that come into your mind, telling you all the negative, telling you just what Satan would have you to believe. You MUST stand against those arguments because God's Word is TRUTH. It is the compelling force behind everything pure and holy, righteous and true. It is your weapon to fight the enemy of your mind.

2 Corinthians 10:5, "Casting down imaginations, and EVERY high thing that exalteth itself against the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD, and bringing into captivity EVERY thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to REVENGE all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled." Stand Strong In The Word! 

Build Up The Breach!

Isaiah 58:12, “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.”

According to George Barna, following Sept. 11, 2001, “churches succeeded at putting on a friendly face but failed at motivating the vast majority of spiritual explorers to connect with Christ in a more intimate or intense manner.” Within a few weeks, we went back to the way we were before that horrible and tragic event. There was no appreciable change in the life of the average US citizen, but the landscape of this country and the world was changed forever.

We continue to reap the harvest of our failure to seek and embrace God’s intervention. Jesus lamented over Jerusalem in Matthew 23:37, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!” His desire was to bring salvation to His people, but they wanted no part of it.

Jesus Christ wants to bring salvation and deliverance to this nation, but instead of running to God, America appears to be running the other way. The Word of God warns us about going our own way and excluding God. “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death,” Proverbs 14:12. Our nation must have God’s intervention to turn us around and put us on the right road!

I am compelled by the Spirit to ponder what would have happened after 9/11 if we had stayed on our knees in prevailing prayer, seeking the divine intervention we so desperately need. Would circumstances be any different than they are today? Only God knows for sure, but the Word of God advocates for the idea that man controls his own destiny. Our obedience to God's leading determines the outcome. As individuals and governments, we will determine our future. Yes, prophecies will be fulfilled as written, and the end will come just as prophesied, but we will determine the role we play by our obedience to God or lack thereof.

We are fighting against the ruler of the darkness of this world. Satan is behind all this chaos. He is the enemy, and his goal is to destroy the soul and body of all men. But the army of Jesus Christ must rise up against him. How, you may ask? We must have the direction of the Lord Jesus Christ. He has empowered His Body to fulfill His ministry in this world. We need the Holy Spirit to give us His instructions to combat the enemy. Human resolve and determination cannot win this war! We must have the Holy Spirit to help us understand the enemy, connect with God's plan, and empower us to complete His mission. That will lead us to VICTORY! We are Building Up The Breach! 

Unwise To Justify The Wicked! Conclusion by Myra Boozer

When we declare the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ as being "Our Lord," that means He is Lord over everything, every thought, every decision, and every relationship. It means what God does not condone, we can't either. We have a great responsibility to others to speak Truth and live Truth.

We are responsible for training our children and standing against all the evil being thrown at them through our culture. It is not for us to allow the world and ungodly people to dictate to them what Truth is or what is acceptable. We cannot tell them it is okay to live like the world and participate in every ungodly activity that society has conceived. We cannot allow them to be seduced by the perversion of evil people who are only concerned about their evil ideas.

When we become politically correct and tolerate the sickened agenda that "Hollywood " is portraying even to little children, we have fallen short of the mandate that God set for those who call Him Lord. Little minds and little hearts are being so abused by society through the media. We may wonder when this will stop. Will we ever be normal again? I don't think so, only worse, because too many have been tolerant of immodest fashion, disorderly conduct, and even attitudes of "however I want to live is okay, because society accepts it."

Many have failed to teach that wrong exists, that bad exists, and that unacceptable exists. We must tell them we are not to justify and condone every lifestyle. Many Christian leaders are not addressing the problems that we are facing in this generation, because tolerance has slipped into many churches. Many Christians want to be accepted and be heard, so they walk on eggshells and speak the acceptable message that makes people feel good instead of telling them the Truth. We must not remain silent, fearing isolation and rejection by society and even some churches, because we do not justify (free from blame or guilt) those who do wickedly. "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death," Proverbs 14:12 KJV.

Jesus Christ is our hope! He is the remedy for all sin. He leads and guides us day by day when we live by His Word. Oh, His Grace is sufficient to hold us and to heal our broken hearts when those we love are influenced more by the world than they are by us. We must never give up! We must keep praying and proclaiming the Word of God, for it is life unto salvation.

"But ye beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some having compassion, making a difference: and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To the only WISE God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen," Jude 20-25. This scripture is powerful and covers what we need to do. 

God Is Lifting Up His Standard! Conclusion

Difficulty has arisen because of a departure from the leadership of the Holy Spirit. How can we be led by Him if we are not first possessed by Him? How can we be possessed by Him unless we believe that He exists as the third person of the Godhead, fulfilling Jesus' promise to be our comforter? John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” The promise of the Comforter was to provide an Advocate to lead and guide the Church as Christ's Advocate or on His behalf. The Holy Spirit is to lead the Church just as God led Israel and Jesus led the New Testament Church.

