I Will Declare The Glory Of God! Conclusion

1 Chronicles 16:31, “Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.”

Thanks be to God who gives us the victory because He reigns Sovereign over all Creation. “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord,” 1Cor. 15:57-58. 

There has no trial been given to man that the power of His Love and Grace cannot vanquish. We stand in the power of His Love. His Love for all mankind set Him on the cross. His Love for us brought Him forth from the grave and raised Him Victorious over death and hell. By His Grace, He extends to us the gift of His Resurrection. Believe on Him, accept His promise and receive eternal live.

1 Cor. 15:50, “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” 

We can embrace the power of His Resurrection and receive His Promise by His example and proceed with full assurance that when He comes, “the dead in Christ shall rise first...then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1Thess. 4:16-17.

God will have the last word. He will determine the way all this ends. We can know what our end will be. The Word of God has already declared the Victory and Glory of God! All Creation is declaring the Sovereignty and Majesty of God! All power and authority rests in His Hand! The future of the Believer is secure in His Hand! I Will Declare The Glory Of God!!!

Surrender is hard for most of us. We have all the answers and we don't want to give in to anyone. But, it would be nice to be swept off our feet and held in the arms of God for a time of refreshing, a time of laughter, a time of release from this ole world and all its cares. The road seems long and tiring some days and our cares become attached as though they are determined to stay and drag us down...way down.

But, as we listen to the voice calling in the distance, "Come to me my child and I will carry you, I will give you rest." It becomes a silver lined invitation on the best stationery you could ever envision. An invitation to lay down all that is bothering you, all that has crept up on you when you were just going about your normal routine of life...

He is calling and He is waiting with arms open wide. So, what is stopping you? Go ahead, surrender to His voice, yield to His call. “Let God have you and Let God love you and don't be surprised if your heart begins to hear music you have never heard before."

I pray you surrender, laying every burden down at His feet, allowing Him to lift you above all the cares that so easily beset you. Allow Him to sweep you off your feet and dance. Yes, I hope you dance... 

"Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing..." Psalm 30:11.

All For The Glory Of God! by Myra Boozer

Just as the worship music swelled and the sun spread its crystal clear light through the trees, I raised my hands in glorious worship and the LORD TOUCHED ME. Thank you, Jesus! He really touched me!! I proclaim He touched me! Thank you, Jesus!

I had told the Lord during the early morning hours, "I have gone my limit, I can't deal with this pain!" I must have you Jesus because I don't know what to do! This was on a Thursday morning. I was instantly touched! The pain left and I slept like a baby Thursday night with no pain! But, Saturday 3 am I began to get restless and not sleeping, couldn't get comfortable. The pain started to give me misery every way I turned, so I was up fairly early and I put my worship music on and this is what I saw again. With my hands lifted high, I began to praise God and declare my healing, as I watched the Sun break forth into my room and most importantly into my heart. This gave me so much hope...that I never walk alone...that He is always near and He listens when I call.

Sometime Saturday night before I was awakened at 3 am, I had a short dream...and I believe it applies to my healing. I will say before I start...I HATE SNAKES...just so you know. In this dream, I had a small baby snake in my hands. It was very cold and I wanted to warm it up (what???). So, I placed it on my chest next to my skin...and tried to warm it. The next thing I remember, it clamped down on my left forefinger and would not let go. I was not in pain or afraid, but I saw the snake in a different light and I wanted it OFF my finger. It took a while but it finally came off. That is all I remember. 

This is the meaning I received...sometimes pain wants to come back and reside in our body...it comes as small pain...not like it was before (vicious) but you know, it is the same pain...you began to reason with it and think, oh I can take a Tylenol with thoughts of, "I may continue to have a little pain," and before you know it... that pain has latched back on with vengeance...not willing to let go. I must see the enemy as the enemy and recognize him for who he is. “Never give up and never give in to your enemy,” is a great rule!

I got up with a determination to seek the Lord at my window again and raise my hands in worship to the ONE who Heals. I have made it good all day. "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me," Philippians 4:13 KJV. 

I have continued to open my blinds and raise my hands to give God the glory. I praise Him in my battle with pain. I am not willing to give up! I press on and I will continue to claim my healing in the LIGHT of His pure redemption! Thanks be unto God who gives us the VICTORY!!! Today I have Victory in Jesus because I trust Him to help me every day that I live. No, I haven't been pain-free all the time but neither have I given up. I will continue to call on the Lord and keep trusting in Him! I am determined to not lean on my own understanding because when I do, I am helpless. I live in the power of His might and continue to spread His good news because He strengthens me! All for the Glory of God!

I Will Declare The Glory Of God!

Psalm 19:1, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. 2Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. 7The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 8The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. 10More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.”

The heavens declare the glory of God. All nature proclaims the majesty of His Sovereignty. The mere combination of the elements of the universe attests to the magnificence of our Creator. Oh, that we had a thousand tongues to proclaim His majesty and glory to all generations. I will shout unto the Lord! I will call unto Him who is able to deliver from all the best-laid plans of the enemy. I will call unto Him from the mountain tops. I will call unto Him from the valley below. He will always hear my cry! He will always answer me!

Psalm 27:1, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. 4One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. 5For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. 6And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.” 

I will not be consumed by the darkness of this world. God is the light of my salvation. He will lead me to that rock that is higher than I. His strength, His power, His Love and His Grace are a shelter in a time of the storm. The forces of darkness must bow low to the Sovereign Light of Glory. His light dispels all darkness. Walk in His Light and the darkness dissipates at the sheer magnitude of His Glory. Walk in His Light as all evil will bow before His Throne. All Creation must declare the Glory of God and that includes You and Me! (continued)

One Thing Have I Desired Of The Lord! by Myra Boozer

David said in Psalm 27:4, "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple."

