Early One Sunday Morning! by Myra Boozer

Early one Sunday Morning years ago as I was walking and praying for our neighborhood, I came upon a big pile of new-looking items which were bent and twisted...some sort of toys or game for children. I looked toward the house and there I could see looking out the picture window two little heads, one taller than the other, and the look on their faces was hopelessness. It actually broke my heart for they were looking at what used to be something they were no doubt happy to receive.

It had not been that long since Christmas but now it was destroyed. I could hardly deal with this! What could have happened? How could their new toys be lying on the curb? Was someone angry, or high on drugs? Was there abuse in the family? And most of all, were the little boys not only emotionally abused but also physically abused? So much was rushing through my mind. Such a sad day for them and for me, because when I looked into their little faces I too felt the pain. With a broken heart for God's little ones, I walked on and cried tears of compassion asking God to take control of whatever was going on in that house.

This is the same thing happening to many people in our world today. They are looking out with eyes of great sadness and heartbreak upon something or someone they once loved but see no hope of restoration. They see the damage and the pieces of their dreams all twisted and broken...Feeling forsaken and alone to face the future not sure what will become of them.

I wanted so badly to go and hold those little ones in my arms and make things happy for them. I wanted to comfort them. I wanted to say, it's okay we will fix it. But I am most sure there was a great stronghold in that house. It would take more than me. It would take God Almighty! I am praying for God to break the strongholds over the homes of this broken and hopeless generation today! I pray that God Almighty will become the Guardian over their lives! There is HOPE in Christ Jesus for full RESTORATION!

Wake The Mighty Men!

Joel 3:9, “Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: 10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.”

This is a mighty spiritual war. Wake the mighty men! Call the ones who will agree together. Strong and mighty are those who will covenant together and be bound together by the cords of Truth.

Exchange your cultivating tools for tools of war. We must change our tactics. We must proceed as Nehemiah and those charged with rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem. Nehemiah 4:17, “They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon. 18 For the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and so builded...” They did the work with one hand and held a weapon in the other hand. They were prepared for enemy attack at any time of the day or night.

It is time for an all-out assault on the powers of darkness. Go now and snatch precious souls from the clutches of evil. Go in the power and might of the Lord Jesus Christ within you. Time is running out. We are coming near to the consummation of all things. Zech. 12:8, “In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.” (continued)

Don't Follow The Crowd! by Myra Boozer

When we FOLLOW the LORD, we will NOT FOLLOW the CROWD. We will take a different path, the path of Holy living, Holy speech, Holy thinking, Holy conduct, and Holy attitude. God said in His word, be ye Holy as I am Holy. Christ is coming for a holy people, a holy Church without blemish. Ephesians 5:27, "That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle or any such thing but that it should be holy and without blemish."

I was taught at an early age that if in doubt about something, don't do it. If it seems to be wrong it probably is! If it doesn't bring Glory and Honor to God, leave it. Now, the crowd doesn't understand that kind of talk. They have delighted in making their rules. Do what feels good to you. Don't concern yourself about what God or anyone else might think.

If you have been following the crowd, you still have time to get out of that trap. But, I will say you can't do it on your own. You must fall upon your knees in repentance and trust God to show you the way. He says in His Word, there is a way that seems right unto man but the end is destruction. That is why we can't trust ourselves. We must have Christ to clean our hearts and our minds to know what He requires, to have ears to hear His voice.

Our guessing and hoping that we are on the right path isn't good enough. The Lord purchased our salvation and He knows the path that leads home. Unless He leads, guides, and directs our ways, we might as well stay with the crowd. This sounds strong but it is time we give strong Godly advice, because "the world" is creating strong delusion (false belief).

GOD HELP US ALL TO STAY ON THE PATH OF RIGHT LIVING...IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO BE SAVED. John chapter 10 explains to us that Jesus is the good shepherd. He gave his precious life for His sheep. He knows His sheep by name and when He calls them they FOLLOW Him...and another they will NOT FOLLOW.

If the path you're on seems crowded with lots of happy-go-lucky people...not concerned about the day we're living in...if they are still talking the same ole talk and walking the same ole walk...YOU are definitely FOLLOWING THE CROWD. "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it," Matthew 7:14. Don’t Follow The Crowd!

The Day Of The Lord Is Coming!

Joel 2:1, "Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand."

Everywhere I look I see the hand of God's impending judgment upon our world. Wars, tyranny, civil unrest, spiritual discontent, oppression, death, disease, starvation, helplessness, hopelessness, and on we go. Jesus said it would be this way. He told His disciples in Matt. 24 that there would be wars and rumors of more wars. He said there would be famines, pestilence, and earthquakes but these things are only the beginning of sorrow. The worst is yet to come.

The call of Joel 2:1 is to awaken the people of Judah to the judgment of God hanging over their heads. God sought through Joel to correct their Godless living and return them in repentance to Jehovah. Joel sees the plague of the drought and locusts as judgment for the sins of Judah. He makes a direct correlation between sin and judgment.

