Who Will Be Ready? by Myra Boozer

Hebrews 9:28, “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

"What kind of people must we be to be ready for the return of the Lord and to enter the kingdom of heaven with Him?" There are many answers to be given. The one that stays with me so much is...We must be watching and waiting for Him (carrying out His commission). He is coming for those who are looking for Him!

We must be set apart from this world and separated from its hold on us. We must be in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ so as to want to be with Him. Not just use Him as an escape route to "get out of " what is coming upon this world in the form of judgment because of sin and wickedness. Luke tells us, "Watch out! Don't let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don't let that day catch you unaware, like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth. Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man," Luke 21:34-36 (NLT).

We must have ears to hear and recognize His voice when He gives us direction...also to hear the trumpet sound...not everyone will hear that sound. We must be ready to go with Him. The Word says to be alert, not dulled by careless living.

Do we love the Bridegroom? Are we laying aside every weight that would hinder us from being ready? Are we watching for His coming? The Truth about the Rapture gives us great incentive to deny worldliness and live holy and righteously today, because He could come today.

Don't let anything sedate you. Stay watchful! This world can pull you in by its luring bait, which looks all pretty and innocent, but it is a trap, and not easy to escape once you have bought into it. Jesus said, "And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things, entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful," Mark 4:19. 1 John 2:15 tells us to “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” Who Will Be Ready?

Who Left The Gate Open? Conclusion

(for part 1 see 6/29/25)

At present, we are in the battle of our lives as we stand against the evil that has been unleashed upon our world. What we are experiencing did not come about overnight. This has been in the making for decades. The Wolf, Satan, has moved quietly but intently among the flock doing his treacherous work. However, his work has taken on a new level of intensity because he knows he only has a short time to complete it.

A monstrous storm is gathering and is even now forming into a catastrophic event. Those who can’t weather the storm will be broken off! There will be casualties in the ensuing conflict. We cannot allow ourselves to be driven by the winds of this world. We must know the TRUTH and stand upon the TRUTH. Ephesians 4:14, “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;”

The days ahead will require that we have and maintain a real experience in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our faith in Him will be put to the test, and even now the battle has become more intense. You can feel it in your spirit! This is all an attack by Satan and his demons from hell. But greater is He that lives within me than he that is in the world.

We must maintain a healthy connection to Jesus Christ. Jesus said Himself, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing,” John 15:5. All our strength comes from Him. If our relationship in Christ remains vibrant and healthy, He will sustain us through any storm. Otherwise, the storm will break us and we will be like so much discarded refuse! God have mercy upon us!

Don't Let Satan Steal Your Identity! by Myra Boozer

I believe Satan is working overtime to steal, kill, and destroy everyone he can. If you have heard anything about him, you know he is a liar and the father of lies. He is a fallen angel who is destined to be imprisoned in the bottomless pit. (See Revelation 20)

I want to tell you that he can only do what you allow him to do! As a Child of God, you are covered by the blood of Jesus. You have been purchased by the Son of God, bought with the price of Jesus’ great sacrificial death.

You are no longer the same person. You are the redeemed of the Lord, and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. You're God's very own child. That means you are of royal descent. You have authority and have the support of YOUR Father, God, to fight your battles against Satan.

Remember what I told you about Satan. He is working overtime in these last days to steal, kill, and destroy. (See John 10:10) I feel today more than ever he is out to steal your identity in Christ Jesus. He will accuse you and lie to you about your Father, God. He does everything he can to make you doubt the Father's love for you, even to the point of telling you that you're not even saved. He will bring up the past and run you down with it if you allow him to!

I want to warn you! Immediately, you need to stand your ground, which is the Word of God. Tell Satan out loud if you need to that you are a redeemed Child of the Most High God.

Satan wants to steal your identity, causing you to doubt who your Father is, and causing you to fall into unbelief. He will strip you of your dignity and honor if you allow him to! Satan works in our minds and can cause us to doubt our Father's love for us. He can bring about a helpless and hopeless state of mind if we allow him to!

Rise up in Victory today as you stand on the Word of God! Tell Satan who he is and who you are. You are a blood-bought, righteous child of God. Jesus’ royal blood now flows in your veins!

Thank you, Father, because you have given us the right to be your children, heirs of your Kingdom. You have made us rich in power and authority over every evil force that comes against us, all because of your "Name." It's because of who you are and the fact that we belong to you. We are your children! Romans 8:14, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."

Who Left The Gate Open?

John 10:12, “But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.”

The hireling has left the door open, and the wolf, Satan, has entered in and made havoc of the flock. However, we cannot continue down this path. We must rise up in the power of the Holy Spirit and take back what the enemy has stolen. You might ask, “What has he stolen?” He has taken our families and our homes. He has taken our schools and educational systems. From there, he has taken control of our local, state, national, and international governments. Over the last few decades, Satan has moved God out of these institutions and governing bodies, and he almost does at will what he wants when he wants. Except for the “Restrainer!”

2 Thessalonians 2:6, “And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”

God is still in control, and His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, is still restraining the full-blown takeover by Satan and his world of darkness. That time is coming and is quickly approaching, but God will determine when! (continued)

Come Up Higher! by Myra Boozer

Lord Jesus, push back the darkness that is coming against every child of God. Lord, please help us to delight in Your light and Your never-ending love. Set our feet on a clear path and give our minds and hearts a deep understanding of who you are, our creator and the Father of all mankind! You love like no other. You are our constant friend who will stand by us when the whole world is sound asleep. You are never far but always near. You come, and call us to come up higher, high above the sad and the gloom that tries to hide your love from us.

You call for us all to open our eyes and see all your beauty. You call us to know you by name, and recognize your loving voice. You call us to hold your hand, and know that you are our Protector. You pick us up and carry us when we can no longer walk on our own. You are the one who rescues us when the winds of evil blow across our path. You wipe our tears and wash our faces. You reassure us of who we are, and who YOU are, Our Loving Father. You will never leave us and never forsake us as You invite us to Come Up Higher!

Lord, What Would You Have Us Do?

Acts 9:6, “And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.”

