Power In Jesus' Name!

John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

There is power in the name of Jesus! There is power to break every chain. There is power to live for Christ and walk in unbridled victory. There is freedom to flow in His Spirit and experience His presence from glory to glory. He leads us up, higher and higher into His Majesty. For having been exposed to His glorious Light we will never be the same. We are changed in His presence. We can never be the same once His glory has shown upon us. We are changed forever and He has planted such a desire to reach higher. His presence is so addictive that no sooner than you walk away, you have an unquenchable need to return. And we can return again and again. There is no limit as to the glory we can experience in His presence. Simply come to Him in obedience and submission and He will carry you to heights previously unknown. He will reveal to you truths you haven't understood and emotions you've never experienced. But most of all He will reveal Himself to you and through you so that the world around you can see Him and be touched by Him, “that the father may be glorified in the Son.”

Yes, it is time to pray! Pray in the power of Jesus’ name and unleash the power of glory. Put your faith in Him and watch what He will do in your life. At the mention of His name every power in the universe must bow in humble submission. Philippians 2:9, “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Many Are Called But Few Are Chosen! by Myra Boozer

God is looking for an Army and many are satisfied to be Cheerleaders...Go God Go! Yes, Lord yes! You can do it God!

Or Go Pastor Go! You can do it Pastor! But God is saying to us “Go Mighty Army...Yes Church Yes! You can do it Church! I left the work for you to accomplish...Get into my Word and the path will be clear. I didn't leave without giving you instructions and directions for the task at hand...The Harvest is Great, the time is short, the laborers are few and many are weak...Take strength in my Power.. I alone am the Power Source... don't look to yourselves.”

Sing the Battle Song, sing it loud and strong! "Like a Mighty Army moves the church of God"..."Onward Christian Soldiers marching as to war with the cross of Jesus going on before..."

Arise take up your cross...only those in the heat of the Battle are God’s true Warriors. Don't be a traitor, don't lay your armor down. The enemy is far too close, you will not be spared. Time is swiftly passing, the end is getting near. Those that slumber and sleep will be left behind. Awake Church! The Army of God has a destiny...an appointed end.

The Wedding Supper is already in the making, the halls are lined with banners and the Heavenly Host is getting in tune. The flowers are on the table and the candles are being lit, the music is swelling and the Bridegroom is ready, waiting for His Father to give the command, “Go and bring my children home.”

In my prayer time sometime back I asked the Lord, "When are you coming?” In my heart I heard, "Coming soon...not yet...I am going to call all I have chosen.” Matthew 22:14, " For many are called but few are chosen.”

It Is Time To Pray! Part 6

Remember, Satan is caught in the trap of his own deceit which separates him from the reality of God's plan. The reality begins at the cross. The reality is that the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin and delivers us from the power of sin. 1 John 1:7, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” Romans 8:2, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Therefore the blood of Jesus delivers us from the power of Satan's influence over this mortal body.

The reality is that the tomb could not imprison the Son of God. The power of the Holy Ghost raised Him up exercising the power of God over death, hell and the grave. Thereby we are heirs of the same promise and have inherited the hope of eternal life. The reality is that Jesus ascended to the Father but not before giving a commission to the Church. Matthew 28:18, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

The reality is that He did not leave us powerless but sent the gift of the Holy Ghost to take His place. Acts 1:6, “When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” The reality is that Jesus has given us power and authority to go into the Satan’s domain and take back what the enemy has taken from us. He is a thief and comes to kill, steal and destroy. But Jesus has overcome him and so can we.

The reality is that He is coming again soon. Matt. 28:9, “And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”

We have read the end of the Book and know how this ends. Matthew 28:9-11 is our Promise! Our Hope is Revelation 20:10, “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” The dominion of sin and death will be no more! “...For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen,” Matt. 6:13.

And we all say Amen! God is Almighty and His mercy endures forever!

Our Hope Is Jesus! by Myra Boozer

Just thinking how Satan works to paint a picture of a horrible, no win situation in the lives of those who may be going thru a dry valley...a place where you are thirsty for a drink of spiritual waters...a place where you seem to be all alone and no one seems to have time to give you an encouraging word...a time when the wall just won't come down and the Lord seems to withhold the ladder for you to climb over. And then, with everything else it's time to pay those bills and the money is low...the tears seem to flow and the heart breaks but you find that the Lord is standing in front of you holding out His hands to you...wanting to lift you from the valley and sit you on the mountain of Hope where the sun is shinning and the birds are singing the song of deliverance. It is up to you...after you pour out your heart and rid your self of all doubt and fears...reach up to the ONE who can change that picture and give you the best drink of water you have ever had. He will tear down those walls and open doors that have been closed. His promise is for you! If you are looking down instead of looking up, God loves you...love Him back and watch things began to change.