The Hebrews writer tells us that if we are to please God, we must first believe that He exists and secondly believe that He will reward us as we seek Him. Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Consequently, we must believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, co-existing and co-equal with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. Those who reject the Person and work of the Holy Spirit reject the whole of God's plan, and that is the root of the confusion. When this basic scriptural truth is denied, every doctrine built upon that foundation is at risk of dilution or discarding altogether.

The doctrine of inclusion came into existence because religious leaders wanted to accommodate people. As public opinion has become increasingly liberal, societal pressure has expanded to include entire groups of people and lifestyles. Although the Word of God strongly condemns carnal, fleshly thought and lifestyles, the moral climate of our world demands that such behavior be accepted and embraced by the populace of the world, including Christianity and the Church.

The Kingdom of God is a spiritual entity and, as such, has a spiritual administration. True, we all are mortal beings, but God uses mortal beings in His Kingdom if they are subject to the Holy Spirit. Therefore, the work of the Holy Spirit must be embraced in submission and obedience. The tension comes in the conflict between the carnal leadership of man and the administration of the Holy Spirit. Religious leadership has succumbed to the collusion of ambition, greed, and pride. Therefore, the door is thrown open wide for governance by man, and the Holy Spirit has been expelled. Hence our present dilemma.

God will set apart and identify the believers in His Kingdom. By the Holy Spirit, God is lifting His standard, and His obedient followers are flowing to it as the enemy comes in like a flood. The question today is, “Am I going to follow a religious movement or the Holy Spirit?” The answer to that question will determine our affiliation with a religious group or being a part of the Kingdom of God. Our answer will determine our eternity! My prayer is that we will allow the Holy Spirit to open our ears to hear what He is saying in this late hour! God Is Lifting Up His Standard! 

Unwise To Justify The Wicked! by Myra Boozer

"He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord," Proverbs 17:15.

It seems that sin is being accepted more than ever. Many are no longer ashamed of their error, their mistakes, or their sin. When this happens, many feel justified, and they stay on the same path of destruction. They are telling themselves, "I have done no wickedness," especially when they aren't held accountable for their wrongdoings by those around them.

The Lord God is not pleased with those who JUSTIFY the wicked nor those that condemn the righteous. In this verse, they are put in the same category. They are both called an abomination. That word means to hate, to loathe. Yet, people want to say God is not angry with me! I believe this scripture proves that statement to be wrong. "But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and FIERY INDIGNATION, which shall devour the adversaries," Hebrews 10:27. Adversaries are the enemies of God. He is definitely angry with SIN. "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God," Hebrews 10:31.

Who is speaking against sin? Who is warning? Where is the fear of the Lord? Who is lifting up the standard of righteousness? Who is standing in the Gap? Who is proclaiming the year of the Lord? Who is speaking TRUTH to this perverse generation? Who is declaring the WORD of the Lord in the face of the wicked? "He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him: But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them." Proverbs 24:24-25

God is merciful, gracious, and so patient with mankind. He loves YOU! However, He does not condone SIN! He loves you more than that. He loves you so much that He will send His Holy Spirit to convict you of your error, your mistakes, your willful sin. It doesn't matter who justifies you, friends or family. When God says it is sin, it is sin, and it will separate you from God. "My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth," Hebrews 12:5-6.

The scripture goes on to say If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons. But if you be without chastening, then you are not sons. It is your choice to receive correction or not. Ask God to send the Holy Spirit to convict and convince you of the sin that has beset you. The sin that maybe is accepted and even celebrated by the world. Only God is the true judge of all sin. "Let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire," Hebrews 12:28b-29. It is Unwise To Justify The Wicked. (continued) 

God Is Lifting Up His Standard!

Isaiah 59:19, “...When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.”

God is lifting up His Standard! In the Old Testament, a standard was the identifying colors of an army or kingdom. It was necessary to identify allies and enemies. God's promise to Israel was that He would stand with them against His enemies. This is a necessary principle in our spiritual warfare today.

God will set apart (sanctify) and identify as His the believers in His Kingdom. How is that going to happen? It is happening at this present moment! God is, by His Holy Spirit, lifting His Standard, and His obedient followers are flowing to it, as the enemy comes in like a flood. We are currently living in the time Isaiah described in chapter 59. In verses 16-21, Isaiah writes by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit concerning the last days restoration of the nation of Israel. God brought salvation at the first Advent of Christ, but Israel rejected Him. At His second Advent, or second coming, He will judge His enemies and restore salvation to Israel. The restoration of Israel is at hand. The deliverance of the Body of Christ is even at the door.

Isaiah 59:19, “...When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” The enemy has come in like a river overrunning its banks and causing great destruction and distress wherever it flows. The floodgates are open, and just as Aaron and the priesthood were co-conspirators in the disobedience and idol worship of the Israelites at Sinai, the leadership in Christianity must share the responsibility for where we are today. The strong emphasis placed on the doctrine of inclusion in the religious world has led to a departure from the faith which was delivered to the saints of the New Testament. This doctrine must be reversed in the churches.

