Disconnected From Our Creator!

Acts 17:24, “God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; 26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: 28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being;...”

Do you ever feel that you are disconnected from God? The cares of this world are pressing in and it seems like there is no place for the Lord. What has created such a disconnect from His Spirit? In the Garden of Eden, the spirit-man and the physical-man were perfectly joined together. The disconnect came when man disobeyed and sinned against God of heaven and earth, their Creator.

As a result of disobedience, Adam and Eve had to deal with issues in life that God never intended. God never intended that they concern themselves with anything relative to their living and provision (water, food, shelter, clothing). He had already made provision for all their needs and God presented Himself each day to walk with them in the cool of the evening. Anything they needed, God was right there in person to provide.

God's intention was that they dress the garden. We don't know exactly what that involved but we do know that the environment drastically changed after the sin of disobedience. They went from having everything they needed to providing for themselves through toil, sweat, and tears. The earth itself became a vessel of discipline. They were driven from the perfect climate of the garden to the dry and thirsty land of rebellion where they had to battle the thorns and thistles for food to eat. God cursed the ground because of sin and in the sweat of his face man would have food to eat. And the pain of childbirth would be greatly multiplied.

God never intended it to be this way. His plan was for the spiritual and physical to be perfectly joined together. How can that be with the fallen state of mankind? Through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, we can walk in the Spirit though we are present in this physical body. Though we live in this physical world, we live and move and have our being in Jesus Christ. Acts 17:25, “...seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things...28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being...” (continued)

Hand Writing On The Wall! by Myra Boozer

America is being ruled by sin and evil in many of the leaders of our country! That is why people like Franklin Graham, Jay Sekulow, Kurt Goff Live, to name a few, are constantly trying to get people to wake up.

There are many good and righteous people in our country who are praying and seeking God for repentance and change in America. But, how can it happen while so many of our leaders are promoting sin while at the same time making it very hard for the Christian to live according to the Word of God?

Some leaders are promoting the rights of those who are breaking and defiling the commandments of God. They are bringing chaos and building altars of disobedience while leaving behind the Divine Principles that our country was founded upon.

This is what I believe. Judgment is coming to this country and to the world! Those who remain faithful and true to the principles and laws of God will be hidden in the secret place of God, a hiding place for the soul of the righteous man. I am not saying no Christians will suffer, because many are suffering all over the world today.

I am trusting that this judgment will awaken the sleeping Church, the ones who have allowed their oil to run out. And those who were called of God, the prodigals will return to their Father. I am trusting this will happen before the Rapture and the great tribulations and the wrath of God that will be poured out on all those who will not repent!

God help us all to see the Hand Writing On The Wall and seek God as never before!

Satan Is Already Defeated! Conclusion

Satan is caught in the trap of his own deceit which separates him from the reality of God's plan. The reality begins at the cross. The reality is that the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin and delivers us from the power of sin. 1 John 1:7, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” Romans 8:2, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Therefore the blood of Jesus delivers us from the power of Satan's influence over this mortal body.

The reality is that the tomb could not hold Him. He is risen, exercising the power of God over death, hell and the grave. He gives us the hope of eternal life. The reality is that He ascended to the Father but He did not leave us powerless but promised the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” The reality is that He has given us power and authority to go into the Devil's house and take back what he has stolen from us. He is a thief and comes to kill, steal and destroy but Jesus has overcome him and so can we!

The reality is that He is coming again and soon. Matt. 28:11, “Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”

God’s Promise for the Believer: 1Thess. 4:16, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

God’s Promise for the Deceiver: Revelation 20:10, “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” Satan Is Already Defeated and that is the Conclusion of the matter!

What Are You Trading Your Life For? by Myra Boozer

Matthew 13:44, “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.”

Just thinking about what is important to me, you know, what really matters? Some things just don't matter! Lately, every time I say it doesn't matter, Bill starts singing "It don't matter where you bury me." Well, me either but there are some things that really matter. What matters is not possessing many things of value but possessing the one thing of greatest value, the Kingdom of God!!! It's worth more than all the other things we could ever find.

What are you trading your life for? Day by day we usually spend our time doing what we want, working to pay bills, saving for a vacation, new house, new car, on and on. But what really matters? When we come to the end of our life I don't want to find that I spent my life on "things." I don't want to find that what I traded my life for was "fool's gold," shiny, insubstantial and ultimately worthless things. But that I sought out the "pearl of great price" like the man in the parable of the treasure hidden in the field. He knew what mattered! Do you? Whatever you have to give up to get the great treasure it will be so small compared to the treasure that is waiting on the other side. Seek ye first the kingdom, then these other things will be added. But, they will never be as important or take the place of the greatest treasure God has for you in His Kingdom...Matt. 13:44-52.

A Life Lived Well!

John 14:1, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

When I come to the end of this life’s journey, what will await me? Will my life have been lived well or just be a life spent, consumed, exhausted, used up? Will I just be a worn out specimen of human flesh or will I take on the eternal nature of Jesus Christ?

The choice of how we finish our life is left up to us! We choose eternity by how we choose to live each day of our lives. Are our thoughts and activities focused on our passion for Jesus or our passion for the things of this world?

The choice is ours! Let the love and passion of Jesus Christ capture your heart, soul, and mind. Walk with Him today and you will walk with Him in eternity. Oh, Give me Jesus! You can have all this world, just give me Jesus!

You Are My Perfect Rest! by Myra Boozer

Today I am thankful for Rest! God created the world, but on the 7th day He rested and He set aside this day for his people to rest also. I hope that doesn't change with so many changes these days. But even greater than our physical rest, there is a rest that every believer can enter no matter what our problems may be.

When we are overcome by unexpected pain or trouble, we tend to get stressed, even for a moment, and sometimes "really upset." Becoming more worried and distressed, sometimes to the point of getting sick over a matter. BUT, when we can just step back and REMEMBER "who" is in control, everything can change because God has rest for us. Rest from anything or person who might cause us grief or heartache.

In Christ, we lay back in His arms of great mercy and know that He is taking care of us. This is absolutely the very best rest you will ever find. When you lay it all down at His feet and as a little child you're allowing Him to give you the love and comfort that only He can give.

Thank you, Lord, that I have learned to trust you! Lord, help me to keep learning from you. You are my rest no matter the day of the week. My perfect rest is in you and thru you.

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 6-7

Here In Your Presence!

Thank You, Lord, for Your Awesome Presence experienced this day. You are mighty Oh God in the midst of Your people. Who can stand against Your beloved as You dwell among them? How Great and Mighty You are, ready Your Wonders to perform. Is anything too difficult for You? “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” Jer. 32:17. There is nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing that God can’t do. Put your faith and trust in Him today!

Found in your hands, fullness of joy
Every fear suddenly wiped away
Here in your presence

All of my gains now fade away
Every crown no longer on display
Here in your presence

Heaven is trembling in awe of your wonders
The kings and their kingdom
Are standing amazed

Here in your presence
We are undone
Here in your presence
Heaven and earth become one

Here in your presence
All things are new
Here in your presence
Everything bows before you

Wonderful, beautiful, glorious
Matchless in every way
Wonderful, beautiful, glorious
Matchless in every way
