How Long Will God Continue? by Myra Boozer

How long will God continue in His mercy and give this country time to Repent? How long will He wait? We do not know! He has given time for individuals to fall before Him in repentance for their sins. But for a Nation to go against His laws and commands is a different story. I feel judgment is coming on America for all the sin that is parading around as something good when it is an abomination! Not only in this country but other countries are defying the laws of God. God will not wait long! He will do as He has done in the past. I think JUDGMENT will come quickly.

Some may go thru the fire and call upon His Name being purified by the fire. Others will continue in sin and will regret that they have NOT taken the time to repent when the Spirit was pleading and convicting their hearts. Many Christians, saints of God are giving their lives today and suffering much persecution because they have not denied the Name of Christ. Then there is the rest of the living righteous, the blood bought Church, the Body of Christ who has made herself ready. She will be taken in a moment and twinkling of an eye to meet the Bridegroom.

There were seven Churches of Asia that are written about in the first three chapters of Revelation. Jesus named the things that He had against six of the churches and ask them to repent. He was telling them to listen to what the SPIRIT HAD TO SAY TO THEM BUT NOTICE the Church in Philadelphia. He said in Rev. 3:8, “I know thy works: behold I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, (his), and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10a Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation...” (II Peter 2:9 the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly, out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished). Rev. 3:10b, “...which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 BEHOLD, I COME QUICKLY hold fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” Notice chapter 4....and see what John has to say about seeing the open door...saw the throne and the four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment (clothes) and had their crowns on their heads...the crown that Jesus said,"Let no man take thy crown." Praise the Lord! He is coming...BE READY for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man is coming... 

Jesus Christ Is Our Only Hope!

Matthew 7:24, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.”

Father God, Lord God Almighty, Father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Almighty Creator Jehovah, I come in the name of your only begotten Son, Jesus. I thank you for the light of a new day and for the rest of a peaceful night. Thank you for Providential guidance and revelation. Thank you for the Peace that passes all human understanding which is the experience of a right relationship with you. It is there that we take shelter from the raging storm of this world!

Evil and sin come upon us as a mighty hurricane, moving slowly and methodically destroying everything in it's path. Destruction howls like the wind, undermining the very foundation of all that we admire and trust. Evil lurches out at the family devouring the cohesiveness of love, trust and communication creating walls of isolation, unbelief and contempt. Thereby neutralizing the principles upon which our very existence is founded. Evil strikes at the heart of the governing bodies of our societies. Darkness has crept into our educational systems and infected every level of governance reaching to the seat of our national and international government.

Apparently, our leadership has forgotten that the education of our children will invariably affect our nation and ultimately the world. What we teach in our homes, churches, schools and universities will create the mindset for the succeeding generations. The guiding principles of our forefathers are strategic and indispensable elements to the continued survival of this nation as we have known it. The ideals of love of God and country have sustained us in all conflict through out our history. If we allow the name of God to be maligned and degraded, we are setting the example for the next generation. If we allow the principles of personal freedom and liberty that this nation was founded upon to be diluted and discarded, we will pay the price in defeat and ruin. A people that rejects God will be given over to their own devises and suffer the consequences. The structure of the family has disintegrated because we have not followed God. The health of our churches is diminished and some have expired because we have not followed God. Every institution, every governing body at every level has depreciated in value and relevance because we have not followed God.

Is that what we want as a nation? Do we want to be abandoned by our Creator and go it all alone? I think not! So then, what are we to do? Moral fortitude and intellectual rhetoric can not address the plague of sin that has consumed mankind. The answer to our needs cannot be legislated, addressed by executive order or resolved by the ruling of the highest court in the land. None of these actions can put us back on course as the human race. But, there is Hope! That Hope is the Lord Jesus Christ!

The problems of our civilization are spiritual! The issues we face require supernatural intervention! What we need is a Spiritual Awakening! An Awakening of Pentecostal proportions that will bring a renewed faith in the delivering and preserving power of Jesus Christ. Our only hope is the Lord Jesus! Let the Church call unto Him as never before. Petition Him in fervent prayer until we experience the moving of the Holy Ghost that will change our world as He did in the first century! Our future will be determined by what we do HERE and NOW! Jeremiah 33:2, “Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; 3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Amen!

Meet Her At The Crossroads! by Myra Boozer

"Does not wisdom call out, And understanding lift up her voice?" BUT WHO IS LISTENING? Only the wise will hear! "She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, beside the way, Where the paths meet. She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, At the entrance of the doors," Proverbs 8:1-3, NKJV.

Wisdom is calling to everyone of us...but some, just don't have time to listen...they are too busy making plans and settling deals with whomever they choose. They decide to walk right on by Wisdom and give her no attention as though she wasn't even there. Too many today are so hasty and determined to be their own guide that they have forgotten to seek God for wisdom. Wisdom is a choice, you see. We don't have to keep making the same mistakes over and over again. Wisdom is there,"beside the gate." Every decision one makes has an entrance but before we proceed further, we can take time to seek wisdom. She (wisdom) is not overbearing or rude but she is there standing strong and firm. She is at the entrance of every door. She is on the face of every decision...she is available. We can embrace her or we can ignore her “No." She is not without price...for she is only available to those will lay down their ideas, their plans, their desires and seek after the righteousness of God. No, she is not immediate, for it takes time to rid oneself of the earthly, carnal selfish desires and lean fully on the heart of God...knowing that He is the Master Planner of our lives. He is the One who knows everything from front to back. He knows us and the plans He has for us. He is the one who made us creatures of choice and He willingly gives wisdom to all who will choose her.

