The Spirit Of Anti-Christ! Conclusion by Myra Boozer

The world is becoming more and more anti God, anti Church, and also anti-American. America, where many have put their hopes for their future, for a secure life with family and friends.

America is a place where dreams come true. Not anymore! We have no promise that it will get better, only worse. Sin is raging, and evil will abound! The hearts of many will be hardened by neglect, pride, and selfish desires. They will not have time for TRUTH. They have no time to bow before our Maker and give Him due respect or love. They have no time for obedience to God’s Word.

God still loves and yearns for all souls to come to repentance. The cross was a horrible sacrifice for Jesus, but He gave Himself willingly. He suffered for our Salvation, for our Healing, and our Home that He has gone to prepare. All the provisions He has made will be useless to the person who has no time for Him and His plan for their life now. Only the one who takes time to open their mind and their heart to His precious tugging will benefit from the place that He has prepared. All must open their heart and listen to His voice, follow in His steps, and obey His directions. Those who don't will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into life eternal. Matt. 25:46, “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” Amen! 

God Will Chasten Those He Loves! Conclusion

God is good and His mercy endures forever to bring salvation to all who will obey. Psalm 106:1, “Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. 2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise? 3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times. 4 Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;”

God’s desire is for the world to observe how He loves those who will come into a loving, obedient relationship with Him. It is God’s desire also to show the world how He will deal with disobedience. Even in our blatant rebellion, His heart yearns for communion with us. We have not fully understood God's plan for us; if we did, we would not pull back.

When the seeds of disobedience are sown, they will bring forth fruit in due season. In the midst of our rebellion, He wants to save us for His name's sake. But you can be sure that whatever we sow will come forth in the time of harvest. Galatians 6:7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”

You may feel trapped where you are and not where you want to be. Jesus will set you free from whatever holds you fast. Call out to Him. He will deliver today! God’s Judgment Is Certain! 

The Spirit Of Anti-Christ! by Myra Boozer

1 John 4:3, “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

This spirit of anti-Christ is roaming throughout our world today. Many are accepting it and going along with its evil schemes. Do you ever just get sick of all the evil and corruption? It is very difficult to determine whether the news is real or fake. Truth has fallen in the streets. What do we believe and who do we trust?

There is so much hatred coming from a society that wants to live a lifestyle THEY have devised. They want nothing said about going against the Word of God and His principles of living holy and acceptable before God. So many are seeking a lifestyle without God or His influence. They seem to have been delivered over to this anti-Christ spirit, accepting every lie and fantasy. They consider themselves to be free to do, say, or act any way they desire, and no one has the right to speak against it. The world is becoming more and more anti God, anti Church, and anti-American. God Will Chasten Those He Loves!

Revelation 3:19, “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

God’s judgment doesn't suddenly come upon a person or a people without warning. In the Old Testament, when people walked in rebellion or strayed from God’s leadership, He always sent His Prophet to warn them of the consequences of their error and gave opportunity for correction and change. God showed them where they had wandered from His path and gave them the choice to repent and return to Him. But He would always inform them of the consequences of their disobedience.

God uses the same principle today. He will warn us and give us the opportunity to make the necessary corrections. He will show us where we missed the mark. In the midst of our situation, we can trace our problem back to a failure on our part, a place in our journey where we made a wrong choice, where we took the wrong path. God, having revealed where we have come up short, will give us the choice to repent and return to Him or suffer the consequences for our disobedience. (continued)

Now Is Come Salvation, Strength And The Kingdom Of God! by Myra Boozer

Revelation 12:10, “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

Will you be in that number? The number of Believers...the number of those who will overcome? Will you allow God to break everything unlike Him off your life? Will you allow every stronghold to crumble and fall at His feet? Will you surrender to His Voice as He calls for you to daily take up His cross?

Will you be in that number? The number of Believers...the number of those who will overcome? Will you listen to His Direction? Will you follow as He Commands? Will you wash your robes in righteousness and be ready for His Coming? His Coming is at hand! Will you be used in His perfect plan and Reign with Him in His Kingdom?

Then you must break loose from all the chains that bind you. You must seek a Power greater than yourself to deliver you from all the chains of addiction and distraction...to be set free for the awesome task of being the extension of His Arm of strength and deliverance. Be the extension of His loving heart...His kind and gentle spirit...His meek and lowly ways...His patience, slow to anger...His forgiving and accepting ways for those who ask forgiveness, and even those who don't. Be the extension of His Righteous Judgment to bring counsel to those who have questions...

Can you be of good Courage even in your Garden of Gethsemane? Be strong in this Day of Adversity...be not puffed up with pride and conceit when His Blessings come down like rain. Love your enemies when they say all manner of evil against you. Know you are of the Royal Family, yet love and help those who are living in the gutters of despair.

Lord, we are ever pressing to be like you. We seek to have a broken and contrite heart, allowing you to count us worthy and add us to that number. The number of Believers, the number of those who will overcome, the number who will be like YOU!

Jude 1:20, “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. 24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” 

Stand Still And See The Salvation Of The Lord!

Exodus 14:13, “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.”

According to the Bible, we know that God is always the VICTOR! God is Sovereign in power and authority. When He is challenged, He always WINS. In the book of Exodus, when God was bringing His people out of slavery in Egypt, Satan challenged God. God said, “Let My people go,” and ten times Satan replied through his servant Pharaoh, No! God responded with ten plagues of pestilence, disease, and death. Israel was protected! God was VICTORIOUS!

Satan challenged God again at the Red Sea. With Pharaoh's army behind them and the Red Sea before them, Moses and the children of Israel had nowhere to go except to God. God’s response, “...stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD,” Exodus 14:13. God miraculously divided the Red Sea, and the children of Israel walked through on dry ground. When all of Israel had reached the other side, the waters miraculously returned to their former state, drowning the entire Egyptian army. God is always VICTORIOUS!

The same Bible teaches us that Jesus will WIN this raging spiritual war! Though the enemy rises up to interfere with our mission, our victory has already been secured. Jesus declared victory at Calvary as He proclaimed, “It is finished!” John 19:30, “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”

God sent Jesus to be the Savior of the world, to take upon Himself the sin of all men and pay the awful price for sin. That price was the death of the sacrifice, His sacrifice. But in three days, Jesus came out of the grave to declare our final victory over death, hell, and the grave. Consequently, He embodies the Power of God to Prevail over all things, “...of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth,” Philippians 2:10. Jesus is our power to prevail! Stand Still And See The Salvation Of The Lord! 

