I Love To Worship! by Myra Boozer

I love to worship with hands raised in surrender to the Lord as the Holy Spirit comes down like rain. He washes over me like nothing else and takes all the worries and cares of the day down the drain.

I love to walk in the river that floods the place...All because I know who God is and what He has done for me...as I sing praises to Him not only with my mouth but with my understanding, my heart, my desires, and everything that is within me. I lift the Name of JESUS and He lifts me.

He lifts me up above all the shadows of despair and defeat and tells me I am His own. That I am the apple of His eye and that He loves me. Just another reason for me to never back up or give up on God.

For me, worship is a Celebration of all that I live for and all that Christ died for...My debt was paid...My sins are forgiven...My passport to my new home!...and so much more! 

The Power Of God's Presence? Embrace God's Truth!

Jeremiah 2:8, “The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.”

The power of God’s presence requires embracing God’s truth! That is why Judah was not experiencing God’s favor during this time. The priests, pastors, and prophets lead the way for Judah into apostasy. Through the words of Jeremiah, God revealed a pathway to victory. But there is only one way to secure God’s favor. Judah must acknowledge their defiance of God’s law and return to God in repentance and submission. Through the prophet, God pleaded with Judah to return to Him and His Favor.

I suppose that every Christian would say that they desire the favor of God in their life. But, are we willing to embrace the truth of God’s Word and submit our lives to its standard? What is the parallel with our text for today?

 A congregation will not rise above its leader! Then, it becomes the responsibility of those leaders to represent God’s Truth in word and deed. Godly leaders will lift up God’s standard which is God’s Truth. True leaders are co-workers with the Lord Jesus Christ through the abiding presence of the Holy Ghost. God said that He would lift up His standard when the enemy comes in an overwhelming force. “So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19

We are now experiencing the onslaught of dark forces released from the Satanic abyss. The enemy is angry that the Church of Jesus Christ would dare to rise up and oppose him. But now is the time for that very thing. 

Every pastor, leader, and congregation has been pressed by the will of a carnal society to accept the unfruitful works of darkness. Paul instructed the Church at Ephesus to have no fellowship with darkness because we are children of Light. Ephesians 5:9, “(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.” This external influence has pressed into the churches creating internal conflict. The pressure of inclusion and compromise has led to a deviation from God’s Truth by some.

However, God has a standard for us to embrace, accept, and model if we are to name the name of Christ. God’s standard is Holiness. God requires repentance and a turning away from sin to the holiness of God’s Truth. Ephesians 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Godly leaders must preach the glorious Gospel of God’s Truth. Jesus is returning for His Church made ready by the washing of the Word that His Bride may be presented to Him Holy and without Blemish.

The Power Of God’s Presence requires Embracing God’s Truth! 

Finding You (Jesus) Is Worship! by Myra Boozer

"Worship is so much more than just singing songs. It is a condition of the heart and a state of mind. We can even worship God passionately without singing a single note. Our worship for God is born in our hearts, it fills our thoughts, and it is expressed through our mouths and through our bodies. Worship is fulfilling your purpose. When you are praising God, you are not just fulfilling a duty, putting in time, and doing what is expected of you. You are entering into all He has for you. You are opening a door, behind which you will find His purpose and destiny for your life"

Wow, this says so much to us today. True worship happens when the door is opened and we step into the awesome presence of God, becoming aware of who He is and who we are in Christ. It can happen when we sing, when we pray, or just walking along the wayside with the Lord. It is a time of walking hand in hand with Jesus as though nothing else matters.

Dear Lord, may we get lost in your presence and find you. Finding You is what matters today. The world is screaming for more and more attention. May we cast off all the distractions and focus on You with a Heart of Worship. 

The Holy Spirit Removes The Veil Of Religion!

2 Corinthians 3:15, “But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

The presence of the Holy Spirit among worshipers of God opens a heavenly portal. In this wicked and obstinate generation, the Body of Christ must seek and walk in the manifest presence of Jesus Christ. Not only do we need the manifestation of the Holy Ghost but the world needs to see Him working in our midst. This Holy Ghost covering is the key to our progress and the ultimate completion of our mission here.

2 Chronicles 7:1, “Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.”

Solomon prayed a prayer of honor and thanksgiving for the newly completed Tabernacle. It was not simply a formal prayer of dedication. He PRAYED honestly and earnestly. Oh, how we need to earnestly seek the God of glory for His manifest presence in His Church. Pray for and sincerely desire that the glory of God rest upon His House.

Solomon had prepared the House for God's habitation and invited God to live there. 2 Chronicles 6:41, “Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place,..” Solomon had built the Tabernacle as a habitation of the Lord and he entreated God to dwell there. When the glory of the Lord filled the house, the people fell on their faces in honor and reverence of His presence.

Let us prepare this house for the manifest presence of God. You are His house. Ephesians 2:22, “In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Allow the blood of Jesus to wash us clean and make us holy and acceptable to God.  Invite Christ to live in this house and manifest His presence. Fall on our faces in honor and reverence in the presence of God, total, complete, unreserved, and uninhibited worship in His presence.

God's reply to Solomon was, “...I have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice,” 2 Chronicles 7:12. Sacrifice was the system of worship in the Old Testament. So, what was God saying? He was saying that when His people came to Him in worship He would meet with them. The same promise applies to the Body of Christ today. When we come to the Lord in unreserved and uninhibited worship, we will experience His manifest presence. It is expedient that He inhabit this House for our salvation and the souls of our lost world.

What will your church offer the lost, the dying, the hungry? What will your worship experience give to them? Will it be business as usual or will it be a Divine Encounter? True worship will always include a Divine Encounter! Otherwise, it is only an expression of religious habit!

Living In Splendor! by Myra Boozer

Do you ever wonder about the home the Lord has gone to prepare for you? Will it be a villa by the beautiful sea or a chalet in the mountains? I don't know what it will be like. I sure don't need to have anything fancy. I can just hang out by the crystal sea and sit on the beach for a long time. Then, I can come and visit you in your new home and we can talk about all the things that we don't have time to talk about down here.

