Do You Know The Love Of Jesus? by Myra Boozer

Do you know the love of Jesus? Has He come into your life and brought peace where confusion and turmoil once lived? Has He come with His whisper of the love that He has for you and your family? Has He given you joy beyond measure, sharing with you the abundance of the heavenly rain that covers all souls that delight in Him? Do you feel His arms of security and confidence in His plan for your life, instead of feeling like a lost ship on the sea of time? Do you awake each morning with the hope that today you will be able to share the good news with the world that so desperately needs it...all because you know JESUS, the author of good news? Do you have a laughter that comes from a deep, deep well of living water that springs forth giving life?

 Do you know the love of Jesus? The compassionate one who feels every heartache and sees every tear that falls from your eyes. Do you know this man who gave His very life so that you would not have to receive punishment for the sin of Adam that is born in each of us? Do you know Him? Do you know that He is coming to take those who love Him to live with Him forever in a place that eyes have not seen and ears have not heard? There is nothing on earth to even compare.

Jesus is the one who picks me up and turns me around. He puts me on solid ground when I feel dizzy from the hustle of this life. He is the one I depend on to give me strength. He is the one who gives me HOPE that no matter what may come, no matter what may happen that I can be FAITHFUL to Him and TRUST Him for the outcome. Do You Know The Love Of Jesus?

Take This Whole World But Give Me Jesus!

Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

“In the morning when I rise, give me Jesus.” So goes the lyrics of one of my favorite songs. Jesus is my Beginning, and He will be my End. He is my Sustainer and my Provider. Though I pass through this intense darkness, He is my Light and my Salvation. I may not know the next step to take but He is my Guide and gives me perfect peace in the turmoil. He will speak to this storm and declare, “PEACE BE STILL.” He restores the strength of my soul and causes me to rise up on wings as an eagle. He makes me to soar high above the conflict in this world, separated from the struggle. He keeps me in the hollow of His hand, and Nothing can pluck me from His saving grace.

That is the power of His abiding presence! Power to push back the evil and darkness that has captured the innocence of life and destroyed so many precious souls. The power of His presence in me enables me to declare in the Name of Jesus, “YOU SHALL PROCEED NO FURTHER.” There is power in the Name of Jesus over all that comes against me. As He abides in me and I in Him, He will vanquish every foe and cause me to triumph over every evil plan of the enemy. Oh! Victory in Jesus, my Savior forever! He will keep me in perfect peace as my focus is on Him! That Peace is my total Freedom Forever! Amen! Take this whole world, just Give Me Jesus! 

I Search For God! He Finds Me! by Myra Boozer

Lord, please clear the thoughts of all the things I think I must do today. Surround me with Your thoughts and Your desires. Fill in all the recesses of my heart and set my feet on the right path.

Troubles are all around and the sounds are coming in loud and clear that all is not well. The road of demands is calling for my attention to come to each of them, and each seems desperate.

Slow me down to Your pace Lord. You are never in a hurry but always right on time. You are never slack when You make a promise. You always follow through. You have this whole universe in Your hands and nothing is out of Your control. Why can't I be more like You? You are relentless, never letting up. Help me Lord because You are greater than all my rush to unfold today and rearrange this clutter in my mind.

You seek me as I seek You! We will come together in perfect unity when I slow my pace so I can reach You. Thank You for Your never-ending patience with me. Thank You for always reaching and stretching Your infinite love towards me!

Today will be no ordinary day. Today I will reach out to You to allow You to touch me. I will consider Your lofty thoughts. They are so much higher than mine. I will consider Your love that is ever reaching to the lost, the sad, and the broken. I will consider Your strong arms of mercy and grace as they pull in all who are drifting on the sea of ignorance and defeat. They are searching for peace, hope, and love.

So I must reason with myself daily and know that I am not alone in my search for You. When I can be still and shut out the world scurrying all around me, I find You and You find me!  You find me along with the least of mankind or the highly favored in all the world. You are not off limits to the needy and hungry refugee who is searching for You. Neither would you turn away the rich and famous if they would come to You. 

I see ME slowly giving up the struggle and You accepting my humanity. Thank you Jesus! I Search For God! He Finds Me! 

God Will Make A Way!

Tonight, as I contemplate the conditions in our world, I am reminded of how important it is to believe in a living God who wants to be intimately involved in my life and yours. He wants to be involved in every detail of every life on the face of the earth.

Presently, people are dealing with very difficult situations and circumstances all over the world. Humanity is in a crisis. We have come to a place where we need to know the solution to our dilemma. We need answers to stabilize this volatile environment.

I don’t know how you are feeling right now, but I can imagine the varying levels of fear, confusion, frustration, and helplessness that many are experiencing. Our future doesn’t appear too promising if you only look at the current conditions in our world. But there is a solution to each and every problem that we face. God will make a way! Jesus Christ is the Way Maker for every person, community, and nation that will call out to Him for help!

A good example recounted in the Bible comes to mind. You find the story in the book of Jonah about the great city of Nineveh. God was preparing to destroy the city because of their wickedness. However, God sent Jonah there to warn them. Jonah went throughout the city, from one end to the other, telling them that God would destroy the entire city except they repent of their evil ways.

When the King heard Jonah’s warning, he declared a time of prayer. He put off his royal garments and clothed himself in sackcloth, covered his head with ashes, and knelt before God in repentance. The King led the way, and the whole city repented before the Lord God. God spared the city!

During the time of our present crisis, we are being admonished to pray. It is truly time to pray, falling on our knees, crying out to God for our deliverance. 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

God has brought us to this place to give opportunity for all who will call upon His Name to be saved. This is the dividing line, and all who have a desire to know God will move toward Him. But those who don’t want to have any part with Him will move further into darkness. It’s time to choose! It’s Time To Pray! 

You Are My Strength! Strength Like No Other! by Myra Boozer

Psalm 22:19, “But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.”

Father God, I come to You in humble adoration for what You mean to me. You are my strength like no other. When the world comes crumbling down in front of me, when the enemy tries to flood my thinking with fear about the day in which we live, You Lord, come and hold me in Your arms of great comfort. You soothe all my doubts and calm all my fears. You hold my head up so I can breathe.

Lord, You know where we are and what is going on in this world. It does not take You by surprise because You have been here already. You are the beginning and the end! You are the everlasting and the glorious future.

