Can You Believe? by Myra Boozer

Can you believe how fast things are falling apart in this country, and the world, for that matter? God will not put up with evil running rampant for an extended time. He will come and fight against these evil people who seem to prevail.

God has all power, and those who think they are so high and mighty to come against God and His Holy Word will find that they can ONLY do what God allows them to do. One day they will tremble in His presence, bow their knee and confess He is LORD. But that will be too late! NOW is the day of salvation!

Somehow, I believe these, that have turned to such rebellion against God and the Truths that our country was founded upon, at some point rejected the still small voice of a loving God who offered His only Son for their sins. But they rejected Him! When any person keeps on rejecting God, they are falling deeper into the arms of an evil master who will consume them with his deceitful ways and carry them with him to the pits of hell.

God has given us another day (well, He could come at any time, before the night has ended), but we have this time right now to surrender our hearts, our minds, our wills. It could be too late for those who don't have ears to hear, but for those who have ears, let him hear what the Spirit is saying. Call on the Lord while He is near! Seek Him while He can still be found. Please don't take God for granted and spurn your opportunity to know Him as Lord and Master of your life.

"For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled," 1 Peter 3:12-14.

There is a song that says, "God is fighting for us. He is on our side. We will not be shaken. We will not be moved." God is so faithful to His children! He will not allow them to be defeated. Can You Believe?

Rediscover Your Identity In Jesus Christ!

Malachi 3:7, “Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?”

We find numerous passages in the Bible where God instructed His people to repent and return to Him. How can that be relevant to the Body of Christ? Because our attention can be easily diverted from the vision we have of God's work and our mission. We are easily distracted from God's business, so we need Him to remind us often of where we are and what we need to be doing. We need the Holy Spirit to reveal where we have slipped away and where we need to return.

Enabled by the Holy Ghost, go back to the inception of the vision. Go back to where you started. Examine anew your decision to follow Christ, your mission, and purpose. What was your perception of your relationship then, and where are you now? What has changed? What about the vision needs your attention? In the beginning, it was all about Jesus, the truth of God's Word, and His commission. We must allow the Holy Spirit to open the windows of our souls to the revelation of His perfect truth and how that will be implemented through our lives. Rediscover who you are in Jesus Christ!

Do You Know Jesus? by Myra Boozer

Do you know the love of Jesus? Has He come into your life and brought peace where confusion and turmoil once lived? Has He come with His whisper of the love that He has for you and your family? Has He given you joy beyond measure, sharing with you the abundance of the heavenly rain that covers all souls that delight in Him? Do you feel His arms of security and confidence in His plan for your life, or do you feel like a lost ship on the sea of time? Do you awake each morning with the hope that today you will be able to share the good news with the world that so desperately needs it...all because you know JESUS, the author of good news? Do you have a laughter that comes from a deep, deep well of living water that springs forth, giving life?

Do you know the love of Jesus? The compassionate one who feels every heartache, and sees every tear that falls from your eyes...Do you know this man who gave His very life so that you would not have to receive punishment for the sin of Adam that is born in each of us? Do you know Him? Do you know that He is coming to take those who love Him to live with Him forever in a place that eyes have not seen and ears have not heard? There is nothing on earth to even compare.

Jesus is the one who picks me up and turns me around. He puts me on solid ground when I feel dizzy from the hustle of this life. He is the one I depend on to give me strength. He is the one who gives me HOPE that no matter what may come, no matter what may happen, that I can be FAITHFUL to Him and TRUST Him for the outcome.

Specific Instructions From The Lord Jesus! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 10/7/25)

1 Samuel 3:11, “And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle. 12In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end. 13For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.” Note: there was a time for repentance (see 1 Sam. 2:27-36), but it was too late at this point. “14And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever. 15And Samuel lay until the morning, and opened the doors of the house of the LORD. And Samuel feared to shew Eli the vision. 16Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here am I. 17And he said, What is the thing that the LORD hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee. 18And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good.”

In 1 Samuel chapter 4, we observe the fulfillment of God's judgment upon the house of Eli. Israel went into battle against the Philistines, and the battle did not go well for them. The Israelites sent for the Ark of the Covenant to be brought to the battlefield, presumably to elicit the intervention of God and encourage the soldiers to press on to victory. However, the Israelites were already defeated. There was nothing that could be done, “the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering forever,” v14. This was all according to God's plan to bring Hophni and Phinehas to the battlefield as they accompanied the Ark. The Ark was captured, and Eli's two sons were killed in battle. Eli, having received the news of what had happened, fell backward off his seat, broke his neck, and died. Phinehas' wife, being with child, went into labor when she heard of her husband's death. She named the child Ichabod, which means “the glory is departed from Israel.” God's warning was that He would cut off the house of Eli. 1 Sam. 2:31, “...there shall not be an old man in thine house.”

