Grace And Mercy Are Waiting For You! by Myra Boozer

People are leaving this world every day and going to their final destination. So much death, from little babies to the elderly. Ready or Not we will leave this world either by death or the Rapture. The big question is, “Are you ready to meet God?” Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus? Have you asked God to forgive you of your sins?

God has a great plan for your life here but if you seem to have missed it somehow, Grace and Mercy are still waiting for you to accept them. Forgiveness is still available for the asking. I know that sounds way too simple but God made it simple. Truth and Love have been waiting for you to open the door for them to come and invade your life like you cannot imagine. The power of the Holy Spirit wants to lift you above all the mundane living. He wants to set you on a path of Holy living where the river of Life flows freely for all who want to drink fresh, living waters. You will never thirst again!

If you are weighed down by a load of sin and regrets, it can be lifted by the prayer of repentance. You can be lifted by the wings of mercy to live in the realm of peace and joy. Yes, even in this life! There is Abundant Living for all who will surrender, give it up, let it go and find what God has designed especially for you.

NO, it will not always be a bed of roses. It will be hard, almost unbearable at times. But the road (this life) is so much easier to travel when Jesus is your personal guide and the responsibility to fix everything is not upon your shoulders alone. You will find that He is a constant help in time of need, always listening to your heart's cry and willing to carry you when you can't go on.

Jesus is never far from you and longs to be your dearest friend. He can give hope where there is none because of who He is. Seek Him while He may still be found! Isaiah 55:6, “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:” Grace And Mercy Are Waiting For You!

Jesus' Love Pulls Back The Veil That Separates Us From God!

I began this day as I do every day in the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. I see that His love abounds everywhere even in the areas of our world that appear to be dominated by sin. But, Jesus’ love is there! A love that transcends all obstacles, and penetrates into the most remote and isolated crevices of life. Every area of human existence is held in the shelter of His hand.

Your need and my need is laid bare before Him. He knows where we are, what we feel, and what we dream. He sees each despairing thought and feels the anguish that we feel. He identifies with every human experience and emotion that has and will touch our lives. He left His throne in glory, and took upon Himself the form of human flesh so He can tell you today, “I have been where you are and I feel what you feel.” He experienced the human condition in the fullest sense yet without sin. Heb. 4:15, “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

He is saying to the whole human race, “I understand. I have made a way out. Believe in me as the scripture has said and be free.” You may feel trapped in a place you don't want to be. Give it all to Jesus! He has made a way of escape for you. Trust Him! He knows the way. He is the WAY! Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Look to Him and live!

Righteousness Exalteth A Nation! Conclusion by Myra Boozer

Are we a Christian Nation? Do we want to be a Christian Nation? This nation is now calling evil "good" and good "evil" which does not line up with being a Christian nation. How can we look at any other people and call them bad when we are killing our unborn babies by the millions? I will not wait to be called a Christian nation before I take my stand. As a Christian individual, I must stand for God and His rule in my own individual life. I am bound by the promise I made to Him as a child to follow Christ to the best of my ability and understanding of His Holy Word. I cannot speak for anyone other than myself.

The day is here that what we “CLAIM” is not enough. What we “ARE” is what is going to count. If my belief does not affect every part of my life it is not my belief, only my profession. A country is only as good and strong as its people. Pastor Carter Conlon stated, “The United States of America has been warned. Our shunning of God will have a consequence. Already our rejection of TRUTH is leading to social, moral, financial, and political breakdown. Violence is sadly reaching alarming portions. Yet in the midst of it all, we still have a chance to embrace Jesus Christ. His heart and His arms are still open, though quickly fading from our collective view. For those of us who know God, we must NOW call out for His mercy to remain.” We must have people living holy lives in order to have Christian homes, Christian schools, and a Christian Nation. Do we really want a Christian Nation? Then we must turn our lives over to God.

Our God Jehovah is a God of Freedom... “Freedom is not the right to do as you please, but the power to do as you should.” Until a people or person sees their need for God they will continue on the path they have chosen, but the end will be devastating. God, please protect the innocent in this country and open the eyes of all who are in the valley of decision trying to decide if they are Christian or NOT. Time is running out! We just can’t have it both ways! Righteousness Exalteth A Nation!

I Will Declare The Glory Of God!

Psalm 19:1, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. 2Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. 7The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 8The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. 10More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.”

The heavens declare the glory of God. All nature proclaims the majesty of His Sovereignty. The mere combination of the elements of the universe attests to the magnificence of our Creator. Oh, that we had a thousand tongues to proclaim His majesty and glory to all generations. I will shout unto the Lord! I will call unto Him who is able to deliver from all the best-laid plans of the enemy. I will call unto Him from the mountain tops. I will call unto Him from the valley below. He will always hear my cry! He will always answer me!

Psalm 27:1, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. 4One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. 5For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. 6And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.”

