Release The Power Of God In You! Conclusion

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the path that God has chosen for us to go where He is going. In fact Jesus said in John 14:6, “…I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” Therefore the Gospel is the only path that will be blessed by God and activate the power of God.

Paul declared in Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” The original word for “ashamed” comes from a root word that means to disfigure or dishonor. I think what Paul was saying is that he would not alter his presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is the power of God for salvation and any other need we might have. If we alter the message, we alter access to the power!

Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Jesus said that He would send the Holy Ghost as a manifestation of His Power so that we could be witnesses to all the world. But witnesses of what? The Power in itself is not the witness Jesus spoke of. He said, “Witnesses unto me.” He was talking about the message of Good News which He had so freely shared with the world. He was talking about the Gospel which He had taught and modeled before men!

This Power that Jesus talked about is to empower us to share the Gospel with all the earth. The power of the Gospel delivers the sin sick soul! The power of the Gospel brings freedom to the shackled and imprisoned! The power of the Gospel heals the wounded heart! The Power of God delivers the soul, mind, and body!

Are we willing to let God do the leading? Are we willing to go with God to where He is going? There lies the key to Release The Power Of God In You! 

Truth Will Prevail! by Myra Boozer

I want to hear YOU Lord! I want to listen to Your Word and also hear Your voice! The winds are blowing up a storm and I see on the horizon a new dilemma, a time of trouble, a time of emergency for those who are not aware, for those not prepared, for those who are busy and overtaken by their own plans and desires.

What do we do? They have ears to hear, but do not hear, and eyes to see, but do not see. They are getting angry with those speaking about your Return. They are not interested in our words! They have Big Plans to stay! Sometimes I feel I am pulling back, I don't want to do that. I pray you give me Your words.

(This is the answer God gave!)

"Truth will PREVAIL...
Truth will stand STRONG, in the evil and corrupt day...
It will be VICTORIOUS...
It will SING LOUD AND STRONG...
It will TRIUMPH...
No enemy is able to stand AGAINST Truth...
The WORD is TRUTH...
The WORD is GOD...
I am the BEGINNING and the END...
I have NO other PLAN...
I will SURVIVE!
Those who want to be on the winning side must come along with the PLAN I have laid down...no other plan, No other way!
FORSAKE ALL and FOLLOW ME.
BE INSTANT IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON...
CLOTHE yourself in RIGHTEOUSNESS...
RIGHT LIVING and BELIEVING will be the TICKET for the SURVIVAL of MY BODY...
NO ONE can come to me except they come MY WAY...
I AM THE WAY...
TRUTH will PREVAIL...and the SON will shine after the STORM...
LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING, BUT LEAN ON ME, FOR I AM THE STRONG AND MIGHTY ONE...
I AM HE THAT KEEPETH ISRAEL...I DO NOT SLEEP AND I AM NOT SLACK CONCERNING MY PROMISES TO YOU AND ALL WHO LOVE ME...
SEEK ME DAILY with all of your SOUL, MIND, AND STRENGTH...
TRUST ME! STAY CLOSE AND BELIEVE THAT I AM HE WHO IS FROM THE BEGINNING...I AM MIGHTY TO RESCUE AND SAVE ALL WHO CALL ON ME…" 

Release The Power Of God In You!

Opposition to the Truth, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is becoming increasingly more intense. As the Body of Christ, we are already experiencing Satanic attacks of greater intensity. It seems as though we are preparing for all hell to break loose. Only God knows what is ahead! However, He has promised to walk with us. Jesus said that He would never leave us or forsake us, Heb. 13:5, “...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” And, we want Him to walk with us wherever we go! But, how many of us will walk with Him wherever He goes? In the former, we seek God’s blessing on the path we have chosen. In the latter, we seek God’s leading and the path He has chosen. His blessings automatically follow. Sure, we want Him to walk with us but what would our lives look like if we follow Him to where He is going?

God made a similar promise to Joshua. Joshua 1:5, “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” God’s promise to Joshua is relevant for us today and provides a powerful example to those who would follow God to where He is going.

God had created the initiative to bring His people into this land of Canaan where they could worship and follow Him without the intrusion of the customs and religions of other nations. For 40 years they had been on this journey and now it was time for them to go in. It was God’s plan for Joshua to lead them in, however, Joshua had to decide to follow God where He was going. Joshua 1:2, “Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.”

Why did it take the children of Israel 40yrs. to get to Canaan? The obvious answer is that they just were not ready. God had to teach them, grow them, and mature them. Many died on the journey! But, the core issue to all their problems was that they would not consent to let God do the leading. They would not follow God to where He was going! Their success or failure was based upon that very simple principle.