Saul was on his way to Damascus with documents to imprison followers of Jesus Christ. This text recounts Saul’s response to his Divine Encounter with Jesus on the road that day. Saul had his own objective, but God had a different path planned for him. It took a Divine Revelation to change him and the direction he was going. Confronted with the Presence of Jesus Christ, his response was, “Lord, what would you have me do?” We would do well to seek God for the same attitude of submission that we could proclaim, “Lord Jesus, what would you have me do?

God, help us to yearn for Your Divine Presence and the Revelation of Your Truth! Lord Jesus, open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to hear Your voice today! We need a revelation of Your plan. We are not seeking an understanding by this mortal flesh. We are seeking Divine revelation of the Word of God. The same revelation that the Old Testament prophets experienced as they walked in obedience and depended upon the impartation of Your instruction and anointing to bring the relevant Word from God to the people of God. The same revelation that the New Testament apostles experienced as You called them out and set them apart to be Your voice for Your message to a world in crisis, lost, and without hope except for Jesus' sacrifice.

Holy Spirit, take charge of this mortal flesh! Lead us along the correct path to receiving God's revelation and understanding of His Word relevant to where we are today. We are not seeking insight built upon human knowledge because that is empty and fruitless. The revelation of Your truth surpasses all human understanding and is far above this world's knowledge. The hope of our heart and our soul's desire is to receive and impart Your truth. Your truth delivers the sin-sick soul, frees the shackled, and heals the wounded heart. Lord, revive Your Word afresh in our souls and lead us to those in need! Lead us, Lord, and we will follow wherever You open up the door! Lord, What Would YOU Have Us Do?

When Something Is Just Not Right! by Myra Boozer

If you ever feel that something is just not right, maybe you feel a little anxious, a little fretful, maybe a little uncertain about things, and you just can't put your finger on it. I have found the answer. Get into worship and let the Glory of the Lord come down, giving you a refreshing that comes from His presence. If that doesn't work, just talk to Him one-on-one, asking Him if there is anything in your life that is not pleasing to Him...maybe your attitude, your actions, or your inability to rely on Him. Learn to love the closeness that worship and prayer brings. Sometimes it takes effort and discipline, especially in the beginning. We are His children, and sometimes children don't always make the right choices. So we must ask if we don't already know, "God, what is wrong in my life?"

This world is a headache sometimes, well, all the time...but God desires that we overcome the world. Don't get caught up in the worldly system or the SIN that is so prevalent and very seductive. It can reel you in and take over quickly, putting your life in a state of turmoil and real danger. Instead, you can experience wonderful fellowship with the Lord and cast off all the heaviness the world throws at you.

We must remember that our physical freedom, which we hold so dear, cost a great price. Our forefathers suffered, and many died because they dared to declare Independence from the mother country England. I know our Freedom is not Free...it costs and is still costing. “God help us to know that our Freedom in You cost Your only Son, Jesus.” Oh, how He loves us, and we must not trample His mercy as we see some who trample our American Flag and our American Heritage.

Stand firm in the things God has shown you in His Word. Live true to the standard He has set for you to live by. The Bible, His Word, is not to be ignored, pushed aside, or rearranged to fit one's lifestyle. Understand there is Life in the boundaries and guidelines of His Word. There is protection from shame and disgrace. There is forgiveness and freedom in His mercy. There is transformation from a drab and hopeless life to a life of overflowing joy and peace, even in the midst of trouble. It can happen when you open your heart with confession instead of trying to keep secrets from the Lord. He sees all anyway...we can't hide anything from Him. He so desires for us to come as a little child and give him our heart, our worship, and our allegiance. He will make all things new in our life, as only He, the Creator of all things can do!

Lost Souls, Lost For Eternity!

John 4:35, “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”

Don’t postpone the harvest! The harvest is ready! We are hearing the message of Jesus' soon-coming more each day, and I believe that is the inspiration of God, allowing us to know that time is short. We cannot delay in fulfilling Christ’s commission to proclaim the Gospel and make disciples for Jesus. We cannot afford to delay or be negligent in our Divine task. There is too much at stake. The salvation of those we love and influence is at risk! Who will reach them if we are not obedient to His calling? How can we escape if we neglect this great salvation? The time to win them is while God is calling us! If He is instructing us to take the message, He is preparing hearts to receive His message!

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to the needs of all people. In the book of Luke, the angel's announcement of the birth of Christ was the proclamation of Good News for all mankind. Luke 2:10, “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” All men must hear the message of redemption and freedom in Jesus Christ.

Our “Mission” is ordained and empowered by God. Christ commissioned the Church, but as His disciples, we must embrace His command and accept individual responsibility to share the “Good News.” The Church will fulfill Her role and complete Her Mission. As individuals, we have a choice. We will either embrace His call or settle for something less than complete surrender. Without total abandonment for Christ, we cannot finish our assignment successfully. We cannot afford to fail in this endeavor.

Matt. 7:21, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Lost Souls, Lost For Eternity!!!

God Wants Your Commitment! by Myra Boozer

Many people turn to God when they have serious troubles and trials. They need help!... So they go to Church, say their prayers, but only for a short time. They turn back to their old ways until the next time when they just can't handle their problems any longer. Over and over, they do this. So Sad! They just don't understand!

God is not a "pie in the sky" kind of God. He wants us to love Him for who He is, not for what He can do for us in times of need alone. He is not an on-and-off God. He is a full-time God and wants a full-time relationship with His Children.

Today is not the time to forget God! The battle is raging, and it is so dangerous to be out in the cold without your covering. God wants to shield you and keep you from all the harm and danger of the enemy that is out to steal, kill, and destroy. Satan is sneaky and will come at you in many different forms...sometimes as an Angel of Light. Don't be deceived by him! Run to God today and find Him to be your answer. He is waiting with open arms, longing for you to make a commitment to Him. Stay the course, don't run away. "We love Him because He first loved us," 1 John 4:19. God Wants Your Commitment!

Be Still And Know (Encounter) God!

Psalm 46:1, “...God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.”

We need to know God! We need to encounter God! We need more than an intellectual knowledge of the person in the Bible referred to as the “Lord God Jehovah.” We need a life-changing encounter with Him that will put us on track to experience His Person every day of our lives.