The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness! by Myra Boozer

I love the mornings when I open my blinds and the sun comes pouring in. It just makes my day, and I rejoice in the warmth of God's love to all mankind. It is not only warm, but also beautiful, and makes all things beautiful. Sometimes the clutter in my room doesn't look so challenging.

“Lord, may we open the blinds of our hearts and allow you to SHINE in our world. Darkness has hovered for a night, and the cries for help are getting louder. The lonely, the sick, the forsaken, and forgotten cry out against the pit that has them bound. The prisoners held by sin cry out for freedom...Freedom to be forgiven, loved, and restored!

Who will open the blinds Lord, and reveal the rays of Hope, the Light of Jesus that dispels the darkness? Who will ARISE and open the blinds, the shield that covers our windows? Lord, we are given opportunity NOW in this season to be that person to allow YOUR LIGHT to come forth. It will come with a sudden burst of great force when we allow your Spirit to direct and strengthen us. I know only the strong will do this. Help us to be STRONG IN THE POWER OF YOUR MIGHT as we ARISE like a Warrior with the Helmet of Salvation, the Shield of Faith, and the Sword of the Spirit.

Help us Lord, to equip ourselves with your Armor for the challenge before us...Our world is in great need of your LIGHT, the Light that dispels all darkness. Help us to be your hands reaching the lost and your feet to carry the "GOOD NEWS”...our mouth to speak Your Word which is Truth...that it will set the captive free, heal the sick and bind up the brokenhearted...Lord Jesus help us, your Children, to Arise at your command...Amen!” The Light Of Jesus Dispels The Darkness! 

The Light Of Your Presence!

Lord Jesus, thank you for the dawn of a new day. Now, it is time to turn to the task at hand. What do you have for your children today? What do you have that we should share with others? Lord, fill us with your WORD so that the overflow is charged with redemption and deliverance. Oh! Come Holy Spirit of God and inhabit every thought, word, and activity. Sanctify us afresh as the place of YOUR habitation. Purge from the very air around us the darkness that infiltrates our world and replace it with the light of YOUR PRESENCE. We feel the intensity of the battle. The Holy Spirit within continues to struggle with the arm of the flesh, for he is ever present. Lord Jesus Christ, help us to die once again that YOU may bring LIFE and more abundantly. Help us to say with Paul the apostle that it is not me that possesses this mortal body, but it is YOU that lives here.

Your reign in our life will affect the world around us for YOUR PURPOSE. We invite you to rule the environment around us. “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Come Lord, take control, lead us to the completion of our assignment here. We must share YOUR message with all men. All must have the privilege to escape the darkness. Send forth YOUR light through the WORD of your mouth, penetrate and dispel the gross darkness that has invaded our land. Release YOUR Holy Spirit fire to burn away the obstructions that hold fast the lost souls of men. Set the Body of Christ ablaze that we burn so intensely that conviction and repentance are the result. May the light of your glory be reflected in our faces, in our walk, and in our message. All to the HONOR and PURPOSE of God. Even so, come Lord Jesus! Amen 

He (Jesus) Is More Than Enough! by Myra Boozer

John 14:13, “Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.“ That speaks to me about a life without want. Remember, ‘The Lord is MY Shepherd, I shall not want...’ the broader meaning, not lacking, not deficient in proper care, management, or husbandry. But a second emphasis is the idea of being utterly contented in the Good Shepherd's care and consequently not craving or desiring anything more," taken from A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23 by Phillip Keller.

As I have been reading in the Book of Mark about Jesus, the disciples, and the multitudes, I really honed in on a question Jesus asked the disciples as they departed in a ship to the "other side" away from the crowds. As they left, the disciples realized they only had one loaf of bread on the entire ship, a real dilemma for hungry men. This is what Jesus had to say about their reasoning over such a small amount of bread. Mark 8:17-18, "...Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? Perceive ye not yet, neither understand? Have ye your heart yet hardened? Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? AND DO YE NOT REMEMBER? When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many BASKETS FULL of fragments took ye up? They said unto him TWELVE. And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said SEVEN, and he said unto them, HOW IS IT THAT YE DO NOT UNDERSTAND?"

When we have Jesus in our lives, we are covered at all times. He has provision that is MORE THAN ENOUGH! Now these guys are talking about a loaf of bread, not a Banquet. Many may feel that God lets them down or doesn't provide because they do not receive a "Lobster Fest" on a Cruise Ship.

I found this statement a while ago..."God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him." When the desires of this world can fade away like a fog lifting off the valley, I believe that we find a new perspective about life, love, and our relationship with others, especially God. He just fills our every longing and desire. We are no longer pushed and pressured into needing anything except Him and His presence. It is no longer about me and what I must attain or receive from this world. He becomes my focus. He brings my life to the fullest, and my heart can sing in the midst of chaos, because I know He Is More Than Enough for today, tomorrow, and forever...and He always has leftovers...His storehouse is FULL... 

No Reason To Be Afraid!

Hebrews 13:5, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

How often do we find ourselves in the position of denial and question, “Why are these harsh circumstances developing around us?” We are susceptible to crying out in absolute disbelief, “I can't believe this is happening to me!” This position makes us vulnerable and opens the door for Satan to rush in and steal our faith. In extreme cases, our soul can be seized with such life-altering doubt that our Christian service is totally paralyzed, and we cannot proceed further. In that moment, we should run to God and fall upon our faces in prayer! If we seek His face in submission, He will throw off the chains of dejection and depression as we heed the burning desire of the Holy Spirit that lives within us. We are never alone. Heb. 13:5, “...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

We can easily get caught up in the climate and events of this present day. We may wonder why all the negative things are happening to us. But Jesus said it would be this way in the last days and that He would return to catch His Church away and redeem His people Israel. We must be careful that we are not so consumed with our current distress that we allow Satan to steal away the promise of our redemption and the Second Coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

We can place our total confidence in the promises the Lord has given us. He will never fail us! What He has promised, He will fulfill, so there is No Reason To Be Afraid! 