Oh, we will not talk of our insecurities, our lack of trust or hope, or any of our sickness. The bills will all be paid, no talk of politics, or the school system. No talk about what is going on next door or the way the people are treating little children...abandoning them and leaving them on the streets and even aborting them before they are born.

No talk of all the shootings and robberies and the vulgar filth that is on the TV and the movie theaters. No talk of drugs, alcohol, and abuse...or talk of drama, and fake people, no talk of the Grammy Awards or any worldly status.

No talk of needing goats to send to the needy...no talk of needing clean water for little thirsty children. We will all be happy, healthy, and completely whole, living in the splendor of a Righteous God who will feed us from His Throne forever and ever.

"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know." John 14:2-4 

Jesus Gives Life! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 1/28/25)

It is time for a better way of living! Would you like to wipe the slate clean and begin fresh and brand new? You can in the Lord Jesus Christ! Jesus said, “...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Jesus’ promise is far more than being alive in this mortal body. His hearers already had that physical presence. He was referring to life at its very best which included a personal relationship with Him and a life in His Spirit.

Jesus Christ put on human nature for the attainment of man's salvation. Therefore, Jesus could say, “I am come that they might have life.” He came to live and die to become a sacrifice for the sins of all men and deliver us from sin's punishment. The punishment for sin is death. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” By His death and resurrection, Jesus has introduced us to a life previously unavailable. Thereby bringing all who will believe into the realm of His Spirit to walk with Him in this life and live with Him in the life to come for eternity.

Jesus has made it possible for you to rise above a mere existence in this world to a Life in His Spirit. Though storms will come, He is there to calm the turmoil. Though you’ll need to make difficult choices, He is there to be your guide. Though the world is against you, He is for you and victory is guaranteed. Philippians 4:7, “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Jesus is offering you A Better Way To Live!

We sing Your song of Truth and Freedom...

We plant our hopes and dreams in the soil of Your Holy Word...

Your provision to care for this garden is etched deep into our hearts…

You are the Master Gardner of our souls...

You are the one who tends to the tender plants of our expectations...

You hold the sun in your hand and the rain is at your command...

The warmth comes in due season and the harvest will be plentiful...

You are always near and never far...

You are always there to guard against the storms and dangers that come to destroy...

You are the Hope of my heart today and forever...

A Better Way To Live!

Job 23:8, “Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: 9 On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him: 10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.”

Job describes our dilemma and the solution to our problem. His writing illustrates the limitations of our carnal flesh. I go forward, backward, right, and left but cannot see Him. True, we can not see Him if we are walking in the flesh. We must commit our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ and trust Him because He knows how we should live.

Are you sick and tired of the way your life is going? Are you disappointed with the outcome which you expected to be totally different? Are you frustrated with all the empty promises you have received which never materialized? If you expect your life to be different, then you need to change your approach. If you keep living the same way and doing the same things, you will continue to get the same result. If you are tired of being beaten up by this worldly system, it is time for a change! It is time for a better way of living! Would you like to wipe the slate clean and begin fresh and brand new? You can in the Lord Jesus Christ! (continued) 

He's A Good, Good Father! by Myra Boozer

Today I'm thankful for God's provision. All my life, God has always been such a big part, even when I strayed away at different times like a rebellious child. He was on my mind and I knew He was looking out for me and calling me back to a close relationship with Him. I always sensed His strong arm of correction, not allowing me a clear conscience for my actions but showing me my error (something a good parent does for their children).

Sometimes it is not in our plans to turn away from God but little by little if we're watching other people. We will begin to question why some things are never dealt with and why others help them to cover up their sin. But this is something that has always been and we surely see evidence of that going on today more than ever. People will let you down and disappoint you, causing you to pull away from God and the Church. Just remember we will NOT be judged by what others do or say. We will be judged for our own words and actions.

Those whom God loves, He will chastise. We don't like correction but just remember when God cares enough for you to take time to discipline YOU, He really cares. God not only shows us what is wrong in our life but He brings a solution and healing to our problems.

He has truly provided what I have needed. His direction and correction have brought me to where I am today. But, I had to turn around and seek His forgiveness knowing that I was not going to survive in the world on my own. I needed Him and all that He had for me and that included Him being my Lord and Master.

He is my avenger, my strength, and my protector. My heart is fixed on Him. My eyes are looking for His coming and I am filled with JOY in the expectation of what He has in store for those who love Him. YES, HE HAS PROVIDED ALL I'VE EVER NEEDED, EVEN THE DISCIPLINE.... SO THANKFUL!!!!! He’s A Good, Good Father! 

A Portrait Of My Father!

You are mighty Oh God in the midst of your people. Who can stand against Your beloved as You dwell among them? How Great and Mighty You are, Your Wonders ready to perform. Is anything too difficult for You? “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” Jeremiah 32:17. There is nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing that God can’t do. Put your faith and trust in Him today!

"Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit of God, when I survey the awesomeness of who you are, I stand in wonder of your person. You are the Creator of all things yet you are my Father. You are the Life and Sustainer of all things created yet you are my Life and more abundantly. You are my Way, my Truth, and my Life. In you I live and move and have the entirety of my being. You are the power of the Almighty God inhabited within the person of the Holy Spirit as witnessed in the book of Acts. Yet you are my Strength, my Power, my Comforter, my Teacher, my Paraclete. You are the Divine and Magnanimous Person who inhabits all of eternity yet you are my Friend, my Companion, my Heart, and my Soul. There is no one like you! Thank you for loving me! Thank You, My Father!” 

Jesus Is More Than Enough! by Myra Boozer

John 4:13, “Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

I found this statement a while ago and it has been an inspiration...."God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him." When the desires of this world can fade away like a fog lifting off the valley, I believe that we find a new perspective about life, love, and our relationship with others, especially God. He just fills our every longing and desire. We no longer are pushed and pressured into needing anything except Him and His presence. It is no longer about me and what I must attain or receive from this world. He becomes my focus. He brings my life to the fullest and my heart can sing in the midst of chaos because I know He Is More Than Enough for today, tomorrow, and forever...and He always has leftovers...His storehouse is FULL... 

There Is Power In The Name Of Jesus!

John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

There is power in the name of Jesus! There is power to break every chain. Power to live for Christ and walk in unbridled victory. Free to flow in the Spirit and experience His presence from glory to glory. He leads us up, higher and higher into His Majesty. Having been exposed to His glorious Light we will never be the same.

