Seeking God's Face!

Do I want God’s blessings or do I want Him? I make the conscious decision here and now that I want Him! More than anything, I want my life to be governed by Him totally. Am I willing to pay the price? What price? You mean there is a price, an investment on my part?

To have God to govern our lives totally, we must abandon any and everything that resembles the old life of flesh. That means that my will is submitted in every sense to His will. That means He is living His life through me, not as a puppet but as a dedicated servant.

You mean I am to be a slave to God and that is the only way I am going to have Him? 1 Cor. 9:19, “For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.” The word translated here “servant” in the Greek text means “to make a slave of, reduce to bondage.” Paul was saying that he had become a slave to Christ. He simply meant that his life was consumed with obeying Jesus’ leading.

When we were in sin, we were servants to sin. We were made slaves under the bondage of sin. Sin controlled all thoughts and actions. We have put away sin and no longer serve sin. Galatians 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Therefore, we are no more slaves to sin but servants of the Lord Jesus Christ. Repentance Will Bring A Glorious Reunion! by Myra Boozer

"And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie; but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life." Revelation 21:27

Over two thousand years ago evil men set out to kill the Baby Jesus. Many babies have been killed through the ages but it was not time for JESUS to die. God had a plan for His life. It was not an easy life, but he was faithful and He endured the cross for the JOY that was set before Him. He told us in THE LORD'S PRAYER to pray, “...deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever...” Matt. 6:13

Many babies have been killed thru the years. We can't do anything for those babes that were overtaken by evil. BUT, we can pray for our babies that we all can be ready when our time comes to leave this world. Jesus has a place, a kingdom where He is the King and no evil can enter...NO MORE Dying...NO MORE HIDING FROM EVIL...NO MORE CRIES AND NO MORE TEARS. ALL WILL BE JOY IN THAT PLACE. OH, I WANT TO GO! What a blessed Reunion we will have with all those gone on before us.

I believe we will see and hold every one of those precious babies and I pray that many mothers will be reunited with the baby they never held...the one they thought they couldn't take care of... the one they didn't want or have time for. In some cases, the Mother may have been made to have an abortion by her parents or guardian. The good news is that Repentance makes all things new, pure and lovely. Repentance Will Bring about A Glorious Reunion. That will be such a wonderful day for the Child of God. Our Future is filled with HOPE...Looking forward to the meeting in the air, and “...so shall we ever be with the LORD.” 1Thess. 4:17

Yielded To The Master's Direction!

A gentle wind blows across the grassy lowland today. The tall blades of grass sway back and forth as the wind caresses each one. It is as though each individual stem is engaged in a perpetual dance with the Creator. First this way and that way, around and around, up and down. It is such a beautiful scene to observe but how wonderful it would be to participate.

But, we do participate! We are engaged with our Creator in this beautiful production we call life. The orchestra plays and we move to the music much like the wind blowing upon the grassy field. The wind of life influences each and every movement, first this way and then that way, around and around, up and down.

God is the Grand Conductor of this beautiful experience. He is in control of it all. However, each participant must yield to the Master’s direction and respond to each command. Then, we become part of the Master’s grand presentation, every movement synchronized and every note in perfect harmony. Oh, what a glorious sight to behold and exquisite sound to hear, each note and each movement draws closer and closer to the crescendo and finale. Up, up, up, our spirit rises! Higher than ever before and then we see the face of God!

What will you do with your opportunity to engage in the Master’s grand production? Are you faithfully rehearsing and preparing for the final performance? Or, have you been slack in your duty and commitment? Maybe even cast aside your instrument and it lies motionless and useless gathering dust in a corner somewhere?

You cannot proceed without the Master’s directions! Though you may have been absent, distracted or focused on other things, the Master still holds your place. He always has a vacant chair for you, no auditions and no competition, just come to Him. He loves you! He will counsel, guide and support you. He will prepare you for the final performance. Follow Him and you will be ready for the Finale! Yielded To The Master’s Direction!

Who Is On The Lord's Side? by Myra Boozer

WHO IS ON THE LORD'S SIDE AMONG YOU? This is the title of an old song that was sung about 40 years ago. I am asking the same question today. You don't have to answer now but in the days to come, the question will clearly be asked. Pressure is going to become stronger (MORE INTENSE) and you will have to give an answer.

The answer is not a true or false, or even a multiple choice, it is an answer that will be given by the way you live your life and stand true to what the Bible says about sin. Yes, you will be hated by the world, not by just one or two friends but by the world and its system...REJECTION in the highest form.

You may have been a Christian in hiding, following God from afar. But you will be asked, “are you one of them?” Be ready! It will take the power of the Holy Ghost in our lives to say, yes I am, and I agree with the Word of God. ALL OF IT...not just the acceptable part that people love to hear...BUT THE PART WHERE SIN WILL BE JUDGED...THAT NO VILE OR UNCLEAN PERSON (ONE NOT COVERED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS) WILL ENTER INTO HEAVEN...ALSO, THAT SIN WILL REAP IT'S JUST REWARD...THAT JUDGMENT IS COMING UPON THIS WORLD...THAT JESUS IS THE ONE AND ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN.