According to history, Jerusalem was destroyed along with the Temple of Solomon, the land was laid waste and the people were carried away to Babylon in 587 BC by King Nebuchadnezzar. Judah suffered in captivity because of their unwillingness to heed the voice of God and return in repentance to Jehovah.

How can people believe that they can live any way they choose and not reap the consequences of their choices? God created man higher than any other creature and gave us the unique quality of freedom of choice. However, we all must understand that there are consequences attached to every choice we make.

So then, what is the answer to the present human condition? What shall we do in the face of overwhelming judgment? Repentance and restitution are the answer to the world’s fallen state. And like a watchman upon the wall, we are mandated to sound the alarm that judgment is coming. People, God's most precious creation, must be made aware that sin has consequences. Romans 6:23 tells us, "For the wages of sin is death..." We will reap what we sow. "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting," Gal. 6:7-8. If we sow righteous seeds we will reap a righteous reward. If we sow sinful seeds we will reap a sinner's reward.

God Is Amazing! by Myra Boozer

It is so very hard to comprehend what others are going through because all situations are different. But I can faintly hear, in the distance, the cries of the children and parents who have seen their homes destroyed. The ones who lost every single thing they owned. Some have lost family members but many lives have been spared in all these catastrophic events. It is amazing to me to see the devastation and how people survived. Through these events, many have learned what is really important to them, "their lives and the lives of family and neighbors."

I heard of a two-year-old comforting his Mother during the loss of everything in the California fires. He said, "It will be okay." I have heard our grand's say so many times, "I'm okay," so I understand how precious those words were to that Mom.

The daughter-in-law, while cleaning from the floods in Texas, found the family Bible opened to Solomon's Song 8:7.  "Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned," (meaning is scorned). When shown this the elderly woman said, "Isn't the Lord amazing. He always gives us exactly what we need, when we need it. Praise the Lord."

Just because you and I are not in the middle of the raging fires, severe storms, floods, calamity, or the horror of mass killings, does not mean it cannot come near to where we are and to our neighborhood. We are not exempt from what is coming on this earth in these Last Days. Daniel speaks of "it shall be for the time appointed." When will it come to us? We do not know. God help us to be mindful of our relationship with Him and ready to meet Him if something happens. It is most important, to love God and others. We need to pray for those suffering. Pray for their understanding of God and who He is. Pray they will cry out to Him during these uncertain days. Pray for those who do not have a personal relationship with Christ, that they will seek Him and find Him.

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted. He calls them to come to Him to allow Him to comfort, strengthen, and renew their HOPE, to show them what He requires. If they will be willing and obedient they too can be like the woman in Texas saying, "Isn't the Lord amazing? He always gives us exactly what we need when we need it. Praise the Lord."

My God Is Awesome!

You are mighty Oh God in the midst of your people. Who can stand against Your beloved as You dwell among them? How Great and Mighty You are, Your Wonders ready to perform. Is anything too difficult for You? “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” Jeremiah 32:17. There is nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing that God can’t do. Put your faith and trust in Him today!

"Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit of God, when I survey the awesomeness of who you are, I stand in wonder of your person. You are the Creator of all things yet you are my Father. You are the Life and Sustainer of all things created yet you are my Life and more abundantly. You are my Way, my Truth, and my Life. In you, I live and move and have the entirety of my being. You are the power of Almighty God inhabited within the person of the Holy Spirit as witnessed in the book of Acts. Yet you are my Strength, my Power, my Comforter, and my Teacher. You are the Divine and Magnanimous Person who inhabits all of eternity yet you are my Friend, my Companion, my Heart, and my Soul. There is no one like you!”

Psalm 46:1, “...God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.”

Jesus Is Our Hiding Place! by Myra Boozer

What are you looking for today? What are you seeking after? Many are looking for answers to some difficult questions. I think more than ever we want to feel safe and secure in these perilous times. We want to have peace of mind when we go to work or into the marketplace, when we send the children to school, and when we lie down at night. These are the thoughts that trouble many people.

We can find what we need in Jesus! When we call, He will answer us bringing what we need when we need it. In Matthew 7:7-8 Jesus proclaims, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For EVERY ONE that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

David said in Psalm 27:4, "One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple." David wasn't talking about staying in the temple every day but he was talking about dwelling in God’s presence all his days. In verse 5, he states, "For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall he hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock." David was very confident that God was his pavilion or covering and also his sure foundation. David felt safe in the love of God. We can also but we need to know how to seek Him.

Psalm 27:8, "When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek." So many times we seek His hand, which is his provision. But He told David, “Seek my face,” my person, who I AM. When we truly seek Him, we live in His house, pavilion, tabernacle, His presence. When we dwell there we are set upon the rock, a firm foundation. The very best thing we can seek is the face of the Lord! Oh, to know Him, to really know Him, to cherish him like we cherish nothing else, in a very personal way.