He Shall Preserve Thy Soul! by Myra Boozer

"The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul" Psalms 121:7

In his writings, David spoke frequently of knowing where his help came from. He knew where to look and in whom to put his trust. He knew who his keeper was. His life sustainer was the Lord God Jehovah! Do you know that today? Are you settled in that very important fact?

Psalm 146:2, “While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. 3Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help...5Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: 6Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:” This chapter goes on to tell us what the Lord will do for the oppressed, the hungry, the prisoners, the blind, those bowed down, the strangers, the fatherless, and the widow. These promises are very positive. But then he says in v9, "...But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down."  That is a promise also, but it is NOT good! We have the promise that the LORD preserves all those who LOVE Him, but the wicked He will destroy.

My HOPE today is in the Lord, our maker. My HOPE is not in a man or a political system. My HOPE is in the promises of THE BOOK...God's Holy Word. "The Name of the LORD is a strong tower, the righteous runneth into it and is safe," Proverbs 18:10.

When you run to the Lord for His forgiveness and for His protection, STAY THERE. Don't run in and out thinking you can be saved or safe when you keep playing with the world, getting into all kinds of sin. There is much false doctrine and many are falling for untruth because it sounds good, but it is not TRUTH.

There is only one way, and that is by the blood of JESUS. Don't trample HIS blood by playing with the world and falling for the doctrines of devils. IF GOD SAYS IN HIS WORD THAT IT IS WRONG, IT IS WRONG, AND NO ONE CAN CHANGE THAT.

God is a jealous God! He doesn't accept a half-time relationship. He wants all of our heart. Stay with God, live close to HIM, and PRAY. “The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He Shall Preserve Thy Soul.” 

He Restores My Soul!

Psalm 23:1, “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”

God is enough for anyone who puts their full trust in Him. The writer of this passage knew that very well. Speaking from the perspective of one who spent his young life with sheep, David knew the attributes of a good shepherd and made the comparison to his relationship with God.

David had learned that God would provide all that he needed in life. But more than that, he knew that God would lead him in the direction that best pleased Him for His honor and His glory. He also knew that God would be with him every step of the way, though he had to travel through the enemy’s camp. God’s anointing would be sufficient for all his days, and in the end, he would dwell in the presence of God forever.

Jesus Christ is enough for us today if we will put our full trust in Him. He will provide all that we will ever need in this life. He will do that for His name's sake! We carry His Name as followers of Christ. It is His reputation that He will defend and protect. In the presence of our enemies, He will raise up His Standard. We will walk in His anointing all our days and in the end rest in His presence forever.

How can anyone pass up this glorious opportunity? How can we neglect such an awesome invitation? He Restores My Soul! 

Time To Be Very Still! by Myra Boozer

Colossians 3:15, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body, and be ye thankful."

For quite a while now, a big squirrel has perched right on the top point of the building out back. He looks like an ornament, really; he looks frozen, not moving except for the wind blowing his fluffy tail. I wonder if he is angry about this weather, or maybe the stash he had for his family is depleted. I don't know, maybe he is confused by this weather. One moment, the sky is sprinkling snow on us, just like you would sprinkle confectioner's sugar on your French toast, then all of a sudden it stops, and the sun shines so bright. You think, Wow, is it over? Then it starts up again. That's the way of confusion, and it's something we all have at times. It is hard to deal with when your prayers are still not heard and your heart is breaking for your loved ones. You began to question God, “Why the delay?”

This is the time to be very still and very quiet and just wait, just like the squirrel perched on the highest point. God can soothe all our frustrations and calm our minds. We can rest in His presence and know He loves us, but we must remember that sometimes He allows us a little while of "feeling all alone and confused." Don't give up and don't complain. Rest in the fact that God has it all in His hands and in His time He will make all things beautiful...with no confusion. He brings Peace and Joy that will overflow in our hearts and brings assurance in every situation. Time To Be Very Still! (This was written some time ago, but is very fitting for today.) 

Go Back To The Beginning! Conclusion

Go back to the beginning. The beginning is the revelation, the vision, the dream, the communication of heaven. What is the foundation of your revelation, vision, dream, or Word from the Lord? Your future depends upon your revelation. Is your life built upon Jesus Christ and His Word? Matt. 7:24, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”

We look at the condition of our world and know that we are living in perilous times. But it is going to get worse. We don't know exactly when the Church will be caught away (raptured), but we do know that conditions are going to get progressively worse. The foundation of our revelation must be the Truth of God as revealed in the Lord Jesus Christ by the Holy Ghost!

God has been with us from the beginning of THIS journey, and He wants us to understand that it is through Him that we will finish. Come to Him now and allow him to wrap you in His mantle of authority and shelter you from the storms ahead. I hear the rumbling in the distance, the sound of a mighty army moving into position. It is a well-prepared force; each warrior is in his place and prepared to do his duty. There is no fear in their number because they have been washed clean. Though their sins were as crimson, their raiment is white as snow. And there is one with them whose eyes are a flaming fire, and He is clothed with a vesture dipped in blood. His name is the Word of God! Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword to smite the nations and rule them with the rod of Truth. He tramples the wine-press of the wrath of Almighty God. He has on His garment and on His thigh written the name, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. At His appearing, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that JESUS IS LORD! 

Remember Your Promise! by Myra Boozer

Many have made a promise to the Lord to spread His Gospel message to a lost and dying world. Maybe when you got saved, when you were in Revival hearing the Word of God and had a real "revelation" of what Hell is going to be like for all those who do not accept Christ... Maybe when you were at Youth Camp, sitting around a big fire after the sun had gone down... You were given a pine cone to throw in the fire that represented your commitment to share salvation with a lost world.

All of these and more happened in my life. As a child, I knew God had a plan for me. I am sure I could have done more, but it has been my life's purpose to help people know JESUS. I cannot stop now! We are too close to the coming of the Lord! More than ever, we must REMEMBER our promise to tell others. Tell people about JESUS, the Son of God, coming as a baby born in Bethlehem to become the Savior of the world. And, tell people about HIS SECOND COMING as KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS to establish the KINGDOM OF GOD and RULE AND REIGN FOREVER! Remember Your Promise! 

Go Back To The Beginning!