Get ready! Don't delay! Call upon the Lord to give you what is needed when the question is asked, “Who Is On The Lord’s Side?”

We Must Respond Correctly To Divine Revelation! Continued

So what is the proper way to respond to a revelation from God? One should respond with holy reverence and submission. In Isaiah 6, he saw the Lord sitting on His throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple. He responded in holy reverence by falling on his face in total submission, lying prostrate before the Lord and crying out, woe is me for I am undone. Revelation puts one in awe of how miraculous God is but brings the understanding that God wholly embraces the repentant. Isaiah came face to face with the grace of Almighty God and he would never be the same. God’s question was, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” Isaiah’s response was, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8.

In Luke 2, how did the shepherds respond to the appearance of their Divine Messenger? Luke 2:9, “And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.” They were terrified although they were the recipients of Divine Revelation. Luke2:10, “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy...” God's revelation brought good tidings personally and “which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” These were glad tidings. The promise was not only to the shepherds but to ALL people.

We must respond to God's revelation with the appropriate action. The shepherds did just that. “And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us,” Luke 2:15. God will validate and confirm His message. But we must be willing to pursue after the Truth. More often than not, God's revelation comes in steps, short messages, small pieces. Piece by piece you find its place until you can see the complete picture. (continued)

The World Must Hear God's Truth! by Myra Boozer

Why do many churches compromise, neglect, forget and even reject the Bible standard? They didn't start out that way but little by little the compromise began. Slowly the TRUTH was neglected and forgotten until in many cases, completely REJECTED.

It truly breaks my heart to see so many falling away from THE TRUTH that was once delivered to the saints. This is a prominent SIGN of the last days. Many are following those who crept in unaware and diluted, watered down the teachings of Jesus Christ. Those who changed the meaning of what the Word actually says to fit their own lustful desires. Innocent people in search of TRUTH will blindly follow those who are ungodly, unholy, unrighteous, those speaking lies and taking advantage of people. We are warned in the Word to be aware of such people and have no part with them.

2 Peter chapter 2 speaks of these false prophets. People deserve the TRUTH! TRUTH should be prevalent in every church preaching Jesus Christ because He said, “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE,” John 24:6. Be aware...it is NOT being taught! People have followed their own ways and still operate under the guise of being "Christian” churches.

BUT know this, we have the WORD OF GOD! Get into the WORD! Study and know for yourself what God expects from you. Turn your life over to him, seek Him until you are filled with His Spirit. It takes His Spirit to understand His Word. Then listen to His voice. In all your ways acknowledge HIM, obey HIM. He said He would direct your paths and lead you in TRUTH...The World Must Hear God’s Truth!

The Role Of Divine Revelation In Our Salvation!

1 John 4:13, “Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.”

No man can truly say that Jesus is the Son of God except by the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of God. Our finite, carnal mind cannot comprehend this gift of God to our lost and dying world. It takes the illumination of the Holy Spirit to open our consciousness to the reality of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for the redemption and salvation of our souls. God must take yet a greater role in our salvation by opening our heart in Divine Revelation to the magnitude of His gift of salvation. 2 Corinthians 9:15, “Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.”

And that is only the beginning! God must continue to lead us by Divine Revelation to where He is going or we will get lost along the way. Therefore, we must recognize the element of Divine Revelation in our personal relationship with God. We will experience competing doctrines and theories in our quest to fulfill God’s purpose through the Word. It is only through Divine Revelation that we can know the His TRUTH. The Holy Spirit will assist us in receiving the TRUTH if we will open our minds and hearts to Him.

Revelation is a personal experience. A revelation may impact one person, a great number of people or generations of people. For instance, when the angel of the Lord announced the birth of the Messiah to lowly shepherds in Luke 2, they were alone in a rural area and the message was for them. Luke 2:8, “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.” The angel of the Lord spoke directly to these few shepherds alone in the countryside. His message was a message to them first and then meant to be shared with the world.

First, the revelation was a personal experience. These shepherds had a visual and an emotional experience. “And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid,” Luke 2:9. Not only was it a personal experience but also an emotional experience. They were afraid for the magnitude of the glory of God they were experiencing.

As with most revelations from God, this experience was accompanied by awe and reverence. In most instances when God reveals Himself to us, we respond in utter disbelief that it could be happening. This scene causes my heart to proclaim, “WOW, WOW, WOW.” No doubt they were paralyzed with fear. But God always comforts and reassures when we recognize Him and respond properly. So, what is the proper way to respond to the presence and revelation of God? We must respond with holy reverence and submission. (continued)
