Power To Define The Course Of History!

Since Acts chapter 2, the Church of Jesus Christ has been empowered to complete the work that Jesus began in John 2. Here, Jesus performed His first recorded miraculous act thus officially beginning His public ministry. John 2:1, “And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: 2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage...7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim...9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was:...11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.”

From that first miracle in Cana, Jesus proceeded to teach His followers the principles of the Kingdom of God. Throughout His earthly ministry, He taught them by Word and Example to prepare them for the ministry of His Church. Matthew 16:13, “When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus' promise was to build His Church upon the revelation that He was the Son of God. It was upon this TRUTH that He established His Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. 17, ”And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” The gates of hell can not prevail over the Power of the Kingdom of Heaven. Satan is defeated by the delivering power of Jesus’ blood sacrifice. 

Through the power of His precious blood, we declare VICTORY as the blood-bought Body of Christ. 19,” And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

Jesus also prepared them for the time when He could no longer be with them in His earthly body. He promised to send the Holy Spirit to take His place and lead the Church to complete His ministry in the earth.

Does the Body of Christ have the power to define the course of history? The answer is a resounding YES! Jesus Christ has endowed His Church, the Body of Christ with His power! “...All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. The power of God in the Holy Ghost empowers us to push back the darkness that has invaded this land. The power of God Almighty will break the chains of sin, disobedience, and rebellion. He will set at liberty all those who desire to follow Him. We are His servants. We stand where He stands by His power. We will do His work and break through the enemy's fortresses. We will go into the enemy's domain and rescue the perishing in the NAME of JESUS, the CHRIST, the SON of the LIVING GOD! We are endowed with the Power To Define The Course Of History!