What are we seeking today? What are we looking for? Matthew 7:7, “...seek, and ye shall find...” David wasn't talking about staying in the temple every day but he was talking about dwelling in His presence “all the days.” Psalm 27:5 says, “For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret of His tabernacle shall he hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock." We find Divine refuge in Psalm 31:20, and a hiding place...a place of safety, yes in the time of trouble. He goes on to Psalm 27:8, “When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.” So, many times we seek His hand, which is his provision, but He told David, “seek my face,”...His person...who He is. When we truly seek Him, we live in His house, His pavilion, His tabernacle, His presence. When we dwell there we are set upon a rock...a firm foundation. The very best thing we can seek is the face of the Lord. Oh! to know Him...to really know Him...to cherish him like we cherish nothing else. 

In a very personal way, when you love someone you want to share life with them. You don't just visit them on Sunday. They become part of your everyday life. The Lord doesn't want us out on the porch. He wants us to come on in and dwell (live) with Him!

If He Asks For Bread? Conclusion

Jesus is our Beginning and He will be our End. He is our Sustainer of Life. He is our Provider and constant Companion. Though we pass through this intense darkness, He is our Light and our Salvation. We may not know the next step to take but He is our Guide and will give us perfect Peace in the turmoil. He will speak to this storm and declare “PEACE BE STILL” to all who will put their trust in Him. He restores the strength of the soul and causes us to rise up on wings as an eagle. He makes us soar high above the conflict in this world, separated from the darkness and the struggle. His Light dispels the darkness! The struggle or battle is the Lord’s! Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

He will keep us in the hollow of His hand and nothing can pluck us from His saving grace. That is the power of His abiding presence. Power to push back against the evil and darkness that has captured the innocence of life and destroyed so many precious souls. The power of His presence in us enables us to declare in the Name of Jesus, “YOU SHALL PROCEED NO FURTHER.” There is power in the Name of Jesus over all that comes against us. As He abides in us and we in Him, He will vanquish every foe and make us to triumph over every evil plan of the enemy. Oh! Victory in Jesus! He is our Savior forever! He will keep us in perfect peace as our focus is on Him! That Peace is our total Freedom Forever! Amen! 

John 6:33, “For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world...35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger;” If they ask for bread, will you give them a stone? Give them the Bread which you have received from God, the Bread of God which comes down from heaven, and gives Life unto the world. Give them Jesus! He is the Bread of Life!

The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness! by Myra Boozer

I love the mornings when I open my blinds and the sun comes pouring in. It just makes my day and I rejoice in the warmth of God's love to all mankind. It is not only warm it is beautiful and makes all things beautiful. Sometimes the clutter in my room doesn't look so challenging.

“Lord may we open the blinds of our heart and allow you to SHINE in our world. Darkness has hovered for a night and the cries for help are getting louder. The lonely, the sick, the forsaken and forgotten cry out against the pit that has them bound. The prisoners held by sin cry out for freedom...Freedom to be forgiven, loved and restored!

Who will open the blinds Lord and reveal the rays of Hope, the Light of Jesus that dispels the darkness? Who will ARISE and open the blinds, the shield that covers our windows? Lord, we are given opportunity NOW in this season to be that person to allow YOUR LIGHT to come forth. It will come with a sudden burst of great force when we allow Your Spirit to direct and strengthen us. I know only the strong will do this. Help us to be STRONG IN THE POWER OF YOUR MIGHT as we ARISE like a Warrior with the Helmet of Salvation, the Shield of Faith, and the Sword of the Spirit. 

Help us Lord to equip ourselves with your Armor for the challenge before us...Our world is in great need of your LIGHT, the Light that dispels all darkness. Help us to be your hands reaching the lost and your feet to carry the "GOOD NEWS”...our mouth to speak Your Word which is Truth...that it will set the captive free, heal the sick and bind up the brokenhearted...Lord Jesus help us, your Children to Arise at your command...Amen!” The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness!

If He Asks For Bread?

Luke 11:11, “If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone?...”

As Christians, what do we have to give to a desperate and pain-ridden world? What do we have to offer the starving, the lost, the dying humanity all around us? Can we observe the horrific battle that takes place in our presence each and every day? Do we see the joyless faces among us, the empty stares, the emptiness of soul?

Where has their light gone? Proverbs 15:30, “The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.” The condition of the heart and soul shines through the eyes but may not be evident to the casual observer. Can we be more than a casual observer or will we continue with business as usual? Can we see precious souls in the conflict of their lives and be an instrument for their Divine encounter? True ministry, Holy Spirit ministry will always include a Divine encounter otherwise it is only an expression of religious habit! 

Jesus said in John 6:32, “Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. 34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. 35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” The spiritually emaciated world is in need of the Living Bread! What then shall we do? We will give them the true Bread of Life. We will give them Jesus! (continued)

Seek Ye First The Kingdom Of God! by Myra Boozer

Matt. 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

If you have been listening to the prosperity preaching, you may feel disappointed because your thousand dollar check didn't come in the mail last week. I am not looking for pie to fall from the sky for my family when it comes to our personal needs and wants. But I am expecting to receive just the right amount at the right time. God has promised us that He would never leave us nor forsake us. That, my friend, is what it is all about.

I'm reminded of an old song, “I never promised you a Rose Garden.” Too many people are looking for the Abundant Life to bring them much pleasure and prosperity. That is not the Abundant Life the Word tells us about. These things can become a ball and chain to distract, divert, and confuse you about Your Divine Purpose that God has for you alone. That is His main concern for us, “OUR PURPOSE IN HIM.”

But Myra, are you saying to desire NOTHING? NO, I am saying SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND THESE THINGS WILL BE ADDED UNTO YOU. Do you mean I can start looking for my "thousand dollar" check in the mail? No, but you can start looking for your ALL your needs to be met according to His riches in Glory. 

When everything looks barren and dead, God has prepared just what you need to sustain you and take you to your final destination, HIS HOME IN HEAVEN. Heaven will be more than we could ever dream or imagine, but that is not the reason I want to go there. I want to forever be in the presence of the Lord! There is where our soul will find rest. (see Psalm 23) Seek Ye First The Kingdom Of God!