Wake us oh Lord to the full measure of your truth. We will not be content with only the resemblance of truth. Baptize us in your truth. Immerse us in your person. Let us put on the Lord Jesus Christ and be a living example because He is in us.

Go back to the beginning! God is the beginning and in Him we live and move and have our being. He is the beginning, the beginning of time, the beginning of creation, the beginning of life, the beginning of man, the beginning of love, etc. James 1:16, “Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. 18Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” In this chapter, James is addressing the mortal weakness of man and his propensity to sin. And right in the middle, he plants this golden nugget. Sure there is imperfection all around us but our life comes from above, from the Father of lights who never changes and there is not even an allusion to His changing. He is always the same, consistent, loving, compassionate, powerful, delivering, victorious Father.

Before the existence of anything, God was! In the beginning, God! Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” He is pulling us back to Himself as in 1 John 1:1, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;” John’s reference is to Jesus, the Word of Life being the incarnation of God who was from the beginning.

He has been with us from the beginning of THIS journey and He wants us to understand that it is through Him that we will finish. There is no other power, presence or virtue sufficient to complete our assignment. He will magnify our efforts and ministry as He receives the honor and glory for the results. The Holy Spirit is calling “come wrap yourself in the power of His presence and allow Him to perform in you His glorious works!” I am weak but He is strong. If we allow Him to fully control our lives, we are made strong in our weakness because our weakness is God's strength. There is no enemy that can stand against Him, there is no foe that He cannot overcome. There is no fortress that can withstand Him and no opposition that He cannot vanquish. (continued)

Going through a storm is never comfortable or something we welcome, but it has its rewards. Yes, you will come out stronger than when you went into the horrible situation. You will know how to pray more than you've ever prayed. You will understand God’s ways are not our ways, but they are for our good. You will have more peace than before because you understand that contentment doesn't come from good circumstances or possessions but from having a pure relationship with the Lord. You will realize that you’re no longer burdened with having to figure out all the details of your life. He does that for you. You learn that joy does not come from feeling happy about situations, but from knowing that all is well with your soul.

The small wonders of His great creation will make you smile and rejoice in knowing he made everything with a purpose, a plan that includes you. You will learn how amazing God really is!  He can take nothing and make something. Remember, He SPOKE this whole universe into existence. He makes the sun shine and the world rotate on its axis. He is ever mindful of YOU, one of His greatest creations. “TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL THINE HEART; AND LEAN NOT UNTO THINE OWN UNDERSTANDING. IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS,” Proverbs 3:6-7. A promise to never forget, especially In The Time Of A Storm! 

Discerning Light From Darkness! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 8/22/25)

In Acts 13, we read about the beginning of Paul’s missionary ministry. The leading and anointing of the Holy Ghost was an integral part of Paul’s ministry and gave him the advantage of discerning Light from Darkness. Acts 13:2, “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. 4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.” Notice that it was the Holy Ghost that made the selection and the Holy Ghost that gave the assignment. We must lay our plans aside and petition God to make us part of His Plan.

They preached the Word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. A certain deputy of the country called for Paul and Barnabas, desiring to hear the Word of God. A certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus, opposed them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Acts 13:9, “Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, 10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? 11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. 12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.” The reality of this passage is that those who oppose Jesus Christ really do walk in darkness. The decree of the Holy Ghost brought to fruition the physical reality that the sorcerer was truly walking in spiritual darkness.

The Holy Spirit discerned the “darkness” and called it out. In the power of the Spirit, the darkness was defined and confined. There is no further mention of Bar-jesus in the Bible. The lesson to be learned here is that the judgment of God is sure and final. This was God’s Plan! The Holy Ghost did the choosing and gave the assignment. Therefore, Paul’s mission was under the mantle of Christ and without limitation. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must walk in the Light as the Holy Ghost leads and move in the anointing of His assignment. He will discern the Darkness, Define and Confine. By the power of the Spirit, the power of darkness will be revealed and deposed! By the Holy Ghost, we will Discern Light From Darkness! 

In The Time Of A Storm! by Myra Boozer

Are you in the midst of a trial and feel you are headed directly into a life-threatening storm? Do you feel that your world is about to fall apart, and you have no idea where you're going to land? Has your foundation been shaken by the enemy, and your life seems to be twirling in the air, headed to the land of sorrow?

Many people are in circumstances that make them feel helpless and hopeless. They don't know who to trust, who to call, or who they can depend on to lend a helping hand. They are struggling with so much fear and anxiety about what their future may hold.

Sometimes things happen overnight, and we feel stunned by the changes that are inevitably on their way. Things are changing all over the world with governments, health care, employment, sickness, marriages, and a great moral decline, making people fear for the lives of their families. But, we must remember God never Changes!

Sometimes people lose everything they own and have to start over from the beginning. God has promised He would make a way for us. He has invited us to call on Him and to trust in His ability to take care of us. He has told us He would never leave us or forsake us, no matter how fierce our storm may become.

 We must stand on His Word...His Promises...His Truth. His Wisdom is from everlasting to everlasting. He is not a man that He should lie. What He promises, He will perform. (continued) 

Discerning Light From Darkness By The Holy Ghost!

John 14:23, “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him… 25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

As followers of Jesus Christ, we will suffer persecution and experience opposition at the hands of Satan, the enemy of our souls. In Ephesians 6:10, we are admonished to “be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Our strength and success are dependent upon our obedience to the Word of God and submission to the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus became the living Word among us and indwells this mortal body by the Holy Ghost. The world hated Him, and they will hate all who follow Him. Matthew 10:22, “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”

In a world that is filled with darkness, Jesus has made provision for us to discern the light from the darkness. He promised His disciples that after His departure, He would send the Holy Ghost to be our resident guide, adviser, and protector. When He comes, He will teach you all things necessary for your success and cause you to remember all that He has already taught you. Jesus has taught us to discern light from darkness by the power of the Holy Ghost within us.

It is imperative that we know light from darkness. That is a very simple statement, but I find it to be one of the greatest needs among Christians today. Among all the subjects that we have written about over the past 5 years, the response to subjects about truth and light has been an overwhelming 3 to 1 over any other single theme. People want to know the truth. They want to be able to discern Light and Darkness. It is crucial in these last days, and the indwelling and work of the Holy Ghost is indispensable in this endeavor. Meet Her At The Crossroads! by Myra Boozer

"Does not wisdom call out, And understanding lift up her voice?" BUT WHO IS LISTENING? Only the wise will hear! "She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, beside the way, where the paths meet. She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entrance of the doors," Proverbs 8:1-3, NKJV.

