Return To The Source Of Your Life!

John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

In the beginning, God was! Before anything, God was and He created all things including you and me. I feel that He is pulling us back to Himself as in 1 John 1:1, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;” He has been with us from the beginning of this journey and He wants us to understand that it is through Him that we will finish. There is no other power, presence or virtue sufficient to complete our assignment. He will magnify our efforts and ministry as He receives the honor and glory for the results.

The Holy Spirit is calling, “come wrap yourself in the power of His presence and allow Him to perform in you His glorious works!” I am weak but He is strong. If we allow Him to fully control our lives, we are made strong in our weakness because our weakness is God's strength. There is no enemy that can stand against Him, there is no foe that He cannot overcome. There is no fortress that can withstand Him and no opposition that He cannot vanquish.

Come, come to Him now. No! Run, run to Him now and allow him to wrap you in His mantle of authority and shelter you from the storms ahead. I hear the rumbling in the distance, the sound of a mighty army moving into position. It is a well prepared force, each warrior is in his place and prepared to do his duty. There is no fear in their number because they have been washed clean. Though their sins were as crimson, their raiment is white as snow. And there is one with them whose name no one can know except that His eyes are a flaming fire and He is clothed with a vesture dipped in blood and His name is the Word of God. Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword to smite the nations and rule them with the rod of Truth and He tramples the wine-press of the wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His garment and on His thigh written the name, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. At His appearing, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that JESUS IS LORD!

The World Must Hear God's Truth! by Myra Boozer

Why do many churches compromise, neglect, forget and even reject the Bible standard? They didn't start out that way...but little by little the compromise began...slowly the TRUTH was neglected and forgotten until in many cases, completely REJECTED.

It truly breaks my heart to see so many falling away from THE TRUTH that was once delivered to the saints. This is a prominent SIGN of the last days. Many are following those who crept in unaware and diluted, watered down the teachings of Jesus Christ. Those who changed the meaning of what the Word actually says to fit their own lustful desires. Innocent people in search of TRUTH will blindly follow those who are ungodly, unholy, unrighteous, those speaking lies and taking advantage of people. We are warned in the Word to be aware of such people and have no part with them.

2 Peter chapter 2 speaks of these false prophets. People deserve TRUTH! TRUTH should be prevalent in every church preaching Jesus Christ because He said, “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE,” John 24:6. Be aware...it is NOT being taught! People have followed their own ways and still operate under the guise of being "Christian” churches.

BUT know this, we have the WORD OF GOD! Get into the WORD! Study and know for yourself what God expects from you. Turn your life over to him, seek Him until you are filled with His Spirit. It takes His Spirit to understand His Word. Then listen to His voice. In all your ways acknowledge HIM, obey HIM. He said He would direct your paths and lead you in TRUTH...World Must Hear God’s Truth!

Where Is Truth And Justice! Conclusion

We face a difficult time ahead as political leaders jockey for position, power, and influence. For the most part, it is all a lot of noise like a sporting event. Each side supports and vehemently defends their team and believe it doesn't matter about the process so long as their team wins. But it really does matter how we play the game. The game builds character and integrity which embrace truth, justice, and judgment. If the process fails to yield these attributes, how can we expect a government to lead in truth and justice? It is not what we say but what we do that defines us as a person and as a nation.

Truth and justice lay abandoned in the street, discarded as refuse in the gutter. What happened to the greater good of all men, rather than the selfish and ambitious views of a particular political party or social group? What happened to the preference of others and their needs over the narrow constricted view of what we want? A self-focused mentality has invaded and captured our conscious resolution and thereby affects everything we say and do.

In Isaiah 59:9-21, Isaiah gives a litany of sins for which Israel needs a redeemer. He observes that judgment, justice, and truth are qualities absent from the life of Israel. Because there was no qualified mediator, God would provide salvation through the coming kinsman Redeemer. This salvation is in Jesus Christ whom they rejected at the First Advent. But, God promises that He will forgive their sins and restore them in covenant relationship in the end.

Isaiah 59:20, “And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD. 21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.”

...And unto them that turn from transgression...” is a provision of God’s covenant and will be implemented through repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as the Messiah. That will happen to a remnant of Israel in the end.

However, the call of God to all of humanity is to repent and return to God. Any people who expect the favor and covering of God must approach Him in repentance and follow in obedience. One of the greatest judgments that God brought against Israel was their failure to uphold “truth and justice.” That principle is just as relevant to our country and our world today. If God brought the leadership of Israel to judgment because of their lack of truth and justice, He will do the same for every succeeding generation.

We must have the intervention of God in the days and weeks ahead. “Let us fall prostrate before Him in brokenness and contrition, casting all care upon Him, and believing for His Divine and perfect will. And let His perfect will be exercised in me.” Amen.

As He Said! by Myra Boozer

Matthew 28:6, "And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said, Come, see the place where the Lord lay."

No, He is not here! But, He is coming to take us where He is, that we may be there also. This is only possible because of His Death and Resurrection.

Jesus paid the ultimate price for us to be with Him. We must desire to be with Him as much as He desires to be with us. It will take some sacrifice on our part. We must lay ourselves at his feet, surrendered to His will and to His ways. We should be always looking to Him for our direction, believing in the Words He has spoken and trusting in His plan for our life.