We are changed in His presence. We can never be the same once His glory has shown upon us. We are changed forever and He has planted such a desire to reach higher. His presence is so addictive that no sooner than you walk away, you have an unquenchable need to return.

And we can return again and again. There is no limit to the glory we can experience in His presence. Simply come to Him in obedience and submission and He will carry you to heights previously unknown. He will reveal truths you haven't understood and emotions you've never experienced. But most of all He will reveal Himself to you and in you so that the world around you can see Him and be touched by Him, “that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” 

Whose Work Are We Doing? by Myra Boozer

John 6:28, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."

"Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established," Proverbs 16:3. Whose work are we doing? Our work or the Lord's work? When life is all about "ME," I am suddenly overtaken by my thoughts, which causes me to be living my life for me.

If my heart is on the Lord and His plan for my life then my personal life becomes secondary and serving Him takes priority. I don't have to search for work...but yield myself to BELIEVE ON HIM and He will bring people and situations into my life that I can love and be a blessing to. That my friend is the GOOD LIFE...loving God and loving Others...that is His plan for us! Whose Work Are You Doing? 

What Am I Doing Here?

Sometimes we are challenged to ask ourselves this question. Why am I here? Why am I doing what I am doing? The right answer would be, “I am here because God placed me here. I am doing this because God instructed me to do it.” Although we may have begun this journey with a firm conviction that God has placed us in our current role, we must be firmly established in our calling. We are compelled by the opposition to the message of Jesus Christ to declare, “God sent me and this is His Message.” It is imperative that we experience a Divine encounter with the Lord of the Message.

The Bible records many such encounters, in which followers of God came face to face with the God of their faith. He empowered them to successfully complete the mission He had given them. Elijah is one such example!

Elijah had his moment when he thought all was lost. He was all alone, and he thought there was no hope to proceed further. But God had a plan and all power in His hands to pull down and to destroy, to build and to plant, to cast away and to gather. (see 1 Kings 19:11-13)

Elijah had just witnessed a mighty intervention of God at Mount Carmel. He was God’s man of the hour and God used him to make the declaration that there is no other God but Jehovah! Although God knew why Elijah was hiding in the cave, cowering in the darkness, He wanted Elijah to see for himself the absurdness of his actions. What are you doing here Elijah? He ran because he was afraid that Jezebel would take his life. He needed to know that Jezebel could only do what God would allow! He needed to know her reign of idolatry was over and he needed to finish his mission. God told him so!

We need to have our own face-to-face encounter with the God of our faith! We must hear what God is saying! Although Elijah was in the final phase of his life, this encounter with God changed his future. Here he was thinking that his cause was lost, everyone had deserted him and the battle was over but God was not finished with him.

We are in the final season of time and the hour of our deliverance is at hand but the climax, the crescendo, the grand finale is still to come. By faith in the revelation God has given to us and by being obedient to His directive, we can “go” and be successful in His mission. He has already given us the VICTORY in Jesus Christ. We will inherit our promised end! And by obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit, we can give ourselves wholly to What We Are Doing Here! 

When Doors Close! by Myra Boozer

When all doors seem to close...and you know that God has spoken and given you a "Word"... a Word from His heart and you know there are people who need to hear that word...What do you do? Do you just back down and say maybe it was just my imagination? Maybe I was wrong, maybe I didn't hear correctly. NO, a thousand times no! You must be persistent! You must stand your ground against defeat. You must not waver because when God gives a Word, He will make a way for it to go forward for His intended purpose. So, when the doors seem to close in front of you, look for a window and begin to shout loud and clear the message God gave you. It will NOT return void or empty but it will touch, inspire, or encourage someone. Don't grow weary when doing God's will...for in His Time He will exalt you and show the world those who are His! 

No Longer A Slave To Fear And Unbelief!

Luke 24:21, “But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.”

The disciples were dejected and depressed because they had believed that Jesus was the one to “have redeemed” Israel but this “is the third day since these things were done.”  It is noteworthy that this conversation took place on the third day. Jesus had taught them that He would go to Jerusalem and there He would die. But, He also taught them that He would be raised on the third day. Jesus had revealed the plan of God to them. However, they were so consumed with His death that Satan had stolen the most important part, the promise of His resurrection. This was the day of their salvation, redemption, and victory, but they just could not see it!

These disciples were going through all the emotions of losing someone close to their hearts. The first emotion was denial, the absolute disbelief that this could happen to them. All the signs appeared to point to Jesus as the Messiah. How could they have been so wrong about Him? They were experiencing the intrusion of a life-altering doubt, a crippling doubt that would cause them to question all the things previously discerned to have been settled. How could they ever trust their emotions and discernment after suffering such a debilitating loss? They had dared to love and trust so deeply that their lives were forever changed by this experience. God's plan was proceeding on schedule just as Jesus had prophesied. It just wasn't time for their resurrection revelation.

How often do we find ourselves in the position of denial and question, “Why are these harsh circumstances developing around us?” We are susceptible to crying out in absolute disbelief, “I can't believe this is happening to me!” This position makes us vulnerable and opens the door for Satan to rush in and steal our faith. In extreme cases, just like the disciples, our soul can be seized with such life-altering doubt our Christian service is totally paralyzed and we cannot proceed further. In that moment, we should run to God and fall upon our faces in prayer! If we will seek His face in submission, He will throw off the chains of dejection and depression as we heed the burning desire of the Holy Spirit that lives within us. We are never alone. Heb. 13:5, “...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

We can place our total confidence in the promises the Lord has given us. He will never fail us! What He has promised, He will fulfill so there is no need to fear! 

Don't Follow The Crowd! by Myra Boozer

When we FOLLOW the LORD, we will NOT FOLLOW the CROWD. We will take a different path, the path of Holy living, Holy speech, Holy thinking, Holy conduct, and Holy attitude. God said in His word, be ye Holy as I am Holy. Christ is coming for a holy people, a holy Church without blemish. Ephesians 5:27, "That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle or any such thing but that it should be holy and without blemish."

