It Is Time!

Many voices in the Church are calling the Body of Christ to Prayer. Today, we stand at the portal of one of the greatest times in human history. We dare not move forward without full understanding of the gravity of our response to the call of God and the effect of that response upon ourselves and all that our lives might touch. Our future will be defined by what we do in that moment of our choice.

Many have been praying long before the presidential election and before the inauguration of the 45th President of the United States. Those prayers have brought us to where we are now. But we can't stop the prayer meetings. After 9/11 we had an opportunity to seek God and turn this nation around. But the praying didn't last. After only a few weeks we drifted back to business a usual. We cannot afford to take for granted the opportunity God is giving us. This is our last chance as a nation. Pray Church Pray like our lives depend on it. Because they do!

Can we pray? Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, we do here and now accept your challenge to pray in travailing prayer for our world that is lost and broken. We desire the Spirit of prayer to intercede. Open our spiritual eyes and ears so we can see and hear the cries of the lost, the beaten and the infirmed. Teach us to understand what they are facing. Guide us to see and hear them as you do. Give us the compassion and love that you have for them so that we are inspired to join in their redemption. Lift us up in the power of Your Word being fully dressed in faith to lead the captives free. Anoint us with your power that we may speak to the mountains before us and they will be moved into the sea. Let us see the prison doors spring open at the mighty thrust of Your Presence. Help us to run into the battle with such passion that others are seized with the same fervor. I can hear the sound of mighty armies engaged on the battlefield. Can we pray? Can we go? (continued)

An Open Window! by Myra Boozer

Many are talking about the reprieve that we in America have been given..A short window, the interval during which something can be done, in this case, concerning our freedom of religion and speech...It is because of the newly elected President who is pushing for Christian rights...No one knows how long this window will be open...It's not a pretty picture because evil raises its ugly head when the Word of God is spoken, through the reading or quoting of the Bible...or sung by an anointed ambassador of Jesus Christ.

When hearts are touched and tears are shed, when wrongs are made right and the paths are made straight the enemy gets MAD... Angry enough to destroy property and set fires, to curse and talk of bombings, to pull innocent people into their arena and plunder this country with filthy talk and posters... Degrading this country by declaring the right to take innocent lives... to adamantly go against the Laws of God and push their agenda to be free to commit murder.

Some are saying time for actions from the Christians. Our actions must come from our Commander n Chief. His Word tells us that the Battle is the Lord's...We are only to be ready with our armor in place...Ready to Stand and be the Standard that the Lord himself will raise up against this flood of the enemy.

We are to sanctify (to make free from sin) ourselves by submitting ourselves unto God...so God can use us in the last day's Harvest of souls. We must be fueled by the fire of the Holy Spirit and armed with the Word of God. Loving the sinner but hating the sin...Becoming the Light on the hill for all to see Jesus...We know how this all ends...Good will win...Truth will prevail over evil...Justice will be served BUT those not repentant will be doomed...So the battle cry is to stand in the power of HIS might and speak HIS Truth...Don't seek revenge because vengeance is mine saith the Lord...Souls are at stake and we must be wise during this hour to proclaim the word of God. According to the book of Acts, we need to give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word...As God shut the door in the Ark...He will shut this window and no man will be able to open it...Time to get READY...

Jesus Is Our Standard!

Ephesians 4:13, “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”

A bench mark is something that serves as a standard by which others may be measured or judged. Jesus is our bench mark. He is our base line. He is our standard for living. We must go to Him every day to put our lives and all things in them into proper focus. We must begin in Him and with Him. It is there that we receive insight and instruction for our assignment. It is there that we receive spiritual strength and motivation for the mission ahead. We should not attempt to move forward without His guidance and anointing. He prepares the table before us in the presence of the enemy. We shall eat and drink from His table and prevail before our enemy. Jesus is our strength and our victory. He leads us beside the still waters and restores our soul. He is our source, our strength, our redeemer and in Him we can trust today and every day as Christ Jesus, our Lord. Thank you God for the assurance that only you can give!

Jesus is our bench mark. He established His position in Gethsemane. He came to die but all flesh is appointed to death. But in Gethsemane, Jesus submitted to death. He chose to die as the Son of man to prove that He is the Son of God. The fleshly man would die but the Spirit man would live on. That is what happens when we meet Jesus at the cross. We submit to death. We choose death to the fleshly man so the Spirit man can live on. But, we must go through our Gethsemane to get there. We must come to the end of ourselves and allow Christ to take charge of our lives. We are literally consenting to the death of the flesh that we can experience life in the Spirit through Christ. Gal. 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Jesus is my standard!

