Where Could We Go?

John 6:63, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him...66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.”

I begin each day with the purpose of fulfilling God’s will and executing His commission here. I am empty except for what God puts in me. There are no words except that God should speak and give them. There is no song unless He composes and sings the melody. Where can we go except to go to God? He is the one who gives purpose to our living! We are an empty hollow shell without His influence in every aspect of our lives.

Where Could We Go? Jesus is the one with the words of eternal life! Listen intently for His voice and follow Him to where He is leading! Where else Could We Go? Only Jesus has the words of eternal life!

Your Resurrection Power! by Myra Boozer

Lord, I must know you in the Power of Your Resurrection.

Not in the eyes of men, but in the eyes of

the Great I Am.

It is not in who I say I am or even in who I think I am,

Nor is it in the people I think I know.

It is not in the words I write or any good thing I might say.

It is all in you Lord and who you are!

You, Lord, are the heartbeat of everything.

You are the source and strength of my life.

You are the bread upon my table.

You are my rest when I lie down.

You are the fire that brings me warmth,

And the breeze that cools my brow.

You are my healer, my faithful sustainer,

My teacher and my inspiration.

You are the Light that directs my path.

Lord, you are the wheel that keeps on steering.

You are the wind that blows upon my sails.

You are the anchor when my ship is tossing.

Lord, You are my Everything...

These things I feel I need and you have provided

But most of all...

I need Your RESURRECTION POWER...

I must have YOUR power...

Power to arise on That Resurrection Day...

Whether in the ground...

Or up walking around...

Lord fill me with Your Resurrection Power. Philippians 3:10 "That I may know him and
the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;"

In The Power Of His Presence!

Psalm 16:11, “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

Lord Jesus, thank you for allowing us to share in the glory of your presence. The freedom, the peace, and the absolutely marvelous deliverance is a testimony of your desire to reveal yourself to your people. It is good to dwell together in unity as one in you and through you.

Thank you, Lord, for bringing us into the outer court (the court of praise), into the inner court (the court of ministry) and the Holy of Holies. In the Holy Place, we come face to face with YOU and experience your person as Almighty God, Lord God Jehovah, our Creator, our constant Support and Shield, our Deliverer, our Counselor, our Redeemer, our Savior, our Lord, and our God. It is there that we receive access to all we need and require for this present journey. Lord, your strength is our present help in time of need. The shield of YOUR covenant is our defense from the tormenting darts of the enemy. Truly, You are the source of our victory.

Holy Spirit, thank you for giving us a WORD from God. A WORD that is spiritually embraced and conscientiously invested. Lord Jesus, help us to let go of all things around us and every substance within us that would impede our success in YOUR cause. We do here and now accept YOUR promise of an expected end by faith. We fall helplessly into your embrace and look to you for the strength and grace to complete YOUR assignment. We open our hearts, minds and souls to YOU and without reservation do purpose to receive all that you desire to invest in us. Prepare us O Lord and fill us with The Power Of Your Presence! Amen

The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness! by Myra Boozer

I love the mornings when I open my blinds and the sun comes pouring in. It just makes my day and I rejoice in the warmth of God's love for all mankind. It is not only warm it is beautiful and makes all things beautiful. Sometimes the clutter in my room doesn't look so challenging. This prayer came to me this morning for our world...

Lord may we open the blinds of our heart and allow you to SHINE in our world. Darkness has hovered for a night and the cries for help are getting louder. The lonely, the sick, the forsaken and forgotten cry out against the pit that has them bound. The prisoners held by sin cry out for freedom...Freedom to be forgiven, loved and restored!

Who will open the blinds Lord and reveal the rays of Hope, the Light of Jesus that dispels the darkness? Who will ARISE and open the blinds, the shield that covers our windows? Lord, we are given opportunity NOW in this season to be that person to allow YOUR LIGHT to come forth. It will come with a sudden burst of great force when we allow your Spirit to direct and strengthen us. I know only the strong will do this. Help us to be STRONG IN THE POWER OF YOUR MIGHT as we ARISE like a Warrior with the Helmet of Salvation, the Shield of Faith, and the Sword of the Spirit.