I was taught at an early age that if in doubt about something, don't do it. If it seems to be wrong it probably is! If it doesn't bring Glory and Honor to God, leave it. Now, the crowd doesn't understand that kind of talk. They have delighted in making their rules. Do what feels good to you. Don't concern yourself about what God or anyone else might think.

If you have been following the crowd, you still have time to get out of that trap. But, I will say you can't do it on your own. You must fall upon your knees in repentance and trust God to show you the way. He says in His Word, there is a way that seems right unto man but the end is destruction. That is why we can't trust ourselves. We must have Christ to clean our hearts and our minds in order to know what He requires, in order to have ears to hear His voice.

Our guessing and hoping that we are on the right path isn't good enough. The Lord purchased our salvation and He knows the path that leads home. Unless He leads, guides, and directs our ways, we might as well stay with the crowd. This sounds strong but it is time we give strong Godly advice, because "the world" is creating strong delusion (false belief).

GOD HELP US ALL TO STAY ON THE PATH OF RIGHT LIVING...IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO BE SAVED. John chapter 10 explains to us that Jesus is the good shepherd. He gave his precious life for His sheep. He knows His sheep by name and when He calls them they FOLLOW Him...and another they will NOT FOLLOW.

If the path you're on seems crowded with lots of happy-go-lucky people...not concerned about the day we're living in...if they are still talking the same ole talk and walking the same ole walk...YOU are definitely FOLLOWING THE CROWD. "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it," Matthew 7:14. Don’t Follow The Crowd! 

Push Back Against The Darkness! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 1/22/25)

Spiritual darkness has come upon this world like a spiritual tsunami! Our struggles in the spirit realm have spilled over into our physical world and invariably affect our way of life. It is a serious matter to exclude God from our daily lives. That is what has transpired in many nations including the United States. God has been legislated out of our schools, governments, and public arenas. It is there that truth and justice should be promoted and encouraged. We have allowed our leaders to prohibit the mention of God in our public places and then wonder why our world is in such a mess. We have excluded God and He has left us to our own devices and the consequences of governing in the flesh.

Satan has silently done his work. We did not recognize the evil he intended and unwittingly became partakers of his evil scheme. But we cannot go silently into the night. Even at this late hour, we must draw attention to the evil and avarice in this world! We must take a stand for truth and righteousness! We must actively and purposefully push back against the darkness.

Matt. 5:14, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

What has happened to the light? Where are God’s Champions for Truth and Righteousness? Jude 1:3, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” Instead of being separated from the world to be a light to the world, the world has been assimilated into the churches. When we rely more on the planning and production models that we have observed in the world than on the revelation and anointing of the Holy Spirit, how can we expect people to be enlightened and changed? Can we really expect lives to be convicted of sin and changed in repentance and regeneration without the leading and anointing of the Holy Spirit?

Why do we fall back on the arm of the flesh? Because it is the easier route. With the abundance of resources, anyone can develop their own program or plan. However, for the revelation and the anointing of the Holy Ghost, we must go to God’s Word, take time to be alone with God and His Word. We must bury our faces into the carpet on the floor and cry out to God with everything that is within us, fervently seeking God to send His fire among us to address the needs of a lost and dying world. God alone has the solution. Jesus Christ is the answer! Push Back Against The Darkness!

YOUR LIGHT...

Lord, I get lost without your light shining on my path.

I find I am alone and hopeless, fearful and afraid.

Your Light reveals my great need for you.

It warms my heart and fills my soul.

It opens my eyes and helps me see clearly.

It captures my interest and floods my mind.

It settles all my concerns and comforts my anxiety.

It rolls my cares right off my back.

It thrills my heart and causes me to rejoice.

It opens my mouth to sing your praise.

It drives me onward to face the new day

with peace, hope, and love.

So I mount up, as with eagle wings...

And I soar, Yes I Soar... Because of your great Light!

“The LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1 Allow His Light to invade your world. He will change your heart and bring HOPE into your circumstance...Making your deepest and darkest days to be filled with the Light of His Resurrection Power...Revealing His abundant love for you and your family...There is a Light that forever shines...That Light brings deliverance from all the darkness and sets you in a position of high ascent...You are no longer a slave to sin but adopted into The Royal Family of God...forever and ever. Amen! 

Push Back Against The Darkness!

Today, I am reminded of previous generations and the price they were willing to pay to see God moving in tremendous ways among them. They were hungry for the holiness and power of God in their midst! I have heard my father’s generation speak of the old brush arbors where the faithful would gather in these makeshift places of worship created by the limbs of trees and the brush of the forest. They gathered in these crude “shelters” and knelt upon the bare earth or sawdust and sought the favor of the Lord Jesus Christ because they wanted His intervention in their lives.

As a young boy, I remember attending tent revivals in the sweltering heat of a summer night and seeing the saints of God dance before Him in Holy worship and adoration. They didn’t appear to mind that the weather was hot and the sawdust on the floor was dry and dusty. They reached out to the Creator of all things and He connected with them in such a supernatural move that their lives were changed forever.

I remember the old country church house we attended in that same time period. There was no such thing as air conditioning. The closest we got to that was the raised windows and if you were blessed you might find one of the old paper fans that the local Funeral Home passed out as an advertisement for their services. But, none of that seemed to matter because the Church had a higher calling than being comfortable. The saints were set on connecting with God and seeing His intervention in their lives. You prayed wherever and however you needed to make that connection.

What the Church needs and what we must have is a face-to-face confrontation with our Holy God. The Old Testament Prophets and the New Testament Disciples had those encounters. We are no less desperate to have the manifestation of God’s abiding presence than they were! But God requires an investment. That investment is us, all of us, every fiber in our very being. Nothing can be held back because we know that God requires all if we are to have His approval and intervention.

Spiritual darkness has come upon this world like a spiritual tsunami! We must actively and purposefully push back against that darkness. We must bombard heaven in intercessory prayer and push back against the powers of darkness in the power of the Holy Ghost. “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” Let His Beacon of Light shine brightly through your vessel! Push Back Against The Darkness! (continued) 

What God Has Ordained, He Will Establish! by Myra Boozer

Isaiah 46:9, “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: 11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.”