Wisdom is calling to everyone of us, but some just don't have time to listen. They are too busy making plans and settling deals with whomever they choose. They decide to walk right on by Wisdom and give her no attention as though she wasn't even there. Too many today are so hasty and determined to be their own guide that they have forgotten to seek God for wisdom. Wisdom is a choice, you see. We don't have to keep making the same mistakes over and over again. Wisdom is there, "beside the gate."

Every decision one makes has an entrance, but before we proceed further, we can take time to seek wisdom. She (wisdom) is not overbearing or rude, but she is there, standing strong and firm. She is at the entrance of every door. She is on the face of every decision. She is available. We can embrace her, or we can ignore her!

No, she is not without price because she is only available to those who will lay down their ideas, their plans, their desires, and seek after the righteousness of God. No, she is not immediate because it takes time to rid oneself of the earthly, carnal, selfish desires and lean fully on the heart of God.

God is the Master Planner of our lives. He is the One who knows everything from front to back. He knows us and the plans He has for us. He is the one who made us creatures of choice, and He willingly gives wisdom to all who will choose her.

What a great honor to meet "Wisdom " at every crossroad. There is so much uncertainty and many days of difficulty to know who is telling the truth and who isn't. To figure out the puzzle and escape the maze created by the worldly system requires more than my mind can conceive. I must have wisdom, for she is from God. He has placed her there. She will not fail, but notice she (Wisdom) is standing where the paths meet. That means we can go either way. We will go the way of the world unless we are firmly rooted and grounded in Christ. The way of the world is the broad way leading to destruction. The narrow way will be the one where Wisdom is standing and offering Life Eternal. She is valuable, more precious than rubies, and nothing you could ever desire can compare with her...see Proverbs 8:11. 

Why Settle For Less?

John 10:7, “Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Why would you settle for less than the very best your life could possibly be? It all depends on who or what you put your trust in! The system of this world will let you down. We cannot place our trust in the hands of mortal men but must seek out the “life giver” who already has a plan, His plan for our lives.

If we obey His call, He will fully implement His Divine “order” in us and through us.  Order suggests the way objects in space or events in time are arranged or follow one another. God knows where we need to be at any given time so He may bring forth His Divine purpose in us. He is vividly aware of the best possible path for our lives. He sees our future and knows the way we should take.

Some people thought that electing Donald Trump as president of the United States was the answer to all that ails us. Other people think that electing a Democrat as president will bring a solution to all our problems. However, our political systems do not have the answer we need. Our religious systems do not have the answer. The political systems and the religious systems of our world will usher in one world government and one world religion. That is definitely not the answer, but it is fulfilling the prophecy of the Bible. What we need, what our nation needs, and what our world needs is the Lord Jesus Christ. All other sources will ultimately fail us. “..I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Why Settle For Less?

Take This Whole World Just Give Me Jesus!

Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

“In the morning when I rise, give me Jesus.” So goes the lyrics of one of my favorite songs. Jesus is my Beginning, and He will be my End. He is my Sustainer and my Provider. Though I pass through this intense darkness, He is my Light and my Salvation. I may not know the next step to take, but He is my Guide and gives me perfect peace in the turmoil. He will speak to this storm and declare, “PEACE BE STILL.” He restores the strength of my soul and causes me to rise up on wings as an eagle. He makes me to soar high above the conflict in this world, separated from the struggle. He keeps me in the hollow of His hand, and Nothing can pluck me from His saving grace.

That is the power of His abiding presence! Power to push back the evil and darkness that has captured the innocence of life and destroyed so many precious souls. The power of His presence in me enables me to declare in the Name of Jesus, “YOU SHALL PROCEED NO FURTHER.” There is power in the Name of Jesus over all that comes against me. As He abides in me and I in Him, He will vanquish every foe and cause me to triumph over every evil plan of the enemy. Oh! Victory in Jesus, my Savior forever! Change My Heart, Oh God! by Myra Boozer

I love this song..."Change my Heart, oh God, make it ever new. Change my heart, oh God, make it more like you." It is also a great prayer. Isn't His Grace Amazing? To think that He would forgive all our sins and cast them far, far away in a sea to never be remembered. It just makes me cry when I think about how my mother taught me many years ago about the love of Jesus. This love also takes away our chains, the things that seem to hold us captive and make us a prisoner. His love says NO MORE BONDAGE! His love is unending and still so amazing after all these years. I trust Him to take me on the rest of my days, however long they may be.

My mother also taught me how to cook, sew, clean house, take care of babies, and much more. However, the best things she ever taught me were that Jesus loves me and died on the cross for my sins. She taught me to love others as myself, to be forgiving, and to pray about everything. She taught me by example, which is the most profitable way to teach.

I must share this news with you today. Jesus loves YOU and died for YOU. You too can be set free from all the struggle, from all the guilt and shame, the chains that bind, the things that pull you down and make your life miserable. They can vanish in a moment when you humble yourself and allow God to raise you up in His Holiness because He is Holy, Righteous, and Pure.

He wants to hold you in His great big arms today and make everything new. JESUS LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER KNOW. Put your trust in Him. He is your deliverer, and He will fight your battles. You don't have to struggle any longer or carry the guilt of sin. Just surrender to the one who created you, loves you, and died for you. He wants to give you life everlasting and peace for the journey until that Day. His love is so Amazing, so rich and free. He is so full of compassion and great mercy. When all around you is crumbling and falling away, Jesus will not fail you. He is your steady ROCK, your firm FOUNDATION, and soon Coming King!  

Jesus' Love Pulls Back The Veil That Separates Us From God!

I began this day as I do every day in the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. I see that His love abounds everywhere, even in the areas of our world that appear to be dominated by sin. But, Jesus’ love is there! A love which transcends all obstacles, penetrates into the most remote and isolated crevices of life. Every area of human existence is held in the shelter of His hand.