I stand in awe of Your great power, Your love, and Your mercy that surrounds me. I know You abide in this place. I feel Your Spirit upon me. I am honored to live my life in Your presence and have Your strong arm of protection against the enemy. I am pleased to write Your Words when they overflow the banks of my mind. I am humbled to pray for the sick as compassion arises in my heart. I am blessed by Your voice that speaks unction and direction. I am honored to be called Your Child!

Today, I am asking for a greater anointing to speak to the Nations, to speak to the world around me. I want to speak to those who have a desire to know You, to hear what You are saying through what You give me to write. But, I need the strength of Your anointing! I am helpless, I am empty, I am nothing without Your anointing! When You come and sit with me, speaking directly to my heart, something arises, and I feel such love and compassion for the world and those around me that need You. Lord, we really need You, not for the moment but for always and forever...

Today my prayer is that You will send a strong desire in the heart of every believer to ARISE with Your power and declare Your Word to a lost and troubled world. Arise and declare a Word for the hour and an Anointing to break the bondage that has such a great hold on the multitudes. Luke 1:79, “To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” You Are My Strength! Strength Like No Other! 

Our Faith In God Remains Steadfast!

2 Chronicles 20:20, “And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. 21And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. 22And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. 23For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.”

The enemies of Judah rose up against her. Through prayer and supplication, King Jehoshaphat and the people petitioned God for His intervention. They placed their faith in God and He came to their aid ensuring them that “the battle is the Lord’s.” What they needed to do was follow His instructions. Their faith remained steadfast in the Lord God Jehovah, and He delivered them without a single skirmish. The enemy destroyed themselves!

The future is uncertain, but our faith in God is steadfast! Time is passing swiftly as all of creation marches into eternity and God’s judgment. What lies before us only our heavenly Father knows. God knows where He is going and where He wants to lead us. He knows what He desires to happen in our world today. Paul exhorted the Church to pray for all men everywhere that they might lead a peaceable life in godliness and honesty. God’s desire is for all men to be saved. 1 Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” Our Faith In God Remains Steadfast! 

Prayer For Today! by Myra Boozer

Father God, send your Light that we may walk in it.

Send your Truth that we may proclaim it from the rooftop.

Send your Power that all may see your Glory.

Send your Love that we may be refreshed, renewed, and redeemed.

Send your Mercy that we may be rescued from the evil one.

Send your Holiness that we may be washed clean.

Send your Deliverance that we may go free.

Send your Freedom that all will rejoice and dance in the streets.

Send your Son that we may be taken away in the twinkling of an eye...to be where He is, forevermore...Amen!

"Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace." Luke 1:78-79 

Jesus Christ Is Our Only Hope!

Matthew 7:24, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.”

Evil and sin have come upon us as a mighty hurricane and are methodically destroying everything in their path. Destruction howls like the wind, undermining the very foundation of all that we admire and trust. Evil lurches out at the family, devouring the cohesiveness of love, trust, and communication, creating walls of isolation, unbelief, contempt, and neutralizing the principles upon which our existence is founded. Evil strikes at the heart of the governing bodies of our societies. Darkness has crept into our educational systems and infected every level of governance, reaching the seat of our national and international governments.

The education of our children will invariably affect our nation and ultimately the world. What we teach in our homes, churches, schools, and universities will create the mindset for succeeding generations. The guiding principles of our forefathers are strategic and indispensable elements to the continued survival of this nation as we have known it. The ideals of love of God and country have sustained us throughout history in all conflict. If we allow the name of God to be maligned and degraded, we are setting the example for the next generation. If we allow the principles of personal freedom and liberty that this nation was founded upon to be diluted and discarded, we will pay the price in defeat and ruin. (continued) 

Jesus, Take Control! by Myra Boozer

There comes a time in all of our lives when the things we thought would happen just didn't happen for whatever reason. But God wants us to be still and know that He sees every tear and every challenge we have faced. He is telling us to "Be still, and know that I am God..." Psalm 46:10.

Being still is so very hard for a child, and sometimes, as an adult we get very anxious acting like a little child, wanting what we want, thinking we have everything figured out. We may think we have grown to maturity and think we have the bull by the horns. We have not! We must stand and look into the face of our great and mighty Maker and say Woe is me, for I am still childish.

“Take control of my life Lord, and bring me to the place you want me to be, even though I may be kicking and rebelling all the time against you and your plan for my life. Yes, Lord please pick me up and correct me as I know you are a good Father, and what you do will be for my own good. Times are changing fast and I lose my way. I must have your supervision to make my way to the place you have prepared for me and my family. Change me Lord, into your image and into the Christian adult you want me to be. In your Holy Righteous Name, I do humbly ask." Jesus, Take Control! 

What Is Heaven's Answer To All Our Problems? Conclusion

(for part 1 see 3/26/25)

What a difference the presence of the Holy Spirit makes in this spiritual conflict. He is empowering us to take back what the enemy has stolen from us. Satan has stolen the future of our priceless treasures, our heritage, our progeny, and holds them before us, taunting us as one might taunt a caged animal. But we must be determined not to be bound by him. By the power (dunamis - ability/can) of the Holy Spirit (pneuma – the breath of God) we are loosed and walk in freedom. Acts 2:2, “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” By the power of Almighty God, the door of the prison explodes and we are FREE, FREE to bombard the gates of hell and take back ALL Satan has stolen.

We are free so that we can lead others free. Jesus came to set captives free. As His Holy Spirit indwells us, we are free to be the visible evidence of God's delivering power. We are free to be God's living, breathing, miraculously working possession. We belong to Him. There is no power of hell that can defeat a Spirit-filled child of God. We are free in God to restore what the enemy has stolen.

What Is Heaven’s Answer To All Our Problems? Jesus is the answer to all our needs! What will He do? He will do the very same thing now that He did then! Let Him do it through YOU!

Time To Be Very Still! by Myra Boozer

Colossians 3:15, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body, and be ye thankful."

For quite a while now, a big squirrel has perched right on the top point of the building out back. He looks like an ornament, really, he looks frozen, not moving except for the wind blowing his fluffy tail. I wonder if he is angry about this weather, or maybe the stash he had for his family is depleted. I don't know, maybe he is confused by this weather. One moment the sky is sprinkling snow on us, just like you would sprinkle confectioner sugar on your French toast, then all of a sudden it stops and the sun shines so bright. You think, Wow, is it over, then it starts up again. That's the way of confusion, and it's something we all have at times. It is hard to deal with when your prayers are still not heard and your heart is breaking for your loved ones. You began to question God, “Why the delay?”

