Jesus Walks With Us!

As I sat on my patio observing the wonder of nature, I was reminded of how intimate our relationship is with our creator. The wind gently rustled through the trees and causing the branches to sway back and forth. I could imagine the hand of God manipulating each branch much like I did as a child running my fingers through the tall, green blades of grass of summer. My heart felt compelled to say, “I see you there Lord. Yes, I am watching and listening.” It is exciting to know that He is so close to us. “Lord help us to always be aware of Your presence and not allow the struggles of this life to prevent that reality.”

Luke 24:30, “...he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. 31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.” These followers of Jesus Christ realized at that very moment that they had been entertaining the Hope of their lives, that it was the third day and Jesus was alive.

Luke 24:32, “And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? 33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them, 34 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon. 35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.” The veil of darkness was pulled back and the light of revelation rushed in. And so they rose up and returned to Jerusalem to join with their brethren in celebration of the risen Christ.

The revelation of this passage is that we are presently walking with our Lord Jesus Christ all along this journey. He is the Hope of our lives, our Savior, our Deliverer, our Miracle. As born-again believers, we place our faith in the sacrifice of Christ and His finished work on the cross. He paid the price for our sin and disobedience and we have only to believe. As believers, we can embrace this truth without reservation. With this promise, we can respond to all life’s challenges with faith and expect His deliverance because He Walks With Us!

Matt. 6:13, “For thine (His) is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”

In The Morning Light! by Myra Boozer

In the morning light, things are so much clearer. I can see further than I expected. I see HOPE resting high up on the mountain, just waiting for me to come and save her from all the doubts that were lurking during the night. They are hiding under the rubble of yesterday's leftover trials and heartaches.

I can see her looking all radiant in the sunlight, where I couldn't see her at all in the midnight. She needs me to be her friend as she bids me come. But, more importantly, I need her. I could never face TODAY without HOPE.

With so much depression spreading over our world and people feeling helpless and hopeless, I pray they will look up and find HOPE in Jesus Christ. He is the answer to all our needs. He gives us the strength to press on even though the darkness comes and doubt is always hiding in the shadows.

HOPE remains steadfast! The secret is, “get up out of the rubble of despair and reach for her.” Yes, it takes effort but, your life is dependent upon YOU making the right choice. Hope isn't hiding from you! But, you must look for her! In The Morning Light!

Light Or Darkness?

Matt. 24:9, “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

Our goal as the Body of Christ is not to offend or be offensive. However, offense is a characteristic of the end times. It is the struggle between light and darkness. Jesus said in His Olivet discourse that it would be this way. Many are offended because of the holiness of God’s Word. Many are offended when God shines His light into their darkness. Many are offended because they want to be justified in their sin but sin and holiness can not inhabit the same space. The Holy Spirit will shine His light upon our lives and reveal sin’s darkness in us. At that point, we must choose light over darkness or be forever lost.

My hope is that you will pray this prayer with me! “Lord Jesus Christ, I come to you today in my human weakness, aware that any good thing in me is what you have created. There is no substance, no state of mind or conscience that transcends the work of the Holy Spirit in me. I yield myself to the work of Your Spirit. Take me, prepare me, and use me. If there be any good thing in me, use it for your honor and glory. Jesus Christ be glorified in my life. I covenant with you to be what you desire me to be. I pray that my mind would be as the Mind of Christ, that my mouth would speak the Words of Christ, my hands would practice the Deeds of Christ and that my feet would take me into the Way of Christ. Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. May I ever walk in your Word. Lord Jesus, have mercy upon me and my house. I am forever Yours. Be glorified in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

If you prayed this prayer along with me, your failures are in your past. Repentance and submission are in your present. Triumph and victory are in your future! Praise be to the Lamb of God who was slain that by His blood we are washed clean! Light Or Darkness?

Let God Arise! by Myra Boozer

Stay close to the Lord and receive His Favor. Trust in Him and receive His Strength. Long for Him and receive His Glory. Walk with Him and receive His Power. Ask of Him and receive His Wisdom. Listen for Him and hear His voice. Praise Him and He will give you a Song. Humble yourself before Him and He will exalt you. Wait on Him with good courage and He will strengthen your Heart. Eat at His table and you shall be filled. Delight yourself in Him and He will give you the desires of your Heart. Submit yourself and He will wash you clean. Give what you have and He will multiply it. Sit at His feet and He will teach you. Look to Him and He will show you great and mighty things. Put your Hope in Him and you will not be disappointed. Lift Him high and others will be drawn to Him. Love righteousness and hate wickedness and He will anoint you with Gladness above others. Remember Him and you will rejoice. Let God Arise and his enemies will be scattered. Call upon Him and He will answer you. Seek Him and You will Find Him.

How Can We Escape?