Help us Lord to equip ourselves with your Armor for the challenge before us...Our world is in great need of your LIGHT, the Light that dispels all darkness. Help us to be your hands reaching the lost and your feet to carry the "GOOD NEWS”...our mouth to speak Your Word which is Truth...that it will set the captive free, heal the sick and bind up the brokenhearted...Lord Jesus help us, your Children to Arise at your command...Amen! The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness!

The Light Of Your Presence!

Lord Jesus, thank you for the dawn of a new day. Now, it is time to turn to the task a hand. What do you have for your children today? What do you have that we should share with others? Lord, fill us with your WORD so that the overflow is charged with redemption and deliverance. Oh! Come Holy Spirit of God and inhabit every thought, word, and activity. Sanctify us afresh and the place of our habitation. Purge from the very air around us the darkness that infiltrates our world and replace it with the light of YOUR PRESENCE. We feel the intensity of the battle. The Holy Spirit within continues to struggle with the arm of the flesh, for he is ever present. Lord Jesus Christ, help us to die once again that YOU may bring LIFE and more abundantly. Help us to say with Paul the apostle that it is not me that possesses this mortal body but it is YOU that lives here.

Your reign in our life will affect the world around us for YOUR PURPOSE. We invite you to rule the environment around us. “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Come, Lord, take control, lead us to the completion of our assignment here. We must share YOUR message with all men. All must have the privilege to escape the darkness. Send forth YOUR light through the WORD of your mouth, penetrate and dispel the gross darkness that has invaded our land. Release YOUR Holy Spirit fire to burn away the obstructions that hold fast the lost souls of men. Set the Body of Christ ablaze that we burn so intensely that conviction and repentance are the results. May the light of your glory be reflected in our faces, in our walk, and in our message. All to the HONOR and PURPOSE of God. Even so come Lord Jesus! Amen

One Thing Have I Desired Of The Lord! by Myra Boozer

David said in Psalm 27:4, "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple."

What are we seeking today? What are we looking for? Matthew 7:7, “...seek, and ye shall find...” David wasn't talking about staying in the temple every day but he was talking about dwelling in His presence “all the days.” Psalm 27:5 says, “For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret of His tabernacle shall he hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock." We find divine refuge in Psalm 31:20, and a hiding place...a place of safety, yes in the time of trouble. He goes on to Psalm 27:8, “When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.” So, many times we seek His hand, which is his provision, but He told David, “seek my face,”...His person...who He is. When we truly seek Him, we live in His house, His pavilion, His tabernacle, His presence. When we dwell there we are set upon a rock...a firm foundation. The very best thing we can seek is the face of the Lord. Oh! to know Him...to really know Him...to cherish him like we cherish nothing else.

In a very personal way, when you love someone you want to share life with them. You don't just visit them on Sunday. They become part of your everyday life. The Lord doesn't want us out on the porch. He wants us to come on in and dwell (live) with Him!

Our Faith In God Remains Steadfast!

2 Chronicles 20:20, “And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. 21And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. 22And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. 23For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.”

The enemies of Judah rose up against her. Through prayer and supplication, King Jehoshaphat and the people petitioned God for His intervention. They placed their faith in God and He came to their aid ensuring them that “the battle is the Lord’s.” What they needed to do was follow His instructions. Their faith remained steadfast in the Lord God Jehovah and He delivered them without a single skirmish. The enemy destroyed themselves!

The future is uncertain but our faith in God is steadfast! Time is passing swiftly as all of creation is marching quickly into eternity and God’s judgment. What lies before us only our heavenly Father knows. God knows where He is going and where He wants to lead us. He knows what He desires to happen in our world today. Paul exhorted the Church to pray for all men everywhere that they might lead a peaceable life in godliness and honesty. God’s desire is for all men to be saved. 1Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” Our Faith In God Remains Steadfast!