I love walls and gates. I love boundaries of protection with gates that open to new revelations or experiences. In 2013 and before, we prayed, "Open the doors you want open, Lord, and close those you want closed." We have learned that His Ways are much better than ours, and trusting Him brings great Joy!

Now, today we are giving so much Praise and Honor to our Lord who opened the way for us to minister to the Whole World. We are so humbled and feel like David...whom God pulled from the fields all dirty and sweaty from tending to his Father's sheep...unworthy, unknown by many, and just hidden away from all the crowds...but yet remembering what God had spoken to us on many occasions and He has made our calling and election very sure (confident, positive, absolute, certain without doubt, determine, ESTABLISH).

We knew that in His time God would reveal to us His Will for these Last Days. I was reminded by a friend as she told me that God spoke these words to her, "What God ordains He will establish." Those whom God calls, He ordains, He consecrates with His anointing. It is not for us to question but to yield to His timing. For He will establish (to work or settle in a permanent place) build up, set up, install, prove, verify, and confirm.

David's own family had no real confidence in him. When he went to the battlefield to serve them food, they knew him as their little brother doing the work that maybe they didn't want to do. He wasn't a popular person but he was a person who loved God and had seen firsthand how God had protected him against the bear and the lion. David had a song in his heart that God loved to hear and God chose him to be anointed as the King of Israel.

To be a “nobody” is not a bad thing when God knows you by name and knows exactly where you are. He also knows He can depend on you to listen to His voice, be obedient, and follow His commands when the Gate opens. At that point, he will lead you into new and deeper revelations of Himself so that you can be the witness that He has ordained you to be. Whatever the task great or small, it is such an honor to be chosen and used by God to minister to others. What God Has Ordained He Will Establish! 

What Do We Do When Confronted By The Enemy? Conclusion

(for part 1 see 1/20/25)

God sent young David to the battlefield that day because He needed a champion and He had chosen David. He didn’t pick someone who would be measured as a warrior. The king’s armor would not fit this ruddy young lad; nevertheless, he was God’s champion. He left the field that day with a resounding victory because he gave himself into the hands of God.

The Body of Christ is facing its own spiritual giants. At the same time, the Holy Spirit is raising up God’s Champions to render the enemy helpless and deliver a resounding victory. We know how this will end. God will be the victor! But are we willing to answer God’s call and become His Champion for His cause? David used what was familiar to him, his faith in God and his slingshot. He became a willing participant in God’s cause. Will you give yourself without reservation into the hands of God and become a willing participant in His cause.

Remember the One we represent! We are covered by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is POWER in the NAME of JESUS! He will vanquish every foe and cause us to triumph over every evil plan of the enemy.  Give yourself wholly into His hands and become His CHAMPION? Thanks be to God who gives us the VICTORY today and forever through our Lord Jesus Christ! 

Good News! by Myra Boozer

Singing the old songs and hymns can really make one homesick for Heaven and for our loved ones who are already there. Listening to these songs carries one into a place where the heart swells with love for our Lord Jesus. He is the one who has done so much for all of us...not just a few, a specific people, or a particular nationality...BUT FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE! That includes YOU...

He gave His all for YOU, whoever you are! If you're feeling lonely, forsaken, lost, and hopeless, I have good news for you. You are not forgotten! Jesus knows you by name! He desires to forgive you and heal your broken heart. He wants a relationship with you like no one you have ever known. He will be your constant companion and friend, your provider, your confidant, and your Savior. He will carry you through this life and take you to His Home when this life is over.

Just look up and give yourself in total surrender to Him. He sees every tear you cry and He knows just how you feel. You see, He too is forsaken and forgotten by so many today. Many who have in the past called Him Lord and Master have fallen into the trap of Satan. They have fallen for his lies and tried to make it without God. They are now bruised and battered by Satan. They were blinded by his influence as they were drawn away by their own lust. Some who were reaching for a higher level of fame and fortune have only fallen deeper and deeper into Satan's scheme of destruction. They are almost destroyed by this enemy, feeling rejected and hopeless.

GOOD NEWS! It isn't too late because He still knows you by name. He knows your MOTHER’S NAME AND YOUR GRANDMOTHER'S NAME. HE REMEMBERS THOSE WHO PRAYED MANY PRAYERS FOR THEIR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN and He is answering those prayers. He also knows those who had no one to pray for them. He knows where you are and HE is there with you as you read this. Fall into His arms of Mercy! It's not too late but the time to seek Him is when He is calling. If you feel Him speaking to YOUR heart, Don't delay! Answer, Yes Lord! If you don't feel HIM, Cry out until you do feel Him! "The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit..." Psalm 34:18. That is the Good News! 

What Do We Do When Confronted By The Enemy?

1 Samuel 17:40, “And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine...45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. 46This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand;...”

What is the significance of the smooth stones that David chose? The smooth stones were more aerodynamic. They would fly straight. David knew this not because he had studied physics at the University of Jerusalem. He knew this through his own practical experience with a slingshot. This was a tried and true weapon in the hands of a proficient champion. David used what he had in his hands. He used what he knew best, his faith in the Lord God of Israel and his slingshot. The combination of the two was a sure formula for victory.

What do we do when confronted by the enemy? Much like the armies of Israel when confronted by the Philistines and their champion, we stand motionless in fear at the prospect of defeat. Thoughts of doubt and uncertainty flood our minds and cause us to lose heart. In our minds, we are defeated already! And if that is our mindset, then we are defeated before we even engage the enemy. Let us be reminded of who we represent. We enter the plain of battle in the name of the same Lord God Jehovah that David represented. We have the same resources! Use what is in your hand and trust God! (continued) 

When Something Is Just Not Right! by Myra Boozer

If you ever feel that something is just not right, maybe you feel a little anxious, fretful, or uncertain about things and you just can't put your finger on it. I have found the answer. Get into worship and let the Glory of The Lord come down giving you a refreshing that comes from His presence. If that doesn't work, just talk to Him one-on-one, asking Him if there is anything in your life that is not pleasing to Him...maybe your attitude, your actions, or your inability to trust Him. Learn to love the closeness that worship and prayer bring. Sometimes it takes effort and discipline, especially in the beginning. We are His children and sometimes children don't always make the right choices. So we must ask if we don't already know, "God what is wrong in my life?"