When you love someone you want to share life with them. You don't just visit them on Sunday. They become the center of your everyday life. The Lord doesn't want us out on the porch. He wants us to come into His pavilion and dwell with Him. There we will find the answers to our questions and peace of mind. Jesus Is Our Hiding Place!

Evil Increased In The Last Days!

The world system has become so jaded that almost nothing is viewed as wrong. Our society has been conditioned over time to accept sin. A spirit of “inclusion” has been embraced by many churches so that nobody feels left out. Everybody must be accepted regardless of their relationship with God or manner of living. Sure, we are to love everybody but the Church of Jesus Christ cannot accept a lifestyle of sin. Sin must be brought before the Lord in repentance!

Gradually the enemy has crept in and performed his despicable work, undermining the very foundation of our existence. From the beginning, our social order was built upon the family unit. God's design for the family has been manipulated to fit every desire and convenience imaginable to mankind. However, God has His Standard which cannot be manipulated to please anyone! The Word of God calls for the sinner to repent of their sin, turn from their sin, and follow the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul wrote to Timothy about evil in the last days in 2 Tim. 3:1-5. In this text, he is identifying the total depravity of the human state. "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4. Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5. Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."

As Christ's return draws near, the depraved conditions will increase. "But evil men...shall wax worse..."v.13. Paul describes mass corruption and lawlessness. The warning is that the condition of the world ultimately presses into the Church. "Having a form of godliness but denying the power..."v5. Having the resemblance of Christian service but without the spiritual dynamic of the Holy Spirit. Peter said, "These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest…" 2 Peter 2:17. The barrenness of this false religion mocks the thirsty soul by promising refreshment but cannot deliver. Perhaps Jude states it best in Vs. 12-13, "These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear; clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever."

In Eph. 6:11 Paul instructs the Church to "put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." The emphasis is on the "whole armor of God" in its completeness providing power against "the wiles of the devil." In Romans 13:12-14, he writes "...put you on the Lord Jesus Christ…"

Paul addresses the armor of God as a complete covering. Its completeness corresponds to the divine perfection of Christ's humanity. We are "to grow up unto Him in all things." Eph. 4:15. We are to put on His image in all the harmony of truth, righteousness, peace, and faith. We are to receive the spiritual energy and power of Christ as the "Word." Jesus Christ is the solution to the present human condition! He is the embodiment of our power and authority to defeat the "flesh" which will rule the carnal nature of man in the Last Days.

Grace And Mercy Are Waiting For You! by Myra Boozer

People are leaving this world every day and going to their final destination. So much death, from little babies to the elderly. Ready or Not we will leave this world either by death or the Rapture. The big question is, “Are you ready to meet God?” Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus? Have you asked God to forgive you of your sins?

God has a great plan for your life here but if you seem to have missed it somehow, Grace and Mercy are still waiting for you to accept them. Forgiveness is still available for the asking. I know that sounds way too simple but God made it simple. Truth and Love have been waiting for you to open the door for them to come and invade your life like you cannot imagine. The power of the Holy Spirit wants to lift you above all the mundane living. He wants to set you on a path of Holy living where the river of Life flows freely for all who want to drink fresh, living waters. You will never thirst again!

If you are weighted down by a load of sin and regrets, it can be lifted by the prayer of repentance. You can be lifted by the wings of mercy to live in the realm of peace and joy. Yes, even in this life! There is Abundant Living for all who will surrender, give it up, let it go, and find what God has designed especially for you.

NO, it will not always be easy! It will be hard, almost unbearable at times. But the road (this life) is so much easier to travel when Jesus is your personal guide and the responsibility to fix everything is not upon your shoulders alone. You will find He is a constant help in times of need, always listening to your heart's cry and willing to carry you when you can't go on.

Jesus is never far from you and longs to be your dearest friend. He can give hope where there is none because of who He is. Seek Him while He may still be found! Isaiah 55:6, “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:” Grace And Mercy Are Waiting For You!

Jesus' Love Pulls Back The Veil That Separates Us From God!

I began this day as I do every day in the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. I see that His love abounds everywhere even in the areas of our world that appear to be dominated by sin. But, Jesus’ love is there! A love that transcends all obstacles, and penetrates into the most remote and isolated crevices of life. Every area of human existence is held in the shelter of His hand.

Your need and my need is laid bare before Him. He knows where we are, what we feel, and what we dream. He sees each despairing thought and feels the anguish that we feel. He identifies with every human experience and emotion that has and will touch our lives. He left His throne in glory, and took upon Himself the form of human flesh so He can tell you today, “I have been where you are and I feel what you feel.” He experienced the human condition in the fullest sense yet without sin. Heb. 4:15, “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

He is saying to the whole human race, “I understand. I have made a way out. Believe on me as the scripture has said and be free.” You may feel trapped in a place you don't want to be. Give it all to Jesus! He has made a way of escape for you. Trust Him! He knows the way. He is the WAY! Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Look to Him and live!