Your needs and my needs are laid bare before Him. He knows where we are, what we feel, and what we dream. He sees each despairing thought and feels the anguish that we feel. He identifies with every human experience and emotion that has touched and will continue to touch our lives. He left His throne in glory, took upon Himself the form of human flesh, so He can tell you today, “I have been where you are and I feel what you feel.” He experienced the human condition in the fullest sense yet without sin. Heb. 4:15, “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

He is saying to the whole human race, “I understand. I have made a way out. Believe on me as the scripture has said and be free.” You may feel trapped in a place you don't want to be. Give it all to Jesus! He has made a way of escape for you. Trust Him! He knows the way. He is the WAY! Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Look to Him and live!

Every challenge that I encounter will make me stronger if I remember where my strength comes from and put my trust in Him. Yes, my strength comes from the Lord!

I must not forget that I never walk alone, for He knows the way I should take and He will direct my path in all my adventures. It is when I reach out to Him, when I place my hand in His, that I really feel safe and secure. He is my Father, and He always has my best interest at heart!

"Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me bless his holy name." Psalm 103:1 

Restoration In The Name Of Jesus!

2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Although these passages are referring to God’s relationship with Israel, the Word is defining a universal principle and characteristic of our Heavenly Father. God is the God of restoration. It is His nature to put lives back together. When we come to Him on His terms and meet His conditions, He will bring restoration in our lives.

God’s promise to Israel was to restore what they had lost or what had been taken from them. God is no respecter of persons, and that promise is relevant to any believer in any generation. Satan does not want you to embrace that Promise. But through the blood of Jesus Christ, you are brought into the family of God. You are a Child of God as a Believer. As a blood-bought Child of God, we can declare in the power and authority of the Name of Jesus that the enemy release what he has stolen from us. If we will believe, the key will turn in the lock, the lock will fall free, and the doors will swing open wide at the command of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Believe the Promise God has given you. By faith declare that the enemy loose what is yours and set you free. He has no other option but to comply.

God will restore what Satan has stolen from you! Take back your life and be restored in the Power of Jesus Christ! We pray it in Jesus’ Name! Amen! 

Redeemed By The Blood Of Jesus! by Myra Boozer

The days are evil and the storms of life are raging...The enemy has come in like a flood as it rips through our land, trying to wash away every grain of truth and justice that has prevailed in our country since the beginning of her existence. Turmoil has found a landing on the steps of every home and the heart of every man, woman, and child. The winds of this world whisper, “You are alone and no one is interested in your sorrow...just forget about finding refuge in the soul of another human being...Trust only in your might and none other...no one cares or is able to lift you above the muddy waters of this terrible, swift, and raging current.”

But wait, I hear the chirping of the sparrow and see the Eagle on the highest bough...and listen to the breeze as it sings the sweetest song...Redeemed, You are redeemed...you have been purchased, bought with a price...counted worthy to be forgiven and you are FREE...This is no time to be discouraged...God is allowing us to build strong faith in HIM and not our circumstances. No mortal relationship can save us! We are Redeemed by the Blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ! 

God's Gift Of Redemptive Grace!

The Truth of God’s redemptive grace is exercised in the gift and sacrifice of His Son, Jesus, our Messiah. Why would God make such a sympathetic offering? The answer lies in the text of John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” All who desire the Truth will navigate toward the Light of God, make the necessary adjustments in the strength of Jesus Christ, and walk in His Truth.

We are born into this life carrying this enormous burden called “sin.” The entire human race was plunged into a state of sin due to the disobedience of our mother and father, Adam and Eve. They fell for the Serpent’s temptation and ate of the forbidden fruit. God placed a curse upon the earth because of their disobedience.

God has included all under sin that He might offer a remedy. Galatians 3:22, “But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe...26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

Jesus Christ is God’s Gift of Redemptive Grace to this lost and dying world. The Truth of His redemptive grace reaches into the darkest crevices of life to illuminate the path of lost mankind. Look to Jesus, our Messiah, today and be loosed from the penetrating, consuming darkness enveloping our world. Jesus will deliver you and empower you to walk in the freedom that only He can give! 

Truth Will Prevail! by Myra Boozer

I want to hear YOU Lord! I want to listen to Your Word and also hear Your voice! The winds are blowing up a storm, and I see on the horizon a new dilemma, a time of trouble, a time of emergency for those who are not aware, for those not prepared, for those who are busy and overtaken by their own plans and desires.

What do we do? They have ears to hear, but do not hear, and eyes to see, but do not see. They are getting angry with those speaking about your Return. They are not interested in our words! They have Big Plans to stay! Sometimes I feel I am pulling back; I don't want to do that. I pray you give me Your words.

Truth will stand STRONG, in the evil and corrupt day...
It will be VICTORIOUS...
It will SING LOUD AND STRONG...
It will TRIUMPH...

Are You Searching For The Truth?

Proverbs 21:2, “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.”

I have noticed in my later years that one thought continues to present itself in my walk with God. “Live every day of your life with the end in mind.” Our vision of the end will invariably determine the subject of our focus on each and every day of our lives. With that in mind, I continue to reach for the Truth of God to envelope my soul and deliver me from this house of flesh.

Are you searching for the Truth, or are you looking for something that will fit your list of Religious principles? Solomon stated that every “man is right in his own eyes.” Our human tendency is to justify what we want. We want so badly to think that what we believe is the Truth; consequently, we try to make the Scriptures fit our lives. The correct approach is to make our lives fit the Scriptures. When we attempt to remake God’s standard to fit our ideals and values, we drastically diminish the power of God’s Word, limiting it to only what we receive and understand.

Is it the Truth because we comprehend it to be so? Truth is Truth regardless of whether we receive it or understand it. Truth is not based on our perception, acceptance, or denial. Truth is the very character of our Creator. God is Truth! And His character is revealed to us through the Scriptures and in the persons of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Jesus stated in John 14:6, “...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Jesus promised His disciples an Advocate to come after His departure and declared that Advocate to be the Spirit of Truth. John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

If we want to understand Truth, we must cultivate a personal relationship with the one who is Truth. To receive and understand Truth is to receive the Lord Jesus Christ, submit to His counsel, be obedient to His discipline, and walk in total surrender to Him. If we will continue to walk in obedience and seek the revelation of God’s Word, we will move forward in Truth. 

