Philippians
2:5, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal
with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the
form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being
found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient
unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath
highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in
heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that
every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory
of God the Father.”
The
demoniac recognized Jesus when he saw Him coming from a distance.
Mark 5:6, “But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped
him, 7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with
thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God,
that thou torment me not.” Jesus’ presence demands the reverence
and fear of Almighty God. Satan and his demons cower in the presence
of Jesus Christ. And there will come a time when all creation will
bow at the feet of Jesus. All creation will declare true reverence to
Him as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Christ
Jesus wants to move through the Body of Christ presently to manifest
His miraculous power. His desire through the Holy Spirit is to bestow
His power upon believers to carry on and finish the work that He
began. Jesus spoke clearly in Mark 16:17, “And these signs shall
follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they
shall speak with new tongues; 18They shall take up serpents; and if
they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay
hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” There is no obstruction
to deter us from our assignment and message if we will put our total
trust in Jesus.
And
again, He spoke to clarify our mission in John 14:12, “Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do
shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I
go unto my Father.” It is clear that Jesus meant for us to do what
He did and more. The Lord Jesus wants to use the Body of Christ to
march into Satan's house and rescue perishing souls. He has provided
the resources to do so!
Isaiah
foretold the mission of Christ and the Church in Isaiah 61:1, “The
Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me
to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the
brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening
of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable
year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all
that mourn;”
Will YOU take His hand and go into the deep dark
crevices of life and lead to freedom the poor lost souls of mankind?
At The Name Of Jesus, the darkness must give way to His Light! “And
that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the
glory of God the Father.” At The Name Of Jesus!