Redeemed By The Blood Of Jesus! by Myra Boozer

The days are evil and the storms of life are raging...The enemy has come in like a flood as it rips through our land trying to wash away every grain of truth and justice that has prevailed in our Country since the beginning of her existence...Turmoil has found a landing on the steps of every home and the heart of every man, woman and child...The winds of this world whisper, you are alone and no one is interested in your sorrow...just forget about finding refuge in the soul of another human being...Trust only in your might and none other...for no one cares or is able to lift you above the muddy waters of this terrible swift and raging current.

But wait, I hear the chirping of the sparrow and see the Eagle on the highest bough...and listen to the breeze as it sings the sweetest song...Redeemed, You are redeemed...you have been purchased, bought with a price...counted worthy to be forgiven and you are FREE...This is no time to be discouraged...God is allowing us to build strong faith in HIM and not our circumstances. No mortal relationship can save us! We are redeemed by the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ!

It Is Time To Pray! Part 5

Ezekiel 18:4, “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine:..”

All souls belong to God who created us. God has promised us deliverance from sin and the wages of sin. However, someone must deliver the message of Christ's deliverance. Somebody has to enter the realm of darkness in the power of Jesus Christ and declare freedom to these imprisoned souls. Are you ready to be used of God in such a mighty endeavor? The beginning of this process is PRAYER bathed in the Holy Ghost. My prayer is that God will ignite a fire in the Body of Christ that will become a raging, consuming fire of God. I pray that we will burn so hot and so bright that the darkness cannot stay where we go.

The powers of darkness must acknowledge and surrender to the presence and power of Jesus Christ. There is a future time when all creation will bow at the feet of Christ and declare true reverence to Him as the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. However, Jesus wants to use the Body of Christ presently to show forth His miraculous power and divine glory. The Lord wants to reveal the awesomeness of His miraculous power in the Body. He wants to use the Body of Christ to enter into Satan's domain, the very seat and throne of his rule and rescue perishing souls.

You see, Satan has believed his own lies. He is the father of lies. He exists in the domain of lies and deceit. He cannot discern where the lie ends and reality begins. He thought he could defeat Jesus in the wilderness of temptation and the garden of Gethsemane. He thought he had defeated Jesus on the cross and when they sealed Him in the tomb. However, Satan failed to remember that all this was according to God's plan. God had planned these encounters. Thereby He is touched by the feelings of our infirmities. Hebrews 4:15, “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” He was tested! He suffered, died and rose again! Consequently, He brought us to the apex of spiritual victory when He walked out of that tomb! That was God's plan!

Are you willing to be changed into an instrument of Christ’s deliverance? Are you ready to become a raging, consuming fire of the Holy Ghost? Yes, it is time to PRAY! (continued)

It Is Time To Pray! Part 4

Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for holding us close and loving us beyond our human ability to measure. Thank you for renewed strength. We mount up on wings of eagles. We run but do not become weary. We walk but do not faint. Lord, let us walk with you today. Let us continue in your awesome presence. Help us to stay the course, push forward, dare to enter the enemy's camp and take back what he has stolen from us.”

Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Galatians 6:9, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Are we prepared for the conflict of prayer? In prayer, the force of flesh and Spirit collide and Spirit must always reign. By the power of the Holy Ghost, we are set free from the dominion of the flesh. The power of Almighty God possesses our mortal bodies as we give ourselves His Divine Will and Sovereign Purpose. Our Creator and Redeemer has broken the chains, loosed the fetters and opened the barred doors. We are free to be a servant of God and fulfill His mission in us. However, the Devil is as a roaring lion seeking to devour and destroy everything and everyone that proclaims salvation and freedom in Jesus Christ. We must rise up in the power of the Holy Ghost and declare God’s Victory. “Father God, Your power will break the chains of sin, disobedience and rebellion. We are Your servants. We stand where You stand and by Your power, We will do Your work. By Your power, We will break through the enemies fortresses and You will deliver the hopeless souls of mankind.”

This is a spiritual war! We are not fighting against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities, against the ruler of the darkness of this world. Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Our victory has already been ordained and secured. Jesus declared victory at Calvary when He embraced the role of His sacrifice. Psalm 22:14, “I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.” David wrote of his own struggle with life and death but uses language which is appropriate for Christ's crucifixion. Jesus poured Himself out on the cross. Consequently, there is power in the blood of his sacrifice. Power to enter the enemy's domain, the places he has hidden the souls of the lost, hopeless, lifeless, imprisoned bodies of humankind. The power and light of Jesus Christ will reach into these deep dark crevices of life and set the doomed free. Who will carry His light into the darkness?

In Isaiah 6, when Isaiah saw God, he saw Him high and lifted up or in an exalted state. Isaiah fell on His face in repentance and submission and declared, “...I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me” Isaiah 6:8. Are we prepared for the conflict of prayer? Can we answer as Isaiah, “here am I, send me.” Yes, it is time to pray!