Stand Strong In The Word! by Myra Boozer

Matthew 4:4, “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

Are you standing against every argument that raises itself against the Word of God?

Many are the imaginations and arguments that come into your mind...telling you...all the negative...telling you just what Satan would have you to believe. You MUST stand against those arguments because God's Word is TRUTH. It is the compelling force behind everything that is pure and holy, righteous and true. It is your weapon to fight the enemy of your mind.

2 Corinthians 10:5, "Casting down imaginations, and EVERY high thing that exalteth itself against the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD, and bringing into captivity EVERY thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to REVENGE all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled."

Sing Your Song Of Deliverance! by Myra Boozer

When you feel caught and destined to die in a trap that Satan has laid out before you, call to remembrance some people from the Bible...Joseph was rejected by his own brothers, thrown in a well...sold as a slave. Paul was shipwrecked and so much more...Daniel was thrown in a Den of Lions...Job lost everything including his health and his family...But each of these had songs of Deliverance to sing in the end. You can also if you choose!

A trap or a pit of despair can seem like eternity. When you feel forsaken, lonely, depressed, financially stripped, sick and even at death's door as these men were, what do you do? What did they do? They called out to their God and trusted in Him to deliver them.

You must not look at your circumstances but look straight up from your pit and cry out to the Lord your God. I pray you will see the Light and the Angel of the Lord will be your Deliverer!

Most of us would do anything to avoid life's test and trials, especially the temptations set before us because of our own lust. But they still happen and we have the choice to remain caught or be set free by the delivering power of God. God will always bring good out of the hard times when we endure and trust in Him...

Acknowledge your fleshly desires and the sin that has beset you and repent. Give all your pain to God and confess your hurt, the resentment, and the anger. Allow God to help you to forgive those involved in your hurt and receive God's forgiveness and His love for you...

Remember He cares! He loves you and He will stay close during your healing process as long as it takes. He is never far, always near. Soon you'll be ready for the great finale...So sing your Song of Deliverance and Freedom!

Take Me To The King!

It is expedient that we have the constant nurture and admonition of the Lord in our lives. We must have a fresh Word from the throne of God to empower and direct in our struggles today. We need an infusion of His power and might into our present conquest. We must have the presence of the Holy Spirit to provide wisdom and courage for today’s decisions.

How shall we proceed? What are the solutions to the problems we currently face and the issues we will face in the future? We must look to the Lord Jesus Christ to receive the direction we so desperately need! The Bible tells us to come boldly to the throne of grace and make our petitions known to God through our mediator, Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 4:14, “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

How can we come boldly before the throne of God? Because Jesus is our Advocate and is pleading our case to the Father. He is our “great high priest” and continually makes intercession for us by the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:26, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” Even when we don’t know how to pray, the Spirit prays for us according to the will of God.

How do we know that God cares? Because our “great high priest” feels our pain! Jesus left His throne in glory, came to earth in the form of man, was tested in every way we could ever be tested and did so without sin. He understands our human condition and is moved with compassion “with the feelings of our infirmities.”

How can we trust the promise God has made us? Because of who He is! Psalm 24:1,”The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. 3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. 7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. 9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.”

Take me to the King of glory that I may trust Him with all my heart, that I may not depend upon my own knowledge and ability. Lord, may I always acknowledge you and allow you to lead me.

Die To "Your" Dreams! by Myra Boozer

When you die to your dreams you actually give up and let go of all the thoughts and ambitions that your mind has conjured up. You package them up with a big bow and send them across the way...Never to be called forth again.

When you do this you're giving your life over into the hands of your creator. It seems a bit risky but it really isn't because He knows what is best and he knows the future.

He see's your talents and abilities. He knows your skills for He is the one who gave them to you. He knows your likes and all your dislikes.

He feels all your heart cries for love and acceptance. He knows what will make you grow in Him and in the plans He has for you. He knows who will drag you down and bring defeat into your life.

He also knows who will build you up and encourage you to be all you can be for His Divine Purpose and His Kingdom. He has a perfect plan. He is longing to share this with you, but first you must rid yourself from all the things that distract and confuse you. Those things that bind you and will eventually destroy you.

He desires that you are free and trusting of His great love, yielding your life into His Hands, Submitting yourself under His Authority and declaring all is well with your soul.

As you release "your will" and your plans for your life to Him, He will open His treasures to you...His ever abiding love that covers all of your days. He will walk and talk with you directing your steps as you follow Him. There must be no deviation from His perfect plan. Seek Him as you would seek a great treasure hidden in the field...