Power In The Holy Ghost! Conclusion

The power for us to invade Satan’s domain lies in the Holy Ghost! As Spirit-filled believers we stand in the power and authority of God. Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you...” The word “power” in Greek is “dunamis” and is defined as strength, power, ability, inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature. The power Jesus promised is the inherent power of the Holy Ghost. His very nature is power.

By the power (dunamis-ability/can) of the Holy Spirit (pneuma-breath of God), we are empowered to complete the ministry of Jesus Christ. Acts 2:2, “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” With the power and might of a great wind, the Holy Spirit filled the house. By the power of Almighty God the door of Satan's prison springs open and we are free from all encumbrances that prevent us from wholly following God. 

I am reminded of Paul and Silas in Acts 16:26, “And suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed” KJV. Several of the other translations read that the earthquake was so violent that the doors flew open and the chains were loosed and fell off. The Spirit of God that possesses our mortal body has broken the chains and opened the barred doors. Thank God we are free to deliver the message of freedom to all who will hear and believe! Power to take back what Satan has stolen. Power to take back our nation, our schools, our churches, our families and our children! Power In The Holy Ghost!

In The Morning Light! by Myra Boozer

In the morning light, things are so much clearer. I can see further than I expected. I see HOPE resting high upon the mountain, just waiting for me to come and save her from all the doubts that were lurking during the night. They are hiding under the rubble of yesterday's leftover trials and heartaches.

I can see her looking all radiant in the sunlight, where I couldn't see her at all in the midnight. She needs me to be her friend as she bids me come. But, more importantly, I need her. I could never face TODAY without HOPE.

With so much depression spreading over our world and people feeling helpless and hopeless, I pray they will look up and find HOPE in Jesus Christ. He is the answer to all our needs. He gives us the strength to press on even though the darkness comes and doubt is always hiding in the shadows. 

HOPE remains steadfast! The secret is, “get up out of the rubble of despair and reach for her.” Yes, it takes effort but, your life is dependent upon YOU making the right choice. Hope isn't hiding from you! But, you must look for her! In The Morning Light!

Power In The Holy Ghost!

Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you...”

In the study of physics we are taught, “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” This is referred to as Newton's third law of motion. There is also a principle called the “principle of causation.” It is defined as the operation or relation of a cause and its effect. I want to use Newton's law of motion to evaluate the cause and effect of the world's present crisis.

When Christian churches all over the world began to let the Truth slip away, it created a void, a vacuum. This vacuum was not only created in the churches spiritual structure but also in the lives of individuals. And that void screams out to be filled. Why? Because an important person or thing has gone and has not been replaced. The Person gone is the Holy Spirit and the thing gone is Truth. Satan rushes in to replace Truth and Righteousness with Deception and Sin. Over a period of time, Satan has gradually slipped into the churches and undermined the power and authority that belongs to the Body of Christ. Many churches and individuals have given in to the pressures of society and embraced unholy alliances with the forces of darkness in our world. The assets that Jesus gave for the victory of the Body of Christ are no longer available to them. They have removed their covering and therefore stand powerless before the enemy. 

Our world is broken by sin and disobedience! Satan has invaded our house and has stolen precious treasures that belong to us. He has taken our health, our relationships, our time, our talents, our abilities, our finances, our family members both physical and spiritual and most anything else that he has wanted. We must stop him! We can stop him! We can take back what he has stolen from us! (continued)

Yesterday's Devotion! by Myra Boozer

Lord, write Your Words upon my heart today. As I sit under Your wonderful baby blue sky, I hear many sounds but the most prominent are the birds singing their songs of praise to You. The sun is shining thru the pines and the smell is so refreshing, pure and clean. I feel a slight yet gentle breeze blowing upon this fleshly body. My own heart's beginning to sing of Your great splendor as I delight myself in your peaceful beauty and rest.

The beauty of your handiwork is so enormous! To think that You would create such a place for mankind to live, to love, and enjoy is amazing to me. I feel so honored to have been allowed to experience life, enjoy family, and to know you as my Lord and Savior.

How can anyone not believe in You? How can they see the beauty and the mystery of life and not know there is a much higher power and that power is You. You are the Lord God Almighty! You express yourself in all I see, in all I experience, and all I plan to experience in the days ahead.

I cannot find words to express my feelings about Your exceedingly great mercy for mankind. I am many times overtaken with grief for this beautiful world and the souls that don't seem to discern Your Coming and the culmination of all things. How can they not see, how can they not believe, how can they continue to resist Your tugging on their hearts. They only need to think rationally for a few moments to understand Your love, Your power, and Your plan for mankind. 

Your love is superior to any love known to man. It cannot be duplicated or cloned by mortals. It flows from Your Holy Throne, pure and undefiled. There is no one like You. Your power is beyond all our imagination. No one is capable of keeping the oceans in place, hanging the stars out to shine just at the right time, send the rain or make a rainbow. You are perfect in all of Your ways and Your Kingdom is never ending!

My God Is Awesome!

You are mighty Oh God in the midst of your people. Who can stand against Your beloved as You dwell among them? How Great and Mighty You are, Your Wonders ready to perform. Is anything too difficult for You? “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” Jeremiah 32:17. There is nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing that God can’t do. Put your faith and trust in Him today!

"Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit of God, when I survey the awesomeness of who you are, I stand in wonder of your person. You are the Creator of all things yet you are my Father. You are the Life and Sustainer of all things created yet you are my Life and more abundantly. You are my Way, my Truth and my Life. In you, I live and move and have the entirety of my being. You are the power of the Almighty God inhabited within the person of the Holy Spirit as witnessed in the book of Acts. Yet you are my Strength, my Power, my Comforter, my Teacher, my Paraclete. You are the Divine and Magnanimous Person who inhabits all of eternity yet you are my Friend, my Companion, my Heart, and my Soul. There is no one like you!” 