We need to know God in such an intimate manner that He can give us specific instructions for this hour. Now is the time to pray and seek Him for individual direction and instructions for the Body of Christ. We cannot afford to delay or be negligent in this task. There is far too much at stake. The salvation of those we love and influence is at risk. How shall we escape if we neglect this great salvation? Time is short! Our deliverance is at hand!

Will you join me in praying this prayer? “Lord Jesus Christ, I want to be still and hear Your Voice. Open our ears to hear Your Message for today. Bring forth in us Your Purpose and Will. Send Your Power to explode in the lives of those who will believe, sending forth the fragments of Your Glory, penetrating the most formidable obstructions that Satan has built. Invade the darkness with the light of Your Presence, sending out disintegrating beams of Your Deliverance. As the rays of the sun warm and revive creation in the spring, may the rejuvenating Power of Your Love and Mercy call to life the sedentary soul. We pray this in the Name of Jesus, Amen!”

May I Dance...? by Myra Boozer

Lord, from Your Throne, may Your Will be made known unto me...and may I surrender with a humble heart...

From Your Throne, may Your Love flow down like a waterfall...and may I be cleansed of every selfish desire...

From Your Throne, may Your Peace blow over me like a gentle breeze...and may I let go of every concern and anxious feeling...

Lord, from Your Throne, may Your Victory come as a sweet, gentle rain...and wash away all my doubts and fears...

From Your Throne, may I hear Your Voice and willingly share what You have to say...

From Your Throne, may Your Joy come upon me with laughter...and may I dance in freedom at your acceptance of me. Amen!

The Living Word!

John 1:14, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” Jesus is the focus here. The Word was made flesh and lived among mortal flesh. The Greek term for “word” is “logos.” Revelation is the idea contained in the perception of “logos.” The Word is the revelation of the Triune God. Triune being three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

1 John 1:1, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) 3That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 4And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.” We can conclude that the essence of God is fully accessible to mortal flesh through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Ghost!

What does that mean to us? We need to understand that God, in all his awesomeness, is fully approachable through Jesus Christ. John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Ryrie says that the logos concept, “here is applied to Jesus, who is all that God is and an expression of Him. The Word is said to be with God (IE., in communion with and yet distinct from God) and to be God (IE., identical in essence with God).” Sounds awesome, right? That believers have full access to such a magnanimous person. But we do in Jesus Christ. God wants us to know Him so that we can fully know ourselves in Him.

We don't need to back away from the mountain of God in fear of His presence. He wants us to not only be aware of Him but to share His presence in our daily walk with Him. The Israelites recoiled in fear at the manifest presence of God on Mt. Sinai. They had witnessed the power of God, but without faith to trust Him, God's presence created fear. They had seen with their own eyes what He could do. So, God placed a boundary at the foot of the mountain, and they were instructed not to approach the mountain. The Israelites had to communicate with God through a mediator. God gave His instructions to the Israelites through Moses. What made Moses different from the rest? He trusted God! He was willing to leave the things that he didn't understand in the hands of God.

We have no need to be fearful and afraid. Jesus became our mediator with God when we accepted His sacrifice at Calvary. Because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, we have the boldness to draw near to God, and through our mediator, Jesus, we bring our petitions to Him. He invites us to come boldly before the throne of grace and make our petitions known to Him. This is a very important attribute of our relationship with God. In the presence of God, we will discover who we are in Jesus Christ. He will define the terms and boundaries of our mission by the revelation and leading of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives.

His presence is absolutely indispensable if we are to understand who we are in Jesus Christ and what that means to us and to a lost and dying world. God help us to be receptive to the illumination of His Spirit!

Can You Believe? by Myra Boozer

Can you believe how fast things are falling apart in this country and the world, for that matter? God will not put up with evil running rampant for an extended time. He will come and fight against these evil people who seem to prevail.

God has all power, and those who think they are so high and mighty to come against God and His Holy Word, will find that they can ONLY do what God allows them to do. One day they will tremble in His presence, bow their knee and confess He is LORD. But that will be too late! NOW is the day of salvation!

Somehow, I believe these, that have turned to such rebellion against God and the Truths that our country was founded upon, at some point rejected the still small voice of a loving God who offered His only Son for their sins. But they rejected Him! When any person keeps on rejecting God, they are falling deeper into the arms of an evil master who will consume them with his deceitful ways and carry them with him to the pits of hell.

God has given us another day (well, He could come at any time, before the night has ended), but we have this time right now to surrender our hearts, our minds, our wills. It could be too late for those who don't have ears to hear, but for those who have ears, let him hear what the Spirit is saying. Call on the Lord while He is near! Seek Him while He can still be found. Please don't take God for granted and spurn your opportunity to know Him as Lord and Master of your life.

"For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled," 1 Peter 3:12-14.

There is a song that says, "God is fighting for us. He is on our side. We will not be shaken. We will not be moved." God is so faithful to His children! He will not allow them to be defeated. Can You Believe?

Rediscover Your Identity In Jesus Christ!

Malachi 3:7, “Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?”

We find numerous passages in the Bible where God instructed His people to repent and return to Him. How can that be relevant to the Body of Christ? Because our attention can be easily diverted from the vision we have of God's work and our mission. We are easily distracted from God's business, so we need Him to remind us often of where we are and what we need to be doing. We need the Holy Spirit to reveal where we have slipped away and where we need to return.

Enabled by the Holy Ghost, go back to the inception of the vision. Go back to where you started. Examine anew your decision to follow Christ, your mission, and purpose. What was your perception of your relationship then, and where are you now? What has changed? What about the vision needs your attention? In the beginning, it was all about Jesus, the truth of God's Word, and His commission. We must allow the Holy Spirit to open the windows of our soul to the revelation of His perfect truth and how that will be implemented through our lives.

A Future Built On Sinking Sand! by Myra Boozer

Dr. David Jeremiah asked the question, “We seem to have lost all interest in the Christian Values that built America. What does that mean for our Country's future?”

My answer is this...America has forgotten the old path that our forefathers traveled, and they have sought what they call "The American Dream." One of prosperity and progress, giving place for greed to capture the hearts of many, opening the doors for deceit and deception in all areas of trade.

