Acts
2:2, “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing
mighty wind...”
“Let
Start In Me” is the title of a song that has been especially
stirring to me recently. (www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vDz5UypYlI) The 2nd
line of the first verse says, “There’s a strong wind stirring...”
As I listen to these words, I cannot help but reflect on Acts 2:1,
“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with
one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from
heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where
they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like
as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled
with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the
Spirit gave them utterance.”
I declare by the Holy Spirit that
there is a strong wind stirring across this land. A fresh wind of the
Holy Ghost is blowing across our world. Previously where there has
been doubt and defeat, God is raising up men and women who are
embracing His Voice, His Vision, and His Victory. He is showing,
through the lives of the faithful, that His eternal promises are
secure. God is revealing Himself to this generation as the awesome,
all-powerful, all-knowing, loving, nurturing Father that He is.
“There
is a change coming. Let it start in me.” The lines have been drawn.
God will bring His plan to completion. Satan will fight against God
and all who identify with His holiness. The wind of God’s Holy
Spirit is effectuating the change necessary in the heart of every
believer to make us ready for the finale. God’s desire is to enlist
all who will answer His call. Change is coming! Do you desire to be
changed? Are you willing to be changed?
Ezekiel
37:7, “So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied,
there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together,
bone to his bone. 8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh
came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no
breath in them. 9Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind,
prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain,
that they may live. 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the
breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet,
an exceeding great army.” (continued)
