Breath Of Heaven Breathe On Us!

It was a hot summer morning in mid-August in the South. You could say that it was a typical day for the season, high humidity with little to no wind. I went about my business without really giving attention to these details, but that was about to change.

I stood in quiet solitude and listened to the tree leaves as they began to respond to a slight breeze. It was as though they were individual instruments in a grand symphony, the pitch and tempo rising and falling but in perfect harmony, each separate but still in sync.

The wind was slight at first, barely noticeable except for the song the leaves sang. I began to feel the cool wind as it caressed my face and hair. The sensation grew in intensity! The wind blew stronger and then subsided. It came in pulsating bursts, strong enough to take the hat from my head, and then at rest.

I observed and felt this scenario repeated for several moments. And then, a voice spoke into my spirit, “a rushing mighty wind.” Yes, Lord, I know it is You, and I hear what You are saying! Our Lord, Jesus Christ, wants to reveal Himself through the Holy Spirit to change our world. His desire is to fill you and me with the Holy Spirit, endue us with power (His Power) from on high, and turn our world upside down. He wants the world to see and acknowledge His presence in us. The Healing Of Our Nation! by Myra Boozer

Tragedy brings people together. It also brings people to the place of feeling helpless, needing someone to care. When broken, people become open to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE. Wouldn't it be wonderful if our churches would join hand in hand, praying for the HURTING and praying for the SALVATION of this WORLD?

Churches are so divided by Doctrine and Traditions. They hardly communicate with each other...SAD...JESUS died for ALL and loves us all. We need to UNITE in HIM! He is our "Common Ground." Instead of looking at all the differences, we need to stand together in the UNITY of THE CROSS of JESUS CHRIST. SATAN IS PLEASED when we are divided. GOD IS NOT!

Lord, please help us (the Church) to reach out to each other...to ALL who believe in YOU...those who have the same HEART CRY...those who LOVE YOU and desire to walk in YOUR WAYS...those who feel the pain and suffering of the broken and destitute. BRING US TOGETHER IN LOVE FOR YOU and ALL THOSE WHO NEED YOU.

Please help me pray for this to begin in all areas of our world. There is strength in numbers and strength in people visually seeing that the CHURCH CARES.

It doesn't take much to show you CARE. But it can make a world of difference to the person hurting. LET'S DO THIS! Pray and ask God to direct you in joining with OTHERS for a great purpose...THE HEALING OF OUR NATION! 

It Is Time!!!

Many voices in the Church are calling the Body of Christ to Prayer. Today, we stand at the door of one of the greatest times in human history. We dare not move forward without a full understanding of the gravity of our response to the call of God and the effect of that response upon ourselves and all that our lives might touch. Our future will be defined by what we do in this moment of our choice.

Many have already been praying! Those prayers have brought us to where we are now. But we can't stop the prayer meetings. After 9/11, we had an opportunity to seek God and turn this nation around. But the praying didn't last. After only a few weeks, we drifted back to business as usual. We cannot afford to take for granted the opportunity God is giving us. This is our last chance as a nation. Pray, Church! Pray like our lives depend on it. Because they do!

Can we pray? Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, we do here and now accept your challenge to pray in travailing prayer for our world that is lost and broken. We desire the Spirit of prayer to intercede. Open our spiritual eyes and ears so we can see and hear the cries of the lost, the beaten, the debilitated.  Teach us to understand what they are facing. Guide us to see and hear them as you do. Give us the compassion and love that you have for them so that we are inspired to join in their redemption. Lift us up in the power of Your Word, being fully dressed in faith to lead the captives free. Anoint us with your power that we may speak to the mountains before us and they will be moved into the sea. Let us see the prison doors spring open at the mighty thrust of Your Presence. Help us to run into the battle with such passion that others are seized with the same fervor. I can hear the sound of mighty armies engaged on the battlefield. Can we pray? It Is Time!

Sorrows may last for the night

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Sickness may seem to have its way

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Heartaches may swell, and your heart may bleed

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Friends may withhold their love from you

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Troubles may pound upon your door

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Your pantry may be empty, and the rent may be due

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

The family you have counted on, all your life, may all be gone

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Your finances may dwindle and finally run out

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

The night may be long and weary no doubt

But Joy is coming in the Morning!