Instead of inclusion, separation of the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of this world must be preached again from our pulpits. Although the gospel message is one of inclusion and is to all men, there always has been and always will be the Divine standard to be achieved. God’s holy standard can still be achieved in the heart of the submissive, obedient believer through the work of the Holy Spirit living within us. Jesus said that He (Holy Spirit) will lead and guide into all truth. John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” The Truth is the standard but can not be achieved apart from the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the heart of the professing Christian. My Lion Of Judah! by Myra Boozer

Oh Father, not of myself; I have done no good thing to deserve you. You are what is Good in my life! You are my Bright and Morning Star! You shine bright even when the clouds are gray and the sun doesn't shine, when the storm clouds gather and the wind is howling.

I am settled in the fact that you are here with me even when I don't feel you or see you. I feel great assurance of your presence.

Forever you reign and forever your love trails after me. Your heart beats inside of me, sometimes like a drum from the Islands.

The songs of jubilation and redemption come upon me like the rushing sounds of a great waterfall. My heart is made glad with such splendor. The sounds of Victory and Deliverance are mighty.

Like David of old, I sing a new song!

You will defeat the enemy, the one who is sly as a fox. You know where he lives, and you have a mandate to capture and defeat him. Forever, he will be under your feet, defeated and destroyed! You, Lord, are the Lion of Judah, and You Reign Forever!

Rev. 22:16, “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” 

Time To Take A Stand For Truth And Justice!

Will we as a people take a stand for truth and justice? We face a difficult time ahead as political leaders jockey for position, power, and influence. For the most part, it is all just a lot of noise like a sporting event. Each side supports and vehemently defends their team and believes it doesn't matter about the process so long as our team wins. But it really does matter how we play the game. The game builds character and integrity, which embrace truth, justice, and judgment. If the process fails to yield these attributes, how can we expect a government to lead in truth and justice? It is not what we say but what we do that defines us as a person, as a church, and as a nation. God help us!

Truth and justice lie abandoned in the street, discarded as refuse in the gutter. What happened to the promise “to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States,” and “so help me God?” What happened to the greater good of all men, rather than the selfish and ambitious views of a particular political party or social group? What happened to the preference of others and their needs over the narrow, constricted view of what we want? A self-focused mentality has invaded and captured our conscious resolution and thereby affects everything we say and do. Time to Take A Stand For Truth And Justice! 

A Future Built On Sinking Sand! by Myra Boozer

Dr. David Jeremiah asked the question, “We seem to have lost all interest in the Christian Values that built America. What does that mean for our Country's future?”

My answer is this...America has forgotten the old path our forefathers traveled, and it has sought what it calls "The American Dream." One of prosperity and progress, giving place for greed to capture the hearts of many, opening the doors for deceit and deception in all areas of trade.

The love of money and the desire to have plenty has caused many to forget their families at home, leaving them to the daycare system and even to the streets. No time for nurturing or discipline, no time for God and His plan for their lives.

The desires of the flesh have overridden the desire for God, and many homes have been broken, causing God's plan for marriage (one woman for one man for life) to be cast aside. The result has been the development of much sadness and anger. This has been the reason for much rebellion, drug use, and unwanted babies, which has led to many abortions.

Many of those who have been leading our country have no Christian Values. Not all, but many have given in to lower their standard to fit into society. This has not only taken place in the arena of government but also in our spiritual world. Men and women have lost their desire to follow the standard of God because of seeking "The American Dream."

Seeking to fulfill every desire known to mankind has opened the door to much evil. We can see where this philosophy has led. America built this dream in the sand of pleasure and desire, and the waves of Judgment are coming fast upon her shores. My suggestion is to be waving the banner of SURRENDER to God Almighty, for He alone can and will save us.

Matthew 7:24, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.” 

God, Have Mercy On Our Nation!

I am reminded of the Prophet Daniel in chapter 9 as he rehearsed before God the completion of Jeremiah’s prophecy of seventy years in captivity and desolation. He realized that they were coming to a time of change for the people of Israel. However, he also knew the importance of repentance before God. Therefore, he began to offer up prayers and supplications with fasting in sackcloth and ashes. He stated before God in Daniel 9:5, “We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: 6 Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land...8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee. 9To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;...18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.”

His petitions were for mercy in the face of such blatant disregard for God’s Law. America’s only hope lies in our willingness to repent and return to the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Our only hope is for a move of God, a spiritual awakening, an igniting of Holy Ghost fire that will renew man’s desire to repent and follow God.

My prayer today is that the Holy Spirit would blow upon this nation, and as the wind moves the mighty oak, that Americans as one collective body would bow low in convicted repentance. I ask God to break the obstinate rebellion that has seized the mind, heart, and soul of so many. Lord, bring America to her knees once again, for it is there that we will find our true purpose in God's plan. God, Have Mercy On Our Nation! 

