Romans
8:35, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall
tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or
peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all
the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in
all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved
us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels,
nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to
come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able
to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our
Lord.”
This
world has entered a new era. There’s a feeling of something
extraordinary on the horizon, the conclusion of former things, and all
things becoming new. We are poised at the culmination of all things.
We are standing at the door of the most earth-shaking event in human
history. That is the soon appearing of the Son of God, the King of
Kings and the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ.
The
Holy Spirit is stirring within the hearts of believers creating an
anticipation and expectation for a last great move of God. The Word
of God promises that “I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh;
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall
dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:” Joel 2:28. This
prophecy was partially fulfilled in Acts 2:16, “But this is that
which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in
the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all
flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your
young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:”
The purpose of this outpouring is to cause mankind to realize the need of a Savior, to draw those who are willing to salvation, and to
bring the obedient into full fellowship with Jesus Christ.
God’s
design is to use the Body of Christ to spread this message of the
Gospel into all the world. He will provide the anointing and
resources to complete this mission. The faithful and obedient will
share in this victory! (continued)