Can You Believe? by Myra Boozer

Can you believe how fast things are falling apart in this country and the world for that matter? God will not put up with evil running rampant for an extended time. He will come and fight against these evil people who seem to prevail.

God has all power and those who think they are so high and mighty to come against God and His Holy Word, will find that they can ONLY do what God allows them to do. One day they will tremble in His presence, bow their knee, and confess He is LORD. But that will be too late! NOW is the day of salvation!

Somehow I believe these, which have turned to such rebellion against God and the Truths that our country was founded upon, at some point rejected the still small voice of a loving God who offered His only Son for their sins. But they rejected Him! When any person keeps on rejecting God they are falling deeper into the arms of an evil master that will consume them with his deceitful ways and carry them with him to the pits of hell.

God has given us another day (well, He could come at any time, before the night has ended) but we have this time right now to surrender our hearts, our minds, and our wills. It could be too late for those who don't have ears to hear but for those who have ears, let him hear what the Spirit is saying. Call on the Lord while He is near! Seek Him while He can still be found. Please don't take God for granted and spurn your opportunity to know Him as Lord and Master of your life.

"For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled," 1 Peter 3:12-14.

There is a song that says, "God is fighting for us. He is on our side. We will not be shaken. We will not be moved." God is so faithful to His children! He will not allow them to be defeated. Can You Believe?

Rediscover Your Identity In Jesus Christ! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 10/8/24)

The essence of God is fully accessible by mortal flesh through Jesus Christ by the Holy Ghost.

What does that mean to us? We need to understand that God, in all his awesomeness, is fully approachable through Jesus Christ. John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Ryrie says the logos concept, “here is applied to Jesus who is all that God is and an expression of Him. The Word is said to be with God (IE., in communion with and yet distinct from God) and to be God (IE., identical in essence with God).” Sounds awesome, right? That believers have full access to such a magnanimous person. But, we do in Jesus Christ. God wants us to know Him so that we can fully know ourselves in Him.

We don't need to back away from the mountain of God in fear of His presence. He wants us to not only be aware of Him but to share His presence in our daily walk with Him. The Israelites recoiled in fear at the manifest presence of God on Mt. Sinai. They had witnessed the power of God, but without faith to trust Him, God's presence created fear. They had seen with their own eyes what He could do. So, God placed a boundary at the foot of the mountain and they were instructed not to approach the mountain. The Israelites had to communicate with God through a mediator. God gave His instructions to the Israelites through Moses. What made Moses different from the rest? He trusted God! He was willing to leave the things that he didn't understand in the hands of God.

We have no need to be fearful and afraid. Jesus became our mediator with God when we accepted His sacrifice at Calvary. Because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, we have the boldness to draw near to God and through our mediator, Jesus, we bring our petitions to Him. He invites us to come boldly before the throne of grace and make our petitions known to Him. This is a very important attribute of our relationship with God. In the presence of God, we will discover who we are in Jesus Christ. He will define the terms and boundaries of our mission by the revelation and leading of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives.

His presence is absolutely indispensable if we are to understand who we are in Jesus Christ and what that means to us and to a lost and dying world. God help us to be receptive to the illumination of His Spirit!

Remember Your Promise! by Myra Boozer

Many have made a promise to the Lord to spread His Gospel message to a lost and dying world. Maybe when you got saved, when you were in Revival hearing the Word of God and had a real "revelation" of what Hell is going to be like for all those who do not accept Christ... Maybe when you were at Youth Camp sitting around a big fire after the sun had gone down... You were given a pine cone to throw in the fire that represented your commitment to share salvation with a lost world.

All of these and more happened in my life and as a child, I knew God had a plan for me. I am sure I could have done more but it has been my life's purpose to help people know JESUS. I cannot stop now! We are too close to the coming of the Lord! More than ever, we must REMEMBER our promise to tell others. Tell people about JESUS the Son of God coming as a baby born in Bethlehem to become the Savior of the world. And, tell people about HIS SECOND COMING as KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS to establish the KINGDOM OF GOD and RULE AND REIGN FOREVER! Remember Your Promise!

Rediscover Your Identity In Jesus Christ!

Malachi 3:7, “Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?”

We find numerous passages in the Bible where God instructed His people to repent and return to Him. How can that be relevant to the Body of Christ? Because our attention can be easily diverted from the vision we have of God's work and our mission. We are easily distracted from God's business so we need Him to remind us often of where we are and what we need to be doing. We need the Holy Spirit to reveal where we have slipped away and to where we need to return.

Enabled by the Holy Ghost, go back to the inception of the vision. Go back to where you started. Examine anew your decision to follow Christ, your mission, and your purpose. What was your perception of your relationship then and where are you now? What has changed? What about the vision needs your attention? In the beginning, it was all about Jesus, the truth of God's Word, and His commission. We must allow the Holy Spirit to open the windows of our soul to the revelation of His perfect truth and how that will be implemented through our lives.

Time To Be Very Still! by Myra Boozer

Colossians 3:15, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body, and be ye thankful."