The Only Remedy For Sin Is Repentance! by Myra Boozer

“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. Evil is running rampant in this world, but also in many churches. The toleration of sin is a mockery of God's holiness and majesty. It is a mockery of the shed blood of Jesus on the cross." This is from a post by David C. Cooke, “Quit Calling Sin a Mistake.” It is strong, powerful, and cuts to the heart of the matter, but it is Truth. The world is not hearing much truth these days.

Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Titus 2:11, "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.”

Better to know the truth than to believe a lie and be lost. Jesus’ own words in Luke 13:3, "Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." The Word of God has been so watered down! So much of the Word has NOT been preached to this generation, which has led us to where we are today. People just pick and choose whatever they want to believe because there is a smorgasbord of doctrine out there. There is ONLY one Way, and it is the BIBLE way! We are not free to change it to our liking!

We must seek God with an honest heart and know His Truth. That is what will SAVE us in the end, and time is running out! The clock is ticking and the midnight hour is almost here. Just listen to the news. Prophecy is being fulfilled! We have a Savior who wants to make us pure, holy, and acceptable in His sight. We must surrender to His call and walk in His approval if we want to go to heaven. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." We need to stop calling sin a mistake. The Only Remedy For Sin Is Repentance! 

Who Left The Gate Open? Conclusion

At present, we are in the battle of our lives as we stand against the evil that has been unleashed upon our world. What we are experiencing did not come about overnight. This has been in the making for decades. The Wolf, Satan, has moved quietly but intently among the flock, doing his treacherous work. But his work has taken on a new level of intensity because he knows he only has a short time to work.

There is a monstrous storm gathering and is even now forming into a catastrophic event. Those who can’t weather the storm will be broken off! There will be casualties in the ensuing conflict. We cannot allow ourselves to be driven by the winds of this world. We must know the TRUTH and stand upon the TRUTH. Ephesians 4:14, “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;”

The days ahead will require that we have and maintain a real experience in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our faith in Him will be put to the test, and even now the battle has become more intense. You can feel it in your spirit! This is all an attack by Satan and his demons from hell. But greater is He that lives within me than he that is in the world.

We must maintain a healthy connection to Jesus Christ. Jesus said Himself, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing,” John 15:5. All our strength comes from Him. If our relationship in Christ remains vibrant and healthy, He will sustain us through any storm. Otherwise, the storm will break us, and we will be like so much discarded refuse! God have mercy upon us! 

Who Is On The Lord's Side? by Myra Boozer

WHO IS ON THE LORD'S SIDE AMONG YOU? This is the title of an old song that we sang about 40 years ago. I am asking the same question today. You don't have to answer now, but in the days to come, the question will be asked clearly. The pressure will grow stronger (MORE INTENSE), and you will have to answer.

The answer is not true or false, or multiple choice. It is an answer that will be given by the way you live your life and stand true to what the Bible says about sin. Yes, you will be hated by the world, not by just one or two friends but by the world and its system...REJECTION in its highest form.

You may have been a Christian in hiding, following God from afar. But you will be asked, “Are you one of them?” Be ready! It will take the power of the Holy Ghost in our lives to say, “Yes, I am, and I agree with the Word of God.” ALL OF IT...not just the acceptable part that people love to hear...BUT THE PART WHERE SIN WILL BE JUDGED...THAT NO VILE OR UNCLEAN PERSON (ONE NOT COVERED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS) WILL ENTER INTO HEAVEN...ALSO, THAT SIN WILL REAP ITS JUST REWARD...THAT JUDGMENT IS COMING UPON THIS WORLD...THAT JESUS IS THE ONE AND ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN.

Get ready! Don't delay! Call upon the Lord to give you what is needed when the question is asked, “Who Is On The Lord’s Side?” 

Who Left The Gate Open?

John 10:12, “But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.”

The hireling has left the door open and the wolf, Satan, has entered in and made havoc of the flock. However, we cannot continue down this path. We must rise up in the power of the Holy Spirit and take back what the enemy has stolen. You might ask, “What has he stolen?” He has taken our families and our homes. He has taken our schools and educational systems. From there, he has taken control of our local governments, state governments, national and international governments. Over the period of the last few decades, Satan has moved God out of these institutions and governing bodies, and he almost does at will what he wants when he wants. Except for the “Restrainer!”

2 Thessalonians 2:6, “And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”

God is still in control, and His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, is still restraining the full-blown takeover by Satan and his world of darkness. That time is coming and is quickly approaching, but God will determine when! (continued) 

Escape The Wrath To Come! by Myra Boozer

What do you think is the purpose of the Rapture? I think it is to remove the Body of Christ from this world so the WRATH of God can be poured out, as outlined in the book of Revelation.