This world is a headache sometimes, well all the time...but God desires that we overcome the world. Don't get caught up in the worldly system or the SIN that is so prevalent and very seductive. It can reel you in and take over quickly, putting your life in a state of turmoil and real danger. Instead, you can experience wonderful fellowship with the Lord and cast off all the heaviness the world throws at you.

We must remember the physical freedom that we hold so dear costs a great price. Our forefathers suffered and many died because they dared to declare Independence from the mother country England. Our Freedom is not Free...it costs and is still costing. “God help us to know that our Freedom in You cost Your only Son, Jesus.” Oh, how He loves us and we must not trample His mercy as we see some who trample our American Flag and our American Heritage.

Stand firm in the things God has shown you in His Word. Live true to the standard He has set for you to live by. The Bible, His Word is not to be ignored, pushed aside, or rearranged to fit one's lifestyle. Understand there is Life in the boundaries and guidelines of His Word. There is protection from shame and disgrace. There is forgiveness and freedom in His mercy. There is transformation from a drab and hopeless life to a life of overflowing joy and peace, even in the midst of trouble. It can happen when you open your heart with confession instead of trying to keep secrets from the Lord. He sees all anyway...we can't hide anything from Him. He so desires for us to come as a little child and give him our heart, our worship, and our allegiance. He will make all things new in our life as only He the Creator of all things can do! 

Lost Souls, Lost For Eternity!

John 4:35, “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”

Don’t postpone the harvest! The harvest is ready! I am hearing the message of Jesus’ soon coming more each day and I believe that is the inspiration of God allowing us to know that time is short. We cannot delay fulfilling Christ’s commission to share the Gospel and make disciples for Jesus. We cannot afford to delay or be negligent in our Divine task. There is too much at stake. The salvation of those we love and influence is at risk! Who will reach them if we are not obedient to His calling? How can we escape if we neglect this great salvation? The time to win them is while God is calling! If He is instructing us to take the message, He is preparing hearts to receive the message!

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to the needs of all people. In the book of Luke, the angel's announcement of the birth of Christ was the proclamation of Good News for all mankind. Luke 2:10, “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” All men must hear the message of redemption and freedom in Jesus Christ.

Our “Mission” is ordained and empowered by God. Christ commissioned the Church but as His disciples, we must embrace His command and accept individual responsibility to share the “Good News.” The Church will fulfill Her role and complete Her Mission. As individuals, we have a choice. We will either embrace His call or settle for something less than complete surrender. Without total abandon for Christ, we cannot finish our assignment successfully. We cannot afford to fail in this endeavor.

Matt. 7:21, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Lost Souls, Lost For Eternity!!! 

The Worth Of Your Soul! by Myra Boozer

I was awakened in the early morning hours with this thought, “The worth of a soul!” My thoughts automatically went to the scripture. "Behold, all souls are mine..." Ezekiel 18:4a. I actually went back to sleep and the thought was with me when I got up. I was searching and thinking, “The worth of a soul?” It has got to be enormous because of the price Jesus paid. He bought us with his precious blood. So we are valuable! But how valuable? What are we worth?

Some may put a great value upon themselves thinking of themselves more highly than they should. But they will never come to the value that God the Father and His Son have placed upon them. What makes something worth anything? Something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it!

I found this in an article that came from Rescuing Wayward Children. "Can we imagine that the Savior, innocent of sin, who had assumed the staggering weight of the demands of justice until vessels broke and blood seeped from every pore of His suffering body, who had submitted Himself to brutal beatings, to unconscionable humiliation, to arrogant injustice, to the torture of a thirty-nine-lash scourging, to the horror of being stripped and stretched violently upon a cross, to being raised up to hang, full-body weight, from those spikes until He allowed death to overwhelm Him – can we imagine that after the Redeemer had paid that immeasurable price to ransom every individual, that He would lose interest in a sinner, give up, or stop short of His rescuing effort?"

Wow, this is overwhelming for me to read. I don't usually go that deep into my thinking about His suffering. I much rather think of His Resurrection. It makes me smile and rejoice in the fact that because He lives, I can live also.

But to find my answer I had to acquaint myself afresh with His suffering. I had to go there and experience the thoughts of what He was so willing to pay. He paid the ultimate price for me and for YOU. That puts a big price tag on us, all because of Him, not because of any good thing we have done.

It will take a revelation from the Lord for us to see people in the same light that Jesus does. "When we fix our eyes on what is really important to God it will be people." Jesus died for ALL PEOPLE! He paid the price making each one as valuable as the other. When our eyes are opened we will "see the great value and plan that God has for all people." The Worth Of Your Soul!

Be Still And Know (Encounter) God!

Psalm 46:1, “...God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.”

We need to know God, and we need to encounter God! We need more than an intellectual knowledge of the person in the Bible referred to as the “Lord God Jehovah.” We need a life-changing encounter with Him that will set us on track to experience His Presence every day of our lives.

We need to know God intimately so that He can give us specific instructions for this hour. Now is the time to pray and seek His individual direction and instructions for the Body of Christ. We cannot afford to delay or neglect this task. There is far too much at stake. The salvation of those we love and influence is at risk. How shall we escape if we neglect this great salvation? Time is short, and our deliverance is at hand!

Will you pray this prayer with me? “Lord Jesus Christ, I want to be still and hear Your Voice. Open our ears to hear Your Message for today. Bring forth in us Your Purpose and Will. Send Your Power to explode in the lives of those who will believe, sending forth the fragments of Your Glory penetrating the most formidable obstructions that Satan has built. Invade the darkness with the light of Your Presence, sending out disintegrating beams of Your Deliverance. As the sun's rays warm and revive creation in the spring, may the rejuvenating Power of Your Love and Mercy call to life the sedentary soul. We pray this in the Name of Jesus, Amen!”  

God Is Not Hiding! by Myra Boozer

As the wind speaks to the leaves, they obey! They move in the direction the wind bids them to go, up, down, left, right, or in a circle. They seem to delightfully sway as though they enjoy the rhythm of the song.