Are we so much different than they were? I submit to you today that we are not! Every need that exists among men can be addressed by the power of God’s presence. But we are forced to make the same decision that Joshua was confronted with. Are we willing to let God do the leading? Are we willing to go with God to where He is going? There lies the key to releasing the power of God in our lives! (continued) 

Lord Jesus, Be Real In Me! by Myra Boozer

Wash me clean Lord and help me to see my motives in all I say and do. May my thoughts and actions come from you and not from any legalism or idea that I may have gathered along the way. Sometimes our concept of how to get your attention may not be what you want to hear at all. It is not necessarily the one that sings the best or has the best testimony of deliverance. Those things can make us feel good in our own eyes but distract us from what you're really looking for in us.

Men watch us and judge us by what they see and hear. But You Lord, You judge our motives. Lord, it is not always in our accomplishments that we get your attention but in our weakness, in our deficiencies. It is in that time of facing defeat that we cry out for your mercy and standing all alone we become very real with YOU. We need you to be very firm with us because our days are running out and we are coming to the DAY when we will stand before you the Righteous Judge and hear you call our Name. Our deeds will be judged righteous or wicked. I want to be clean and acceptable in your eyes Lord because we cannot hide under a cloak of pretense. It will not matter what we or anyone thinks of us but what you know about us. I want to be real with you Lord...never fake or phony...but genuine and pure...Amen. Lord Jesus, Be Real In Me! 

Lord Jesus, Capture Me!

Psalm 19:14, "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."

Lord Jesus, today I ask you to capture my mind, heart, and soul. Keep me, the total me, safely in your hand. Empty this vessel of all substance except YOU. Fill me full with YOUR SPIRIT. Create fresh in me the passion, power, and deliverance of your VISION! Engage my total self to procure the desire of your heart through me. Fill this emptiness with an outflow of living water, creating a worthy vessel overflowing with your love, compassion, and generosity. Help me to feel the hurting of the precious lives that surround the place of my habitation. Flow through me to aid and comfort those who are bleeding. They are bleeding out the wonder of life because of the mortal wounds of the enemy. Help me to stop the bleeding that is draining them of the very life you give. Anoint me to bring the good tidings of YOUR Gospel to a broken world.

Oh! That your Holy Spirit in me would bind up the brokenhearted, those whose hearts have been shattered by the deceitful, insidious enemy of their soul. Lord, set at liberty those held captive, held captive by their past. Release them today from their broken dreams and failed plans. Cause them to look to YOU for their total deliverance and life in YOU. In the Name of Jesus, set them free! Break the chains and open the prisons for those who are bound. May the Holy Ghost invade the dominions of Satan with such power that the chains will disintegrate at His mere presence. May the presence of Almighty God be so powerful that the prison doors be hurled from their hinges and these eternal souls be forever set free.

Lord Jesus Christ, I pray this day for your anointing to fall heavy upon the Body of Christ, that we walk as you walked, talk as you talked, and BE as YOU ARE the LIVING BREATH OF LIFE in an otherwise lifeless world. Lord, anoint us with the message of YOUR GOSPEL that all who will hear will accept YOUR LIFE and have that LIFE most ABUNDANT. Praise to our LIVING CHRIST, in JESUS' NAME! Lord Jesus, Capture Me! 

Paths Of Righteousness! by Myra Boozer

Psalm 23:3, “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.”

Lord, lead your people in the paths of Righteousness and we will always be right where you want us.

You open doors and you shut doors and for that we are grateful. You know the way in which we should go and we do not. Lord, we have never been this way before. We must trust YOU.

Some days our hearts are so grieved because of the evil that is running rampant. Our hearts break for the people who suffer and for those who are engulfed with sin and cause such horrible acts.

There is one thing we do know, to exalt your NAME, to lift YOU up, to Praise and Glorify YOU in the SANCTUARY. "Lord prepare me to be a sanctuary, pure and holy, tried and true, with thanksgiving, I'll be a living sanctuary for you."

Lord, I pray that I may follow your Spirit as you continue to open the right doors at the right time. I pray that I continue to be led by Your Spirit to follow Your voice and be ready to meet You in the air on that Glorious Day when you call your Bride to come up to where you are. What a Day that will be!

Lord, Your Paths of Righteousness will lead us HOME! That is where I long to be! 

A Life Nourished By The Word Of Truth!

Timothy’s primary task at Ephesus was to put a stop to false teaching and replace it with the Truth. He was to teach the Truth and prepare others to teach it. He was also to set the example by being a follower of the Truth which he taught.

1 Timothy 4:6, “If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.” These things may include not only what we read in chapter 4 but also the other things covered in the entire letter. In sharing the teachings of the Lord, Timothy would also benefit from being nourished by the Word of Truth.

Paul calls for a life of godliness which is a reverent, worshipful, obedient attitude toward God. Such an attitude leads to right living. 1 Timothy 4:7, “But refuse profane and old wives fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. 8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” An authentic teacher of Truth will fulfill that role by verbal expression and a living example. Jesus became our example in word and deed. We should acquaint ourselves with His Word in such a way as to know the Truth and recognize deceptive teaching.

Many have been led astray because of their failure to recognize untruth. They have been deceived and have followed on to deceive many others having their conscience seared, unwilling to follow God’s leading. 2 Thessalonians 2:8, “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.“