What a great honor it is to meet "Wisdom " at every crossroad. With so much uncertainty and days of difficulty to even know who is telling the truth and who isn't... o figure out the puzzle and get out of the maze created by the worldly system requires more than my mind can conceive...I must have wisdom, for she is from God. He has placed her there. She will not fail but notice she (Wisdom) is standing where the paths meet. That means we can go either way. We will go the way of the world unless we are firmly rooted and grounded in Christ. The way of the world is the broad way and leads to destruction. The narrow way will be the one where Wisdom is standing and offering Life Eternal. She is valuable, more precious than rubies and nothing you could ever desire can compare with her...see Proverbs 8:11

Peace In Time Of Storm!

Hurricane Harvey has brought pain and suffering, death and destruction to the people in it’s path. The scars of this storm will live in the memory of those caught in it’s wake and recovery is predicted to take many years. But where is our hope for intervention and recovery from the devastation? The people around us can only do so much and go so far. They can assist in the recovery of material possessions but the healing must come from a presence greater than man and greater than the storm. That presence is the restoration and delivering power of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is our peace in time of the storm.

As I write these words, I am reminded of the current conditions existing in our world. The storms of life are raging and they will become more intense before they are concluded. But, tomorrow is coming when they will all pass away. The clouds will be dispersed and the Son will rise and shine at the beginning of a perfect day. The Day Star will rise casting all imperfection into yesterday and will lead us into our pure, unspoiled future. Jesus gave us this promise.

John 14:1, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

This very moment as we battle the storms in our life, Jesus is making provision for us. He is providing the spiritual fortitude to bring us through the storms and also preparing our final destination to be with Him. We must place our hand in His and let Him lead us there. There is no storm, no trial, no test or battle that He cannot navigate. In fact, He allows the storms to come to help us grow and mature as His disciples. He is teaching us to recognize the best path. He is teaching us that He is always with us and we are learning to recognize Him in our storm. God uses the storms to fashion His faith, His trust and His assurance in us. Faith that His promises are sure, trust that it is His voice we hear and assurance that no matter where the storms of life may carry us, He is always there. Matt. 28:20, “...and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world...”

Christ has promised to go with us, sustain us and deliver us. What we must to do is walk with Him. We belong to Him and He says, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” John 10:27. He has paid a great price for our deliverance and nothing can take us out of His hand if we will only trust and obey Him.

Psalm 31:19, “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! 20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.”

My soul craves the peace of God's presence. In His stillness I find peace and rest. He lifts me above this world's raging storm. He quiets the winds and calms the blustery waves. He commands “peace, be still” and my life returns.

No Time To Be Discouraged! by Myra Boozer

The days are evil and the storms of life are raging. The enemy has come in like a flood, as it rips through our land trying to wash away every grain of truth and justice that has prevailed in our Country since the beginning of her existence. Turmoil has found a landing on the steps of every home and the heart of every man, woman and child...The winds of this world whisper, you are alone and no one is interested in your sorrows...just forget about being the one that will find refuge in the soul of another human being...trust only in your might and none other... for no one cares or is able to lift you above the muddy waters of this terrible swift and raging current.

But wait, I hear the chirping of the sparrow and see the eagle on the highest bough...and listen to the breeze as it sings the sweetest song...Redeemed, You are redeemed...You have been purchased...bought with a price... counted worthy to be forgiven and You are FREE. This is no time to be discouraged...God is allowing us to build strong faith in HIM and not our circumstances...

The Manifest Presence Of God!

In this wicked and obstinate generation the Body of Christ must seek for and walk in the manifest presence of Jesus Christ. His covering is the key to our progress and ultimate completion of our mission here.

2 Chronicles 7:1, “Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.”

Solomon prayed a prayer of honor and thanksgiving for the newly completed Tabernacle. It was not simply a formal prayer of dedication. He PRAYED honestly and earnestly. Oh, how we need to earnestly seek the God of glory for His manifest presence in His Church. Pray for and sincerely desire that the glory of God rest upon His House.

Solomon had prepared the House for God's habitation and invited God to live there. 2 Chronicles 6:41, “Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place,..” Solomon had built the Tabernacle as a habitation of the Lord and he entreated God to dwell there. When the glory of the Lord filled the house, the people fell on their faces in honor and reverence at His presence.

Let us prepare this house for the manifest presence of God. You are His house. Ephesians 2:22, “In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Allow the blood of Jesus to wash us clean and make us holy and acceptable to God. Invite Christ to live in this house and manifest His presence. Fall on our faces in honor and reverence in the presence of God, total, complete, unreserved and uninhibited worship in His presence.

God's reply to Solomon was, “...I have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice,” 2 Chronicles 7:12. Sacrifice was the system of worship in the Old Testament. So, what was God saying? He was saying that when His people came to Him in worship He would meet with them. The same promise applys to the Body of Christ today. When we come to the Lord in unreserved and uninhibited worship, we will experience His manifest presence. It is expedient that He inhabit this House for our salvation and the souls of our lost world.

What will your church offer the lost, the dying, the hungry? What will your worship experience give to them? Will it be business as usual or will it be a Divine Encounter? True worship will always include a Divine Encounter! Otherwise, it is only an expression of religious habit!

He Died For You, Yes You! by Myra Boozer

You who are wondering in the darkness and fighting against the winds of the world... Struggling for peace and warmth in your heart...Wrestling with turmoil and pain...Searching for acceptance and finding none...Longing for love and companionship...Only to be disappointed...Rejected and forgotten, alone in the crowd...Searching in all the wrong places and coming up empty...Just to remind you there is one who can calm all your fears, dry all your tears and bring a warm fire to your life...make you His own, to never be forgotten or forsaken...It is Jesus...YES, He died for you and He longs to come and be your EVERYTHING.

Come See A Man!

John 4:3, “He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee. 4 And he must needs go through Samaria. 5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.”

He must needs go through Samaria. Why did Jesus need to go through Samaria? He had a message for that city! It began with the woman at the well of Jacob and spread all over the city. When the word spread about the woman’s encounter with Jesus many came to see for themselves. Her invitation was, John 4:29, “Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? 30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.” Many more believed at the testimony of Jesus. John 4:42, “...Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.”