The love of money and the desire to have plenty has caused many to forget their families at home, leaving them to the daycare system and even to the streets. No time for nurturing or discipline, no time for God and His plan for their lives.

The desires of the flesh have overruled the desire for God, and many homes have been broken, causing God's plan for marriage (one woman for one man for life) to be cast aside.  The result has been the development of much sadness and anger. This has been the reason for much rebellion, drug use, and unwanted babies, which has led to many abortions.

Many of those who have been leading our country have no Christian Values. Not all, but many have given in to lowering their standard to fit into society. This has not only taken place in the arena of government but also in our spiritual world. Men and women have lost their desire to follow the standard of God because of seeking "The American Dream."

Seeking to fulfill every desire known to mankind has opened the door to much evil. We can see where this philosophy has led. America built this dream in the sand of pleasure and desire, and the waves of Judgment are coming fast upon her shores. My suggestion is to be waving the banner of SURRENDER to God Almighty, for He alone can and will save us.

Matthew 7:24, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”

God, Have Mercy On Our Nation!

I am reminded of the Prophet Daniel in chapter 9 as he rehearsed before God the completion of Jeremiah’s prophecy of seventy years in captivity and desolation. He realized that they were coming to a time of change for the people of Israel. However, he also knew the importance of repentance before God. Therefore, he began to offer up prayers and supplications with fasting in sackcloth and ashes. He stated before God in Daniel 9:5, “We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: 6 Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land...8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee. 9To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;...18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.”

His petitions were for mercy in the face of such blatant disregard for God’s Law. America’s only hope lies in our willingness to repent and return to the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Our only hope is for a move of God, a spiritual awakening, an igniting of Holy Ghost fire that will renew man’s desire to repent and follow God.

My prayer today is that the Holy Spirit would blow upon this nation and, as the wind moves the mighty oak, that Americans as one collective body would bow low in convicted repentance. I ask God to break the obstinate rebellion that has seized the mind, heart, and soul of so many. Lord, bring America to her knees once again, for it is there that we will find our true purpose in God's plan. God, Have Mercy On Our Nation!

Let God Arise! by Myra Boozer

Stay close to the Lord and receive His Favor.

Trust in Him and receive His Strength.

Long for Him and receive His Glory.

Walk with Him and receive His Power.

Ask of Him and receive His Wisdom.

Listen for Him and hear His voice.

Praise Him and He will give you a Song.

Humble yourself before Him and He will exalt you.

Wait on Him with good courage and He will strengthen your Heart.

Eat at His table and you shall be filled.

Delight yourself in Him and He will give you the desires of your Heart.

Submit yourself and He will wash you clean.

Give what you have and He will multiply it.

Sit at His feet and He will teach you.

Look to Him and He will show you great and mighty things.

Put your Hope in Him and you will not be disappointed.

Lift Him high and others will be drawn to Him.

Love righteousness and hate wickedness and He will anoint you with Gladness above others.

Remember Him and you will rejoice.

Let God Arise and his enemies will be scattered.

Call upon Him and He will answer you.

Seek Him and You will Find Him.

It's Not God's Fault!

Isaiah 59:1, “Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:”

The condition of our world is not God’s fault! Sin has separated mankind from God, but it’s not God’s fault! Man has chosen to walk in the path of sin rather than heed God’s counsel and correction.

In Isaiah 59, Isaiah gives a litany of sins for which Israel needs a redeemer. He observes that judgment, justice, and truth are qualities absent from the life of Israel. Because there was no qualified mediator, God would provide salvation through the coming kinsman Redeemer. This salvation is in Jesus Christ, whom they rejected at the First Advent. However, God promises that He will forgive their sins and restore them to a covenant relationship in the end. Isaiah 59:20, “And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD. 21As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.”

The promise of the kinsman Redeemer “and unto them that turn from transgression,” is a provision of the covenant, but will be implemented through repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as the Messiah. That will happen to a remnant of Israel in the end.

The call of God to all humanity is to repent and return to God in a covenant relationship through Jesus Christ. Any people who expect the favor and covering of God must approach Him in repentance and follow in obedience. One of the greatest judgments that God brought against Israel was their failure to uphold “truth and justice.” That principle is just as relevant to our world today. If God brought the leadership of Israel to judgment because of their lack of truth and justice, He will do the same for every generation.

We must have the intervention of God in these last days. Let all men in every place fall prostrate before Him, casting all care upon Him, and receive His light of pure redemption. And let His perfect light be exercised through me. Jesus Christ alone is the remedy for ALL our sin and the Light of Pure Redemption! youtube.com/watch?v=eYefLBtqQyQ

Can You Hear The Rumbling? by Myra Boozer

How do you stop an avalanche? What is an avalanche? It is a large mass of loosened snow, earth, etc, sliding down a mountain, an overwhelming amount coming suddenly. You can't stop an avalanche! But you can hear the rumbling noise and get out of the way...possibly.

Are you hearing the noise of the overwhelming avalanche that is coming on this world? If not, then maybe we need to get very quiet and still and listen. The rumble is getting louder, but it seems our world just turns up their music of distraction (whatever it may be) to drown out the Sound of the coming disaster.

There is good news! Jesus is the rock! He is the fortress! He is the shelter in the time of storm! Stand strong in Him today and know that His Father has EVERYTHING in His hands, including the avalanche that will come suddenly. Trust in the one who created Heaven and Earth and all that is in it! Can You Hear The Rumbling?

Sometimes It Takes A Troubled Sea!

Acts 27:27, “But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down...29Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day. 30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship, 31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved. 32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.” They had to remain in the ship and continue to have faith in the revelation that the Lord had given to Paul. God's plan of deliverance was to include the debris of the broken vessel, the vessel that had sustained them thus far. But, they had to be willing to stay with the ship until she literally broke apart on the rocks. Those broken pieces became their salvation. When our circumstances are falling apart, we must remain true and obedient to God’s command to be saved.

Acts 27:33, “...Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. 34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you...36 Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat. 37 And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls. 38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.” The fast was concluded. They could take comfort that all would be saved, and they were all (276) of good cheer. They continued in faith and obedience as they threw everything overboard to lighten the ship. They had done what they knew to do! Now was the time to allow the Lord to bring an end to their storm. They took up the anchors and committed to the sea, completely free of all encumbrances, completely sustained by the wind of God.