This is the time to be very still and very quiet and just wait, just like the squirrel perched on the highest point. God can soothe all our frustrations and calm our minds. We can rest in His presence and know He loves us but we must remember sometimes He allows us a little while of "feeling all alone and confused." Don't give up and don't complain. Rest in the fact that God has it all in His hands and in His time He will make all things beautiful...with no confusion. He brings Peace and Joy that will overflow in our hearts and bring assurance in every situation. Time To Be Very Still! (This was written some time ago but is very fitting for today.) 

What Is Heaven's Answer To All Our Problems?

Jesus is heaven’s answer to all our problems! What would He do if He were with us right now? How would He react to all the tragic events taking place in our world? What would He propose as the solution for our dilemma? If He literally walked among us today, I suppose He would behave much the same way He did when He walked the streets of Jerusalem and the shores of Galilee. He would still be calling disciples, opening blinded eyes and deaf ears, healing all manner of diseases, and raising the dead. I suppose He would still be turning the money changers out of the places of worship, chastising the religious leaders for their selfish goals, and constantly reforming the way we conduct church to ensure that the focus of our worship is the Lord God, Father of all. I suppose He would still take charge of nature by causing the winds to be still and the boisterous waves to be at peace.

What a difference Jesus would make if He were literally, physically here with us! He would speak peace to the storms that disrupt our daily lives and take our innocent ones from us. He would speak deliverance to the captives, those captured by the destructive and the perverse plans of Satan. He would open the eyes and ears of those who are imprisoned by deception and false religion. He would openly and decisively challenge the egregious behavior that has invaded His house. He would put the devil in his place by casting him out and confining him to the pit of hell.  What a difference Jesus would make!

Oh! But wait! He is here! He lives in the heart of every Spirit-filled believer in the person of His Holy Spirit. What a difference He wants to make through you and me! His desire is to make an open show of His answer to our to our needs as an example to all who would believe Let us give ourselves wholly to Him and see Him bring good tidings to the meek, bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, and open the prison to them that are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of our Lord. All For The Glory Of God! by Myra Boozer

I had this awesome experience about five years ago! I share it here, “All For The Glory Of God.” Just as the worship music swelled and the sun spread its crystal clear light through the trees, I raised my hands in glorious worship and the LORD TOUCHED ME. Thank you Jesus! He really touched me!! I proclaim, He touched me! Thank you Jesus!

I had told the Lord during the early morning hours, "I have gone my limit, I can't deal with this pain!" I must have you Jesus because I don't know what to do! This was on a Thursday morning. I was instantly touched! The pain left, and I slept like a baby Thursday night with no pain! But, Saturday 3 am I began to get restless and not sleeping, couldn't get comfortable. The pain started to give me misery every way I turned, so I was up fairly early, and I put my worship music on, and this is what I saw again. With my hands lifted high, I began to praise God and declare my healing, as I watched the Sun break forth into my room and most importantly into my heart. This gave me so much hope...that I never walk alone...that He is always near and He listens when I call.

Sometime Saturday night, before I was awakened at 3 am, I had a short dream...and I believe it applies to my healing. I will say before I start...I HATE SNAKES...just so you know. In this dream, I had a small baby snake in my hands. It was very cold and I wanted to warm it up (what???). So, I placed it on my chest next to my skin...and tried to warm it. The next thing I remember, it clamped down on my left forefinger and would not let go. I was not in pain or afraid, but I saw the snake in a different light and I wanted it OFF my finger. It took a while, but it finally came off. That is all I remember.

This is the meaning I received...sometimes pain wants to come back and reside in our body...it comes as small pain...not like it was before (vicious) but you know, it is the same pain...you began to reason with it and think, oh I can take a Tylenol with thoughts of, "I may continue to have a little pain," and before you know it... that pain has latched back on with vengeance...not willing to let go. I must see the enemy as the enemy and recognize him for who he is. “Never give up and never give in to your enemy,” is a great rule!

I got up with a determination to seek the Lord at my window again and raise my hands in worship to the ONE who Heals. I have made it good all day. "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me," Philippians 4:13 KJV.

I have continued to open my blinds and raise my hands to give God the glory. I praise Him in my battle with pain. I am not willing to give up! I press on and I will continue to claim my healing in the LIGHT of His pure redemption! Thanks be unto God who gives us the VICTORY!!! Today I have Victory in Jesus, because I trust Him to help me every day that I live. No, I haven't been pain-free all the time, but neither have I given up. I will continue to call on the Lord and keep trusting in Him! I am determined to not lean on my own understanding, because when I do, I am helpless. I live in the power of His might and continue to spread His good news because He strengthens me! All for the Glory of God! 

In The Name Of Jesus!

John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

There is power in the name of Jesus! There is power to break every chain. Power to live for Christ and walk in unbridled victory. Free to flow in the Spirit and experience His presence from glory to glory. He leads us up, higher and higher into His Majesty. Having been exposed to His glorious Light, we will never be the same.

We are changed in His presence. We can never be the same once His glory has shown upon us. We are changed forever and He has planted such a desire to reach higher. His presence is so addictive that no sooner than you walk away, you have an unquenchable need to return.

And we can return again and again. There is no limit to the glory we can experience in His presence. Simply come to Him in obedience and submission, and He will carry you to heights previously unknown. He will reveal to you truths you haven't understood and emotions you've never experienced. But most of all He will reveal Himself to you and in you so that the world around you can see Him and be touched by Him, “that the father may be glorified in the Son.” 

Child Of God, You Are Loved! by Myra Boozer

If you are feeling sad, lonely, or forgotten...whatever the reason...I want to share this with you from God's Word...

God loves you and He KNOWS your Name...see Isaiah 43:1, "...I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine."

He SEES your every move...see Psalm 139:7, "Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?"

He THINKS about You...see Psalm 139:17, "How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!"

He is WITH You...see Joshua 1:9, "...for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

He will FIGHT for you..."The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace." Exodus 14:14

He made You in HIS IMAGE..."So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." Genesis 1:27

He is your SAFE PLACE..."He only is my rock and my salvation, he is my defence, I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us, Selah. Psalms 62:6-8

He has a PLAN for You..." For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Jeremiah 29:11

He Is GOOD..."Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes." Psalm 119:68

He is FREEDOM..."Now the LORD is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is liberty." 2 Corinthians 3:17

He is ALWAYS with You..."And lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen" Matthew 28:20b

You are definitely NOT forgotten...talk to Him and tell Him your concerns...You will feel so much better...a little Praise music will help also.