I will not be consumed by the darkness of this world. God is the light of my salvation. He will lead me to that rock that is higher than I. His strength, His power, His Love, and His Grace are a shelter in the time of the storm. The forces of darkness must bow low to the Sovereign Light of Glory. His light dispels all darkness. Walk in His Light and the darkness dissipates at the sheer magnitude of His Glory. Walk in His Light as all evil will bow before His Throne.

All Creation must declare the Glory of God and that includes You and Me! (continued)

We Are Not Destroyed! by Myra Boozer

Have you lived at this address recently? ll Corinthians 4:8-9 "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;"

Verse 17- 18, "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory: While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal" Amen!

All Christians will suffer something at some point. We live in a fallen world and sometimes the prince of the world (Satan) will throw you a curve ball just when you feel forsaken by a friend or loved one. You know those days when the unexpected comes, like the central unit can't be fixed any longer and you need to get a new one...or when the nail in the tire can't be fixed and this calls for 2 new tires...when the doctor says your A1c is just not good enough and you need meds. We all have those days of trouble but take note we are not in despair, not forsaken, not destroyed. These things are light afflictions and sometimes they can bring something good to our lives...for one thing, they keep us humble if we allow them to. They also help us to see the hand of God and how he makes a way when we think there is no way.

These things we go through are preparing us for the road ahead to help make us stronger in our Faith. As our Faith grows, we learn so much about the all-sufficiency of our Faithful God. We learn he has a plan and if we will put our trust in Him, we will see there is no need to be troubled, distressed, or perplexed. When we work with Him, when we commit our ways to His ways, we realize We Are Not Destroyed but blessed. Amen!

It's Getting Late!

Ephesians 5:15, “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. 18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”

Every day and hour previous to this time has been intricate to the plan of God and instrumental to our success in service to Him. However, many times we have needed to return to God and ask Him for a “do-over.” The outcome of our plan didn’t turn out the way it was supposed to or we failed to follow through with our plan for some reason. Whatever the circumstance, God has given us a second chance to get it right. We usually have had the opportunity to do that.

Now, we have come to the threshold of eternity and we may not have time to go back and fix things as before. We need to get it right this time! I’m afraid we might not have a second chance. How many people do we pass in a day's time never to see or influence that person again? What will happen to them if no one else steps into their lives to inspire them to follow Jesus Christ? They will hear the Gospel message in some form or fashion but you just lost the opportunity to make a difference in eternity for that person or persons. We cannot afford to be negligent in being a good steward of this time.

In Ephesians 5, Paul is instructing all who would be accepted by God to follow Him as children of God. Paul goes on to state that believers are to walk as children of light. Previously, we were walking in darkness, but now we are light in the Lord. Therefore, live as children of light to shine in the darkness to direct the way of others. He said, “walk circumspectly,” or carefully knowing that our lives, our testimony will affect those around us. The response of others will depend on how we have responded to the Gospel and let Christ transform our lives.

“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Make the most of the time God has given us knowing that when that moment has expired it is lost forever to eternity. Evil is ever-present to resist the Gospel but the love of Jesus Christ is much stronger. Darkness is ever-present and will increase as we draw closer to the end but His Light shines even brighter in the darkness. Let Him shine through you! It’s Getting Late!

Righteousness Exalteth A Nation! by Myra Boozer

America started out with humble respect for God and country...to the point of saying "In God We Trust" on our money and "One Nation under God" in our pledge to the flag. We are a far cry from where we started out. Men have devised their own way and left God out.

I believe God wants all people everywhere to acknowledge Him and He will Bless those who do! He alone will judge the ways of man. He will discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serves God and him that does not! Psalm 9:17, "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and ALL the nations that forget God." Psalm 33:12, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people chosen for his own inheritance.” Proverbs 14:34, "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Every believer has a challenge before them to rise in the face of our enemy and say, “We proclaim the Truth of God’s Holy Word as revealed to us by His Holy Spirit.”

Are we a Christian Nation? Do we want to be a Christian Nation? The statement has been made that we are a "post-Christian Nation." Does that bother you? What can we do about it?

There is actually only one thing I can do and that is "Be Christian," be who I am, and do everything in my power and ability to live out Christian values as the Holy Spirit convicts me. I can not change the world! I can only change myself and my choices. I refuse to stoop to the level that the world is following. It may seem insane or ridiculous to you but it is my responsibility as a child of God to stand my ground and give my life for what I believe to be the truth. Whether you agree or not, my decisions are not based on your feelings but upon the truth revealed by the Holy Spirit that lives in my heart. I must stand by God’s Word or why would I claim to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

I think we are really no longer a Christian nation because many who call themselves “Christian” have decided to “make the rules” instead of "God Rule." When we don’t follow the dictates of our heart with God being our rule then we have no rule. We only do what is best or most appealing to us and our own desires. This leaves God out of the picture altogether...even if we call ourselves Christian, we are not. (continued)
