God Will Judge Sin!

Evil and sin come upon us as a mighty hurricane, moving slowly and methodically destroying everything in its path. Destruction howls like the wind, undermining the very foundation of all that we admire and trust. Evil lurches out at the family devouring the cohesiveness of love, trust and communication creating walls of isolation, unbelief, and contempt. Thereby neutralizing the principles upon which our very existence is founded. Evil strikes at the heart of the governing bodies of our societies. It began in our educational systems and has infected every level of governance reaching to the seat of our national and international institutions.

Apparently, leaders and policymakers have forgotten that the education of our children will invariably affect our nation and ultimately the world. What we teach in our homes, churches, schools and universities will establish the mindset for the succeeding generations. The guiding principles of our forefathers are strategic and indispensable elements to the continued survival of this nation as we have known it. This nation was established as a democracy with governance by the people and for the people. The ideals of love of God and country have sustained us in all our conflict throughout our history. If we allow the name of God and Jesus to be maligned and degraded, we are setting the example for the next generation. If we allow the principles of personal freedom and liberty to be diluted and discarded, we will pay the price in defeat and ruin.

A people that reject God will be given over to their own devices and suffer the consequences. The structure of the family has disintegrated because we have not followed God. The health of our churches is diminished and some have expired because we have not followed God. Every institution, every governing body at every level has depreciated in value and relevance because we have not followed God.

Is that what we want as a nation? Do we want to be abandoned by our Creator and go it all alone? I think not. So then, what are we to do? Moral fortitude and intellectual rhetoric can not address the plague of sin that has consumed mankind. The answers cannot be legislated, addressed by executive order or by a ruling by the highest court in the land. None of these actions can put us back on course as the human race.

I hear the Holy Ghost saying, you can't think your way out of this. You can't buy or spend your way out. You can't bargain, barter or compromise. We must return to the TRUTH or go down with the sinking ship. We can carry on our religious events void of the inspiration and revelation of God or we can repent and allow God to forgive our sin and heal our land. Reasons For Judgment!

When I began to study the Lambert prophecy, my heart became weighted down with the proclamation of coming judgment. I have come to understand that mortal flesh cannot change what is coming. The world is on a collision course with the unrestrained judgment of God. His judgment is the consequence of sin. “For the wages of sin is death...” Romans 6:23. We can only control our response to the warning. We can allow the declaration of coming judgment to affect us negatively and cause us to neglect the commission Christ has given to us. Or, we can rise above the negative connotation and allow the Holy Spirit to use us to declare His warning to a lost world and see the salvation and deliverance of eternal souls. The HOPE of this world is Jesus Christ. He wants to save all who will respond to His warning. We are called to sound the alarm!

Because of the heavy burden on my heart, I began seeking God for revelation concerning the warning of judgment. During a time of prayer, I opened my bible to John chapter 19 and began to read. The Lord spoke to me as I began to read v11, “...Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above:..”

Pilot's statement had been, v10“...I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee.” Jesus' reply was, you “...have no power...except it were given thee from above...” Pilot desperately wanted to release Jesus but that was not the plan of God. That power was given to Pilot for God's purposes which was the death of His Son, Jesus. As I meditated on these verses the Lord said, “You cannot change what is to come, only your response to it. You can be defeated by it (judgment) or RISE above it.” We can let the fear of judgment cause us to pull back and cower in a dark corner or we can declare freedom in the Gospel and see the restoration of broken lives.

I have asked myself repeatedly “Why judgment now?” There has to be a reason for such a consuming work of God! One conclusion is that the work of the Holy Spirit will reveal disobedience through His judgment of sin. Will You Hear His Voice?

Revelation 2:7, “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”

God wants to prepare us for what is just ahead but many cannot hear. Why can they not hear? They hear the words, only the words! The Gospel is being preached! The Holy Ghost is warning of end time events! But they are listening with their ears. In Mark 8:18 Jesus said, they have eyes to see but cannot see, they have ears to hear but cannot hear. Just as that generation who heard the message of Jesus, rejected the truth of the Gospel, there are many who will hear this message and reject it. What happened to that generation? They missed their opportunity for salvation and deliverance by their Messiah because their religion closed their spiritual eyes and ears. I fear that there are some today who will miss this great opportunity to see the unrestrained revelation of the rapturing Jesus because their religion has closed their eyes and ears to the Truth. Jesus is coming and soon. Are you ready? Are you ready to receive the Truth? Get ready and stay ready!

“Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, I ask YOU to prepare our hearts to receive what YOU have prepared for us in this hour. I ask that YOU remove any obstruction that would prevent us from receiving YOUR Revelation. Take this fresh lump of clay and begin to fashion anew the vessel of YOUR desire in us.”

Who Will Be Ready? by Myra Boozer

Hebrews 9:28, “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

" What kind of people must we be to be ready for the return of the Lord and to enter the kingdom of heaven with Him?" There are many answers to be given. The one that stays with me so much is...We must be watching and waiting for Him (carrying out His commission). He is coming for those who are looking for Him!

We must be set apart from this world and its hold on us. We must be in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ so as to want to be with Him. Not just use Him as an escape to "get out of " what is coming upon this world. God will judge this world because of sin and wickedness. Luke tells us, "Watch out! Don't let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don't let that day catch you unaware, like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth. Keep alert at all time. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man," Luke 21:34-36 (NLT). We must have ears to hear and recognize His voice when He gives us direction... also to hear the trumpet sound...not everyone will hear that sound. We must be ready to go with Him. The Word says to be alert, not dulled by careless living.

Do we love the Bridegroom? Are we laying aside every weight that would hinder us from being ready? Are we watching for His coming? The Truth about the Rapture gives us great incentive to deny worldliness and live holy and righteously today because He could come today.

I wrote this a couple of years ago...More true today than then...Don't let anything sedate you. Stay watchful! This world can pull you in by its luring bait...which looks all pretty and innocent...but it is a trap and not easy to escape once you have bought into it. Jesus said "And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things, entering in, choke the word, and it become unfruitful," Mark 4:19. 1 John 2:15 tells us to “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

Lord Jesus, Open The Eyes Of My Heart!

Lord Jesus, I pray that you make me a blank slate today. That you begin anew to create the person you want me to be. Remove from me the pride of the accomplishments and successes of yesterday. Today is a new day, a new beginning, to fulfill and display Divine tasks fresh from the mind and heart of God. Lord, remove from me the crushing weight of past failures and inadequacies. Help me to throw off the suffocating thoughts that paralyze my forward movement and hinder me from fulfilling your perfect work in me. Help me to be friend, neighbor, companion, father, grandfather, servant, pastor, preacher, prophet, intercessor, deliverer. Help me to be faithful, loving, compassionate, kind, enduring, helpful, gracious, holy, victorious, strong, reverent, thankful, pleasant, encouraging, supportive, gentle, consistent, anchored, gracious, resilient, humble, submissive, trusting, and obedient. And tomorrow, I will start all over again in order to make each day a new day in Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen!

John 9:10, “Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened? 11He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.”

We Must Experience Holy Ghost Transformation! Part 2

Our standard should be modeled after the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. Jesus became the new template, the new and better way and He delivered the plan in person. He became the living example through which those desiring God are transformed and enter into a living personal relationship with Him.

This transformation is initiated by the renewing of the mind. The Word states, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Phil. 2:5. Have the mind of Christ rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation and continuing instant in prayer. Walk in this life in Divine communion with the Father having continued access to His strength, power, wisdom, and deliverance. We cannot think like the world thinks and walk like the world walks and expect to be a citizen of the Kingdom of God and as such walk in unrestricted communion with Him. That is why we must experience a change in our temporal mindset, a spiritual transformation brought about by the Holy Ghost in response to our obedience and submission to Him. Thereby, we are restored to a level of communion that man experienced in the garden before his sin. We are regenerated by the Holy Spirit to walk in intimate, holy and unrestrained relationship with God.

The result of our intimate union with God is to know His perfect will for our life. God has a good, acceptable and perfect will for each life He has created. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” Jer. 29:11.

The reason many people never fully understand and experience God's plan for them is they lack that intimacy with God. Because of the mercy and grace of the cross, God will meet us where we are. The redemptive power of Jesus' blood will reach into the deepest darkness to rescue anyone, anywhere. But, we must be willing by the strength of the Holy Spirit to leave the darkness and step fully into the illuminating power of His Word. By embracing His Truth and walking in obedience the door is thrown fully open for intimate communion and revelation to “prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Thank you, Jesus!!!
