John
10:7, “Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am
the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers:
but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he
shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh
not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might
have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
Why
would you settle for less than the very best your life could possibly be? It
all depends on who or what you put your trust in! The system of this world will
let you down. We cannot place our trust in the hands of mortal man but must
seek out the “life giver” who already has a plan, His plan for our lives. If we obey His call, He will fully implement His Divine “order” in us and
through us. Order suggests the way
objects in space or events in time are arranged or follow one another. God
knows where we need to be at any given time so He may bring forth His Divine
purpose in us. He is vividly aware of the best possible path for our lives. He
sees our future and knows the way we should take.
Job describes our dilemma and the solution to our problem. Job 23:8, “Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: 9 On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him: 10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job’s writing illustrates the limitations of our carnal flesh. I go forward, backward, right, and left, but I cannot see Him. True, we can not see Him if we are walking in the flesh. We must commit our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ and trust Him because He knows the way that we should take. (continued)