"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7

YOU ARE WELCOME! 

A Matter Of Choice!

Galatians 6:9, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”

Presently we are engaged in a great spiritual war. This war is not with flesh and blood but with the unholy forces of darkness. The magnitude of this conflict is greater than any we have faced before and will become increasingly more intense as we move toward the consummation of all things. We must move ourselves into place for optimal results for ourselves and those that we will impact. The spirit of the world is anti-Christ, anti-God, unholy, and rebellious against all things that represent God and holiness. The more ungodly it appears, the better they like it.

The spirit of anti-Christ is taking over the world. The Word of God has warned us of this time so that the Body of Christ is not taken by surprise. Jude 1:17, “But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”

Jude was writing this letter to address the false teachings that had arisen in the churches. (70-80AD) Alarming advances were being made by an incipient (not fully developed) form of Gnosticism. The Gnostics focused on their spirituality and allowed the flesh to indulge in anything they desired. In verse 3, Jude identifies this behavior as a departure from the faith which was once delivered to the saints. Some had the appearance of the faithful but denied the power of the Holy Ghost!

Our role as followers of Jesus Christ is to impact our world in the same fashion that He did. Our mission has never been more important than it is today. The human race is on a collision course with the Judgment of God. It’s like a high-speed locomotive running down the tracks full speed, headed toward a dead-end line and total disaster. There is a need for someone to throw the switch onto the right track avoiding the coming calamity. We must be that person for the salvation of those within the sphere of our influence. We must declare the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world!

Remember, we are engaged in a great spiritual conflict. We want to position ourselves where we can best be used for the glory of God. We determine the outcome of this conflict for ourselves by how we respond. The plan of God is predetermined.  The players are not. We have the opportunity to choose the role we will play in our response to the invitation of God. If we remain faithful and full of faith, we can discern His direction. If we become distressed and overwhelmed, the enemy will cloud our judgment and fill our hearts with fear. If we maintain faith and assurance, the Lord will be our fortress, our strong tower, our rock. How do we achieve the latter and allow Christ to fight our battles? By applying Isaiah 40:31, “...wait upon the Lord...” and Galatians 6:9, “...not be weary in well doing...” Being Full Of Faith Is A Matter Of Choice!

Hebrews 9:28, “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

"What kind of people must we be to be ready for the return of the Lord and to enter the kingdom of heaven with Him?" There are many answers to be given. The one that stays with me so much is...We must be watching and waiting for Him (carrying out His commission). He is coming for those who are looking for Him!

We must be set apart from this world and separated from its hold on us. We must be in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ to want to be with Him. Not just use Him as an escape route to "get out of " what is coming upon this world in the form of judgment because of sin and wickedness. Luke tells us, "Watch out! Don't let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don't let that day catch you unaware, like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth. Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man," Luke 21:34-36 (NLT).

We must have ears to hear and recognize His voice when He gives us direction...also to hear the trumpet sound...not everyone will hear that sound. We must be ready to go with Him. The Word says to be alert, not dulled by careless living.

Do we love the Bridegroom? Are we laying aside every weight that would hinder us from being ready? Are we watching for His coming? The Truth about the Rapture gives us great incentive to deny worldliness and live holy and righteously today because He could come today.

Don't let anything sedate you. Stay watchful! This world can pull you in by its luring bait which looks all pretty and innocent but it is a trap and not easy to escape once you have bought into it. Jesus said "And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things, entering in, choke the word, and it become unfruitful," Mark 4:19. 1 John 2:15 tells us to “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” Who Will Be Ready? 

Who Left The Gate Open? Conclusion

At present, we are in the battle of our lives as we stand against the evil that has been unleashed on our world. What we are experiencing did not come about overnight. This has been in the making for decades. The Wolf, Satan, has moved quietly but intently among the flock doing his treacherous work. But, his work has taken on a new level of intensity because he knows he only has a short time to work.

There is a monstrous storm gathering and is even now forming into a catastrophic event. Those who can’t weather the storm will be broken off! There will be casualties in the ensuing conflict. We cannot allow ourselves to be driven by the winds of this world. We must know the TRUTH and stand upon the TRUTH. Ephesians 4:14, “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;”

The days ahead will require that we have and maintain a real experience in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our faith in Him will be put to the test and even now the battle has become more intense. You can feel it in your spirit! This is all an attack by Satan and his demons from hell. But, greater is He that lives within me than he that is in the world.

We must maintain a healthy connection to Jesus Christ. Jesus said Himself, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing,” John 15:5. All our strength comes from Him. If our relationship with Christ remains vibrant and healthy, He will sustain us through any storm. Otherwise, the storm will break us and we will be like so much discarded refuse! God have mercy upon us! 

The Enemy Is At The Gate! by Myra Boozer

I believe the enemy is at the gate! He is like a roaring lion seeking to devour whomever he can. If anyone is thinking of becoming a warrior, IT IS TIME! If anyone is thinking of giving up, turning in their armor, backing out, and running scared, IT IS NOT THE TIME! We have too much at stake, our lives and the lives of those we love dearly. Who would not fight for those they love? Stand in the strength of the Lord. Let not your heart be troubled! For the child of God, the battle is almost over. The King is about to call the Warriors and all those who love Him to come up higher! 

Who Left The Gate Open?

John 10:12, “But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.”

The hireling has left the door open and the wolf, Satan, has entered in and made havoc of the flock. However, we cannot continue down this path. We must rise up in the power of the Holy Spirit and take back what the enemy has stolen. You might ask, “What has he stolen?” He has taken our families and our homes. He has taken our schools and educational systems. From there, he has taken control of our local governments, state governments, and national and international governments. Over the last few decades, Satan has moved God out of these institutions and governing bodies and he almost does at will what he wants when he wants. Except for the “Restrainer!”

2 Thessalonians 2:6, “And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”

God is still in control and His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, is still restraining the full-blown takeover by Satan and his world of darkness. That time is coming and is quickly approaching but God will determine when! (continued) 

I Can Only Imagine! by Myra Boozer

Oh Lord, how my heart does sing when I hear Your people worship in song. It is a glorious feeling to be brought into Your presence. Your love captures us and we are taken away by Your spirit, taken into the heavenly realms of rejoicing and praising Your Holy Name.

One day we will stand in Your presence and bow at your feet. We will be free from all of the thoughts that try to rush in and steal our admiration of YOU!