For quite a while now a big squirrel has perched right on the top point of the building out back. He looks like an ornament, really, he looks frozen, not moving except the wind blowing his fluffy tail. I wonder if he is angry about this weather, or maybe the stash he had for his family is depleted. I don't know, maybe he is confused by this weather. One moment the sky is sprinkling snow on us, just like you would sprinkle confectioner sugar on your French toast, then all of a sudden it stops and the sun shines so bright. You think, wow is it over, then it starts up again. That's the way of confusion and it's something we all have at times. It is hard to deal with when your prayers are still not heard and your heart is breaking for your loved ones. You began to question God, “Why the delay?”

This is the time to be very still and very quiet and just wait, just like the squirrel perched on the highest point. God can soothe all our frustrations and calm our minds. We can rest in His presence and know He loves us but we must remember sometimes He allows us a little while of "feeling all alone and confused." Don't give up and don't complain. Rest in the fact that God has it all in His hands and in His time He will make all things beautiful...with no confusion. He brings Peace and Joy that will overflow in our heart and bring assurance in every situation. Time To Be Very Still! (This was written some time ago but is very fitting for today.)

Go Back To The Beginning! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 10/6/24)

Go back to the beginning. The beginning is the revelation, the vision, the dream, the communication of heaven. What is the foundation of your revelation, vision, dream, or Word from the Lord? Your future depends upon your revelation. Is your life built upon Jesus Christ and His Word? Matt. 7:24, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”

We look at the condition of our world and know that we are living in perilous times. But it is going to get worse. We don't know exactly when the Church will be caught away (raptured), but we do know that conditions will get progressively worse. The foundation of our revelation must be the Truth of God as revealed in the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost!

God has been with us from the beginning of THIS journey and He wants us to understand that it is through Him that we will finish. Come to Him now and allow him to wrap you in His mantle of authority and shelter you from the storms ahead. I hear the rumbling in the distance, the sound of a mighty army moving into position. It is a well-prepared force, each warrior is in his place and prepared to do his duty. There is no fear in their number because they have been washed clean. Though their sins were as crimson, their raiment is white as snow. And there is one with them whose eyes are a flaming fire, clothed with a vesture dipped in blood, and His name is the Word of God. Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword to smite the nations and rule them with the rod of Truth and He tramples the wine-press of the wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His garment and on His thigh written the name, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. At His appearing every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that JESUS IS LORD!

God Of Hope! by Myra Boozer

I love the word HOPE! Without it where would we be? I have noticed when I focus on my own abilities I start to doubt but when in the presence of the Lord, my HOPE seems to grow. That says to me that my HOPE needs to be in the right source. Hope cannot be in me, our President, our government, our money, our church, or even our family. JESUS CHRIST is the only SURE source of Hope!

"Now the God of HOPE fill you with all JOY and PEACE in believing that ye may abound in HOPE, through the power of the Holy Ghost," Romans 15:13. The words, "that ye may abound in HOPE," are very important for me today and every day. The word abound means to be plentiful...to be rich in or to teem with.

The God of Hope, the source of Hope can fill us today with Hope, Joy, and Peace in BELIEVING. Not that we will just have a little hope, but that hope will ABOUND in us. That we would have plenty, be RICH in, and we will TEEM with (meaning to be prolific, producing much fruit). When we team with God, we (us and God) will produce much more HOPE.

I AM SO GLAD I KNOW THE GOD OF HOPE! On my own I am NOTHING, but He is EVERYTHING, and with Him, I am filled with HOPE TODAY.

God is able to bring HOPE into your life even if everything seems hopeless. Trust in the Lord and don't look at your circumstances because they usually produce doubt. Psalms 39:7, "And now, LORD, what wait I for? My hope is in thee." This tells me there is nothing else besides the Lord for us to put our TRUST in because He is our God Of Hope!

Go Back To The Beginning!

Wake us oh Lord to the full measure of your truth. We will not be content with only the resemblance of truth. Baptize us in your truth. Immerse us in your person. Let us put on the Lord Jesus Christ and be a living example because He is in us.

Go back to the beginning! God is the beginning and in Him we live, move, and have our being. He is the beginning, the beginning of time, the beginning of creation, the beginning of life, the beginning of man, the beginning of love, etc. James 1:16, “Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. 18Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” In this chapter, James addresses man's mortal weakness and propensity to sin. And right in the middle, he plants this golden nugget. Sure there is imperfection all around us but our life comes from above, from the Father of lights who never changes and there is not even an allusion to His changing. He is always the same, consistent, loving, compassionate, powerful, delivering, victorious Father.

Before the existence of anything, God was! In the beginning, God! Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” He is pulling us back to Himself as in 1 John 1:1, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;” John’s reference is to Jesus, the Word of Life being the incarnation of God who was from the beginning.