Oh, how we need the presence of Christ Jesus to be manifest in our churches. Having heard of this woman’s encounter and subsequent revelation, the people of Samaria came to see for themselves. Their desire was to see this Jesus who had told her all things. I am convinced that our churches are filled week after week with people who are searching for the answers to their needs. They need Jesus to be manifest in our worship services! The Holy Spirit has a message for all who would believe! Jesus wants to reveal His deliverance, healing and salvation to all who will embrace His Truth. The woman of Samaria went to the well to draw water but her life was changed forever because she met Jesus there. Jesus is the answer to every human condition. Come see a man who told me all things! Call out to Him today!

Why Settle For Less?

John 10:7, “Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Why would you settle for less than the very best your life could possible be? It all depends on who or what you put your trust in! The system of this world will let you down. We cannot place our trust in the hands of mortal man but must seek out the “life giver” who already has a plan, His plan for our lives. If we will obey His call, He will fully implement His Divine “order” in us and through us. Order suggests the way objects in space or events in time are arranged or follow one another. God knows where we need to be at any given time so He may bring forth His Divine purpose in us. He is vividly aware of the best possible path for our lives. He see’s our future and knows the way we should take.

Job describes our dilemma and the solution to our problem. Job 23:8, “Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: 9 On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him: 10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” He illustrates the limitations of our carnal flesh. I go forward, backward, right and left but I cannot see Him. True, we can not see Him if we are walking in the flesh. We must commit our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ and trust Him because He knows the way that we should take.

Jesus said, “...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Jesus’ promise is far more than being alive in this mortal body. His hearers already had that physical presence. He was referring to life at it’s very best which included a personal relationship with Him and a life in His Spirit.

Jesus Christ put on human nature for the attainment of man's salvation. Therefore, Jesus could say, “I am come that they might have life.” He came to live and die to become a sacrifice for the sins of all men and deliver us from sins punishment. The punishment for sin is death. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” By His death and resurrection Jesus has introduced us to a life previously unavailable. Thereby bringing all who will believe into the realm of His Spirit to walk with Him in this life and live with Him in the life to come, eternity.

Why would you settle for less than the very best your life could possible be? Jesus has made it possible for you to rise above a mere existence in this world to a Life in His Spirit. Though storms will come, He is there to calm the turmoil. Though you’ll need to make difficult choices, He is there to be your guide. Though the world is against you, He is for you and victory is guaranteed. Don’t settle for less! Philippians 4:7, “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Amen

Will You Be An Overcomer? by Myra Boozer

Revelation 12:10, “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

Will you be in that number? The number of Believers...the number of those who will overcome? Will you allow God to break everything unlike Him off your life? Will you allow every stronghold to crumble and fall at His feet? Will you surrender to His Voice as He calls for you to daily take up His cross?

Will you be in that number? The number of Believers...the number of those who will overcome? Will you listen to His Direction? Will you follow as He Commands? Will you wash your robes in righteousness and be ready for His Coming? His Coming is at hand! Will you be used in His perfect plan and Reign with Him in His Kingdom?

Then you must break loose from all the chains that bind you. You must seek a Power greater than yourself to deliver you from all the chains of addiction and distraction...To be set free for the awesome task to be the extension of His Arm of strength and deliverance. Be the extension of His loving heart...His kind and gentle spirit...His meek and lowly ways...His patience, slow to anger...His forgiving and accepting ways for those who ask forgiveness and even those who don't. Be the extension of His Righteous Judgment to bring counsel to those who have questions...

Can you be of good Courage even in your Garden of Gethsemane? Be strong in this Day of Adversity...Be not puffed up with pride and conceit when His Blessings come down like rain. Love your enemies when they say all manner of evil against you. Know you are of the Royal Family, yet love and help those who are living in the gutters of despair.

Lord, we are ever pressing to be like you. We seek to have a broken and contrite heart... allowing you to count us worthy and add us to that number...The number of Believers...The number of those who will overcome. The number who will be like YOU!

Jude 1:20, “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. 24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”

Recognize And Embrace The Work Of The Holy Spirit!

Luke 2:15, “And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. 16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. 17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. 18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. 20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.”

There are many voices claiming to speak for God. It is paramount that we learn to recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit and separate from the seducing spirits of this world. Although God uses human vessels to share His message, we must know God in an intimate relationship so He can speak directly to us.

We must recognize the element of revelation in our relationship with God. Recognize is “to know and remember because of previous knowledge or experience.” Our previous experience and knowledge will cause us to know and remember what God has spoken to us. Remember that “Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart,” while the rest of society just “wondered at those things which were told them,” Luke 2:18-19. Pondering is in the heart where wonder is in the mind.

There are so many in the church world who have a religious experience in their minds, where they need a revelation in their hearts. Our future and our survival will depend on the revelation of God's plan and embracing that plan in our hearts! Not only will we experience competing doctrines but Satan is unleashing all hell against the Truth. When you live Truth, the enemy will come after you. Only through Divine revelation and submission in the Holy Ghost can we know the TRUTH and remain FREE.

It's Time To Come Home!

In the book of Luke, chapter 15, a certain man had two sons. The youngest of them decided he wanted to go out and make his mark in the world. So he took his portion of his father’s goods and went away into a far country. There he wasted his inheritance in riotous living. “And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want,” Luke 15:14. He found himself living with pigs and no one would help him. However, it was while he suffered in those deplorable conditions that his sense of home returned to him. Luke 15:17, “And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father.”

In that terrible place and demeaning position he began to think about home and the pleasant memories of serving in his father's house. He came to his right senses saying, “I will arise and go to my father...” v17. His sense of guilt and remorse brought him to a state of repentance making him willing to be a servant in his father's house. He left his deplorable life and returned to his father. His father received him with open arms declaring, “...my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry,” v.24.