Acts 27:41, “And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves...43 the centurion...commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land: 44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.” God's process will run its course, and in the end, His purpose is secured. How many times in our own lives have we survived on the broken pieces of our ship? The storms have been strong and the struggle bitter! But, we have stayed with The Lord Of Our Storms, and our end is secure in Him! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-24kkrKp1Y

Leaving No Room! by Myra Boozer

“As the Communist atheists allowed no place for JESUS in their hearts, I decided I would leave NOT the smallest place for Satan in mine...” by Founders of the Voice of the Martyrs.

We must be on guard in what we allow into our hearts and our thoughts. Stay full of God and the Holy Spirit, then there is no room for Satan. The Spirit will warn us when Satan is knocking on our door wanting to come in through the media, or through unforgiveness, idolatry, pride, or unbelief, to name a few. There are so many ways he will try to enter our minds and take up residence in our hearts. Don't answer when he comes knocking. If you do answer, make sure you answer with scripture! Luke 4:8, "Get thee behind me Satan for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." We live in a world of sin, and corruption is everywhere we look. We must stay away from it! We cannot partake of sin and remain pure, holy, and Godly!

A well-known evangelist said that after receiving Christ in his life, some of his past friends came by wanting him to do drugs with them. He thought about it and said, I would have to lay down what God has done for me in order to go with you guys today. He felt it was not worth the trade! "He washed me clean and gave me back my life. I can't go back to my old ways of living.” Thankfully, he would not consider giving up his "New Life" in Christ for the pleasure of sin. The sin that had almost killed him. He was used by God to win many souls during the Pensacola Brownsville Revival.

Remember, we are in training for the Lord's Army. When we fall down, we get back up. Never give up on God. Keep striving for the goal. Philippians 4:13, "I CAN do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." With the help of our Lord, we will remain faithful to Him and the calling He has on our life.

So grateful he continues to pursue me and confronts me about my life through His Word. He is still changing me and conforming me into His image, for which I am thankful. I, too, have a desire that not even the smallest place in my heart is given over to Satan.

"Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path," Psalm 119:105. Guard your heart and thoughts so they are filled with God...LEAVING NO ROOM IN YOUR LIFE FOR SATAN!

Except A Man Be Born Again...?

John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

There appears to be some confusion among the secular churches about the definition of “holiness.” How can we embrace holiness and sin at the same time? Sure, we need to identify with the struggles of the sinner, but we cannot accept the life of sin. And neither can the sinner if he or she wants to be truly free. Sin is a weight. Its destructive powers are like a malignant cancer with its invasive tentacles reaching into every fiber of the human body. The cancer must be identified and eradicated. It is the work of the Holy Ghost to identify the sin in us. It is the work of the same Holy Ghost to destroy sin as one repents and walks in the redeeming power of the blood of Jesus, bringing captive every thought and deed.

We must serve notice to Satan. We must tell him that he cannot exert his influence in our lives. He needs to know that he is not welcome. He needs to feel the fervor of the Holy Spirit when he comes calling. He needs to know that this house is under the supervision of the Lord God Almighty.

Holiness is not adherence to a creed, doctrine, or religious ritual. Holiness is the result of spiritual transformation created in the heart of the believer by the indwelling of the Spirit of God. Thereby, the believer becomes a new creation in Christ Jesus, born anew from above. John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Holiness is an attribute of the new heart created in the life of the believer. Being born from above, the believer receives his guidance from our Father above and reflects that guidance in every facet of his life. Except A Man Be Born Again…?

Jesus Knows Every Heart! by Myra Boozer

Jesus plainly told the people (the Pharisees and Scribes) when He was here on earth, that He and His Father were one. He also told them His Father gave Him the Authority to do the things He did.

Wow! They did not like that one little bit. They were so angry with him. They tried to trick Him all the time and were so ready to find fault with Him. They did not believe Him to be the Son of God. They were continually taking apart every word He spoke. Even though they knew the Word, they would not accept Him, the Word incarnate, God in the flesh!

Jesus was very clear about who He was, and it was very clear to Him as to who they were because He saw their hearts. They were very religious, but they didn't want to accept Him, and they didn't.

No one can fool Jesus! Even though they knew the law, they read it day and night, He saw their hearts. No matter how much knowledge one has about the Word, he must accept the Word in the flesh. JESUS is the Son of the living God! He is the ONLY way to the FATHER!

"Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; or else believe me for the very works’ sake." John 14:11

The Beginning Of Sorrows! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 6/18/25)

Romans 8:22, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”

God has already begun to pour out His judgment upon this world, and the birthing pains have begun. In light of the scriptures in Matthew and Mark, we must conclude that the Holy Spirit is connecting the “the beginning of sorrows” to the birthing process. The term “beginning of sorrows” is associated with childbirth and literally means the beginning of travail pangs. We can conclude that the judgment we are seeing and will see in the immediate future is a prelude to the culmination of the birthing process. This birth will bring forth a new Israel reborn, a new kingdom (the implementation of the literal Kingdom of God), and a new world (new heaven and earth).

Let us understand that God will preserve His Church, the Bride of Christ, through all the unrest and destruction that will come upon our world. He will equip and empower His Church to rise up in His Name and do great things even in the midst of darkness and evil. He will preserve the Church until she has completed her mission in the earth, and then He will rapture her away. In both Matthew and Mark’s writings, the “beginning of sorrows” described by Jesus are the beginning of something much worse, which is yet to come.

Mark 13:19, “For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. 20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.”

Matt. 24:21, “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”

The “beginning of sorrows” is the beginning of the birthing process, which will culminate in the rebirth or restoration of Israel to a living relationship with God through their Messiah, Jesus Christ. But before they repent and return to God, Jesus says in the book of Matthew that “then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” This “great tribulation” will bring forth a new Israel reborn. The Lord will shorten this time of affliction for the elect’s (Israel's) sake. Jesus will return at the Second Advent, defeating the Antichrist and his world system of government and religion. Jesus will establish a new kingdom in the earth (the implementation of the literal Kingdom of God) and a new world (a new heaven and earth).