We will be without any restraints. We will have no hindrances. We will have no reservations. It will be a time of jubilation, a time of exaltation! What Joy will flood our mind, our body, and our soul.

This mortal body cannot imagine what Glory we shall experience when we see You face to face. "Will we dance before you Jesus or in awe of you be still?"

It will be an event like we have never experienced. So, we can only imagine what it will be like to stand before You in Your Glory.

I will continue to think on this day and prepare my heart to be still and just rest in the mystery of what Eternity will bring.

"Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted. For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted. For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our King," Psalm 89:15-18. 

Then Face To Face!

1 Cor. 13:12, “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”

Often, as I look into the faces of my grandchildren, God’s gifts are straight from heaven, and I see in them the reflection of the face of God. Many times I have met them just outside my front door as they came running up my walkway. Their faces were aglow with joy, so happy to come to our house. With sweet smiles on their faces and arms spread wide, they run into the arms of their anxiously awaiting Papa. Such an exchange of love and embrace is hard to describe in ordinary words. I am overwhelmed with thanksgiving that God has created such a wonder.

The relationships that we have here are but a prelude to what lies ahead for the children of God. 1 Cor. 13:12, “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” As great as our revelation of God may be, our experience with God is veiled to some degree. Similar to Moses’ inability to experience the full impact of the majesty of God due to earthly constraints, there is a limit to our ability to fully entertain God. However, there is a time coming soon and we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” Now we see in part and know in part but at His appearing, we shall behold and share in the unveiled glory of the risen Christ.

I envision in my mind the images of making our final journey to our heavenly home. When we arrive at our destination I wonder how it will be. Will the experience be similar to that of my grandchildren? With our faces glowing with the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ, with smiles of redemption and arms spread wide, will we rush into the arms of our anxiously awaiting heavenly Father? 1 Cor. 2:9, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” We can only imagine but Then Face To Face! 

Unwise To Justify The Wicked! Conclusion by Myra Boozer

When we declare the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ as being "Our Lord" that means He is Lord over everything, every thought, every decision, and every relationship. It means what God does not condone, we can't either. We have a great responsibility to others to speak the Truth and live the Truth.

We are responsible for training our children and standing against all the evil that is being thrown at them through our culture. It is not for us to allow the world and ungodly people to dictate to them what Truth is or what is acceptable. We cannot tell them it is okay to live like the world and participate in every ungodly activity that society has conceived. We cannot allow them to be seduced by the perversion of evil people who are only concerned about their evil ideas.

When we become politically correct and tolerate the sickened agenda that "Hollywood " is portraying even to little children, we have fallen short of the mandate that God set for those who call Him Lord. Little minds and little hearts are being so abused by society thru the media. We may wonder when this will stop? Will we ever be normal again? I don't think so, only worse because too many have been tolerant of immodest fashion, disorderly conduct and even attitudes of "however I want to live is okay, because society accepts it."

Many have failed to teach that wrong exists, that bad exists, and that unacceptable exists. We must tell them we are not to justify and condone every lifestyle. Many Christian leaders are not addressing the problems that we are facing in this generation, because tolerance has slipped into many churches. Many Christians want to be accepted and be heard so they walk on eggshells and speak the acceptable message that makes people feel good instead of telling them the Truth. We must not remain silent, fearing isolation and rejection by society and even some churches because we do not justify (free from blame or guilt) those who do wickedly. "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death," Proverbs 14:12 KJV.

Jesus Christ is our hope! He is the remedy for all sin. He leads and guides us day by day when we live by His Word. Oh, His Grace is sufficient to hold us and to heal our broken hearts when those we love are influenced more by the world than they are by us. We must never give up! We must keep praying and proclaiming the Word of God for it is life unto salvation.

 "But ye beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some having compassion, making a difference: and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To the only WISE God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen," Jude 20-25. This scripture is powerful and covers what we need to do. 

Put In The Sickle For The Harvest Is Ripe!

Joel 3:13, “Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.”

In this chapter Joel deals with the Judgments of God upon the wicked and disobedient. He addresses specifically God’s judgment upon the Gentile world for their treatment of Israel. Also, he addresses in a more general sense God’s judgment upon all wickedness and disobedience.

Joel 3:2, “I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.” Here Joel identifies a specific place of God’s judgment, the valley of Jehoshaphat (which means “Yahweh judges”). His reference is probably to the campaign of Armageddon which he addresses in detail in verses 9-17. In verse 13 he describes the harvest of the wicked and their resulting end in the same way one would describe the harvest of grapes used to fill the wine presses. The wicked are a harvest ripe for judgment. This is an ominous prophecy portraying the inescapable wages of the wicked.

As I think about the dreadful future of lost mankind, my heart is heavy with the task of reaching them with the Good News of salvation in Christ Jesus. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to the present human condition. All men must hear the message of redemption and freedom in Christ. Jesus left the responsibility of delivering this message to the Church. The Body of Christ is commissioned to carry the message into all the world.

The lives of lost humanity are in our hands. Who will speak light in the midst of such gross darkness? Who will offer deliverance to these miserable souls? Who will go for Christ? Isaiah 6:8, “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Let us go for the Harvest Of The Wicked! 

Unwise To Justify The Wicked! by Myra Boozer

"He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord," Proverbs 17:15.

It seems that sin is being accepted more than ever. Many are no longer ashamed of their error, their mistakes, or their sin. When this happens, people feel justified and they stay on the same path of destruction. They are telling themselves, "I have done no wickedness" especially when they aren't held accountable for their wrongdoings by those around them.

The Lord God is not pleased with those who JUSTIFY the wicked nor those who condemn the righteous. In this verse, they are put in the same category. They are both called an abomination. That word means to hate, to loathe. Yet, people want to say God is not angry with me! I believe this scripture proves that statement to be wrong. "But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and FIERY INDIGNATION, which shall devour the adversaries," Hebrews 10:27. Adversaries are the enemies of God. He is definitely angry with SIN. "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God," Hebrews 10:31.

Who is speaking against sin? Who is warning? Where is the fear of the Lord?  Who is lifting up the standard of righteousness? Who is standing in the Gap? Who is proclaiming the year of the Lord? Who is speaking TRUTH to this perverse generation? Who is declaring the WORD of the Lord in the face of the wicked? "He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him: But to them that rebuke him shall be a delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them." Proverbs 24:24-25

I believe God is merciful, gracious, and so patient with mankind. He loves YOU! However, He does not condone SIN! He loves you more than that. He loves you so much that He will send His Holy Spirit to convict you of your error, your mistakes, and your willful sin. It doesn't matter who justifies you, friends or family. When God says it is sin, it is sin and it will separate you from God. "My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth," Hebrews 12:5-6.