In the Old Testament, Noah obeyed the call of God to build the ark according to God's specific instructions, providing an escape from the flood waters and saving the righteous people. In Lot's day, the people of God were removed before He rained down fire and brimstone on the city of Sodom and Gomorrah. In the crossing of the Red Sea, God dried up the waters and allowed the Children of Israel to pass over before he brought the waters back down on their enemy, the Egyptians. God's obedient people have always been spared the calamity of God's wrath. Through the Rapture of the Church, the Bride of Christ will be spared the wrath of God. However, it will be the time for Israel to have another opportunity to recognize the Messiah and choose Him, with many giving their lives for their restoration to Christ.

There are many prophecy preachers who have studied, and they are presenting their findings. But all of them can't be right, which is causing much confusion. We must study the Bible in prayer for ourselves.

The Rapture (the catching away) is to remove the Church, the righteous Body of Christ. The word Church is no longer used after Revelation 3. From there on, we hear about the 7 Angels, 7 plagues. 7 seals, 7 vials, 7 bowls, 7 trumpets. All this appears to be Judgment and the Wrath of God and has nothing to do with the Church, the called-out ones.

I Thessalonians 5:9, "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ." Please read I Thess. 4:13-18. The last verse instructs us to comfort one another with these words about the rapture. I am so thankful for this blessed Hope we have to be counted worthy to escape what is coming upon this world. Our purpose is to spread the Word of the Lord so that all men will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and Escape The Wrath To Come! 

The King Of Babylon Is Coming!

Jeremiah 27:9, “Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:”

In this passage, God was preparing the tribe of Judah for a time of captivity in Babylon. This captivity was punishment for their disobedience and rebellion; however, it would lead them to a time of repentance and restoration. The people’s prophets were telling them that Nebuchadnezzar would not come. But Jeremiah was saying that was not so, and the King of Babylon did come, and the people were carried away captive to Babylon.

We may be oppressed by the King of Babylon for a period of time, but in the end we will rise in glorious victory. What can we do? We can seek God and know that He is directing us in everything we say and do. We can petition Him to reveal the opportunity for us to serve His purpose and mission even in the time of oppression and persecution. He will open the doors of service and ministry as we seek His will and direction.

The coming oppression and persecution will purge the arm of the flesh from the Church. It will take the fires of trials and suffering to separate the gold from the dross. Job 23:10, “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job is a good example of a faithful, obedient child of God.

When Jesus returns, only those who have made themselves ready will go with Him! 

Peace That Liberates The Soul! by Myra Boozer

Peace like a river flows from the Throne of our God. It is so clear and pure, rich in mercy and overflowing with Everlasting Life. It declares freedom for the prisoner...freedom from the chains that bind the hearts and lives of the sick, the depressed, and the broken...

It is being released for all who are thirsty...to all who desire to be set free from this dry and thirsty land of deceit...free from the synthetic and make-believe peace that is being manufactured by politicians and even some so-called Christians.

Lord, your peace is genuine...it is perfect. It not only sets us free; it gives us the ability to live in this messed-up world with Hope...set free with a great desire to be Real, Healed and Whole...

The soul of man cannot survive on any source other than the True and Living Waters that flow from your Throne. It is the Peace that passes all our human understanding. It will soothe our doubts and calm all our fears.

Lord, may we have the fortitude to seek you and find you. May we be submissive to your passionate and unwavering love toward us. May we allow you to set us free. It is your great desire for each of us... 

This World Is On A Collision Course With God's Judgment!

1 John 2:15, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

Satan has always had a system of rule and control, opposing the authority of God. Paul tells us in the New Testament that things are going to get worse in the last days. We must admit that the events of the past couple of years are the fulfillment of that prophecy. We are living in the last days and will continue to see mankind rush madly into eternity until the Lord says it is enough.

We must stay strong in the Lord and stand in the power of His might. Our battle is not with flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness at the highest level. Satan has launched an all-out assault upon all of God’s creation. His goal is to destroy everything and everyone that he can. He doesn’t care about the loss of life or property. He couldn't care less if our cities, businesses, or homes are burned to the ground and destroyed. His ultimate goal is to create chaos and disorder and cause us all to feel like there is no hope for a future.

But there is hope, and that hope is in Jesus Christ. There is a future, and that future is in Jesus Christ. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end,” Jeremiah 29:11. We may be oppressed by the King of Babylon for a while, but in the end we will rise in glorious victory. 

Lord, My Life Is In Your Hands! by Myra Boozer

Psalms 62:5, “My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. 8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.”

Lord, my life is in your hands. My tears are in your bottle. All my days have been written in your Book.

Lord, my life is in your hands. I will not be overwhelmed by the terror by night nor the arrow that flies by day. Because you love me, I will come when you call.

I will wait until you come, and I will rejoice in your mercy. All I will ever need is found in you, Lord. May I always be listening for your voice. My Life is in your hands.

James 5:7, “Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.”

 

Where Are Your Affections?