The birthing process has already begun, and deliverance is at hand. The tribulation now and the great tribulation to come are but a prelude to the culmination of all things. Oh, happy day for the child of God! Oh, the sorrow of those who neglect His call!

Matt. 24:42, “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

What's On Your Calendar? by Myra Boozer

“For the Lord himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we EVER be with the Lord... Wherefore, COMFORT one another with these words,” 1Thessalonians 4:16-18.

For the Child of God, this should be on your Calendar! He is coming! We don't know when, but we know He is Coming. I do NOT regret the years I have lived my life with this anticipation. Even though He has not returned as of yet, it has made me who I am and has kept me more focused on what is eternal, instead of what is temporal. The word temporal means worldly, not spiritual, secular, or limited by time. (Webster's New Dictionary)

I believe the way we live our lives daily has such an influence on ALL the decisions we make, and on our goals and expectations of life. If we are continually focused on our plans for today, if our life revolves around "us" and what we want, we will be grabbing for all that we can get, not really thinking of the day we are living in and where we are on God's Calendar.

We then become addicted to THINGS. We are never fulfilled, never satisfied, always searching, always desiring "something" new, something different to fill our lives. You see, this is a trick from all the way back to Eve and the "lust of the eye." It was just so appealing, and she just had to have it. Also, the promise from the serpent was that it would make her like God. It inevitably brings its reward of spiritual death if not repented of. What’s On Your Calendar for the next few weeks or months? This thought might help us to re-evaluate where we are and where we're going!

The Beginning Of Sorrows!

Mark 13:5, “And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 7And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. 8For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.”

First, we must look at the context of these verses in relation to their immediate application. Christ was alluding to the immediate future, when many of these circumstances would occur, as well as to events that would take place at the end of the age. We can conclude that these scriptures were partially fulfilled when the Romans destroyed the Temple and Jerusalem in AD 70. The Jews were scattered to every corner of the world and only began to return to their homeland in 1948. Since that time, God has been bringing them home.

The tribulations and calamities which preceded and accompanied the overthrow of Israel at that time are a sign and warning of the great and universal woes which will bring in the great day of the Lord and the judgment of God. The reference alludes to the beginning of something much worse, which is yet to come.

Ellicott's Commentary states that the words “the beginning of sorrows” mean strictly, the beginning of labor pangs. Paul speaks of the whole creation as travailing in pain together. So, a time of national suffering and perplexity is one in which the children have come to birth. Romans 8:22, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.” The whole of creation is groaning in travail for the birth of a New Day. A day when sin and its destructive results will no longer affect God’s Kingdom, a kingdom in which the Son of Righteousness will reign for eternity. The lion will lie down with the lamb, and the Glory of God will once again permeate all of God’s Creation! (continued)

May I Use This Breath! by Myra Boozer

“How beautiful are your ways, oh Lord. Your Glory and your Good Pleasure are such a delight. I learn from the very air I breathe how vast your love is to all mankind and the creatures you have created. You blow upon this earth, and we breathe. Our very Life is from your Breath. It is what sustains all of us!

Lord, may I use this breath you give to sing Praises to your Holy Name, to lift you high above the Mountains that your own breath created? You spoke all things into existence. May my heart rejoice in your Beauty and Splendor for all of my days.

May I use this breath to call upon you in a time of surrender of my will to your perfect plan. Accept my heart's cry today, for I am helpless, useless, and utterly lost without your Mercy. I am as one who is groping in the darkness without you.

May I use this breath to tell someone of your great love. Some do not know, or else they have forgotten just how much you love them. May my breath speak your unlimited Love to all people everywhere.

May I use this breath to speak Your Truth to those who should be ashamed, ashamed for turning away from your plan and going after their own “design” for lifestyle and behavior.

May I use this breath to sound the Alarm for all those who are far from you. Some who just gave up and put down their armor. Others who just want to seek out an easy way, still claiming your Name. And yet others who have fallen asleep and do not know the times in which we live. As in the days of Noah, they see the conditions yet deny the judgment coming on all who sin.

May I use this breath to speak Hope to the hopeless and Life to the dying, Peace to the restless, and Joy to the sorrowful. May my words be uplifting and encouraging as I speak of your soon return for your Bride, Your Church, Your People, Your Chosen Ones.

May I use this breath to speak of your great treasures...the ones you have hidden in your Word...the hidden riches of secret places...that they may know that you are the Lord God of Israel....Amen and Amen…” May I Use This Breath!

Breath Of Heaven Breathe On Us! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 6/15/25)

Jesus’ instructions to His disciples had been to go to Jerusalem and tarry (pray) until the Holy Ghost comes. Luke 24:49, “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” The Holy Ghost is the power part of our commission to spread the Gospel message. Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Jesus fulfilled His promise in Acts 2:1, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” The presence of the Holy Ghost was “a rushing mighty wind.” That is the way Christ wants to affect our world today. This rushing mighty wind of God changed the world in the lifetime of those very disciples.

In Acts 17, the Gospel message had met with tremendous opposition. The messengers of the Gospel put their lives at stake. The unbelieving Jews of Thessalonica were so indifferent to the Gospel that they sought to take Paul and Silas and give them to the angry crowd. Acts 17:6, “And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;” The unbelievers were compelled to declare that these Christians had turned the world upside down and had come to their city to do the same.

I would to God that it could be said of this present generation of Christians, they have turned the world upside down for Jesus Christ. However, if we are to be instruments of this harvest, we must be endued with power. It will take being filled with the Holy Ghost, “the rushing mighty wind,” to fulfill Jesus’ commission and finish our mission in these last days. Only the power of the Holy Ghost can seal and protect us from the darkness and evil that has flooded this world. The Holy Ghost in us will make us victorious in this spiritual war.  Lord, send Your Mighty Wind upon us!

Listen To The Voice Of God! by Myra Boozer

Do you want to tell others about Jesus, but just don’t know where to start? Being a Christian and feeling the everyday challenge to share Jesus with your world is sometimes overwhelming. Many people shy away from talking about their personal experience with Him. They want to push that responsibility off on the “Minister”. But when you have a heart for people, you want to somehow relay the “Good News Message” to them.

