The Lord Is Our Salvation!

Psalm 18:2, “The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.”

Jesus Christ prepares the table before us in the presence of the enemy. We shall eat and drink from His table and prevail before our enemy. Jesus is our strength and our victory. He leads us beside the still waters and restores our souls. He is our source, our strength, our redeemer, and in Him we can trust today and every day as Christ Jesus, our Lord. Thank you, God, for the assurance that only you can give!

The Lord is our Salvation! He established His position in Gethsemane. He came to die, but all flesh is appointed to death. But in Gethsemane, Jesus submitted to death. He chose to die as the Son of man to prove that He is the Son of God. The fleshly man would die, but the Spirit man would live on.

That is what happens when we meet Jesus at the cross. We submit to death. We choose death to the fleshly man so the Spirit man can live on. But we must go through our Gethsemane to get there. We must come to the end of ourselves and allow Christ to take charge of our lives. We are literally consenting to the death of the flesh so that we can experience life in the Spirit through Christ. Gal. 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Jesus is, “...my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” The Lord Is Our Salvation!

John 1:16-17, "And of His fullness have all we received, and grace for grace, For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."

Thank you, God, for sending your Son, Jesus. Thank you...things have changed. We no longer struggle to conform to the law. Because of Jesus, we have been covered by Grace, and He has written His laws in our hearts that we might not sin against HIM. Lord God, your ways and your truths are so strong and mighty and worth seeking.

My mind and my heart have a hard time understanding your willingness to send your Son to die for us. I am humbled when I think of Jesus' willingness to suffer such humiliation, shame, and torture that resulted in death on the old rugged cross. Not for one, but for all who would kneel at that cross in repentance of their sins.

Every day, I can come to your Banquet of Grace. Love, Forgiveness, and Healing are all provided and so much more. When I come humbly before you, I receive all your provisions. It is only through my Faith in You that I eat from the TABLE you have so graciously set before me. Lord, I pray for greater Faith and a stronger desire to push through every distraction that keeps me from your table.

Thank you for this "grace upon grace." It flows down from the Father of Light. It is shining in the darkness, but many are not willing or accepting. They are not comprehending it. "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth NOT is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. For this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men LOVED darkness rather than light, because their deeds were EVIL." John 3:18-19

The Word says in John 3:15, "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life." So glad that "whosoever" included me! Grace For Grace! 

Lord Jesus, Capture Me!

Psalm 19:14, "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."

Lord Jesus, today I ask that you capture my mind, my heart, and my soul. Keep me, the total me, safely in your hand. Empty this vessel of all substance except YOU. Fill me full with YOUR SPIRIT. Create fresh in me the passion, power, and deliverance of your VISION! Engage my total self to procure the desire of your heart through me. Fill this emptiness with an outflow of living water, creating a worthy vessel overflowing with your love, compassion, and generosity. Help me to feel the hurt of the precious lives that surround the place of my habitation. Flow through me to aid and comfort those who are bleeding. They are bleeding out the wonder of life because of the mortal wounds of the enemy. Help me to stop the bleeding that is draining them of the very life you give. Anoint me to bring the good tidings of YOUR Gospel to a broken world.

Oh! That your Holy Spirit in me would bind up the broken-hearted, those whose hearts have been shattered by the deceitful, insidious enemy of their soul. Lord, set at liberty those held captive, held captive by their past. Release them today from their broken dreams and failed plans. Cause them to look to YOU for their total deliverance and life in YOU. In the Name of Jesus, set them free! Break the chains and open the prisons for them that are bound. May the Holy Ghost invade the dominions of Satan with such power that the chains will disintegrate at His mere presence. May the presence of Almighty God be so powerful that the prison doors be hurled from their hinges and these eternal souls be forever set free.