1 John 2:15, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

Where are your affections? As Christians, our focus should be on our relationship with God rather than our relationship with the world and its system. We are in the world but are not of the world if we have been born again (born from above). We have been re-born from a person of the flesh and fleshly control into a spiritual creation of the Spirit of God. Our instruction comes from God through the Holy Spirit. We are citizens of the Kingdom of God and are not dominated by the politics of this worldly system.

Are our lives affected by the world we live in? Most definitely! However, our allegiance is to a higher power, higher authority, and we do not bow to the constraints of this worldly system. Although we are prisoners in this body of flesh, we are free in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our governance. Does that give us the authority to refuse the law of our land? God’s law must receive pre-eminence over any earthly law that contradicts God’s law. The law of God is greater than any earthly governance.

Today, as disciples of Jesus Christ, we find ourselves at odds with the morals and practices of our world systems of government and religion. We shouldn’t find that surprising if we are really following the tenets of the Bible. Generally, it has been that way for the people of God since the beginning. Satan has always had a system of rule and control opposing the authority of God. And He (Satan) will continue to grab all the control he can until he declares himself to be the Christ and rules the world from the temple in Jerusalem! (continued)

God CONVICT the spiritually blind people who are doing a great injustice to those who are seeking truth. They are enemies of the cross! They are your enemy! Don't listen to them and their spirit of error message. The Spiritually blind people are the workers of iniquity, and their master is not GOD, no matter how many programs or Bible Studies they may have, no matter how many people attend their church, no matter how many mission programs they support. When a pastor and church promote anything more than the "turn from your wicked ways" message, they are the apostate church teaching and preaching in error. Matt. 15:14, “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”

When a church is dead in its traditions, they do the same thing year after year and get the same results. The Spirit of Life is not flowing! It takes the anointing of the Holy Ghost to break the yoke of sin! Without the moving of Holy Ghost power to convince and convict the sinner, it becomes a club of people who still claim their sin but want to believe heaven is waiting for them. When the blind lead the blind, they both fall in the ditch. If your church is sugarcoating the message, it is the apostate church! Get out, seek God, read His Word, and allow the Holy Spirit to transform you into His vessel of honor. Obey His voice as He leads you into all Truth…

John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” 

God Will Address The Evil Of Apostate Religion! Conclusion

God was getting ready to administer His judgment upon this wicked government and apostate religion, and He wanted Elijah to know his role. God was compelled to let him know what He was preparing to do. God was not finished with Elijah just yet and wanted Elijah to know that He still had large numbers of the faithful who had not bowed to Baal. Elijah had a role in bringing God's plan to its completion. God said, go and anoint Hazael to be king over Syria, Jehu to be king over Israel, and Elisha to be the prophet in Elijah's place (1 Kings 19:17-18).

God’s purpose was to turn the heart of Israel back to Himself! The Apostate Religious rituals offered on her altars were the epitome of Evil, and He was setting the stage for judgment of the spiritual leadership. Those responsible for the perpetrated Evil were suddenly and utterly destroyed.

God is setting the stage to perform a cleansing in the earth. The apostate religious rituals offered on the altars of many churches today are the epitome of evil. God is preparing for judgment of the spiritual leadership. Those responsible for the evil perpetrated will find themselves suddenly and uttering lost, turned into a desolate darkness where deliverance is not possible. 2 Peter 2:13, “...Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; 14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: 15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;”

The time for correction and change is now! Just as God gave Israel the opportunity to confess and profess the sovereignty of God, He is calling all who will hear to return to the straight and narrow path. Who will heed His call? Luke 13:24, “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:” God Will Address The Evil Of Apostate Religion!

Beware The Apostate Church! by Myra Boozer

Today there are many apostate churches with their feel-good message of, come as you are, stay as you are; God accepts you! This “NO need for a change of heart or lifestyle” is NOT from GOD but from Satan. It is the broad road that leads directly into hell, and many are being fooled because no one will tell them the TRUTH. Matt. 7:13, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at:”

The sugar-coated preaching with no scriptural standard will not transform the life of a sinner! The Truth that Jesus speaks is OFFENSIVE to the sinner. Heb. 4:12, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

It is not a "feel good about your sin" MESSAGE but a “depart from sin, deny yourself, take up your CROSS and follow Christ” message. When true conviction comes to a person, it is the most UNCOMFORTABLE feeling in the world. The warm and fuzzy feeling will follow, but not until after REPENTANCE. (continued) 

God Will Address The Evil Of Apostate Religion!

1 Kings 18:21, “And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? If the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.”

The cause of Israel’s idolatry had to be addressed. Jezebel had infected the pure worship of Jehovah with the idol worship of her ancestral god, Baal. She used her position as queen to force all of Israel to worship Baal. The time had come for Israel to choose who they would follow, and the evil influence of apostate religion had to be eliminated. Elijah ordered that all the priests of Baal be killed to rid the kingdom of their evil influence. Good call, right?