This is where a person starts. "Listen to the voice of God." He will lead you! It may be small steps at first, but keep listening and obeying His Word. God knows your heart, and He will give you those desires as they are rooted and grounded in HIM. As we are changed more and more into His likeness, people will see and know who He is. They may not tell you or admit but they will see and know. That means the Holy Spirit can and will deal with their heart, and they will make a choice to accept or reject what has been shared with them through your life. Because of your love for Jesus, people will be reached.

Keep your light burning for Him every day in every way by spending time in prayer, meditation, and study of His Word. When He opens doors or windows, you will know and understand the way you are to go.

Alone time with Him is what we all need more than anything. So many distractions today, so many voices saying come and do this or that. But when God directs, their voices become very faint and His becomes stronger. He will confirm Himself over and over to you that you are in His will. Rejection will be evident at times, and it HURTS, but Jesus heals our hurts in His time.

Keep on keeping on for Christ in the area you feel He is calling. We are not all called to do the exact same thing, but we have the same purpose...Telling the world the “Good News” of Jesus Christ...the one who saves, delivers, gives hope, and a future with Him in Heaven. Keep a hunger and thirst for His righteousness. The promise is, YOU will be FILLED...you will overflow...and others will receive Light for this journey if they so desire. His light shining through you puts them face to face with His TRUTH! Listen To The Voice Of God!

Breath Of Heaven Breathe On Us!

(I wrote this some time ago, but it is still relevant today to where we are as a people.)

It was a hot summer morning in mid-August in the South. You could say that it was a typical day for the season, high humidity with little to no wind. I went about my business without really giving attention to these details, but that was about to change.

I stood in quiet solitude, listening to the tree leaves as they began to rustle in response to a slight breeze. It was as though they were individual instruments in a grand symphony, the pitch and tempo rising and falling but in perfect harmony, each separate but still in sync.

The wind was slight at first, barely noticeable except for the song the leaves sang. I began to feel the cool wind as it caressed my face and hair. The sensation grew in intensity! The wind blew stronger and then subsided. It came in pulsating bursts, strong enough to take the hat from my head, and then at rest.

I observed and felt this scenario repeated for several moments. And then, a voice spoke into my spirit, “a rushing mighty wind.” Yes, Lord, I know it is You, and I hear what You are saying! Our Lord Jesus Christ wants to reveal Himself through the Holy Ghost to change our world. His desire is to fill you and me with the Holy Ghost, endue us with power (His Power) from on high, and turn our world upside down. He wants the world to see and acknowledge His presence in us. Breath Of God, Breathe On Us one more time! (continued)

Sing Your Song Of Deliverance! by Myra Boozer

When you feel caught and destined to die in a trap that Satan has laid out before you, call to remembrance some people from the Bible. Joseph was rejected by his own brothers, thrown in a pit, and sold as a slave. Paul was shipwrecked and so much more. Daniel was thrown into a den of Lions. Job lost everything, including his health and his family. But each of these men had songs of Deliverance to sing in the end. You can also, if you choose!

A trap or a pit of despair can seem like eternity. When you feel forsaken, lonely, depressed, financially stripped, sick, and even at death's door as these men were, what do you do? What did they do? They called out to their God and trusted in Him to deliver them.

You must not look at your circumstances, but look straight up from your pit and cry out to the Lord your God. I pray you will see the Light and the Angel of the Lord will be your Deliverer!

Most of us would do anything to avoid life's tests and trials, especially the temptations set before us because of our own desires. But they still happen, and we have the choice to remain caught or be set free by the delivering power of God. God will always bring good out of the hard times when we endure and trust in Him.

Acknowledge your fleshly desires and the sin that has beset you and repent. Give all your pain to God and confess your hurt, the resentment, and the anger. Allow God to help you forgive those involved in your hurt and receive God's forgiveness and His love for you.

Remember, He cares! He loves you, and He will stay close during your healing process as long as it takes. He is never far, always near. Soon, you'll be ready for the grand finale. So sing your Song of Deliverance and Freedom!

Psalm 40:3, “And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.”

A Life Nourished By The Word Of Truth!

(for part 1 see 6/14/25)

Timothy’s primary task at Ephesus was to put a stop to false teaching and replace it with the Truth. He was to teach the Truth and prepare others to teach it. He was also to set the example by being a follower of the Truth, which he taught.

1 Timothy 4:6, “If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.” These things may include not only what we read in chapter 4 but also the other things covered in the entire letter. In sharing the teachings of the Lord, Timothy would also benefit from being nourished by the Word of Truth.

Paul calls for a life of godliness, which is characterized by a reverent, worshipful, obedient attitude toward God. Such an attitude leads to right living. 1 Timothy 4:7, “But refuse profane and old wives fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. 8For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” An authentic teacher of Truth will fulfill that role by verbal expression and a living example. Jesus became our example in word and deed. We should acquaint ourselves with His Word in such a way as to know the Truth and recognize deceptive teaching.

Many have been led astray because they failed to recognize untruth. They have been deceived and have followed on to deceive many others having their conscience seared, unwilling to follow God’s leading. 2 Thessalonians 2:8, “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.“

The Soul Cries Out For Truth! by Myra Boozer

May those who are spiritually hungry rise up and say so…

May they call out to the teachers, preachers, the elders,

the Body of Christ...the Church...

May they tell them they are looking for a refuge, a halfway

house until they get HOME...

May they tell them the decor and the newest electronics

are not their interest...

May they tell them it is the Fresh Bread that brings

Life and Hope...

It isn't found in the steeple or the pews…

Neither is it found in the technology of the service...

But in the TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD...the Spirit, the life-giving transformation...

It is found in the revelation of Jesus and His love for their

cries, for their struggles, and heartaches...

The world is heartless, cold, and cruel...

They don't need to become another face in the crowd,

overlooked and forsaken...

The hungry need to be fed...

"Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind: Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock," I Peter 5:2-3.

The Truth Is Our Salvation!

The Truth is our salvation! 1 Timothy 4:16, “Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.” Paul had left Timothy to shepherd the Church at Ephesus. Now he is writing to him to warn of the troublesome teachers there. These teachers were apparently Jewish Christians who wanted to enforce the Old Testament Law in the Church. They wanted to be teachers of the Law though they did not understand it. 1 Timothy 1:7, “Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.”