He has been with us from the beginning of THIS journey and He wants us to understand that it is through Him that we will finish. No other power, presence, or virtue is sufficient to complete our assignment! He will magnify our efforts and ministry as He receives the honor and glory for the results. The Holy Spirit is calling “Come wrap yourself in the power of His presence and allow Him to perform in you His glorious works!” I am weak but He is strong. If we allow Him to fully control our lives, we are made strong in our weakness because our weakness is God's strength. No enemy can stand against Him, there is no foe that He cannot overcome. No fortress can withstand Him and no opposition that He cannot vanquish. (continued)

I Can Only Imagine! by Myra Boozer

Oh Lord, how my heart does sing when I hear Your people worship in song. It is a glorious feeling to be brought into Your presence. Your love captures us and we are taken away by Your spirit, taken into the heavenly realms of rejoicing and praising Your Holy Name.

One day we will stand in Your presence and bow at your feet. We will be free from all of the thoughts that try to rush in and steal our admiration of YOU!

We will be without any restraints. We will have no hindrances. We will have no reservations. It will be a time of jubilation, a time of exaltation! What Joy will flood our mind, our body, and our soul.

This mortal body cannot imagine what Glory we shall experience when we see You face to face. "Will we dance before you Jesus or in awe of you be still?"

It will be an event like we have never experienced. So, we can only imagine what it will be like to stand before You in Your Glory.

I will continue to think on this day and prepare my heart to be still and just rest in the mystery of what Eternity will bring.

"Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted. For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted. For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our King," Psalm 89:15-18.

Then Face To Face!

Often as I look into the faces of my grandchildren, God’s gifts straight from heaven, I see in them the reflection of the face of God. I have often met them just outside my front door as they ran up my walkway. Their faces were all aglow with joy, so happy to come to our house. With sweet smiles on their faces and arms spread wide, they run into the arms of their anxiously awaiting grandfather. Such an exchange of love and embrace is hard to describe in ordinary words. I am overwhelmed with thanksgiving that God has created such a wonder.

The relationships that we have here are but a prelude to what lies ahead for the children of God. 1 Cor. 13:12, “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” As great as our revelation of God may be, our experience with God is veiled to some degree. Similar to Moses’ inability to experience the full impact of the majesty of God due to earthly constraints, there is a limit to our ability to fully entertain God. However, there is a time coming soon and we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” Now we see in part and know in part but at His appearing, we shall behold and share in the unveiled glory of the risen Christ.

I envision in my mind the images of making our final journey to our heavenly home. When we arrive at our destination I wonder how it will be. Will the experience be similar to that of my grandchildren? With our faces glowing with the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ, with smiles of redemption and arms spread wide, will we rush into the arms of our anxiously awaiting heavenly Father? 1 Cor. 2:9, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” We Can Only Imagine! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_lrrq_opng

May I Use This Breath! by Myra Boozer

“How beautiful are your ways oh Lord. Your Glory and your Good Pleasure are such a delight." I learn from the very air I breathe how vast your love is to all mankind and the creatures you have created. You blow upon this earth and we breathe. Our very Life is from your Breath. It is what sustains all of us!

Lord, may I use this breath you give to sing Praises to you Holy Name, to lift you high above the Mountains that your own breath created? You spoke all things into existence. May my heart rejoice in your Beauty and Splendor for all of my days.

May I use this breath to call upon you in a time of surrender of my will to your perfect plan. Accept my heart's cry today for I am helpless, useless, and utterly lost without your Mercy. I am as one who is groping in the darkness without you.

May I use this breath to tell someone of your great love. Some do not know or else they have forgotten just how much you love them. May my breath speak your unlimited Love to all people everywhere.

May I use this breath to speak Your Truth to those who should be ashamed, ashamed for turning away from your plan and going after their own “design” for lifestyle and behavior.

May I use this breath to sound the Alarm for all those who are far from you. Some just gave up and put down their armor. Others who just want to seek out an easy way, still claiming your Name. And yet others who have fallen asleep and do not know the times in which we live. As in the days of Noah, they see the conditions yet deny the judgment coming on all who sin.

May I use this breath to speak Hope to the hopeless and Life to the dying, Peace to the restless, and Joy to the sorrowful. May my words be uplifting and encouraging as I speak of your soon return for your Bride, Your Church, Your People, Your Chosen Ones.

May I use this breath to speak of your great treasures...the ones you have hidden in your Word...the hidden riches of secret places...that they may know that you are the Lord God of Israel...Amen and Amen…” May I Use This Breath!

Jesus Is Leading The Way!

John 14:5, “Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

In these last days, we must know Jesus Christ through a personal relationship. He is the only resource that we can fully trust. The systems of our world will fail and are already beginning the process of collapse. We must stay in intimate communion with Christ and seek His intervention in our lives. We must know God’s directions for THIS hour.

