Where Could We Go?

John 6:63, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. 64But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him...66From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.”

I begin each day with the purpose of fulfilling God’s will and executing my commission here. I am empty except for what God puts in me. There are no words except that God should speak and give them. There is no song unless He composes and sings the melody. Where can we go except to go to God. He is the one who gives purpose to our living! We are nothing without His influence in every aspect of our lives.

Where could we go? Jesus is the one with the words of eternal life! Listen intently for His voice and follow Him to where He is leading. “...to whom shall we go? Jesus has the words of eternal life.”