Psalm 46:1, “...God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Father Denotes Family! by Myra Boozer

Have you ever felt that God was unreachable? That He, in His vast domain, was not attainable? Well, I have felt that way before, but not anymore. That has changed and keeps changing as I realize that He is ever-present, so close and so concerned about me and all that touches my life.

It is all because of His Son Jesus! Jesus has shown us His Father in the scriptures. He teaches us that He delights for us to call Him Father. Actually, when the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray..."After this manner therefore pray ye: Our FATHER which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name." Matthew 6:9

Jesus shows God to us. He shows us that He is our Father, that He is approachable, trustworthy, affectionate, loving and kind. Father denotes family! If you are redeemed by the blood of Jesus by asking for forgiveness for your sin, you are family and God is your Father. We have access to Him through the cleansing blood of Jesus on Calvary.

You don't have to be afraid! God loves YOU! Some people are, what we call, "moody." Their mood can change quickly from one day to the next. You never know what kind of mood they may be in. That makes it difficult to approach them. God is not that way. Malachi 3:6, "For I am the LORD, I change not."

This should open the door for us to come and sit with Him, without fear, without hesitation. So, why do we resist His loving arms of mercy and help in our times of need? What is causing the distance between you and Father God? Sometimes it is unrepented sin that shuts down communication. "Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof," Romans 6:12. 

It could be a lack of faith. Doubting that God can actually take care of our problems and our needs. It could be disobedience to what he has asked us to do. It could also be pride, thinking we are strong and capable of taking care of ourselves. Whatever the reason, don't keep resisting His open arms of mercy. Tomorrow we may be called to give an account of why we did not accept His LOVE. “Our Father which art in heaven...”

The Church Of The Living God, Church Of Power And Authority!

God is calling His Church back to a position of power and authority. The Holy Ghost inhabits the Body Of Christ with all the power of the Father and the Son. He has already infused His Church with all the authority of the risen Son of God, Jesus our Christ! There is no need for churches who are seeking and following the leading of the Holy Spirit to back away from any challenge they may face. In fact, we all should embrace the commission of Christ and rush into the conflict for the salvation of lost souls. (see Matt. 16:17-19)

The spiritual darkness is so intense in our world that evil runs rampant. Sin and wickedness are out of control! We know by the Word of God that evil men will grow progressively worse! 2 Tim. 3:12, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;” Evil hides in the darkness. He thinks he is safe without the presence of Light. However, there is Light, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid,” Matt. 5:14. The Body of Christ is that Light set on the hill as she reflects the Light of Jesus Christ. The Light of Christ is the Truth of the Gospel that He taught in Word and deed.

God's promise of victory and protection has always been to the obedient. This is a universal principle first received by the Jews and then the Gentiles. In recent years, through a gradual process of letting the Truth slip away, churches have opened the door for carnal ideals and man-made theology. In a calculated effort to assimilate people into their congregations, compromise has taken the place of Truth. The result has been growing the numbers of church participation at the cost of losing God's favor and anointing. As a result, many churches have become spiritually powerless and ineffective. Satan has taken advantage of this powerlessness replacing the anointing of the Holy Ghost with the power of the darkness of this world. He has infiltrated our worship, our praying, and our preaching. He has come into our religious activities and had his way. 

It’s time to show Satan the door, the way out. It’s time that he understands that he is not welcome in our churches. The way out for him is by the power and authority of the Holy Ghost. Oh, let the Spirit of God have control and He will put the enemy in his place. His place is eternal damnation! Rev. 20:10, “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” The Church Of The Living God, Church Of Power And Authority!

Don't Be Double Minded! by Myra Boozer

James 1:5, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”

There is coming a day when the righteous will be separated from the unrighteous. Many hearts will be saddened because they thought they had accepted Christ. They thought He was with them but to discover they had not actually made room for him. You see, Jesus does not dwell in an unclean heart. He will not live among the unholy or vile. He is holy and when He comes into your life, the unholy has to leave. There is so much more to having an ongoing relationship with Jesus than just saying a prayer once upon a time.

When we really want God, when we invite Him to come and live in our heart, our desires change. Life becomes about Him and not about us. Our motives change and we want to live to please Him and not ourselves. Our thinking is renewed and our old ways are no longer part of our everyday life. We don’t think about the same things as before and our speech changes. We don’t act the way we used to act or love the things we used to love. We are a brand new creature. The unclean and the vile things that may have once been a part of our life become repulsive to us. We just don’t want that kind of life anymore. It is like a light bulb comes on and we see clearly that we are on the wrong path, going in the wrong direction, headed for destruction. Then we hear the voice of the Lord calling us to Himself. He so desires to lead and direct us on the path of righteousness, the path that leads to Everlasting Life. We realize the ONLY way to PEACE is through accepting Jesus! The only way to HEAVEN is by following JESUS!

Don't be double-minded, claiming God and living in sin. It is a deception, actually a lie from the pit of hell. There are only two choices, heaven or hell, Holy or unholy. I think most of us know the difference. No, we cannot make ourselves holy but we can surrender under the mighty hand of God and allow Him to wash us clean. 

One day in the near future we will be so glad we came clean and cast off the sin that has tried desperately to live in our hearts. Asking God to forgive us is just part of the plan. Only you can choose to lay it all down, take up your cross and follow Jesus. No one can do it for you. It takes a real revelation of what is going on in your life. You must see yourself lost, forever doomed and on your way to a devil’s hell. Then you must see JESUS with his arms stretched wide open and nailed to that cross, for YOU. You must realize that Jesus had a choice to be obedient to His Father, to go to the cross or NOT. No one was making him do what he did! He chose to suffer the agony of the cross and die for YOU, yes YOU! He is calling and He is waiting for you to surrender your life to HIM...no longer lost, no longer guilty, no longer doomed...but cleared of all charges, ACCEPTED and REDEEMED by the precious blood of JESUS...

Time To Be The Church Of The Living God!