When the winds get loud and rowdy everything seems to scream HELP! The trees bow so low and obey as much as possible. It is so dependent upon the tree's flexibility and the root system if they survive. Sometimes the wind is so boisterous it doesn't matter how strong the tree is, it will twist so hard that a healthy limb will pop right off. I know this because I had to place a perfectly fine-looking limb on the curb due to strong winds and pick up many smaller limbs. They had already died and were ready for removal but the green one had plans for next spring, the evidence was there with the green berries.

Actually, when I see the stirring in the trees, I sense they are just worshiping the Creator, and with such pleasure. It is a most enjoyable sight to see. We call this a summer breeze here in the South. It is most welcome, especially to the hard-working person who needs refreshing. It can make a most miserable day become enjoyable.

As I write about this, I am reminded that we cannot see the wind but we certainly see the effects of it just as I can see the effects of what God is doing in our world. I don't actually see God, but I know He is here. He is everywhere. He is working among all people in the earth to bring about His plan for these last days. From the Middle East to North Korea, China, and Europe, from the West Coast of California to the Gulf of Mexico to the East Coast of Maine, from hate that is foaming across our land to the little child being bullied by a classmate, God is working and nothing escapes His gaze.

It may appear to some that God is hiding out in the heavens. But He is moving just like the wind. He is stirring, blowing, and is about to howl because of the sin in this world. Just like the wind, God is not seen by man. John 1:18, "No man hath seen God at any time:" But, He is in the midst of every situation. Nothing takes Him by surprise! Man may think he has it all in the bag, that plans have been laid and the program will go as he has designed. But God, like the wind, makes the calls, and man must obey, yield to His will, or be tossed to the curb.

Isaiah 46:10, "Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:" 

Through It All!

Ecclesiastes 1:9, “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.”

Many years ago, I began a journey of eternal consequence. I made a conscious decision to follow Jesus Christ and be His disciple. This journey has taken me to many places and introduced me to many people, circumstances, and results. I have followed Christ through a changing world and the evolution of man to where we stand today.

Many things continue to change as I endeavor to finish this journey. However, I am aware that there has always been one constant in the noise of all the changes. That constant has been the Lord Jesus Christ and His timeless and unobstructed love for me. His loving kindness endures forever!

As I have traveled this circle of life, I have seen the hand of Almighty God all around me. He has always been with me to provide the solution to my confusion, and to provide all the necessities that I have required to accomplish His mission in my life. However, He continues to call me back to my beginning, to that place of first encounter and His vision that He has set in my heart. It is the reality of that beginning that continues to provide the strength to continue His mission.

The words of an old song come to mind. The song was written by Andre Crouch but I remember an outstanding rendition given by The World Challenge Singers at the General Assembly of The Church of God of Prophecy in Cleveland Tennessee many years ago. The title of the song is, Through It All, and I offer it here for contemplation and reflection.

I’ve had many tears and sorrow

I’ve had questions for tomorrow

There were times I didn’t know right from wrong

But in every situation, God gave me blessed consolation

That my trials only come to make me strong

 

I’ve been a lot of places

I’ve seen a lot of faces

But there were times that I felt so all alone

But in my lonely hour, those precious lonely hours

Jesus let me know that I was His own

 

Through it all, through it all, I’ve learned to trust in Jesus, I’ve learned to trust in God

Through it all, through it all, I’ve learned to depend upon His Word

 

So I thank God for the mountains, and I thank Him for the valleys

and I thank Him for the storms He’s brought me through

For if I’d never had a problem, I’d never know God could solve them

I’d never know what faith in His Word could do.

 

One day very soon, we will finish this Circle Of Life. And that which has been and that which is will be no more and the only thing new under the sun will be ETERNITY. In Genesis, Jesus is the Seed of the Woman.

In Exodus, He is the Passover Lamb.

In Leviticus, He is the atoning Sacrifice.

In Numbers, the Smitten Rock,

In Deuteronomy, the Prophet,

In Joshua, the Captain of the Lords hosts,

In Judges, the Deliverer,

In Ruth, the Heavenly Kinsman,

In Esther, the Advocate,

In Job, my Redeemer,

In Psalms, my Strength,

In Proverbs, my Pattern,

In Ecclesiastes, my Goal,

In the Song of Solomon, my Satisfier,

In the prophets, the Coming Prince of Peace,

In the Gospels, He is the Christ who came to seek and to save.

In Acts, He is Christ risen.

In the epistles, He is Christ exalted.

In Revelation, He is Christ returning and reigning.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” Revelation 22:13 

It's Time To Come Home!

In the book of Luke, chapter 15, a certain man had two sons. The youngest of them decided he wanted to go out and make his mark in the world. So he took his portion of his father’s goods and went away into a far country. There he wasted his inheritance in riotous living. “And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want,” Luke 15:14. He found himself living with pigs and no one would help him. However, it was while he suffered in those deplorable conditions that his sense of home returned to him. Luke 15:17, “And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father.”

In that terrible place and demeaning position he began to think about home and the pleasant memories of serving in his father's house. He came to his right senses saying, “I will arise and go to my father...” v17. His sense of guilt and remorse brought him to a state of repentance making him willing to be a servant in his father's house. He left his deplorable life and returned to his father. His father received him with open arms declaring, “...my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry,” v.24.

It’s Time To Come Home! It doesn’t matter where you are or how deplorable your life is. Your Heavenly Father wants you to know that He loves you and stands waiting with His arms open, ready to welcome you home. Come on home son or daughter! Your provision is in Your Father’s house!

John 6:35, “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”

Psalms 62:5, “My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. 8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.”

Lord, my life is in your hands. My tears are in your bottle. All my days have been written in your Book.

Lord my life is in your hands. I will not be overwhelmed by the terror by night nor the arrow that flies by day. Because you love me, I will come when you call.

I will wait until you come and I will rejoice in your mercy. All I will ever need is found in you Lord. May I always be listening for your voice. My Life is in your hands.

James 5:7, “Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.” 

He (Jesus) Walks With Me!

1 John 3:1, “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”

Today, as I meditate on the presence and influence of Jesus Christ in my daily life, the words of a song by Sarah McCracken come to mind. I am including a link here, youtube.com/watch?v=8iG_37hUIlM. The title is “He Walks With Me,” and it goes like this:

Though now we have trials, we wait for salvation.