You Can Know The Truth! by Myra Boozer

What should we be concerned about TODAY? Truth is a major issue that keeps getting twisted in lies and more lies. Some things just get swept under the rug, while others continue to be proclaimed from the rooftop. The bottom line is, we need Truth to prevail. The more we seek Truth, the more we can recognize lies when they are presented.

There is so much deception in our world. Everyone seems to have their own song and dance routine. They dance to a different beat. Sometimes that beat is unsure, not clear, just not accurate, but because it is their drum and their inspiration, they continue to beat.

It is time for us to find the Master Conductor and fall at His feet, so that we may receive the correct notes and play the sound that the world needs to hear.  No, everyone does not play the same notes, and sometimes everyone stops for that loud sound of the cymbal. In the scope of a beautiful masterpiece, everyone follows the conductor.

No one should be alone to play whatever sound he desires to play.  All are united to play what the Master says to play. It is time to get alone with the Master and know what He wants from us. As the Church, we need to be playing His beautiful symphony. That is not what we are hearing, but if every Child of God will listen to the Conductor, it can happen quickly.

There is a change in the air for the people of God.  God is stirring hearts and bringing us into the unity of prayer. Prayer for repentance as a whole and prayer for the lost, because our time is coming to a close. Our open window may be closing soon, and there are still many who are not saved. It is time to pray! When we pray in fervency, the windows of Heaven open and prayers will be answered...the Truth will be heard, souls will be saved, the work will be done, and the Bridegroom will come for His Bride! You Can Know The Truth! 

Walking In God's Favor?

Jeremiah 2:8, “The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.”

The priests, pastors, and prophets led the way for Judah into apostasy. Through the words of Jeremiah, God was revealing a pathway to victory. But there is only one way to secure God’s favor. Judah must acknowledge their defiance of God’s law and return to God in repentance and submission. Through the prophet Jeremiah, God was pleading with Judah to return to Him and to His Favor.

What is the parallel for today? The leaders of American churches have led the way toward apostasy and must bear the responsibility for the conditions within the churches. A congregation will not rise above its leader. Then, it becomes the responsibility of those leaders to represent God’s Truth in word and deed. Godly leaders will uphold God’s standard, which is God’s truth. True leaders are co-workers with the Lord Jesus Christ through the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit. God said that He would lift up His standard when the enemy comes in an overwhelming force. “So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19

We are now experiencing the onslaught of the dark forces released from the Satanic abyss. The enemy is angry that the Church of Jesus Christ would dare to rise up and oppose him. But now is the time for that very thing.  Every pastor, leader, and congregation has been pressed by the will of a carnal society to accept all people and lifestyles. This external influence has pressed into the Church, creating internal conflict. The pressure of inclusion and compromise has led to a deviation from God’s Truth.

However, God has a standard for us to embrace, accept, and model if we are to name the name of Christ. God’s standard is Holiness. God requires repentance and a turning away from sin to the holiness of God’s Truth. Ephesians 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Godly leaders must preach the glorious Gospel of God’s Truth. Jesus is returning for His Church made ready by the washing of the Word that His Church may be presented to Him, Holy and without Blemish. 

Jesus Is Always Near! by Myra Boozer

“When I walk by the wayside, He is along with me...Amid all my forgetfulness of Him, He never forgets me.” Thomas Chalmers

Oh, the days that I look for Him, the days I think, Where are you Lord? I cry out to him, Please come and fill my longings and let me know you are here. I wish I could remember that He is always near and never leaves me, but trouble overtakes me, and my heart begins to break. Just for a moment, my forgetfulness rises up and I too despair as Peter did over the stormy sea. Peter was walking on the water to Jesus! Wow, but the winds were overwhelming to his mind. He must have actually forgotten the miracle that was happening right under his feet.

Matthew 14:28-31, "And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come and when Peter was come down out of the ship he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. BUT when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying Lord, save me."

How many times is God making a way when there seems to be no way? But one puff of wind from the evil one blows us right off track. We must be like Peter and CRY out in our desperation, "LORD, save me." We must never forget that He is ever near when the enemy starts howling and putting up a fight. We must have our minds centered on Jesus and remember that he never changes. Jesus Is Always Near! "For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5 

What Does Your Future Look Like? Conclusion

The Lord Jesus assures us that similar recklessness and unbelief will be found at his coming. We are living in the day that Jesus talked about. The conditions in our world parallel those of Noah's time. The general attitude toward the last days' message is one of disbelief and false security that refuses to heed any warning. Life continues as though nothing is amiss. Mankind continues to seek his way of living, which is focused on selfish, carnal desires. He lives in pursuit of another enticement that will thrill the senses. All he sees is the momentary pleasure, the temporary highs. He doesn't see that he is sowing carnal seeds that will be brought into judgment. Our world is on a collision course with the judgment of God. The whole of mankind is reaping the seeds of sin.

Just as God brought judgment in Noah's generation, He is in the process of doing the same in our world. The greatest failure of a man is to exclude God from his life. You can allow what is to come to do the work of conviction and repentance to accept Jesus in salvation. Or, you can continue in your own way, failing to heed God's warning, and suffer the same destruction as in Noah's day. Judgment is upon us. We will reap what we have sown. Hear Jesus' voice today, repent and be saved!!!

What Drives You? by Myra Boozer

Have you ever asked yourself, “What causes me to do the things I do and say the things I say?” Do you feel it has to do with the place you were born and raised? Did your neighborhood have a great influence on your behavior and your outlook on life? Does it come from the way your parents nurtured you...or failed to nurture you? Were you greatly impacted by the things you learned from them and your relatives? Or, maybe your greater influence came from your education, the things you learned from teachers or professors.

I believe all these relationships affect our lives in either a positive or negative way. I feel the people in our lives have such an impact on the way we desire to pursue life and become the person we have become.

I attribute my standard of conduct and my choices for living come from my own personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ! The Holy Spirit drew me to my knees in repentance for the sin that was passed down to me from Adam and Eve. I was greatly convicted of my sin. I became aware I was a sinner and I needed a savior. It came from a praying Mother who taught me about Jesus from as far back as I can remember. It came from Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and from Church Camp. The preaching and teaching of the Word has had such an impact on my life. For that, I will be forever grateful.