It’s time to come home! It doesn’t matter where you are or how deplorable your life. Your Heavenly Father loves you and stands waiting with His arms open ready to welcome you home. Come on home son or daughter! Your provision is in the Father’s house!

John 6:35, “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”

Living Water! by Myra Boozer

Lord, I sense your Life Giving Water is flowing so freely for all today...I see it sparkling in your light with beauty as it flows from your Throne...I can hear the sounds of freedom splash against the banks...It is calling one and all to come and drink and be filled with this rich and powerful Life Giving Source...

The call is going out to the stranger who has never seen or tasted of your True and Living Waters...Those whose god is Religion and not Salvation thru the Grace of Jesus Christ..Those who wonder thru this life and exist on mere fables and theories...

The call is to the prodigal who once tasted and thrived but then decided his own path... Who has forfeited the treasures of joy and peace, that only your waters can bring, because of a seemingly better way...

The call is to the stubborn who think they have no need of you...Those who think you don't exist and insist on denying you. They accept the counterfeit water offered by the worldly system...

The call is to the church goer who stands in the congregation weekly, offering up praise from a heart that doesn't know you personally...

The call is to the man or woman who stands behind the pulpit who has no real connection to Your Holy Spirit. Who just reads the words from their notes and tries to make it pertinent to those who are dying from rhetoric...

The call is to the husband or wife who has lost their love for their family because of lust and desire to be with someone that belongs to another...

The call is to the youth today, those who are searching for love and acceptance...Those who are desiring family and a home where love and Truth prevail...

The call is to the addicted, those who have sold their very soul to this trap and they can't get out...Freedom is available thru the precious blood of Jesus...

This call is to the congregation of people who attend services of programs and rituals that have replaced the Word of God being preached in the Spirit of Truth and Power of Your Resurrection.

This call is to those who have lost their passion for you Lord. Those who no longer desire to be in Your Presence and feast at your table...

This call is to the deceiver and the one who is striving so hard to convince someone else that Good is Evil and Evil is Good...

Lord I pray that those who have ears to hear will hear and not only hear the call but heed the call. Many souls are thirsty in a dry and desert land...But there is a River that flows from your Throne to fill all who will come and drink of Your Water...Only Jesus can give this gift that every soul desires...

Oh God! Break These Chains!

My cry is that God would put us in a place of remorse where we can identify with the utter hopelessness and struggle of the present human condition. Jesus looked upon the crowds that followed him and was moved with compassion because they were sheep without a shepherd. Help us Lord Jesus to look upon mankind with the same love, the same concern, the same intervention reflected in your example before us. The lost of the world are condemned to death and we can offer them the good news of Jesus' saving grace.

Joel's cry was to the elect, the chosen of God, His beloved. We must sound the alarm in Zion. Can we truly feel that we have obeyed God completely when there is such a great need in the Church? A need for our altars to be filled with saint and sinner alike seeking God for divine revelation and divine intervention. Haven't we realized by now that we cannot pilot this ship without Him? We need and must have a fresh wind of Holy Ghost power. We must return to Pentecost and receive anew the anointing power of the Holy Spirit. Then we can become actively engaged in the harvest of eternal souls.

Let us all cry out with the priests of God, "Spare the people, Oh Lord..." Joel's petition was to entreat God to deliver His people, not because they deserved it but for His own glory. Lord restore your reputation in your Church. Let it be said that the Lord of Glory dwells among His people.

God's presence among His people struck fear in the hearts of their enemies. They trembled in fear because they had learned that God secured the victory. They could not win against the Lord God of Israel. When Israel followed God they could not be defeated.

God's presence in the Church strikes fear in the heart of Satan. He trembles in fear in the presence of God. He is well acquainted with the power of almighty God. He knows when the Church follows God, we cannot be defeated. May God manifest Himself in us and through us. Through His abiding presence, we will throw off the encumbrances that have silently crept in. Throw off the doubt that has slipped in due to a lack of seeing His manifest presence in the Church. Break the chains of oppression that have gripped us due to the lack of freedom in the Holy Ghost. Throw off the cloud of ignorance that has anesthetized us because of the lack of hearing a fresh Word from the Lord. Wake us O' Lord to the full measure of your truth. We will not be content with only the similitude of truth. Baptize us in your TRUTH. Immerse us in the revelation of your person. Let us everyone put on the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

A New Day Dawning For The Child Of God! by Myra Boozer

Romans 8:22, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. 24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

The labor pains have begun. We will give birth by The Spirit, just like Mary. Travail is coming...but so is Joy...”Sorrow may last for the night but joy comes in the morning,” Psalm 30:5. As our world is in great transition for it's new world order...so are we, the Body, the Bride doing away with the old dead rituals bringing in the new.

There has always been a counterfeit for what God is doing and it's no different in the Last Days. Satan is working overtime with his evil and his ploy to destroy mankind with his “False Security” of a New World Order and a New Life.

Satan offers you freedom “to” sin. Dark and Corrupt sin is what's for sale at the" Table" of this new world order...utter darkness...no life and no hope. Millions are falling for this rainbow colored gift that is being offered at the “hands of this regime” of the evil One. Blood is dripping off their hands. They have no shame, no regrets, no regard for “life” and decency...no regard for the “living.” The innocent are a revelation to them of who they really are and they feel they must destroy them (the innocents)...to get rid of the holy and just (Christians)... just as they could not regard Jesus and sought to kill Him from the time of His birth. But the Father, God had a plan for His Son.

He has a plan for the Bride of Christ also. For She will bring in the “Real” New World Order as She offers Hope, Life, Joy and Peace at “The Table of Forgiveness.”