God is calling us, the Body of Christ, to rise up in the power and the authority of the Holy Ghost and be the Church of the Living God. He has embedded the Holy Ghost in His Church to empower us to finish His Work. God is calling us to confront and engage this invasion of darkness and evil that dares to challenge His perfect plan. However, we must use the weapons He has given us to defeat the powers of darkness. 2 Cor. 10:4, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; 5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

We cannot win against Satan if we are walking in the flesh! As local church congregations, we will not succeed without the leading and anointing of the Holy Spirit. Carnality cuts our connection to heaven. We can promote our plans and dreams but if they are not born from the heart of God, they will not have God’s favor.

So many churches have become social connections and financial institutions. The Church of God should be an entity of prayer. Matt. 21:12, “And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, 13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. 14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.” The religious people had made the house of God a place of merchandise and personal gain. After the commercial aspects of religion were removed, many came to Jesus in the Temple and He healed them! 

The Holy Spirit is calling His Church to refocus on prayer. He is calling us back to our knees for a fresh anointing of Pentecostal power that will change the lives around us for eternity. That kind of power will only come through intercessory prayer born out of the heart of God and implemented by the Holy Spirit as He seeks the will of God through us. 

By the power of Almighty God, we, the Church of the Living God, can pull down the strongholds of Satan. He has no place to hide in the presence of God! Darkness is illuminated by the Light of His presence. When we come to God in faith, submission, and obedience, our victory is assured in Jesus Christ. God wants to bring us back to His original relationship with man where God and man walked together in perfect peace without the influence of darkness and evil. And, that will be the result for all who will follow Him in submission and obedience. Time To Be The Church Of The Living God!

There Is A Storm On The Horizon! by Myra Boozer

The winds of false doctrine are building into a spiritual tornado. They are destroying every soul that has not built themselves up in the faith that was once delivered to the saints. The storm clouds gather as the gross darkness cannot hide any longer from this world. The Word tells us in Isaiah 60:2, "For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people..." As it feeds on the sinful nature that has so viciously spread through our land, it is building in momentum. It is rapidly moving in! Can you hear the distant thunder?

As a storm on the horizon, it was beautiful in its conception. The colors were vibrant and vivid. But, mixed with the Winds of False Doctrine, the spinning has begun and the loud sounds of horror have intertwined with the fierce lightning of Satan himself. Many have already been deceived and destroyed.

As they have gathered on the sea of time the false teachers and preachers have devised their own way to get to God, other than through His Son, Jesus Christ. They have tried to rebuke the winds of sorrow in their own carnal voice and seen no results. Speaking great mysteries and giving interpretations from their own carnal voice, they have produced many different answers for our day. They build each other up in the false security that God is with them when He is not.

They teach the multitudes that they are to have all their mind can conceive in riches and wealth. They teach them that a loving God has forgiven all the sins committed in the past, present, and future. NOT SO! All sin must be repented of, as the Holy Spirit convicts the heart. 

They are heaping judgment upon themselves and all who are listening to them. The book of Jude tells us we may save some with fear pulling them out of the fire. This is my sole purpose for writing this post today. Maybe someone will began to read and study the Word for themselves and not be destroyed by this great storm of DECEPTION that is sweeping over the world. There Is A Storm On The Horizon!

Responsible To Teach Our Children The Truth!

We must continue to be focused on what God is speaking to us and to the Body of Christ. God is calling us to take back what belongs to Him. It is time to take back our nation, our schools, our churches, our families and our children. We have allowed the covering or mantle of the Holy Spirit to slowly erode and thereby give access to the spirit of darkness in each of these areas of our lives.

God is calling us as the Body of Christ to rise up in the power and authority of heaven and challenge this onslaught and invasion by the powers of darkness. We must begin where we live. We must begin within our own families. We must stop this intrusion of deception that has silently crept into our lives. We must weigh the doctrines of men with the plumb line of God’s Holy Word and respond accordingly. We can no longer accept the role of pacifism which is the mother of apathy. A lack of action has brought us to where we are. It’s time to stand up and be counted as a people who preach, teach and live by the Truth of God’s Word.

We have a Divine responsibility to teach our children the Truth by Word and deed. The confusion that appears to have come about concerning the sexual identity of individuals in this generation could have been addressed at the very root of its origin if parents had taught their children the Truth and lived that Truth before them. We are reaping a harvest of our indecisiveness. We have been too afraid we might offend or drive them away.

The time has come to decide how we want to finish this journey! God is giving this world an ultimatum much in the same way Elijah challenged Israel at Mt. Carmel. 1 Kings 18:21, “And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.” How long will we linger in indecision, standing mute before Almighty God?

In the New Testament, Paul stated that there was a time when God overlooked our ignorance. Acts 17:29, “Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. 30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: 31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.” When a man comes to the understanding of the Truth, he is then held accountable for that Truth. God has pleaded with this world in generation after generation to accept His gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. “...but now commandeth all men every where to repent:” The result has been a response of stone-cold rejection to His love and mercy by the majority of people. God is preparing to bring every thought and deed into His eternal judgment. “...Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained;...” That day is swiftly approaching! 

It’s time to decide how we want to finish our journey! We must take a stand for the Truth of God’s Word in this generation. It’s time to stand up and be counted as a people who preach, teach and live by the Truth of God’s Word. Responsible To Teach Our Children The Truth!

A Sunday Morning Prayer! by Myra Boozer

Lord, may we cast off all and any distractions that keep us from focusing on You. Those things that devour our time, leaving us tattered and worn, even frazzled in our thinking. The things that pull us down into despair. May we discard them for today as you draw us into Your domain.

May we turn our thoughts to rest in YOU and your precious mercy, that You so graciously extend by Your right hand. May we sit in Your presence and be renewed, refreshed and revived. May we feel the touch of Angel wings upon our faces as we measure the depth of Your unfailing love. 

May we feel your gentle hand upon our cheek as you dry our tears. Yes, Lord may we cast aside all that is pulling and draining our very soul. May we know without a doubt that you are taking care of every worry and every heartbreak, as we climb up in your lap and lay our head on Your big shoulder. You are our Loving Father! May we never grow so wise in our thinking that we fail to remember we are a child, Your Child! We are Yours, Lord! May we never forget Your great Love for us!