In the First Century, as in the Twenty-First, some teachers denied that the dead are raised. Others said that Jesus never really was human, and still others said He was not divine. But, the teachers which Paul spoke about spent much time with genealogies, perhaps to exalt themselves as priests or as descendants of David.

It doesn’t matter who our ancestors are; if we fail to seek out and embrace the Truth of God’s Word, we will be lost! We may have spent our whole lives in church, but if we have not been born again (born from above) with the fruits of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives, we cannot live in the righteousness of Jesus Christ.  Ephesians 5:9, “...the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

There is Life in the Truth! All else is vain and fruitless! The Old Covenant Law was so mixed with tradition and fable that their teaching produced confusion instead of enlightenment. The result was questions and vain jangling. 1 Timothy 1:4, “Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. 5Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: 6From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;” The revelation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ will not cause confusion! 1 Corinthians 14:33, “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”

1 Timothy 4:1, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;”

Paul is dealing with some questions that had arisen in the Church at Ephesus. He was inspired by the Holy Ghost to deliver a warning for that present time, but also equally relevant to today. Some followers of Christ had already turned aside. (see 1 Tim. 1:6) Unless Timothy could counteract these “soldiers of deception,” more would depart from the faith in the time just ahead. They would give in to seducing spirits and be deceived! They would accept and teach doctrines of devils instead of teaching and living the Truth of God.

Paul also describes what will happen to these soldiers of deception. They will follow after lies, having their conscience seared over and being non-responsive to the Spirit of Truth. It is easy to go from an honest mistake to an outright lie. The carnal man will justify a half-truth to benefit selfish goals. But such a lifestyle will move a person from attempting to follow Christ to being deceived and deceiving others. (continued)

Bid Me Come, Lord! by Myra Boozer

Lord, seeing you, having my focus on you, doesn't always make the circumstances disappear. But my focus and faith rise to a different level. There, I can regain my knowledge of who you actually are and realize how you have every detail in your Book. You know the beginning from the end. You are in control of all that is going on in this world today.

You Lord are greater than my mind can conceive. I only get a glimpse of your greatness when I turn my eyes toward you. When Peter walked upon the waters, the winds and waves didn't cease for his delightful experience. They continued to roar! However, He was not looking at them! His focus was upon the one who called him to "come." He rose above them, but they were still there.

We must not be overtaken by the circumstances around us, and yes, they seem to be quite out of hand. We wonder what will happen tomorrow? We may question the stability of everything we have ever trusted in. But, just like Peter, we can say, Lord, bid me to come to you. Call me, Lord! Lift me up out of this ship of confusion that is no longer my refuge. I trust you to be my safe haven.

Lord, help my focus to be on you, not on the things that are crumbling under my feet. Help me, Lord, to step out in faith and realize that you are all I need. You are my hope, my everlasting consolation.

You are calling all who are heavy-laden to come unto you! One day you will, "with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God," call us to come up to where you are to be with you forever. That is the call we long to hear. Bid Me Come, Lord!

Let It Start In Me!

“There is a change coming. Let it start in me.” The lines have been drawn. God will bring His plan to completion. Satan will fight against God and all who identify with His holiness. The wind of God’s Holy Spirit is effectuating the change necessary in the heart of every believer to make us ready for the finale. Change is coming! Are you willing to be changed?

“Father God, I pray for the Body of Christ, all of us! Help us to hear what You are saying to the Church. Create within us a renewed desire to walk in intimacy with You. Bring us so close that the wind of Your Spirit cannot pass between us except we are aware of what You are doing in the Body.

Father, we must have Your direction and instruction. Push back the darkness that clouds our minds and thoughts and prevents us from walking fully in Your light. Burn away the fog of deception with the fire of Your Holy Spirit in our presence. Lead us forward into Your Divine plan for each one of us and collectively as the Body of Christ. Shine Your Light upon our path that we can see clearly the way You have chosen for us.

Help each one of us to find our place and serve with renewed passion. Create that passion in us as we submit to the direction of the Holy Spirit. Empower us to share Your message in the anointing of Your Spirit. Break the chains that prevent us from seeing total victory. Create within us an insatiable hunger for renewal and spiritual awakening.

Father God, send Your Holy Ghost fire among us. Baptize us afresh in Your Pentecostal power. Father, breathe upon us once again. Breathe Your life into this breathless, hopeless mortal body. Quicken us with Your Life-giving Spirit. Cause cloven tongues of fire to rest upon us yet once more. Thank you, Jesus! Stir the burning embers of our past experience that they may break into a full blaze of present revival fire. Send Your fire Lord and prepare us to receive Him when He comes! In Jesus' Name, Amen.”

A Prickly Nest! by Myra Boozer

As I recall, a mother eagle pulls out all the fluff and makes the nest prickly before those young birds want to take flight. I really think God is doing that for us today! It is getting mighty hard to feel at home in this world anymore. God knows that many are fearful of the unknown, and leaving the place we have grown accustomed to is not highly favored or on our bucket list.

When you wake up and hear of so much hatred and evil happening all over the world, even in your own hometown, you wonder what will happen next! It's just not a safe and peaceful environment anymore. Too many angry people are fighting to voice their opinion and do their thing, no matter who it hurts.

People are arguing about politics and politicians as though they are going to change someone's mind. It isn't really going to happen. Those who have their minds made up will continue until God shows them differently.

How can people declare to be Christian and say they are looking for the return of Christ, when they condone the evil acts and deeds that plainly go against the Word of God? I don't see them changing because of my conversation. It will take strong conviction from the Holy Spirit for people to change.

Sinful deeds and those who condone those deeds are in the same category. It is not okay to go against the Word of God for any reason. When the Word is mocked as is being done today by people who call themselves Christian and stand for a woman's right to abortion, they are denying the Word of God and putting judgment upon their heads. The word clearly states, "thou shalt not kill."

A true child of God wants no part of what is going on! Yes, God is allowing the fluff to be removed, and the thorny world we live in is piercing our very souls because of the evil that is taking charge. Heaven is sounding sweeter all the time!