Which are you buying today? You still have a choice to receive Truth, or the counterfeit. Time Is running out. Submit to the one who offers real life, not just the facade or picture of life...but True Life where no evil abounds, where all is pure, holy and righteous.

You may say, "I'm not choosing!” You are choosing! Jesus gave the command to his brother from the cross. John 19:27, “Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.” The job for him was to behold their mother who represents all that’s innocent, pure and holy. Jesus is our elder brother...He has given us a command...the same command to us...to care, and to behold those who have fallen down under the burdens of this life...overcome by the taskmaster of Sin...who seems to have taken charge. But, not so! We need to behold them and tell them the “Real” new world order is coming through Jesus Christ. Be ready for in such an hour as you think not, the Son of Man cometh in righteousness to finish what His Father sent for Him to do. This Righteous Kingdom will rule and the false will go down and be destroyed in outer darkness.

The world seems to be always be in a tizzy about something on and on they go. But to major on the minors is a real distraction from what we need our focus to be on. What should we be concerned about TODAY?

Truth is a main issue that keeps getting twisted in lies and more lies. Some things just get swept under the rug while others continue to be proclaimed from the roof top. But the bottom line is we need for Truth to prevail. The more we seek Truth, the more we can recognize lies when they are presented.

There is so much deception in our world. Every one seems to have their own song and dance routine. They dance to a different beat. Sometimes that beat is unsure, not clear, just not accurate, but because it is their drum and their inspiration they continue to beat.

I say it is time for us to find the Master Conductor and fall at His feet, so that we may get the correct notes and play the sound that the world needs to hear. No, everyone does not play the same notes and sometimes everyone stops for that loud sound of the cymbal. But in the whole scope of a beautiful masterpiece of music, everyone follows the conductor.

No one should be alone to play what ever sound he desires to play. All are united to play what the Master says to play. Time to get alone with the Master and know what He wants from us. As the Church we need to be playing a beautiful symphony. That is not what we are hearing, but for every Child of God to listen to the Conductor it can happen quickly. I feel a change in the air for the people of God. I feel God is stirring hearts and bringing us into the unity of prayer. Prayer for repentance as a whole and prayer for the lost because our time is coming to a close. Our open window may be closing soon and there are still many who are not saved. It is time to pray! When we pray in fervency the windows of Heaven open and prayers will be answered. The Truth will be heard, souls will be saved, the work will be done and the Bridegroom will come for His Bride!  

God's Champion!

1 Samuel 17:40, “And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine...45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. 46This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand;...”

What is the significance of the smooth stones that David chose? The smooth stones were more aerodynamic. They would fly straight. David knew this not because he had studied physics at the University of Jerusalem. He knew this through his own practical experience with a slingshot. This was a tried and true weapon in the hands of a proficient champion. David used what he had in his hands. He used what he knew best, his faith in the Lord God of Israel and his slingshot. The combination of the two was a sure formula for victory.

What do we do when confronted by the enemy. Much like the armies of Israel when confronted by the Philistines and their champion, we stand motionless in fear at the very prospect of defeat. Thoughts of doubt and uncertainty flood our minds and cause us to lose heart. In our minds we are defeated already! And if that be our mind set, then we are defeated before we even engage the enemy. Let us be reminded of who we represent. We enter the plain of battle in the name of the same Lord God Jehovah that David represented. We have the same resources! Use what is in your hand and trust God!

God sent young David to the battlefield that day because He needed a champion and He had chosen David. He didn’t choose someone who would be measured as a warrior. The king’s armor would not fit this ruddy young lad but nevertheless, he was God’s champion. He left the field that day with a resounding victory because he gave himself into the hands of God.

The Body of Christ is facing its own spiritual giants. At the same time the Holy Spirit is raising up God’s champions to render the enemy helpless and deliver a resounding victory. We know how this will end. God will be the victor! But are we willing to answer God’s call and become His champion for His cause. David used what was familiar to him, his faith in God and his slingshot. He became a willing participant in God’s cause. Will you give yourself without reservation into the hands of God, become a willing participant in His cause. Remember the One we represent! We are covered by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is POWER in the NAME of JESUS! He will vanquish every foe and cause us to triumph over every evil plan of the enemy. Give yourself wholly into His hands and become His CHAMPION? Thanks be to God who gives us the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ!

YOUR LIGHT...

Lord, I get lost without your light shinning on my path.

I find I am alone and hopeless, fearful and afraid.

Your Light reveals my great need of you.

It warms my heart and fills my soul.

It opens my eyes and helps me see clearly.

It captures my interest and floods my mind.

It settles all my concerns and comforts my anxiety.

It rolls my cares right off my back.

It trills my heart and causes me to rejoice.

It opens my mouth to sing your Praise.

It drives me onward to face the new day

with peace, hope and love.

So I mount up, as with eagles wings...

And I soar, Yes I Soar... Because of your great Light!

Allow His Light to invade your world. He will change

your heart and bring HOPE into your circumstance...

There is a Light that forever shines...That Light brings

deliverance from all the darkness and sets you in a

position of high descent...

Declaration Of Freedom!

“In the morning when I rise, give me Jesus.” So goes the lyrics of one of my favorite songs. Jesus is my Beginning and He will be my End. He is my Sustainer and my Provider. Though I pass through this intense darkness, He is my Light and my Salvation. I may not know the next step to take but He is my Guide and gives me perfect peace in the turmoil. He will speak to this storm and declare “PEACE BE STILL.” He restores the strength of my soul and causes me to rise up on wings as an eagle. He makes me to soar high above the conflict in this world, separated from the struggle. He keeps me in the hallow of His hand and nothing can pluck me from His saving grace. That is the power of His abiding presence. Power to push back against the evil and darkness that has captured the innocence of life and destroyed so many precious souls. The power of His presence in me enables me to declare in the Name of Jesus, “YOU SHALL PROCEED NO FURTHER.” There is power in the Name of Jesus over all that comes against me. As He abides in me and I in Him, He will vanquish every foe and cause me to triumph over every evil plan of the enemy. Oh! Victory in Jesus, my Savior forever! He will keep me in perfect peace as my focus is on Him! That peace is my total Freedom Forever! Amen!