In John chapter 14, Jesus is preparing His disciples for His departure. In doing so, He gave them very specific instructions. In verse 1, He assured them that if they had put their trust in God they could trust Him(the Son of God). They could believe His promises just as their forefathers believed the promises of His Father(God). Jesus encouraged His disciples to understand that He was leaving but He was going to prepare a place for them. He also assured them that though He was going away He would return. John 14:3, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

Christ’s promise is that He will always lead the way before us. He will never leave us! We may turn and walk away from Him but He will never forsake us. We may feel at times that we are all alone. You may feel that you can identify with the tribulations of Job! Job felt abandoned, friendless and forgotten. Job 23:8, “Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: 9 On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:” In reality, God was there all along and through his faith Job was able to declare, “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold,” Job 23:10. And again in Job 19:25, “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: 27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another...”

There may be times that you feel like Job, abandoned, friendless and forgotten but the reality is that Jesus goes before us leading the way to our eternal destination. Jesus declared, “I am the way...” Not a way but the Way! Put your trust in Him and know that He will always go before you making His way to your eternal home. Our faith in Him is a sure foundation in these last days because Jesus Is Leading The Way!

The Healing Of Our Nation! by Myra Boozer

Tragedy brings people together. It also brings people to the place of feeling helpless, needing someone to care. When broken, people become open to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE. Wouldn't it be wonderful if our churches would join hand in hand, praying for the HURTING and praying for the SALVATION of this WORLD?

Churches are so divided by Doctrine and Traditions. They hardly communicate with each other...SAD...JESUS died for ALL and loves us all. We need to UNITE in HIM! He is our "Common Ground." Instead of looking at all the differences, we need to stand together in the UNITY of THE CROSS of JESUS CHRIST. SATAN IS PLEASED when we are divided. GOD IS NOT!

Lord, please help us (the Church) to reach out to each other...to ALL who believe in YOU...those who have the same HEART CRY...those who LOVE YOU and desire to walk in YOUR WAYS...those who feel the pain and suffering of the broken and destitute. BRING US TOGETHER IN LOVE FOR YOU and ALL THOSE WHO NEED YOU.

Please help me pray for this to begin in all areas of our world. There is strength in numbers and strength in people visually seeing that the CHURCH CARES.

It doesn't take much to show you CARE. But, it can make a world of difference to the person hurting. LET'S DO THIS! Pray and ask God to direct you in joining with OTHERS for a great purpose...THE HEALING OF OUR NATION!

It Is Time!

Many voices in the Church are calling the Body of Christ to Prayer. Today, we stand at the door of one of the greatest times in human history. We dare not move forward without fully understanding the gravity of our response to the call of God and the effect of that response upon ourselves and all that our lives might touch. Our future will be defined by what we do in this moment of our choice.

Many have already been praying! Those prayers have brought us to where we are now. But, we can't stop the prayer meetings. After 9/11 we had an opportunity to seek God and turn this nation around. But the praying didn't last. After only a few weeks we drifted back to business as usual. We cannot afford to take for granted the opportunity God is giving us. This is our last chance as a nation. Pray, Church! Pray like our lives depend on it. Because they do!

Can we pray? Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, we do here and now accept your challenge to pray in travailing prayer for our world that is lost and broken. We desire the Spirit of prayer to intercede. Open our spiritual eyes and ears so we can see and hear the cries of the lost, the beaten, and the debilitated.  Teach us to understand what they are facing. Guide us to see and hear them as you do. Give us the compassion and love that you have for them so that we are inspired to join in their redemption. Lift us up in the power of Your Word being fully dressed in faith to lead the captives free. Anoint us with your power that we may speak to the mountains before us and they will be moved into the sea. Let us see the prison doors spring open at the mighty thrust of Your Presence. Help us to run into the battle with such passion that others are seized with the same fervor. I can hear the sound of mighty armies engaged on the battlefield. Can we pray? It Is Time!

Joy Is Coming In The Morning! by Myra Boozer

Sorrows may last for the night

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Sickness may seem to have its way

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Heartaches may swell and your heart may bleed

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Friends may withhold their love from you

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Troubles may pound upon your door

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Your pantry may be empty and the rent may be due

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

The family you have counted on, all your life may all be gone

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Your finances may dwindle and finally run out

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

The night may be long and weary no doubt

But Joy is coming in the Morning!

Psalms 30:5, "...weeping may endure through the night, but joy comes with the morning."

Remember faith grows in darkness. He is Coming. Don't give up but hold to His promise! Joy Is Coming In The Morning!

Call Unto The Lord And He Will Answer You!

Psalm 3:3, “But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. 4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. 5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.”

We need to be ready to leave where God is not and go to where God is! It is always important to know where we are and where God is. Where are we in relation to where God desires us to be? I feel the need to press in and press through the enemy's opposition into the good that God has for me and all that I may influence. I must Call Unto The Lord!

Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” God has “good” planned for those who will answer His call and follow Him in faith. He has a secured end or divine heritage. We need not question our finish if only we will heed the voice of God. He knows where He is going. He goes before us and leads the way. John 10:4, “And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.” We must determine if we are going to follow Christ whatever the cost! We must Call Unto The Lord!