The scripture goes on to say If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons. But if you be without chastening then you are not sons. It is your choice to receive correction or not. Ask God to send the Holy Spirit to convict and convince you of the sin that has beset you. The sin that may be accepted and even celebrated by the world. Only God is the true judge of all sin. "Let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire," Hebrews 12; 28b-29. It is Unwise To Justify The Wicked. (continued) 

God Is Lifting Up His Standard!

(See 3/17/25 for part 1)

The difficulty has arisen because of a departure from the leadership of the Holy Spirit. How can we be led by Him if we are not first possessed by Him? How can we be possessed by Him unless we believe that He exists as the third person of the Godhead fulfilling Jesus' promise to be our comforter? John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” The promise of the Comforter was to provide an Advocate to lead and guide the Church as Christ's Advocate or on His behalf. The Holy Spirit is to lead the Church just as God led Israel and Jesus led the New Testament Church.

The Hebrews writer tells us that if we are to please God we must first believe that He exists and secondly believe that He will reward us as we seek Him. Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Consequently, we must believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, co-existing and co-equal with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. Those who reject the Person and work of the Holy Spirit reject the whole of God's plan and that is the root of the confusion. When this basic scriptural truth is denied, every doctrine built upon that foundation is at risk of dilution or discard altogether.

The doctrine of inclusion came into existence because religious leaders wanted to accommodate people. As public opinion has become increasingly more liberal, societal pressure has expanded to include entire groups of people and lifestyles. Although the Word of God strongly condemns carnal, fleshly thought and lifestyles, the moral climate of our world demands that such behavior be accepted and embraced by the populace of the world including Christianity and the Church.

The Kingdom of God is a spiritual entity and as such has a spiritual administration. True, we all are mortal beings but God uses mortal beings in His Kingdom if they are subject to the Holy Spirit. Therefore, the work of the Holy Spirit must be embraced in submission and obedience. The tension comes in the conflict between the carnal leadership of man and the administration of the Holy Spirit. Religious leadership has succumbed to the collusion of ambition, greed, and pride. Therefore the door is thrown open wide for governance by man and the Holy Spirit has been expelled. Hence our present dilemma.

God will set apart and identify the believers in His Kingdom. By the Holy Spirit, God is lifting His Standard and His obedient followers are flowing to it as the enemy comes in like a flood. The question today is, “Am I going to follow a religious movement or the Holy Spirit?” The answer to that question will determine our affiliation with a religious group or being a part of the Kingdom of God. And the answer to that question will determine our eternity! My prayer is that we will allow the Holy Spirit to open our ears to hear what He is saying in this late hour! God Is Lifting Up His Standard! 

My Safe Place! by Myra Boozer

Life is so full of troubles, trials, and disappointments and many days our hearts can be broken because of all that is going on in our world. Neglected children, the forgotten elderly, the sick, the dying, and the lonely with no one to share the day. It is a beautiful thing to know that God has a place that provides protection and shelter, a place one can turn to for help, relief, and escape. The Lord tells us He is with us at all times. But we must leave our little world of survival and focus our hearts and minds towards Him who is our refuge.

When we give all our TRUST to Him alone, then it happens. He comes and sits with us and talks with us wrapping His big arms of love around us. It is then we realize we are not alone or overtaken by any burden that He cannot handle.

When we allow the Holy Spirit to renew our mind we are actually surrendering to what is going on and receiving our life vest for survival during our storm. Spiritually, we are taken into that safe place of His protection, His pavilion and none of the things of this world can defeat us. Not that we are not there already, but when our hearts don't stay FIXED on Him, we do not REST in His PRESENCE.

We must stay awake and aware that the world will pull us in, leaving us vulnerable to Satan and his lies of defeat. BUT Jesus says come unto me ALL of you that are troubled or overtaken and I will give you REST. He is our safe place in a world of calamity. He is our shelter in the time of the storm. He is the one who lifts us up above the shadows and puts our feet on solid ground.

To really know Him is to TRUST Him...To Trust Him means that your soul will be at REST... When all around us is crumbling down...Our heart is fixed on the Lord and we are safe and secure in Him...Jesus is My Safe Place! 

When The Enemy Comes In Like A Flood?

Isaiah 59:19, “...When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.”

God is lifting up His Standard! In the Old Testament, a standard was the identifying colors of an army or kingdom. It was necessary to identify allies and enemies. God promised Israel that He would stand with them against His enemies. This principle is essential in our spiritual warfare today.

God will set apart (sanctify) and identify as His believers in His Kingdom. How is that going to happen? It is happening at this present moment! By His Spirit, God is lifting His Standard and His obedient followers are flowing to it, while the enemy comes in like a flood. We are currently living in the time Isaiah described in chapter 59. In verses 16-21, Isaiah writes by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit concerning the last days restoration of the nation of Israel. God brought salvation at the first Advent of Christ but Israel rejected Him. At His second Advent or second coming He will judge His enemies and restore salvation to Israel.  The restoration of Israel is at hand! The deliverance of the Body of Christ is even at the door!

Isaiah 59:19, “...When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” The enemy has come in like a river overrunning its banks and causing great destruction and distress wherever it flows. The floodgates are open and just as Aaron and the priesthood were co-conspirators in the disobedience and idol worship of the Israelites at Sinai, the leadership in Christianity must share the responsibility for where we are today. The strong emphasis placed on the doctrine of inclusion in the religious world has led to a departure from the faith which was delivered to the saints of the New Testament. This doctrine must be reversed in the churches.

Instead of inclusion, separation of the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of this world must be preached again from our pulpits. Although the gospel message is one of inclusion and is to all men, there always has been and always will be the Divine standard. God’s holy standard can still be achieved in the heart of the submissive, obedient believer through the work of the Holy Spirit living within us. Jesus said that He (Holy Spirit) will lead and guide into all truth. John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” The Truth is the standard but can not be achieved apart from the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the heart of the professing Christian. When I Don't Know What To Do! by Myra Boozer

Lord, when the world is overwhelming and I don't know what to do,

I struggle with my feelings and try to trust in You.

When the trials come down like rain and I think I'm about to sink,

I call for you to save me and stop all my defeat.

When my feet get weary from running and my eyes are full of fear,

I turn to you and just in time, I know that you are near.