Put Jesus First! by Myra Boozer

We are told in the Word..."But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things will be added unto you," Matthew 6:33. You know "all these things" that we all pursue on a regular basis, jobs, so we can pay our bills, buy food, have shelter, and wear clothes. We all desire clean, organized homes with a great meal prepared for the family in the evening. Not to forget the beautiful lawn with flowers and a nice clean car to drive. Then there is entertainment and of course relaxation because we are exhausted by the end of the day. These things are not wrong but they can lead us on a collision course if we are not careful. We usually come to a quick STOP and then we cry out, "Lord, where are You?? "Come and come quickly because we are in great need of YOU. Yes Lord we need YOU, not tomorrow but right now.

I have heard people say, "God has GOT to do something" and do it quickly. But remember He is giving us the formula in Matthew 6:33. Even with following the formula, bad things can still happen to everyone but during those times we KNOW He is "working all things for our good" because we are His. We have not forgotten "that no weapon formed against us shall prosper." We hold to every promise in the book because they belong to us as God's Child.

I saw a post with someone speaking about giving ourselves an option...when you set your clock you can set it with the snooze control which gives you an option to either get up or lay there until the next alarm goes off. He said the Lord spoke to his heart and said, "as long as you have an option you will use it." But with God we do not need to think we have an option. It must be Jesus first and foremost in our lives. Our desire must be to Seek Him First. The other things will come. There are many times during the day to talk to the Lord. As you desire HIM, You will find ways to talk to him and about him. Carry a worshipful attitude in your heart all day long. I remember a dear saint telling me,"to pray without ceasing is to pray while you work." I want to be up and about my Father's business and I sure don't want to be snoozing when the trumpet sounds....

God SAVE America!

As I gaze out my window, I am reminded of how good and how great God is. The earth and all its beauty was created by Him. He spoke the words and all things were created. The glory of it all is incomprehensible except by the Spirit of God. He must open our eyes to the totality of all that He has placed in our world. Help us Lord to search and find. Help us to see all your beauty and glory. My mind, my heart, my spirit stands in awe of the wonder of His creation.

In contrast, the picture of this world is catastrophic. What man has done to the glory of God's creative masterpiece is a shame and disgrace. How can I sincerely ask God to bless this current state of affairs. I simply pray, God show us your love, show us your grace, show us your mercy. Just as the wind bends the mighty oak tree and its leaves and branches yield completely to the strength of the wind, may the Holy Spirit of God cause the world, the nations to bow in convicted repentance. God move us by your Holy Spirit to yield to your will and your way.

Today I am thinking especially of this nation, the United States of America. Since it's foundation, this nation has been blessed of God. He has nurtured and parented our precious democracy from its infancy. I am convinced that He has done so because of the principle of freedom to worship and follow God. In the beginning we were united as a nation under the principles of God's law with the freedom to serve Him according to the dictates of one's own heart.

That America does not exist anymore. It is only a memory passing swiftly into history. Rather than embracing the influence of God and the Bible in our governance, He has been banned. I believe that God has taken the hint. I think He has gotten the message that He is not wanted in America. So, He has left us to our own devices, creating our problems and finding our solutions. Therefore, as with all governance void of the influence of God, we are headed for a tragic end.

I am reminded of the Prophet Daniel in chapter 9 as he rehearsed before God, completion of Jeremiah’s prophesy of seventy years in desolation. He realized that they were coming to a time of change for the people of Israel. However, he also knew the importance of repentance before God. Therefore, he began to offer up prayers and supplications with fasting in sackcloth and ashes. He stated before God in Daniel 9:5, “We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: 6 Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land...8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee. 9To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;...18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.” His petitions were for mercy in the face of such blatant disregard for God’s Law. America’s only hope lies in our willingness to repent and return to the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Our only hope is for a move of God, a spiritual awakening, an igniting of Holy Ghost fire that will renew man’s desire to repent and follow God.

My prayer today is that the Holy Spirit would blow upon this nation and as the wind moves the mighty oak, that Americans as one collective body would bow low in convicted repentance. I ask God to break the obstinate rebellion that has seized the mind, heart and soul of so many. Bring America to her knees once again for it is there that we will find our true purpose in God's plan. God SAVE America.

Disturbed! by Myra Boozer

DISTURBED from a dream last night...This is the dream in part...A young man went up to the Pastor for prayer. He was desperate, crying and needing the Pastor to pray with him. I was standing near in the choir and I felt such compassion. As I got close I heard the Pastor say, as he was agreeing with the young man about his need, that what he (Pastor) needed was for him to bring his equipment over and build a playground for the children there on the church property. He actually took the young man down the aisle. I saw the front doors open wide and the sunlight coming into the church as he was showing him where to begin on the church property. I got back in place in the choir and we sang from the depths of our heart. I saw a lady and her baby, both with light blue hair which represents this present culture. She looked at me with that “I made it look.” Another lady in the choir turned and gave me a hug, maybe because I had influenced the young mother to come to church. All seemed to be worshiping and enjoying the presence of the Lord.

What????? This is not the way it is suppose to be. Does the Church make people believe that works is the way to heaven? There may be too much emphasis on "What can YOU Do for the Church instead of What can the CHURCH do for you." Matt. 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

I am feeling broken for the lack of teaching "true repentance" coming from many churches today. Yes, I agree people need to get "involved " in what is going on in the church. But that is not what comes first. People are hurting, struggling, dying from the sin that has almost destroyed their lives and the lives of their family. To add "WORKS" on top all the pressure and stress to a life that is hanging by a thread is spiritual murder. God help us to get it right!