Something drives us all to believe the things that we believe and say the things we say. Wherever we got our belief system, we must search the scripture to see what God's Holy Word has to say about the matter because that's what counts. It is the Word that has stood the test of time, and it will stand for all eternity. Each one of us will be judged by the Word. Not my ideas, not my thoughts, not my opinion, or the opinion of any other person, but God will judge us by His Holy Word. Jesus himself spoke these words in John 12:48, "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." What Drives You? 

What Does Your Future Look Like?

What does the future hold for all of us? Paul wrote to Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:1, “...in the last days perilous times shall come.” He describes a time of mass corruption and a breakdown of law and tradition, times of danger, of persecution, and of trial. Truly, these are desperate times, but the party continues in the world as they appear to be oblivious to the judgment coming upon us. The Bible tells us that as it was in Noah's time, so shall it be at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Matt. 24:38, “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,”

In spite of Noah's warning, this verse describes the reckless way that the people went on their usual course, pursuing their pleasures with doom hanging over them. Life continued as though nothing was amiss. The world was on a collision course with the judgment of God because of sin and disobedience. God gave them warning and opportunity to repent, but they laughed at the message and mocked the messenger. For 120 years, God left the door of redemption open, but when time (God's time) was up, He closed the door to salvation.

Matt. 24:39, “And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

The people of Noah's day “knew not until the flood came.” They did not recognize the signs of the coming judgment. Their attention was upon their own carnal pleasures. Flesh was the driving force in their lives rather than care of the soul. (continued) 

Seek The Lord While He May Be Found! by Myra Boozer

1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

Satan, the prince of this world, has a plan! He is seeking after all he can destroy. He is working and controlling every person who will listen to him. But God has given a window to the Child of God, an opportunity to PRAY, a time to sound the alarm before GOD releases judgment on Satan and all those who have obeyed the voice of the evil one. God is giving us time to warn people, a time to pray and seek Him, a time to come close to Him and gain strength for the days ahead.

Don't become so busy with plans and programs that you forget the DAY we are living in. Know that after we pray, we will still be living in the scheme (an orderly combination of things on a definite plan) for the last days. We can't change the times and seasons that God has ordained, but we can be filled with strength and hope and know that King Jesus will have the final say in this battle.

The days of Judgment are coming, and only those held in Jesus’ hands will be overcomers. Death has no sting for the child of God. Death is not the end but the door to Eternal Life through Jesus Christ. Seek Him while He may be found!

Let him that has ears to hear, HEAR! Why? "Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof; I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated KNOWLEDGE, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore they shall eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil," Proverbs 1:24-33. Seek the Lord while He can be found! 

Pray Like Daniel Prayed!

The prophet Daniel was not so different from you and me. He lived in a time of displacement and captivity for his people. He struggled to remain at peace with his captors and remain true to the Lord God Jehovah. But when he was forced to make a choice, he always chose God.

When Daniel knew that the decree had been signed, forbidding anyone to pray to any god except King Darius, Daniel made an open show of his allegiance to God (Daniel 6:10). Daniel prayed as he had before. His prayer life was the foundation for his existence, both present and future. When the enemy tested his love and loyalty to God, Daniel continued doing what he did every day. The die was cast and the pattern established. Therefore, Daniel held to his faith in God, and God delivered him.

The substance of our life in Christ must be established before the storm comes. We must know that the foundation of our life is built upon Jesus Christ, and all other ground is sinking sand. Therefore, when the trials of life test us, we continue doing what we have always done. We pray and trust God as we always have done, and God will deliver us once again!

Lord Jesus, help us to pray like Daniel prayed. Help us to trust like Daniel trusted. Help us to be delivered like Daniel was delivered. Thank you Lord for the power of your promises. Direct our steps to walk in your word and experience the power of your promises. Order our steps that we may walk in your perfect peace. In Jesus' name! Amen 

The Hour Is Late! by Myra Boozer

Acts 2:17, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams."

In the last days, God said He will speak through visions and dreams. We need to be so full of His Spirit that He can speak to us any way He chooses to speak and know it is Him. This is where Christians need to be able to discern between good and evil.

Satan can also speak to you, usually through people, different cults, cultures, and through your own fleshly desires. God is warning us through His Word and His people to Pray. He is asking us to submit, surrender, and hear what He has to say to us in this late hour. It is imperative that we know His voice.

Are people listening? It does not appear that all are! Just like the days of Noah, they went on their merry way. And just like America is doing, fussing and arguing over what is good and what is evil. These things should already be settled. I would never have thought that our country would accept and promote the evil it has under the umbrella of tolerance. These things are a great distraction to what God is calling America to do...REPENT!

When will people wake up? Our hope is in the Lord! But people, and many of them Christians, still trust in the arm of flesh (human understanding) to fix our world. Many think that if the right political party is in control, all will be well. That is not so, even though there is a great difference between the Right and the Left. It is very clear how far from God this country has fallen.

God wants us to be filled with His Spirit, listening to His voice, and obeying His commands. There will be a rude awakening one day, and I feel it will be sooner than we can imagine. We must turn from the sin that so easily besets us and be covered by the Spirit and Power of His Might. God Alone Is Our Hope! Only as we are tuned into His voice can we hear what He is saying in this late hour. Yes, The Hour Is Late! 

Jesus Is Coming For Those Who Are Looking For Him!

Heb. 9:28, "...unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."

Today, we stand at the door of a grand endeavor. That is to prepare for the appearing of the Son of God, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. Our challenge is to make ready for His return, to be united with the bridegroom. The external forces in our world are pressing in upon the boundaries of holiness and righteousness so firmly established in God's Holy Word. The ideals of a carnal theology have infiltrated the pulpit, diluting the faith that was once delivered to the saints. But the Holy Spirit is the sustaining force within. He will lead and guide us into the Truth of His Word.

Many voices are claiming to speak for God. Although God uses human vessels to share His message, we must know God in an intimate and personal kinship so He can speak directly to us. The Holy Spirit and the Word will teach us the Truth. The Holy Spirit will help us understand the events unfolding in our world today. When we read God's warnings in His Word and see the events around us aligning with the Word, we must conclude that we are living in the End Times.

Are we really expecting Jesus, our Messiah, to return to deliver us? The world was not expecting Him when He came the first time, and they missed His gift of Salvation. Don’t let that happen to you! Jesus Is Coming For Those Who Are Looking For Him!