1 Kings 19:1, “And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword.” Jezebel promised to do to Elijah what he had done to her priests, and he ran for his life. He found himself all alone, hiding away in a deep, dark cave, but it is there that he encountered the Almighty Lord God Jehovah. 1 Kings 19:12, “And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. 13And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?”

There are two issues that Elijah was challenged to address. One, how could he justify his hasty retreat in the face of such a victory at Mt. Carmel? And second, could he be used of God to finish his mission? Elijah began to justify his behavior and defend his cowardly retreat. He had been very zealous for God when the children of Israel had forsaken His covenant. They turned to the worship of Baal, having thrown down the altars of the Lord and slain the prophets of God. Elijah proclaimed that he was the only one left; therefore, they sought to take his life. God assured Elijah that there were “7000” who had not bowed to Baal or worshiped his image. God's command was to return to action and finish what He had started. (continued) 

You Jesus Are My Perfect Rest! by Myra Boozer

Today I am thankful for Rest! God created the world, but on the 7th day He rested and set aside a day of rest for His people. I hope that doesn't change, given the many changes happening now. But even greater than our physical rest, there is a rest that every believer can enter no matter what our problems may be.

When we are overcome by unexpected pain or trouble, we tend to get stressed, even for a moment, and sometimes "really upset." Becoming more worried and distressed to the point of getting sick over a matter. BUT, when we can just step back and REMEMBER "who" is in control, everything can change because God has rest for us. Rest from anything or anyone who might cause us grief or heartache.

In Christ, we lay back in His arms of great mercy and know that He is taking care of us. This is absolutely the very best rest you will ever find. When you lay it all down at His feet, as a little child, you're allowing Him to give you the love and comfort that only He can give. Thank you, Lord, that I have learned to trust you! Lord, help me to keep learning from you. You are my rest no matter the day of the week. My perfect rest is in you and through you.

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 6-7 

Our Help Will Come From The Lord! Conclusion

The Holy Spirit is calling, “Come wrap yourself in the power of His presence and allow Him to perform in you His glorious works!” I am weak, but He is strong. If we allow Him to fully control our lives, we are made strong in our weakness because our weakness is God's strength. There is no enemy that can stand against Him; there is no foe that He cannot overcome. There is no fortress that can withstand Him and no opposition that He cannot vanquish. Come, come to Him now and allow him to wrap you in His mantle of authority and shelter you from the storms ahead.

I hear the rumbling in the distance, the sound of a mighty army moving into position. It is a well-prepared force; each warrior is in his place and prepared to do his duty. There is no fear in their number because they have been washed clean. Though their sins were as crimson, their raiment is white as snow. And there is one with them whose eyes are a flaming fire, and He is clothed with a vesture dipped in blood. His name is the Word of God! Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword to smite the nations and rule them with the rod of Truth, and He tramples the wine-press of the wrath of Almighty God. He has on His garment and on His thigh written the name, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. At His appearing every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that JESUS IS LORD.

Today, we stand at a pivotal point in the history of this world. We are at the jumping off place! We can either turn and run into the mercy and grace of God or continue down this evil and disobedient road right into the plans that Satan has for us and those who follow along with us. Those plans are for our eternal destruction. Those plans will lead to a world ruled by the Prince of Darkness as he unleashes the demons and devils of hell to do his disastrous work. Turn while you have the opportunity. That door is already closing! How much more time do we have? 

Time To Make A Change! by Myra Boozer

Jesus spoke openly to the world, in the synagogues, the temple, on the mountain, on the riverbanks, at the well, or in a home, wherever there was a need. He spoke to the known world during His thirty-three years on earth, especially the last three years. He spoke with boldness and authority given to Him by His Father. The call was given, and many followed Him, although Jesus pointed out those who outwardly appeared righteous to men but were full of hypocrisy and iniquity within. Those kinds of people were going about as usual, causing division and opposing the Truth of God's Word, and it is still happening today. People who have their eyes on other people instead of the Lord will be hindered and sometimes throw in the towel. That is not an excuse for not following the Lord, but many use it.

Today many hearts are closed with "Do not disturb signs" when it comes to receiving God's Word. It appears many are driven by society to deny that God even exists. Many are stubborn and rebellious, rejecting the Holy Bible as the Word of God, denying that it is written by men as they were inspired by the Holy Ghost. Many are skeptics, doubting the virgin birth of Jesus and doubting that He arose from the dead. Others may say they believe; they just have no "POWER" to live a life of submission to the Lord. This is a reproach to the Name of Christ.

This world is getting further and further from the Truth of God's Word. The time is urgent for those who know anything about the Lord Jesus Christ to make a strong commitment. It is time to make an altar and carry everything to the Lord. If you feel you have been playing church, it is time to get serious. If you have been calling on the Lord only during 911 situations, it is time to refocus and rededicate your life. If you have put Jesus Christ on a shelf and just pull Him down when someone else is talking about Him, it is time to make a change.