Remember the words He spoke about "watching and waiting." Matthew 24:44, "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."

He is Alive! He is risen! He is Coming Soon!

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go I will come again and receive you, unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also," Luke 14:1-3.

Are You Listening?

Matthew 13:13, “Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 17For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.”

Jesus spoke to His generation in parables to better illustrate the Godly principles pertaining to the Kingdom of God. The religious leaders of Israel would not embrace these teachings which were the literal Word from God. They were learned men of the Scripture and should have made the connection between the prophecies of Messiah and His coming. They could have received the Gospel but chose to hang on to a dead religion. Their unwillingness to hear the Living Word of God doomed them to eternal fire.

God is speaking to this generation. He is anointing His messengers to bring His Word to His people. God has so much He wants to tell us. He wants to prepare us for what is just ahead but many cannot hear. Why can they not hear? They hear the words, only the words! The Gospel is being preached! The Holy Ghost is warning of end time events! But they are listening with their ears. Jesus said, they have eyes to see but cannot see, they have ears to hear but cannot hear. Just as that generation who heard the message of Jesus, rejected the truth of the Gospel, there are many who will hear this message and reject it. What happened to that generation? They missed their opportunity for salvation and deliverance by their Messiah because their religion closed their spiritual eyes and ears. I fear that there are some today who will miss this great opportunity to see the unrestrained revelation of the rapturing Jesus because their religion has closed their eyes and ears to the Truth. Jesus is coming and soon. Are you ready? If not, get ready and stay ready! Matthew 24:44, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” Are You Listening?

My Lion Of Judah! by Myra Boozer

Oh Father, not of myself, no good thing have I done to deserve you. You are what is Good in my life! You are my Bright and Morning Star! You shine brightly even when the clouds are gray and the sun doesn't shine, when the storm clouds gather and the wind is howling.

I am settled in the fact that you are here with me even when I don't feel you or see you. I feel the great assurance of your presence.

Forever you reign and forever your love trails after me. Your heart beats inside of me, sometimes like a drum from the Islands.

The songs of jubilation and redemption come upon me like the rushing sounds of a great waterfall. My heart is made glad about such splendor. The sounds of Victory and Deliverance are mighty.

Like David of old, I sing a new song!

You will defeat the enemy, the one who is sly as a fox. You know where he lives and you have a mandate to capture and defeat him. Forever, he will be under your control, defeated and destroyed!

You, Lord, are the Lion of Judah and You Reign Forever!

We Serve A Risen Savior!

Matt. 28:6, “He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
Lyrics – I Serve a Risen Savior
He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way.
He lives, He lives, salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know He lives?
He lives within my heart.

We serve a risen Savior. This is the central foundation stone of the Christian faith. It has present day and eternal implications.

Why is it important in our daily walk to understand that Jesus is alive. As our living Savior, “He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way.” The lines between reality and spirit often become blurred by our daily struggles! Jesus walks with us and we need spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear what He has to show us and what He has to say. How many times in our struggle to discern the leadership of the Spirit are we overwhelmed by circumstances which obscure our vision of the Truth and interferes with our perception of God's revelation for us? We cannot afford to be so consumed with circumstances that we allow the enemy to steal the promises that God has given us. We must always be aware that Christ is ever present with us.

In Luke 24 we have an example where Jesus was present with His disciples but they failed to recognize Him. Luke 24:13-16. In this passage, Jesus joined and began talking to two of His disciples as they journeyed on the road to Emmaus. They were expressing their concerns about the events surrounding Jesus' death. They had expected that He would be the one who would deliver Israel from the demeaning oppression of Roman domination and become the new King of Israel. Luke 24:21, “But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.” Their hopes and dreams of a redeemed Israel had been destroyed when Jesus was taken and ultimately killed. Now, to add insult to injury, someone had stolen His body. v.23

Luke 24:25-27. The prophets had written in specific detail about the coming Messiah, His suffering, and His sacrifice. But, the loss that these disciples had experienced blotted out their vision of God's promises. As they sat together to partake of the evening meal, Jesus broke the bread and blessed it. Immediately their eyes were opened and they realized that it had been Jesus walking with them. v31 Then, He vanished from their presence. They had been entertaining the HOPE of their lives, their Deliverer, their Salvation, their Miracle restored to life! However, they did not realize that they were walking with the Risen Christ until He opened their spiritual eyes.

It is possible that we stand in the presence of our HOPE for life's journey without realizing it? Jesus walks with His disciples. He is our SALVATION, our DELIVERANCE, our MIRACLE and is presently walking with us! But can we see Him? Can we hear what He is saying? The WAY out, the DOOR is open but our spiritual vision is obscured by the circumstances. We see only what is visible to the natural eyes when Jesus is orchestrating His plan in the spiritual realm. Lord, open the eyes of our HEART that we may hear You and see what You are doing in us. Help us to know that we do not walk this path alone and that You are with us in each and every step we take. Thank you, Jesus. You are our faithful companion! We Serve A Risen Savior!