Hebrews 2:1, “Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. 2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; 3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;”

How can we expect to escape the disapproval and judgment of God if we fail to embrace and obey the command of God? We who have made public confession of our decision to follow Christ are called to be faithful in our covenant to serve Him in obedience. We are saved to serve the purpose of Christ. His purpose is to publish the Gospel into all the world and that is our destiny as the Church of Jesus Christ.

It is extremely important that we understand that the mission of the Church is to reap the harvest. There is a shaking coming and even has already begun. It will shake the very foundation of the universe and everything in it. Sin and rebellion have forced a time of judgment and reaping. The writer of Hebrews expresses the gravity of our mission and the necessity of absolute commitment to God’s purpose through us.

Heb. 12:25, “See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: 26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.”

It is a dangerous thing to refuse the admonition of God, “See that ye refuse not him that speaketh.” God has spoken to this world through His Word and His messengers. In more recent years, the population of the earth has grown more and more indifferent to anything related to Christ. God has spoken in the churches and called us to righteous living but so-called Christians bristle at the thought that they are lacking in any sense.

The Word was given to us to rebuke, reprove, exhort, and instruct. The Holy Spirit of Christ was given to convict of sin and lead into all Truth. And that is what He is doing, convicting and teaching. His light will dispel the darkness. If we walk in His light, we will experience His constant, loving correction. Our correction means that we must make adjustments or change our course of direction. The Holy Spirit is our faithful, loving companion and will help us to go in the right direction.

How can we escape the righteous indignation of the Lord God Almighty if we rebel against the leading of the Holy Ghost? We must be obedient and faithful in our covenant to serve Him. Do not refuse the admonition of God. Embrace His direction in your life with submission and obedience to the Honor and Glory of God. Allow God to be glorified by your life and service to Him. At His appearing, you will be rewarded beyond any and everything that you have imagined.

2 Timothy 4:1, “I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” Otherwise, How Can We Escape?

Jesus Has Made Our Escape Plan! by Myra Boozer

Many have their heads in the sand and live in darkness to what is happening in our country. You would think that anyone could see through the agenda of the opposers of the wall. And it is NOT just about the wall, it is very deeply rooted in doing away with our ONE NATION UNDER GOD. The plan is to destroy all and anything associated with GOD and His rule because God is so offensive to them. They are of the darkness and cannot deal with the "LIGHT."

We don’t know the HATE that comes from the darkness. We have been exposed to some degree but it is not conceivable to our minds. Any people who promote the killing of innocent babies and save the turtles or (whatever) is a pretty good clue.

My greatest concern is that people are not able to discern the TRUTH. Those that are believing lies, and following after the twisted guilt trips that the left is putting on Christians...that we don't care about these people. How insane? They have come to this place to make EVIL GOOD AND GOOD EVIL.

They have twisted minds because of who they obey and it is not God the Father or His Son Jesus Christ. I have little if any hope for our country as a whole to turn back to God. Because many have allowed the "Lion" Satan to come into their homes and live with them. He has destroyed the moral fiber that held families together (the fibers of decency and respect for God and Country). NOW he can destroy the Nation.

Our HOPE is in JESUS CHRIST. As in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, the hope for the righteous was to get out before the destruction. Our escape is in the plan of SALVATION through JESUS CHRIST. He came to seek and to save those who are LOST.

Wake The Mighty Men!

Joel 3:9, “Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: 10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.”

This is a mighty spiritual war. Wake the mighty men! Call the ones who will agree together. Strong and mighty are those who will covenant together and be bound together by the cords of Truth.

Exchange your cultivating tools for tools of war. We must change our tactics. We must proceed as Nehemiah and those charged with rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem. Nehemiah 4:17, “They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon. 18 For the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and so builded...” They did the work with one hand and held a weapon in the other hand. They were prepared for the attack of the enemy at any time of the day or night.

It is time for an all-out assault on the powers of darkness. Go now and snatch precious souls from the clutches of evil. Go in the power and might of the Lord Jesus Christ within you. Time is running out. We are coming near to the consummation of all things. Zech. 12:8, “In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.” Look for the signs of Christ’s coming in the events surrounding the nation of Israel. It is there that the fountain will be opened for the salvation of the house of David. Zech. 13:1, “In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.” A third part will come through the fire and be refined as precious metal. Israel will call upon God, He will hear them and He will say, “It is my people,” and they will say, “The Lord is my God.”

Joel 3:9-17 is a description of the campaign of Armageddon. V12, “Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.” The valley of Jehoshaphat refers to the Kidron valley East of Jerusalem. The name means, “Yahweh judges.” The campaign of Armageddon will be a campaign of God’s wrath and judgment. Joel 2:2, “A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.” This is the great Day of the Lord. Joel 3:13, “Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. 14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.”

Now is the time! Awake you mighty men! Go now and snatch precious souls from the clutches of evil. Go in the power and might of the Lord Jesus Christ within you. Time is running out. We are coming near to the consummation of all things.

2 Corinthians 10:4, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;”