Jesus is getting ready to split the Eastern Sky, to take His children home. He is coming for those that are looking for Him. He wants to be your constant friend, one who walks with you and talks with you. He wants to carry your burdens and lift you above the turmoil of this wicked world. He wants to set you free from the bonds of religion and have a personal relationship with you. Matt. 10:37, “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” Time To Make A Change! 

Our Help Will Come From The Lord!

Psalm 121:1, “…I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”

We are where we are today because the whole of mankind has turned away from the influence of God in their lives. Therefore, the attributes of God that He would show forth in their lives are absent. Until there is a change of heart, lives will not change! The consequences are that we are doomed to repeat the failures of the past. We need help, the help and intervention that only God can give!

Go back to the beginning! God is the beginning, and in Him we live, move, and have our being. He is the beginning, the beginning of time, the beginning of creation, the beginning of life, the beginning of man, the beginning of love, etc. James 1:16, “Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. 18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” In this chapter, James is addressing the mortal weakness of man and his propensity to sin. And right in the middle, he plants this golden nugget. Sure, there is imperfection all around us, but our life comes from above, from the Father of lights who never changes, and there is not even an allusion to His changing. He is always the same, consistent, loving, compassionate, powerful, delivering, victorious Father.

In the beginning, God! God is pulling us back to Himself as in 1 John 1:1, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;” He has been with us from the beginning of this journey and He wants us to understand that it is through Him that we will finish. There is no other power, presence, or virtue sufficient to complete our assignment. He will magnify our efforts and ministry as He receives the honor and glory for the results. (continued) 

How Long Will God Continued? by Myra Boozer

How long will God continue in His mercy and give this country time to Repent? How long will He wait? We do not know! He has given individuals time to fall before Him in repentance for their sins. But for a Nation to go against His laws and commands is a different story. I feel judgment is coming on America for all the sin that is parading around as something good when it is an abomination! Not only in this country, but other countries are defying the laws of God. God will not wait long! He will do as He has done in the past. I think JUDGMENT will come quickly.

Some may go through the fire and call upon His Name, being purified by the fire. Others will continue in sin and will regret that they have NOT taken the time to repent when the Spirit was pleading and convicting their hearts.

Many Christians, saints of God, are giving their lives today and suffering much persecution because they have not denied the Name of Christ. Then there is the rest of the living righteous, the blood-bought Church, the Body of Christ, who has made herself ready. She will be taken in a moment and twinkling of an eye to meet the Bridegroom.

There were seven Churches of Asia that are written about in the first three chapters of Revelation. Jesus named the things that He had against six of the churches and asked them to repent. He was telling them to listen to what the SPIRIT HAD TO SAY TO THEM, BUT NOTICE the Church in Philadelphia. He said in Rev. 3:8, “I know thy works: behold I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, (his), and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation...” (2 Peter 2:9, “The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly, out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.”) Rev. 3:10b, “...which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 BEHOLD, I COME QUICKLY; hold fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.”

Notice Rev. 4....and see what John has to say about seeing the open door...saw the throne and the four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment (clothes) and had their crowns on their heads...the crown that Jesus said, "Let no man take thy crown." Praise the Lord! He is coming...BE READY for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man is coming...How Long Will God Continue? 

How Can I Be Sure Of My Salvation?

There are not too many things in this world that a person can be sure of, and because of that, an attitude of skepticism and pessimism is prevalent. Governments are crumbling, economic systems are falling apart, and political systems are failing.

This skepticism and pessimism must not prevail in the life of a Christian. A skeptic is a doubter, and a pessimist always expects the worst. These behavioral traits can drive a person’s life and are the opposite of faith and trust. God is still in control. He has not relinquished any of His power or authority to any other entity. His plan is still on schedule and will not be delayed by the disobedience of mankind. If anything, the sin and degradation of man will hasten the judgment of God. He is presently working all things for His Divine Purpose. We can rejoice in His calm assurance if we have put our faith and trust in Him.

How can we live a calm and assured life when our world and everything in it is falling apart? Paul gives us some insight in his first letter to Timothy. 1 Timothy 2:1, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time...8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.”

Paul’s exhortation to Timothy and to us is to pray and intercede before God for all men, “that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.” Live right before God and pray in faith, believing that God is still in control. If we know Jesus Christ, we can be sure of our salvation through Him. God says so in His Word, and He cannot lie!

Our salvation by faith in the blood of Jesus is not based upon shaky or unreliable evidence. 1John 9:5, “If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. 10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” There is the witness of man, and there is the witness of God. God says that He has provided us eternal life through His Son Jesus. The witness of God is greater!

The new birth opens within us a new awareness of the Spirit. There is peace and love that fills our hearts that only comes from God. We have new desires, new ambitions, and a new outlook on life. Thank God for that inward witness! Receive His promise, live in His provision, and Be Sure Of Your Salvation!