Jeremiah 29:12, “Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.” Oh, to Call Unto The Lord our God, to seek His face and hear and see His answers! He promises to hear and respond (hearken). Our challenge is to clearly perceive His response. The Spirit of God is pushing back against the darkness that permeates this sinful world. God is calling His warriors to come alongside Him, join in the battle, and share His victory. He is calling us to our knees to intercede for a lost and dying world. Will you Call Unto The Lord?

Jeremiah 29:13, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” God is always available, “...ye shall seek me, and find me...” He is always with us. But we must have a sense of His presence to recognize His voice and to understand what he is doing or planning to do. God's promise is that we will find Him when we search for Him with all our hearts.

The human condition requires the intervention of our creator. We always need God's assistance. The question is, “Do we really want his help?” Are we willing to relinquish complete control of our lives to Him? He knows the way we take (the path we should follow) and will direct our steps accordingly.

God has a plan for us, a plan for good and not evil. He has an expected (secured) finish for His faithful, obedient children. Lord, help us to search for you with all our hearts. Help us to walk in your manifest presence and to seek you with all our hearts! Amen. He compassionately entreats, pleads for us to Call Unto The Lord! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Akivn_j3oLs

Lord, I Will Trust In You! by Myra Boozer

When I was just a young girl l felt such rejection, loss, and despair. What went wrong? How did it all fall apart? I surely had made some horrible mistake that caused my father to walk away and start a life without us. Our Mother was broken and cried so much! How would we make it? What would we do? Where would we go? We had to leave our new home, our school, our church, and all our friends behind, not knowing what was going to happen to us.

I actually felt like a rag doll with no strength or courage to go on. But You Lord became the one that I called upon. I am grateful for your love that brought me to my knees as my heart cried out in despair. You picked me up and gave me the courage to face the life I felt was utterly destroyed. I was amazed that you could bring life to something that felt so lifeless, so dead, so empty. You put a smile back on my face as I was flooded by your great mercy and grace.

You filled me with your Spirit and put a song in my heart. You allowed me to sing in many different places, my church, other churches, larger church gatherings, and Youth Camp. You Lord, gave me a purpose and I began to allow you to be my Hope. You even brought my Daddy back home. It was not always easy but you put our family back together.

I saw your hand of guidance and protection everywhere. I learned that I could trust you and there was no need for despair. You looked down through time and counted me worthy to become your child. So I must never forget your willing heart to obey your Father. There is no greater sacrifice than when you accepted your assignment and walked the dusty road to die on Calvary's wretched cross. You washed me in the blood you shed and made all my sin as white as snow. You picked me up from my hopeless life and took away my sinful guilt which freed me from the debt I never could repay.

Lord I must Trust You to work your will in my life daily. I surrender to you, at this moment and every moment. Please help me to stay surrendered for that is the only way for me to feel secure. Lord sometimes the path seems too steep and you must hold my hand, even carry me when the way seems long, difficult, and scary. I love you Lord, and I am still learning to accept your love for me. I feel unworthy!

Help me to always follow in your ways. Lord this is not an easy prayer but neither was your prayer as you prayed all night and concluded with, “Father, Not my will but thine be done!" Lord, I Will Trust In You!

I Am A Friend Of God!

James 2:23, “...Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.”

Abraham put his faith and trust in the Lord God Jehovah. He trusted God enough to do as God directed in his life. The implication is that after Abraham considered all the facts regarding his relationship with God, he could follow God without reservation or doubt. As he walked in obedience with God, his life was a testimony to the faithfulness of God. Therefore, “...he was called the Friend of God.” What did that mean for Abraham? It meant that God considered their relationship so intimate and important that He (God) was compelled by that relationship to reveal to His friend those events that might affect his life and God’s calling upon that life.

Gen. 18:17, “...And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.”

God’s expectation of Abraham was that he would obey the voice of God. Abraham would be the vessel through which the nation of Israel would become a great and mighty nation. All nations of the earth would be blessed through him. God knew that Abraham would require his house and lineage to “keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment;” Therefore, Abraham needed to receive the information that would prepare him to make the correct choices and respond appropriately. So in verse 20, God warned him of His plan to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because of their sin and wickedness. Abraham petitioned God for any righteous souls that might live there. Consequently, Lot and his family were warned. They left and were saved except for Lot’s wife who disobeyed and looked back at the city's destruction was turned into a pillar of salt.

How is any of this relevant to our lives today? As professed followers of Jesus Christ, we must have an intimate personal relationship with God. That it is said of us, we are a friend of God. That He is compelled by that relationship to reveal to us, His friends, those things that might affect our lives and His calling upon us.

Know God and then you will know His will. When we come to really know Him intimately, His nature becomes our nurture. He then is the driving force within us affecting every decision and move we make. Our lives have been so affected by our encounter with Him that we have been forever changed in our desires to BE like Him.

“...I am come that ye might have life and have it more abundantly...” John 10:10. We truly begin to live life to its fullest in Jesus Christ! I AM A FRIEND OF GOD! HE CALLS ME FRIEND!!!