The Day Is Far Spent! Conclusion

There were many distractions for Christ’s disciples following His death. They must have been in a state of spiritual and emotional distress. The Church was a total wreck with the leaders scattered for fear of their own lives. Try to put yourself in their places. How would you feel if the same thing happened to you? I can think of a few: betrayed, fearful, deserted, hopeless, defeated, disbelief, anger, and the list could go on. The main point being that they had to recover from all these feelings and experiences because they had a mission to finish.

We can easily be distracted from our mission by the events happening around us each day. But, we must continue to be focused on what God is speaking to us and to the Body of Christ. God is calling us to take back what belongs to Him. It is time to take back our nation, our schools, our churches, our families and our children. We have allowed the covering or mantle of the Holy Spirit to slowly erode and thereby give access to the spirit of darkness in each of these areas of our lives.

Our nation and our schools were once covered by prayer, seeking God’s intervention into the affairs of state and the administration of the education of our children. Somewhere along the line, the Church has let down the shield of prayer. It was not an event that happened quickly but slowly and methodically the spirit of darkness has crept into the places that the Spirit of Light ought to be thriving.

So many of our churches have become financial institutions rather than houses of prayer. The Holy Spirit is calling us back to our knees for a fresh anointing of Pentecostal power. That kind of power will only come through intercessory prayer born out of the heart of God and instituted through the Holy Spirit as He seeks the will of God through us. 

Our families are suffering because of a lack of Holy Ghost leadership in the family structure. We are losing our children because the Spirit of God is not sufficiently modeled and expressed in the family, in our churches, in our schools and in the leadership of our nation. God is calling us back to the Biblical structure of the family which directly or indirectly affects every other aspect of our lives. God wants to change all this and all he asks it that we agree with Him and join with Him. He is our answer! How will we respond? The Day Far Spent and we must finish His work!

Thy Kingdom Come! by Myra Boozer

Mark 1:15 “...The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

I would love to feed all the hungry...wrap my arms around the broken and mend them. I would love to wipe the tears from all the lonely and crushed...mend the bruised and battered...release those who are in bondage by the enemy...set the captives free...hold all the babies that are unwanted...care for all the elderly who are forsaken...heal every sickness and diseased person on the face of the earth...stop every evil and depraved thought that enters the mind of the youth...I would guard them against all evil. I would mend every marriage and bring every family into unity with God...strengthen every person who shares the Word of God and give them HOPE of many souls being saved, delivered and set free. I would love to do all this! I am limited but JESUS is NOT! I can share JESUS and He can do this for all who will REPENT and BELIEVE! 

I WOULD SHUT THE MOUTH OF THE LIONS THAT ARE TRYING TO DEVOUR ALL WHO ARE GOOD AND RIGHTEOUS...I WOULD STOP ALL THE LIES AND CORRUPTION OF THE EVIL AND EGOTISTIC WHO ARE HUNGRY FOR STATUS IN THIS WORLD...I WOULD BIND EVERY EVIL SPIRIT THAT RAISES ITS UGLY HEAD AGAINST HUMANITY...I WOULD SHUT DOWN ALL THE PLACES THAT OFFER ENTICEMENT TO THOSE WHO ARE WEAK AND UNSTABLE...I WOULD STOP MURDER, HATE, AND EVERY ABOMINATION...I WOULD STOP ALL FALSE TEACHINGS AND DOCTRINES OF DEVILS...I WOULD BRING ABOUT A NEW WORLD WHERE THE LAMB WILL LAY DOWN WITH THE LION...I AM LIMITED! BUT, JESUS IS NOT! JESUS WILL DO ALL THIS WHEN HE COMES RIDING ON HIS WHITE HORSE WITH FIRE IN HIS EYES, WEARING MANY CROWNS...HIS NAME IS CALLED THE WORD OF GOD...HE SHALL RULE WITH A ROD OF IRON. HE WILL PUT EVERYTHING IN ITS PROPER PLACE...We are getting closer and closer to that DAY! Lord Jesus, Thy Kingdom Come!

The Day Is Far Spent!

Luke 24:28, “And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further. 29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.”

Jesus would have continued on His journey except that His disciples constrained (to cause a person to give in to pressure) Him to “abide with us.” Jesus’ disciples compelled Him to stay with them. As I read these words, I am drawn to the idea that they compelled Jesus to abide with them. The day was gone and twilight was coming on. The end of the day had come signaling the end of the day’s work. 

We will soon come to the end of our day and the end of our work. The day is almost gone and twilight is coming on. What we do for Christ we must do it quickly. We must use the precious time He is giving us to finish His work. Jesus said of Himself in John 9:4, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” The night is upon us and no one will work. The time for work will be over. Nothing can distract or detour us from the mission Christ has given us. Complete TRUST in the leading of the Holy Spirit is essential to our victory and salvation for all who will hear this message! The Day Is Far Spent! (continued)

The Rewards For Sin Are Evil And Darkness!

Joel 1:1, “The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel. 2Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers? 3Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation. 4That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten. 5Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth. 6For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion. 7He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.”

Joel viewed this plague of locust as an invading army descending upon the nation of Israel as the judgment of God. The call had been given to repent and return to the theocratic rule of the Lord God Jehovah. Israel had refused and rebelled against God and God’s messengers.

Our world is descending into this pit of darkness at an alarming pace. We are now observing disorder and dissension at every level of governance. It began at the national levels and is bleeding down into the regional and local levels. It is affecting small communities and individual families.

The calamity and chaos will not stop! It will not go away! It will invariably come to your house and to mine unless the problem is addressed. As a people, we have a deep-seated spiritual problem! It goes down deep into the soul, embedding itself in the very heart of every human being. The root of the issue is SIN and an unwillingness to REPENT and TURN from that SIN. This plague and every plague of darkness draws its strength from SIN and REBELLION.