Lord Jesus Christ, I pray this day for your anointing to fall heavily upon the Body of Christ, that we walk as you walked, talk as you talked, and BE as YOU ARE the LIVING BREATH OF LIFE in an otherwise lifeless world. Lord, anoint us with the message of YOUR GOSPEL that all who will hear will accept YOUR LIFE and have that LIFE most ABUNDANT. Praise to our LIVING CHRIST, in JESUS' NAME! Lord Jesus, Capture Me!

Lord, would You please come and sit among us?

We long for more of You and Your Righteousness.

Rain down upon us Your loving kindness,

For we stand today at your mercy.

We need Your message of Truth and Grace.

Bring to us Your revelation of the New Day Dawning,

The Day of Your soon appearing, when You step out on the clouds to call us Home.

Open our eyes to a greater understanding of what it actually means to be Your People, a Chosen People, and a Royal Priesthood.

May we be ready when You descend from heaven with a shout, and with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God calling us to come up to where You are.

Lord, our hearts are open to Your Spirit, and we long to be in Your presence. Please come and sit among us, refresh us, revive us, renew us, and restore us to our first love. You are coming for Your Bride, the one You Love and the one who loves YOU...Come And Sit Among Us! 

A Life Nourished By The Word Of Truth!

1 Timothy 4:6, “If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ…”

Timothy’s primary task at Ephesus was to put a stop to false teaching and replace it with the Truth. He was to teach the Truth and prepare others to teach it. He was also to set the example by being a follower of the Truth, which he taught.

1 Timothy 4:6, “If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.” These things may include not only what we read in chapter 4, but also the other things covered in the entire letter. In sharing the teachings of the Lord, Timothy would also benefit from being nourished by the Word of Truth.

Paul calls for a life of godliness, which is a reverent, worshipful, obedient attitude toward God. Such an attitude leads to right living. 1 Timothy 4:7, “But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. 8For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” An authentic teacher of Truth will fulfill that role by verbal expression and a living example. Jesus became our example in word and deed. We should acquaint ourselves with His Word in such a way as to know the Truth and recognize deceptive teaching.

Many have been led astray because they failed to recognize untruth. They have been deceived and have followed on to deceive many others having their conscience seared, unwilling to follow God’s leading. 2 Thessalonians 2:8, “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.“ 

Holy Father, Cover Me! by Myra Boozer

There is a covering sent down from the Father Above. That covering is the Presence of the Holy Spirit. He will hover over the Righteous and fill every void. He will filter out the world and the stench of sin and corruption. He will dispense the "sweet smell" of Holiness upon the people of God, bringing love, joy, and peace upon the Believer.

He cannot be bought or purchased in any store. Nor can we wrap Him and give Him as a gift. He comes from the Father, the one who sets people free, free from sin and condemnation. He is the all-powerful work of God that Jesus promised to those who seek NOT the "Things" of this world but seek the HEART of God and all that He has for us.

His presence is priceless, far above rubies or treasures of this world, far above pleasures or longings of the flesh. He is not only a covering but an infilling of God's presence that will captivate you and your desires. What we need is to be covered in His Presence, the Greatest Gift we could ever receive. 2 Cor. 9:15, “Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.” Holy Father Cover Me! 

Lord Jesus, Open The Eyes Of Our Hearts!

Lord Jesus, I pray that you make us a blank slate today. That you begin anew to create the persons you want us to be. Remove from us the pride of accomplishments and successes of yesterday. Today is a new day, a new beginning, to fulfill and display Divine tasks fresh from the mind and heart of God.

Lord, remove from us the crushing weight of past failures and inadequacies. Help us to throw off the suffocating thoughts that paralyze our forward movement and hinder us from fulfilling your perfect work in us. Help us to be friend, neighbor, companion, servant, pastor, preacher, prophet, intercessor, deliverer. Help us to be faithful, loving, compassionate, gracious, holy, victorious, strong, reverent, thankful, supportive, consistent, anchored, resilient, humble, submissive, trusting, and obedient. And tomorrow, we will start all over again to make each day a new day in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!

John 9:10, “Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened? 11He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.” Open The Eyes Of Our Hearts, Lord!