True repentance is a state of brokenness, a time of realizing that without God there is NO help from anywhere. It is a time of actually seeing or realizing one's sin and being sorry and remorseful of one's actions and deeds. A time of emptying all the regrets with a sorrowful attitude. This is exactly what the young man was experiencing in my dream. BUT, he was lead away from that feeling into one of “leave this place of repentance and see what you can do for the church.”

I Peter 4:17 "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" I believe that judgment will be as it says in Revelation chapters 1-3 that unless the churches repent Jesus said "I will come and remove the candlestick out of his place, except thou repent," Rev. 2:5. He is talking to the Church of God. I believe many are going on with services today and the Lord may have removed the candlestick. Judgement has begun. I pray it isn't too late for repentance. Seek God for a Divine Encounter today. Otherwise it is only an expression of religious habit...

The Soul Cries Out For Truth! by Myra Boozer

May those that are spiritually hungry rise up and say so…

May they call out to the teachers, preachers, the elders,

the Body of Christ...the Church.

May they tell them they are looking for a refuge, a half-way

house until they get HOME...

May they tell them the decor and the newest electronics

are not in their interest.

May they tell them it is the Fresh Bread that brings

Life and Hope.

It isn't found in the steeple or the pews... Neither is it

found in the technology of the service, but in the TRUTH

OF GOD'S WORD...the Spirit, the life giving transformation.

It is found in the revelation of Jesus and His love for their

cries, for their struggles and heartaches.

The world is heartless, cold and cruel...

They don't need to become another face in the crowd,

overlooked and forsaken.

The hungry need to be fed...

"Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind: Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock," I Peter 5:2-3.

God Fulfills His Promises!

Acts 27:27, “But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down...29Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day. 30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship, 31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved. 32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.” 

They must remain in the ship and continue to exhibit faith in the revelation of the man of God. God's plan of deliverance included the debris of the broken vessel, the vessel that had sustained them thus far. But they had to be willing to stay with the ship until she literally broke apart on the rocks. Those broken pieces became their salvation. When our circumstances are falling apart, we must stay true and obedient to God’s command in order to be saved.

Acts 27:33, “...Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. 34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you...36 Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat. 37 And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls. 38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.” 

The fast was concluded. They could take comfort that all would be saved and they were all (276) of good cheer. They continued in faith and obedience as they threw everything overboard to lighten the ship. They had done what they knew to do. Now was the time to allow God to bring the end to their storm. They took up the anchors and committed to the sea. Completely free of all encumbrances, completely sustained by the wind of God.

Acts 27:41, “And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves...43 the centurion...commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land: 44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.” 

God's process will run its course and in the end, His purpose is secured. How many times in our own lives have we survived on the broken pieces of our ship? The storms have been strong and the struggle bitter but we have stayed with God and our end is secured!

An Open Window! by Myra Boozer

Many are talking about the reprieve that we in America have been given..A short window, the interval during which something can be done, in this case, concerning our freedom of religion and speech...It is because of the newly elected President who is pushing for Christian rights...No one knows how long this window will be open...It's not a pretty picture because evil raises its ugly head when the Word of God is spoken, through the reading or quoting of the Bible...or sung by an anointed ambassador of Jesus Christ.

When hearts are touched and tears are shed, when wrongs are made right and the paths are made straight the enemy gets MAD... Angry enough to destroy property and set fires, to curse and talk of bombings, to pull innocent people into their arena and plunder this country with filthy talk and posters... Degrading this country by declaring the right to take innocent lives... to adamantly go against the Laws of God and push their agenda to be free to commit murder.

Some are saying time for actions from the Christians. Our actions must come from our Commander n Chief. His Word tells us that the Battle is the Lord's...We are only to be ready with our armor in place...Ready to Stand and be the Standard that the Lord himself will raise up against this flood of the enemy..

We are to sanctify (to make free from sin) ourselves by submitting ourselves unto God...so God can use us in the last day's Harvest of souls. We must be fueled by the fire of the Holy Spirit and armed with the Word of God. Loving the sinner but hating the sin...Becoming the Light on the hill for all to see Jesus...We know how this all ends...Good will win...Truth will prevail over evil...Justice will be served BUT those not repentant will be doomed...So the battle cry is to stand in the power of HIS might and speak HIS Truth...Don't seek revenge because vengeance is mine saith the Lord...Souls are at stake and we must be wise during this hour to proclaim the word of God. According to the book of Acts, we need to give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word...As God shut the window in the Ark...He will shut this window and no man will be able to open it...Time to get READY...

Are You Ready To Engage The Enemy?

1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”

The devil is as a wild animal going about seeking to devour. He is attempting to destroy everything and everyone associated with God. The spirit of Antichrist is becoming stronger as each day passes. The verdict of the world community is the destruction of everything affiliated with Jesus Christ. This is the rise of the last days influence of Satan setting the stage for the beast in the prophecy of Daniel in the Old Testament and in the prophecy of John in the book of Revelation.

This is not a new conflict. The forces of good and evil have been embroiled in battle since Lucifer's original rebellion in heaven. God could not allow him to continue in his angelic role in his rebellious state. Therefore, he was cast out of heaven and became the prince of darkness, ruler of the darkness of this world. Consequently, all humanity has been thrust into the midst of this ageless conflict beginning with original man and affecting every generation since.

The conflict has manifest itself through the centuries with an ebb and flow of severity. However, the consequences of the conflict can be directly related to the rebellion of man against the laws and sovereignty of God. Although times of evil and darkness have gripped the earth in centuries past, the grand finale is still to come. Satan is preparing for his last stand. He knows his end and will do everything in his power to destroy all he can. He has targeted world governments, world leaders, Christian leaders, Christian churches, families and individual Christians. His goal is to destroy God’s order and control. He wants to create total chaos.