No person or group of people are immune from this disease of indifference, hatred, and darkness that has invaded our land. This is like the plague of locust described in the book of Joel. This plague will continue moving deliberately, methodically and with absolute certainty unless it is challenged by Power from Heaven. 

Jesus placed His power and authority within the Body of Christ to address every ill of our ailing society. We must rise up in the power and authority of Jesus Christ and address the chaotic state of our world! We must rise up in prayer in the Holy Ghost and pray against this darkness. In the Name of Jesus, the Body of Christ has power over every demonic power and the very power of Satan himself. He can do nothing but cower in the darkness when we invoke the Name of Jesus. Jesus’ blood has conquered him and he knows he is defeated. Philippians 2:10, “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;” Hell and the depth of everything in it will be cast down and give way for the Mighty Lamb of God. Thanks be unto God who always gives us the victory over all things in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise God forever!

Put Your Trust In Jesus! by Myra Boozer

This was written one year ago to the day but is still relevant to where we are as a society. These events take place far too often and we need to ask ourselves, “What is the root of the problem?” 

In the wake of the school shooting a year ago today in Texas, I offer this prayer. I pray we give our attention to God more than ever and stand with Him and His Holy Word...I pray we give time to those around us as though they are family and depending on us...I pray for strength and encouragement to come just at our time of need...I pray for love to send forth its power to bring in the lonely and the hurting from the cold that has settled on our world...I pray for truth to invade our lives as a strong and mighty wind stirring in our souls...I pray for unity to prevail in the hearts of all believers so that the world might see and know that God is alive and working among us...I pray for peace to surround us like a strong light coming from the throne room of God...I pray for joy, the kind that is deep-rooted and cannot be shaken by the howling of the enemy...I pray for eyes to see the beauty that is in everything we hold...I pray for ears to hear the whispers of our babies as they pull on our heartstrings and long to be close to us...I pray for guidance from above as we travel the road we have never traveled before...It is all new and our hearts are excited but our minds are in question as to what lies ahead for each and every one of us...Trust in Him who will not leave you...Put Your Trust In Jesus!

God Knows The Way I Should Take!

Job 23:10, “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. 11 My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. 12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.”

As I observe the behavior of the world around me, I must conclude there seems to be a mad dash of lost humanity into their eternal destiny without regard for the preservation of their eternal souls. Life is precious and a gift from God and no one has the right to take away that gift. We are living in an era when a majority of people support the killing of innocent children in the womb and then are horrified when someone takes a gun to school and massacres those innocent lives. Our world has created an atmosphere in which reverence for life has been greatly diminished for some and for others it is destroyed altogether. The weight is heavy upon us to sound the alarm and awaken lost humanity to the consequences of our apathy in this arena of life. We cannot attach value to life in one instance while devaluing life in another! We are reaping the result of our inconsistencies.

It is time to take a stand! As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must proclaim the call of God to adhere to the principles of His Word. The path before us is unknown, however, the way ahead is not uncharted territory. We have never been this way before, but we can proceed with full assurance that God knows where we are going. God has something to say and a work to perform in this generation. If we have covenanted to walk with Him, we are going where He is going. God has gone before us and created our map in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Way! John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” If we follow Him, He will lead us in His path. He knows the way we should take! 

There is no need to flounder in a climate of indecision when the answer is with us. Let us not be deterred by the uncertainties that lie before us but concern ourselves with the cause of Jesus Christ. He loves each and every person and placed great value on each soul by giving His own life to bring life to the lifeless. We may not know the specifics of our future but we can be sure that if our faith is in the saving grace of the cross, we will finish well. God Knows The Way We Should Take!

The Peace Of Jerusalem! by Myra Boozer

It seems that few other countries want that to be. However, God wants it and that is the way it will be. Children of God, take notice of the events transpiring in our world and the corresponding prophecies of God’s Word relating to the consummation of all things! Be ready, Jesus can come at any hour!

At the time of my original article, I had gone to my desk to pull a notebook to write my Christmas menu down and I found this written on the first page. Psalm 122:6, “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee...” Added to that was this...Praying for the Peace of Jerusalem is really praying for Shalom or praying for the Messiah to come to earth. I knew I was to let this settle into my heart so I gave some time to it. I looked up the Psalm and read the chapter. Verse 7 says, "Peace be within thy walls and prosperity within thy palaces...” That is where true biblical peace is found...within!

The word Shalom also stood out to me. It is a Hebrew word and means much more than just Peace. Bill and I have often discussed the scripture, "Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem" and felt that it could have a double meaning. "Peace" is not only a lack of war but also for the Prince of Peace to come. For some time we have felt in our hearts that when we pray for the peace of Jerusalem we are really praying for Jesus to come and set up His kingdom.

"Today many are praying for the peace of Jerusalem due to the rising threat from Israel's enemies. However, this exhortation to pray is not so Israel can live without conflict. It is so that Jerusalem can fulfill its destiny as set by the only One who can bring complete RESTORATION to the city...It almost sounds like we are praying for the return of Israel's Messiah, the Prince of Peace, to establish His throne in Jerusalem...There are many other examples worthy of study regarding shalom. Peace is so much more than the world's one-sided definition. We must find our understanding of it through the Bible from the God of Israel. We will need it in the days ahead.” Doug Hersey

Zech. 4:6, "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts."

As the Body of Christ, we must move forward in the unabated anointing of the Holy Spirit. The knowledge and wisdom of man will not be sufficient for the conflict just ahead. The Holy Spirit is our indispensable confidant as we move toward the culmination of God’s plan. 

Unabated means “continuing at full strength or force without becoming weaker. Being at full strength or force.” We will require the full authority, presence, and perspective of the Holy Spirit every moment of this journey. We dare not proceed without being fully immersed in His person and baptized in the power of His presence. His guidance is essential! The choices and decisions ahead will be difficult. Not difficult to make but difficult in the sense of their consequences. A step forward without the absolute wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit could put us on a path of irreparable error. At the very least choices made without the full assurance of the Holy Spirit will cause unnecessary sorrow and suffering. The road back is always burdensome.