The death, devastation, and destruction in Israel was because there was not a man who would hear the Word of the Lord. The glory had departed from Israel because they would not hear the Word of the Lord. The death, devastation, and destruction in our world is because of man's failure to hear the Word of the Lord. In 1 Samuel 7:3, we observe the beginning of Samuel's revival ministry, “And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines. 4Then the children of Israel did put away Baalim and Ashtaroth, and served the LORD only... 9And Samuel took a sucking lamb, and offered it for a burnt offering wholly unto the LORD: and Samuel cried unto the LORD for Israel; and the LORD heard him.” It is imperative that the Body of Christ continually receive specific instructions from the Lord Jesus for our mission each day until He returns for us.

Speak Truth At Thy Windows! by Myra Boozer

How much longer will we have this freedom to write what is on our minds? On March 31, 2015, during the night, I heard these words repeatedly in my mind. I so wanted to remember them. I believe they are important to me and maybe to you, "SPEAK TRUTH AT THY WINDOWS." I knew immediately that the word Truth was talking about Jesus because He said, "I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE."

I know what windows are. I love windows. They are so important in a house. A building of any kind needs windows. They let the light in and bring such warmth on a cold day. They can renew my spirit when the sun is shining, but my heart is weary.

Windows are valuable to me. But, I knew there was a greater meaning to the word "window." Webster defines it as an opening in a building, vehicle, etc. BUT HERE IT IS...the interval during which something can be done. The message is very clear, and I cherish it. Speak JESUS at the time during which it can be done. The Bible says to work while it is day, for night is coming, when no one can work. We are given the opportunity NOW to tell people about JESUS. We need to do it more than ever. JESUS IS THE WAY, THE ONLY WAY. IF YOU LOVE HIM, TELL OTHERS ABOUT HIM.

Today is a good time to get to know Him, if you don't already. I must continue to write what God puts in my heart as long as I have this freedom. I pray that you can receive something. All I can do is press on for His Name's Sake. As spoken by Corrie Ten Boom, only heaven will reveal the true worth of my time and energy to do this! Speak Truth At Thy Windows!

Specific Instructions From The Lord Jesus!

In these evil and uncertain times, it is imperative that the Body of Christ receive specific instructions from the Lord! We need His counsel daily to position us how and where He wants to use us. Our every move is critical to His mission and our assignment here.

1 Samuel 3:1, “And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.” There was no prophet in Israel, no open communication with God.  Ryrie states, “Apostasy and prophetic inactivity characterized the days of Eli.” Eli was the High Priest of Israel. He had allowed his sons to pervert the worship of God and bring the worship of Baal into the temple. Ellicott states, “Hophni and Phinehas, the grown men prostituted the holy work to their own vile worldly ends.” Eli's failure, which brought God's judgment upon his house, was the gross neglect and inability to bring his sons under control. We are accountable to God and, as such, determine our own destiny.

1 Samuel 3:10, “And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.” Young Samuel ministered unto the Lord under the direction of Eli. Samuel's job was to ensure that the lamp located just outside the veil to the Holy of Holies stayed lit. The lamp burned from evening to morning. It was during this time that Samuel encountered God. Three times God called his name, and three times Samuel went to Eli to reply, “Here I am.” The third time Eli, realizing that Samuel was hearing the voice of God, instructed him to answer, “Speak Lord for thy servant heareth.” Samuel followed Eli's instructions, and God began to inform him of what was ahead for Israel, Eli, and his sons.

Young Samuel was looking to Eli for his direction. It was only after he recognized the source of the message that he could understand the significance of the message. Life is full of disappointments, but many disappointments come because we are looking to man to do what only God can do. The ultimate source of our supply is God and God alone. Although a man may give support, counsel, encouragement, and prayer, we must guard against putting our faith and confidence solely in mortal resources. Man's ability to intervene for us is limited; therefore, we must turn to and ultimately trust in the infinite resources of Jesus Christ. He is the one, the only one, who can go with us all the way to the end of the matter. Thereby, the peace that surpasses all human understanding will accompany us until we complete this journey (Phil. 4:7). (continued) The Message, pp. 104-106, available at Amazon.com.

Come Up Higher! by Myra Boozer

Lord Jesus, push back the darkness that is coming against every child of God. Lord, please help us to delight in Your light and Your never-ending love. Set our feet on a clear path and give our minds and hearts a deep understanding of who you are, our creator and the Father of all mankind! You love like no other. You are our constant friend who will stand by us when the whole world is sound asleep. You are never far but always near. You come, and call us to come up higher, high above the sad and the gloom that tries to hide your love from us.

You call for us all to open our eyes and see all your beauty. You call us to know you by name and recognize your loving voice. You call us to hold your hand and know that you are our Protector. You pick us up and carry us when we can no longer walk on our own. You are the one who rescues us when the winds of evil blow across our path. You wipe our tears and wash our faces. You reassure us of who we are, and who YOU are, Our Loving Father. You will never leave us and never forsake us as You invite us to Come Up Higher!