We find ourselves fully engaged in this timeless struggle. Paul stated in Ephesians 6:12 that we are fighting a warfare in the spiritual realm, against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We are fighting for our very lives, our children, grandchildren, friends, neighbors and as many as our Lord God shall call. But we know how the story ends and that is our hope. God did not allow the original rebellion to go unpunished and He will address it again in the end.

The course of human history is directly related to the willingness of mankind to seek after and follow the sovereign will of God. We can make that observation in relation to the current state of human affairs. In recent years we have seen a digression from Biblical morals and values and a more rapid deviation from Biblical principles in the past decade. This behavior is progressing swiftly and has brought us to where we are as a world community and as a nation. The consequences of rebellion will rule eternity. How we respond to the voice of God will determine our future and the future of all who will hear us. Sound the alarm!!!

The stage is set for Satan's last stand. The spirit of Antichrist is moving all the players into their positions. Demonic powers are running rampant. The world population is following the deception like sheep to the slaughter. Because the nations have rejected the influence of the Gospel and the work of the Holy Spirit, God has left them to their own devices to the destruction of their societal structure.

There are few voices to warn the nations when “danger” should be shouted from every mountain top. God is preparing the whole world for the last phase. The last phase will be the “new world order,” or “one world order.” The spirit of Antichrist is energized by the spirit of darkness. We know from Scripture that Satan’s goal is one world government and one world religion.

Individual liberties are being destroyed and control relegated to the powers that be...governments, local, state, national and international. The stage is set and the players are moving into place. We can not change what is coming, only our response to it. The sin of the world hastens the coming judgment. Let the watchman on the wall cry aloud as the enemy approaches. In doing so he will save himself and all that will hear him. 

Worship God In Everyday Life! by Myra Boozer

Are you loving on the Lord with your Worship? I once heard someone say that she lived a life of Worship, that in everything she did she worshiped the Lord. Sounds wonderful and that is the way I want to live. Lord let my life be a life filled with worship, not that I am standing on the rooftop praising you all day but in my everyday routine. I want the things I say and do to be acceptable unto YOU. If they happen not to be, Lord may you pull me into subjection by the Holy Spirit. Let me be quick to earnestly say," I am sorry" and be convicted of my error.

I want the joy of the Lord to rule my life. Yes, sometimes I hurt and sometimes I cry but I have a joy that is deeper than those things that affect me. My joy is in knowing that I serve a God who is bigger than all my pain and all my struggles. He is stronger than any storm that pushes its way into my world. He is the ONE my hopes are built upon. There is nothing that I can do or think of that brings me more contentment than knowing He loves me, knowing that He has all my hopes and dreams in His hands. That He is returning one day for me and my family (those who love Him and have committed everything to Him).

This world of great fame and riches will one day humbly bow down at His feet and confess" JESUS IS LORD." Those who have been too busy with getting all they could from this life instead of living a life of worship will be so very troubled and distraught. All that has been accumulated, houses, land, silver and gold will all melt away, leaving them emotionally bankrupt and defeated. But this understanding that I have with my Lord will continue to hold me and carry me from this ole world to my new Home, He has gone to prepare. "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN, AND RECEIVE YOU UNTO MYSELF; that where I am, there ye may be also," John 14:2-3.

Remember, God desires to receive glory from the life we live EVERYDAY not just on SUNDAY or when someone is watching.

A Mighty Wind!

It was a hot summer morning in mid August in the South. You could say that it was a typical day for the season, high humidity with little to no wind. I went about my business without really giving attention to these details but that was about to change.

I stood in quiet solitude and listened to the trees leaves as they began to respond to a slight breeze. It was as though they were individual instruments in a grand symphony, the pitch and tempo rising and falling but in perfect harmony, each separate but still in sync.
The wind was slight at first, barely noticeable except for the song the leaves sang. I began to feel the cool wind as it caressed my face and hair. The sensation grew in intensity! The wind blew stronger and then subsided. It came in pulsating burst, strong enough to take the hat from my head and then at rest.

I observed and felt this scenario repeated for several moments. And then, a voice spoke into my spirit, “a rushing might wind.” Yes Lord, I know it is You and I hear what You are saying! Our Lord, Jesus Christ wants to reveal Himself through the Holy Ghost to change our world. His desire is to fill you and me with the Holy Ghost, endue with power (His Power) from on high, and turn our world upside down. He wants the world to acknowledge His presence in us.

Jesus’ instructions to His disciples had been to go to Jerusalem and tarry (pray) until the Holy Ghost comes. Luke 24:49, “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” The Holy Ghost is the power part of our commission to spread the Gospel message. Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Jesus fulfilled His promise in Acts 2:1, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” The presence of the Holy Ghost was “a rushing mighty wind.” That is the way Christ wants to affect our world today. This rushing mighty wind of God changed the world in the lifetime of those very disciples.

In Acts 17, the Gospel message had met with tremendous opposition. The messengers of the Gospel put their lives at stake. The unbelieving Jews of Thessalonica were so indifferent to the Gospel that they sought to take Paul and Silas and give them to the angry crowd. Acts 17:6, “And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;” The unbelievers were compelled to declare that these Christians had turned the world upside down and had come to their city to do the same.

I would to God that it could be said of this generation of Christians, they have turned the world upside down for Jesus Christ. However, if we are to be instruments of this harvest, we must be endued with power. It will take being filled with the Holy Ghost, “the rushing mighty wind,” to fulfill Jesus’ commission and finish our mission in these last days. Only the power of the Holy Ghost can seal and protect us from the darkness and evil that has flooded this world. The Holy Ghost in us will make us victorious in this spiritual war. Lord, send Your “mighty rushing wind” upon us and in us. We do here and now petition to be filled again and again with the Holy Ghost until there is no room for anything else. Fill us Full!