When my lips begin to quiver and my heart begins to faint,

I stand upon the Solid Rock and call upon Your Name.

You Come!...for you are not afraid of what I'm feeling and you calm my stormy sea.

I draw a breath of sweet relief and put my trust in Thee...

“My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever,”  Psalm 73:26. 

Lord Jesus, Capture Me!

Psalm 19:14, "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."

Lord Jesus, today I ask you to capture my mind, my heart, and my soul. Keep me, the total me, safely in your hand. Empty this vessel of all substance except YOU. Fill me full with YOUR SPIRIT. Create fresh in me the passion, power, and deliverance of your VISION! Engage my total self to procure the desire of your heart through me. Fill this emptiness with an outflow of living water, creating a worthy vessel overflowing with your love, compassion, and generosity. Help me to feel the hurting of the precious lives that surround the place of my habitation. Flow through me to aid and comfort those who are bleeding. They are bleeding out the wonder of life because of the mortal wounds of the enemy. Help me to stop the bleeding that is draining them of the very life you give. Anoint me to bring the good tidings of YOUR Gospel to a broken world.

Oh! That your Holy Spirit in me would bind up the brokenhearted, those whose hearts have been shattered by the deceitful, insidious enemy of their soul. Lord, set at liberty those held captive, held captive by their past. Release them today from their broken dreams and failed plans. Cause them to look to YOU for their total deliverance and life in YOU. In the Name of Jesus, set them free! Break the chains and open the prisons for those who are bound. May the Holy Ghost invade the dominions of Satan with such power that the chains will disintegrate at His mere presence. May the presence of Almighty God be so powerful that the prison doors be hurled from their hinges and these eternal souls be forever set free.

Lord Jesus Christ, I pray this day for your anointing to fall heavy upon the Body of Christ, that we walk as you walked, talk as you talked, and BE as YOU ARE the LIVING BREATH OF LIFE in an otherwise lifeless world. Lord, anoint us with the message of YOUR GOSPEL that all who will hear will accept YOUR LIFE and have that LIFE most ABUNDANT. Praise to our LIVING CHRIST, in JESUS' NAME! Lord Jesus, Capture Me! 

He Shall Preserve Thy Soul! by Myra Boozer

"The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul" Psalms 121:7

In his writings, David spoke so often of knowing where his help came from. He knew where to look and in whom to put his trust. He knew who his keeper was. His life sustainer was the Lord God Jehovah! Do you know that today? Are you settled in that very important fact?

Psalm 146:2, “While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. 3Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help...5Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: 6Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:” This chapter goes on to tell us what the Lord will do for the oppressed, the hungry, the prisoners, the blind, those bowed down, the strangers, the fatherless, and the widow. These promises are very positive. But then he says in v9, "...But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down."  That is a promise also, but it is NOT good! We have the promise that the LORD preserves all them that LOVE Him but the wicked He will destroy.

My HOPE today is in the Lord our maker. My HOPE is not in a man or a political system. My HOPE is in the promises of THE BOOK...God's Holy Word. "The Name of the LORD is a strong tower, the righteous runneth into it and is safe," Proverbs 18:10.

When you run to the Lord for His forgiveness and for His protection, STAY THERE. Don't run in and out thinking you can be saved or safe when you keep playing with the world, getting into all kinds of sin. There is much false doctrine and many are falling for untruth because it sounds good but it is not TRUTH.

There is only one way and that is by the blood of JESUS. Don't trample HIS blood by playing with the world and falling for the doctrines of devils. IF GOD SAYS IN HIS WORD THAT IT IS WRONG, IT IS WRONG AND NO ONE CAN CHANGE THAT.

God is a jealous God! He doesn't accept a half-time relationship. He wants all of our heart. Stay with God, live close to HIM, and PRAY. “The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He Shall Preserve Thy Soul.” 

The Sure Path!

Proverbs 2:1, “My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; 2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; 3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; 4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; 5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.”

The poor receive the good news in the Gospel!

The brokenhearted are healed in the Gospel!

The captives are delivered in the Gospel!

The blind receive their sight in the Gospel!

The bruised are given liberty in the Gospel!

The burdened and battered are set free in the Gospel!

Thanks be to the God of our salvation who gives us victory through the shed blood of Jesus Christ! There is no mountain too high, no valley too wide that the blood of Jesus cannot transcend and make all things right. All it takes is a broken and contrite heart willing to turn ourselves and all our baggage over to God.

Seek the Lord while He may be found. Isaiah 55:6, “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:” 2 Cor. 6:2, “...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” The Message Bible states it this way, “Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped.” Follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ! It is The Sure Path! 

You Can't Forgive Yourself! by Myra Boozer

I have heard people say to a new Christian, “God has forgiven you, now you need to forgive yourself! That sounds easy enough. Have you ever tried it? I don't see myself having the ability to rid myself of the guilt. You will go around and around in circles with a sense of maybe I did and maybe I didn't forgive myself, with no real relief.

Truth is, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit," Romans 8:1. When you allow God to forgive you and you receive His peace and His acceptance, the weight of sin and its guilt is lifted off your life. You should feel a release from the "forgive yourself" statement. If not, keep praying, and allow God to do His complete work in you.

With many situations in our lives, we may see that we come up short in what the Word says about right living. We can either go to the Lord in repentance or we can carry guilt and listen to that nagging voice of condemnation. Our confession and His forgiveness lifts our burden of guilt! Sometimes it's not necessarily a "sin" but a feeling of failure, error, mistake, or neglect. When we don't go to the Lord, Satan uses these BIG and little "boo boo's" to DESTROY us, filling us with guilt and giving us no way out.

As the guilt grows it becomes a weight and a hindrance to our testimony, all the while some may feel, "Now I need to forgive myself." There are no walls, no barriers, or barricades to keep us from the cross on any given day. We are free to fall before the Lord and tell him all our feelings, allowing Him to deal with us, correct us, and cleanse the guilt that tries to destroy us. This is the remedy for condemnation.

God gives us a fresh new start with Hope and a clean slate with no guilt which Satan has used so viciously against us. The fact that we must somehow "forgive ourselves" is not possible. Satan is a liar and the truth is not in him. When God forgives us, He casts all our sins, guilt, and shame as far as the East is from the West. Only the Lord can take the Guilt away. We don't have that ability...

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold all things become new."  2 Corinthians 5:17 

The Power Of The Gospel Is Truth!

Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:..” 