Psalms 30:5, "...weeping may endure through the night, but joy comes with the morning."

Remember, faith grows in darkness. He is Coming. Don't give up, but hold to His promise! Joy Is Coming In The Morning!

Call Unto The Lord And He Will Answer You!

Psalm 3:3, “But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. 4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. 5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.”

We need to be ready to leave where God is not and go to where God is! It is always important to know where we are and where God is. Where are we in relation to where God desires us to be? We need to press in and press through the opposition of the enemy into the good that God has for us and all that we may influence. We must Call Unto The Lord!

Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” God has “good” planned for those who will answer His call and follow Him in faith. He has a secured end or divine heritage. We need not question our finish if only we will heed the voice of God. He knows where He is going, and He goes before us, leading the way. John 10:4, “And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.” We must determine if we are going to follow Christ whatever the cost! We must Call Unto The Lord!

Jeremiah 29:12, “Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.” Oh, to Call Unto The Lord our God, to seek His face and hear and see His answers! He promises to hear and respond (hearken). Our challenge is to clearly perceive His response. The Spirit of God is pushing back against the darkness that permeates this sinful world. God is calling His warriors to come alongside Him, join in the battle, and share His victory. He is calling us to our knees to intercede for a lost and dying world. Will you Call Unto The Lord?

Jeremiah 29:13, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” God is always available, “...ye shall seek me, and find me...” He is always with us. But we must have a sense of His presence to recognize His voice and to understand what he is doing or planning to do. God's promise is that we will find Him when we search for Him with all our hearts.

The human condition requires the intervention of our creator. We always need God's assistance. The question is, “Do we really want his help?” Are we willing to relinquish complete control of our lives to Him? He knows the way we take (the path we should follow) and will direct our steps accordingly.

God has a plan for us, a plan for good and not evil. He has an expected (secured) finish for His faithful, obedient children. Lord, help us to search for you with all our hearts. Help us to walk in your manifest presence and to seek you with all our hearts! Amen. He compassionately entreats, pleads for us to Call Unto The Lord!

The road may seem long and winding as you set out on your day.

You may have faced adversity or danger along the way.

Troubles and trials may have arisen, obscuring your light of day.

But don't give up...for Rest is on His way.

Rest is not elusive, for He is here to stay.

He comes in time to reveal and heal.

He comes from God the Father...the Trusting, Faithful One.

He understands your heartache and captures all your tears.

So put your hand in His hand and steady your pace,

Tomorrow you may lay your eyes on His Heavenly Face… 

Yield To The Master's Direction!

A gentle wind blows across the grassy lowland today. The tall blades of grass sway back and forth as the wind caresses each one. It is as though each individual stem is engaged in a perpetual dance with the Creator. First this way and that way, around and around, up and down. It is such a beautiful scene to observe, but how wonderful it would be to participate.

And, we do participate! We are engaged with our Creator in this beautiful production we call life. The orchestra plays, and we move to the music much like the wind blowing upon the grassy field. The wind of life influences each and every movement, first this way and then that way, around and around, up and down.

God is the Grand Conductor of this beautiful experience. He is in control of it all. However, each participant must yield to the Master’s direction and respond to each command. Then, we become part of the Master’s grand presentation, every movement synchronized and every note in perfect harmony. Oh, what a glorious sight to behold and exquisite sound to hear, each note and each movement drawing closer and closer to the crescendo and finale. Up, up, up, our spirit rises! Higher than ever before and then...we see the face of God!

What will you do with your opportunity to engage in the Master’s grand production? Are you faithfully rehearsing and preparing for the final performance? Or, have you been slack in your duty and commitment? Maybe even cast aside your instrument, and it lies motionless and useless, gathering dust in a corner somewhere?

You cannot proceed without the Master’s directions! Though you may have been absent, distracted, or focused on other things, the Master still holds your place. He always has a vacant chair for you; no auditions, no competition - just come to Him. He loves you! He will counsel, guide, and support you. He will prepare you for the final performance. Follow Him and you will be ready for the Finale! Just Yield To The Master’s Direction!
