Jesus
spoke openly to the world, in the synagogues, the temple, on the mountain, on
the river banks, at the well, or in a home, wherever there was a need. He spoke
to the known world during His thirty-three years on earth, especially the last
three years. He spoke with boldness and authority given to Him by His Father.
The call was given and many followed Him, although Jesus pointed out those who
outwardly appeared righteous to men but within they were full of hypocrisy and
iniquity. Those kinds of people were going about as usual, causing division and
opposing the Truth of God's Word, and it is still happening today. People who
have their eyes on other people instead of the Lord will be hindered and
sometimes throw in the towel. That is not an excuse for not following the Lord,
but many use it.
Today
many hearts are closed with "Do not disturb signs" when it comes to
receiving God's Word. It appears many are driven by society to deny that God
even exists. Many are stubborn and rebellious rejecting the Holy Bible as the
Word of God, denying that it is written by men as they were inspired by the
Holy Ghost. Many are skeptics, doubting the virgin birth of Jesus and doubting
that He arose from the dead. Others may say they believe, they just have no
"POWER" to live a life of submission to the Lord. This is a reproach
to the Name of Christ.
This
world is getting further and further from the Truth of God's Word. The time is
urgent for those who know anything about the Lord Jesus Christ to make a strong
commitment. It is time to make an altar and carry everything to the Lord. If
you feel you have been playing church, it is time to get serious. If you have
been calling on the Lord only during 911 situations, it is time to refocus and
rededicate your life. If you have put Jesus Christ on a shelf and just pull Him
down when someone else is talking about Him, it is time to make a change.
Jesus is getting ready to split the Eastern Sky to take His children home. He is coming for those that are looking for Him. He wants to be your constant friend, one who walks with you and talks with you. He wants to carry your burdens and lift you above the turmoil of this wicked world. He wants to set you free from the bonds of religion and have a personal relationship with you. Matt. 10:37, “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” Time To Make A Change!