Paul declared boldly that the Gospel is the power of God to bring men to salvation. The power of the Gospel is that TRUTH. That is the pure, undefiled TRUTH! It is that pure message that will set every man free who believes God’s promise and places their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Any deviation from the Truth of God’s Word will annul its power to accomplish its intended purpose in us and whoever we might affect. The only way to walk in the power of His Spirit is to embrace His TRUTH without amendment. Jesus declared to John in His Revelation 22:18, “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” It says what it says and means what it means. We must embrace His TRUTH if we are to hear Him say, “...Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord,” Matt. 25:21.

Jude is pleading in Jude 1:3, “...that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” The Holy Spirit, speaking through the writer of this passage is calling for the Church to return to the Truth of the Gospel. Jude was writing some 40 to 50 years after the death of Jesus. The Faith that Jesus taught was being diluted (not containing very much of the original message). The TRUTH that Christ had preached and modeled was missing. It was upon this TRUTH that He established His Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church, Matt. 16. It is upon the understanding of who Jesus is that He has built His Church! He is the everlasting Son of God, Savior of every believer and soon coming King for all those that have made ready!

That is the message of the Gospel! That is the TRUTH! The power of the Gospel message is the TRUTH. Jude pleaded with the first-century Church, and the Holy Ghost is pleading with the present-day Church. He is saying repent and return to the Truth of the Gospel which Jesus taught and modeled. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;” 

Jesus Is Always Near! by Myra Boozer

“When I walk by the wayside, He is along with me...Amid all my forgetfulness of Him, He never forgets me.” Thomas Chalmers

Oh the days that I look for Him, the days I think, where are you Lord? I cry out to him, please come and fill my longings and let me know you are here. I wish I could remember that He is always near and never leaves me, but trouble overtakes me and my heart begins to break. Just for a moment, my forgetfulness rises up and I too despair as Peter did over the stormy weather. Peter was walking on the water to Jesus! Wow, but the winds were overwhelming to his mind. He must have actually forgotten the miracle that was happening right under his feet.

Matthew 14:28-31, "And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come and when Peter was come down out of the ship he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying Lord, save me."

How many times is God making a way when there seems to be no way? But one puff of wind from the evil one blows us right off track. We must be like Peter and CRY out in our desperation, "LORD save me." We must never forget that He is ever near when the enemy starts howling and putting up a fight. We must have our minds centered on Jesus and remember that he never changes. Jesus Is Always Near! "For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5 

Lord, Keep Us Safe Til The Storm Passes By!

Daniel 6:10, “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.”

The prophet Daniel was not so different from you and me. He lived in a time of displacement and captivity for his people. He struggled to remain at peace with his captors and remain true to the Lord God Jehovah. But, when he was forced to make a choice, he always chose God.

When Daniel knew that the decree was signed forbidding anyone to pray to any other god except King Darius, Daniel made an open show of his allegiance to God (Daniel 6:10). Daniel prayed as before! His prayer life was the foundation for his existence both present and future. When the enemy tested his love and loyalty to God, Daniel continued doing what he did every day. The die was cast and the pattern established. Therefore, Daniel held to his faith in God and God delivered him.

The substance of our life in Christ must be established before the storm comes. We must know that the foundation of our life is built upon Jesus Christ and all other ground is sinking sand. Therefore, when the trials of life test us, we continue doing what we have always done. We pray and trust God and He will deliver us once again!

God reveals Himself and our future in Him during these times of intense trial. It is during those times that we seek guidance and rely so heavily upon Him. He uses our faith and our dependence on Him to lead us into our future with Him! Lord, Keep Us Safe Till The Storm Passes By!” 

Something To Think About! by Myra Boozer

If there were no God and no Bible filled with prophecy about the last days, what intelligent person would think that this world could last very long with all that is going on? When Nations are about to fall because of their economy and collapse because of debt...moral decline has hit BOTTOM...the earth is coming apart at the seams because of earthquakes and volcanoes...people are killing the innocent at an increasingly alarming rate...evil men have grown more and more corrupt in their deeds, hating and killing all over the world...disease and sickness are out of control.

What kind of future do you see? It is horrible, beyond horrible if time goes on! But for those who love God and have chosen to follow Him, He has made a way of ESCAPE. He is coming to take us out of this horrible and depraved atmosphere that has been created by ungodly men and women.

People have pushed God aside and want to create a new world with NO rules or standards of Godliness. It seems every day you hear more plans to confuse and turn our children and grands from the truth that God designed for us to follow and be as He created us to be. Every day sin is getting stronger in the hearts and minds of sinful men. Even if there were no God and no Bible...(WHICH THERE IS) this world could not go on the way it is going. Sin is like a cancer! It destroys!

The great news is that God spared not His only begotten Son but sent Him to earth to take the punishment for the sins of mankind. The ball is now in your court. You can choose to allow Him to forgive your sins and choose to follow Him or remain as you are and suffer the punishment of sin throughout eternity.

2 Corinthians 13:5, "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" Something To Think About! 

The Battle For Your Soul! Conclusion

1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”

The World Council of Churches is one such example of rebellion against the will of God. The World Council of Churches (WCC) is a collective of “347 churches, denominations, and church fellowships in more than 110 countries and territories.” In recent years, the World Council of Churches has been an advocate for “an end to the illegal occupation of Palestine” by Israel. “It's time to end Israel's illegal occupation of territory; it is time for the political rights of the Palestinian people to be recognized and implemented;”

The World Council of Churches is a product of the United Nations. Both organizations are on the wrong side of God’s Word for Israel. Israel will possess the land God gave to Abraham. God’s Word promises the restoration of the nation of Israel, which invariably includes the land God gave to Abraham. We don't know what conflict and warfare will occur before that time. But, God began the restoration of Israel to the Holy Land in 1948 and they will remain there under the covering of God’s Covenant with them.

Through our spiritual eyes, we can see the approaching consummation of all things! Civil authority is being surrendered to the powers of darkness. Individual liberties are being destroyed and control relegated to the powers that be...governments, local, state, national and international. The stage is set and the players are moving into place. One world government, one world religion, and the restoration of Israel are glaring indicators of where we are on God’s timetable. We can not change what is coming, only our response to it. The sin of the world hastens the judgment of God. Let the watchman on the wall cry aloud as the enemy approaches. In doing so he will save himself and all that will hear him. Repent and return to the ways of the Lord!

Jeremiah 4:18, "Your lifestyles and your actions have brought these things on you. This is your calamity—it is indeed bitter, for it has reached your heart!" ISV