The storms of darkness are raging against the Light of Truth set upon the hill. Matt. 5:14, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Jesus was talking to His Church and informing them that they would carry His Light for all to see. No matter how severe the storms may be, they must submit to the Command of the Light. Jesus is the Light in us. The storms will respond to only ONE voice, the Master’s voice. When the storms of life are raging, He will stand by me. At the mere utterance of His command, the winds cease and there is peace. 

Psalm 31:19, “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! 20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.”

Satan Will Oppose You! by Myra Boozer

“Opposition to lives which are yielded to Jesus Christ takes many forms, some dramatic, some subtle. Satan is a clever angel of light but sometimes he chooses supernatural ways to frighten us into inactivity. During a time at camp with the girls, I was singing outside of the cabin after lights-out. The song had the words: ‘Don't be afraid for whatever is coming, your heavenly Father takes care of you.’ Suddenly I heard horrible noises around me. It seemed as if among the trees some sort of beings were trying to make me stop. The noises grew and subsided, sending shivers through my body with their weird tones. While I sang, I pleaded with the Lord: ‘Cover me and protect me with Your blood, Lord Jesus...give me strength to go on singing and speak through me to reach all these girls.’ The noises remained and got louder and more ugly, but I didn't stop. I knew that I stood on the front line of battle but through Jesus, it was victory ground, not defeat or retreat. As soon as I finished the song, the noise stopped, just as abruptly as they began. I went to bed and thanked the Lord for His victory. The next morning I asked the girls if they had heard anything unusual the previous night. They answered that they had never heard me sing so beautifully. Nobody heard anything else.” This is taken from Corrie ten Boom's book IN MY FATHERS HOUSE..

My question is what is trying to stop you today? Don't let the troubles, trials or tribulations of this life or anything that Satan would throw in your path stop you from singing the Praises of our Lord. Sing loud and with all your might! Don't give up, we are almost HOME.

Jesus said in this life we would have these troubles but to not be alarmed because He overcame and so will we through His power that works in us. As we get closer to the return of the Lord the noise will become louder and louder from the opposition. It is time to arise and stand in the face of the enemy. The world's tactics (or armor) will not fit the Christian. Just like Saul's armor did not fit David, the Shepherd boy. It will take the leading, the direction and the unction of the Holy Spirit to defeat the enemy of our day just like it did in David's day. 

We must remember these words as we go out to defeat our giants...”No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD,” Isaiah 54:17. NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER...FOR I GO IN THE NAME OF THE LORD GOD JEHOVAH...

You Can Know God's Plan!

Where am I? We need to be ready to leave where God is not and go to where God is! It is always important to know where we are and where God is. Where are we in relation to where God desires us to be? I personally feel the need to press in and press through the opposition of the enemy into the good that God has for me and all that I may influence.

Jer. 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

God has “good” planned for those who will answer His call to discipleship. He has a promised (secured) end or divine heritage. We need not question our finish if only we will heed the voice of God.

Jer. 29:12, “Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.”

Oh, to call upon God, to seek His face and hear and see His answer! He promises to hear and respond (hearken). Our challenge is to clearly perceive His response. The Spirit of God is pushing back against the darkness that permeates this sinful world. God is calling His warriors to come alongside Him, join in the battle and share His victory. He is calling us to our knees to intercede for a lost and dying world.

Jer. 29:13, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

“...ye shall seek me, and find me...” God is always available. He is always with us. But we must have the sense of His presence to recognize His voice and to understand what he is doing or planning to do. God's promise is that we will find Him when we search for Him with all our heart. The human condition requires the intervention of our creator. We always stand in need of God's assistance. The question is, “Do we really want his help?” Are we willing to relinquish complete control of our lives to Him? He knows the way we take (the path we should follow) and will direct our steps accordingly. 

God has a plan for us. A plan for good and not evil. He has an expected (secured) finish for His people. Lord, help us to search for you with all our heart. Help us to walk in your manifest presence and to seek you with all our heart! Amen. You Can Know God’s Plan!

Distractions! by Myra Boozer

If you were at the Airport Terminal with your bags packed and your ticket in hand would you throw those things aside and grab a taxi and head back home to start a "makeover?" Would you tear down and build a bigger home and plant an orchard? Or start making plans for more training on how to build your career? Not really! Not if your mind and your heart were set, fixed, and determined to make the trip of your life. Say, a trip to your final destination, to the place that Jesus has gone to prepare for you.

Now mind you, we don’t know when the call will come to leave this earth but we can see all the signals are giving the go ahead. Even if there is a delay at the airport, you don’t go back home. You stay sitting on ready because when the call is given you must be READY!

Are we getting Ready? Many distractions will come to us in many different forms. This is our great challenge, to NOT become entangled with the affairs of this life when we see that day fast approaching. Galatians 5:1, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." The affairs of this world can become a bondage to us, distracting us from our ultimate goal. 

The call for all of God's people is about to happen. For all those "Departing" this sinful world, the call is about to be made. We are going HOME! 1Peter 4:7 "but the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer." We must be vigilant, alert, and listening for his call. Don't allow the sounds of Distractions to cause you to miss the Sound of His Coming...Be Ready!

Choose Eternal Life!

John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

Life just happens! But, serving Jesus Christ requires deliberate action from us. Life will go on all around you and you don’t have to do a thing. You can sit and watch the sun rise and set, and not lift a finger to do anything and life will still go on. Babies are born and death takes others away but life goes on. Some people are thrilled to the heavens about life and others are depressed enough to die but life goes on.

Whether we choose to participate in life or not, life will continue to move forward, moving us into our future and our eternity. But, it does matter the choice each individual makes regarding their life. It is so important that we choose eternal life in Jesus Christ and take deliberate action to serve Him. Believe on Him as your Savior and move into your promised future. Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” 

Take advantage of the opportunities God gives you today to ensure that your eternity includes Him! Choose Eternal Life!