Though tested by fire, we suffer with joy.

By His great mercy, our hope has been born again.

Faithful as the morning, we are raised up with Christ.

And I cannot see Him, but oh how I love Him.

I cannot see Him, but I believe.

I know He walks with me. I believe that He walks with me.

We will face trials and testing in the days ahead! But, we have a companion who walks with us to provide for every need. Jesus will make a way through every difficult experience. 1 Cor. 10:13, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” We will not face any trial or test that is not being experienced by other human beings. The testing is the same for all, just different faces with the determining factor for victory being the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in one’s life.

The challenge we face is allowing Jesus Christ to fully control our lives. It is a struggle for us to relinquish our independence and allow Him to lead the way. However, He is immensely more qualified than we are to determine the correct path. He knows the way that we should go. Our heart cry should be to go where He is going. Therefore, we must submit to His leading to go along with Him. I believe He Walks With Me!

Peace That Liberates The Soul! by Myra Boozer

Peace like a river flows from the Throne of our God. It is so clear and pure, rich in mercy and overflowing with Everlasting Life. It declares freedom for the prisoner...freedom from the chains that bind the hearts and lives of the sick, depressed, and broken...

It is being released for all who are thirsty...to all who desire to be set free from this dry and thirsty land of deceit...free from the synthetic and make-believe peace that is being manufactured by politicians and even some so-called Christians.

Lord your peace is genuine...it is perfect. It not only sets us free it gives us the ability to live in this messed-up world with Hope...set free with a great desire to be Real, Healed, and Whole...

The soul of man cannot survive on any other source other than the True and Living Waters that flow from your Throne. It is the Peace that passes all our human understanding. It will soothe our doubts and calm all our fears.

Lord may we have the fortitude to seek you and find you. May we be submissive to your passionate and unwavering love toward us. May we allow you to set us free. It is your great desire for each of us... 

I Need You Lord Jesus!

Lord Jesus, show us Your Mercy today! When I survey my world, I am troubled and distracted by all the events and conditions surrounding me! I need You to help me focus on Your will for today. I need You to guide my thoughts, prayers, speech, and steps. It is only through You that I can press through the darkness that surrounds me, darkness and evil so intrusive and pervasive that their goal is to take away Your very Life in me.

I struggle within this fleshly house, and I know that it is Your strength that will prevail. Rise up, Oh Holy Spirit, and exert Your ownership in me. Push back the darkness and evil that takes my very breath away. Breathe on me the eternal, sovereign, deliverance that only You can bring. Trouble may endure for a night but Your Joy will come in the morning. The darkness will be forced to retreat and dissipate as the Son of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings. Healing for the soul, mind, and body.

Oh God! Take me there, where no sadness or sorrow can exist. Lift me up above the shadows of this world and set my feet upon the mountain top, high above the battle for my eternal soul. Release me from the chains of this mortal existence and cause me to walk in the everlasting life of Your Eternal Promise. I long to walk by the still waters and rest in Your Divine Presence.

Oh, how I desire to escape this intruder sent to buffet me. He comes upon me suddenly and abruptly. He is not welcome here and I will resist with every ounce of strength until You come. And You will come to release me from the bonds of this flesh.

Bring the rain of Your sweet Deliverance upon my thirsty soul. Fill my mind, my heart and my soul with Your Word of Promise. Cause the aroma of Your Presence to envelope me. Push back the evil and darkness. Direct me to walk in the light of Your Path and surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life! All I Need Is You, Lord Jesus! 

Stop The Worry! Get Ready! by Myra Boozer

Trust isn't a very big word but it sure brings about BIG changes in the lives of those who can open their heart and wrap their mind around it. Oh, the peace it can bring to a troubled soul. The calm assurance that comes all packaged with peace is priceless! It will pick you up and carry you in its arms if you will only yield your will (your life) to His will and surrender your thoughts to His thoughts.

Being ready to meet the Lord means, "If we live or if we die we are safe in His arms of Mercy." So, we don't have to worry about anything. Being totally surrendered to His WILL brings us into "His Pavilion." Psalm 27:5, "For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock."

At His command, all creation will have to listen and do what He says. When God speaks, I pray we will recognize that it is Him who is speaking. Sometimes He has to speak to us in a LOUD voice to ever get our attention. I feel He is speaking to the world today as it is spinning out of control with great concern about the floods, the fires, the disease, the hunger, the abuse, and the threats. Can you hear Him saying, "...Fear not, I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and HAVE THE KEYS OF HELL AND OF DEATH;" Revelation 1:17b-18.

Allow the Lord Jesus to speak to your heart today and show you where we are on His calendar. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and he is about to come for all those who have been washed in the blood of the Lamb. After that takes place, YOU don't want to be here! Great tribulation and the wrath of God will come upon this world! Please find your shelter in the safe place, "His Pavilion," the place of redemption and ultimate healing for your soul before the Rapture takes place.

Jesus could come any hour! For those who are ready, it will be wonderful. For those who aren't, it will be a horrible time. Don't spend your time worrying about what is coming. Be ready and watch! We do not know the HOUR He is coming but He is coming! Stop The Worry! Get Ready! 

The King Of Babylon Is Coming!

(for part 2 see 1/12/25)

Jeremiah 27:9, “Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:”

In this passage, God is preparing the tribe of Judah for a time of captivity in Babylon. This captivity was punishment for their disobedience and rebellion; however, it would lead them to a time of repentance and restoration. The people’s prophets were telling them that Nebuchadnezzar would not come. But Jeremiah is saying that was not so, and the King of Babylon did come, and the people were carried away captive to Babylon.

We may be oppressed by the King of Babylon for a period of time, but in the end, we will rise in glorious victory. What can we do? We can seek God and know that He is directing us in everything we say and do. We can petition Him to reveal the opportunity for us to serve His purpose and mission even in the time of oppression and persecution. He will open the doors of service and ministry as we seek His will and direction.

The coming oppression and persecution will purge the arm of the flesh from the Church. It will take the fires of trials and suffering to separate the gold from the dross. Job 23:10, “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job is a good example of a faithful, obedient child of God.

When Jesus returns, only those who have made themselves ready will go with Him!
